The Plumbing Therapist

I was going to hire The Plumbing Therapist for some plumbing work around our house at first (I'm so glad that I didn't. I found a better one. see my other review). Before I finalize the scheduling, I requested some changes and asked for an updated quote. I first left a voice message, which I got a return call two days later. I told the lady on the phone to call me an hour later, and she called back 4 hrs later. She then told me that she will need to call me back with an updated info but never bothered to called me back. After all, things turned out better since I found an excellent plumber, which will be my go-to person from now on when it comes to plumbing. ;)

Thank you so much  Bonnie and Mike!  I had no water running before going to bed because my water softener broke and clogged my plumbing.  I went to bed totally stressed about this sudden situation. Thanks to Bonnie's advertising on social media, I knew who to call.  Mike helped me bypass the water heater and unclog my plumbing the very next morning.  I cannot thank both of you enough.  The rest of my day could have been much more stressful if it was not for the prompt response.  Thanks to the both of you again!!!

This company has been performing my plumbing services for years.  The customer service and job performance is awesome, they have installed 2 high efficient tankless water heater for me at 2 different properties without any issues.  Thank you so much for the excellent work.

I can't say enough good things about Mike and Bonnie. We've had Mike out installing 3 toilets, mini-faucet in the kitchen sink and I don't know what else. I had a Grohe bathroom faucet go out. Those are guaranteed for life but it can be a hassle getting a replacement or the parts for free. Mike and Bonnie worked with them.

It took a while but persistence paid off and TPT didn't charge me anything for the return trip for that item. They saved me a considerable amount on the fixtures and their labor rate was very reasonable.

Great crew and the humorous name is also a minor positive. I won't call anyone else.

This company came highly recommended and was my third attempt at finding a plumber who could fix a State Select water heater.  Bonnie, who returned my voicemail within 5 minutes was sympathetic I hadn't had hot water in nearly 3 days. Mike showed up at my door shortly after and finally fixed an igniter that had previously been replaced by another company months prior for a third of the price the former company charged. I take comfort knowing there are still businesses out there who know what they're doing and don't gouge me for my lack of knowledge in plumbing.  I too highly recommend this company and will absolutely use them in the future. These folks came through for us when we were in a major bind, after a different plumber left us in a lurch. They came out to fix our problem the same day,
for a reasonable price. I also called them recently about a garbage disposal that didn't work, and rather than charging me to send someone out they let me know it was likely an electrical issue that I could fix myself. They've been responsive, reliable and reasonably priced!

They were hired to complete the first rough plumbing for in addition. They arrived in 3 brand new trucks with six workers. It was difficult to communicate with them since only two could speak English. Only one of the six worked on installing the pipe  while one handed him material. The other four did absolutely nothing during the ten hours they were there. I agree to dig the trench since they wanted to charge me almost $3000. During the installation, they said the trench wasn't deep enough and ask me to dig it deeper which I did without hesitation. As I'm deepening the trench non of the four workers standing there offered to help. To me, it was insulting to see four guys doing nothing while they watched me work. I pulled the owner aside  and he basically said he would rather pay these guys to do nothing than help me.  His response was, we gave you a big discount, so they shouldn't have to help. He took the charge for digging the trench off the estimate since I was doing the work which is notba discount. I explained how insulting it is to see how workers standing there rather than jumping in to help me. At minimum I told him to have them sit in the truck but it went on deaf ears. They completed the work and I paid them in full.

The next day, the work was inspected by the city and it failed since half the piping was not properly vented.
They came back and corrected the problem but complained about the inspector. The next the the inspector came and said the cap they used was a temporary cap and that cannot be buried and itvneeded a full cap. Rather than failing the inspection, the inspector agreed to pass it, provided the temp cap was cut out and replaced with a full cap.

Clearly, these so-called plumbers do not understand how venting works or what is required by code.

I explained the cap issue with the owner who said I would have to go buy a cap bring it to the house and then he would install it. I couldn't believe he was asking me to go get a $2 cap rather than just bringing one when they came, especially due to their many failures. I gave him a choice, either bring and install the cap and install it or I would do so but would also make sure I told this story. So here we are.

These guys are clearly handy men trying to do more than they are capable of doing. You can decide from here if you want to hire Plumbing Therapist.

Good service. They gave us a free estimate and came later. Prices are reasonable and the expertise is superb. Mike is very knowledgable and was very friendly.  He really made us feel at ease with dedication to his work. The only reason why I give 4 stars is that Every time I called, I got a voice mail.  No big deal, but response time was slow and I had to call again, but this maybe because they are busy. Nevertheless, the service provided made it up.

We called The Plumbing Therapist for an odd horn blowing noise from what we thought was the pipe leading from our downstairs guest bathroom toilet. They responded right before 8pm on a Tuesday (June 7th). I immediately told the guy (forgot his name) the problem and I flushed the toilet which would normally trigger the noise immediately upon flushing. It, of course, did not make the noise. But he understood and explained the noise to me. He suggested we change one of the parts (I forget what it was called) in the tank. He left after giving the advice without charging us anything. Most places charge a minimum $69 just for showing up at your house so it was very refreshing to do business with a company that won't charge you if there's basically nothing for them to do except show up, listen, and give advice (a 5 minute visit, if even that). Thank you, The Plumbing Therapist. We will definitely call you again if we need plumbing service.

I have used The Plumbing Therapist apprx. (5) times for large and small projects.  Mike, the owner,  always has a smile on his face even when he installed a gas line in my attic and it was well above 110 degrees up there.  Mike recently installed a (50)' main water line from the street to my home UNDER a newly landscaped front yard.  The yard appeared untouched when he finished.  Mike always completes the job no matter how many curves are thrown at him.  Smaller jobs included a toilet seal replacement and gas line leak repair at my pool pump.  I've been a homowner for (30) plus years and have used many plumbers,  Mike at TPT is my 1st and only call for a plumber even if I have to wait for him to become available.   Last, but not least, Bonnie, who runs the office has kept me informed of scheduling issues and even calls at 8:00PM to keep me informed.

All I can say is amazing! They go above and beyond with their customer service. They do excellent work every time. I highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs.

TPT's Mike is great! Very professional and honest. My shower faucet was having problem yesterday. I was having panic since water could not be shut off due to handle got loose. Mike arrived the same afternoon and diagnosed the problem quickly, accurately and fixed it in no time. What's even more amazing was he said there was no charge. Very pleasantly surprised by this. In this is day and age I'm amazed that you can still find very honest professional like Mike. I highly recommend their service to anyone in need of repair.

We had an emergency leak within our wall on the second floor.  The representative was out here within half hour and took care of the leak at a very reasonable price.   We were so very appreciative.

I had a very positive experience from this business. Very knowledgeable, honest, accessible, and professional. I had leaking issue from my dishwasher so they came out and fixed the valve underneath the sink and unclogged all the gunk in the pipe that connects the dishwasher to the sink and garbage disposal. Before he came, turned off the water heater to stop the bleeding.
I didn't know how to turn on the water heater the next day so he came by past midnight at no charge to show me how to do that. I was blown away by how he treats his customers! If you have any plumbing issues, don't look else where, call Mike from Plumbing therapist.

Excellent service. Had my bathtub serviced on Sunday, December 29. The gentleman was on time, very friendly and knowledgeable. Had my bathtub unclogged within minutes and gave my husband some advice on changing out some other pipes under the house.

Only charged $85.

If you don't use The Plumbing Therapist, you're making a mistake.  That is the short and sweet of this review.  I have two houses and over the last 5 years have used them on a variety of jobs.  They replaced like 60 ft of my sewer main in the front yard about 2 years back.  They did a water heater install and set a toilet in their most recent visit.  Earlier this year I had a slab leak which I thought was going to be a nightmare.  They referred me to a company to find the leak and then came out to do the repair; they made it look easy. :)

Bottom line is they do high quality work at reasonable prices.  It is few and far between that you see that.  If you need something done, even if you have to wait a day or two for their schedule to free up, it will be worth the wait.  I'll use them on all my plumbing related projects until the end of time.

I live in Elk Grove & read most of the positive feedback regarding this company.  I had called to get an estimate for our home & was told I would get a call back.  A few days had passed, so I called again & was again told I would get a call back.  I never did get that call.  I really try to work with local companies within Elk Grove, but this experience had us contracting the work from outside of Elk Grove.
I wish this company well, but a follow up call back from the receptionist would have been nice.

I had my Rheem tankless water heater quit working and called my Home warranty company and they sent these folks out. Thank goodness!

The technician arrived when he was supposed to, knew exactly what to check and was able to determine the controller board was defective. He had a new one shipped out ASAP and was out again on time to install the new board.

I have nothing but admiration on the way they conduct their business. They need to replace 2 leaking faucets for hot and cold water on my washer. Replace 2 leaking faucets with back-up valve in the front yard  and backyard.

They came out right away to fix an issue, they were communicative and helpful, and they charged a very reasonable (way lower than previous plumbers) amount. They said they'd be there at 8:00am and they were, then we're gone an hour later having fixed everything. I am done looking for other plumbers, they were perfect.

This company rocks! So I have 3 little kids, who knows what the hell they did to my toilet, but it stopped working. After reading some reviews, I thought I'd call The Plumbing Therapist. If there is such a thing as a Plumbing Angel it would be Mike!!! He showed up right on time, and went right to work. He fixed our toilet in literally 10 minutes. No more running water, it flushed the way it's supposed to. and let me add, he actually tightened our toilet seat so it didn't move around. If you thought that's where the story ended, guess again. My wife mentioned to Mike that our dish washer wasn't draining properly, so you know what he then proceeds to do? He fixes our dishwasher! With no extra charge! Mike is a stand up guy, who has customer service skills that are hard to come by in this day and age. Do yourself a favor, call this company for all your plumbing needs. They go above and beyond the call of duty.

Had them out for a bathroom remodel (re-plumb shower waste, vent, and supply). They arrived just as promised during the scheduled window for both the estimate and the actual job. They didn't leave me waiting either time. During the estimate appointment, the guy (Bryan) was frank with me about what I did and did not need. It was more consultative rather than focused on trying to sell me on the job. The price was competitive without being too high or too low (always leery of somebody too high or too low). When I called and told them I wanted them to do the job, they made the return appt very promptly. I'm a DIY'er and could have done it myself but I didn't want to crawl around under the house. I know enough though to see that the quality of the work is great, and the guy was considerate and polite. The job took exactly the amount of time he said it would, within minutes. Overall I am completely impressed.

Highly recommend!  We have used The Plumbing Therapist twice now and have been very happy.  The first time, something was dropped down the toilet and clogged it.  TPT came out, worked on it, & could not clear it.  We ended up changing out the entire toilet.  We searched around & found that TPT gave us the best bid.  Job was completed by TPT!  The second time was when our water heater wouldn't stay lit.  Worked with Bonnie for all of our appointments and Mike came out to fix.  Job done and again, we very happy with them.  Customer service is great.  They come quickly.  No long waits for appointments and prices are very reasonable.  Great service!!!

I met with Mike about a year ago when we first bought our house. It was built in the '60's, so it was in need of some repairs.

Our immediate need was due to a blockage of tree roots and a broken sewer pipe leading out to the main at the street. They worked very hard doing dirty/nasty work to dig out and replace our main line that was several feet deep. That work was over $1,000 and I was happy to pay it to have our toilets working again.

When Mike was out, we talked about future projects - replacing a garage sink, water heater and running new PEX lines to replace the over 60-year-old galvanized pipes. He gave me some rough figures to do the work.

Fast forward several months, and we're ready to do the next phase of work. I've called, left messages, etc. like several of the people on here who're also leaving low ratings. But I don't get a call back to do the work and have had to hire other plumbers.

TL:DR; TPT does good work and are nice people, but they apparently have more work than they can handle.

All I can say is Wow - Fast arrival - and incredible customer service. Honest people, very knowledgeable and I've now found my #1 plumber.  Thanks yelpers for another great recommendation!

Great plumber.   I've used them a few times and they have been very prompt, knowledgeable and courteous. .  They also are fairly reasonable,,  as far as plumbers go....  I will definitely call them if or should I say when I need a plumber in the future.   I highly recommend them. .

I placed a claim through the property's home warranty service and received confirmation that the Plumbing Therapist would be the contractor to contact me for the service work.  I waited the standard 48 hour window and was never contacted by anyone from this company.  I called them to see when the service would be processed and I was not helped by the lady who answered my call.  She had no idea what was going on, could not write down the home address correctly, she seemed flustered by a simple phone call and proceeded to tell me that she would call me back once she figured out what was going on.  I waited another 2 days and called back to see once again when service would be scheduled.  No answer this time, so I left a message.  No one called me back so I sent an e-mail to the Plumbing Therapist.  It has been 5 days since this e-mail was sent and no one has contacted me to this date.  I had to call the home warranty company to see if they could assign a different contractor to my file.  I have now lost 2 weeks to where my tenants still do not have a working garbage disposal.  I do NOT recommend this company!

We needed a valve fixed for our water heater and The Plumbing Therapist was able to send Mike out to us the same day. He was able to swap out the bad valve quickly and they did it for much less then any of the other quotes. Really great company with very friendly technicians.

Excellent service.  I called on Wednesday and was told the earliest appointment was between 5:00 and 8:00pm on Friday.  Mike arrived before 6:00 pm.  He replaced the cartridge in the kitchen faucet, which I had already purchased from the maker of the Faucet (KWC/Swiss) and then tightened the hose connections to the faucet which had come loose and were leaking.
The charge was $118.00 labor.  I'm not sure what the going rate is since this was my first need to hire a plumber.  The faucet works great and there is no leak.  I'm happy.

Don't use this company.  They can't even empty their voicemail inbox.  I was assigned this plumber by my home warranty company, and never received a call from the Therapist.  I called them, and couldn't leave a message.  The home warranty company had to hunt them down, and when she did finally call me it was two days later.

I've used The Plumbing Therapist for a couple of repairs, and I highly recommend them.  Mike does great work, and I have never been overcharged. They're honest and dependable people.

I called TPT on a Friday am for  a shower leaking/no pressure problem. I left a msg & was called back immediately, a very helpful woman made an appt  for  less than 2 hours later. Two fellows showed up in a van with tools & ready to go, they were both very personable, funny & kind. It turns out that there s WAY to much sediment built up & I need to re-caulk everything.  They even checked under the house to make sure there was no water under my home. I appreciate their honesty & great  service! I will DEFINITELY call them for any plumbing needs in the future! Thx again TPT!

These folks know what service is about. I never felt they were just after my money. They were helpful, office staff called the manufacturer to determine if my water heater was still under warranty. While they are not affiliated with the manufacturer for warranty work they still did the work and took care of all the warranty paperwork.

Recommended by someone in my Elk Grove Facebook group. I called and left a message stating the work I needed done. Left my name and phone number at the beginning AND end of the message. My call was never returned. Therefore, my 1 star rating is not based on the work or the plumbers but that either their customer service is awful, or they aren't accepting new business. They may be fantastic, but I wouldn't know.

They are the only plumbing service I will use. Literally. Mike came on his day off because we didn't have a working sink. Spent a couple hours, did a fantastic job and even gave me some insights and tips about some other projects I've been working on. Mike saved me hundreds of dollars!

I couldn't be happier with this service. I absolutely recommend them for honest and quality work.

I had the plumbing therapist come out to fix a two showers in my home with separate problems. When I first called for the appointment, the receptionist was snippy with me when she asked me what the problem was so that we could make the appointment. Her was less than pleasant attitude almost changed my mind on having this company come out, but I figured I'd give them the benefit of the doubt with how high their Yelp ratings were.

To resolve the issues, it ended up taking three trips total. On the first trip Mike came and evaluated the problem, made a change in the stand alone shower and then recommended replacing the same part in both showers. He didn't have the part on him, so he said that they would be calling me to set an appointment for tomorrow to fix it. When I got the call, this rep was much nicer, but the appointment couldn't be set until a few days later.

On Mikes second trip to my home, he replaced both the parts in my showers. The odd thing was that whatever he had done to the stand up shower on his first trip solved it's issue so I was skeptical about the part needing to be replaced. The next day after he put in both parts in I noticed that now both showers were leaking (where as before the stand alone shower wasn't leaking, it had a different issue). I called the Plumbing Therapist back up to have them come out and fix it, but they weren't able to until the following week.

When Mike came out the final time, he replaced both the parts again and everything seems to be good now. My interactions with Mike were always great, but when talking to the reps over the phone I seemed to get attitude half of the time. The pricing is hard to beat with these guys, only charged for the repair itself and not the diagnosis. Many of the other companies I called for quotes wanted to charge me just to come out and take a look and then again for labor/parts to fix the problem.

Overall not a bad company, but I guess you pay what you get for in the end.

Mike Denico is amazing. I own two group homes and he is my go to when I have any plumbing issues.

Mike has been my plumber for nearly 9 years. Shame on me for not getting this review written sooner! After he came out today and improved my toilet's flush so I could avoid buying a new one, I decided it was high time to write.

I feel like I struck gold after I found Mike on Angie's List in 2012. While in escrow, I asked him to check the condition of the sewer pipe under the house. He was able to show me with a camera that it was in good shape. Since then, he has installed a whole house water filter system, new copper pipes, new shower heads and a new bathroom faucet. He recently replaced the 2 large filters on my water system and installed a new hot water heater. While working under the house years ago, he heard a slow leak coming from one of the bathrooms. Who knows how much that repair would have cost years later? Thank heavens he heard it! And when my car wouldn't start after I walked my dog by the river while he was at lunch, he came and got us both home! That was no easy task. I'm a senior and his help was priceless.

Excellent service... I've been using the same plumber for years, I recently had a problem getting the water to turn off in my upstairs shower.  I called my regular plumber, he said he would send one of his guys out. $135 latter his guy got it down to a slow leak. He stated the only way to fix the problem was to cut into the wall to correctly repair it. The estimate was approximately $600. I agreed to the repair and set an appointment.  The day of the appointment they were a no show. I started looking for someone to come out. I found TPT, Mike came out that evening. He diagnosed the problem within a few minutes. He did not have to cut into the wall. The repair was $90. I couldn't be happier...

We had a slight disaster regarding a backed up sewer line that erupted raw sewage out of my driveway, across the sidewalk and into the street! After calling a few other places that were unable to provide an estimate or give me an appointment this week I called Mike The Plumbing Therapist. He was at my house within an hour and informed me that he could fix it (reasonably) but rather than take my money he saved me a bundle by being hones and informing me that the sewer district would handle it for free. I appreciate his honesty and my bank account does too.Next time we need a plumber we will definitely be calling Mike back.

Wow. I will use this company EVERY time I need a plumber & i will HIGHLY recommend them to everyone. Let me start by saying, prior to this... I've never had a good experience with a plumber. I usually go through my home warranty and they send out the shadiest characters who somehow fail to fix the problem in multiple tries and place blame on other aspects.. whatever, just bad experiences. I first called at 10 pm on a Friday night, Bonnie called me right back & was willing to help me figure out how to deescalate the problem in order to get a plumber here with minimal damage. She got me scheduled for someone to come out. Mike, was that someone. Mike is the most honest & knowledgeable plumber I have met! His service is outstanding, this company is the best. Thank you, for taking care of your community and customers. You never know what someone is going through and sometimes a little human kindness goes such a long way. Our family is going through one of the toughest hurdles and The Plumbing Therapist quickly and simply removed an obstacle that was easily overwhelming for us. 5 Star Service, 5 Star Repair, 5 Star Diagnostics, 5 Star Everything... seriously.

I live out of state and my 85-year-old mom called one day to say she had a leak in her bathroom. Upon calling another plumbing company in the area, she was quoted a cost of $4,000-$8,000 to repair the leak. This was outrageous and, as it turned out, completely unnecessary. I proceeded to call The Plumbing Therapist and, not only was their response swift, they also completed the repair within a few hours at a cost of only $175. Thank you so much for acting with honesty and integrity. You will always be the first plumber we call in the future and, rest assured, you will be highly recommended to all my mom's friends and neighbors. You're the best!!!

We had a slow leak in my wall that seemed to be at least a few years old. I'm a contractor (a finish carpenter) and I'm busy. I needed someone to come in and get this done right, ASAP. We were referred to these guys by a friend who had used them in the past. Communication was very easy and consistent. They showed up when they said they would and got the job done correctly, for a reasonable price. I have absolute faith in their work and would recommend them to anyone.

We needed a water heater, and we were very pleased that we used Plumbing Therapist. AMike came when he said he would, he knew what he was doing, and he left a clean area when he left. The price was also less than we expected. I'm glad I did not try to do it myself.

We setup initial appointment by phone and then we shared further information by texting. It was very convenient!

Mike showed up at our house on time and got to work to solve our plumbing mysteries. He was very knowledgeable about each of the several plumbing issue we presented to him. He helped us formulate a plan with an estimate to complete the work.

I chose The Plumbing Therapist because of the great reviews in Yelp. And now I'm adding another great review. Mike arrived within the time stated and replaced the shower cartridge quickly. Very pleasant guy. Good customer service and reasonably priced. I will be calling this company again in the near future to replace my bathroom faucets.

Mike and Bonnie are busy. Sometimes they cannot get RIGHT out to a job or call back, but my experience is within a reasonable time they do get back to you and fix the issues. Always good communication with me over 3 jobs, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Absolutely amazing service. I called them LATE Thursday afternoon and my plumbing issues were resolved by early Monday evening. I spoke to Bonnie on the phone and Mike was able to come out to my house late Thursday. We went over a quote and the ball was rolling. He was here today before 5 (my window was 4 and 5). Super nice and very professional. He didn't mind my son watching him work either which is always a plus. Any other plumbing problems, they will be the 1st and only call I'll need to make. Easy to deal with. They listened to what I had to say and got the tech (Mike) to my place quickly. They also didn't try any stupid plumber tricks, like trying to make the problem seem bigger than it really was. I'm generally very wary of most plumbers, but these folks I trust.

I was originally quite suspicious when I saw a whole line-up of five-star reviews for this business. You never know if the reviews are from real people, but I went ahead and made an appointment anyway because their prices were more reasonable than other places I had called and another company that's not a direct competitor but is in the same line of business spoke highly of them. On top of that, my water heater had not been working properly for several days and I was desperate to get some hot water as soon as possible.

The Plumbing Therapist came out and did the trick. Brian showed up within the specified time frame, quickly took care of the problem and charged me the amount his people said they would on the phone. Additionally, he offered some helpful advice on how to keep my water heater in better shape in the future.

Definitely plan to use these guys again in the future.

We had him come out for a simple toilet fix and then later to install a new water heater. He is professional and knows his craft.  We will definitely call him again if we need more plumbing work.

I have called them for help twice already and have been so appreciative of their quick response to schedule an appt as well as their resolution to both of the problems. The first was fixing a shower which only ran cold water at a decent pressure, and the 2nd was to fix a leak from our refrigerator water line. We had a wonderful experience having Mike install our water heater.  The receptionist was responsive.  They are a busy family business but they answer calls and schedule free estimates promptly.  The price quoted was the price that we paid.  Mike was very thorough.  The final product speaks for itself.  His price beats the prices of other ones that we had quoted.  It's hard to find a trustworthy and dependable plumber nowadays.  We are so glad to have found The Plumbing Therapist and will definitely recommend them to our friends.   and family.

These guys are simply THE BEST! I'm not one to go throwing 5 Stars around, without justification. This is my second time interacting with The Plumbing Therapist, on both occasions (two years apart) I needed a Plumber ASAP, both times The Plumbing Therapist's (Mike & Bonney) came to the rescue!
- efficient: no phone tag; they answer promptly & get the ball rolling quickly.
- timely: on time both physically & when there is a need for them to get back to you.
- forward thinking: held next available appt for me, just in case the water heater needed to be replaced (& it did)
- honesty & integrity: two years ago (also water heater issue, different water heater.. we have 3), Mike could have easily told me it needed replacing, I'd not have known better, especially given age of unit. Turned out to be much easier, less costly repair.
I'd have gone to a big box store (which I hate to purchase unit). Mike made the entire process simple and seamless. Hats Off to The Plumbing Therapist for ANOTHER job WELL DONE!

Called for an appointment for a problem I've had for months with a shower head leaking. Previously paid a plumber over $500 and spend lots of time home from work while he attempted to repair the same problem. The plumbing therapist came to the first appointment and the technician was here about 15 mins , diagnosed my issue. Quoted me. Returned a couple days later when the part arrived , installed and was in an out in 30 mins. No more leak!! The best part is they were so pleasant to work with and charged me less than half the price the person did who never fixed my issue. I was told my entire wall needed to be ripped out to repair it and The Plumbing Therapist fixed my issue for $180. WOW!! I will defiantly use them from now on. Thanks guys.

Called and left a voice message that my bathroom sink was leaking at around 5pm. Bonnie called me back within twenty minutes and had a Plumber at my home before 7pm. The guy fixed my leak quickly and competently for a reasonable price. Highly recommend these folks!

I have had to call Mike for issues about 6 or 7 times. About 3 of these turned out not to be plumbing problems and Mike never charged me a service call!! Who does that anymore? One time I called him about a problem. He said he could come over after he was done with another job but it would be about midnight when he was done, and would that be ok? I said yes and he was here, spot on at midnight!!  That was one of the times that it was not a plumbing issue but a well issue, and he did not charge me a service call. This review is long overdue but I want him to know that I appreciate his work ethic, which is lacking in so many contractors today.

Have used The Plumbing Therapist twice. The plumber who came to our house (Mike) was very helpful and went above and beyond to help with the project I needed to have done (switching out old gold bathroom fixtures). I was given several options for how to proceed with repairs without any sales push or pressure. Great job and highly recommend.

About all I can say is wow.  Live in an older house in downtown Sacramento.  As one can imagine, older houses can create maintenance issues.  My drains always have been a bit of a problem in terms of slow drainage. I am a halfway competent handyman, and have tried to address this problem in the past without luck and had another plummer out maybe a year ago.  Had heard nothing but good things about Mike so decided to give him a try.  And glad I did.  Things are so so so much better now.  Clearly he knows his craft and work seems pretty detailed.  Cost was extremely reasonable.  Am one satisfied customer and absolutely recommend The Plumbing Therapist to anyone!!  Thanks Mike.

I was in need of plumber very badly . I was not getting hot water to one bathroom in my house. I called out several plumbers. The first one said I needed a new water heater for $2000.00. The second one said I needed a to go Tankless for $5000.00.
So when I called Flowrite Plumbing I explained to them it was not my water heater. Penny said lets schedule you a call and lets have the tech come out and figure out what is really going on. When Jimmy arrive I was prepared to hear the worst. To my surprise he said I can fix it in 20 min for $95.00. I said NO way DO IT . Sure enough it is fixed and only $95.00. It so nice to have a trusted and experience plumbers. I will look no more Flowrite Plumbing your my plumber.

These guys are amazing!  Gave us the best quote for moving our W/D, upgrading to a tankless water heater and converting our stove to gas.  Communication was a bit of a challenge, as their mailbox is often full, but some things are worth the extra effort.  Mike was delayed due to a car accident but went out of the way to come on a Sunday and worked with his partner for 13 hours to complete the job......... and went above and beyond to clean up including spraying down the patio.

These guys are great and and worth the wait.  Wouldn't hesitate to use them again or refer them.

Excellent service at a cost that is very affordable.  Mike repaired several issues in short order and was very good at explaining the issue, repairs and preventative maintenance. I had a wonderful experience and recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing repairs.  He worked tirelessly to complete the job and came back late the same evening to finish because he had other customer commitments and wanted to finish my job!!!!  Excellent service!!!!

I gave TPT 5 stars based on the repair job and the customer service. The appointment was a little less than a week out and the job cost a few bucks more than I originally wanted to pay.
The job was done correctly and very efficiently. I received a confirmation call and a 20 mins out call. Very professional service here.

This guy knows his stuff! He was super busy the week we called but he managed to fit us in because we weren't picky about him showing up late. Charged us a very good price. We would have gladly paid more. Highly recommended!
