In 2006 Aaron Husak started in residential energy efficiency working at a solar company in San Diego.  Since that time he has been passionate about helping homeowners understand and reduce their monthly utility bills because He saw so many people getting solar installed without understanding why their bills were so high.  
Husak grew up in Sanger and saw a need to help his friends and neighbors with their home's comfort and energy efficiency.  He returned to Fresno in 2012 to start Balanced Comfort and has been helping customers with air conditioning, heating, and ductwork challenges ever since.

Our tankless water heater stopped working early on a Saturday morning. I sent an SOS on Yelp and Balanced Comfort Responded quickly. They were able to come within a few hours and get the problem solved quickly. The price was among the lowest offered as well. I highly recommend and will be using them in the future.

It took over half a year for Balanced Comfort to complete their terrible work. Never once did a supervisor or owner check on the workers' terrible work. I am extremely disappointed with their work and their can do no wrong manager/owner.

Very quick response time, especially being the weekend that I requested a quote. The staff who followed up were friendly and the gentleman who came out to service our a/c unit, Juan F., was super thorough about what was going on and what needed to be fixed, super nice and friendly as well. Incredible service overall and most importantly our a/c is up and running during this heat wave! Super satisfied! 10 out of 10. Would recommend to everyone!!

We are really glad that we took a chance on this company due to their great Yelp reviews, they were absolutely wonderful to work with. The balanced comfort rep was quickly responsive to work us into their schedule within 3 days. Every single one of their employees, from the customer service rep, storm, to the installers, Mario and ____ , Pedro, david, and the finance rep, jerrod, were so professional and kind- our experience was top notch from start to end. The installers were very respectful of our home, efficient with time and cleaned/wiped/vacuumed every area they were in. I also liked that the company sent tracking texts to us when they were on their way so we knew exactly when to expect them, their communication overall was superb. We had a rare complication with our newly installed system, but when we called to inquire they immediately scheduled us for David to come evaluate it within 5 hours, and when he determined that we would need a new system, a manager, Pedro, came and brought us a portable AC to make us more comfortable for the night. He ordered everything that same day and scheduled to come install an entire new system the next morning at 8am.

Their financial rep, Jerrod, was very clear when explaining all of our options for units with pros, cons and costs and later after the install he was efficient completing our transaction at a time that worked for us.

If you need an AC or HVAC work, I would highly recommend balanced comfort, they made a stressful situation completely easy and I could not speak more highly of their company.

Over-due review of this excellent company. We woke up to our water line going out to the street, leaking badly. City of Clovis let us know it was our responsibility to repair it and gave us the steps on how to do so. It was a complicated repair and needed professionals. The kind owners of Balanced Comfort helped us immediately (on a Saturday) and had some one come out within 90 minutes. Ricardo, the tech, was patient, knowledgable, thorough and worked so hard in the heat to help us. (We later found out it was his day off and he came in to help)  The pipe was giving us more problems than we were expecting and Ricardo did not give up. After a long day for Ricardo, our issue was fixed! We recommend Balanced Comfort for all your plumbing, HVAC needs. They really can do it all. The estimator who came to my house was informed and answered all my questions. He offered a very reasonable quote and then offered several additional discounts. He took the time to discuss all the insulation options and to make informed recommendations based on my concerns.

The crew arrived exactly on schedule and performed the work exactly as I expected. I couldn't be happier. I have recommended Balanced Comfort to friends, and that is something I simply don't do unless I'm sure that my recommendation is solid.

These guys were AMAZING- - My poor older mom had her AC go out in the same week she fell and broke her leg! Called these guys on a Friday morning - they were out that afternoon. Ended up the whole unit had to be replaced and during the week it took to get  all that done we had constant updates etc via text. Unit works great - will use them again!

Today our AC broke and  the heat is up in here in Fresno 103F got a qoute thru Yelp for service and many replied as soon as possible but only Balanced Comfort has the availability to fix my AC as soon as possible. David Lopez technician came earlier than the set appointment. He is very professional and reliable . I highly recommend Balanced Comfort Fresno. Cather and his team did an amazing job on installing new lights in kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom.  As well as installing new doors and new seal to preventing lost of heat or cold round crack.  I highly recommend their team!!

My mom, Ramona, and I contacted balanced comfort after many years of failed AC repairs. I called several other companies and none of them served out to our area. I spoke to them and they sent out a specialist that next day. Two days later, we had a specialist come by and give us quotes on different AC units, the day after they came to measure and then two days later they came out to install a brand new AC unit. This was all within a week!!!! It was so quick and so easy. The guys were amazing! They did such a good job, they were professional, they answered all our questions, and got the job done quickly. No mess was left behind, and they even took the time to explain how our new system works. Thank you Rubén, Carlos, David (aka pollo), Guillermo, and especially Mike! You guys are awesome! I know a lot of our neighbors already came by to ask about the services, but we will definitely be recommending you guys to everyone we know, moving forward!

Paid Balanced Comfort and Cooling to come to my house and diagnose my HVAC. After my HVAC was diagnosed, I was told my circuit board was the issue. The estimate for the fix was $811.45. My HVAC system is 2 years old so I mentioned that I wanted to check if it was under warranty before having him proceed with the work. The technician said it wouldn't be under warranty and that he had the part at the shop and could fix it right then and there. I told him no and found out that my HVAC was under warranty. When the other company came out to diagnose my HVAC, they said the circuit board was perfectly fine and that all that needed to be replaced was the gas connector which was a $100 fix. Feel like since I am a female, he was trying to scam me.

UPDATE: I received a phone call and an apology for what happened. I am hoping there was just a misunderstanding and that they really take care of their customers as other reviews show. I really appreciate the apology and the respect I received over the phone. Changed my review from 1 star to 4 stars in hopes of everyone else having a great experience with the company.

This company was fast to get back with a competitive quote, schedule an appointment online, and send a technician out the next morning.  My technician was polite and informative and made the necessary repairs.  When I ultimately had an issue with my bill they were very fast to address it.  I have tried 3 other HVAC companies and this is the one that has earned my trust.

Heater went out on Christmas Eve!  This was not ideal since one of our daughters is allergic to cold.  I made them aware of this and they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable until the parts have arrived.  They brought us temporary heaters and then even installed a temporary part so we can have a heater.  Almost three weeks later (by no fault of theirs, shipping delays were horrible) and our heater is fixed.  Not to mention WONDERFUL customer service from their front office.  I would give them a ten if this was an option.

I just finished a 3.5 day project to replace our heating and AC unit and ducting and had a flawless experience with the company from the sales and customer service reps through the team who installed. Jacob was the team lead and communicated in perfect fashion throughout. Eric, Audie and Josh were the other installers and were polite and hardworking throughout. I had a great experience with them all and felt very comfortable having them in the house for 3+ days. The system itself is a huge upgrade over what we had and night and day to the distribution we had before. I highly recommend them and have also used the company in the past for other services, always with the same level of quality.

We are coming on to over 100 degree days and this company charged us $600 and left us with no air conditioning. After they fixed our air conditioning and it stopped working, they came out again. They told us the first person missed the true problem and it would now cost us an additional $1,200 to have air conditioning. The owner of the home went to hospice and now is in home care, but left many animals that can not swelter in the house. This company didn't offer us any refund for their negligence. If we found out the true problem and it was fixed correctly, we could have afforded it or at least not threw money away on a fix that was worthless and made an informed decision. We can't even afford a swamp cooler now. It is so negligent and awful what this company did.

Our air conditioning unit crapped out on us when the daytime temperature was 105 deg F. Called Balanced Comfort at about 9:30 pm and was surprised to hear a live person at the other end, told him my problem and he said the next available technician is in a couple of days, I said  we need it sooner than that. The next day I received a phone call that a technician is on his way, his name is Thomas Gonzales, he is very professional and told us the problem, unfortunately the parts won't be available till after two months, but because of Mr. Gonzales' persistence they were able to get the parts in a couple of days. Mr. Gonzales installed the motor and went beyond his duty by cleaning the outside condenser and did a thorough test of our unit. Balanced Comfort is the best air conditioning company in town because of the people that work there and special mention to Mr. Thomas Gonzales.

Juan Flores was very professional, punctual and so kind. Bonus: he spoke Spanish, which my mom was grateful for! He came out for a diagnosis on our A/C. He explained what he found to me (with pictures he took!) and he explained it to my mom in Spanish. We hope to work with this company on a replacement A/C unit soon. I waited some time before posting this review so I could make sure I was as accurate as possible. The company was quick to respond to my inquiry and they got to my house the same day. All things that are great when an AC unit is broken in fresno during the summer. When they got to my house the rep was really friendly and knowledgeable (it seemed) shared a lot of information and talking with me which I welcome through the whole visit. At the end though I was told I had 2 options. Replace my unit in the attic or my whole system. I was told that if I only replaced the unit in my attic they would have to replace the unit in my back yard soon and the labor would be much higher. I was told that the estimate for everything was 14k. I thanked him for his time and dropped it. (I didn't have 14k in the budget for an AC unit. I looked elsewhere and found out that the information given was accurate for the most part with the exception that it could be fixed for less. My system has worked perfectly since then after I got more professionals to look into my situation. It still cost about 500. I wouldn't give the company such a bad review except the fact that the rep was manipulative and wanted to sell me something I didn't need for a lot of money. If I ever need AC service in the future I will not recommend this company because I was told this is your only option clearly it wasn't. If you deal with this business make sure to get multiple opinions if they want to do something big.

Pedro was an absolute pleasure to work with. He went above and beyond for my family and got things sorted out with my parents unit. He was very pleasant to work with. They were friendly and communicated well by sending a confirmation text and email for my service appointment, I received a text when my technician was on the way, and I received friendly, timely service from Jesus. He explained the price breakdown, and we spoke about a future replacement of my entire AC unit. He also offered me a regular maintenance program to keep my system maintained. They're either incompetent or crooks. I want to be VERY clear that the technician this company sent out was friendly and professional, but NOT qualified to work on a mini-split AC. He came, did some tests, troubleshot to the best of his ability, and said I had a broken thermistor. He told me the parts might be hard to find but I'd get a call on Monday (it was Friday when he came out). Monday came and went, I didn't hear back. I called Tuesday afternoon and they said they're still looking for the part. I finally got a TEXT, not a phone call, 10 DAYS after they first came out. 10 days with my AC acting up and they don't tell me anything! The text just said they couldn't get the part, and that's ALL it said. I asked what my options were. They sent a salesman out and he quoted me $15k for a new system, even though I found the part he said was broken for $140. Keep in mind this system is a Fujitsu system (they're supposed to be one of the best brands) and less than 4 years old.

I called another AC company and they sent a tech out. He found the condensation sensors were dirty, cleaned them, and it works perfectly now. Balanced Comfort almost cost me $15k for a job that didn't even require a part. Do NOT let this company into your home.

I hired Balanced Comfort Cooling, Heating and Plumbing to service my AC units. Jesus was the one who came by - he was polite, efficient, and knowledgeable. I had a lot of questions for him which he patiently answered during his visit. I appreciate his professionalism and how he did not talk down to me even though I asked so many basic questions. He even wore a shoe cover when he came inside, which I appreciated since we have light carpeting in our home. I just really appreciated Jesus for his service, professionalism, and how respectful he was of our home. I'll be having someone come out in late fall for a heating maintenance and I hope that person is as courteous and professional as Jesus. If you need HVAC service, I recommend this company!

NIGHTMARE! Avoid at all cost! Accounting department is the worst! I've never had to deal with sooo much issues. For over 1 year this company has either lost the payment or pocketed the money then reaches out to you 5 months after the payment has been made to only threaten you if you don't pay, they'll report it to the creditors. You want to know the story message me, I'll prove it with a nice email chain. Oh, Aaron, don't contact me asking how to make this better, ask your accounting team they can show you the email thread. Maybe have them work on their phone and email etiquette.

UPDATE:

2/6/2023:

1) If communication had been made between the solar company that they would be sending me a check, under my name and your staff was aware of this, why would I want to risk our established credit for $533? Typically, people who cannot afford, duck and dodge calls like these. We've answered the calls according to our work schedule and responded as much as we can.

2) If payment had NEVER been received? Why contact us in 6 months later requesting for the same payment? Why not be consistent? Why not call every week like a normal bill collector? Probably because payment has been received and someone had forgotten to close it out?

3) From the sounds of it, you were present on 12/30/2022 during the phone conversation between your staff, myself, and the solar company...right? They way she not only made the situation worse, but antagonized the situation was very professional.

4) Why do I have to keep telling the same situation to a new person who calls? I had requested for my email to be added to my account/profile on 12/30/2022 because no one seems to know what's happening.

5) I had to take time off work to specifically address this missing money based off of an issue two companies couldn't figure out, how epic.

We have a high PG&E AND we have solar, does that make sense to you? Everything started it fine but over the past several years, our bill kept getting bigger and bigger each year. Before things got too far out of control we decided to call Balanced Comfort (a friend referred us to them). It turns out our house is very inefficient and with a few minor changes, we have seen a staggering decrease on our true-up bill! Take it from me, you can't afford to not use this company!

A/C went out on Friday evening so I sent a quote request to a few companies on Saturday morning. Balanced Comfort was the first to respond and had the cheapest diagnostic fee. They immediately scheduled someone to come out to take a look at our 15 year old central air unit on Monday (today). Juan arrived on schedule at 1pm and let us know our motor was busted, so we needed a new motor for a full accurate diagnostic to be completed. He retrieved a new motor and replaced it within the hour, educated us on future maintenance, what to expect, etc. Extremely knowledgeable, helpful, overall great experience!! Also love that pictures of the diagnostic tests and unit details were emailed along with the invoice!

I recently had Balanced Comfort do a routine maintenance on my HVAC unit.

The good: The tech was very polite, wiped his shoes before entering the home every time, showed up on time, and worked reasonably quickly. He was very thorough in taking pictures of everything while he worked and showed me which items may cause issues in the future.

The meh: The tech was clearly trained to upsell. If your unit is more than 10 years old, they will do their best to basically scare you into replacing it (HVAC units can often last 30 years or more). In my case, my far motor was showing rust on it; the tech started by telling me that all of the oil had leaked out of it, however I know he was just guessing. It's a sealed bearing so there is no way for him to know it's out of oil. From there, he gave me a really high quote to replace the fan as well as all of the ducting and adding a UV air purifier. Then he gave me the quote without the ducting. And lastly, he gave me the quote of just replacing the fan motor. That's a very tricky sales tactic; starting with a high number and then working down to a lower one makes it seem like the bottom-line price is more reasonable. Then he proceeds to tell me that since my unit is old, he wouldn't want to sink too much money into it, and instead put that money toward an entirely new unit. It all seemed rather underhanded.

The bad: They decided to add me to their marketing e-mail list, and when I unsubscribed, they added me to a marketing e-mail list for one of their suppliers. That's just rude. I wouldn't be surprised if they also sold my mailing address to other marketers.

I used Balanced Comfort on my old unit for yearly cleaning and maintenance. I am a handy person but I'm no HVAC technician. I really like balanced Comfort because they always do a detailed inspection including pictures of faulty items connected to their volt meter ( so I know it's not a scam). Then I can easily get the parts and fix it myself.

My compressor finally blew and I was faced with the decision to repair the compressor on a 12 year old unit or replace it.

I got 2 other companies to come out and give estimates. They were both 20k plus, and one even talked poorly of balanced Comfort when I'd advised I'm waiting for other estimates to pull the trigger.

Balanced comfort came out and gave me 3 options. 1) replace the compressor and install a platform for around 6k. 2) new 3 ton unit  14 seer unit with platform for around 13k. 3) new 3 ton unit 16 seer with platform for  around 15k.

They advised they cover the unit if anything goes wrong within 10 years. Which 4 days after install it was not coming out to cold, gave them a call and they were out same day and had it fixed.

I have a very hard time trusting any type of maintenance professional. To many companies will lie straight to you face to get your money, but I feel like I can really trust this company and I would recommend them to anyone who needs work done.

Our main water line had to be replaced from street to house, shopped around and Balanced Comfort came back with most competitive price, they were able to schedule immediately and stayed late on a Friday to not only finish the job but address some other issues that came up to make sure we were all set for the weekend. Cant say enough good things abour Ricardo and Christian and the rest of their team on how professional they were, they went above and beyond. Will be using them from here on out and highly recommend.

My ac went out and I went with a friend's recommendation to call Balanced Comfort. Sent a yelp request and got an immediate response from Storm (on a Saturday!) Set up appt for tech to come out later same day. An even earlier spot opened up and Juan came to save the day! He replaced the part, tested everything, explained everything thoroughly and made no pressure recommendations. Service was great, communication was excellent! Total time from start to finish...including calling, scheduling, tech arriving, inspecting, replacing, repairing, inspecting again, chatting and driving off..FOUR HOURS!! WOW!!! and did I mention On. A. Saturday!!!! Very impressive! Two thumbs up, Definitely recommend!

I had a terrific experience! I came home late on a Friday night to a hot house and no AC. One Yelp message later and I had an appointment for 8am the next morning. Their service technician, David, arrived and promptly diagnosed the issue and repaired it. He was friendly, informative and even remembered to close the gate of my fence on his way out. As a dog owner, I appreciate the attention to detail. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I'd highly recommend them.
FYI: The $59 diagnostic promo here is not being honored. I was charged $99 for a diagnostic. They told me it would be $99 in the original Yelp message, so they were transparent about costs. It was just disappointing.

I contacted Balanced Comfort for a quote on repair work I needed via Yelp. At first, they appeared to be reputable and prompt with customer service. They asked for the needed information on the project and contacted me the next day. That's as balanced and comfortable as it was to attempt to do business with them. The following day a person who called me for more information attempted to give me a phone quote for the work which was astronomical (more than double what I expect to pay!). The phone call was uncomfortable as the person stammered a bit and was so unsure of the pricing, finally saying, We'll need to look at it first to give you the quote. I was expecting them to need to look at the A/C to begin with as that is what they had indicated & I assumed they were calling just to get a little more details before their in-person consultation. They said they would email me a quote for the project after their visit to the property but I never heard back.  If you are uncomfortable because your A/C isn't working, I can't suggested Balanced Comfort since they may or may not follow through with a quote on work needed, and the price they quote over the phone is 100% more than similar local licensed HVAC contractors.

I called and spoke with Jessica in the morning, and she got a tech out to me the same day by 2. His name was David. He was nice, respected social distance, he had a nice clean appearance, very knowledgeable and made sure I understood everything I needed to. They ended up waving my diagnostic fee. I signed up for the Winter/Summer service package. I will definitely be calling this company back. The new wrap on the trucks is what stood out in my mind to call them in the first place. :)

Well. Initially they were charming. So there's your one Star. My daughter and I experienced so much confusion with this company that we have actually begun to believe that the representatives we were speaking to may have been scammers and not part of the company. Unsure of what was going on I reached out to the company today  after a couple months of non professional, non reliable interaction.

Heres the short of it:
For two of the appointments scheduled, either Ruby or the men sent to our house decided to rearrange the times. The first time 4 men came an hour early to take  a report... 4 men to take a report? Really? And we were blamed for their rescheduling. The second time the men came a day late after we had called three times cancelling the appointment due to the non professional confusing nature of the interactions.
Each time someone  called Ruby blamed us for their surprise visits, saying that we had gotten the times mixed up. Ruby if you're reading this, we did not get the times mixed up and it is irresponsible , disrespectful and unprofessional to blame others for your own errors. Not to mention unacceptable. You need to be accountable for your actions. Nor do I believe that you did not receive the numerous voicemails we left for you.

Due to the fact that these people kept making and breaking promises regarding what they were going to accomplish, I decided not to answer the door when they came for their second surprise visit. From inside the house I observed that the men lingered around my home, speaking in Spanish , one calling out loudly, I don't know what they want! They made me  uncomfortable and if the company or whoever these men are pull another surprise visit like this  I will call the police.

In addition, after they got us to sign a paper after the first surprise visit, listing what our house required for weatherization , they told us that PGand E had to inspect our heater before they could go forward. PGAnd E did do this , filing their own report, telling me that they didn't know why they were called out. There was no problem with the heater.
Two men came back- this time two men on time ( surprise surprise) and  told me that they had to get me into a different program because they could not do all the things I signed for on their list unless a new heater was installed. Ruby informed us that it would take a couple months for it to be approved so we waited all summer.

Recently she called us back , letting us know that there would be no new heater and that they could only do simple weatherization. When we asked about the other things on the list she said that the men could come out and take new notes.

WHAT?? My question is, why the run around? Why tell us that you can install a new door, fix the windows, and put in new light fixtures if you're not going to do it?  Why take our personal information and keep sending more men out uninivited to inspect the house? Why did it take so long? Why were you so generous in your offerings and then ignore our numetous follow up calls?  
Why did Gavin appear so unmoved by all this strangeness when I contacted him online?
What. The heck. Is going on Balanced Comfort?

Are this Ruby and the men that kept coming to our house actually from your company??

Our air conditioner stopped working last night.  Called Balanced Comfort this morning and they sent a repairman out by 1:30pm.  He was able to fix our unit and again we have cool air.  Thank you I would highly recommend this company because of the fast service.  We had called to to one company and were told it would be a week before they could come (this was the company that install our unit), so happy we called Balanced Comfort.

Great honest company! Call to get my AC unit checked, the rep over the phone was extremely nice and helpful. She helped me sign up with their promotional anual plan. They came out the next day and fixed my AC unit and the following day came back for the annual recommended maintenance. Safe to say that my AC is like new, blowing cold air again as it once did and we are saving money on our energy bill. Thank you very much for all you guys do!

Very happy with my service. Danny came and was helpful and it was fast and easy to sign me up. And Albert and Juan replaced everything that needed to be. Best part of it is they were so happy and looked like they loved their job. They had finished and walked out and I told them I was having issues setting up my nest program and they came back inside to fix it. Really hope they see this because they did a great job!!!! We utilized the services of Balanced Comfort for a 2nd time today. This time was to install a new faucet in our kitchen. I again can not say enough good about this company. New service and another great technician.  Jesus was as professional as they come. He was on time, and he actually has a personality.
He was missing a part that connected our ice maker to the incoming waterline. He quickly went to their supply house for the part and now we're good to go.
What are the odds of getting two outstanding employees on different dates and jobs.

We had been 10 year plus customers of Allbritten and suddenly due to increasing rates and a repair person who tried to take us to the cleaners for unnecessary repairs, we fired Albritten and we were looking to establish a reliable replacement relationship.  Wow, did we ever find a winner, purely from good ratings from Yelp. They were quick to respond, follow-up, and reminders of our upcoming appointment were very professional, and our technician, Jose, was courteous, knowledgeable, and quick to help in resolving our heating problem. He is the kind of guy you wouldn't mind inviting over for dinner. We have found our new HVAC relationship and signed up for their semi-annual service contract.

Had an emergency air conditioning was not cooling the house down .Called on Saturday was able to get a service tec out to look at my air conditioning.Other places were closed and charged more for Saturday service .They actually charged less than a few other places to do a service call   during the week .Tec came out took pictures explaining exactly what needed to be done .Fixed the problem got air conditioning running in about an hour .Was a 104 degree day very  professional fast service .Company is open 7 days a week great service.

I booked an appointment for a quote for a leaky sink via Yelp. The morning of the appointment I got calls asking if I was willing to reschedule the appointment and I wanted to get our sink fixed asap so I told them I would rather not, then they told me they actually didn't have anyone who could come out. They did come out the next day and the gentleman who did was very nice and professional.. told me the sink would be an easy fix but quoted over $400 for just the sink. I felt like it was a pretty outrageous price for an easy fix, I ended up shopping around and found a great local company who fixed the sink for $160. I'm just glad I shopped around.

I have never written a review for any company before but I just had to do so in this case. I first called this company to do a simple P-Trap replacement and the guy that came out told me it would be $500. I asked why was the price so high for such a simple job and he told me that it wasn't him but whoever he was communicating with on his tablet setting the price. On top of that he didn't even come prepared to fix this seemingly simple job. He left  for about an hour to get more parts to finish the job. I paid the $500 plus about $170 more for the HVAC maintenance plan (the one that's advertised for $99 right now).
     When I made my first appointment for HVAC service I expressed my concerns about being overcharged before and was told that the technician that came out was no longer with the company. I was also told that someone would be contacting me to go over the details of my last service. I never received a call. Recently I had my second HVAC service and complained again about the poor service and was told that someone would be giving me a call; and again - nothing. This company has horrible customer service and I will never do business with them again; and you should not either. Even though that $99 price for HVAC service seems like a good deal I'm sure that's just to get you in so they can overcharge for everything else and not care one bit about treating you with the respect you deserve.

Awesome and fast! Juan is a true professional. Signed up for the maintenance program to avoid any future problems. I called Balanced Comfort just for a check up of our system. I was a bit scared because our unit is 15 years old and even though it still is working, thought there might be an issue. Low and behold.. it was only a capacitor! Everything cleaned, checked and replaced in under an hour!

This company was sent out to do some energy savings updates on our home. They changed out some doors & lighting and placed weatherstrip. They came when they were scheduled to and completed the work that needed to be done. The employees, Yeng H. and another whose name I can't remember were the nicest guys. They made our family feel comfortable while they worked in our home. You could see that they cared about their work and wanted to do a good job, they even cleaned up after themselves. Not only does everything they did work perfectly but it also looks great. You can tell a lot about a company by the type of people who work for them. We wouldn't hesitate to call on Balanced Comfort in the future.

Kather was great! On time and very professional and skilled.
Our appointment was at 12:30pm, which was over 105 degrees. Kathor and his partner still on time, changed our lights. They even went above and beyond, climbed to the roof and checked if both heater and AC worked. They advised us the issues with our AC and what to expect.

We are so happy that we had Kathor serviced our home, we love the newly installed Google Nest Thermostat. Definitely recommend them to anyone need needs his service.

I had this company come out to diagnose AC problem with no cold air coming out. Prompt and polite but problem was miss diagnosed which is why it's missing a star. Company was responsive to my request and refunded my service charge. Caitlin gets kudos from me for her handling of my concern. For management if you are reading this could i request a advanced leak detection service which is how problem was correctly diagnosed (it did take a couple of hours) Thank you!

These people came out immediately in the 100* heat when our air conditioner unit went out. The problem could not be fixed until a part was ordered and came in. They were kind enough to loan us a new portable air conditioner which really help us a lot. When the part came , they immediately came back to our house and worked all day on a holiday weekend until the job was done. Great company to work with. They came in and qualified me for replacement of all my light bulbs & fixtures. They even fixed my front door lock that had an issue with closing properly, sometimes I'd come home and the wind would push it open or I'd lightly touch it and it'd open because it was not clicking into place properly when locked..they even replaced my faucets to a better flow in each sink and my shower heads! These guys were awesome and super friendly. I'd highly recommend considering them for anyone's home.

During the month of August my 37 year old AC/Furnace died when it was 100+ degrees.  They were very responsive and able to replace my old unit with a new and correct unit for the size of my home.  Price was comparable to others (not the cheapest, but not the most expensive) but I chose them because they were responsive, easy to work with, and were able to get the job done sooner than the others.  Once the job started, they stayed until it was completed.  Cleaned up all construction debris and my AC is wonderful.  I highly recommend this business!

I can't say enough good things about this company.  My HVAC went out during the hottest week of the year and, at the same time, as my scheduled eye surgery.  They quickly set up portable units so my sister in law and I could be comfortable.  (She came from Monterey to help me recover and the heat was killing her!). They replaced my 31 year old unit with the latest in high efficiency operation in short order.  They were neat and clean during the construction and kept to the timetable given me.  The office was in constant communication with me and let me know who was coming and what I could expect.  I am recommending them highly.

I had an issue with my furnace running way too much. Contacted their team to check on the system. Thankfully I did. The tech came out and noticed that my furnace was cracked and leaked carbon monoxide into the attic. At this point I needed a new system as mine was 41 years old. They were organized & communicated well. Technician was on time for the appointments, seemed informative, respected our space by making sure to cover his shoes & ladder inside the home. The 1st maintenance appointment in 10 years lead to recommendations to replace a couple parts & do a chemical clean of the coils. Quotes seemed comparable to averages found on the web. I am so very grateful to Balanced Comfort for coming out today and taking care of the needs of my home. Yeng and Felipe were very professional and thorough workers. I was very impressed with their service level. They went the extra mile and were very respectful when entering and leaving my home. Although we are in COVID-19 situation, they were very safe and wore their masks the entire time that they worked around my home. Yeng was even very supportive of our pet being in the home since it was raining and he suggested a way for this to be done. Yeng went the extra mile and even offered energy saving power strips to help my home conserve energy and lessen our heating bill. He was also very awesome in explaining my homes energy use and did his very best to make sure I was comfortable and satisfied with their service. They called me. Pretending to be my a/c-heating maintenance and repair company.  The claimed to have done a repair on my a/c last year. All lies. ALL LIES. Is tRump and Georgia Santo lying becoming a normal business practice in the valley.  We have lying valley republicons and KMJ lying to us every day. Now the valley business's are lying. Be cautious of what they say. I believe they are scamming Valley residents.  This is my belief. My opinions are my own beliefs. Expressed in what is still a free America. Good communication and willing to work with you. Plumbing Pricing is good as well. The technician that came to fix my tub spout put did a good job. Joined their membership club and had an HVAC tech come out. He did tell me I needed a surge protector and a hard start on my 3 year old HVAC system which would of cost me around $1,000.  I almost agreed to it too until he asked if I also needed a UV light installed, which I already do. I had to have my original HVAC installer come back and confirm there was a UV light installed, which there was. That got me kind of concern as why the Balanced Comfort tech would ask to install something I already had which would of brought my simple free maintenance cost to a whoopin $2,000. I had to call a guy I knew from work outside of town who's been an HVAC tech for the states for 10 years to ask if I really needed the Surge Protector and Hard Start. He laughed and said NO! He told me Hard Start are only needed for older systems and mines is new. He also told me Fresno does not have severe thunderstorms and outages and the Surge protector was unnecessary. He also told me home insurance covers it, which I confirmed with my home insurance. Overall, Balanced Comfort was nice, respectful, and super responsive. I just wish they stopped trying to up sell unnecessary items/services and scare their customers with possible pricey repairs if the home owners really didn't need it.

Kather and Beta were awesome. They came out and replaced our two doors that were warped. They got the job done in a timely matter and the doors look amazing. I was very happy and impressed with my new doors. They were also able to put in a new thermostat. I've been having issues with it for quite some time now. Now I have a google nest installed and I'm loving it. They were attentive and answered all my questions. I was pleased with their service and would recommend them :)
