Ray came to check out our shower and bathroom faucets that needed to be replaced quickly. He gave an estimate that matched what we ended up paying. He had a corporate job lined up after us, but even with us having some funky piping/stuff that took a lot of time and made the installation process go longer than expected, he finished everything, tested it multiple times, and it has been perfect since! We'll definitely call Ray for future plumbing projects

We were in a panic. Everything was backing up into the shower so we couldn't use any of our toilets and to make matters worse we have to sell our house and expected people to look walk through our home in just hours during Open House. Another plumber said he would be here but showed up a day late and couldn't fix the problem. Ray showed up on time and fixed the entire problem. You might get a slightly lower quote from another plumber but do you really want to rely on someone who shows up a day late and then doesn't even know what they're doing? I highly recommend Ray and would use him again in a heart beat. He's the best!

Fast, professional, personable service with very high quality results. This is my experience with Ray's Plumbing in Crestline.

Early this Saturday morning and hopped into the shower, I was unpleasantly awoken by a very cold shower. No hot water! I went downstairs to the hot water heater & found a leak. This is not how I expected by Saturday to roll.

I began looking for a local plumber with a good reputation online and found Ray's Plumbing. I'm so glad I did.

We called 909.501.2593 and Ray answered the phone. It's so refreshing to not deal with voice mail, etc. Ray listened intently as we described the problem, asked about the heater size and manufacturer. Ray provided a fair, fixed, price and scheduled the service later on Saturday. I felt relieved and appreciated the rapid response and simplicity.

Very soon after, Gilbert & Charlie arrived at our house in a bright blue Ray's Plumbing truck. They removed the old water heater (a challenge since we live on a steep hill), installed the new water heater, fixed an out of code gas valve, swept up excess water and applied high quality mold-resistant spray.

They were in and out promptly.

Beware, quality of work is good but they charge a fortune! My gas was turned off by SoCal Gas due to a small leak they detected outside by meter. I found Rays Plumbing worked on gas leaks and scheduled an appointment. They found the leak outside, also another small leak inside by the fireplace. They had to break out some concrete outside to reach the leak below, 3 by 3 inches wide and 2 inches down. Replaced a pipe outside, replaced a hose and shut off valve inside, two toilet kits and a new shutoff valve for furnace, all light materials. 3 hours work, $4,000.00!!! Original quote was $1850, which included gas leak testing. I will not call them again, can't afford them!

I was lucky enough to find Ray 6 years ago and he installed 30' of poly pipe on a section of my 200' main water line leaving my home to the street. This was a challenging trench dig and he pulled it off. I was very impressed with the results, and I'm not easy to please. He and his team did this at a reasonable price. No upsells, no shenanigans. Fast forward, I requested Ray's service again for another leak at the water meter. He & Charlie did excellent work, replacing 8 feet of old pvc pipe with poly pipe. Again, reasonable/fair price.

With limited options it can be tough to find good help in Lake Arrowhead. I got lucky to find a great contractor 7 years ago (he has since moved away, darn it) and a great roofer, and still lucky to have found Ray.

Definitely give Ray a chance to quote you're project. Odds are very good you'll be happy you did so.

We had Ray come to our home over Memorial Day weekend to fix a hole in a pipe created by us hanging something above our toilet. We called Ray and he answered his phone right away and arrived when he said he would. He was professional, kind, and completely competent. We would call him again in a heartbeat. We now have a patch of drywall to repair (again, our fault) but, honestly, I'm very happy to now know a professional and dependable plumber!!!

These guys were on it! We had an emergency - water main busted due to a tree root. Ray showed up with a whole crew, had it taken care of in 2 hours. It was amazing. Really happy and lucky to find Ray's Plumbing. I called them regarding a repipe for the whole house because the copper pipes were badly corroded. Ray's quoted me half the price the other plumber company gave me. They did an exceptional job. No more leaks. I give Ray's alot of credit for their hard work and dedication into fixing my plumbing issues. A snow storm was about to hit just a couple days before the scheduled repipe installation. Even though it was a 3 day project. They all worked overtime to make sure my house had running water before the storm. I feel blessed that I was able to save so much money with a quality job even though they were pressed for time due to the storm. Loyalty, value, hardwork, and professionalism. These Guy's ROCK! I had a basically Brand New water heater that we just bought at Home Depot in December. It was under warranty so I went thru the motions! Called Rheem and they told Us that it would be 2 weeks before their Service Guy could get to Us. This was 2 weeks ago right before the last 5 days snow we just got. They did give us a Warrantee Claim Number so that We could go Out of Contract to get it looked at.
Ray and the Boys were there on Tuesday (2 days later) as soon as the weather permitted. He checked it out and diagnosed the problem was a leaking tank. I took back the Rheem to Home Depot, got my Money Back and Got a New High Altitude Bradford White installed by Ray the Next Day!
Could NOT Recommend Them MORE!!!

Got an email from the water company that our water usage was unexpectedly high and come to find out that our water heater broke and leaked - eeks!

Called and spoke with Ray at Ray's plumbing that night and he was there the next day. New high altitude tankless water heater was installed 48 hours later, along with a new shutoff valve inside the house (no more going into the buildup room to turn off the water).

His cost was just about double what I paid from another local plumber for the exact same work. I do expect every trades person to make a profit but to be double over the rest is why I gave 1 star.

Call Ray for all your plumbing emergencies/needs. On a Monday afternoon I called him to check out a slow water leak within a wall. Tuesday morning, he removed a wall panel behind the washer & dryer and discovered all of the 38 year old Chinese galvanized pipe was rusted out.
He re-piped with PEX Wednesday & Thursday. The water was turned off on Tuesday and back on Thursday. He had to jackhammer some rockwork to get to the rotten pipe feeding in from the meter. The wall holes were expertly repaired.
Ray re-installed the hot water heater and replaced many old fittings, gas lines & shutoffs, hoses, sink drains, bathtub drain, washer hookup, water filters, & a kitchen faucet. His pricing is reasonable, but alas, not cheap. I'm saving up for re-pipe part 2, to replace the remaining old pipes. Ray is friendly and dependable.

We had an issue with 2 toilets. The water was leaking out of the tank on one and the other had a flushing issue. They came the next morning after I called. Joe and Steve were GREAT. Ray is the best. Best plumber on the mountain. Best plumber in SoCal. Best plumber period.

In a past life I was a contractor and I'm real picky about who I hire. The first time we hired Ray was on an emergency exterior pipe burst on a property we had just acquired a week before in the dead of winter. He showed up asap, addressed the problem by shutting the valve and made a recommendation for repair later in the spring after the thaw. He could have easily tried to turn a quick buck on us, but chose to build a relationship based on trust instead.

Not only did we have him back after the thaw for that minor repair, but during our renovation we discovered that we'd need a full repipe for our higher end STR. Ray was by far the easiest choice we've made throughout the entire rehab. Pricing was fair, especially considering the level of quality of the work (do you know how hard it is to find REAL trade masters these days!?!) and came with a warrantee.

Beyond the skill, what says it all for me is how long his crew have been working for him. His team is highly skilled and they aren't hopping from one company to the next every couple months. That kind of dedication doesn't just happen on its own.

Ray is absolutely the first and only guy I text. If you're into people that lead with pride in their work and their integrity, this is that.

We had a huge plumbing issue at our home recently in Lake Arrowhead - repeatedly clogged toilets and showers. Ray is highly experienced, quick to respond, diagnoses things correctly, and explains issues in detail. We had several other people service the problem, but they couldn't accurately diagnose the problem. Day or night, weekends, and even in snowstorms, he will try to get out to your home and fix the problem, whatever it may be. Very reasonable prices, cheaper service than other companies we have used with better outcomes. His crew is very professional!

Ray and Sam are great, super friendly guys. They weren't able to make it right at the time we originally planned on, but called well ahead of time to let us know about the delay, and gave us the option to reschedule, or come a bit later. As someone who appreciates communication and being proactive, I can't applaud this more. Quality of work was also great, Ray finished up much faster than I thought. I'm a retired Building Official and needed a plumber in an area I'm new to. I had a backup in my sewer line. I looked on Yelp and found Ray's. I have a place in Lake Arrowhead. He came out the day I called. He talked nonstop, but nothing was wasted. He was explaining to me what he saw, directed his apprentice, touched base with his other jobs. He had a great temperament. I had a sudden emergency in my rental cabin on the mountain. Sewer line breakage. Im way down in Seal Beach so I was in a panic. Called Ray for the first time ever and he was so kind and helpful. Beyond quick and efficient. He and his sons were there in like 5 minutes.They ran for parts and jumped to work immediately. Had it totally repaired and cleaned up in such a short time I was shocked. Ray is the nicest, responsive, professional plumber. His staff is well trained and Ray excels at communicating with you. Called him from yelp on Sunday morning and he showed to our house in Lake Arrowhead 2 hours later. Spent 5 hours digging up my yard, snaking my drain, and then sympathetically showing me how the roots and trees had destroyed my 50 year old drainage line. Was back the next day with his crew and got us back to normal with a very reasonable price and extra work included. Even gave me service pointers on my house maintenance and helped unclog my driveway drain line. He is the only plumber you need!!!

Joe and Steve came by and assessed my low pressure problem. They quickly identified that it was my regulator and then drove back to their office in Crestline so they could replace the broken valve that same day. They came promptly back and were in and out quickly. Now water is flowing great! They even offered to go out my back door and climb up a big hill so they didn't track dirt in my house. We found Ray on Yelp after a huge leak was discovered in our wall that had been going on for who knows how long and done quite a bit of damage in a bedroom on a lower level. Ray answered my husband's call immediately, and was ready to roll out as soon as we needed him. He was prompt, courteous, very knowledgeable and quickly corrected our problem. Our hot water went out. And a friend recommended a different plumber. I called them and not only were they rude but could fit me in for days! More days with no hot water in winter is no good
Thankfully I googled and found Ray!!! He was able to come in under two hours and unfortunately my water heater was shot. However he was so helpful and gave me a really fair price to replace it!
All the while the communication was great and I felt Informed about what is such a costly piece of equipment.
During the replacement ray and his son were quick and friendly!
Will most certainly be making them my go to for all plumbing needs from now on!

I highly recommend Rays Plumbing. I called yesterday evening which was Sunday. They schedule me for first thing this morning which happened to be a holiday. They ran into some traffic due to an accident and to my amazement, I received a call to let me know that they were going to be late. That's not something you see from many companies usually you wait forever. They were very
prompt friendly knowledgeable and extremely efficient. They let me know everything that they were going to do step by step. And best of all they dealt directly with my landlord. Our upstairs toilet was plugged down in the sewer line further than our hardware store snake could reach. We called Ray's Plumbing first thing in the morning and Ray put us first on the list for that day! He sent Steve and Maurice out. Great team work. Talked mostly to Steve who is knowledgeable, friendly, and has many years experience. They fixed the problem in no time and assured us their priority is customer understanding of the problem, pride in their work, and to fix it right the first time. My landlords called Ray because my showers cartridge in the valve assembly exploded almost flooding my bathroom. With in 15 minutes of calling they were at my door ready to get started. This was not an ordinary situation where the assembly was located, and being in HVAC, I have a good understanding of how much work it was, they stayed until the job was complete, replacing the entire assembly and resealing everything. These guys are great. Friendly, honest and all around great to work with. Definitely would recommend to anyone in the mountain areas.

I was just recently charged $400 for a 15min snake job with this plumber that was already at a neighbors house. When my husband asked why so much it narrowed done to because he could. My husband and I are retired and on a fixed income so it hurt pretty bad but not as bad as being taken advantage of.

Ray saved the day on a Sunday afternoon when I had a faulty toilet valve that broke loose and was at risk of flooding the property. I had a tenant on the property and the water was off as a result. I was in a jam and Cedar Glen hardware didn't have the part I needed to replace as well as a few other places I called. I called a dozen other local plumbers and either they didn't answer or gave me an absurd amount just to come over.

I called Ray and he was over within the hour and was able to get me back up and running within about half an hour.

Ray was very reasonable on his rates and did an excellent job of making me feel comfortable and reassured that it would be okay. His quality of work was also great!

I'm a fan and he's now the first on my list in Lake Arrowhead for plumbing.

I highly recommend Ray's Plumbing! My water heater flooded my basement in Crestline and I needed help right away. Ray and his assistant came over immediately on a Saturday, replaced my old tank and pipes and went through the whole house making sure every faucet worked properly. I learned more about plumbing in a few hours than I had known my whole life and they were super friendly while doing it, even though it was on a weekend. Ray's Plumbing will be my guys for any plumbing needs from now on!

Called Ray's Plumbing for a leak issue I had with my main water line. Ray came out on short notice and diagnosed the issue. Ray, Joe and their crew were excellent. Great communication, and very personable to work with. The crew showed up on time and finished the job in a few hours. Price was reasonable and did not change after the original quote. I give Ray's Plumbing 5 stars and highly recommend them. They are my go-to plumbing contractor for all future Jobs!

Our first job was a pipe repair on copper pipe that developed a pin hole leak from a small rock that had settled against main pipe on our pipe outside between the main meter and our home. We called many companies all week trying to handle job and Rays PLUMBING arrived 3pm on a Friday on memorial day long weekend and fixed it right away .

Joe was amazing and got us whole again that day. We then decided to replace our copper pipe from street to house with a 1 inch flexible pipe. Big job requiring digging up our paver stone driveway and patio. Joe made sure trench was neatly and exactly dug to service the pipe replacement and kept he jobsite specific and neat. I highly recommend Rays PLUMBING for all mountain plumbing needs. They respond immediately and are capable of any job.

What an AMAZING company! My washer had a backlog of water coming out while doing a load of laundry. I called Ray's Plumbing on a Saturday and he was gracious enough to come with his crew within an hour. Him and his crew fixed the issue expeditiously and I will definitely be using his services again, if needed.

Ray is ethical, knowledgeable, and honest...traits you don't find in businesses these days. Excellent service throughout.

I would HIGHLY recommend him to anybody looking to get your plumbing issues resolved. Don't waste your precious time looking elsewhere.

I moved to Crestline a couple years ago and have called several plumbers for a reoccurring issue. Thank God all the usuals that we called before were busy and found Ray's plumbing because they are literally the best plumbers on the mountain hands down! They found all of the issues that were causing the reoccurring problem, stuff that we never were told by any other plumbing company we called. They had all the best and latest tools to locate and show us the real problems. They all wore masks, were on time, and highly professional! I cannot say enough good things about this company! We had major plumbing problems in the middle of a snow storm. Sunday afternoon. Tried three plumbers including Pinnacle Plumbing, which was recommended by someone. Couldn't even get someone to return my call (24 hour service, really?). Called Ray's Plumbing. Unbelievable service, fair price, 30 day guarantee or they come back out for free if the problem occurs again. Friendly, clean, professional. No up- selling. No gauging price wise. I would highly recommend them to anyone in San Bernardino area.

We had our main sewer line clog with roots, the sewer was backing up into the downstairs shower and toilet.
Rays Plumbing came out and using their high tech equipment diagnosed exactly where the issue was.
They dug out the problem area replaced the pipe and destroyed the roots in that area, problem solved.
Ray was professional and straight forward. Went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right.

My toilet was leaking water. I called Ray as neighbors had recommended him. He was busy, but was still able to come out same day and fix my problem which ended up being the flapper inside the tank. Ray came off very polite, personable and knowledgeable. His work looked good and he was very reasonably priced. I would recommend Ray for the job. He is my go-to guy now for my plumbing needs.

My shower valves needed to be replaced and they were behind the remodeled tile from 10 years ago. Ray's crew was here about an hour after my frantic call for help. They came, assessed the situation and told me, Anything's possible (to fix), and got to work! My tile had to be chipped out and Steve did an AMAZING job of chipping those little suckers out to make the work area more workable. They spent about an hour doing a job that would have taken me 3 days! Very professional, very honest, and a very Rad shower fix! I will continue to use Ray's and this is the 3rd time that Ray has worked on our plumbing. Highly recommend!! Thank you again, Ray and Crew (Joe, Steve, Maurice).

During my recent visit to my friend's mountain home, I was taken aback by the exorbitant price he had to pay for a sewage pump replacement carried out by Ray's company. The shocking bill amounted to a whopping $1200, despite the actual work taking less than two hours, and that didn't even include the cost of the pump itself. To say it was a rip-off would be an understatement.
While I understand that service charges can vary, this pricing seemed unjustifiably high and left a bitter taste in my mouth.
Given the brief duration of the service and the steep cost, I cannot help but feel that Ray's is taking advantage of its customers. It's disappointing to witness such exploitative practices, which overshadow any potential positive aspects of their services.

As a result of this disheartening encounter, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Ray's services to anyone. There are undoubtedly more reasonable options available. If you find yourself in a similar situation, I strongly recommend shopping around for more competitively priced alternatives.

Finding a reliable plumber on the mountain has been extremely tough so I can't rave about Rays Plumbing more highly. After numerous issues and unsuccessful plumbing experiences with other plumbing companies who didn't show up or couldn't find the route of the problem I was so grateful to stumble on Ray. He and his team were reliable, prompt, turned up when they said they would (which is hard to find in any industry on the mountain it seems) ... he got to work right away and even sourced out other contractors for other work we needed which was beyond helpful. He got the job done, sent pictures daily as we weren't there when the work was done, kept us fully informed and was so friendly, caring and made sure we felt fully reassured and knowledgeable on what was going on. Can't recommend him highly enough and I am so glad to have a plumbing company I know I can rely on.

If you live on the mountain and need a plumber Ray is your guy. He is not kidding about 24/7. Had an emergency with my water heater in the height of the snowstorm this week. He came right over, saw I needed a replacement, flew down the mountain to procure the heater and back up to install immediately. Was their til after midnight finishing the job. 48 hours later I had ground water rising into lower level due to the heavy rains. He was back at my place within 20 minutes to asses the damage. As this is not my primary residence, having Ray nearby and ready to respond, is nothing short of a blessing.

Had a clogged main sewer line. Called Ray on urgent basis and he had someone here in less than 15 minutes. When home was built, they didn't put in sewer cleanouts so it became a complicated issue. They had to jackhammer through rocky soils down 6 feet. All this time, we could not use water, so Ray and his crew stayed until the job was finished, even though it was not finished until past midnight. Ray takes pride in his work to get it done right, no matter how what time it is. He also stuck to his original quote even though it took hours to jackhammer down 6 feet. Highly recommend Ray's Plumbing.

We are renters and I was in search of a good plumber to fix our hot water shower handle. It had been leaking since before we moved in and it finally kicked the bucket and was inoperable. I found Ray through Yelp and wanted to give him a try in our small mountain community.
He responded promptly to my inquiry and gave me an estimate along with appointment date and time. He arrived with a cheerful can do attitude earlier than the estimated time frame and got to work quickly. No more than 20 minutes Ray and his assistant had the job done with new handles and no more leaks.

Ray even went above and beyond when he started a repair for us, and once he got inside realized that the work didn't need to be done. Rather than gouging us, he just packed up and said no charge.

on the mountin it is very difficult to find honest people to do work and charge fairly especially in plumbing. I'm so glad we found rays plumbing. Him and his team are fair and charge fair rates. They don't try to upsell you and are reasonable. They do a good job polite and clean up afterwards. And my favorite are available last min! I highly recommend rays plumbing to anyone on the mountin. Ray's Plumbing has been my husband and I's, including my father in laws go-to plumbers for about 5 years now. They are honest, fair, trustworthy, reliable, and do incredible work! We just got our entire home re-piped by Ray and his guys and we LOVE the outcome. They moved our laundry hookup from the build up area to up in our loft and I can't wait to start doing laundry inside our home. I can't imagine using another company because we fully trust them in our home and feel so comfortable when we're gone, knowing that they get the job done right! Ray's Plumbing to the rescue---again! Ray re-plumbed our cabin in September 2019. He did a fantastic job, sooner than promised and faster than promised. We were beginning a renovation and Ray made sure I knew he was available for anything I needed.
The renovation, during COVID, was long, and the plumber who worked with our contractor had difficulty getting to the job in a timely fashion, so the work got strung out. When the plumber didn't plumb for our laundry room, I turned to Ray. He was *very* clear about when he could get to the job. Everything was done meticulously, appliances installed and tested. Ray is so wonderful to work with and his team is top notch. If you are on the mountain, Ray is your go to plumber!

I called to get an estimate on some sewer line root balls found during inspections when I bought my house a few months ago. Not only did they come out the next day to inspect they also were able to do the repair work. Next day work is unheard of these days and they were much more reasonable on the pricing than the original inspector's estimate. Joe kept me informed on progress as I wasn't home at the time, sending pictures and letting me know how it was going. I highly recommend Ray's and will have them back out soon for some other needed repairs!

I called ray regarding my issues with my contactor who built our bathroom in the basement and now couldn't connect it to the main sewer.

Ray and his crew was on time and did start the job right away. He called the water district and sorted things out with them and called them for inspection. Price is right as well.

I don't live in the mountains so I appreciate them sending pictures of the work done.

Highy reliable and very communicative.

I would hire them again.

We had a leak on our main water line and called Ray for an estimate. He came out the same day with a crew and we hired them. Could not have been happier with the service - other then having to pay for a new water line. They showed up when they said they would, Ray would be in constant contact with updates. Honestly it's rare for a company to exceed expectations but he really did. Ray even dropped by a few days later to relight our water heater, which he surely didn't have to do. Just a nice guy and great work, what else can you ask for. Highly recommended.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!! We had called another plumber to come out for a backed up sink, so they snaked our line for 1 hour & he informed me it was so clogged up that he had to Hydro clean it for another $600 dollars & it would be done 2 days later.
So I called Ray's plumbing right after the other plumber left. Then Ray and his son came out and they snaked it out for $125 & my sink works fine now. Thank you Ray's Plumbing !!

Our first plumber was not able to clear my kitchen sink drain because his snake was not strong enough to clear it. I was left with leaky pipes under my sink after he replaced them. 1st plumber said he would need to install new pipes, but couldn't do it till the next morning.
BUT, when I called Ray's Plumbing... Steve and his partner came to my residence and repaired the leak under my sink. Then they cleared the kitchen sink clog and didn't need to replace any piping under the house. They were so professional, understanding, and shared insight on how to take preventative measures in avoiding future plumbing issues. My plumbing issues were handled in an hour. I recently purchased a 50 year old home in Twin Peaks, CA and upon the inspection I knew I was in for a lot of plumbing work. Over 2/3 of the house had to be completely repiped with PEX plumbing pipes to replace rusted Galvanized Steel pipes. In addition, there were washing machine hoses that has to be replaced, missing turn on/off valves needing to be replaced, a bathroom vanity that was too high and needed to be lowered which also meant lowering the plumbing fixtures, as well as a new water heater installation. This was a major job that was also going to require a general contractor to take care of the wall cut-outs while the pipes were being installed. Ray, and his team are the BEST OF THE BEST!!! Ray went so above and beyond for me and really treated my home as if it was his home. He also recommended the General Contractor, Ken from The House Doctor, who turned out to be fantastic as well. Upon wrapping up the job, Ray phoned to let me know there seemed to be a problem with the Wall Heater. Ray is not in the heating and air business and could have just left my home as it was. Instead he called one of his main Heating licensed contractors and Greg from Cantrell's was at my home within 15 minutes. He discovered a hole in the heater that was leaking carbon monoxide. I was not at my new home while this was all taking place, and fortunately the heater had not been running so no carbon monoxide leaked out while work was being done. The next day I drove up to my mountain home and Greg from Cantrell's went down the mountain, picked up a brand new replacement wall heater, and stayed well into the night to install the heater and properly install a new digital thermostat. I feel so safe in my home now. Not only did Ray and his team deliver the best plumbing work at very competitive pricing, Ray also is an amazing resource for other licensed contractors. Ray will forever be my plumber up on the mountain. If you are looking for the best, quality plumbing work, I wouldn't hesitate to contact Ray Acuna from Ray's Plumbing!

I hired Ray's to come out and replace several hose bibs that started to fail and a bathroom pull handle that had a leaking cartridge. They did A+ quality work and my contact Steve was excellent about communicating estimated time of arrival and walking me through the repair process.
I'd definitely hire Ray's again for my future plumbing projects.

Ray's Plumbing re-piped our 1968 3 story, 3 bath house. Replaced every pipe on the property all the way out to the street. Ray is a good communicator, explaining the charms and challenges of our home. Everything is finished now. It all works great. I am very satisfied. Highly recommend!
