Praytor & Son Expert Plumbing

Nobody ever wants to need a plumber, but these people were great!! Immediately upon arriving (within their quoted timeframe even!) they were friendly and professional. They treated my house with so much respect. Put big moving blanket on the floor before bringing in their machine and starting the work, and put down pads to protect my cabinet from getting water or damage. And even when opening the cabinet door he did it carefully to not bang or scratch it against the other cabinets. The care and consideration they put into my home was noticed and very appreciated!!

We had a blockage in the pipes down stream from kitchen. They were able to help clear it and get the job done very quickly. They were sure to do several tests and make sure I was satisfied with the job. Plumbing can be expensive but I was happy their service wasn't outrageous. I had a couple questions and he happily talked through things and made sure I was satisfied.

Great great service, will use again for future plumbing needs.

Eva was professional and patient. Praytor & Son Expert Plumbing assisted with the process and collaborated with the county and PG&E. Eva was in contact with me the entire time and communicated the process. It was tedious but the issue was addressed.

We were introduced to the Praytors by our HVAC guy.  Sean Praytor located a water leak in 10 minutes that two other plumbers and a team of sonic explorers sent by our insurance couldn't find over two years.  

Since then (almost ten years ago) Praytor and Son have replaced half our house plumbing, installed two water heaters, repaired a serious leak in the main line coming to our house, replaced our garbage disposal and most of our interior and exterior water fixtures.  So, you can tell we're real happy with them.

It's never been easy to find professionals in this field who do great work at fair a price that work efficiently and cleanly.  We won't call anyone else for plumbing.

I honestly can't say enough nice things about these guys.    I own and maintain a very old house that often decides to fall apart, the way old houses love to do.  I've had them out to my house a few times, always around Christmas and they are honest and trustworthy in their business practices.   I would definitely absolutely recommend them 100 times over.

I called Praytor and Son this morning as i had several issues at home. Leaky sink, one runny toilet, another toliet out of commission. Shawn from Praytor & Son answered the call and  I couldn't be happier with the customer service and how informative and honest Shawn was, he guided me on what I had to do in the future to avoid these issues. He was beyond helpful and fixed all 3 of my problems.  I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again. They are now my to go plumbers. Thank You Praytor & Son.

Bill came out to my house immediately and did a through inspection of the problem. I had a quote the next day which far exceeded my expectation. They scheduled a time to complete the job around my schedule and arrived promptly. After beginning they kept me informed of everything they were finding. When they found that the job would be smaller than quoted, they were honest with me (instead of trying to do more than was necessary) and they cut my costs in half. The job was done thoroughly, they respected my house and property, and they made sure that I was satisfied before completing the job. It's nice to know that there are still honest people that aren't trying to rip you off. Thank you Praytor and Son.

Praytor rerouted our hot water pipes thru the attic after we had a break in the pipe in the cement slab.

We were very happy with all aspects.

I really enjoyed working with Shawn and Son on a home inspection. They used a camera to inspect from the city main into the property up the the exterior of the home. They included a full video of the camera with their documentation which was appreciated.

I have to admit it has been quite a challenge working with their office on logistics. This is partly the fault of the coordinator not being transparent about scheduled times, but when I called to deconflict the person I spoke to was defensive and uncompromising.

Additionally I paid separately for an estimate on replacing some piping inside the home. The estimate took more than 48 hours to receive any documentation on the estimate. I called about the estimate and again the person I spoke to was defensive.

After 48 hours of no communication I received a call letting me know they are refusing to give me the estimate and my CC wouldn't be charged.

So I think they'd do a good job, but I can't recommend based on my experiences. They seem like nice people, but they operate on their time and not yours. ‍
