I'll admit, it was a nightmare scenario: 9:00 p.m. on a Friday night and my toilet is clogged to hell and back. The two plumbing companies I've used in the past are booked solid for the evening, so I pick this company out of the phone book, blind.

The plumber cleared the line and fixed the problem, but it took him nearly two hours (when this happened before the plumber was in and out in about 45 minutes), and I couldn't understand nary a word he said. Now, before you color me a racist, I teach English as a Second Language as a living, resided overseas for 13 years, and am myself bilingual. Despite having worked  with English learners since 1988, I simply could not make out what this man was trying to tell me.

Worse, he didn't understand me. I needed to have the job divided into two separate bills - one I would pay, and one that I would pay and then present to my condo association for reimbursement. He couldn't understand what I wanted, and insisted giving me just one bill for the entire amount. He and I went 'round and 'round, with both of us getting more and more frustrated, before I was able to convince him that I wasn't trying to stiff him out of $300; I just wanted a the bill divided into two parts.

Frustrating in the extreme.

Decided to replace our 20+ year old water heater before it failed. Yesterday morning, Friday,  I had instant hot water anywhere in the house. Paid $2200 dollars for a new 50 gallon water heater. After 4 hours of work, the new water heater is installed. We now have no hot water. The tech has no explanation, and told me he will try and get back to me next week, but he is very busy. I have no idea when or if the problem will be fixed. Just ran the water in my kitchen sink for 5 minutes - no hot water. You be the judge.....I think I chose the wrong company.  I have another plumber coming out tomorrow ( Sunday ) , to try and get us some hot water.

I had an issue with my shower valve causing a constant drip. My house is practically new (2 yrs old) but the homebuilder would not cover this issue due to my house being slightly out of warranty. Fresno Plumbing Is the contractor for this homebuilder and they took it upon themselves to come rectify the problem. I tip my hat to them for doing the right thing.

I had a leak in my attic and didn't have a plumber. I found fresno plumbing on yelp and they were great. This was my first time using them and they responded to my yelp post very quickly.  They came out the next day and were very helpful. They ran into a few issues and took the extra time and effort to make sure they fixed the problem correctly. The price was reasonable and I would highly recommend their services.

When I scheduled my appointment I made the service requests that I needed rendered clear as day. The technician that arrived was prompt however his initial manners and questions were irrelevant to the job. Inappropriate from a subjective standpoint in my opinion. The worst part of the experience was that I rearranged my entire day to accommodate doing business with this company only to be told that he couldn't proceed with the job on the day scheduled because it exceeded his window! Had I been told upfront at the time of scheduling that the job would interfere with another job, then I wouldn't have wasted my entire day! Nor would I have to write this review. I was considerate of their time by taking the day off to meet with them and they certainly did not reciprocate consideration for my time. The customer! I expressed my frustration with the office and they told me to not be rude because there was no need to be upset! Yikes! ‍

On two separate occasions we had this company come out to perform work. The first was a scheduled water heat flush and the second was an emergency sewage drain clog during the weekend. On both days the service was great, and they took care of the job to my expectations.  The price might be a little higher than other companies, but their level of service made up for it.

We live in a 90 year old house.  The water completely stopped on a Saturday evening (of course).  We finally found someone willing to come out the next morning and that was Fresno Plumbing. It took forever to figure out all the bizarre, added on over the years, piping in the yard and finally found the source of the problem on Monday.  That was after they hooked us up to the neighbors faucet so we could have water in two bathrooms on Sunday afternoon.  It took a total of three whole days to find and fix the mess we had on our hands and the staff was dedicated hard working and polite every minute.  After paying the hefty bill I calculated that they actually gave us a break on the job probably because of the huge number of man hours involved. I am so grateful and highly recommend this firm!

We're in a 25 year old house, just at the point where a lot of the original plumbing is starting to go a little weird.  After calling Fresno Plumbing out a few times for issues caused by our dishwasher (don't ask lol), we used them when a tub stopped up badly, and started leaking. They were able to take care of the problem quickly, and were very reasonable on the bill too!

So they did the plumbing on my new construction home and the tub in the guest bath and the shower in the master bath are sinking/bending (how ever you want to put it) It has caused an unsafe surface to take a shower in. I am a disabled Vet and an uneven floor without being in the shower is hard enough to navigate.
While dealing with this company they have no sense of urgency to get this fixed. I reminded them that it is not safe and can cause injury that leads to a lawsuit and he just said OK, have a good day I said dont hang up on me and he replied I thought you said what you needed to say. This was after the Supervisor got on the phone and started in on I thought we worked out the solution with the builder and you need to contact them...etc
I had to tell him I am not calling about that but a time frame. How un-professional to argue with a customer about something I didnt even bring up. He was referring to a conversation over a month ago. Oh yea its been unsafe for almost two months.

I spent a half million dollars on my home and have to get a hotel because of this company not placing any priority on safety and health.

Update...So they don't want to deal with rude people. If that's the case sir you shouldn't pick up the phone and immediately go on a rant about how you thought the repair (how it's being done) was settled with the builder and I would need to call them instead of letting me voice my concern  over waiting until next month with an unsafe shower l, when it's your schedule. Then when I did voice my concern you just (I don't remember your exact words) said bye. I had to stop you just to get a response. I only cursed at the end when hanging up on you because you made it very clear that my wife falling in the shower ment nothing to you and for me to go ahead and sue...

Fresno Plumbing did a great job for my broken pipe. It was in between the 1st and 2nd floor, so not an easy job. Gene was awesome and very knowledgeable. The office staff was great as well. I would reccomend this place for all your  plumbing needs.

We needed to get our Tankless Water Heater flushed, so we looked online and decided to use Fresno Plumbing & Heating. The Technician that came to our house was very professional and courteous to my wife. The tech was in and out within the hour and cleaned up after himself. I am very happy with the level of service and professionalism Fresno Plumbing offered to my wife and I. I will certainly recommend Fresno Plumbing to my friends, family, and local neighbors.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced from any company. Called for service due to a burst pipe and they sent someone to fix the issue. My husband noticed the job was done incorrectly so we called for a service man to return and they sent Chris out the next day. Chris was the most unprofessional and service man we have encountered. He arrived clearly irritated to be there and when my husband asked him a question related to the burst pipe Chris responded that he was choosing not to complete this service call and walked off leaving the job incomplete and our family without water. We also spoke to Larry at Fresno Plumbing about Chris' behavior and Larry was just as unprofessional as Chris. We asked to speak to the owner and Larry informed us that there wasn't anyone on the staff that we used to work with because the company was sold about a year ago and is now an employee-owned company, meaning the employees run the business. This may be the reason the service men feel they can be so rude to customers. We have used Fresno Plumbing for all our plumbing needs in the past but this was the last time we will ever be calling them for anything and we will never refer anyone to them again.

Called for a water leak at our business.  Even though it was the end of the day they responded quickly.   Got us water into the building for the night and did the repair today.   Armando was excellent.  Quality and customer service minded.   No complaints at all.   Office staff was great to deal with as well.    This was a great experience.

I had a leaky pullout kitchen faucet hose that caused leaking underneath the cabinet....as a do it yourself person..i bought an Original Price Phister hose and tried to replace it my self but couldnt get the old one off.So i called Fresno plumbing and they sent Christian out the next morning at 8 am.He was very personable and fixed it in 15 min..i even got a 10% discount for being a new customer....can't beat that!

We had 2 outside faucets that were leaking. I called Fresno Plumbing and they sent someone over the next day. Bill was able to fix it quickly and he saved me from spending more money.

I was in a country house that is over a hundred years old. The septic had forced all the pipes to be clogged. I called in the afternoon and they had someone out 3 hours later. That guy snaked the line till everything was working. Then did not charge me. He was going to come back in a week to make sure it was okay before money changed hands. That is awesome service. I will call them again for any problem I ever have.

As a single lady / homeowner, I do a lot of checking around with friends whenever I need any services for my home. I had a very good recommendation from a friend and so I used Fresno Plumbing and Heating for tub leak coming from behind the wall at the floor. The service tech was excellent - really knew his stuff, resolved the problem, and the cost was less than I had anticipated.

Several years ago, we had Fresno Plumbing and Heating install the plumbing for our new house, which was located at least an hour from their headquarters. We found the owner and his staff to be very friendly and their work completely satisfactory.

More recently we had a 95% blocked drainage line for all of our basement plumbing. My husband had spent hours working on it without success. Finally I called in Fresno Plumbing and Heating. The young man who came was very personable, was determined and persistent, had a well-equipped truck, and was soon successful in solving our problem. I'm seriously thinking of calling them back in for a different problem that Hubby hasn't yet solved.

Fresno Plumbing and Heating is definitely my go-to plumber in the greater Fresno area.

Our kitchen sink clogged three days before Thanksgiving.  A friend of ours and her business had worked with FP&H and recommended them to me.  They were able to send a tech the following Wednesday.  They arrived on time.  The tech, Christian was very professional and courteous.  He fixed the problem in less than half an hour.  Cleaned after himself and answered all my questions. The price I thought was fair and even gave me a discount on top of that.  I would highly recommend this company.  Try asking for him.

We called around to so many places to get a quote for backflow testing. This was the only place that was able to schedule an appointment within a couple of days. Everywhere else was booked 2 weeks-couple months out due to Covid. They were also the one that would be able to service the same day of the testing if it didn't pass. Other places told me I would have to schedule two appointments, one for testing one for service if needed. I also left many messages for other companies. Only a couple of them called me back. This place answered my phone call right away, twice.

Their price was comparable to every company I called. It was $100. They didn't pressure me in placing my card on file before the appointment.

They gave us a 4 hour window between 8am-12pm. The day of the appointment, a man called me to tell me he was on his way. About 15 minutes later he said he was at my location, but I didn't see anyone out front. He was at the wrong place! The operator put in the wrong address. It was completely off. The man apologized and it took him about 20 minutes to drive across town to meet me. Glad I wasn't in a rush to go anywhere.

The testing took only a few minutes and he was out of there. I was so glad I was able to reach this company.

Called them out 3 weeks ago to do a basic rotoroot and spent $160. Just had to have them come out again to do the same job when the bathroom started backing up and had to pay another $100. Great company if you want to pay $260 for a basic rotoroot and have it take multiple trips.

We have used this service on two separate occasions, within a 1 week span. The first time the tech was prompt and courteous, we were very happy with him. However, the following weekend the exact same thing happened, this leads me to believe maybe something was not done right the first time. I am not a plumber so of coarse I do not know for sure.  When the tech Bill called me, I mentioned this to him our thoughts and he instantly was very rude and not helpful, he also was very adamant that because he was booked for 3-4 hours he was probably not going to make it to us. He was horribly rude throughout this entire conversation. Had he been polite, I would have waited for him to arrive with no issue. Because of his attitude I will never use this service for my business again! I am extremely disappointed in the fact that Fresno Plumbing would allow an employee to conduct themselves in this manner. If it were not for the first tech this plumbing service would receive 1 star.

Wow really, the girl in service that books appt is rude, they wanted to charge me $125 just for trip charge that is 1/2hr away, then another $85 service fee above whatever was wrong!  Have always recommended them to family & friends for years, NO MORE!

They installed new water heater 2017 $1,500 later and now Only 4 yrs old same problem again ( bubbling nosies when hot water is going )  my warranty was only 1 yr. And I called them they were So RUDE !!

I set up an appointment on a Thursday from 1pm-3pm.  I received a call at work at 12pm on Wednesday, the day before, saying that the technician was there but there was no one home.  I told them they are there at the wrong time & wrong day.  So we set it up again for the following day, the Thursday from 1pm-3pm.  I took time off work.  waited at the house & at around 2:50 called to see when someone was going to arrive.  they looked up my appointment & blamed the technician for not calling into the office after his last appointment.  I wasted half a day's pay!  and still they did not come!  maybe that was for the best, if this place can't even show up for an appointment, I'm sure their work is bellow average too.  I will bad mouth this company for anyone that asks me what plumbing company I use.

First and foremost the woman that answers the phone is incredibly rude. You don't even get to finish your sentence and she's already rudely telling you exactly what does not answer your question! That is annoying AF!

At any rate I called because the mainline was clogged. They were out two hours later and the plumber was kind, fast and careful not to tare up my concrete beyond what was absolutely needed. In fact, you can't tell he had to chip around the vent unless you really look. He cleaned up after himself and fixed the problem.

I had asked him for a quote on a different issue and he kind of acted like he didn't want to be bothered by it. No biggie since I figured he was going off to another call. He did let me know that it would be quite an ordeal though. So, I was okay with that, just surprised they didn't want more business.

He then took my credit card info and handed me a receipt. As I recall he called the number into the office so I figured it was being charged. No worries.

Eleven days later I received a bill. I called the office and the rude lady answered the phone again and no surprise she was rude. Her attitude is very much it is what it is rather than trying to u sweat and the customer and be polite. She cut me off before I could ask the question regarding the billing then said, oh wait. You haven't been charged yet. So... you took my credit card, called the number in but never charged it? Lame. She then explained that it takes one to two weeks. Then she said a week. I told her they need to communicate that to people she cut me off again and said they do.

Clearly they don't or I wouldn't have called when I received the bill.

Bringing me to my next issue that attempted to ask and was cut off.... if you aren't billing for two weeks but sending out bills in the meantime... how many people just send checks the turn around and have their cards charged as well thus paying twice? She cut me off again with that oh well attitude to the point I just stopped trying and hung up.

Just be forewarned in those odd ball things but the guy that came out got the job done. Also the quote she gave me and what was actually charged were different. She indicated a simple clog was 125 and I was charged a bit more  as I recall. The tech said he didn't find any instructions just like build up. I'm assuming the extra was maybe for the work of having to chisels the vent. No worries. Techs seem good the receptionist needs some remedial people skills. Woulda been another star or so but the lady was just too dang rude.

The reception lady is really rude. I've been using them for almost two years now. I remembered them to be great last year. I had a really good impression. This year, I called twice. Did use them in April although the lady was rude. The plumber was professional and sounded knowledgeable. In June, the drain was clogged again even after we went ahead and sneaked with the camera. Called again, the lady sounded really rude. It's sounded like she didn't want the business so I switched to Mr. Rooter. I asked if she could call the tenant, she said she did and the tenant did not respond. She said they are not going to chase him down for business. Sure I didn't ask her to. It'd be nice to follow up, just so I know. Just many little things. Short and impatient tone. Not easy to work with. I'd suggest the business should look for another receptionist if they don't want to continue to lose long term customers.
