Messaged these guys to fix a leaky/running toilet. Jeff messaged me back basically instantly, said he could come right on out, gave me an estimate in the message. Jeff and Tyler were here within 20 minutes, another 20 minutes and it was completely fixed and they were ready to go.

It was easy to reach Jeff and schedule an appointment. He came with his son and gave me a reasonable quote to repair a toilet and a faucet. It took some time to diagnose and repair the low flow issue with the faucet, I am sure much longer that was anticipated at the time he quoted me a price, but Jeff and his son kept at it until it was fixed and stayed with the quoted price. They were nice guys and very professional. I highly recommend them!

For starters, Jeff and Tyler were total life savers! My water heater rusted out on me which caused it to leak, leaving my garage a watery mess. I called Jeff and told him what happened. Within a few hours he was at my place and ready to install a new water heater. Within a couple of hours Jeff and Tyler installed a brand new water heater which looks amazing! They were very professional throughout the entire process, and answered all of my questions. Jeff and Tyler were honest with me from the start, and didn't try to upsell me or scare me into buying something that I didn't need. Kinda late in getting this review up...
I bought a house that had some plumbing issues almost as soon as I moved in. The drainage of both the sinks and the tub was slow to start out and then quickly developed a bad clog where nothing would drain period. I called Jeff Boaz plumbing and they sent two really nice, professional guys over right away and they got the clog situation cleared out. We got to talking about how I just bought this house... which lead to them checking my water heater for me. I knew that it was old when I bought the house, and they pointed out that since the manufacturer's warranty period and expired by quite awhile, the unit could very well fail at any time which would mean water flooding into the hallway and ruining the new flooring... because, as they pointed out, the pressure relief valve was just directed out into the water heater closet (as opposed to going outside or somewhere that it can't ruin the flooring). They quoted me a really good price on a new pro water heater, came back a few days later and installed it, and redirected the pressure relief valve to go outside the house. These guys were very responsive and a pleasure to do business with. I told my sister about them when she had a plumbing issue at her house and she was pleased with their service as well. I was out of town on business and my son called me asking should the water heater be doing this?? I wouldn't be writing this review if it was working correctly . Called Jeff and within an hour, I had someone at my house evaluating the problem. By the end of the day, I had a new water heater, installed and a gas line fixed that could have been a problem. Fast! I very highly recommend Jeff Boaze Plumbing. I had an issue yesterday and had to turn off all the water to my house. Jeff was prompt, kind and extremely knowledgeable. It was kind of a complicated job, but he and his son Tyler were able to get us up and running the next day. He made us a priority since he knew we had no water. It was a pleasure listening to dad and son work side by side so well. They made a nightmare plumbing situation not so scary and are two of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet. Jeff came out on short notice when my water heater sprung a leak the other morning, he was there in about 45 minutes. I ended up needing a whole new water heater, which he offered to do that day. I ended up having him do it the next day so I could shop around some, but he was by far the best price (a good $300 less than Home Depot's best price guarantee). Whole job was done in about 2 hours and he was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Would highly recommend him and will definitely be using him again in the future.

Jeff and his son Tyler did a awesome job getting my landscape drains opened up. Even when it looked like an impossible job they did not give up the fight of those nasty roots from my redwood trees that took over my drains. This morning Chris from Jeff Boaze Plumbing arrived here right on time, and replaced our old garbage disposal (which was smoking when he first turned it on to check it out). He gave me some good information about stopping problems before they start, like running a bit of dish soap through it once in a while. Then he moved on to the master bathroom and replaced some of the old insides of the toilet that had been running by itself at various times throughout the day. No more of that now! He was pleasant, knowledgeable, efficient and tidied up everything when he was finished. A very nice young man who solved my top two problems in just over an hour this morning. We found a leak in our nine year old hot water heater and called Jeff Boaze Plumbing. We did get a couple of quotes on the job but Jeff's crew came in with a better price. Zach and Chris came out with the new heater and did a great job. You just can't find a couple of guys any better than these two. They were friendly, knowledgeable, worked quickly and paid a lot of attention to the overall quality of work. Something as simple as a vent pipe gave them some problems. The previous pipe was held together with pipe tape but through the years it lost adhesion and the heater was pretty much venting into the attic. The new pipe was giving them problems and didn't want to attach the way it was made so they used self tapping screws on the entire pipe to ensure it would stay connected. Perfect! As I said, they really knew what they were doing and had a great sense of humor at the same time. The job was completed in a timely manor and so far, no problems. They explained how to make adjustments and gave some hot water heater advice! Great guys, acceptable price, quality work and completed in time. What more can you ask for?

I sent an email late on Sunday to Jeff Boaze Plumbing for a non urgent replacement of a hot water 9 year old recirculating pump. Jeff called me first thing Monday morning and was able to come out the same day. Jeff and Tyler quickly identified the issue with my old pump and installed a new one. First off, they are both genuinely nice people. I was very impressed with their professionalism, attention to detail on the install, and level of knowledge about the pump options. We also had a very detailed conversation about my Phyn smart water meter. I was again so impressed at how much they knew about this fairly new device and they help me troubleshoot issues around it. All this service was at a very reasonable price. I am very happy to have found such a great team. I will defiantly use them again and recommend them to my friends and family.

Jeff is amazing! I had a Watermain leak and called Jeff. He came the next day and fixed it close to the quoted price over the phone. I was not able to be home during the repair and Jeff sent me a picture of the crack along with other communication by text. Though I never met Jeff, the job was done thoroughly and The area of my yard he worked on was almost unnoticeably the same as before he had done the work. He left me an invoice under my mat and I mailed in the check. I have not met him however, I feel that his communication, workmanship, and evidence of a thorough job lets me know the type of person he is. I appreciate him so much!

I like doing business when it's a family business and I really liked doing business with JB Plumbing. Jeff and his son, Tyler, we're at my house within an hour of my water heater going out. Unfortunately, we found that the water heater gave up the ghost, so it needed replacing. Tyler was a pleasure to work with and I've rarely meet a business person with a more positive outlook. And that was in spite of him spending hours in my garage when it was over 100 degrees outside. Tyler completed the job quickly and clean-up before leaving, which is something that not many in the service business feel is necessary. These guys are awesome. Came with super short notice for a plumbing issue I had in the master bathroom which was really inconvenient. Jeff's son came over, was super chill and helped out with the plumbing. Toilet flushes amazing and I haven't had problems since. Thank you!!

I called 2 different plumbers before finally calling Jeff. Neither one of them called me back for 2 days, so Jeff was the first one who actually answered my call and thank god he did. I called Jeff around noon, and they were at my house before 4:00 pm the same day, and that was because of my work schedule. I had a leak coming from underneath my toilet, and even though I spoke with Jeff, Tyler and Chris were the ones who came and fixed the problem. Both men did a fantastic job, and were real good guys to boot. Within an hour of arrival, the issue was fixed, and the price was completely reasonable. I would recommend these guys if you are in the market for a reliable fix (who isn't?), with someone who actually makes good on their time. Thank you so much Jeff, Tyler, and Chris. We had an oopsy while doing a small home improvement job and accidentally put a screw through a water pipe - water started spraying. After turning off the main valve to the house, we called Jeff Boaze Plumbing and they answered immediately (no voicemail, no answering service, an actual person). They were able to come to the house within 45 minutes - wow...as you can imagine in our situation, we were thrilled with the quick response.

They were timely, friendly, professional, and did a great job. The work was done so fast and even though this was an urgent need, the costs were fair and a good value.

I especially appreciated them wearing masks during this pandemic.

I called Jeff for help with a leaky valve from the water line that refills our swimming pool. This team was fantastic to work with. Jeff answered my call immediately, was very professional, asked what the issue was and had a team out to our place within two hours of my call.
We had a bathroom upstairs that had been leaking and producing water stains on the ceiling downstairs.
Chris and partner cut out the ceiling, went to get the parts, and had everything repaired before dinner time :)

I was really impressed. I live out of the area and had an issue with the water heater at my mom's house when visiting. Has different features than I am familiar with and I could not get the thing to startup. She told me she trusted Boaze plumbing from the various jobs at the house over the years and called them.
Afterwards I can see why. Tyler came over and walked me through everything I was not finding in the manual, including showing me how to setup the water heater for longer life. Very knowledgeable, friendly and professional.

I called Jeff Boaze plumbing because our water heater was leaking. Our water heater was the original and over 20 years old. I called Jeff and explained the situation. He sent Tyler and Chris over and they were here within 15 minutes!

Tyler and Chris were very professional and checked out the water heater. They agreed that a new one was needed. They installed a Rheem, 50 gallon, water heater the following morning. They were very thorough in their work and we now have a new water heater we can trust.

We have a magnificent jet bathtub that I haven't been able to use for almost a year, handle came off when the cleaners were in there, called another company who came out for an estimate and said it would have to have the whole unit replaced and because it was a hard-to-find piece, would have to be custom ordered and would cost $440. We said no, but with my newly diagnosed arthritis I've been really wanting to soak in a hot bath with jets blasting around me. Looked on Yelp and Jeff Boaz had great reviews. He came yesterday (the 8th), no need to replace anything, just put back in. Without asking he checked and tightened the shower and the sink faucets- cost was less than half the original quote from the other company. Will NEVER use another plumber again-and you shouldn't either!!

There are no amount of words to describe the level of gratitude I feel towards Jeff. I had a plumbing emergency in my home, unfortunately for me it was 8pm on a Friday night. Every plumber I called either did not return my call or wanted to push me off until Saturday morning but having only one bathroom in my home waiting was not an option. Jeff returned my call promptly, understood my situation, and was at my home within 20 minutes. Jeff fixed my problem and my bathroom was fully functional again. Amazing service!! I called at 11 am this morning and by 11:40 Jeff and his son were installing a new garbage disposal for me. Jeff did some work for me. Was very friendly and I was amazed by how his employees were. Such gentlemen and extremely knowledgeable. His quote was more than others (475 versus 350) but I was willing to pay it because Jeff is extremely knowledgeable- no question he would do it right and wouldn't cut corners. I'm standing outside my house on a Saturday with no water to my house and I have a six week old baby because my mother decided she was going to fix a leaky faucet, turned off the main and now we cannot get it turned on.
Jeff so far is amazing and willing to come by on his day off to help fix or asses the situation. These 5 stars are simply for him being kind enough to take the time away from his life to help. At this point in time I will keep him in my bookmark and recommend him to anyone. I'll update with results later.

Complete ripoff! They charged us $185 for a 15 min job to unclog a bathtub. We were waiting for an estimate and instead they unclogged the bath tub without providing an estimate and told us the charge is $185. We were shocked. When my wife asked Tyler why so much, his answer was even more shocking.. well, it's expensive to live here and $185 is just our charge to show up. Well, then why were we not told about this show up fee when we scheduled the visit over phone? This is an unfair business practice and I would never use them again in the future.

Responding to Tyler's response: That is incorrect. Neither her nor I authorized you to complete the work. We were under the impression all along that you were doing an inspection so you could give us an estimate. You eventually told her $185 is your fee to just show up. If so, why was that fact not mentioned when scheduling the visit? Isn't it unfair business practice to have a fee to show up like you told her and not mention it to the customer when scheduling a visit?

Jeff repaired our leaky sewer drains a few years ago. We liked his work and trusted his advice. Recently, I saw a bulge in my kitchen ceiling and knew I had a plumbing problem. I called Jeff again who answered the phone himself and then called me back to make an appointment. He and Chris showed up on time, diagnosed the problem and had it repaired right away. Since we've owned our home we have tried a few different plumbers but they never quite satisfied us. Our bathroom faucets needed to be replaced so I gave Jeff a call in the morning and they had 3 separate faucets installed by that afternoon. All workers were cleanly dressed, polite and knowledgeable. Prices were competitive and they take credit cards. The best thing was that Jeff answers his phone, responds quickly, and has a very flexible schedule. He never tried to sell me on anything I didn't need and seems like he is a no nonsense type of guy! One of the guys on his crew even asked if I had any other plumbing questions for them to take a look at while they were there. I had a cap missing from a valve under a sink and they soldered me a cap for no charge! This above and beyond level of service will lead me to call Jeff Boaze for all my plumbing needs.

It started with a leaking outdoor faucet that my husband attempted to fix himself. After many attempts and many trips to the hardware store, he gave up, called it quits and told me to contact a plumber ASAP.
Not knowing a local plumber, I went on Angie's list and within minutes we received a call from Tyler of Jeff Boaze Plumbing. After explaining our problem, he told us he'd be here in 20 minutes and he and his dad Jeff were here in 20 minutes! My husband and I were amazed at how quickly they solved our problem.
They not only took care of our initial problem but discovered our water heater was leaking. We knew it was old and would have to be replaced one day, but if it wasn't for Tyler checking a turn off switch on the water heater, we don't know how long this would have gone on.
Even with their very busy schedule, they said they could install a new water heater the following day which they did.
Tyler and Chris did the installation without ever stopping to take a break.
They were fantastic and did fantastic work.
We will definitely use them again and highly recommend Jeff Boaze Plumbing to all

Had a clogged mainline so I called their number. Jeff had two guys (Chris and Zack) out in 20 minutes. They showed up and quickly got to work. They were polite and friendly and worked fast. They explained it all to me as they went. The price was good, especially for how responsive they were. They had the mainline clog out within an hour (probably less) despite my old plumbing. I had a leak under my sink and found it was coming from my garbage disposal. I called Jeff and he said they could come out immediately. They replaced my disposal with a 1/2hp Insinkerator(just like what was original but 1/3 hp over 17 years old) Took about 1 hr total time. Tyler(Jeff's son) did the work. They were very professional and courteous!!!!!

On a recent Sunday night my husband went out to the garage and discovered water leaking from our water heater....it was all over the floor! We turned off the water supply to the water heater and I went to Yelp to find some plumbing help. Jeff Boaze Plumbing responded within an hour, gave me a very reasonable price quote, and we setup an appointment for first thing Monday morning.

Tyler and Chris showed up right on time. Within an hour, they had diagnosed the problem (my 15 year old water heater had bit the dust), drained it, and removed it from my garage. They proposed reasonable price options for replacement...the 50 gallon heater was the same price as the 40 gallon, so I went with the larger option. By 2pm that day, my amazing new water heater was installed and we were able to take showers again. Less than 24 hours after our issue happened, it was fixed. My husband and I couldn't be happier! Tyler and Chris were professional, friendly, down to earth, and very informative. It's hard to find a good plumbing company you can trust....this is one of them. This review is from the heart. I wasn't paid or asked to write it, even though it may sound like it. Jeff and his associate, Chris, came out yesterday to install a hose bib for me so I could power wash my cement patio. They were efficient, very kind, and really responsible. They are also very professional. First thing, Jeff handed me his card. Then they noticed my carpeting and immediately put on booties over their shoes. Later I put down drop clothes so they wouldn't have to keep doing that as they went back and forth to their truck. The hose bib is a very wonderful addition to my home, and I will use it a lot for many things. Call Jeff! You will not be disappointed!

That guy had no business card. He chided me for wanting him to take off his shoes. He gave me a verbal bid but wouldn't write it down and also said he wouldn't give a written receipt - that it would be emailed to me. Said he was licensed but showed no proof of it. This is the best experience my husband and I have had with any repairs we've ever had on our house. Jeff and his son, Tyler, were available to come to our house within a half hour of receiving our call. They repaired our water main valve with no problem and were done within an hour. The price was very reasonable, too. The previous plumber we had called took 4 hours to come out, and when they got here, they said there could be all kinds of issues with the repairs and that there would be added fees if those issues arose during their repair. They tried to upsell, too, saying that our final cost could be about $760, which was way more than what we understood the price of this type of repair would be.
Jeff is definitely our plumber from now on, and we highly recommend him to anyone!

I'm reading everyone's review on Jeff Boaze Plumbing . I have to agree on the fact the he has been quick to respond to our phone call. He came out to fix our stopped up sink and another time for our sewer problem. But I feel he is not experienced in fixing stopped up sewer problems. He came out to our home the first time and didn't fix the problem. He came out a second time and still didn't fix the problem then he came out with a camera the third time and saw what was stopping up the sewer but didn't get the copper pipe out of the sewer line. He didn't take the extra step to fix the problem. Each time he charged me for not completing the stopped up sewer. The forth time I called him he said get someone else he was not coming out anymore. This was $570.00 later and still didn't get any results. I would not use him for any type of backed up sewer or sink problems. The guy doesn't know what he is doing but is only good at taking peoples money.

Speedy and courteous service !
Jeff knew what the problem was and efficiently fixed it.
He had to work in an area that was matted with vines. He could easily have trimmed them back and had an open work area, but he chose to carefully remove and replant them, creating much more work for himself. As the homeowner I greatly appreciate his extra effort in saving my plants ! The work area was cleaned up and back to the original look when he was done.

Our toilets were leaking and water was backing up into our showers. We first called Bonney and they said they were going to snake the line outside. They looked at it and said it was just an in not an in / out. They quoted $2700 to dig a new line. That price seemed steep so we called Jeff Boaze. They talked my husband through looking at the line over the phone, and turns out it did go in both directions. They came over to fix it right away, only charging $200. The people at Bonney were either incompetent or trying to rip us off.

Best plumbers ever! Wouldn't use anyone else! We needed some non-emergency repairs: dripping faucet, tight shower valve, replacement for kitchen soap dispenser, toilet shut off valve and a run on toilet repaired. They ran into a couple of problems with the shower valve and it's previous repair -which caused the problem we were having. Luckily they were able to correct the shower and repair or replace all the other things, too. These guys do great work and don't rip you off. When you need a plumber call Jeff.

Jeff took my call right away, agreed to be there the next morning at 9am, which he did. I pointed out the pre-work I had done and he kindly didn't' tell me how much I had F***ed it up. I left a message on Sunday when I started having problems with my water heater and they got back to me super fast. I described the problem over the phone and even though my heater is 16 years old was not pressured into replacing it right away. Changing the settings on it was able to get me some more lifetime out of my heater, and they walked me through all of this over the phone. Had a problem with a leak at a vanity shut-off valve, tried to repair it on my own without having to resort to cutting into the sheetrock, but nothing worked. They charge you $200 to come out and give you an estimate on a repair job. The only company that I've dealt with, so far that does this. Yes, and even under the house. If a plumber needs to charge you to provide estimate on repairs, that should be a red flag. As a consumer you need to make sure you get the best offer and quality for any jobs you get done. When spending thousands of dollars for a repair, if you don't do a little diligence to make sure you are getting the right price for the job, it is up to you and only you to make sure that happens. They said they will credit you for the job, but if they are sure their prices and quality is the best, then why charge for an estimate?

My neighbor called me when the Bonney Plumbing truck showed up in front of my house. He recommended I get a second opinion. Bonney was double the price of Jeff Boaze Plus the gentleman with Bonney went for the more expensive repair rather than trying the least expensive fix first. Jeff Boaze Plumbing was great until today. First service good. The second time, the owner accused of calling multiple times when In fact I only called once. Odd...but willing to let that go since I needed the work done.

What was most shocking was being ridiculed from staff in front of my face. The first visit I misspelled plumbing on check as I have a learning disability and was in a rush. (I realized that after the fact). As I am signing off work today, staff person makes joke about not knowing how to spell as if I wouldn't know. Hopefully it was all worth with it.

Big shout out to this fabulous plumbing shop and the owner, Jeff! My husband and I were in town, for my Dad's open heart surgery, and there were some plumbing problems at my parents house. Called Jeff, and he made time to handle my emergency despite having other commitments that he managed to get handled with his crew. Turned out ,the PRV was corroded and falling apart on the line coming into our house.. He dug it out of the mud while pulling out multiple tree roots. Once he established what the problem was he found he would need a part. It was late afternoon and when he left to get the part I expected he would not make it back until the next day, and we would have to go with out running water overnight. Not so! he came back with the part and one of his crew and fixed it within a couple of hours. After all the good service I found the final bill was very reasonable. Next plumbing problem we have I'll be calling Jeff again.

Outstanding Work, Extremely Responsive and Very Professional

We have had a remodel project going on in our home for (4) months now and have had to call upon a plumber numerous times. I am so very happy that we thought to check out the yelp reviews and call upon Jeff Boaz Plumbing.

The first time we were in the middle of a wall repair and the guy said that he couldn't go on until the plumber did his work. This was the first I had heard of needing a plumber. Yikes! A hold up on the job. But no, I called Jeff Boaz Plumbing and they came right over and began working even though it was at the end of the day. Jeff worked after hours to get the job complete so the sheetrock guys could come back the following morning to finish the repair.

Recently we needed three sinks installed. They sent a crew of 3 or 4 guys out so the work could be completed quicker. The project was outstanding and always reasonably priced.

I called this morning; they came out 5 minutes later (seriously).
Wow, that is service. I decided I wanted to make a change in the color of the sink drains. I had originally purchased drains to match the sink then decided to change them to stainless. Jeff and his Son went shopping for me and brought back the correct drains and installed them so I could go on about my day. Talk about taking care of the customer. It doesn't get any better than this.

Had a very difficult situation with a water heater located in attic. Called several plumbers some who wouldn't even bid on project some who gave outrageous bids. Luckily found Jeff on Next-door and he came out and gave a very reasonable bid. He was scheduled to arrive at 9am and they were there at 8:55am ready to work. Jeff, his son, and another employee worked 7 1/2 hours straight until project was completed. The best part was even though there was clearly some complications the price was the same as it was at 9am! They walked me through the completed project. The next day I thought there was a problem (user error of course) called Jeff and he came out within the hour. Fixed the issue no problem. We came back from vacation to find our water heater not working. I tried piloting it, to no avail.
There was also water leaking from top as well.
I then got on to yelp called a few local companies, they would only come a week away.

Only Jeff Boaze folks came right away, inspected the heater and determined that it is rusted at the top and needs replacement.
Then came the quotes and replacing my existing 40 Gal unit with a 50 Gal unit that is ultra low nox (needed by code in SaC county).

Jeff responded quickly, diagnosed the problem and gave us options. Once we decided on the solution he helped us get the part and it was installed on the same day that it arrived. Jeff did exactly what he said he would do every step of the way. We would call him again with no hesitation.

It suddenly got really cold this week and of course my hot water heater had to stop working on me. I called Jeff Boaze Plumbing and spoke with Tyler and he told me it's probably just a bad pilot assembly and they could come out next day to fix. After getting the run around from the parts store Tyler was able to track down the part for me and get the water heater to work good as new again. I really appreciate their hard work to track down the part and for getting it done so quickly at a fair price too. Check these guys, I highly recommend.
