Jonathan means well as a plumber, and he's licensed.  But, he does not follow through on his agreements, appointments, nor does he do complete work.  After fiddling around with my tub and shower, he basically gave up on fixing things and stopped returning my messages and calls.  I have had to find a new plumber to fix the things he left incomplete and to fix the original problems.  

Although he appears to have done a decent job on my new tankless water heater, all the other work was left incomplete.  It seems like he prefers to do rough plumbing instead of finish work.

I cannot recommend him as a plumber.  The experience has been bad for me and I overpaid for the work done.  I paid well over $4000 to him, and I don't even have reliable hot water.

Jonathan and his companion Juan got my restroom shower valve replaced a lot faster than what was predicted during the quote. Everything came out so clean that you couldn't even tell that work was performed other than the shower valve being new and now working properly without leaking. I highly recommend them 10/10

If you're looking for an honest company that is locally owned and operated with wonderful customer service Mid Valley Rooters is it! Jonathan is very knowledgeable and will help you save where possible. I had a water heater issue and called him at 9:30pm and he came out first thing in the morning to work on it. Not only did he install a new unit he helped us understand how the unit worked and how to maintain it ourselves. We'd highly recommended Mid Valley Rooter Services.

I needed service as soon as possible, to my surprise they were able to incorporate my service the same day I called! Very professional, helpful and knowledgeable. Sink was fixed fast! Thank you so much for going out of your way and moving your schedule around to help with sink issue! Life saver!!

We experienced some moderate flooding. Jonathan came ASAP and quickly diagnosed the problem and corrected it. He also educated me every step of the way explaining how the system works and how to properly fix the issue. I found him to be honest and hard working. It's a stressful situation for a homeowner to experience any kind of flooding, and my impression was that he understood that too.

Save yourself don't use them. If I can put a zero rating I would. After we paid them, they didn't finish the job and left the work area a mess and dirty. We hired them because our main water line was leaking. And that was the only job we needed them to do. They said they can fix our sprinkler system which we haven't really used since we just move into our house for a little cost they said so that we can start using it. So we agreed and my husband paid for the service already. Now they said they need to come back because they need to fabricate a part. And didn't come back after 2 weeks. And then they just show up to our door without any kind of notice that they're coming when we are just about to leave to go for an  important appointment. So we had to reschedule for the next week. Guess what? It took them 2 weeks before they came back. So I thought they were gonna finish the job. And they said they had to run to Home Depot for a part. They didn't come back. A lot of text messages and calls were made in between the process. This is just very unprofessional. They don't respond well. We can't keep chasing them forever. And up until now the job is not yet done. Don't use this company!!!

Update: Since I posted this review they reached out to complete the job the next day. Job is done I guess. But still a terrible experience for me.

I had a leaking shower faucet. Jonathan was able to help fix it to where it doesn't leak anymore. No more wasting water. Definitely recommended.

Our toilets wouldn't flush on a Saturday night after plunging and snaking them. I searched for plumbers on Yelp and started calling each one of them. Some didn't answer or return my voicemails and others were too busy to come out that night. Jonathan answered my call and was able to swing by to take a look. Long story short, our sewer line was rooted out and he was able to unclog the toilets so that we could still use them, but we had to also get our old (terracotta) sewer line replaced.

The whole project is finally finished and my husband and I are very happy with the job Jonathan did. He was professional, reasonably priced, and explained everything that needed to be done before doing anything and made sure we understood what he was doing and why. My husband and I are both pretty handy, but trenching our yard to replace the sewer line is outside of our abilities so we were happy to get a plumber who wanted to help us without taking advantage of us or overcharging us. Hopefully we don't have any major plumbing problems like this one again, but we know we have a great resource who will help us if we need it.

Our household plumbing had been running a little, then a lot, more slow than usual. I called Mid Valley Rooter and Jonathan answered right away. He was courteous and knowledgeable and we scheduled a visit for his to assess our situation.
He arrived promptly at our appointed time. D started our project. Timing was perfect as we were likely days to hours away from a backup and overflow.  He worked hard to get a pumping service out immediately and to our surprise, out tank exceeded the volume of the truck that had been sent out. Needless to say, the pump service had to come out a second time the following morning. Apparently they intended to charge additional fees but Jonathan stood up for us and the original agreement and got them to honor that commitment.
He and Alex got our system cleaned out and installed risers for easier access in the future.
Jonathan did a great job, communicated throughout the process and worked overtime to get the job done in less than 2 days - delayed primarily because the pump service was not able to empty our system in a single visit.
He was clear and upfront about what needed to be done and what the cost would be. He did not exceed the estimate and agreed upon price and we are very pleased with the end result. Would highly recommend. We are planning some interior plumbing projects and our first call will be to Mid Valley Rooter.

I had hired Jon and his colleague to do a plumbing project at my house. Though in my opinion, the quoted price for the plumbing job was a bit on the higher end, I hired him anyway because of the good reviews he got.

He was very professional with the work and although there was a hiccup during the job he made it right. I am overall satisfied with his work and professionalism. Thanks Jon.

Let me first start off by stating that I'm traditionally not the type to write reviews. I'm more apt to taking to write a bad review than I am to writing a good review. So that should tell you that something has to have happened for me to be writing this review here.

What stated out as a request for a simple toilet repair quote has now turned into us having secured our go to guy for all of our plumbing services & repairs. Let me echo what some of the other reviewers have previously stated: Jonathon is a true professional who has vast experience and knowledge of his trade. He was extremely easy to work with. He's very responsive which was a real surprise to me. Most businesses give you the run around and say they'll work you into a schedule that always seems to be busting at the seams. He made me feel like my needs were a priority and that no job was too big or too small. If I needed him, he was gonna be there.

I am very appreciative of the level of customer service I received from Jonathon. Day 1. we discussed my needs - I had a toilet that had a slow leak and needed to be repaired. Day 2. Jonathon was at my house ready to tackle the job. He analyzed the issue, gave me an initial assessment of the situation and then provided me a solution and a price. All of which was reasonable. We agreed to the work that needed to be done and to what he would charge me and off he went. He was very thorough in his explanation of what the issue was, the process by which to fix it, and what my options were. He was extremely patient and didn't seem to be rushed. Experiences in the past have taught me that time is of the essence. Although I know there's other work to be done, he never came across as someone who wanted to be in and out and onto the next job. He proceeded to fix my toilet and before I knew it, he was done. He was fast and efficient all of which I can appreciate.

There was a time when business was done with a simple handshake. Your word was your bond and also your reputation. You trusted the people you did business with to look out for your best interest and not try to get over on you. Unfortunately those days are long gone. I'm happy to say that Jonathon is a throwback to those days. He works hard and it's easy to see that he takes great pride in his work and in the level of customer service he provides to his clients. I'm sold on this guy and on his business. He's my guy for any and all work I may ever need going forward. I would recommend him without hesitation for your plumbing services and repairs. He will go above and beyond for you just as he did for me. It's evident that every customer is important to him. You can see it  in the attention he gives you and you can see it in the way he explains the problems and the solutions. He's a real diamond in the rough!! If you want the job done and done right, he's your guy!!

I never do reviews but this company was quick to assist and provided excellent customer service while standing by their initial price without surprises. Highly recommended!

Last night (Friday), I noticed that one of the bathroom floors were flooded. Found Mid Valley Rooter Services on Yelp as I read and write reviews. Although they were unable to come the same night, Jonathan was able to direct me on what to do via FaceTime and we discovered that the toilet tank had a large crack that was causing the leak. Jonathan came out this morning (Saturday) to replace the toilet and fix a valve. He was very informative and took the time to explain everything. I am grateful that I was able to find someone to come out on a Saturday and during this COVID-19 pandemic. I would highly recommend Mid Valley Rooter Services for all of your plumbing needs. I noticed that they offer other services, so I am having him quote another job. I will be using Mid Valley Rooter Services for all of my plumbing needs. Thank you Jonathan!
