Highly recommend!! Ricardo is very professional and friendly.  He makes sure you understand the process and will show you any parts.  His pricing is very reasonable.  When i called for an appt. he made sure to accommodate my schedule.  Very knowledgeable plumber!

Called him to get a quote to fix tub faucet. He was fast and came the following day. He was fast and reliable his price was fair. Will be using him in the future.

Called this company originally cause of the good reviews they had and set up an appointment. Poor responsiveness, constant rescheduling. Not good. Did not fix the plumbing issue I had. I would not recommend using this company.

Was not happy with the experience I had with big boy plumber. This review is not based on the actual work since for some reason I could not get them to come. I reached out based on a referral, and made an appointment. I waited for hours for them to come and when they never came I reached out apparently the owner was under the assumption that someone had contacted me to reschedule because he couldn't make it. Fine. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because things happen and oh well. We rescheduled for the next day and while I had a busy day I made sure to be here for a couple hours and wait in them to come. Once again no one came and when I reached out, I was left on read. Pretty crappy experience. Once again this is not based on the work this is based on the reliability of the business. Luckily I reached out to a different plumber who was here within 15 min of reaching out.

They responded fast, and got the job done at an extremely cheap price. Will use their services, again, if another issue were to arise.

Contacted through home warranty. Came out and gave an estimate. Approved the work to be done. Never came back (missed scheduled appointment) and stopped answering phone calls. Literally 3 weeks with no hot water. Warranty company finally cancelled their work approval. Avoid by all means.

Had Ricardo come over to give me an estimate to replace a drain pipe. He came and gave me options (which was nice! Didn't feel pressured at all to pursue anything I didn't want to) he gave me my estimate and had me think about it. Called him later that day and he came over the next to do the work! Extremely pleased that he came EARLIER Than he was supposed to VS. being late. He cleaned up after himself and explained everything to me. Will use again and will highly recommend!

Again, Yelp! found me a plumber when I couldn't find one in my town.  I got 3 responses quickly and Big Boy could get here first.  They wanted more for the extra drive, but they ended up charging less than the original estimate.  Using the Yelp! app, I texted them a photo of the leak, and even though I had no idea what I was looking at, they knew exactly what had broken.  They brought the right parts and fixed it quickly.  I'm very happy that it's fixed.  I probably let the leak go on too long without doing anything, because it seemed very small.  But then it got bigger.  Once I noticed the sound and the plants growing fast next to the house, then suddenly I needed to rush.  Oh well.  Let that be a lesson for me to stay on top of these things better.  
Big Boy deserves a good recommendation for quickly responding on Yelp!, making & keeping an appointment that suited me, asking good questions and diagnosing the leaky pressure regulator from the photo in advance.

Showed up during the time frame explained what was happening and got to work,drain needed snaked with a heavier duty snake then the one that goes on a drill.

Do not use this company, they are dishonest.  They told my home warranty company that I had a broken sewer line and they never came onto my property.  They came to my back gate, never called to tell me they were here and left.  He was here 1 minute.  Worst service I have ever had with a company.

If I had 4 hands I would give them 4 thumbs down.Lack of communication. Unprofessional on the phone and didn't have insurance.

Ricardo gave us a quote on a Saturday and then the  morning (Wednesday) he was supposed to install decided to increase the price by $400.  Instead of having integrity and professionalism, he refused to do the job for the quite he gave.   He stated that he needed to charge $400 for his labor and that he charges $65/hr.  It's funny how much they charge hourly compared to other professions.  I definitely would not depend on him due to lack of dependability, integrity, and professionalism.  On top of that, I spoke to Ferguson's who supply the water heaters and a 40 gl Bradford White water heater (kit included) is $616.68 out the door.  Ricardo indicated the prices had gone up but that was a lie.  So, since the water heater is around $600, he wanted $800 for his 2 hours of work? I'm so glad he lied and raised his prices because I was able to get an even better deal with some honest plumbers.   Be aware when replacing your water heater.  Unfortunately most plumbers want to take advantage of you because you're in quite a predicament.

We had an issue with our garbage disposal and a leak in the bathroom toilet tank. They were clean, polite, friendly, expedient, and professional. They were very reasonably priced. I would recommend them to my family and friends. Thank you for your help and you are now our go to plumbing company.

First and foremost, fat boy plumbing is horrible. They came to fix a problem that caused another problem. This is through my home warranty so it's not a plumber that I chose to hire. They came back for a recall and he stood there for 2 minutes without touching a damn thing and was told to send a video of the problem, which I did but he never messaged or called me back. Instead, I got an email that I owe an $85 service call fee because the plumber said they found no problem. How is this fair when he didn't even touch a damn thing or listened to what I was explaining. He is very unprofessional, rude and lazy!!!! Thanks for nothing plumbing man!

I had repair work that needed to be done at a rental.  I found Big Boy Plumber on Yelp!  They were quick to respond to my request and completed the repairs in a few hours. I support local businesses when I can and definitely recommend Big Boy Plumber.

Don't even bother using them. This is who we go through for our warranty and never again. They can't even finish their job. Our water heater has not been working properly for months and they just take their sweet time. I understand a few days but MONTHS?? This company is very unprofessional.  I called the day off of work because they said they would be coming today to fix the problem. I wait all day. Nobody answers the phone. Nobody calls me to let me know that they weren't coming. I called off a second time  because they said they will be coming out but they don't know what time. NO SHOW AGAIN. No call to let me know that they weren't coming. And again nobody answers the phone.

Home warranty company assigned Big Boy Plumbing to complete my service call. I asked for additional work be done to extend pipes to relocate my washer and dryer hook-ups. Scheduled and completed as promised. Very friendly and professional. I will definitely use Richard for any other plumbing work necessary. Thank you again!

Another toilet leak.  I tried to look for Ricardo's phone number and ended up posting on Yelp.  I get a message from Ricardo on what the estimate was to fix the issue but he was not free until the next day.  Meanwhile 3 other companies gave me their quotes and there were substantially higher.  When I mentioned the quote I got, one of the callers even laughed at me and said good luck.

Ricardo called me later in the day and said he can swing by the next day if I was still looking for a plumber.  I gave him the job and as usual, he came on time.  15 minutes later, the issue was resolved.  Not sure about the negative reviews he has here.  This is the 2nd time I have used Big Boy Plumber and do not see why I have to look elsewhere.

Very professional and on time. I had move my gas line for my new range and they did a wonderful job! Highly recommend them.

Our garbage disposal was making a nasty noise then it stopped working. He responded quickly and was able to schedule me with an appointment in a few days. I also purchased a bidet attachment and attempted to do it myself with no luck. I text him asking if he could take a look at my toilet and bidet attachment and he agreed to with no hesitation. He was very professional, quick, and friendly! He was also fairly priced! If anything ever comes up again I'll for sure be calling him again!

Amazing job and excellent attention to detail on my water heater thermostat replacement. The tank was drained which flushed out nearly a beach's worth of sediment! They also replaced the plastic hose bib on the drain valve with a brass one which I didn't even expect! They cleaned up perfectly afterwards. I will be calling them back to run gas lines in the future for my gas stove and hot tub.

Horrible experience with this company, unprofessional,  absolutely no professional phone etiquette,  when they finally did show up they were here for five minutes and told me that they had to submit my work order to my warranty company, which was fine but no one ever called to keep us updated, got it transferred to another company who actually fixed it the same day,  horrible customer service all the way around, if I could give zero stars I would

I had a problem with my shower, no hot water.  The hot water heater was on the fritz.  I put a shout out on Yelp (after Jay flushed the water heater to get rid of sediment).  I got 3 plumbers immediately, & expressed my problem- the pilot light was on, but no whoosh meaning the heater wouldn't ignite, even with a pilot light on.  Ricardo from Big Boy Plumbing immediately responded!  He replied that it's an easy fix & to call him.  The heater needed to be reset- it took literally less than a minute & the heater caught up after following his directions.  Incredible!!!  We were this close to going to Home Depot & putting out almost a grand for another hot water heater.  I am impressed, to say it lightly!!  Lynne Culla

We were referred to the owner, Ricardo, by our home warranty company.  We needed a plumbing leak from our upstairs bathroom diagnosed and repaired.  Ricardo called quickly upon receiving the referral, and was actually early for his appointment.   He quickly diagnosed the problem as an improperly installed toilet and plumbing.  He explained the work that was needed.  He went over and above to make sure an improperly installed toilet was installed correctly and done right.   We appreciate his good work and professionalism.

Maverick was the plumber that came out to our house to investigate a leak. He was friendly and seemed to have diagnosed our leak. However, this fix didn't actually fix our leak. Big boy has not submitted the paperwork to our home warranty which is completely stopping any progress on fixing our leak. The business does not answer calls from HWA or from my husband. The voicemail is full. We are hoping to see progress this week in a response to our calls and texts.

Ricardo is the best! Honest, gets the job done and is always on time. I thought I needed to replace a toilet and Ricardo did his magic and saved the toilet and my piggy bank. If you are ever in the situation of needing a plumber, give him a try. You will be happy with the results.

Contacted me promptly after requesting service through Yelp. Made an appointment and service was rendered within a reasonable time for a fair price. I was also given a couple of options for parts to decide on. I appreciated the opportunity to get the same overall service with different budget options.
I would definitely use Big Boy again when plumbing service is needed.

These guys are awesome. They show up on time and very professional. They were able to diagnose a hard to find problem and followed up with me every step of the way! Quality work too! Would recommend to anyone.

Very appreciative! He called me back within 10 minutes and set up an appointment for the following day. He assessed our plumbing issue and gave us a price quote that he stuck to. Prices are affordable and good. He is honest and has good integrity. He fixed our broken pipes and repaired the leak within an hour. No complaints, would recommend to friends and family. Complete waste! Unreliable, came out to fix sink but due to not having the parts handy they left. Unfortunately, didn't give estimated time of when they would return and just never came back. Didn't call us back or anything. Just not a good company and do not recommend.
