Our air conditioner broke last night I called first thing this morning and they sent someone right out. I was surprised they could come out so fast.
This is my second time using this company and I will continue to use them in the future. Jesse was our technician he very polite and professional he did a great job getting our air going again. Same for the technician we had last year that's the reason I decided to use them again. Thank you so much!
DISSAPOINTING Service. . Were not concerned to schedule when it was an emergency. Only did so when Home Warranty threatened to send my order to another company. When they came out did not have the parts. I have no hot water. I called a week later and parts still were not ordered giving me more excuses. They were not remotely concerned about my situation. Stated reluctantly they would TRY call to order. I asked for a call back to confirm. Did not call back. What a surprise. Would not use again.

I have used PR Plumbing on several occasions. When he was truly an emergency and they came right away. They've never try to clean something needed to be completely remodeled or redone. I have had that experience with another AC business in town when my air conditioner only needed Servicing. They were recommended by a friend and I'll call them again, should I need help.

I'll start with the positives. The technicians were friendly and our AC is now working after being out for almost a month. That is all.
We were assigned this company through our Home Warranty claim. It took a week for the first of 4 technicians to come out and he was unable to determine if there was a leak and had to send out a second technician that took another week to get an appointment. The second guy was able to determine it was the evaporator coils and put in the order stating we would receive a phone call from the office with our next appointment. They never called. After a week my husband called a few times (he was always given the answer that they would have to call him back and didn't) and finally talked to the office staff who said they were scheduled to come out that afternoon. Luckily he called to find out or we wouldn't have ever known to expect them. The third set of technicians came out and installed the evaporator coils after staining my stairs and carpet with dirt and whatever was on the evaporator coils (more on that in a moment). A fourth set of technicians had to come out to fix the duct work. This whole process has taken two days short of a month to complete and at times it would get up to 90+ degrees in my house as it was 100+ outside.
My husband called again today to discuss the stained carpets that we now have and was given the same answer once again, we'll have to call you back. I'm guessing it'll take at least another week. The office staff are very unprofessional and avoid returning phone calls, do they want to keep business?? The technicians were nice however they need to make sure to bring proper equipment to avoid ruining customers carpets and floors, should be a company requirement.
Overall, would not recommend this company to anyone, I even called my home warranty company to see if I could change to company assigned to us!
We had an appointment the time frame was between 8am to 10am and Steve was here by 8:15am i was still asleep lol but he came in and fixed the problem with no problem very nice knew what he was doing no mess ups and he put all of my rugs back into place I'm only a renter but I'll definitely be calling this company when i buy my home if i have any problems.... Called PR Plumbing to setup an appointment for an estimate on replacing my ductwork. Instead of the office girl setting up an appointment with an estimator she gave me the cellphone number of a sales representative. I called sales representative and gave Jose all my information to meet at 3pm appointment. Jose never arrived.
Jose arrived at about 4:15pm. Jose apologized and said he attempted to call me. I informed him that I had an appointment with another company at 5pm. He counted my vents and looked at my unit from the ground (old unit on roof). He said he would give me an estimate on ductwork and/or unit. Never received an estimate.

We had Thomas come out for a Home Warranty claim on an issue with water pressure in our sink and shower. He arrived on time, was friendly, and assessed the problem quickly. Before he arrived, I was cleaning out below the sink and noticed one of our valves was dripping. This wasn't the cause of our water pressure problem, but he also took care of this while he was there. If I have a choice next time we have a plumbing issue (with our HW company, we don't have a choice), I would definitely use this company again.
Beyond RUDE. I had to use this company due to my home owner's insurance. They started off polite and nice, but that soon turned into not following through on what they said they'd do. This created delays in getting my A/C installed. When I called out Dan for being dishonest, he flipped out and hung up the phone on me. My insurance had problems with scheduling them. They told my insurance on a Friday they'd install on Tuesday, but when I called my insurance on Monday to confirm, they said they didn't have me scheduled. This was what I experienced earlier that week. They say one thing and do another. They said insurance hadn't sent paper work over, but insurance showed they had. They said they'd call in claim the same day as information taken, but claim was called in until later the next day.
The installers left a mess. Dirty hand prints all around the air vents, so now I have to go paint these areas. I had to vacuum up plenty of messes. They installed a different unit than what was ordered, and I was never informed that it was different.
There were a couple bright spots. A couple of the techs that came out were nice and quite polite.
This company was a total nightmare. I haven't been treated this poorly as a customer, but they probably don't care. A/C problems in the valley during summer...they'll have plenty of business.
EDIT: The AC Unit wouldn't cool our house. They send out a tech to check and he says to use different filters. Still nothing. Another tech finally realizes THEY INSTALLED THE WRONG SIZED UNIT. A new unit was finally installed, but the installer dented our wash machine and left a mess for me to clean up. Just when you think they can't get worse, they get a lot worse.

Do not, absolutely DO NOT use this company! If I didn't HAVE to put at least one star to publish the review, I would truly have given them zero. I was contracted through them through my home warranty service and have had problem after problem. In the miserable Fresno summer heat with a house that got as high as 99 degrees inside, the people I had to deal with were unprofessional and rude. I was told when they installed my new A/C Unit in July of 2012 that a check for $550 was also needed to have an inspector come out to inspect the new unit. Exactly one year later, I have had zero contact with an inspector by phone, mail, email, etc. Upon reading the other reviews for this company, I see that the City of Fresno Permit Department says that this company is notorious for pulling stunts like this. In addition to not being contacted by an inspector and getting the run around from Josh at PR Plumbing regarding that matter, now I have been told by another company that a leak in the coil has caused all of the Freon to leak out which has caused unnecessary stress on the compressor which may have to be replaced. What a miserable joke! As far as the one positive review for this company, is it me or is it an uncanny coincidence that the receptionist's name who answers nearly every phone call is also Desiree?!
I've been dreading making this review. We had such a horrible experience that I debated on two stars, which are solely for the techs who came out to help even though they weren't always qualified for the job.
PR was called out to look at our bedroom AC unit because we weren't getting much cold air out of it. Each room has its own unit but they are all connected to the same cooler or whatever outside. Everything was fine when they first came out. They determined the unit needed to be replaced but while they were there, they thoroughly cleaned the old unit in the meantime. This was so appreciated because it helped a lot, immediate improvement.
About three weeks later, I get a call to schedule the new unit install. Two friendly techs show up and spend all morning trying to install the unit. The main tech at one point mentions he's not an installer, he's a service guy but is trying his best. They finally tell me the wrong support board or whatever was ordered so they have to order the correct one and come back later to install. WHAT? That means no AC in my bedroom! The tech then says he can try to hook up the new unit and prop it on the ladder and hopefully that will allow me to have air. So yeah, he propped up the unit - it looked like it would fall but I didn't care because we have horrible heat here. ALSO, ALL the units have to be connected in order for them all to work since they're all ultimately connected to one unit outside. Well about an hour after he left, all the units stopped working and we were left with no AC in a two story house.
I called the next day to tell them all the units were out. They didn't care and confirmed the part had not yet been ordered. I flipped out. I had them come take out the new unit which smelled like chemicals and was definitely not safe - and not worth the risk if I wasn't getting any air out of it or any of the other units. (Oh except they kept insisting that the other units were working. Infuriating.) It ended up taking over two weeks for the part to come in (supposedly) and then we had to wait for them to schedule to come out to install. The install techs were great. But the whole experience was F'g ridiculous!

San came out and fixed my problem within 20 minutes!!! They were awesome. I would highly recommend them for your air conditioning needs. They were personable and knew their stuff. Don't waste your time calling someone else. I had a different company come out prior to PR plumbing and they were horrible. Highly recommend!!!!
I called PR on Saturday 8/28/21 to try and get someone out to look at my mother's water heater. I called around 4:30 pm. The dispatcher who took my call said someone would call me back before arriving to the house. Three hours later, still no call. So, about 7:30 pm, I called back and the same dispatcher answered. Dispatcher reassured and said someone would call me. What a waste of time! Thank goodness no one came out after reading all these 1-star reviews!
I called and scheduled an appointment a week ago for 930 am on tues for a full AC replacement quote. Received voice mail from Jose at 8:30 am the day of the appointment to cancel. Apparently there is a sexual harassment meeting today. Glad they are following the law, but you would think a professional company would be able to schedule their appointments around such training and in ADVANCE. Unacceptable and unprofessional to cancel my appointment an hour before they were supposed to be here! I took time off from work to accommodate and couldn't even get an apology from Eric the scheduler when I called to complain.
I'm not understanding why my review shows up when I open my yelp app, but when I go I the website or my family or friends get on yelp my reviews hidden?

Trust me these guys are the absolute worst of worst!
They are the absolutely worst plumbing company of fresno. I had them through home waranty for washer drain clogging and they denied and said they can do separately for 575 dollars!. My local plumber did for 140 dollars!
This is the second time they have denied claims. Earlier it was for a different rental last year
Plz read all reviews carefully. These guys have history of denying legitimate claims via warranty companies. Very unprofessional.

I noticed our kitchen sink was leaking on a Mon night, my husband called the next afternoon, & we were given a timeframe of 2-4 on Wed afternoon.
Wed afternoon, about 1:15, we got a call saying they were running early and would it be ok to come over now. Early? That never happens! Steve arrived a few mins before 2 & was done within 25 mins. Replaced the garbage disposal & we're back in business. Quick, courteous service every time. Thank you Steve & PR Plumbing!

The plumber that came out to the house did a good job, but I can't say anything good about the rest of the company...
They jerked me around on getting the work inspected - told me an inspector would be at my house after lunch - and never even scheduled the inspection with the City!
This was after waiting months to get the inspection.
A whole afternoon of work (and income) missed because of unprofessional, uncaring people. I would not recommend this company to anyone... EVER!!

I need emergency services because my toliet was overflowing and backed up and leaking and it was backing up toliet into the shower
I called P R plumbing to help declogg and fix the problem I pay $225 and one day later having the same issues
Then I call back and ask them to come out again said it's not guaranteed
Wanted another $45 fee to come back out
I talked to supervisor he waived that fee
The same plumber came back out and
Still having the same problem of leaking toilet
Still not working after back out 2x with p and r plumbing
So I called different plumbing service snake and lateral
They told me that last plumber did it all wrong
Because the lines were still clogged up
The last plumber didn't apparently do the job correctly
I asked for refund w P R plumbing
They will not refund me so I wrote this review.. it not slander it's the truth I paid for service it was not done properly
the problem was fixed by another company for $230
I'm just waste of time and money with this company 2x p&r plumber came out did not fix the problem

This is the company that my home's insurance sends out to us whenever we have any plumbing issues. And most of the time, they've been just fine. Not great, but fine.
However, I recently needed them to come out to fix my master bathroom - the toilet and shower both were not working. The technician, Jessie, was very short and not exceptionally polite, but he did the job so I brushed that off.
He ended up having to snake our pipes and had to do this under my bathroom sink. I walked in and asked him if I could move any of the things we had under the sink and he said no, he would move them himself.
The next day, I went to clean the bathroom and opened up the sink cabinet. There were brown water specks on everything. Our mouthwash, our extra toothpaste, our extra hand soaps, EVERYTHING. And then I realized that Jessie had used one of MY hand towels to clean the mess that was made and he had just left this wet towel in the cabinet, soaking wet and dirty. He never asked to use this towel or mentioned that he had used it.
I called the company and explained to them what happened and was told that they were sorry but there was nothing that they can do.
So now I'm having to replace all of these items that were under my sink AND pay for the plumbing service.
Needless to say, we are asking to no longer use them and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Recently, the control valve in our shower/tub began leaking again. I attempted to replace it as I have done many times but this time there was a problem. I could neither install it completely nor remove it. This meant no water to the house. I called PR Plumbing but the could not get out until the following day. But when they did arrive, they had the proper tools and the correct replacement part. Fresno Distributing had been selling me the wrong part for years, but only a professional would know that. I now have a working shower/tub again without a leak. Thanks PR!
PR Plumbing helped save the day for us. We were waiting indefinitely for another plumbing company to fix the leak in the spray hose in our kitchen faucet. When that did not happen, our home warranty company sent a technician from PR Plumbing to fix it. They not only fixed the leak in the spray hose but they gave us a brand new faucet. We are extremely pleased with their professional, timely and courteous service.
worst company on the planet don't ever call them. they lie about everything they say. especially the receptionist. we had an appointment and they never showed up, when we called, plus our home insurance called several times, they lied to them even though its recorded. my repair was for an emergency air conditioner and I'm elderly, medical issue and it was 107 degrees. 3 days later this company was still horrible to us. after reading the reviews I can see a pattern. I hope they lose their license.
Horrible company very unprofessional. Wish I had never used them. They not only had a complete lack of understanding of our system they called the air handling system of our split system a furnace.
It only makes you wonder how a company this inept could stay in business.
Our AC went out and we contacted our home warranty. They told us the they were sending PR Plumbing out and that they will have them contact us to schedule an appointment. The appt. was scheduled for the following day first thing in the morning between 8am-10am. We waited all morning, not a single word from PR Plumbing. 10 o'clock came and went, still no call from them. We called our home warranty again to advise of our situation. They were sending someone else out instead of PR Plumbing. Very disappointed with PR Plumbing!!!
I am writing and update on my first review. Apparently Josh in not a the tech that went, he is some office guy. Josh is a liar. My home warranty company authorized a new unit to be installed. Once installed PR Plumbing left no paperwork regarding the new unit. I called and asked him to please drop it off as I needed it to register the unit for 10 yr warranty to take effect, he did not until I threatened not to pay him the out of pocket money I owed PR Plumbing. Here is where he lied, he said no paperwork was left because no one was home. Hello how do you install a new AC unit without anyone being there? I confirmed with my tenants that they were indeed home, one of them even signed off on the installation. I have put in a formal complaint into my home warranty company about them, they are unprofessional and unethical. Use these yahoos at your on risk.

Had problems with water heater making loud banging noises. Called PR on a recommendation from another firm. Thomas came out and found the problem in about a minute and hustled to get the part and replaced under the first hour to save me money. Could not ask for better service. We will use them now for all sour plumbing service. Thanks Thomas.

Our home air conditioner started blowing warm air yesterday evening. We called PR this morning and they were at our door by 10:15 AM. The technician, Juan, and his assistant were the epitome of professionalism and courtesy. They diagnosed and fixed the problem, a failed capacitor, within 30 minutes They also checked refrigerant levels and other operating elements of the AC system and let us know they were fine. This type of professional, honest service is why we have utilized PR for both our annual maintenance and specific plumbing and HVAC needs for over 10 years. My wife and I noticed that every service person we have worked with from PR over the years has followed the same exemplary customer service model of politeness and professionalism. PR Plumbing is one of the finest service companies of any type that I have worked with in my life.

Worst experience I have ever had. They charged me $90 to come over without telling me and the estimation to repair an air conditioner was $4,000 for a repair coil. Normally, other places charge $60 for a diagnosis and estimation. The company said they would send me an estimation via email the next day but it took 5 days to get the email! I am disappointed to their service and attitude towards me.

PR Plumbing Heating and Air-conditioning installed an air conditioning/heater unit. From the start of the estimate to the finish of the installation everyone was very professional and informative. Jose came out and did measurements to ensure I was going to place the correct size unit on my house. He looked in the attic were he noticed the duct in one place was too tight- which it happened to be one of my rooms which was always hot. The installation crew showed up at 8:00 am and the installation was completed by 12:00 pm. All the guys were very professional and polite. They kept us informed from start to finish. They corrected the duct issue for the bedroom. Now all my rooms in my house are cold. We had to turn up the air conditioner thermostat as the house was too cold.
I would definitely recommend this company for anyone would needs any work or installation of a new air conditioning/heater unit.
If I could give them less than 1 star I would. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY!!!We were assigned this company by our Home warranty company.
A tech came out & diagnosed the problem as being the mother board for our dual zone controller (it kept blowing fuses on the board). He said he would put in a request for home warranty to replace the board. Also he would find new fuses & bring them back out later the same day. Five minutes later he said he would ask his manager to find fuses for us. Ten minutes later he said he would look all over town to find these fuses for us (let me a bit worried).
After 2 hours, I drove 5 minutes to a hardware store & purchased a box of fuses. Plugged them in & the A/C was blowing again.
After a week we had not heard from the company (nor received any fuses). We called again & they sent another tech out to diagnose the problem AGAIN. He came up with the same solution- change the mother board. I was not home for this service call, my wife was. I came home & found that the tech had taken my box of fuses with him when he left. We called & asked that they be returned. 3 days later a tech came out, replaced the fuses on the board & left me a box containing 1 fuse.
Home warranty would not pay for the part to be replaced. We figured this company could do it since they have diagnosed the problem -WRONG!!! After a few weeks of phone calls the receptionist stated that they don't replace those boards. Wow, they were going to do it when the home warranty was paying for the parts, now that we are paying they all of the sudden don't do that type of job.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with this company!!! We have sent in a formal complaint with our home warranty & will not do any business with this company again!!!

I was quoted 270 for 3 hours of labor at $90/hour to clean all refrigerators and freezers and AC condenser coils.
While the maintenance guy was working I asked him to change the cartridge filter for an ice machine. He said okay and went ahead and change it. When he was done he said your total is $405. $225 for labor and $180 for for the filter?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why didn't you tell me before you replaced the filter how much is going to cost???!!!!
He just replaced it and charged me 405 for 2.5 hours of labor and 1 single cartridge ice machine filter. I called in and they told me they apologize, that's not what they stand for and customers should know the price before proceeding and they will not do this to future customers. But there's nothing they could do for me. That is OBSURD and a RIP-OFF.
I was ready and planning on scheduling my next appointment to do the same cleaning service already ahead of time but NEVER. Not any more.

Tim and Sam came out to inspect a water heater leak. Tim explained it was a water heater failure. Our home warranty covered the water heater and installation. They installed it this afternoon in under a couple of hours. They are very nice guys who explained everything to us all along the way. Thanks again for the great service.

Awesome service from San! They called me to notify me they were at my house. He figured out that the fan and the fan motor were incorrect so he went to Fresno to get the correct items. Awesome service from both gentlemen! I would recommend this company to everyone! Thank you San!
Called at 3pm for Water Heater that went out. They were at my house before 6pm. Part order back in service within 24 hours. Technicians very nice and professional. Libby at the office was awesome.
Recently 12/21, we contacted this company to hydro flush the sewer lines at an apartment building we own. After completing the job the plumber had left a great deal of debris and feces that hat escaped the sewer line just lying on the ground. When asked, their comment was that they do not clean up any debris, nor did they attempt to notify us of this situation. I had to contact a remediation company to clean up the mess at a cost of an additional $800. This company is negligent and unprofessional at best. They also left the sewer caps off of the line which allowed more water and debris to escape onto the grounds.
PR Plumbing did the re piping of our condos. They did an amazing job! Tim and Cody worked around myself, kids and our pets and made it as easy as possible for us. They made sure to have everything done in a timely manner. Can't say enough great things about them! We've also had many toilet backups and they always have someone come right out to fix it, usually Tim, and he gets everything working pretty quick! Thanks guys for everything!!

This is a warning to not leave anyone unattended in your bathroom, room, etc. I'll keep this short without too many details because I'm stuck having to deal with this company again, it's one of only two plumbing co. my home warranty works. I was called after the service was completed to see if I wanted an estimate for duct work. I agreed and the guy showed up sweating like crazy(hot day). I offered him bunches of ice water and once he was done he asked to use the restroom. I agreed because he had about 44oz of water in his bladder. I heard my medicine cabinet being opened and I thought I was delusional or paranoid. Fast forward: He left and stole most of the pills I had in the bathroom. I reported him to the owner and I was told he would be fired. The next time (4 months later) i had to use my home warranty i asked the tech if he knew so and so and if he still worked there(playing dumb). I was told he was still there! I tried contacted the owner multiple times afterwards and no replies. I don't know if he's there now though but to not fire someone after that is unheard of.

Worst and laziest plumbers possible. I kid you not. They have horrible customer service, plumbers are always in a rush , rude and incompetent. You will be wise to look elsewhere. I used them for my property in fresno twice and both times they have disappointed me.

Very satisifed with PR Plumbing. They were assigned to us by our home warranty company to fix our A/C so I was worried. However, as soon as they came and diagnosed the problem I knew that I was in good hands. They came back right away to install new ducts and left everything in good order when they finished and now our house is cool as can be! I will definitely use them in the future.

PR is fantastic. Jesus is the nicest and most thorough technician we've ever had out at the house. When it seems like you're dealing with an endless succession of unqualified or incompetent household appliance, electrical, and HVAC people, it's a relief to work with the team at PR. Technicians do a good job. The office staff is horrible. My home warranty company uses them so I have no choice. The first visit was in January, took care of the problem and everything was great. I called them out on my own in February for an unrelated issue and again they took care of the problem and everything was great. I had to have them out again in October because the shower and toilets weren't draining. I stated in my claim with the warranty company that the clean-out at the garage had to be uncapped to allow the water to drain and it was flooding my planter. I had to call the office to get an appointment after 5 days of not hearing from them. The tech came out, ran the auger through the main line from the street to the house, water starting running to he said that should take care of the problem. I capped the clean-out and 2 days later, my washing machine started backing up and into the utility tub in the garage. Apparently there is a clog in that part of the sewer line. I called the warranty company, they labeled it a recall and sent a request to the plumbing company. I had not heard from them for over a week so I called the office again. The girl there told me she had no record of any recall. I called the warranty company again, was told that it was sent and was put on hold while they called the plumbers. Came back on the line and told me the plumbers claimed they called me 3 times but couldn't reach me. Not true. Then I find out they had a phone number that was not mine but my son's so if they had called I would have gotten a message. Problem is that first the office told my they had no record of a recall for me, so why did she tell the warranty company that she couldn't get a hold of me? It's one or the other. She lied to me when I called at 11 am. The warranty company told me they corrected the phone number and that the plumbers would be calling me to set up an appointment. At 3 pm I had to call them again because they didn't call. Then I had to go through the whole story 2 more times before someone scheduled an appointment. The girls on the phone are rude, they don't have the first clue about customer service and they aren't very resourceful. Since I was a regular paying customer I was on file with them and if they truly had problems reaching me they could have looked up my info to be sure they were calling the right number. I don't believe they really care because reading reviews and responses on the BBB website, this company admits that if you are a warranty customer you will be put at the back of the line and you will be helped when they get around to it.
How dare you Chrystin D or whatever the hell your name is! What?! Did you do a Google search? Do you know him? And then you're going to put on blast a company who offers second chances and giving someone the benefit of the doubt so they can move on and sustain? Who are you to be so judgmental and entitled? How many times in your life has someone given you another chance? How comfortable is it to throw your attitude and shit around on the Internet with no worry about being identified and called out? I know him personally and he's not perfect and he's made mistakes in his life in the past that you probably only know from a Google search or whatever! He owns up to that fact he's not perfect, works his ASS OFF, and doesn't sit around judging other people for their mistakes. I'd love to see the reviews you'd get on your life. Before you open your fucking mouth again take time to know the truth. You have something else to say, you can say it to my face, not declaring your perfection on here by chastising someone else's life and reputations because of what you think you know. If you're worried about it that much maybe you should learns how to fix your own shit that way your safe he's not the one with the issues, you are. You seriously need to think before you speak. Shame on you!
Today we called PR Plumbing and from the office people to the young man, Thomas that did the work at our home, we were extremely impressed. Thomas was very competent and thorough. He took his time to explain the process to us. Thank you PR plumbing
James who is the boss has the worst customer service. Employees are clueless and can't figure out how to unblock a toilet the service is so bad. The other Employee Eric is useless and won't listen to your question or will they even try to help you out and god only knows who there sending to your house read the Reviews about PR Plumbing Don't let them in to your house it will cost you so much money Stay away from Them.
Great company, lead by a great owner, Dan. Dan was cordial and professional. They gave us a great rate, and went above and beyond at time of service. Inspected our main sewer line and identified the problem. Was knowledgeable and worked diligently to resolve the plumbing issue.
All their drivers/techs were prompt and professional and worked hard to our satisfaction. Highly recommend this company, they treat their customers right. Thanks again!
Thomas came and saved the day! His service and expertise were exemplary. I was very impressed holistically. I have used other Plumbing services before and PR Plumbing will forever be my #1 choice from here on out. Honestly folks, this company is great! This was a 5 star review unti after the tech left. Went to use my washer that is located in the garage. The technician did not put the washer drain tube back in so the first load of laundry flooded my entire 3 car garage. We had just moved into the house so a good portion of our property was still being stored in the garage. Multiple things were ruined including all of my wife's college diplomas and base of furnitures. The tech was great when he was here but that was a big oversight that caused hours of clean up and damage to irreplaceable items! Very upset!
Took them a whole month to complete a job at my house. They first blamed it on on American home shield. But when I told them it's been 3 weeks and I need this fixed and I hope American home shield does not send them again a worker there ( I think he name was letty) said don't worry we aren't doing business with them no more so you won't have to worry about that. I had to call several times a week to get status on my parts . All they could say is I'm sorry our parts department is not doing so well right now. A manager did call and apologize but this was after the plumber was given them wrong parts to do the repairs and my house . He has to leave and come back the same day to fix. From the initial assessment to the completed job it took them 1 month to fix .
We had our ac fixed about 2 weeks ago, the guys that came out were great! Friendly, knowledgeable And didn't mind my dog and son following them around! Service time was excellent and best of all its cold in my house! I would highly recommend this company!
Been with them for 3 years now and never disappoint. Honest, courteous, and professional . Never sell me anything that's what I like about them and always a fair price I could not be more pleased.
Horrible horrible company. The worst customer service and constantly lied to by employees and most of all James the project manager is not a man of his word. I purchased an A/C unit in July of 2021. Everything was good until the rain came. Woke up to my living room covered with water. I go in the attic and see a big leak that was dripping into my attic and that water damaged my sheet rock and livingroom. 24 hour service is a lie. Called from 6am to 830 am until I reached someone. Someone came came and stopped the leak. When the new AC was installed PR did not seal off previous stand holes. Poor craftmanship and total neglect on their part. After the leak it took me 2 weeks yes 14 days and a lawyer to get a hold of someone that wasnt a sales person. They did not want to meet with me or my lawyer but instead James contacted me and gave me his word that it would get fixed properly to my standards and he would compensate me for my lost wages at work due to me having to be home for repairs. Repairs got done and it looks horrible. I am not satisfied with any repairs or paint. James assured me when the paint dried we would talk compensation. Well it's been almost 3 weeks and numerous messages to James but that guy still hasnt returned my calls. I called him today Dec 27, 2021 and Amy answered the phone I asked to speak with James again and she said he was In another meeting he would call me back. Heard that before. I let Amy know that I would be heading down to the office today with my Lawyer then she put me on hold to tell him. He told her to tell me he needs to speak to the owner of PR Plumbing about the situation and call me tomorrow. So once again a 3 week wait and still no response from James. Dont use these people or company $10k I spent with them I wish I took my business elsewhere. I'm a home owner with 3 children and they could care less about the home you put all your time and investments into. They just want your money and wash their hands with you.

Very unprofessional. I can't testify about their plumbing skills because after all the missed appts, and reading reviews elsewhere, I didn't let them in my house.
The scheduling office was awesome. They promptly scheduled my appointment once they got the call. The receptionist was professional and friendly. The tech arrived on time and was quickly on the task. His diagnosis and corrective action seemed to fix the problem. Unfortunately the heater developed a secondary symptom.
On the call-back, The staff was more than eager to get me scheduled ASAP. Again, the tech arrived on time, and was quick to identify the problem. He got the heater working again, but the fix didn't last. The problem seemed to be more entailed than he expected. I wish I could give them 5 stars, but for some reason the tech wasn't able to finish repairing the unit. He referred us back to our home warranty, who reassigned the claim to a different company.

Just called this company to get a Quote for work I need done on a water heater. I said this initially to the woman who answered the phone and told her I already had the parts that were sent to me from the manufacturer.. She told me to hold on then came back on and asked if I needed a new water heater. I said No, and went on to explain the work I needed done only for her to say Ohh, well I wouldn't know. I then asked if there was someone there that could give me a quote and she said all i can say is it's 90 dollars and hour plus parts if they're needed.
My suggestion is for this woman is
1. Listen a little better to what the potential customer is saying so they don't have to repeat themselves.
2. Say upfront that you can't give any info because you know NOTHING except that it's 90 dollars and hour.

Worst plumbing staff at this company. I called to set an apt and the lady said someone would be out Tuesday between 3-6 but no body showed up. Called and left a voicemail since they are 24 hours but no one returned my call. I called again Wednesday and the lady said she is sorry and doesn't know what happened. She did send someone out but they guy did not want to go under my house to find where the water leak was coming from. He said someone would have to clean out the water puddles in the dirt first to find the problem. He said he will report this to my insurance. I haven't heard back from them and it's been almost a week. I have called over and over and no response. Finally I called my insurance to find out what is going on and they had to call the company. The company reported back that we need to hire someone to clean out the puddles before they can find the leak . Stuuuuuuuuuuuuuuupid. I called another company who is going to find out where the leak is coming from to fix it. Lazy lazy people.
PR Plumbing was sent out to my house through my home warranty company. I have a leak under my house near the kitchen sink. The technician came out and confirmed there was a leak and said I would need to stop using my kitchen sink, dish washer, washing machine and laundry sink for a week before the could make the repairs needed. I reached out to my home warranty company so I could get a cash out and go with another company that was willing to do the repairs without me having to stop using my sink. The technician has yet to give a descriptive diagnosis which has held up the cash out option. Without that diagnosis, there is no moving forward to the next step. The home warranty company has called them multiple times requesting the diagnosis. It's been almost a month and they have failed to submit that information to my home warranty company.
Horrible customer service! Waited 5 days for appointment and when they came out I was told that it will take too long to fix it this company then said they could come back in about a week....no date or time though, meanwhile we had no water...but if I would pay 600 dollars they could do it sooner. (We have a home warranty). Called another plumber and the job was done that day for less than 300.00.
The only reason I have to deal with this company is because they're contracted through my home warranty company. I'm trying desperately to get a new company through my home warranty company who is also not being helpful. I am currently very disappointed with both companies that I'm dealing with, First American home warranty and air company. I've called PR plumbing and air twice a week for going on a month and nobody has returned my calls. I do not recommend anybody working with this company because they are very unprofessional, do not get back to you in a timely manner, and I just don't trust their opinion.
Turns out the technician showed up to the wrong address. How hard is it to follow a gps. I will never do service with this company ever again because of how rude they were when I was trying to reschedule since they never showed up.
Rob came out right within the window of time (10-12 and he showed at 1030) I was given and fixed both leaks in just 20 minutes. He was both kind and professional. I used PR due to my home warranty and after reading bad reviews, was nervous. But I have nothing but positive things to say. Thanks Rob. Thank you PR plumbing.
The only positive thing I can say about this company is that the technicians were friendly. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Unprofessional. Rude. I can't believe they are still in business.
We had to get out AC replaced in the middle of the summer it took over a week for them to come out and tell is it needs replace. It then took 2 weeks for them to come back out. The ac was ordered and arrived on July 7th. We never received a call to let us know it was there or to even schedule an appointment. I called a half a dozen times to try and schedule. But was always told they would call back. They never did. It's July 23rd and a tech showed up at our home with out informing us and said there was 1200$ in modifications that wasn't covered by our home warranty. The supervisor JOSH sated if they didn't have the money in 20 mins to leave and we won't put the AC in. We did pay to get it done because it's hot in fresno, but followed up with our home warranty company, the BBB, and the contractors state licensing.
In conclusion if you like to get jerked around this is the company for you.
After having issues showing up for scheduled calls, they reached out and fixed my AC problem after I posted a poor review. I wish it didn't take a bad review to get someone to come out but the guys did a great job and were very friendly.

THEY CAME OUT PER MY HOME WARRANTY TECH THOMAS clearly did not know what they were doing shpuld of listened to the other reviews first he didn't know where the clear out was located and warranty denied claim my husband found it under in basement so tech had to come back out just to tell me not accessible and couldn't do work really!!!! He called his manager and stated will walk away from job. Really unprofessional only cause i have to select one star but it would be 0 pr negative stars!!!
Jesse came out tonight we called at 9:50 said he would be here at 10:00pm. Sure enough he's here outside our house! He was friendly and helped us get our laundry line/kitchen line cleared up. We will definitely use PR Plumbing for any other plumbing issues. Thanks Jesse for the speedy service and help tonight.
Nightmare situation this morning: I woke up to find one of the main water pipes at the back of my house gushing water into the yard.
I tried Lee's, who I've used before, but they didn't have any availability til late afternoon. PR uses a guarantee protection service so I called them next. They were able to send someone out within 2 hours, so I had the water shut off by the city council and awaited their arrival. I got a text about 15 minutes before they arrived with a link to Thomas' profile, which led me to assume they were en route. They could benefit from updating this with a clearer message.
Thomas arrived with Keven. He was very friendly and got straight to work. They were able to figure out the problem pretty quickly and explain it to us (essentially the wrong valve parts had been installed and the pressure eventually caused one of them burst). They headed straight off to get parts, came back, and put them in. They also noticed another piece that hadn't been put together correctly and said they fixed that too. The water was back on within an hour or so and the total was $150.
Everything seems to be in working order now. I'm still a bit concerned about the whole valve set-up - since they fixed another part I hope that means they've done their due diligence and didn't see any need for any other preventative measures.
Can't complain about the service! My home warranty covered everything and we had cool air blowing again within an hour of them showing up! Tech was nice and wasted no time. I'm only giving 4 stars because we had to die yesterday in 105* weather with no AC, but I know they're probably overbooked this time of year. Thankfully we got them here in 2 days, usually my warranty takes forever to get the ball rolling.
Extremely happy with PR Plumbing! Had a leak with the tub and a leak out front, both completed this week and for great prices! Cody was out tech, very quick and polite! Definitely calling them for any future issues!

If your problem is covered by home warranty, great. If you are paying out of pocket, you will be severely overcharged.
the service tech that came out was great, and I was looking forward to giving him my business. Professional, pleasant, quick.....but the company will try and gut you.
This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Less than a week ago one of their techs came out and fixed my AC unit through my home warranty company. Last night AC unit broke again so I contacted my home warranty company who put in an emergency work order due to the ages and health conditions of the homes occupants. I was told a tech would be out in less than 8 hours. Needless to say PR refused to honor their contract with my home insurance. Tried to contact someone through their answering service who were just as unprofessional and would not put me in contact with PRs on call person. Even after my home warranty company called yet again and spent over an hour trying to get us help PR told us that they would not come out and service us. My warranty company finally okayed calling a provider of my choice who actually answered his phone in person on a Sunday. After explaining the situation he already has a tech scheduled to be here no later than 8am Monday. I have filed a formal complaint with my home warranty company, will be filing one with the BBB tomorrow, and will file one with any contractors association they are a part of and I will be contacting Californias Contractor Licensing board to file a complaint their as well. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! Their lack of professionalism could have cost one if not both of my parents lives... After reading the other reviews on this company I will be forwarding them to my home warranty which will hopefully get them to find a more professional and reliable contractor to use in the future.
This company was contracted out through my home warranty (First American). Two guys showed up to my home and I pointed out the area in my garage where there was an obvious leak. I also made a few suggestions as to what the issue may be. One guy actually walked upstairs and attempted to find the leak by running different faucets, half the time it was me going up and turning items on and off. He was polite and introduced himself upon arrival. The second guy stood in my garage and did nothing. His appearance was sloppy and unprofessional. The only contribution he had was telling me how they were able to knock jobs out quickly prior to coming to my house and how they were now delayed by being at my home. He then proceeded to smoke an e cigarette and stand there in my garage doing nothing. He left several times to his van and made approximately 3 phone calls. Need I say more to describe this quality technician? It was obvious my home was not going to be a quick fix and he was being lazy. I asked if they were going to cut a hole to find the issue and all they wanted to do was place the blame on a few other areas, possibly roofing, possibly water heater hood.... And they looked at me and said well there is nothing else we can do. Here's an idea, how about you get a leak detector or some other basic plumbers tool and figure out what is wrong and why there is a leak. In other words perform a service. They then proceeded to ask for the service fee. Well it would be nice to actually receive some service prior to handing my hard earned money over to an unkempt and dirty individual who was literally putting his head on the hood of his van as I stood out there. Give them a call and hope you don't get this gem of an individual at your home. I would be embarrassed to have someone like this working for my company. I am calling First American as I write this to make sure they refund my service fee. First American agreed to send out another company at no charge. PR plumbing needs to reconsider who they send out and have representing them if they want to continue being in business. This kind of ineptitude will surely cost them in the long run.
I hired PR Plumbing for a 3rd time since March 2023. They came out on 5-23-23 to remove old water heater in the garage and install a new one. Old water heater lasted 31 years! The new one is very nice & hot water so much better & heats up faster. The men also had to install new drain pipe etc in the garage as original from 1959 was overflowing & needed to be replaced before anything worse happened. They did an excellent job as usual. I'm so glad I'm now a member of the PR Plumbing family. They are honest, professional and the employees are very nice & respectful. I also give a shoutout to John the AC guy with them as he came by when the problem in garage started & patched up a small leak on my roof on his time at no charge!! Thank you John! I give PR Plumbing a 6 star rating & you should too! Hire them for any type of work they do & you won't regret it. Thanks PR Plumbing for taking care of my plumbing needs so quickly & efficiently!! Overall they were great! Responded in a timely manner when my home warranty company submitted the request, were professional and most importantly they fixed the problem. However, they're getting 4 stars because they showed up to the appointment super early and never called to even let me know they were on their way, which they said they would do. I had a 9-11 time frame on a Saturday and they showed up at 8:30. So, when the doorbell rang I hadn't even dried my hair or picked up some things in the house. It was super embarrassing. When I mentioned they were really early they said it was because their earlier job finished faster than expected, but never apologized to me. So overall, great service, but be ready because they may show up super early and they may show up without letting you know they're on their way.
My experience with PR Plumbing was great. Dan explained everything to me as far as costs and how it worked with the warranty company. Randy and Eric, the field technicians did a great job and we're easy to work with.
I don't know why this company thinks it is ok to hire convicted felons to go into people's homes. Especially when one of those felonies is IDENTITY THEFT. Shame on you for not protecting your customers! You have lost my business and everyone in my circle! BEWARE OF THEIR EMPLOYEE JOHN WETTLAUFER!!!!! Do not let him in your home!

We called PR Plumbing for my grandmother to replace her 20 year old septic line that continuously gave her problems. She had tons of other plumbers come to try and fix but they never fully fixed it or gave her a quote that was so high it didn't even make sense to fix. When we finally found PR plumbing it was such a relief! It was so obvious that the whole crew genuinely cared that this sweet old women was having to throw her toilet paper in trash cans! They gave her a VERY reasonable rate and were so kind and helpful. Sometimes when you bring contractors in your home it can be weird or awkward but not with any of the crew! just an all around GREAT company and I would recommend ANYONE in the valley to call this company, they have good prices and are HONEST! Thats worth so much in these crazy times.

I reached out to PR Plumbing this morning (Sept 1) and spoke with Eric is customer skills where above what I expected he very courteous concerned & helpful stating that he would have someone out between 2pm and 4pm to unclog my kitchen sink.
I received a call from Tyler stating he would arrive in 10-15 minutes and he did not disappoint. Again another young man that was very courteous in explaining what was going on with my sink...I was very impressed with (Tyler's)service and mannerisms, and charges were reasonable. Tyler had my sink back working in no time. PR thank you for have these two great men on your team it makes a difference when you have pleasant employees.

I had this company come and repair my water heater tank because we had cold water running instead of warm water. They came and repaired it and charged me half a thousand dollars for my water heater to only work ONE WEEK. The water started being cold again Instead of warm after just ONE WEEK. Disappointed. They charge way too much for the quality service.

I called last night since our AC stopped working and this was a 24/7 repair but no one ever called me back. Now the next day they still haven't called. What's the point of a 24/7 business if not one calls back?
I have had them out a few times. Found them via my home warranty company that sent them. They have done a good job each time.
I was impressed with their skill and knowledge and even had them do some bigger jobs that weren't covered under warranty. This included plumbing a new stand along ice maker and a water shut off valve to the house.

Well I've read the other reviews and I was a bit skeptic when my Home Buyers Protecion plan had reffered them as the contractor to repair my A/C.
All I can say is that how they treated me and my repairs - that they were excellent.
From my first contact with my Home Protection Plan to the final repairs with PR Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning Inc. everything was done as expected and professional.
As was instructed I called (12:32 p.m. - 6/2/16) to verify an appointment time and was greeted with thier (PR) answereing machine. They returned my call at 3:12 the same day and we set up an appointment for 6/7/16 between 8:00 am and 10:00 am.
It being a very hot spell that week I understood thier work load. As I sweat thru the weekend David from PR showed up promptly at 8:05. He diagnosed the problem, explained to me what was wrong and what repairs he made and was on his way. So far all is working well. David was courteous, professional and friendly.
As I said, this was my experience with them and I was very happy.

Unprofessional!! Rip off! Lied about what was wrong and made false claims to have unneeded repairs done. Did not unclog drain like they were sent out to do.. Won't return calls!!
