Spot repair is an important and economical option to consider if you have been told you need a whole house repipe. We will perform a trace, and give you the option to save money by digging it up yourself. On a large job you could save thousands. Of course, we are always happy to do the work if you would like us to! Gary's D-Rooting Service has served California's Central Valley for more than 37 years. Gary was in the Navy as a SeaBee. He learned plumbing, as well as many other construction skills that can help us serve you best. After completing his enlistment, he returned to Fresno, where he founded Gary's D-Rooting Service. Gary's parents grew up in the depression, where people learned the value of repairing what they already had. In that spirit, when possible, we fix instead of replace, which saves you money. This is one difference between us and other companies that only replace. Integrity is the most important asset we have, and we won't sell you anything you don't need.

Gary is the best plumber in Fresno! He was raised here, and after serving in the Navy during Vietnam, returned to stay. He has cleaned drains in every neighborhood in town, and has the knowledge and experience to solve your plumbing problems. He doesn't believe in doing a job halfway. Really gone downhill since son took over. Have used Gary's twice - the first time the father did the work, and while a little expensive, did a very thorough job and highly experienced.
However, the second time, the son had taken over and was inexperienced at that time - 2015, but has bothered me all this time! He had to call his dad to figure out what to do - no problem with that but I got charged for all his time. Ended up decent work but WAY overcharged - over $500 for replacing a shower drain from the basement.

As a board member for a local private school we had an emergency hot water heater issue that needed remedy ASAP. Additionally, we needed a new fixtures for our commercial kitchen faucet. Donald responded quickly and resolved our issue with plenty of communication in between. Their prices were fair and his work is exceptional. Highly recommend!
I had a clog in my main sewer line and everything was backing up. I called and the technician was here in 15 minutes, worked quickly and had the line clear in under an hour! Very satisfied with the service and would definitely recommend them. I know who call next time!

Hired Gary to fix a leaky pipe under my house. He was on time, quick and friendly. He had given me a quote and didn't exceed it. Very pleased and will use him again in the future.

This should be negative stars. If you are looking for a plumber, pass this guy. You do not want to get into serious trouble with this Gary. He just makes matters worse and will not pay for his screw ups..
Can't say enough about Gary. Had to call him in on a different project. Responsive & fair. Great service & cares about his customer.
Donald came out to our church and did a wonderful job not only rootering out our lines but repairing a sink. Even though we are out in the Ranchos he still offered our church a discount! Thank you for your amazing professional service we will be using you for all our plumbing needs. God bless you!

Gary's Plumbing is my go-to plumber. Although more expensive than most ($260 for the first drain snaked), it's better to get it done right the first time. I never have trouble with Gary's Plumbing. The owner is reliable, responsive, and trustworthy. He explains everything and is willing to educate you about fixes you can do yourself if you prefer to save $. I highly recommend Gary's Plumbing.
I'm well pleased with this company,
1. I called them at 2:30pm and they came to my residence by 5:00pm. They called me 1/2 hour before they were on their way.
2. Donald the plumber was very professional, he snaked the line many times until he was able to clear the drain... He didn't stop just there, he decided to snaked the line a second time with a bigger cutter to make sure that there were boing to be no more issues.
3. He advices for me to follow some steps to avoid bigger expenses in the future, he gave me a reason why these steps are important and how to avoid clogs in the drain.
4. He showed concern for my house and for my money, unlike someone else would've just done a quick fix and not worry about what will happen after he was done.
5. This plumber was very professional.
I will recommend his business and this is why I give his business 5 stars review.

Called late in the afternoon and I was able to get on the same day schedule. Donald was very polite on the phone and told me I would get a call before service tech arrived which I did. Gary himself showed up on site, extremely professional and hard working man. Solved my clogged shower drain and was kind and communicated very well. We received the best service from this company! We had several other top name plumbing companies come out to our office prior to calling Gary's, and none of them could find our water shutoff. They told us to give them a call back when we were able to locate it and they would be able to fix our problem. Gary's sent Donald out, and he went above and beyond to find our water shut off and found it! Amazing customer service, we will be using Gary's Plumbing from now on.

Tony came out to help me with a kitchen leak. He was professional and did a great job. He explained the problem to me, fixed the leak, double then triple checked everything.
I highly recommend Gary and his staff. Gary called me to give me updates and worked with me and my schedule.
I'd use them again.
Called Gary's Plumbing based on yelp and was not disappointed. He was so efficient and helpful and honest. Toilet and sink had not been replaced in 35years and he tore out and re-installed new toilet and vanity. Price was very very reasonable and I would highly recommend him.

I would like to thank Gary's plumbing for doing such a thorough job in my sewer problem I had a couple of days ago. They kept in contact with me to let me know they were on their way. So thankful Donald and his coworker came last night. they were very professional, wore full respirators when near me. solved flooding issue in my back yard that has been going on for over a month with literally 5 other people failed to find the leak (it was admittedly hard to find). was about $150 per hour plus parts.
