Josue and Jerome removed 2 sections of our covered patio that were falling apart. They were on time, polite and conscientious. Had a project to repair the backdoor and locks, seal a gap in my patio cover which caused leaking during the rain and fixing a stuck front door lock. Mr G called me back right away, and after texting him some pictures he was able to come out the same day. After giving an overview of what needed to be done and an estimate, he assured me it could all be completed in 1 day the next day. Eric and Jerome arrived early the next morning and all 3 started working long and hard into the early evening, finishing the job after about 10 hours. They tried to clean up pretty well after, but left a metal bar in the backyard and caused a layer of dust on everything. Overall satisfied and happy it was able to be done soon

We had a drainpipe (slowly) leaking behind our dishwasher that went undetected for quite a while.  Once the leak was identified and fixed, we had quite a bit of water damage behind our dishwasher and kitchen cabinet areas.  We had damage to the drywall, a wood cabinet; a toe kick that needed to be removed, created and replaced then anchored to the cement floor.  We called Mr. G Contractor.  He saw the job and understood what we needed done.  We got a quote, and the job was scheduled.  Mr. G Contractor fixed the damage to the wall and wood cabinet areas.  He communicated well, was on time and respected our property.  We would highly recommend Mr. G Contractor.

Can't really speak to the quality of work because he has flaked on me twice in a month, both appointments, no call, no show, pretty disappointed.

Mr. G handyman is the best.  He was able to replace  my kitchen light fixture. He's on time and courteous.  I needed my pool nylon fence to keep the dogs from going to the pool area. He was able to devise a way to keep the dogs out.  Recommend him completely!!  Will use him again.

My project was for a small bathroom remodel and the crew consisted of Josue and and his brother. On Day 1 of the job Josue wasn't present for the entire day and eventually left his brother to finish up the work for the day. Day 2 arrives and Josue is pretty much absent the whole day which was alarming since the workload for Day 2 would definitely entail the bulk of the work. I'd arrived home on Day 2 of the project and frequently went back to check on the progression of the project. At first glance,  I noticed that one of the two light fixtures was higher than the other. This was appalling and I would think that his brother would have taken notice too and corrected it. The placement was so bad that I could literally see the hole behind the baseplate of the fixture where the wiring goes. I advised him that it needed to be corrected and lined up with the other fixture but there was a language barrier so he ended up calling Josue who'd been out and about on other business. What transpired next was basically a three way video chat between myself, Josue and his brother with me addressing my concerns to Josue and him relaying the information to his brother. His brother made the adjustment to the light as I'd asked, although it would ultimately still not be level and would need to be adjusted again on Day 3 of the project. His brother also plumbed the vanity prior to confirming placement with us which prompted another 3 way video chat with Josue. Consequently, I informed Josue via video chat  to tell his brother to unhook all of the plumbing so that we could position the vanity where we actually wanted it-- his brother then proceeds to unhook all of the plumbing before eventually taking a lunch.  After his brother returns from lunch, I eventually grow frustrated with not being able to communicate with him directly and had him call Josue on the phone for another video chat. I knew the scope of the rest of the work and it would entail at least two guys. I address my concerns with Josue and urge him that he should be present to assist and guide his brother. Josue claimed to have several other engagements for that day and unfortunately would not be able to make it to my home on the day my project was set to be completed. He basically left his brother there to tackle the project on his own and his brother wasn't doing the level of work I'd expected. I basically tell Josue that it's unacceptable and that I hired him as the licensed contractor to take charge of my job so I wasn't quite understanding how he's barely been there at this point. He apologizes but tells me he has other commitments so we mutually agree that his brother pack up for the day but they would both be there the following day to complete the project. Day 3 arrives and the crew arrives on time and begin work immediately. I'll just mention the few things that took place on Day 3 which is what ultimately led to me leaving this 3 star review. My girlfriend and I were called back to confirm placement of the medicine cabinets. The cabinets had several pre drilled mounting holes behind the mirrors that you could use anchors or screws in order to mount to the wall. Josue opted to not use anchors and screw the mirrors directly to the studs which was fine. The problem is that one of them drilled two screws right through the front part of the medicine cabinet to the stud. We should have been consulted prior to drilling additional holes into a beautiful cabinet when there were plenty of other mounting options behind the mirror that will also line up with the stud. Later, I wander back to the bathroom and notice that the backsplash on the vanity has thinner caulking on the right side and much thicker caulking on the left side. When asked why it looks that way, Josue replies, your wall is bent. I turn away puzzled but later discover that if they simply pushed the left side of the vanity flush against the wall as they'd done the right then the excessive amount of caulking wouldn't have been necessary since both sides of the backsplash would have been flush against the wall. Overall, Josue is a nice guy who charges a fair price and does decent work. However, the main reasons for my 3 star review is the fact that Josue was pretty much non-existent for the first 2 days of my project and left his brother to fend for himself, yet his brother clearly lacks the experience and knowledge that he has. Furthermore, the errors they made during the remodel could have been avoided had they consulted us prior to actually doing anything. They would literally do the work first then consult with us after the fact. This could have easily been a 4 or 5 star project but it's simple mistakes, a lack of attention to detail, and not being present in general for the first couple of days that earned you 3 stars.

Great service! He built and installed handrails for my moms front and back porch, fixed the sprinklers, and also fix the gate. He arrived on time and was friendly and efficient. I recommend you call him.

We needed someone to help fix an issue with our rain gutter and had contacted several companies that did not even bother to respond and the one that did respond was a roofing company that wanted thousands of dollars (they wanted to replace the roof!). I contacted Mr G not really sure if he would be able to address our issue but had fingers crossed! He is very quick to respond and called when he said he would and when he and his assistant came to fix our gutter issue, the fee was very reasonable. We are already planning to call him back to help with other home improvement projects that we need done. Seriously, after contacting more than 6 companies and either being ignored completely, or being price gouged.. Mr G was professional, prompt and fairly priced. He and his assistant finished our gutter repair in a very timely manner and my husband and I are so pleased with the outcome.

Josue came to remove an 8x8 thick beam across the top of my fireplace wall. It was approximately 12 ft long and very heavy. He did it gracefully with minimal damage to the wall which is fine because we are planing to install a wall cabinet over the holes. Clean up after himself and reasonable price. Had all the proper tools and covered the floor to minimized clean up afterwards. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and we'll be using his service again.

Did a great job repairing underneath our kitchen sink after a leak got to the particle board that was there before. I had a broken door fence and a brick wall in my backyard that needed repairs. I reached out to Mr. G via Yelp for a quote, he responded within an hour, he was able to stop by the same day to look at the repairs and provide a cost. I was pleased with his pricing, he also explained in details how he was going to repair the door fence and brick wall. I was scheduled for a Thursday, but he was able to have someone ready to start on the repairs a day before my appt., this was good news for me, the sooner the better. The final results look GREAT, they took their time and put in quality work on the repairs. I am VERY happy with the services overall. I definitely recommend Mr. G !

My husband and I needed somebody to remove our plantation shutters, as well as paint and patch any possible damage under as we bought new blinds. My husband tried but ended up making a small hole in our wall (not his speciality) I found Josue on Yelp and 1000000% would recommend him! We had somebody else quote us prior and it was definitely higher than I wanted to pay, Josue provided us with an affordable option that would actually look nicer than the other recommendation, adding trim to our existing windows not only saved us money but made them look soooo much more modern! Mr G replaced subfloor, drywall and a door frame after a water leak caused a lot of damage.

I hired Josue to renovate both bathrooms in my house.  They were very outdated and thanks to Josue's hard work, they are now modern.  He took out the old vanities and installed new ones; he removed the old lighting fixtures and installed new ones; he put in new mirrors as well.  While he was here, he also informed me of a broken valve outside which I had him fix as well.

His pricing is very reasonable and he is easy to work with.  I also appreciate that he picked up my purchases/supplies from Home Depot on his way to my place.  For the two days he was doing the work, he always had a smile and a positive attitude.  He kept me informed throughout the renovation process.  I will be hiring him again.  Thanks, Josue!

Josue and his team did an excellent job. We needed our bath/shower combo replaced due to a large crack forming on the bottom of the tub that was not repairable. We called around several places and everyone else wanted to charge astronomical prices. Josue gave us a much more reasonable estimate/bid. Him and his crew also went above and beyond for us. I just wanted to say they I had a really good experience with Mr G. From responding in a timely matter, to the quality of work, Mr G was great. I had gutters on the second story that was falling a part. I also had a gate that was falling a part and not closing properly. He repaired both in a couple of hours. Price seemed fair in that only as few people even quoted me.

Mr.G was very professional and was able to make the repairs I needed done to my faucets. He was also able to place a chandelier I had recently purchased .
