Talk about dedication, expertise and commitment to excellence! These guys are the best in town, I had a plumbing emergency on a Sunday and they came right away and did not charge extra like the other companies. They fixed the leak under my sink and even called me back to check if everything was ok the next day! Who does that?? Expert Rooter! There are professional, knowledgeable and very reasonably priced. I even hired them to install a water softener, thrilled with the result and the efficiency with which they completed the job.

We had the good fortune to choose XP Plumbing for a bathroom project.  It involved cleaning out and replacing old caulking at base of a toilet.  Cameron did an excellent job. He not only responded to the job request very promptly, he worked conscientiously and very neatly. Gabriel and I connected through yelp when I requested several quotes for my leaking water heater. My water heater was installed end of 2018 so still fairly new and I tried contacting the original plumber who installed it just to be told to send him a picture and he'd get back to me, which he never did. So Gabriel & I  spoke on a Saturday afternoon he had one of his guys at my house by Monday! His tech told me that whoever installed the water heater didn't tighten the nut enough that connects the hose from the wall to my water heater so I had a slow leak. I also told him that when I ran the hot water I'd hear weird noises in the pipes and he stayed extra to assess the noise and told me it was due to the water collecting in the bottom of the drip tray that was underneath the water heater. He made sure the tray was dry and stayed longer to make sure it wasn't making noise anymore when the hot water ran. I haven't had any leaking issues since (date of service was June 18th) and no noise in the pipes anymore whatsoever. They're service and professionalism is above and beyond! Thanks guys!!

This company did a very good job to clear main drain of my house.All the drain in my house such as bath, sink, toilet got problem backing up intermittently. I called two company before. They rooted out the main drain and problem went away for a year and it came back. Finally, I called this company. This time, Joseph rooted and pulled out a huge mess of root from main drain. Bath , toilet and sink drained out so fast after that. I definitely recommend them for their excellent service, treating customer with respect and affordable price.

Great experience with them.  Needed a hydro jetting at my home and got a few quotes. They weren't the best price, but they seemed the most professional and were very close to my house, so I took a chance with them and am very glad I did.  Gabriel was very accessible (always answered his phone) and was easy to talk to.  The guys that work for him were also very friendly when they arrived at our house.  I look forward to using them for all my plumbing needs.

I have had them out to my house at least 4 times for various issues. They are always the first to respond. The work always gets done expediently and they are very professional and friendly. I recently had a soft water system installed by them and they changed out all my faucets and shower heads. These worked on this for a good chunk of the day. They came in and kept their social distance and used gloves, which is a high priority during this time. I can't say enough good things about this company. I feel it is difficult to find home repair service providers that offer good customer service.  For me, good customer service means being responsive, honest, professional, and thorough.  Eddie and his partner Jose hit those marks, and I would definitely call them out again.  In fact, this is already my second time.

They arrived right on time, were clean and friendly, and got the job done quickly and effectively. Gabriel did not try to upsell me and the price was exactly what we agreed on during the Yelp exchange. He also provided some advice about possibly taking a look at the pipes under the house as my house is old and he struggled to get the snake through to the mainline. Something I will consider in the future. I will definitely save his card for future business. In and out in 20 minutes! Especially important with a large family and one bathroom. Satisfied customer!

My Water heater went out. Gabriel showed up the next day to give a consult and by the following day he showed up early and on time to completely replace my water heater! 2nd time using Gabriel and his company, Expert Rooter. Within 24 hours, he was at my house to diagnose and fix my two toilets that seemingly had been leaking water.

Gabriel set up a camera through the pipes and determined that there were obstructions caused by tree roots. He then hydro-jetted the roots and freed all debris from the pipes. Then sealed my two toilets. All done in less than 3 hours. I had to go back to work so Gabriel texted me photos of his work when he was finished. He didn't even have to send me pictures but I feel even more confident of his great work after seeing it for myself.

I never want problems but if I ever have any, it's nice to know that Expert Rooter is just a phone call away. If you have a plumbing problem (or a water heater problem like in my previous review), don't bother looking up other companies. Just call Gabriel and get it fixed.

Last Friday we woke up to a slab leak in our kitchen. I immediately called a plumber that I have used in the past on several projects. However, he never called me back. I saw that Gabriel's company was nearby and already had outstanding ratings and reviews. I called and got an immediate response from Gabriel, who later came out that day with his cohort Eddie. They immediately ran several tests, accessed the problem and recommended re-routing the main line. They were able to get my home done as a priority. On the first day of the Job, Gabriel and Eddie were very meticulous in creating a game plan on the best way to re-route the pipes instead of just rushing in and destroying everything. When the work was started, all work was done with the utmost professionalism, neatness and keeping me informed of any changes to the game plan of the re-routing of pipes. At the end of each day, they ensured that we had a working bathroom as one of our bathrooms was demoed and would clean up every night, keeping our residence and property clean. They were constantly cleaning and picking up almost immediately behind them keeping the whole project and their work area clean and neat. Their prices are also reasonable and fair. I've been a customer for now 3 years, The first time I had call for emergency service Gabriel came on time, Clean and very professional. My kitchen sink was leaking water under the house after review of the issue. They not only repair the leak but brought it up to code with new clean out. Also was able to dry out the area under the house so we didn't have to worry about bugs. Just recently we need to remove existing pipes from garage wall and install new washing machine drain recess into wall,  the work that him and Eddie did actually was what I wanted, I was very please with the service. Additional work with the water heater was also completed that I needed. Very Exceptional Quality work take my word I am very particular about customer service and they did not disappoint.

When we found out that our water pipe leaked, we called Plumber XP.

They immediately sent their team within 15 mnt and I was impressed to see how responsive they were.

They located the pipe that had the problem and quoted us reasonable cost. And we immediately agreed to their quote and problem fixed and we both are happy.

I called because I had a clogged kitchen sink. I tried fixing it by myself and it worked a little better but still filled up. After calling them to come out. Not only did they respond it a timely manner but also quoted me a reasonable price. It turned out that not only was my immediate sink pipes clogged but backed up from the previous home owner. I watched as they pulled out years of misc crap and grease from the back run off pipe of the house. They had the tools and parts handy to just put a new system in. Thank you guys!

With family coming over for a Christmas Eve dinner, we had a main line blockage.  It couldn't have come at a worse time.  Luckily for me, Eric and later Eddie came by and quickly/professionally located the issue and got things up and running at a reasonable price.  I would highly recommend this company for any plumbing issue or for preventative maintenance.

We called Expert Rooter for a slow draining shower. They came out the same day and fixed the problem.  We were very impressed with their work ethics and professionalism. The second time we called them there was concern about the main drain. Gabriel and his crew came out and used a camera to show us the problem was roots, cracks and some holes in the clay pipes. They hydro jetted the line and installed a sleeve to prevent further problems. With Gabriel, the owner, I always felt like he was very knowledgeable and honest. He answered all our questions and concerns. He was present on the job and let us know when they found a crack in the pipe that needed to be connected to the sewer and he might have to do a different procedure with the sleeve and it would have cost more. We were happy when he told us that his guys were able to make the connection and the price wouldn't change. All of their work was done in a timely manner and in a professional way.
Gabriel's son Nathan and his crew Eddie and Eric are all very polite, hard working professionals.  We are extremely happy with Expert Rooter and are already planning to have them replace our water line from the street to the house. We didn't hesitate to recommend them to family which is also in need of a sewer line.

We had a Gas leak, he and his crew, Eric, Gabriel, and Nathan worked to find all the leaks.  Testing and retesting, adjusting and replacing critical parts of my Gas system.

A special thanks to Eric for doing the finding of the leaks underneath the house. For checking all the valves linked to the Gas system during and after the gas system final inspection.

Found these guys on Yelp when looking to have hydro jetting service done at my new house. They offered the best price from all the places I got quotes from. Even better that they  offered a discount for being a resident within their service area.

Met Gabriel and his son Nathan, and both were great guys to work with. They were friendly and courteous, and when performing the service they were very thorough, careful, and clean. They kept me in the loop in all steps involved in the process and didn't mind me being around as I observed the entire time (some contractors mind having you watching them like a hawk).

With the level of service they provided at the prices they offered, I definitely felt that I wasn't ripped off and got my money's worth. They recommended that I install a ground level cleanout (since my home wasn't originally built with one). Although not necessary, I'm all about preventative maintenance so I hired them again and just like before they delivered! And at a very reasonable and competitive price!

Highly recommend especially if you're within their service​ area. And if you're all about supporting small, family owned businesses, these are the guys to go with. Expert Rooter all the way!

So happy we switched to Expert Rooter! Had a pretty bad leak under our sink which had been accumulating water for some time. Gabriel gave us a good price and fixed everything up like new! His team was professional and trustworthy. I'm addition to fixing the leaking pipe, and surrounding pipes they replaced the garbage disposal and drains and even came back the next day to put some power under the house to remove the bad smell that had developed. I love the feature on Yelp that allowed me to reach out to them for a consultation vs calling them. This was an easy form of communication and I received a response within 10 minutes from Gabriel. I was able to book an appointment right away through Yelp which was convenient. On the day of my appointment I received a phone call letting my know a licensed technician was on their way and arrived between 11am-12pm as promised. Eddie arrived first. He was professional, very knowledgeable and most of all he listened. Gabriel arrived a short time later but had to leave to another appointment. Eddie diagnosed the issue and gave me options based on my need. He made me feel comfortable and quickly earned my trust. Eddie was able to fix the burst pipe all in the same day. I would recommend Eddie at Plumber XP to my friends and family.

The person who answered wasn't sure whether I was calling a plumber or not. Eventually admitted I had called the right number but couldn't seem to understand my  very simple plumbing issue. While I was able to get an appointment with a promise that I would get a call the day of with a time frame no one ever called and no one showed.

Beyond satisfied with their great service. Gabriel really took care of us. Our sink was clogged and he sent Eddie right over. Eddie not only fixed our sink, but explained why this was happening. While he was here, he also took care of some other plumbing questions that we had.  The price was the best that I found, compared to the other plumbers I called. I recently had a main line backup on a Saturday and contacted Expert Rooter for a quote.  Gabriel was here the next day to check it out.  There were thick roots growing into the pipes. Great service! Very thorough and honest. I found my forever plumbing service. Had a leak from bad plumbing service, job was never finished right. Expert Rooter came in repiped and put in my new faucet. Well priced and did excellent work.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Eddie and Gabriel from Plumber XP to repipe our laundry room and kitchen. They were not only responsive to all our queries but also honest about the work required and the costs involved. They are also punctual with appointments and were able to repipe our kitchen in about a day and a half. We are planning on using them in future to finish repiping the house.

Five stars even though we had a hiccup. Contacted three plumbers through yelp and two were able to come give bids. We needed a new water heater, three faucets installed and drainage from HVAC system reconnected so it wouldn't overflow. First bid came in and seemed fair. At first. Gabriel came over about 30 minutes later and his bid was 20% lower and since he was owner and seemed to know his stuff, so we went with him.

He was flexible with timing. if you look at some of my other recent reviews, you can see we used a junk hauler and electrician on a house in Brea we are cleaning out and fixing up. Because of this we have painters, flooring etc etc and have to coordinate timing with all subcontractors. Gabriel was very flexible and worked with us to get the plumbing done quickly and efficiently.

Job work was more than estimated because the house had 50 year old brass faucets that needed to be cut off with a reciprocating saw. Additionally he checked the drainage to make sure it was clear before connecting. This required him to use extra equipment that is normally used to detect slab leaks. He was able to figure out where drain lead to and cleared the drain. No extra charge for this. Nice.

The only hiccup was the one of the faucets that we bought was defective and leaked. We bought the faucet online and had to wait for another one to be delivered. In the meantime, the water had to be shut off to the house.  We had just reseeded the lawn and water was turned off to whole house and sprinklers instead of just inside. Unfortunately there was a mix up and plumber turned off water to whole house and lawn didn't get water for a couple of days. We'll see how it goes. We contacted Gabriel and he was very apologetic and offered to dummy faucet on until replacement arrived. Fortunately replacement faucet arrived at 3:00 and he installed it that afternoon.

He sent pictures (we live in San Diego area) and everything looks great. Guys went through whole house and made sure everything was good with no leaks and everything working well.

Again, highly recommend and would not hesitate using him again.

After moving into our Yorba Linda residence, we started having problems with tree roots in our sewer line. We discovered the sewer line was cracked and needed to be relined. We were fortunate enough to have stumbled upon Gabriel and Joseph from Expert Rooter who ended up doing the relining work for us. They did such a good job at a reasonable price that we decided to use them to do other re-piping and major plumbing work in our house during our remodel. They did a great job with all our remodel plumbing work. I got to know them well during the weeks we worked together and I can honestly say that they are not only knowledgeable and courteous, but are very honest and trustworthy. Not something you find everyday. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing work done. I will continue to use them for future maintenance and plumbing issues.

My water heater was leaking and I had a leak from what I thought was from my sink.
Gabriel responded right away and came by within an hour. I can't tell you if the quote was good or bad but I had a good feeling due his prompt action and he was local.  I felt he was pretty honest.
He and his son began same day removing the water heater and sealing off the connections so I could continue using water.  He came back the next day replaced  it and fixed the leak in my main sewer.

I was searching for plumbing services in my local area that are professional, reliable, respectful, in good standing and licensed. That is exactly what I found here. Originally, it was going to be approximately a two week wait before they could address the concerns, but I was willing to wait. I received a message from the owner fitting us in the following week. Appt date arrived, received a call letting me know the plumber would be arriving in 15 minutes and the plumber arrived in minutes. What I thought were small jobs that I could probably handle if I watched a few  YouTube videos. But I recognized professionals were better equipped to handle the tasks. In walks Eddie. Eddie, is polite, professional, respectful and really takes the time to hear and address the concerns. Discussed the different options available in moving forward. As it turns out...We needed more than the one facet handle repaired, shower valve installed and toilet reinstalled. Our values were frozen, facet was cracked from underneath the counter top, older homes come with their unique situations. With that be said Eddie presented the others areas that needed to be addressed and repaired that were needed to move forward. He walked us through the process, estimate came back quickly & we decided immediately to move forward with the work. A new facet was needed, which was delivered. I didn't need to go out and purchase one. Eddie took photos, sent it to another technician who searched for the same one and also presented options. I went with a slightly different option. Eddie took note that I was thinking of changing the fixtures to black and found a black facet as an option. I was reminded of the hard water here in La Habra and that it would show up. Thank you Eddie for information and reminder. We didn't go with the black facet. The job was completed efficiently and timely. No lingering mess or concerns. I now have expert plumbing locked in my contacts. Everyone I spoke with from the owner, plumber, technician and reception had been so helpful, respectful and professional. Im a resident in the 90638 area.
I have used this company for at least a dozen years.  The service(s) have ranged from Jetting out the drains to adding a washout valve on the side of the house to a Water Heater install.  Today was an install of a sink faucet and garbage disposal completed by Joshua Perez.  Another routine instance with this company: on time, work was done efficiently, respectful agent and pricing is always fair and reasonable. No Problems.

What separates this company from the rest is not only the professionalism but also the well above average customer service.  I have had Plumber (Now manager) Eddie's cell phone handy and each time I have texted or called not once has he NOT returned a call or text and given advice or solutions.

Called and they were out to my house in under 30 minutes! Kitchen sink and dishwasher were backed up. They handled it quickly and I was back in working order within the same hour I called! Super nice friendly guys. Happy to know they exist.

We have been using Expert Rooter for years , it is an Family owned business. The Father started the business and now the son currently is  in charge. They are clean and respectful of the homes they go into. I highly recommended them.

There was a bad leak in the irrigation pipes in my parents' front yard so we   called Gabriel to get a free estimate.  We received a few other estimates but their quotes all had a wide range because the source of the leak could not be determined without digging. Gabriel also came to a similar initial conclusion but  went the extra mile to do some digging (no charge), found the leak, and gave us a very reasonable quote. Gabriel and his team were very kind, hard working, and professional. My parents have designated him as our go to plumber from now on. Thank you Gabriel and Expert Rooter team!

Gabriel was kind and professional, and his son Nathan did a great job fixing our water heater. Gabriel explained to me what needed to be fixed and gave us a couple of options. He also spoke kindly to my daughters and also shared he had another child who was the same age as mine, so that was nice to know that he was family-oriented and prioritized local residents. I had yelped other people but decided on him bc he gave a discount to people in this area and he also gave me his number and was able to come the same day, which I preferred bc other people asked if they could come the following morning, or they asked me how much water was in the water heater, which I had no clue about! I would definitely recommend again in the future.

Eddie did an excellent job replacing my closet flange and installing my toilet. Very professional!

Our gas line was being replaced, by a separate company. As they were digging for the line, the main water pipe got accidentally hit and busted open. Eddie was sent out to fix that water line, in the pouring rain while trying to get the glue for the pipe to dry faster. Once both pipe and gas line were fixed, Eddie came back inside to relight water heater, which led to his discovery that water heater had died. It was suppose to be the end of his shift. Without a worry, Eddie stood to replace the water heater to make sure we had warm water. Gabriel brought him the new water heater and also stood longer to help out. Real professional guys and good people. They cleaned up well after the job too. Thank you gentleman. I've also had a few visits from Hugo in the past with other jobs. Hugo is always a happy person and shows he is concerned with resolving a situation. Thank you!
