We had a leak, and we needed help fast!

I recently had a leaky sink in my kitchen and I was so relieved when I found Green Eagle to fix it.

They communicated via text, set a time the next day, and was able to quickly diagnose the problem and had the right tools to get the job done. They were also very friendly and explained everything he was doing. I was very impressed with their work and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy plumber.

We've used Green Eagle multiple times for water/gas work on our 87 year old  home.  Professional, responsive, highest quality craft work, very reasonable costs, extremely knowledgeable with extensive residential and commercial experience.  I can't imagine using anyone else.

Most recently Anam installed a high-end water filtration system for the house, suggesting appropriate upgrades to the plastic elements supplied by the manufacturer.  Beautiful work.  (as always!)

Aman replaced old shower fixtures  in my 2 bathrooms.  This required breaking out the walls and converting a 2-handle fixture to a one-handle fixture.  It was a pretty straightforward job, but of course, my old house had some complications inside the wall.  The job is done now and it looks great. It works great.  Alan was very genuine to work with.  I think he undercharged for the time it ended up requiring to finish the job.  He stuck to his original bid, even though there was extra work needed. I will use Aman for any plumbing needs in the future, at home and at my office.

Wow.  I'm so glad my neighbors found Green Eagle.  I was frustrated with my plumber's failure to show up and the excessive bid I got from another.  On a whim, I asked Green Eagle to provide an estimate after watching them do meticulous work on my down the street neighbor's house.  They gave an estimate that was quite fair, and got the work done the next day.  They made sure it was done right--this is really beautiful plumbing they did.  They clearly take pride in doing a job right and installing for the long term.  I'll certainly recommend them to friends and call them again, but probably never for my under the sink disposal--I expect that to last as long as the house now.

Great work by Green Eagle Plumbing. We needed help in repairing leaky faucets and they were able to figure out the right washers and repairs to stop the leaks. We used them before to deal with the plumbing for the washing machine, too. Great work.

What a great, professional, kind, fairly priced experience.  I waited almost no time for an appointment to fix my under sink disposal.  Anam gave great advice, fixed it fast and perfectly (it's been more than a year and not a single problem), and left the work space super clean.  I highly recommend Green Eagle.

Green Eagle plumbing is reliable, fair, and does great work.  No cutting corners or shoddy work.  Just good work at a fair price.  Hopefully I won't need a plumber any time soon, but I wouldn't call anyone else.

For longer than I care to remember, our bathtub was horribly clogged, making showers an really unpleasant activity.  Then the tub began backing up when we ran the sink water.  Researched area plumbers and selected Anam based on the reviews.  He was fantastic!!  Arrived ahead of time, was efficient, explained everything, handled the situation with great care and professionalism.  His assistant, Marlon, was terrific as well.  In under an hour, we had a perfectly functioning tub and sink!!  And they cleaned up after themselves!!  Will definitely have Anam come again for other plumbing needs.

Anand and his team are top rate.  They are responsive, professional and reasonably priced.   They recently repiped my house and replaced all the galvanized with copper and PEX.  They were done in a day and even installed a new hose bib which was not in the original scope.  Highly recommended!

It is a big deal to find a skilled, honest, hard-working, reliable, and responsive plumber in the Bay Area! Anam and the guys at Green Eagle Plumbing are all that and more. I've worked with a lot of contractors in the area, including a handful of plumbers, and and they almost always take more work to manage than they are worth. That is not the case with Green Eagle- they schedule you as soon as they can, then they show up on time, work efficiently, professionally and cleanly, and get the job done when they say they would. They are all super sweet guys and pleasant to have in the house.

They have installed new gas pipe, earthquake shut-off valves, a tankless hot water heater, copper pipe, a new drain under the slab in the basement, plus a claw foot tub and bathroom fixtures. All of their work was high quality and reasonably priced. They use quality parts and won't steer you wrong with recommendations.  I'm pretty sure these guys can handle whatever you throw at them.

You can't go wrong with these guys. You can stop looking at reviews now- just call these guys.

We attempted to do a small plumbing job on our own, but when we realized we didn't have the right tools or know-how to complete the job we called Anam at Green Eagle based on a friend's recommendation. Anam scheduled us right away, helped us by getting past the most difficult part of the plumbing repair and offered to complete the job for a modest fee or give us instructions on how to complete the job on our own.  We opted to complete to job on our own, and he gave us complete instructions, and would not accept any payment from us for the portion of the job he did for us.  We are pretty loyal customers, but after a few years with another plumber who took days to respond to our calls, often cancelled on us, and always charged a hefty fee, we are happy to have found Anam.  Highly recommend this honest and considerate plumber!

I found Anam through Berkeley Parents Network. He had very positive reviews there so I called him to fix a leak in our bathtub drain.  Anam came out right away to take a look at it and he fixed it the same day.   He and his partner did a thorough job working on some fairly old pipes installed in a less than orthodox way and got the problem solved.  He cleaned up the bathroom and now we have a working bathtub again!

Anam's a great plumber and is also a great communicator.. He took the time to explain different options to me and walked me through the upsides/downsides of each option.

I'd definitely cal Anam again the next time I need a plumber and I have no reservations about referring him to other folks who need a good plumber!

Anam replaced my faulty earthquake safety valve.  My gas meter is located in an awkward and difficult to reach area, but he did the job efficiently and for great price.  I'm happy to hire and support a local plumber rather than a larger outfit.  I plan on calling Green Eagle Plumbing again for other jobs.

Green Eagle Plumbing - owner Anam Paldgyee - came the day I called!  He checked the hot water heater, checked the pipes.  And the next day, he came back on time with an assistant.  They put in new copper pipes, bought a fine new hot water heater (much more efficient than the old one) & finished the work. I emailed Anam about installing a reverse osmosis filter system at my parents' place. Besides the ease and clarity of communication, his crew showed up on-time and installed it to my parents' satisfaction - my dad is not an easy person to please. Besides the professionalism, he's a super-nice guy.

My parents initially thought the filter wasn't installed correctly. Turns out a kitchen sink-related installation step was skipped by the folks who renovated my parents' place, and Anam performed a simple fix for free, among other things. If my parents weren't impressed already, now they're practically wishing for more plumbing issues so we can hire him.

No one wants to deal with a plumbing problem, but it's comforting to know Green Eagle Plumbing will solve your plumbing issues. He'll be our go-to plumber from now on.

So impressed with Anam and Green Eagle Plumbing!!!  I called on July 3rd because we recently converted from a gas dryer to an electric dryer and the gas valve seemed to have a small leak--really thinking that there was no way I'd get someone before the July 4th holiday.  Much to our pleasant surprise, Anam called us right back and came at the end of his work day on the 3rd.  He took care of gas valve and also did variety of other small plumbing issues we'd had for a while but just hadn't gotten around to fixing...changed a kitchen faucet, replaced a valve in our toilet, and fixed the plug in our tub.  He even ran out to Ace hardware to get parts.
Very sincere service and we felt he was really looking out for us.  Professional and fairly priced.  We will use Anam and Green Eagle for all our future plumbing needs

Green Eagle would get 6 stars if I could. We had a troublesome Home Depot Water Heater give out and Green Eagle replaced and vastly improved the location and safety of our new water heater.

They did my earthquake valve install. And also fixed a pipe that stuck out in the kitchen. Quality work. Did it fast. But also charged a lot. I could have paid less but I felt since he did a free estimate and understood the scope that the low ball estimate I got from another guy would have ended up being in the same amount. Who knows.

I have lived in several states over the past decade and over the years have found great service providers in those critical fields. An amazing dentist in East Lansing, MI. The best optometrist in Santa Monica, CA. But sadly you end up moving and have to start the search all over again in your new home. Well, we finally are settling in for the long haul here in the bay area, and although I haven't found a great dentist or optometrist yet I have found my plumber for life!

Anam at Green Eagle Plumbing is great. After triangulating on his company through various reviews, I emailed him to see if he would be able to install a seismic shut-off valve and also put in a tankless water heater. Responses via email were timely and we setup a site visit. We ended up having Anam swap out some of our old galvanized pipes to copper, install the seismic shut-off valve, install the new water heater (happy he recommended and brought along a Rinnai) and ran a new gas line and a new copper, cold water line to the new unit. If you have an old house with galvanized pipes you know what kind of problems can happen. Anam warned us that due to the grinding and cutting of the pipes we will most likely encounter some type of clogging once the water turns back on. The work went smoothly and just as Anam predicted once the water came back on the system clogged. Anam spent over 5 hours working on fixing the system. Anam insisted on keeping to the quoted price, did great work and won me over as a customer for as long as we own a home in the east bay.

I recently had Anam come back to check on a washing machine discharge pipe that was leaking. He spent about an hour working with me to recreate it and then let me know that the best solution is to use some high-pressure repair tape and it should fix the small leak. It did.

Honest, efficient and he helps educate home owners. Great qualities in a plumber. I definitely recommend calling Anam the next time you have any plumbing needs.

I used Anam with Green Eagle Plumbing based on a recommendation from a friend and am SO glad I did. If you are looking a great and honest plumber, look no further.

Anam is honest and straightforward. He is responsive and shows up on time.

We had our main water line break in front of our house and I called him on a Saturday - he came right over and assessed the problem. He gave me a price and specific instructions on the ticket we had to file to get the correct markings. Over the next 2 days, I texted and called him with updates and he responded promptly. He showed up with his crew and they got it done in 4 hours - knowing that our water would have to be off during that time. He even took a picture of our landscape prior to the dig and put everything back afterwards!

Seeing him chat with his crew, it's clear they respect each other and enjoy the job. I always think this is a key sign - are the workers enjoying the work and the boss? Yes!

Anam & Green Eagle Plumbing were recommended by a neighbor and what a wonderful referral that turned out to be!  Know one enjoys having a plumbing issue let alone a major unexpected plumbing issue during the midst of a global pandemic.  But if you do find yourself with a plumbing issue, Green Eagle Plumbing is there for you.  I called Anam to see if he could take a look at cracked pipes that lead to our sewer main and he came out first thing the next day and came back with an estimate just a few hours later. It was a major project that he and his team were able to accomplish in just two days. My experience with Anam was very positive every step of the process he went above and beyond to make sure the job was done well and was very courteous to me and of the family renting my house.  Thank you Anam for your great care, quick and efficient work!

We recently bought a new house in Oakland and hired Anam to take care of the plumbing in our bathroom and kitchen, as well as installing laundry and dryer hookups and a tankless water heater. He was always extremely friendly and responsive, and able to get the work done in a very timely manner. He was also very informative, explaining things very clearly, and knowledgeable of code requirements.

Once again Anam and crew took care of an annoying problem at my house. This time it was a simple repair (and trust me they can handle big jobs too).  From the one time arrival to having the parts on hand (of course this can't always be the case) to finishing the job effectively these guys are the smartest guys in the room. It feels like you're working with a true neighborhood business and you are because they remember their clients and are committed to getting the job done.  

If you have a leaky toilet get off your...and call these guys.  And you'll feel like you are saving California some water too.

We have used Anam Paldgyee's services four different times and absolutely trust his honesty and expertise.  He replaced our old  electric range with a gas range.  Fixed a toilet that was beginning to leak into our floor. Fixed our clogged dishwasher line  and replaced all the gas lines in our rental home. All his work is done with the utmost care and safety. He looks at the problem and communicates why or why not the work is necessary.
I was out of state when the tenants reported a gas leak.  On further inspection it was determined that all the lines were old and needed replacement.  Obviously the tenants were very concerned. Because I had used Anam P many times before I trusted his judgment, integrity and knowledge.    I knew that he would not recommend anything that didn't really need to be done.  The work was begun the next day and he worked through the weekend to complete it before his jobs the following Monday. His cost was more than fair.  I received this note from the tenants and it says it all.  

Anam Paldgyee  finished today.   He was GREAT!  We will definitely use him on our house.  He was very professional, conscientious and it seems did an excellent job.  He kept me informed all along the way of what he was doing and when we would/wouldn't have hot water or gas to the stove. We had plans in the house this weekend; guests on Saturday night and a cleaning person on Saturday.  Not having a stove or hot water and giving Padgyee access to various parts of the house throughout the 3 day could have been over-the-top challenging.
But he was so easy to work with and now the gas lines are safe.  Yay.  He showed me where the gas shut offs are in and out of the house, which I am so grateful to know in case of an emergency.


As a homeowner and landlord I cannot  overstate  how secure
I feel using Green Eagle Plumbing.    
I feel Anam P is not only great plumber but enjoys his work and takes your trust very seriously. I unhesitatingly recommend him.

Our first plumber had to unexpectedly move out of state and we used Anam at Green Eagle Plumbing to finish our bathroom remodel. He was responsive, professional, honest and so pleasant to work with! After speaking to him about our needs, he promptly came out for a site visit, provided a quote and was able to complete the job with his colleague Marvin in a very timely manner. Even though one of our parts was faulty and delayed (our fault, not his), Anam did not accept payment until the entire job was completed. Anam and Marvin were meticulous, efficient and took pride in their high quality work. We will most definitely use Anam again!

Green Eagle is fantastic. I had an unexpected problem on a Saturday morning and every big name plumber I called didn't work weekends. I have tenants. We can't turn of their water for days. I left a message at Green Eagle and Anan called me back and came over within an hour!

My backflow preventer was busted (again!), no parts available on a Saturday and the model has been discontinued anyway. It still looked like no water until Monday at the earliest and a very expensive part I can't afford right now. But Anan knew exactly what to do so my tenants and I could have water again and I have some breathing room to replace it.  

His work is impeccable, too. He didn't just do a tidy job, he did a great job. I've never seen a plumber take such care with their soldering. He's my plumber now.

Anam is a magician!  After the repair by Derek, the Drummer Plumber, we developed a problem w/ the hot water flow, especially to the bathtub.  Nothing that Derek did wrong, it just happened, perhaps a result of the water being turned off twice by East Bay MUD last w/e after the connector pipe failed.  Derek came over yesterday to troubleshoot it, determined that the problem was not something he could diagnose so he referred us to Anam and Green Eagle, who does the more complicated jobs.  I called Anam, who asked me to text him our address, etc, which I did.  He called this morning and was able to come over shortly afterward.  He looked at the bathtub and at the water heater and determined that the problem was not behind the tile (thank God).  He didn't have the time to fix it then but said he would come back late in the afternoon to fix it.  He came w/ a helper around 5:00.  They were here a half an hour or less and he fixed the problem, which was in the hot water heater itself.  He put in new couplings and the water flow is back to normal.  He cautioned me that the water heater is old and nearing the end of its life (it's 13 or 14 years) so I wont be surprised if it fails.  We couldn't be more pleased w/ Anam's work.  I called Derek and left him a message thanking him for the referral.

This past Saturday the sump pump ...gross way of getting 'crap' up to the street & into the city's system...well that system went kaput.  Seven of us depend on that pump, it keeps  s..t from happening :)  The manager' here called a nice, but unskilled plumber of sorts. He gave a quick look down at the pump (which was actually veiled in hideous stuff) and pronounced that a new one had to be bought (which meant we'd have to wait 'til Monday,  2 more days without flushing toilets, taking a shower, washing a dish.  (Is this what makes homes into meth labs? you know, they need to do drugs in order to live without a sewer...just askin')  Thankfully, I was allowed to call SUPER MAN  Paldgyee (aka Anam).  Politely, he questioned whether a new pump was needed; he felt the old one could be fixed.  The other plumber didn't want to muck around in the raw sewage to find out, so he voted for Paldgyee to take the job (and off he ran to his truck)  
   I called Paldgyee/Green Eagle a 2nd time & asked him to please cover over.  Although he'd just got home from a day full of taking care of 'emergency' calls, he said 'yes'.  (Because he is also a very kind person & although he's modest, I feel he didn't want the 7 of us to suffer/ wait 'til Monday)  Paldgyee  worked 4.5 hours in the cold rain to put all right again (And he was right, no need to purchase a new pump! )  Please do yourself a favor & connect with this young man who is so knowledgeable, honest and patient.  Now, please understand, Paldgyee isn't  the cheapest (that man ran to his truck) yet neither is he the most expensive.  He is, however, the fairest, most competent plumber you'll ever have the pleasure of having in your life !

Green Eagle Plumbing came to the rescue several times.  Some appointments were urgent like water leaking through the ceiling and sewer problems and then a big job of putting in new gas lines & plumbing for a tankless and new bathroom as well as a greywater system.  Everything was completed with the highest quality care and expertise.  Anam and Marvin are the best!

We have used Green Eagle Plumbing a few times (gas line, kitchen plumbing, bathroom plumbing, hose faucet plumbing) and we are pleased with the work.  Anam is a very nice guy.  He shows you what's causing the problem and explains what is being corrected.  His prices are reasonable.

Anam/Green Eagle did a fantastic job replacing a leaky kitchen drain pipe in a tight spot.  We had an estimate from another, very established, local firm (for which we paid): their estimate was literally 4 times higher, and would have involved a kludged pipe going outside the house and then back in.  Anam was able to do the work within what I imagine was his estimated time, and did what seems to be excellent work in a creative way.  I recommend absolutely.

Anam was recommended to us when we moved to the Richmond area, and wow am I glad! He's turned out to be our go-to plumber for jobs big and small. From moving gas lines to installing appliances, he's done excellent work all around our house, while being communicative, patient, and bringing creative solutions. I have had a few plumbers in my house, and I have to say the only thing unfortunate about my experience with Green Eagle is that it didn't happen sooner. Other big plumbing companies like, Mr Rooter or Albert Nahman, charge way more and the work they do is an embarrassment compared to Green Eagle. Anam and his crew do great plumbing work. They put in a heat pump water heater for us. The plumbing work is beautiful, the water heater works great, and the price was unbeatable. I can't recommend these guys more.

Awesome humans. Awesome plumbers. It was great working with Anam and his team from start to finish. I had him upgrade all my incoming plumbing from galvanized to copper for the entire house. They got the job done quickly and did an amazing job for a reasonable price. And they brought a great positive energy into the house. Highly recommend.

I'm so glad I took a co-worker's advice and called Green Eagle. Anam has provided plumbing service at my home a number of times since I moved to this area a year ago, and I'm sold on the guy. He does fine work, does exactly what he says he's going to do, and then charges a fair and reasonable fee. That's enough to merit a 5-star review, but Anam distinguished himself last week by helping me resolve plumbing issues that surfaced on the morning we were leaving town. He stabilized the situation after we already left the house, assured us by phone that we wouldn't be flooded while we were gone, and then returned two more times to follow up and get us back on track without any overcharges or nonsense. He always showed up on time. I'm lucky to have found the guy. Now you are too.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! For years only a bit of hot water was coming out of the shower! Yesterday I finally called a different plumber who said it was the galvanized pipes. That plumber didn't replace pipes so I called Green Eagle Plumbing who fixed the problem in an hour or so - and it wasn't the pipes - it was a simple fix. He saved me so much stress and money. It was his smaller hands that were able to do the job since it was a tight spot!

I cannot say enough about Anam and Green Eagle Plumbing. We have an old clawfoot tub with equally old hardware, and were afraid to try to fix leak issues that have occurred ourselves.  Anam came and dealt with the problem (on a Saturday, no less) quickly and explained the details and follow up care with clarity.  Additionally, Anam identified another leak we had not noticed and addressed it.  I highly recommend Anam and Green Eagle Plumbing!

Anam replaced my faulty earthquake safety valve.  My gas meter is located in an awkward and difficult to reach area, but he did the job efficiently and for great price.  I'm happy to hire and support a local plumber rather than a larger outfit.  I plan on calling Green Eagle Plumbing again for other jobs.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! For years only a bit of hot water was coming out of the shower! Yesterday I finally called a different plumber who said it was the galvanized pipes. That plumber didn't replace pipes so I called Green Eagle Plumbing who fixed the problem in an hour or so - and it wasn't the pipes - it was a simple fix. He saved me so much stress and money. It was his smaller hands that were able to do the job since it was a tight spot!

Anam & Green Eagle Plumbing were recommended by a neighbor and what a wonderful referral that turned out to be!  Know one enjoys having a plumbing issue let alone a major unexpected plumbing issue during the midst of a global pandemic.  But if you do find yourself with a plumbing issue, Green Eagle Plumbing is there for you.  I called Anam to see if he could take a look at cracked pipes that lead to our sewer main and he came out first thing the next day and came back with an estimate just a few hours later. It was a major project that he and his team were able to accomplish in just two days. My experience with Anam was very positive every step of the process he went above and beyond to make sure the job was done well and was very courteous to me and of the family renting my house.  Thank you Anam for your great care, quick and efficient work!

Once again Anam and crew took care of an annoying problem at my house. This time it was a simple repair (and trust me they can handle big jobs too).  From the one time arrival to having the parts on hand (of course this can't always be the case) to finishing the job effectively these guys are the smartest guys in the room. It feels like you're working with a true neighborhood business and you are because they remember their clients and are committed to getting the job done.  

If you have a leaky toilet get off your...and call these guys.  And you'll feel like you are saving California some water too.

I found Anam through Berkeley Parents Network. He had very positive reviews there so I called him to fix a leak in our bathtub drain.  Anam came out right away to take a look at it and he fixed it the same day.   He and his partner did a thorough job working on some fairly old pipes installed in a less than orthodox way and got the problem solved.  He cleaned up the bathroom and now we have a working bathtub again!

Anam's a great plumber and is also a great communicator.. He took the time to explain different options to me and walked me through the upsides/downsides of each option.

I'd definitely cal Anam again the next time I need a plumber and I have no reservations about referring him to other folks who need a good plumber!

We attempted to do a small plumbing job on our own, but when we realized we didn't have the right tools or know-how to complete the job we called Anam at Green Eagle based on a friend's recommendation. Anam scheduled us right away, helped us by getting past the most difficult part of the plumbing repair and offered to complete the job for a modest fee or give us instructions on how to complete the job on our own.  We opted to complete to job on our own, and he gave us complete instructions, and would not accept any payment from us for the portion of the job he did for us.  We are pretty loyal customers, but after a few years with another plumber who took days to respond to our calls, often cancelled on us, and always charged a hefty fee, we are happy to have found Anam.  Highly recommend this honest and considerate plumber!

So impressed with Anam and Green Eagle Plumbing!!!  I called on July 3rd because we recently converted from a gas dryer to an electric dryer and the gas valve seemed to have a small leak--really thinking that there was no way I'd get someone before the July 4th holiday.  Much to our pleasant surprise, Anam called us right back and came at the end of his work day on the 3rd.  He took care of gas valve and also did variety of other small plumbing issues we'd had for a while but just hadn't gotten around to fixing...changed a kitchen faucet, replaced a valve in our toilet, and fixed the plug in our tub.  He even ran out to Ace hardware to get parts.
Very sincere service and we felt he was really looking out for us.  Professional and fairly priced.  We will use Anam and Green Eagle for all our future plumbing needs

They did my earthquake valve install. And also fixed a pipe that stuck out in the kitchen. Quality work. Did it fast. But also charged a lot. I could have paid less but I felt since he did a free estimate and understood the scope that the low ball estimate I got from another guy would have ended up being in the same amount. Who knows.

Wow.  I'm so glad my neighbors found Green Eagle.  I was frustrated with my plumber's failure to show up and the excessive bid I got from another.  On a whim, I asked Green Eagle to provide an estimate after watching them do meticulous work on my down the street neighbor's house.  They gave an estimate that was quite fair, and got the work done the next day.  They made sure it was done right--this is really beautiful plumbing they did.  They clearly take pride in doing a job right and installing for the long term.  I'll certainly recommend them to friends and call them again, but probably never for my under the sink disposal--I expect that to last as long as the house now.

We have used Anam Paldgyee's services four different times and absolutely trust his honesty and expertise.  He replaced our old  electric range with a gas range.  Fixed a toilet that was beginning to leak into our floor. Fixed our clogged dishwasher line  and replaced all the gas lines in our rental home. All his work is done with the utmost care and safety. He looks at the problem and communicates why or why not the work is necessary.
I was out of state when the tenants reported a gas leak.  On further inspection it was determined that all the lines were old and needed replacement.  Obviously the tenants were very concerned. Because I had used Anam P many times before I trusted his judgment, integrity and knowledge.    I knew that he would not recommend anything that didn't really need to be done.  The work was begun the next day and he worked through the weekend to complete it before his jobs the following Monday. His cost was more than fair.  I received this note from the tenants and it says it all.  

Anam Paldgyee  finished today.   He was GREAT!  We will definitely use him on our house.  He was very professional, conscientious and it seems did an excellent job.  He kept me informed all along the way of what he was doing and when we would/wouldn't have hot water or gas to the stove. We had plans in the house this weekend; guests on Saturday night and a cleaning person on Saturday.  Not having a stove or hot water and giving Padgyee access to various parts of the house throughout the 3 day could have been over-the-top challenging.
But he was so easy to work with and now the gas lines are safe.  Yay.  He showed me where the gas shut offs are in and out of the house, which I am so grateful to know in case of an emergency.


As a homeowner and landlord I cannot  overstate  how secure
I feel using Green Eagle Plumbing.    
I feel Anam P is not only great plumber but enjoys his work and takes your trust very seriously. I unhesitatingly recommend him.

Aman replaced old shower fixtures  in my 2 bathrooms.  This required breaking out the walls and converting a 2-handle fixture to a one-handle fixture.  It was a pretty straightforward job, but of course, my old house had some complications inside the wall.  The job is done now and it looks great. It works great.  Alan was very genuine to work with.  I think he undercharged for the time it ended up requiring to finish the job.  He stuck to his original bid, even though there was extra work needed. I will use Aman for any plumbing needs in the future, at home and at my office.

I have lived in several states over the past decade and over the years have found great service providers in those critical fields. An amazing dentist in East Lansing, MI. The best optometrist in Santa Monica, CA. But sadly you end up moving and have to start the search all over again in your new home. Well, we finally are settling in for the long haul here in the bay area, and although I haven't found a great dentist or optometrist yet I have found my plumber for life!

Anam at Green Eagle Plumbing is great. After triangulating on his company through various reviews, I emailed him to see if he would be able to install a seismic shut-off valve and also put in a tankless water heater. Responses via email were timely and we setup a site visit. We ended up having Anam swap out some of our old galvanized pipes to copper, install the seismic shut-off valve, install the new water heater (happy he recommended and brought along a Rinnai) and ran a new gas line and a new copper, cold water line to the new unit. If you have an old house with galvanized pipes you know what kind of problems can happen. Anam warned us that due to the grinding and cutting of the pipes we will most likely encounter some type of clogging once the water turns back on. The work went smoothly and just as Anam predicted once the water came back on the system clogged. Anam spent over 5 hours working on fixing the system. Anam insisted on keeping to the quoted price, did great work and won me over as a customer for as long as we own a home in the east bay.

I recently had Anam come back to check on a washing machine discharge pipe that was leaking. He spent about an hour working with me to recreate it and then let me know that the best solution is to use some high-pressure repair tape and it should fix the small leak. It did.

Honest, efficient and he helps educate home owners. Great qualities in a plumber. I definitely recommend calling Anam the next time you have any plumbing needs.

Anam is a magician!  After the repair by Derek, the Drummer Plumber, we developed a problem w/ the hot water flow, especially to the bathtub.  Nothing that Derek did wrong, it just happened, perhaps a result of the water being turned off twice by East Bay MUD last w/e after the connector pipe failed.  Derek came over yesterday to troubleshoot it, determined that the problem was not something he could diagnose so he referred us to Anam and Green Eagle, who does the more complicated jobs.  I called Anam, who asked me to text him our address, etc, which I did.  He called this morning and was able to come over shortly afterward.  He looked at the bathtub and at the water heater and determined that the problem was not behind the tile (thank God).  He didn't have the time to fix it then but said he would come back late in the afternoon to fix it.  He came w/ a helper around 5:00.  They were here a half an hour or less and he fixed the problem, which was in the hot water heater itself.  He put in new couplings and the water flow is back to normal.  He cautioned me that the water heater is old and nearing the end of its life (it's 13 or 14 years) so I wont be surprised if it fails.  We couldn't be more pleased w/ Anam's work.  I called Derek and left him a message thanking him for the referral.

I used Anam with Green Eagle Plumbing based on a recommendation from a friend and am SO glad I did. If you are looking a great and honest plumber, look no further.

Anam is honest and straightforward. He is responsive and shows up on time.

We had our main water line break in front of our house and I called him on a Saturday - he came right over and assessed the problem. He gave me a price and specific instructions on the ticket we had to file to get the correct markings. Over the next 2 days, I texted and called him with updates and he responded promptly. He showed up with his crew and they got it done in 4 hours - knowing that our water would have to be off during that time. He even took a picture of our landscape prior to the dig and put everything back afterwards!

Seeing him chat with his crew, it's clear they respect each other and enjoy the job. I always think this is a key sign - are the workers enjoying the work and the boss? Yes!

It is a big deal to find a skilled, honest, hard-working, reliable, and responsive plumber in the Bay Area! Anam and the guys at Green Eagle Plumbing are all that and more. I've worked with a lot of contractors in the area, including a handful of plumbers, and and they almost always take more work to manage than they are worth. That is not the case with Green Eagle- they schedule you as soon as they can, then they show up on time, work efficiently, professionally and cleanly, and get the job done when they say they would. They are all super sweet guys and pleasant to have in the house.

They have installed new gas pipe, earthquake shut-off valves, a tankless hot water heater, copper pipe, a new drain under the slab in the basement, plus a claw foot tub and bathroom fixtures. All of their work was high quality and reasonably priced. They use quality parts and won't steer you wrong with recommendations.  I'm pretty sure these guys can handle whatever you throw at them.

You can't go wrong with these guys. You can stop looking at reviews now- just call these guys.

For longer than I care to remember, our bathtub was horribly clogged, making showers an really unpleasant activity.  Then the tub began backing up when we ran the sink water.  Researched area plumbers and selected Anam based on the reviews.  He was fantastic!!  Arrived ahead of time, was efficient, explained everything, handled the situation with great care and professionalism.  His assistant, Marlon, was terrific as well.  In under an hour, we had a perfectly functioning tub and sink!!  And they cleaned up after themselves!!  Will definitely have Anam come again for other plumbing needs.

I emailed Anam about installing a reverse osmosis filter system at my parents' place. Besides the ease and clarity of communication, his crew showed up on-time and installed it to my parents' satisfaction - my dad is not an easy person to please. Besides the professionalism, he's a super-nice guy.

My parents initially thought the filter wasn't installed correctly. Turns out a kitchen sink-related installation step was skipped by the folks who renovated my parents' place, and Anam performed a simple fix for free, among other things. If my parents weren't impressed already, now they're practically wishing for more plumbing issues so we can hire him.

We've used Green Eagle multiple times for water/gas work on our 87 year old  home.  Professional, responsive, highest quality craft work, very reasonable costs, extremely knowledgeable with extensive residential and commercial experience.  I can't imagine using anyone else.

Anam/Green Eagle did a fantastic job replacing a leaky kitchen drain pipe in a tight spot.  We had an estimate from another, very established, local firm (for which we paid): their estimate was literally 4 times higher, and would have involved a kludged pipe going outside the house and then back in.  Anam was able to do the work within what I imagine was his estimated time, and did what seems to be excellent work in a creative way.  I recommend absolutely.

Green Eagle is fantastic. I had an unexpected problem on a Saturday morning and every big name plumber I called didn't work weekends. I have tenants. We can't turn of their water for days. I left a message at Green Eagle and Anan called me back and came over within an hour!

My backflow preventer was busted (again!), no parts available on a Saturday and the model has been discontinued anyway. It still looked like no water until Monday at the earliest and a very expensive part I can't afford right now. But Anan knew exactly what to do so my tenants and I could have water again and I have some breathing room to replace it.  

His work is impeccable, too. He didn't just do a tidy job, he did a great job. I've never seen a plumber take such care with their soldering. He's my plumber now.

I cannot say enough about Anam and Green Eagle Plumbing. We have an old clawfoot tub with equally old hardware, and were afraid to try to fix leak issues that have occurred ourselves.  Anam came and dealt with the problem (on a Saturday, no less) quickly and explained the details and follow up care with clarity.  Additionally, Anam identified another leak we had not noticed and addressed it.  I highly recommend Anam and Green Eagle Plumbing!

Our first plumber had to unexpectedly move out of state and we used Anam at Green Eagle Plumbing to finish our bathroom remodel. He was responsive, professional, honest and so pleasant to work with! After speaking to him about our needs, he promptly came out for a site visit, provided a quote and was able to complete the job with his colleague Marvin in a very timely manner. Even though one of our parts was faulty and delayed (our fault, not his), Anam did not accept payment until the entire job was completed. I'm so glad I took a co-worker's advice and called Green Eagle. Anam has provided plumbing service at my home a number of times since I moved to this area a year ago, and I'm sold on the guy. He does fine work, does exactly what he says he's going to do, and then charges a fair and reasonable fee. That's enough to merit a 5-star review, but Anam distinguished himself last week by helping me resolve plumbing issues that surfaced on the morning we were leaving town. He stabilized the situation after we already left the house, assured us by phone that we wouldn't be flooded while we were gone, and then returned two more times to follow up and get us back on track without any overcharges or nonsense. He always showed up on time. I'm lucky to have found the guy. Now you are too.

I have had a few plumbers in my house, and I have to say the only thing unfortunate about my experience with Green Eagle is that it didn't happen sooner. Other big plumbing companies like, Mr Rooter or Albert Nahman, charge way more and the work they do is an embarrassment compared to Green Eagle. Anam and his crew do great plumbing work. They put in a heat pump water heater for us. The plumbing work is beautiful, the water heater works great, and the price was unbeatable. I can't recommend these guys more.

This past Saturday the sump pump ...gross way of getting 'crap' up to the street & into the city's system...well that system went kaput.  Seven of us depend on that pump, it keeps  s..t from happening :)  The manager' here called a nice, but unskilled plumber of sorts. He gave a quick look down at the pump (which was actually veiled in hideous stuff) and pronounced that a new one had to be bought (which meant we'd have to wait 'til Monday,  2 more days without flushing toilets, taking a shower, washing a dish.  (Is this what makes homes into meth labs? you know, they need to do drugs in order to live without a sewer...just askin')  Thankfully, I was allowed to call SUPER MAN  Paldgyee (aka Anam).  Politely, he questioned whether a new pump was needed; he felt the old one could be fixed.  The other plumber didn't want to muck around in the raw sewage to find out, so he voted for Paldgyee to take the job (and off he ran to his truck)  
   I called Paldgyee/Green Eagle a 2nd time & asked him to please cover over.  Although he'd just got home from a day full of taking care of 'emergency' calls, he said 'yes'.  (Because he is also a very kind person & although he's modest, I feel he didn't want the 7 of us to suffer/ wait 'til Monday)  Paldgyee  worked 4.5 hours in the cold rain to put all right again (And he was right, no need to purchase a new pump! )  Please do yourself a favor & connect with this young man who is so knowledgeable, honest and patient.  Now, please understand, Paldgyee isn't  the cheapest (that man ran to his truck) yet neither is he the most expensive.  He is, however, the fairest, most competent plumber you'll ever have the pleasure of having in your life !
