My home's water pressure regulator is 15 years old, is still working, but water pressure went up recently to 80 psi, which is still within safe limits.  The lady who answered the phone at Jeff's quickly said it would cost $385 when I asked her how much it would cost to install a new regulator.  I told her that I bought a regulator like the one I have now at Home Depot for $55.  She said if I supply the regulator, their labor rate is $100/hour.  I called another licensed plumber and he installed the new regulator for $85!  Instead of spending $385 for Jeff's Westside Plumbing, I saved $245 by calling around.  I am not rating Jeff's work.  It may be worth five stars.  But their labor rates do not appear to be competitive.

I moved here from San Diego, CA into an older home built in 1974.  The home inspector's plumbing issues list was long and detailed.  I called Jeff's for the first round of repairs.  As expected, other issues were uncovered and repaired by the Westside team.  I have called Jeff's five more times since our introduction and I have not been disappointed by the quality of their work, or the fair prices that they have charged me for the work.  I have also followed up with them on their repair and maintenance recommendations for preventive care, so I will not have any mid-night plumbing emergencies!  In addition, I referred them to my daughter and she has been pleased with their work as well.  When it comes to plumbing you can trust Jeff's Westside Plumbing.

Great service! I've been meaning to leave a review for some time. Our water heater went out and we called a different company and they wanted to charge me an unbelievable amount for a new one and installation. We felt we were being ripped off so we asked them to leave. Unsure what to do we called Jeff's WP and they quoted us a very competitive price and came out with new water heater within the day. Final bill was $1100 cheaper than what the other company was trying to scam us for. Be careful out there as companies do this all the time to desperate people. Very impressed by their honesty. Would definitely work with again. The person who answered phone was the reason we stayed, so thank you for knowledgeable office staff!

I called them because I had seen their trucks in our area. We had a garbage disposal that had something stuck in it, so it wasn't working. He came and fixed it, but it had reached it's maximum age and I didn't want to call them again in a few months. He offered to replace, although he had fixed it, and we decided we would replace it. I was pleasantly surprised at the very reasonable price that he charged for both fixing it and replacing it. I will definitely call them from now on.

I don't now what's happened with Jeff's.

We've called on them several times in recent years and always got good service. But this last time, it was a complete snafu. We had a problem with clogged drains which seemed to be a simple, straightforward issue. But the pair of guys who showed up insisted they had to have a camera run through the pipes and they didn't have one that would work. So I later get a call from a supervisor at Jeff's telling me to contact another company that specializes in this camera work. After a number of unsuccessful attempts to contact this other company via phone, email and their website, I contact the supervisor again in hopes that he might have a line of communication with them. He promises to contact them and then call me back. That was 4 days ago.

Meanwhile, we're still dealing with the backed-up sinks.

I called another plumbing outfit who showed up quickly and took care of the problem w/o needing their hands held by some third party.

Is Jeff's under new (not improved) management?

Weird...

Look no further! They did an amazing job fixing the drum trap in our main bathroom and the kitchen's underground broken pipe.
They are very responsive and prompt but they do get busy so be patient.
The prices are very reasonable,  they are professional and knowledgeable.

Had some issues with one of the bathrooms and was able to get someone out here with no issue and knew what they were doing. Good service. Thank you for coming out to help!

These guys at Jeff's Westside Plumbing went way above and beyond the call of duty, helping to save our family Christmas! In early December, our water flow throughout our house dropped off precipitously. Had the water company guy come out and he showed me how our water meter dial was still slowly spinning, meaning city water was still flowing to the house. With no water reaching faucets in the house, he suspected a leak in the water line. Next, had Sun City Leak Detection guys come out. They diagnosed a couple of leaks in our water line and offered to repair it. We accepted and -- long story short -- eleven days later the crooks at Sun City Leak Detection walked off the job after spending three half-days total accomplishing nothing but a $1000+ in damage to our yard and water line to the house. It was now the Friday afternoon before the Christmas weekend. We were able to get another leak detection outfit to come out to help us. But, they couldn't test the line because... the Sun City Leak Detection guys had cut our water line clean through in two different places! It's now late Friday afternoon, it's cold outside and we're figuring there's no way we can get anyone out to weld our copper water line back together at this late hour... Jeff's Westside Plumbing to the rescue!!! Patrick & Javier came out to the house after a long week and a long day and worked into the cold night patching and welding our water line out by the street. The first of our visiting family arrived from out of state that night. So, Patrick & Javier returned the next morning (the Saturday before Christmas) to weld together the remaining cut in the line. Their assistance helped the new leak detection outfit determine that -- we had no leak after all! (The water softener just inside the house had broken down and pushed resin residue and glass beads throughout the home plumbing blocking everything and the leaks were actually the city water being diverted into the drain by the broken water softener.) Patrick & Javier helped out after hours so our family could move back into the house just before Christmas after staying thirteen days in a hotel. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Jeff's Westside Plumbing is very fast and very efficient.
I just moved into my new home, and right away I found a leak (every new homeowners nightmare!).  The leak was outside under the driveway.  I had seen Jeff's trucks all around town, so I decided to call them.  It was around noon and the lady on the phone said they would stop by between 3 and 5. It was much quicker than that, and they called in advance to let me know they were on their way.  The workers were very pleasant.  They told me I had to contact a leak detection company first, since the leak was underground and then they would come back and fix it.  So, after the leak detection guys went on Saturday morning I called Jeff's; however, on Saturdays they work on overtime hours, so they advised me to turn my water off when I wasn't using it and scheduled an appointment on Monday morning.  They arrived at my house at around 11 am, and by a little after noon had repaired the leak.  They were very fast, and they aren't too expensive either.  Very professional.

The only reason why I'm not giving them 5 stars is because they said they would bill me, and yet they called me a couple of hours later to ask for my credit card information.  I wanted to pay out of my checking account, which the lady said they could pick up a check later, but she was very adamant in me paying at the moment (which I understand). Other than that, it was a fantastic job.

Jeff's gave us exceptional service from start to finish. They showed up exactly at the time they promised, finished our work quickly, cleaned up everything, all at an extremely reasonable rate. I have added Jeff's to my preferred service providers and they will be our go to plumbing resource. I highly recommend them

Horrible experience. I'm having issues with my water heater and unfortunately came across these untrustworthy plumbers. PLEASE DO NOT CALL THEM, THEIR MAIN CONCERN IS TO BILL YOU BY THE HOUR. They came out to my house gave me an estimate and then left me with an invoice for $160 saying that they ran a diagnostic and had to bill for that work.  Extremely unprofessional. Please don't waste your time and money with these crooks.

Excellent experience! We had a leak under the slab and they recommended American Leak Detection Service before coming out. Because of that, the plumbers only had to remove two tiles to access the exact location of the leak and repaired it efficiently and professionally. They cleaned up after themselves really well too. I am very impressed!

We suspected a gas leak in our home and contacted the gas company for an inspection. No leak was found but they cited us for not having a termination plate installed under the gas cooktop. They gave us until the 27th to have it installed. We contacted Jeff's and was advised that they could install the plate but in order to come out they charge $120 service fee equivalent to 1 hr of labor that will apply towards the total invoice upon completion less time spent in the home upon the initial inspection. They can to the home, looked under the range, took notes for the part they'd need to order and collected our credit card number. That day the $120 was deducted from our account but time spent was about 1/2 hr. Both serviceman agreed with that assessment. They came about a week later but learned they ordered the wrong part and left right away. They returned around the 27th and seemed to be working an absurd amount of time when I asked my husband to find out what's going on. They guys said again they had the wrong part but were trying to find away to install something to avoid having our gas turned off (oh, that was the gas company's findings and cited us for lack of part and to turn gas off by 27th if not repaired). My husband quickly called the manager of Jeff's and he was very apologetic stating they had the wrong part again but were trying to remedy something to avoid a disconnection on our part. That ended with the manager, Joe, apologizing and advising we would not be charged for that day either, that they would order the correct part and return for install, and if we had any issues with the gas company to refer them their way to explain. That was agreed upon. They returned with the correct part on 1/6/23 and had it installed within or about an hour. A total invoice cost for $170 was left. We assumed they'd deduct most of the $120 for the 15 minutes they were here day one. No, they recharged our credit card for the full amount. I contacted them immediately only to be told by Joe himself that they spent A LOT of time at our home and justified the charge. He also denied that they use any of the initial $120 towards the total cost of the repair and that the 15 minutes they came out to write down the type of cooktop and take our credit card number warranted the $120. When he reiterated the absorbent amount of time they spent here I protested that it was all, 100%, due to them ordering the wrong part multiple times. The entire job start to finish, including the day they came out, excluding the times they ordered the wrong part took a little over an hour. Maybe 1-1/2 hours but they took $270. The part itself averages $35.  Total lack of ethics and very poor business practices. They would not take cash either - perhaps they know this is so they can charge people's  cards carte Blanche. At the very least they owe us a refund of $60-75. Regrets: trusting someone's word, handing over our credit card, not recording both conversations. Never again. Steer clear people and don't give these people your credit card.

Really, really great service and very friendly repairmen.  Our water heater decided it was talking a break, the day before our out-of-town guests were do to arrive for my mother's funeral.  With all we had going on with my mother's side passing, the last thing we needed to deal with was a broken water heater.
It was almost exactly an hour from my frantic call for help to our water heater being fixed.  I highly recommend this company!

These guys are great.  They arrived exactly at the beginning of the timeframe they said they would, and got to work right away.  They kept everything neat (even AS they worked), and conducted surgery on the water heater like proper professionals.  They had good dispositions and kept me updated on what they were doing, how they were going to do it, and how to possibly avoid issues in the future.
I think there are cheaper options out there, and honestly, the lady on the phone who set up the appointment wasn't exactly super sweet, but the actual service experience and result are worth the price.

Highly recommend. I needed a new water heater. They said it would be four days before they could install it, but then they were able to install it two days early. I appreciated getting hot water two days earlier than I thought. On top of that, the final price was cheaper than what they quoted me over the phone.

Normally when I get anything done at the house, I expect it to take longer, and be more expensive, than what I'm promised. This might be the only time in my life where it got done quicker, and cheaper. The installers were also super nice and quick. Great job!

Diagnosed why my hot water tank's pilot light kept going out over the phone.  It turned out to be a known manufacturer defect of the gas control valve on my particular Rheem model. Manufacturer shipped me the new replacement part and then one of Jeff's plumbers responded the same day in a very timely and professional manner. Definitely recommend them for their customer service, competency, responsive, and value - thank you  Jeff's Westside Plumbing.

Great plumbers, very reasonably priced.  We have worked with Westside several times.  Most recently they helped rescue an outdoor natural gas grill that another plumber had really messed up on. Absolute pros who showed up that morning.  Thanks guys!

Jeff's charged me $5k to upgrade and replace my water heater. They said they were going to run the exhaust pipe in the wall. They didn't. They could have at least sealed the dry wall. I've used them a couple of times and every time they get sloppier and do a worse job. I can not recommend

Good customer service from beginning to end. I was referred to them after I had my first home owner underground water pipe leak. I was given an appointment within two days. I was lucky I didn't have to go through another company to find the leak as we had an idea as to where it was. The guys showed up in masks, friendly, and CLEAN. Appreciated they cleaned up after they finished. I can't say if the pricing was good or not since we hadn't ever done this before but I'd recommend them!

I called on a Thursday and explained to the receptionist that my water was backing up into my sink and washer drain. She stated that she didn't have any one now but she could send someone out on Friday between 1 and 5. I told her that would be great, she took down my address and phone number and advised me that they would call when they were heading out to my home. Firday came and nothing, no call no plumbers. I called them back at 4:30 and asked the receptionist if they were on their way. She said that she didn't have any plumbers to send out and asked when I had called, I told her I had just called her yesterday and she was the one who booked the appointment. She just keept saying she had no one to send out they had all left for the day. She apparently had forgotten to schedule me in and really didn't care I needed a plumber.  I can't say anything about the plumbers but the customer service that the receptionist gave was extremely unprofessional!!!!! Never again!!!!

I guess third time's the charm here. My bf decided to call Jay's Westside Plumbing after Roto Rooter didn't show up for days. Jay's kept their word and showed up at 4 pm on a Friday. We called them at around 1 pm the same day so that was awesome! They said they would show up before 5 pm.

Our master toilet and shower were both clogged up. They got clogged due to some heavy rains we had a while back. Our sewage system/pipes in the backyard got clogged up! The plumbers had to do most of the fixing in the backyard. It took three plumbers to get the job done! Another plumber from another place said we would have to take out the toilet in order to repair but that wasn't true. These plumbers used their tools/equipment in the backyard and were able to unclog both of them. They couldn't finish it on Friday so they came back at around 9am on Saturday. I thought it was kind of early but hey...at least they were being professional and taking the job seriously!

All three of the plumbers did a great job! They were kind and professional. Their rates are a bit more than I wanted to pay but I was glad they were able to fix this issue! I would call them again if I ever have any other plumbing issues. They take their work seriously. They also wore masks every time they had to come inside the house. I highly recommend Jeff's Westside Plumbing! They won't leave you hanging for days! They keep their word which is gold for me!

Had a dreaded toilet backup late Friday afternoon.  Called Jeff's Westside Plumbing and they were at my home within two hours.  Cleaned out the sewer line and I was good to go.....literally!  Junior was one of the plumbers; he was super professional and friendly.  Although I had to pay an after-hours fee, I felt the total charge was super reasonable.  Thank you Jeff's Westside Plumbing!

I called them because my brand new dishwasher was backing up with water from the sink. He came out (I think he was a plumber) he looked under the sink and said nothing wrong, probably the hose was laying on the floor so he clamped it and charged me 90$$. Next day, it is still backing up with water. Time to call a real plumber
