With 20 years of industry experience Sergey Ivanov started Serge Electric Company in 2006. Serge Electric has quickly set itself apart from other electrical service companies in the Bay area for our commitment to high quality work, the wide range of services we offer, and our dedication to 100% customer satisfaction. In 2017 we are changed our business name from Serge Electric to Bit Electrical Inc. Please be advised that there is no change in management. By the name change, we hope to expand the company as well as keep up the good reputation we have had over 16 years. We will continue providing the same service.

I have not left many Yelp reviews. Generally don't review unless I have an outstanding experience. After contacting two other electrical companies who ghosted me, I had to leave Sergey a review. He responded to my query on a Saturday evening, tried to help me over the phone, made an appointment for today, showed up early and took care of the problem quickly. 5 stars Sergey! I have had Bit Electrical come out and do several jobs so far. Serge and his team first assisted with wiring a new video doorbell. I then had them return and install recessed lighting throughout some of the house.
They were extremely professional, covered the floor with drop cloths and made little to no mess. They then vacuumed and cleaned up everything after finishing the job. I am extremely happy with the new recessed lighting and switches that were installed. I will be calling Serge and his team in the future for additional electrical needs.

Sergey and his team at Bit Electrical are the best. They are efficient, professional, and helpful! I just bought a house and the fuse box needed to be replaced as it was super old and corroded, and I wanted to upgrade from 100 to 200 amps. At the same time, they also fixed my broken doorbell so that I could power my video doorbell, which works beautifully. Beyond the amazing work they did, they handled the permits and final walkthrough with the inspector on my behalf. Couldn't be happier. I will be calling them again for any other electrical work I need done in the future!

Two of our outlets were on the fritz, and we were worried that repairing them was going to be a huge headache. Alex to the rescue! He and his assistant were prompt, professional and incredibly efficient. They were so fast that I even asked them to look at a flickering light in our attic...which they managed to fix too! We'll definitely be calling them for any and all future electrical issues.
Sergey, was the only electrician who was willingly to come and check my electric issue in my kitchen; other contractors did not even bother calling back or doesn't even want to take the job because it's just a small work for them. He even flexed his time for me so I don't have to rush home to meet him. He give free estimates and understandable pricing.

I called asking for help in fixing an electrical outlet. He told me to email him, so I did. I never heard back from him. I sent a follow-up email and still never heard back.

I recently got electrical issues in my property and I just checked Yelp for electrical services and Bit Electrical caught my eye. I called and Sergey right away went to my house and did a check. He's a very honest and sincere person, that's my first impression. He told me what happened and how they're going to solve my electrical problems. He did a quick quote and schedule his team the next day. I was so impressed with their job! Whatever he told me, they did it and more. Sergey and his team delivered and all the things he told me happened and even the quote was on the spot!

Artists... I loved the team from Bit Electrical. They did high-quality work, were very responsive, and were pleasant to have in my house. The value was incredible, and they did exactly what I wanted exactly the way I wanted it done.
I chose to do the work on a time and materials basis rather than fixed quote, and the initial work they did -- installing an upgraded circuit for a new range -- was $1500 vs. the fixed price quote of $7500 from another 5-star Yelp-reviewed electrician.
They also routed the wires skillfully where I wanted them to through the walls and ceiling with a minimum of holes vs. another proposal to simply drill through my cabinets and leave wires exposed. They've installed new recessed lighting, extra receptacles, split some circuits (light and fan combined into separate circuits), installed internet cabling.
They worked effectively with the City inspector, and were able to provide good advice on the topic of inspections.
I learned that the prior electricians I had hired had not done everything to code. BIT Electrical did.
We have had a couple of electrical issues that needed to be addressed. I called Bit Electrical out of a Diamond Certified book that I had. Sergey, the owner was very responsive and got right back to me. He came out within a few days. We went over everything and he made a couple of suggestions that made sense since he was going to be here. Work was agreed to as time and materials. On the day of repairs, Sergey came out with his guy and showed him everything. Work was done efficiently and care was taken to cover up counters and floors. Sergey himself came back for a fan/ vent replacement that needed two men to do. When the original guy had to leave at the end of the day, others guys were right here to take over and finish the job so they didn't have to come back. So happy I found Bit Electrical!
We highly recommend them.
It was more of a consult or rather an honest recommendation I got from Mr. Imanov when I spoke with him and presented my electrical issue this morning. He recommended I call PG&E first to get the issue checked and if needed, he will be available for an emergency service. It was a quick fix for PG&E. I still have some other electrical issues that need to be addressed however. At least now I know who to call and trust to do the job. Great (telephone) customer service . Will definitely recommend.

Was supposed to post this before Christmas but didn't get time until now. Technician sent to Dad's house was great, friendly, attentive, and answered all of my questions. Fixed outlets, replaced plates, put in a new hardwired smoke detector. Made our old house feel electrically safe again. Thank you for your service!

He said he will stop by tomorrow which was Wednesday. He came at 10 like he said and he fixed my electrical issue with no problem. I was in a panic when our power went out and the main circuit breaker switch broke. Sergey came quickly (about 15 minutes) and was able to track down the part, replace some wires, and fix everything quickly. That was a big load off my mind!

Great service, Serge Electric was on site 15min ahead of schedule, I was at work at that time and took lunch break just to have small electrical problem fixed, they were done in under 30min!

Serge form Bit Electric has been my go to electrician for many years. From doing a complete electrical upgrade at my previous house to problem shooting at my current house. He is knowledgeable, courteous & fairly priced.
Serge's crew did an awesome job to update our living room. They installed recess lightings and a chandelier for us. The crew was courteous and professional. There was a mishap with one of the light, but Serge took care of it promptly. I am totally will recommend Serge to anybody
Serge Electric installed new circuts & outlets of new LED pendant/recessed/ceiling lights for my new kitchen and dining rooms. Serge and all the staff are very professional and reliable. His workmanship and design ideas are great.

I called Serge to confirm our appointment which was scheduled for 2pm-3pm. He told me that I was trying to pull a fast one on him and that he didn't need my business. He then hung up on me. Very unprofessional.
Among all the electric companies I got a quote from, he has the most affordable and reasonable price. One quoted me for $300 for a half hour job. Ridiculous.
Serge arrived on time and was flexible when I had to reschedule twice. He was able replace our old ceiling fan with a West Elm chandelier in less than an hour. He did a good job and was polite and professional. I highly recommend him for any electrical services.

I'm so relieved that I found an electrician contractor so understating, fair and informative about an issue I had with PG&E. PG&E snapped my weather line cable and opened a whole can of worms when I found out that I had to find a electrician by myself to fix it and upgrade my electrical panel. Serge came same day to give me a reasonable quote. Not only the quote was fair but he was understanding and very confident about his work. Did I mention this company is Diamond certified! Serge's staff was very thorough, friendly and patient. I highly recommend this company to help with all electric needs. Thank you again to Serge and his awesome staff for being there for my time of need.

Super happy with my decision to go with Bit Electrical. My uncle made the mistake of shutting all the power out in our house and we had no idea how toack on. It was very important to me that I find a licensed electrician, not just an ordinary one, and one that could come on the same day. He literally got here in FIFTEEN MINUTES from my phone call and fixed our problem. He was also very polite!

I highly recommend Serge Electric because you can trust Serge with confidence! He kindly offered to reduce the cost of his visit because he fixed the problem so quickly. The plugs in our kitchen weren't working. We thought it would be a complex repair to the circuit breaker panel, but when Serge arrived, he found a concealed plug with reset buttons. He simply pressed the reset button, which fixed the problem. Normally, Serge would charge $180 for the first hour and $100 for each hour thereafter, which seems totally reasonable and similar to the rates of other professionals in this type of work. The reduced cost for his visit due to the easy fix is a testament to Serge's generosity, honesty, and integrity. I know I can trust Serge not to take advantage of my lack of knowledge regarding electrical issues. I would definitely call Serge again if we experience any electrical problems--he is both friendly and trustworthy. (He's also prompt: Serge came to our home immediately, arriving within 20 minutes.) I give Serge Electric my highest recommendation!
Great Service. The tech arrived on time. replaced to broken outlets and a transformer. He cleaned up after himself and did a job fast but with attention to detail.

We used Serge last year when we purchased our new home and needed electrical work done.
He installed recessed lighting in 3 rooms and pendant lights in the kitchen. He also did under cabinet lights under the counters. And he wired the house for internet and cable on both floors.
He was a total pro, very courteous and honest. Of all the contractors we worked with to remodel our house, the experience with Serge was the best with no headaches what so ever. Highly recommended.

I contacted Serge to obtain an estimate for installing electrical wiring for a new cooktop and fan. He came over to the house that evening and provided a reasonable estimate. While it was not generally something he perform in his line of work, Serge agreed to install the cooktop and fan in addition to the wiring. Serge did a great job! I would use his services again in the future.
