Tweedy obviously doesn't know what they are doing since they can't even find the problem or maybe miraculously AND conveniently can't find it.

Tweedy UNPlumbing & Restoration is awful and you can't trust them. Like mentioned before, they get you in and then they drop the ball. Thankfully I can afford their conniving and disgusting ways to take care of my plumbing issue twice. A plumbing issue that became bigger than it was as soon as I involved Tweedy in Costa Mesa.

Please do not try to contact me. You had plenty of chances and treated me like I was annoying you. A response talking about yourself speaks how tweedy is only in it for itself. Yelp is a place to voice opinions and alert others of bad business like yours, Tweedy.

Tweedy helped us out in a bind last year (overflowing toilets right before Christmas!), and they helped me out AGAIN yesterday. Were able to come by within an hour, professional, and gave me a great price considering the unforseen circumstances. Will definitely be calling them again (but hopefully not because plumbing issues are no fun!)

This plumbing service was great.  I had an emergency and needed my sink cleaned out and they were there within a half an hour and it was all done.  I will definitely use their service again!

The company always responds quickly and can set up appointment within the next day. they arrive on time and get right in the job. I have used them very often and they've always done a good job.

They did great job! Even though there's a little problem at first, but they try their best and solve the problem! Recommended!

I was extremely happy with this contractors performance today. I called them up with an emergency and they were able to squeeze me in and resolve the problem all in the same day!  Their office staff Channin sp?and their field technician Michael did a great job.  Keep up the great work.

I had called because our backyard facet was leaking. The caller was courteous and professional and someone was at my house less then 30 minutes. Johnny was our Plummer extremely nice guy came looked at our problem and gave us a quote. After fixing our problem with quite wit he fixed a problem less then 30 minutes of arrival. I have had the pleasure of doing business with Tweedy Plumbing for about three years. Tweedy Plumbing and their service technicians are professional, reliable, prompt and knowledgeable. Really great response. Tim arrived on time and texted his ETA before arriving. He replaced two outdoor faucets, repaired leaky bathtub handles and installed a new kitchen sink soap pump for us. He showed us the cost of everything before he did the work and gave us options on all of it. Excellent results. I could not be happier with the work. I would definitely recommend Tweedy Plumbing!

AWESOME service from Von and Vince!  Tweedy came out SAME DAY.  Yesterday some fools from Sears' installation service told me they could not install my new slide-in range because the gas line and granite countertop interfered.  Enter Von and Vince, who accomplished the feat in under 2 hours!  Tweedy never says no or can't do it - this is why I have used them for over 15 years!!

Honest family run business , the real deal here in the OC , been using them for 15 years , their always on time and reasonable , and stand by their work and warrantys

They were fast, friendly and worked around my schedule.  They were on time, came in and got the job done.   Tweedy is my go to plumber from now on.

I'm single chick which can make it awkward when repair men are coming to the house BUT these guys were super nice, very respectful, clean, efficient and fair on pricing.  I'd absolutely use Tweedy Plumbing again both for my home and my business.

I called Channon on Thursday After Hours and he had one of his guys Vaughn at my Property the next day. Friday of all days and they still stuck me in their Schedule. BTW, this was Not an Emergency and they could have easily put me off until the next week. Nope! Vaughn shows up on a Friday and switches out a Fitting in my Outdoor Fire Pit within an hour. This is a vacation Rental and we had an incoming Guest. The Fire Pit is a Major Focal Point for the property and Vaughn made the thing perform as never before.

They did a very good job cleaning my sewer main. Very friendly and informative to the issues at hand.

I have used Tweedy Plumbing for quite a while and had no reason to complain until recently.  
The cartridge on my Newport Brass Faucet needed to be replaced, so I called them to do the job, just as I had once before. When Newport Brass sent me the replacement part they noted on the instruction to plumber to only use a silicone based lube on the faucet cartridge and rings.

I showed these instruction to the plumber they sent out. He scoffed and said no problem they use plumbers grease.  I didn't know the difference so let him proceed with job.  When he finished the faucet spout was so tight I had a hard time moving it with two hands!  Also it took so much effort to move it that it was coming loose at the base and a black oil--which, I know now, was a mixture of the grease and water--was oozing out the top handle and mid section of faucet.  
Called they came back, worked on the faucet some more and proclaimed it fixed & that I could spray WD40 on it as it was fish oil based, (not true, it's petroleum based!)
OK spout still too tight and very hard to move.  Meanwhile grease and water continue to seep from faucet.
Called Newport Brass, they said the plumber must have used petroleum product in spite of what I asked, and that causes the O rings to swell and ruin the faucet cartridge!
I have ended up having to get a new faucet, pay to have another plumber install it too boot!
Will, of course, never use Tweedy again, and you should think twice before you do either.

We used Tweedy to fix a long-leaking pipe and inspect another issue.  I learned of Tweedy given their active involvement in the Costa Mesa community and Chamber of Commerce.  They arrived with shoe booties and promptly identified and fixed the issue for what I believe to be an exceptional/fair price.  Thank you Tweedy!

These guys are fantastic. We had a gas leak that required a new pipe to the house from the meter--they had us back up and running the next day. Very thorough, professional and conscientious in their work and in how they treat a work site.

I rated 1 star last month due to miscommunication. After the telephone call for follow-up check I change the rating to 4 star. Quick response to my call and show up.

Ask for Von and Vince. They did a good deed for me by coming over for a quick look at my pressure problem while in the neighborhood and fixed it the next day. Good guys and made a great impression, my first experience with this company.
On the other hand, whoever is answering the phone should take some lessons from Vince and Von. As a small business owner I know that you should stack your best people at the front where first impressions are made. Be prepared to feel like you have a passive/aggressive personality on the phone if you call the office first. Go ahead and make an appointment anyway....you'll eventually have Von and Vince at your home.

Can i just start with HONEST! I had 2 companies come out for my shower leak. The first one told me i needed an insurance claim because the entire bathroom would need to be pulled out and part of the kitchen. Tweedy came and checked it out, said i need a new shower pan and repair the crack in the tile, and explained how, where and why the shower is leaking. Gave me the name of a tile & shower guy and i paid them a service fee. They could have told me how much work they needed to do because they do both plumbing and restoration but instead told the truth. Honesty & integrity not something you come by too often anymore so thanks tweedy for yours.

These guys are amazing. I had a tough drain to unclog with no easy fix. They gave me an exhaustive list of options and gave me zero sales pressure to pick any. Their honesty, promptness, and friendliness have put them on the top of my list to call when I'm in a plumbing pickle. Thank you Tim for coming out and helping me navigate the options.

I have known this family for many years. Channin and I went to High School together. Tweedy Plumping's reputation is very strong in our community. They do what they say they are going to do and do it fast. I just had a drain issue in our family home in Eastside Costa Mesa and he had his guys out quickly and fixed the issue fast and now we are back in the swing of things. Can't say enough great things about this family business. Highly recommended.

Half the battle of keeping my 88-year old mom in her home is simply ensuring that her home doesn't crumble around her.  By Newport Beach standards her circa 1964 Dover Shores home is practically ready for landmark historic building status.  With original everything, the whole thing feels like a time bomb and I can never be certain what I'll next get charged with repairing.  

May was toilet month.  

In Southern California I've found that businesses ask, when I call them, how'd you hear of us?  I like this as it seems to imply that they care about how they're perceived.  When Channin Tweedy asked how I learned of Tweedy's I explained that they were recommended on nextdoor.com and that I then consulted Yelp to read what other people had to say.  On Yelp I liked the responses from the owner, especially those which explained why Tweedy's might not be the cheapest plumbing bid you'll get. It's a reasonable response which explains that Tweedy's pays for things (worker's comp, general liability insurance) which unlicensed contractors might not.  And besides, Tweedy's offers a completely free on-site estimate so what's to lose by having them bid a project?  

It's with this mindset that I requested a free on-site estimate for the non-functioning toilet.  

Tweedy's came out the following morning and followed up that afternoon with a written quote, exactly as promised.  I thought I'd use that to get a bid from another contractor but when it came down to it their bid seemed reasonable and they could do the work the following day.  

Could I have saved money going elsewhere?  Perhaps, but that would've required me to hunt down and get a bid from another plumber, after again checking nextdoor and Yelp.  Contrary to popular belief, I have a life.  

Brett and Tim came by the following day, swapped out the old toilet and installed a new, low-flow, ADA-compliant toilet.  The grand total was $548, they left the space spotless, and I didn't need to spend any more time thinking about or dealing with the problem.  

In the Bay Area I've had to pay as much as $275 for a HVAC house call so I well-understand the benefit of someone offering a free on-site estimate.  There might be times I'd choose to shop that bid around but wait.  Nah, who am I kidding?  Tweedy's did an excellent job.  

Time will tell what I'll have the pleasure of repairing or replacing next month.  If it's another toilet though?  I'll probably be calling Tweedy's..

We are huge Tweedy fans!  These guys are pro, honest, and seem to do their best to save you money.    We worked with Brent today, who solved our washer-to-mainline problem quickly and for much less that we expected to pay.  If I could give six stars, I would!

I must say that tweedy plumbing is the best. I had my main line worked on by others previously, I kept having some of the same issues with the main sewer line backing up. I was referred by a friend to call tweedy. Emmett came out the same day, at the time they said he would. He was able to find and fix the problem in the line with the camera. every thing went down super smooth ( no pun intended) with the drain and the transaction after the job was done. its been about a year since and so far the repair to the sewer line has held up. I've called them several times since then for other minor repairs with the water lines and faucets and stuff. the guys always do a great job, their work is worth every penny. I recommended them to my mom and now she uses their services too. she is also very satisfied.

I had David out today to fix a clogged sink.  Made absolutely sure the job was done right before leaving, put in the extra effort.  Was on time, worked fast, left the area near the clean out spotless.  Second time David has done work for us, outstanding knowledge of his trade.  Nice to see people like him still who take so much pride in their work and customer service.

Our leak from our first floor ceiling was quickly diagnosed, fixed, and the ceiling was restored expertly.  Hats off to ME for choosing Tweedy!   And THREE THUMBS UP for Tweedy and crew for a great job!  Thank you!

I had a fantastic experience with Tweedy Plumbing. Jeremy was my plumber. He Showed up on time, wrote me a very honest, detailed estimate, completed the work on time, and the total was not a penny more than the estimate! His work was very clean and professional. I have had a horrible experience with another plumber in the past, and I am happy to say my search for a new one is over, I have found my guy!

I have worked with and hired many a plumber, but not as efficient, skilled, clean and nice as these guys.   Honest, on top of skilled and knowledgeable.    A pleasure to have this quality of plumbing company in Costa Mesa where I have lived for the last 28 years.   What I like the most is the fact that they are prepared with all of the right tools that are needed to do the job and do it fast and clean up after themselves.  Price is reasonable.  Also timely when showing up for appts.

Easy to get a hold of, came out right away, fair price.  Can't beat that!  Will definitely use again.

The plumbers were on time and did a good job replacing my water heater. They were very informative, and cleaned up after their work. I've used them before and had a similar experience. I would recommend them for your plumbing needs.

I owned my home in Costa Mesa for over 10 years and used Tweedy Plumbing on numerous occasions.  The plumbers were always very friendly, respectful and professional.  I never felt like i was being given the run around or being over charged.  They were on time and I never had a problem with any work they did.  I was always very satisfied. Great local family business!

For the past month, I got a pipe humming problem which I tried to fix by bleeding
out the water to get rid of the air pocket and/or tightening the toilet valve to reduce
the water pressure but the humming noise temporary reduced and then make
the same noise again after a few minutes or hours.  I finally gave up and called
Tweedy Plumbing which advertised FREE estimation!  Brett and Kurt came by,
listened to what I had experienced with the problem and suggested it could be
the water pressure being too high or low.  They tested it, increased the water
pressure, and the noise is GONE!  But the best of all is that they did not accept
my payment because they said that they did nothing special except turning a
screw.    I insisted on paying them something but they would not accept.  That
is honesty and a class act to me!  Thanks guys!  I will definitely call you the next

I just had David and Jax here for basic plumbing work. They showed up early, were very professional and dog friendly. They explained all the work as they progressed and let me know the costs before continuing work. As always, there was more to the job (60 year old house) than we expected. They never once were not able to quickly overcome the new obstacles we encountered. I will always call Tweedy for my plumbing needs in the future. Great work Tweedy and your team.

What waste of my time.  Tweedy serviced my fireplace a few years ago and did a good job so I called again for getting my fireplace serviced this time. They sent out a repairman who after fussing for a few minutes admitted he had never serviced a fireplace before. And had no idea how to fix the problem.    I sent him away and never heard a word from tweedy. No call, no apology, no nothing. Tweedy destroyed business from a repeat customer and I'll be sure to share my experience with the homeowners association and my neighbors

I had an issue with my garbage disposal and one of the Tweedy plumbers was not only able to take care of it but also discovered and resolved a problem in my bathroom. Feeling super grateful for the professional and quick resolution. Thank you!

We ran into an emergency drain issue at our facility. The team responded and were on site within 20 minutes. Great service and fairly priced.

About 2 years ago I had Tweedy, my go too plumbers, come out and install a recirculation pump which provided my house with almost instant hot water.  In order to do this, as I have a tagami water heater, they put in a small electric water heater as a starter pump.
Today I thought it had gone out and called them.  They were here within 3 hours and diagnosed the problem, which was a very small issue.
They are always so responsive, clean, funny and fair.

So happy with these guys! Holy smokes! They came right out and found and fixed my gas leak for $225. They responded immediately to my call and were caring and quick. They gave me a full explanation of what they did and I really liked their personality. Happy upbeat guys who really seemed to enjoy helping others! They are my go to plumming company now!!

These are the most wonderful plumbers that we have ever had!! I cannot give them enough stars.  We had our gas turned off due to a leak and had over seven different plumbing companies give us their opinion and estimate on what we needed to have done.  Tweedy was the ONLY company that suggested a simple and effective fix which would be very cost effective.  They explained thoroughly and let us know that if this didn't work, they would have to do a much more complicated invasive procedure.  They also had a very reputable and reliable stone contractor as an associate who came and did the stone removal and replacement.  All done very very quickly, effectively, efficiently and best of all THE LOWEST PRICE OF ALL!!  Brett (one of the owners) was extremely polite, clean, neat and respectful, as was his assistant.  We are now having him install a new hot water heater and do some other miscellaneous plumbing in the house.  The only sad thing was that my next door neighbor, who is a constant problem with anyone I have working on my home, came out and demanded that the helper get off of her property and he was simply one foot onto her front sidewalk getting a bit of shade during the construction.  But, we don't ever let people like that bother us!  SO do yourself a favor and call Tweedy when and if you have any plumbing needs.\

They were fantastic to work with...efficient, honest, professional, and very timely....which can be so rare these days. I so appreciate their interpersonal skills, as well as their stellar work. They were super patient with us through the process, and I have ZERO hesitation to work with them again in the future.

Tweedy Plumbing was quick to reply to an emergency pipe break. They were professional and timely. They drove to several locations to locate a special part for me at no charge. After a minor incident in accidentally damaging something, they promptly replaced it taking on any associated cost.They are true professionals and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a plumber.

Support local business! I've had the pleasure of working with Tweedy Plumbing on several plumbing projects. They are really good people who do really good work. The owner Brett Tweedy has been involved in the Newport Beach surf community since the 70's. You can bump into him having some laughs with the guys over at the Froghouse surf shop, down at blackies by the sea checking out the surf, or down at the Costa Mesa dog park with his golden retriever. If you need plumbing work in Newport Beach or Costa Mesa, support local business by calling Tweedy Plumbing.

This is not your typical plumbing company it is family owned and they are extremely honest and fair. My elderly mother had her kitchen sink back up. We tried to drain it from the main clean out but it was not clearing. She had three different plumbers come to her house and the quotes were from $3000-$11,000. They said they had to rip up her sidewalk and replace the entire line.. The pipe was clay and all broke up they said snd needed to be replaced.  I won't name them but they are household big brand plumbing companies. I called my contractor buddy for his opinion and he told me to call Tweedy before I using the other guys. I did and They came out and used a  camera and saw that  it was only a root problem and fixed the entire job for under $1000. I spoke to the owner he was upfront showed up on time gave the quote did the job did not leave a mess and was super kind and respectful to my mom. I highly recommend Tweedys plumbing.

In my experience, great quality costs money, and any alternative to saving money usually ends with regret. Tweedy Plumbing charges what they charge because they do what they do with superiority. They go above and beyond industry standards. Should we expect anything less?! Tweedy plumbing has been my plumber for a couple of years now and I've used them for many services, in my home and in my business, and never have I had any complaints. Their suggestions for improvements and proper maintenance should be standard protocol for any business. Up-selling has grown to have a negative connotation, so I will avoid those choice of words. This honest-to-good family business has saved me from potential costly catastrophes because of so called up-sells. As a matter of fact, the one time I didn't listen to their expert advise, I paid for it. They don't cost you a lot of money; they're sole aim is to save you a lot of money. They are well established in the Coastal Costa Mesa community, and have been for years. Need I say more? By the way, lots of people on Yelp can say many things of their choosing without interference, so if you want a real evaluation, check their BBB rating. It's excellent, and in my personal opinion, I agree. Don't pick any other company; They won't work as hard for you - I promise!

Tweedy was beyond a joy to work with on a same day visit request in the state streets of Costa Mesa. They provided me a narrow window to arrive over the phone, sent an advance notice text and the team showed up shortly thereafter. They advised on a minor emergency, multiple maintenance requests and let us know what we DID NOT need to do, thus us saving money and hassle. I look forward to calling them in the future, hopefully not for another emergency!

Tweedy has helped us on several occasions.  They are thorough and the crew is always top quality.  They just completed a pretty big job for us cleaning out the drains of an old house and we are very happy with their work.  Another plumbing company had told us we needed to cut walls for Access but Tweedy did the job with no breaking through walls.  Very happy :)

I called Tweedy this morning and they were over in the afternoon and fixed my kitchen drain. They called 30 minutes in advance to let me know they were on their way.

Great Service

One word to sum up this company: FABULOUS!  We had a gas leak and our gas service was turned off at 9:00 pm on Thursday.  I called Tweedy Plumbing at 9:01 PM  and left a message to call.  First thing in the morning we received a return call. We made an appointment for 2:00.  Von showed up at 2:15; however, at 1:45 we received a call that he would be about 15-minutes late as he was tied up at another job. At 2:15, Von shows up-- just as promised.  He did the inspection and said he could do the work that afternoon -- thank heavens!  He dug up and removed a big gross hedge-thing and hauled it away.  He then replaced the old corroded pipe(s) and installed a shiny new something (plumbing isn't my forte)  with a yellow handle so any fool (me) can turn off the gas during an emergency.  Thank you, thank you Tweedy!  If you are looking for a dependable plumber with excellent customer service skills and competitive pricing, look no further than Tweedy's.

I have used Tweedy a number of times and they consistently do a magnificent job. They are fast, clean, reliable and very thorough. I would hesitate to call any other plumber after using Tweedy.

Awesome !!! I'm not their friend. I'm a new loyal customer who uses their service as a main company for our plumbing issues over others.
Why? :

- punctual : they come very quickly, show up and keep the promising time (they'll give you estimated 2hr range). They call you 15 minutes before they are on the site. Very important to me because I don't have time for flake people and I love to plan things ahead and execute the tasks as the plan.

- fast: many companies don't have a fast response time. They call back quickly! And they do their job so fast! Great.

- reliable: they keep their promises. Many companies do no show, or cancel without giving us heads up like Old Towne Plumbing. We used to use them but I'm so sick and tired of their unreliable service. I don't care your family nor client issue. I made a time for the appointment, so you should respect my time! I fed up with those flake people. So I found them so that I can have a better service and no longer use Old Towne plumbing!!
Now I do know I got a great plumber I can count on!

- Service : pluming and water heater etc. honest and very friendly! They tell you whether if you need the service or not instead of pushing you more service you don't need. The staff are very friendly.

- Hours: Not 24/7, but they got the company who does that for them! Im ok with that.

- pricing: I got quotes from so many companies and no one can beat the price (and service!!)! Way cheaper than others. I did research tons, so you can count on me.

It's really hard to find a good company like this because we customers really don't know what they do. I'm super happy I could find them. Easy 5 Stars! I will no longer worry about any plumbing issue from now on because they will fix it in a sec!

Great experience with Tweedy.  Emmet was my plumber.  I'd had some work done on my house the day before, and the gas was turned off, which caused the water heater to stop working.  After the contractors doing the work couldn't get it back on, Emmet was here within an hour.  Turns out it was a simple fix (we don't have a self igniting water heater, so just needed to relight it), and they didn't even charge me.  Emmet was super knowledgeable about water heaters and we need to replace ours soon, and I will definitely be using Tweedy when I do it!

We had a leak Inside the bathroom wall in our home. The walls were wet and needed to get someone out ASAP. We called Tweedy who was recommended by a the owner of the home and they were able to respond the same day and repair the leak. The plumber was polite, friendly and explained everything he was doing. Great experience.

David did an absolutely great job of fixing a sink clog that had been bugging us on and off for a few months.  He was efficient, handled things well and corrected the problem.  He also explained some of the potential issues we might face in the future and how to check if we have a problem.  Definitely recommend them in the Newport Beach area.  They are close by and were very easy to get a hold of and book an appointment.

These guys are as professional and top notch as they come! I moved into a new house with some roommates and we were having issues with clogged pipes. Vaughn came out and found out what the problem was and promptly fixed all the damage and blockage. Vaughn and his partner were extremely polite and helpful. I love family owned businesses as their employees usually reflect the values of the pleasant family that runs the business.

Tweedy Plumbing is the best! They are so responsive and are always able to fix any plumbing issues we have. I recommend Tweedy to everyone. I have used other plumbers in the past who do a subpar job and charge a ton of money. Tweedy always takes care of everything and their pricing is extremely reasonable.

I just moved into my new place and had some issues with the dishwasher.  The water wasn't draining out and even though I've only used it once, water kept filling up and pooling in the bottom.  My real estate agent recommended Tweedy.  I called them today at 2pm, the guy on the phone was extremely helpful and professional.  Johnny was out to my house within the promised 20-30 minutes (on a Saturday!).  He checked things out and helped me with another small request.  The dishwasher ran and drained - of course it did! - and Johnny told me that today was free of charge.  Wow!  These guys are wonderful.  They couldn't have been nicer nor more efficient.  Thanks so much!  I love keeping my business local to Costa Mesa and am always happy when I can write a great review for a neighborhood business.

I know Tweedy , They do awesome work . I like them so much I keep there card in my wallet and their sticker on my truck. When I am out and about and someone needs a plumber , I give them Tweedy's number . They wont lie to you about a job . Everyone I know says tweedy is fair priced and gets the job done right .

Waste of money on Service that wasn't even needed to get done and on top of that the caulking they made around the kitchen sink area didn't last at all. But times they came out they didn't even check nor confirmed there wasn't a leak anymore.  Just got up and left . Very expensive and not worth it to.me. Their quick to respond if ur in the area though..same day ...within hours service. That's the only good thing.  Now if they could improvise their service by 75% at least LOL...

The service from Tweedy was excellent. They were out to fix a clogged drain within 2 hours of contacting them. The service technicians were courteousy and professional. They diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly and were on their way. Very please with the service.

Today I used Tweedy Plumbing for the 3rd time in 6 years. Every time they have come out, their staff were very polite and extremely professional. Very consistent experience.

Lets just say when a plumber puts on booties, you know that they are professional.

Anyhow, this visit was for a potential slab leak, which can be scary. Think $$$$, yep. It is what it is, there is just no way around it unfortunately.

So I knew that it would most likely cost $350 to diagnose properly, and I was fine with that. However I was surprised in all they have to do to earn that $350. The time they were here they had to cut into 2 inside walls, and 2 garage walls. Then they had to cap some pipes. After all that I was sure the bill would be higher, but they stuck to the $350.

In fact, they stopped the leak. Of course we are now without cold water in 1 sink, but its doable until we can get the pipe replaced.

All is back to normal now. Took a total of 3 hours from the time I called for help, and the problem was solved.

We have used Tweedy Plumbing for 6 years. For both our homes in Newport Beach. I love them! I wouldn't use anyone else and always refer my friends to them. They are polite, friendly, clean ( always use shoe covers),honest and do a great job. They come on time and always call ahead. I feel lucky to have such a great company that I can count on. Once we had a slab leak and they found a way to go through the walls and save our marble flooring! Great company.

Excellent and prompt service. I couldn't repair the kitchen faucet and gave up. I called Tweedy and they came onto the house right away. They are a bit expensive compared to other plumbers I've hired in the past, but the plumber was professional and did a great job.

Their plumber came out and gave me my free estimate. I scheduled an appointment as instructed. I explained that I had nothing in writing on the price, she replied it wasn't a problem because they send the same guy to do the work. Took time off work to meet the plumber - they sent a different guy. This guy explains that the other underbid the job as usual, he leaves - leaving my door open. I call the office. The same gal claims there was a misunderstanding on the price, so they won't honor the bid. She wants me to take more time off work and schedule another appointment at a higher price.  FYI I am a general contractor so I speak the language. There was no misunderstanding. These are the type of contractors that give us all a bad name. Stay away!

These guys are great, dependable and very professional.  I had some emergency work that needed to be done quickly and they took care of it efficiently with urgency.  I am very pleased with their customer focused approach and will be looking to them for my future needs.  It's also a great plus that this is a local and family run business.

Last week Michael & Tim fixed my plumbing & they did a phenomenal job! I'm very satisfied. They arrived on time & they were clean & knowledgeable about plumbing. My pipes are 60 years old & now they feel brand new. They fixed my second floor leak & cleared my shower's drain perfectly. They came for the pipes, but my shower sprayer leaked & they fixed it without charging me. It was very kind. It was a very enjoyable experience. I definitely recommend them.

We never had anyone come out from Tweedy as their phone person is so incredibly rude, it was actually hostile. Not sure why. All the call involved was my covering the issue we were having with a prior rough-in and scratch job done by our GC. It is unclear if the work has been done wrong- in not one but all three of our showers no less.

I said that I'd like have someone come out to make their own assessment before I get too detailed in what may or may not be a problem. I don't wish to cloud or bias the matter.

Unclear why but I received this terse response, Don't take this personal, but we don't care what you think. We will look at it and figure it out ourselves.

I shrugged it off by just saying, Well, I'm glad you said it's not personal. To which, I got yet another unpleasant remark, Yeah, I'm just keeping it real.

Tech arrived quickly, wearing a mask and solved my first plumbing issue within first 5 minutes. The second issue was a bit more complicated (from my perspective) but Michael the tech, listened to me, then clearly explained my options for repair. The landlord will make final decision but they were so professional we will call Tweedy to do the job.
