HISTORY
Hello, my name is Angel Moreno, I am the founder and CEO of D&S Plumbing, Heating and Air. I was born and raised here in Fresno, CA. All while growing up, I was not immune to the hot summers and cold winters and for this reason I decided to go into the HVAC and Plumbing industry. At an early age I found a passion for serving the Fresno community and it's surrounding areas by providing professional plumbing, heating and air conditioning services. I obtained a certificate through Universal Technical Institute in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology in 1994 and have since been in the industry. I've served the central valley for 20 years and plan to continue, until I retire and my son's continue on the family business. On my days off I like to spend time with my grandkids, BBQ, relax and watch a good movie and football.

I had a well known company come (they had a special) to check my air conditioner, and found a leak in the coil. $2100 for a new one. I called D and S because they were recommended by a friend who raved about their plumbing capabilities, and they gave me an alternative which was to seal the coil. It is guaranteed for a year, and one tenth the price. Hopefully it will last me a few years, and then will replace the whole unit which is now 12 years old. They also charge $14 less a pound for freon than the big company did. They are very efficient and extremely friendly.

Great service! Called on late Sunday afternoon and they were out first thing Monday morning and repaired in no time!
We are a GC builder and this company did a great job for us they plumbed and entire food processing plant for us and if they can do that they can handle anything thank you D and S

Mary was knowledgeable and had great customer service over the phone. My main line was backed up. Eric showed up on time and was straight to the point. He got the line cleaned out in a timely manner and let me know how it could have gotten clogged.

I called for a quote on a super slow shower drain. Got a quote, made the order and my issue was resolved within 2 hours of making the call. Technician was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. My massive head loses a lot of hair and they got out a snowball of hair lol. Thanks guys.

After an overnight plumbing emergency, D&S not only was able to provide same-day service, but technician Eric arrived two-hours early. He expertly troubleshot and repaired the drain issue, meanwhile displaying the utmost in courtesy and professionalism. Eric represents D&S well and I highly recommend D&S. Well done!
I stumbled upon D&S yesterday, when searching for a plumber to handle an emergency at home. This, after being disappointed with the company that I first called and ultimately chose not to go with.
From the moment these folks answered the phone, to the ultra fast response time (well under an hour), to the great technician they sent out and the professional quality work he did, I couldn't have been more impressed. Oh, and the price was more than reasonable. It's clear to me why I'm seeing virtually all five-star reviews here for this company. They've obviously earned it!
In a city where, to me, mediocrity in business seems to be the norm - as I have expressed in other reviews - this company stands out to me as a notable exception to that rule.

D&S AC technician Eric was great! I called made an appointment he showed up early and was very professional and friendly. Assessed the problem and then fixed the problem all in a timely manner. I will definitely be calling D & S again if and when I need AC repairs or maintenance. Honesty and professionalism goes a long way!
Our A/C went out late Friday night in the middle of summer. We called D&S early Saturday morning and they were able to squeeze us in. We were given an 11-1 time frame, but our technician called us at 10:30 and let us know he was going to be early. Angel, our technician, was able to diagnose our A/C quickly and had it repaired within two hours! Angel was extremely friendly and knowledgable about the work he does! I would definitely recommend D&S Plumbing to anybody needing an A/C repair!
I called D and S plumbing when my fixit skills went south and I needed a professional to take over. Mary in the office had someone out to my house within 2 hours! Eric arrived right on time and fixed my toilet in no time, very professional, took the time to explain what he did to make everything run like it should again. I would not hesitate to hire them again in the future. Highly reccomend!
I feel like they over charge me for a $600 water heater replacement. They could have just fixed the part and cleaned the screen. My plumber buddy said I got screwed. I am going to pay $1750.... I kinda of feel sick to my stomach.

Tl;dr: punctual, knowledgable, professional, friendly, cost-effective!
Had a bad leak in an iron drain pipe (with concrete slab foundation) and they were able to give a rough estimate over the phone (with the possibility of increase if they couldn't easily access a structurally sound portion of pipe. I called at like 6 yesterday and they were out to fix it today which was great because I couldn't use my kitchen or bathroom sinks as they both used this drain! Angel came within the timeframe they gave and was very professional and knowledgable! He worked really hard to make sure everything was done right and did a wonderful job! Would absolutely recommend D&S to anyone and everyone!
The best plumbing service! Courteous , reasonable , professional are just a few words to describe this business. Angel is an Angel . When installing my new bath tub he asked me questions to make sure that the tub would be installed in such a way along with the tub fixtures to best suit my needs . The other guys that accompanied him were courteous and experienced , knowing exactly what to do . The cost was reasonable and all their work was professionally done . Afterwards they cleaned up their work area leaving me with the feeling that I had made a good choice in D and S Plumbing . Many times when calling a business needing their services it's a little like a crap shoot . Will they know what they are doing ? Are they going to charge me an exorbitant amount ? Especially in the case of a single girl these are natural concerns. No such worries with this business . They are trustworthy and will prove it by their service in your home .

D & S plumbing was highly professional. They serviced our units in a quick and efficient manner. The technician was friendly, competent and early. I loved working with them and will certainly call on them again.
Up to this point our experience with HVAC people was pretty dismal. The previous company told us they were going to install Coleman unit. When they began to put in an unbranded piece of equipment and I asked about it the installer became confrontational and didn't really want to talk about it.
I'm so glad we have someone new who appears to operate with integrity.
Although I went with another plumber (only because I got so many responses) I wanted to leave a good review for D&S plumbing for their quick and professional response! If I need help in the future I will reach out. Thanks again for being so responsive! I will reach it for any future needs.

These guys are great! I had my 4th job done this morning by D & S and EVERY time they are timely, professional and reasonably priced. I'm not much of a reviewer but here is my experience this week:
-Had a plumbing stoppage at our house
-Reported to our home warranty company
-They sent a plumber out who spent 5 minutes walking around and said we needed to install something (~$1200) for him to clear the stoppage
-Called D & S myself, they came right away and had the stoppage taken care of in less than 2 hours, without the $1200 part!
-Eric and Angel from D & S have done multiple jobs for us and have been excellent every single time!
-100 stars!

Enjoyed the A/C for a couple of weeks, then the weather got really nice and I didn't really need A/C anymore. Then w/ the first cold weather, I find that the heater wasn't working. Thought I could tough it out until next week when the hubby would be off from work to be home for a service call. Saw the weather forecast of 30 degrees in the mornings and decided to leave work early to get the heat fixed. D&S came to my rescue again; was able to come to the house the day that I called. The service technician came EARLY and had the heat going in less than an hour. Even gave me a tip that the cheap thin filters are better than the thicker, more expensive ones. The thinner ones allow easier air flow. Thanks again D&S!

D&S Rocks!!!! Maria the boss rocks!!! They all rock!!! I was having A/C problems in the middle of some very hot days and they were able to come and in a matter of 1 day Maria was able to make it happen and was able to secure our new A/C the very next day! True story! Now I have air flow in places we never felt before! Anyhow they did a professional install in a timely manner! D&S is the place to call for A/C Heating or plumbing!
Wow! I just couldn't help but let everyone know how awesome D&S is, I called them out to unplug some clogged drains for me and service my a/c and can I say not only their work is great but their customer service and customer relations... Upon arriving they took every precaution not to dirty my home and no matter if it took booties for their shoes or a laying down tarps in their work area they did it! Shortly after they finish I found them cleaning as I ran to grab wallet my and my house ended up cleaner than when they arrived. Great job will use your services any time

My faucet was broke in my apartment and the maintenance guys were late getting it fixed and were not able to fix issue. I called D and S and they came same day and fixed it right away. Great service, very friendly and fast. Eric was the tech that came to fix it and he was awesome. Highly recommend.

Nick was very professional and took care of the issue very quickly. Will definitely use D&S for any future needs.
Prompt and courteous service. Serviced both AC units, checked out our vents and took the time to answer all of our questions. Will recommend, and will use again.
I can't recommend D & S Heating & Air enough. They responded quickly and Mary worked really hard to get a tech out to look at our heater issues that same day. Amazing work ethic, communication, and reasonable cost. Go with D & S and you won't regret it one bit.
