Be warned! Do not shop here. This company is a fraud and a joke. The owner does not care much about its customers and is very rude. I wasted almost two weeks and now have to seek a new company to repair my shower. I cannot believe this company has a license to operate. Dont be a victim!

Wow I just read a couple of the horrific reviews and that's probably why they get most of their clients through First American Home Warranty. Automatic clients without referrals. I too am one of the victims.

I had a pipe the cracked in my kids bedroom. Long story short, because this company not worth my time, they wanted to charge an extra $850 to fix the draining pipe...above my service fee with FAHW. Never has this happened before with my years with this home warranty.

Very friendly and helpful. Gave prices over the phone and was patient that we wanted to call around. Fair and reasonable and quick service. Had everything up and running again in half hour form complete back up of every drain. Plumbing nightmare was no problem! We will definitely call them again

After waiting for a few weeks due to complications with our home warranty company, ARK helped us in correcting the issues and getting us our new water heater as soon as possible. Danny came out on a Sunday to set it up and was professional and efficient.

I had an Emergency Shower Bathroom leak in my Rental in Lake Forest; needed a plumber close by in South County to act Fast & Efficiently and Ark Plumbing was Awesome!!! Plumber came out at 9Am sharp; tackled the shower & ended up starting and finishing the project that day. He was very detailed, explained all from start to finish & very professional. Very thankful and relieved that the issue was adhered to right away; Thanks Again.

ARK plumbing was phenomenal! My water heater decided to stop working and I WAS MISERABLE (I need my hot water!) ARK came in and replaced my hot water heater in no time at all. They were friendly and respectful during every moment they were working in my house. I definitely will be hiring them to do any work I need in the future!

My kitchen sink with clogged and backed up.  ARK plumbing responded with an estimate on yelp within 15 mins and said that they could make it out right away! Their quote came in much cheaper than the other plumbers in the area! After deciding to go with them and hanging up, Nick was out here within 20 minutes and got the job done in a professional and friendly matter. He was very knowledgeable for all the plumbing questions I had for him (first time homeowner over here). I'll definitely use them again!

The company does fine work but not reliable on the time they said they are coming. They gave us inaccurate information on what time they would arrive. Needs to improve their time management, Beware of this when making appointments.

Were referred to ARK through my home warranty. The plumber came out to fix my slow draining kitchen sink and bath tub. Plumber attempted to snake and was unable to, left them worse, informing us we couldn't use the shower or sink until someone else could come to fix it with the proper equipment. ARK didn't have the proper equipment so they say... I would have never let them in my home if I would have known they would leave my drains worse. Would not recommend. I'm left with a sink that isn't working that is leaving a foul odor in my home. And left my wall full of dirty water stains as well, barely cleaned.

I have used Ark Plumbing several times and their service is always excellent.  This includes the people who answer the phone and make appointments and call to let you know when the technicians will arrive,  to the plumbers themselves.

I am confident that they will diagnose the issue and fix it.

Every plumber I have met is professional, on-time, and just generally nice.
The prices are very reasonable.

I often recommend them.  Ark Plumbing will not disappoint you.

Speaking for my own experience but Ark Plumbing was able to fix our restrooms issues right away, they were able to come out same day to fix the issue. The plumber was pretty straight forward about the issue and got it taken care of within 15 minutes. I strongly recommend this company as they are professional and reliable.

Worst experiance with this plumber and rude and racist customer service. We had an issue with plumbing in our guest bathroom. We went through home warrenty and they sent out this plumber. The plumber who came over an hour late and did not do any work. He claimed that there was not enough description on the work order and that he could not do the work due to the lack of description. I was not home when this happened and my wife and her mom were the ones who talked to the plumber. I called the plumbing company the next day and explained what happened. The representative I spoke to said my wife and her mom were wrong and did not understand what the plumber was saying. She said the plumber assessed the problem and explained that they do not do the kind of work that we need done and to call home warranty to update the work order and send someone else. THE PLUMBER DID NOT DO THIS. All the plumber did was tell them there was not enough information on the work order and that he is not able to do the work. The representative said my wife is wrong and asked me IS ENGLISH YOUR WIFE'S SECOND LANGUAGE BECAUSE SHE CLEARLY DID NOT UNDERSTANF THE PLUMBER My wife and her mom are of Asian decent but have both have lived in America their entier life and English is their ONLY language. They also have no accent what so ever. So you have 1.) A plumber who is incompetent who possibly refused to do work because of my wife's ethnicity and 2.) You have a RACIST plumbing company who claims my wife can't understand English. I truly cannot believe this plumbing company is in business and will never use them ever again. There is no place for businesses who treat their customers this way. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AND IF YOUR HOME WARRANTY SENDS THEM, REFUSE TO USE THEM LIKE THEY REFUSED TO DO WORK FOR US.

ARK Plumbing has been my go to plumber and they never cease to amaze me. Elana, Heather, and Summer are just so wonderful to work with. 5 Stars for communication, scheduling, and getting the job completed in a timely manner. You can also depend on them during emergencies. I will not hesitate to recommend this company.

Wow....what a horrible experience.  This company is the most dishonest plumbing company.  Do not go with them.  The old lady that answers the phone is the worst.

Just had my water heater cracked from old age. Had my insurance cover the cost of the water heater but not the replacement of the lines.
ARK Plumbing sent out A technician (Andrew) to do the replacement. He was very thorough in explaining what he would be doing with the install and the parts he will be replacing. I was very happy with the work that was performed. If you need any plumbing work, I would recommend ARK Plumbing. Ask for Andrew. You will not be disappointed.

Just got service today for the toilet valve but called them back because the valve they replaced is kinda defective. It continuously filling water. The one who answered the phone is very rude. She lacked customer service. Will not recommend this to other.

This is the second time using ARK Plumbing through First American Home Warranty.   The first time they just came in and snaked our pipes and it fixed the problem.  I was pleased enough to specifically ask for ARK again this year.    (I had another plumber come out that was requisitioned to snake the pipe underneath the house and not only didn't do what was requested, but told my daughter that he wanted to get behind the washing machine, but would not pull the machine out - so he left and took the service call money.)

This time I got a phone call within an hour after ARK was assigned to the claim, and they had an opening within an hour.  Andrew was the technician that came and thoroughly diagnosed and solved the issue to my satisfaction, making sure that both appliances that had been  overflowing were working again.  He was very personable and efficient.  He cleaned up the area where he was working - even though he didn't create the mess.  I would highly recommend and will seek ARK out again when we have issues.

Our toilet was not flushing and we contacted our home warranty company, who assigned ARK Plumbing.  The plumber showed up on time, but was less than willing to actually diagnose the problem.  After a cursory review, he suggested that the we gain access to a cleanout and then they could possibly snake the line.  Alternative was to pull the toliet, which he did not want to do.  Had he simply checked the shower, he would have noticed it was backing up as well (we did not yet know this).  Also, a cleanout was readily accessible under the bathroom sink.  Plumber left saying he would write up a fix.  Received a call from the home warranty company who said the plumber wanted camera the line, which would not be covered.

We submitted a second request and asked for a different company to respond.  They came out, diagnosed quickly and cleared the blockage with no additional cost.  Needless to say, we are staying away from ARK Plumbing.

Andrew at ARK is the best!! Knowledgeable, helpful and reliable and reasonable. He was here right  on time and  diagnosed and fixed our issue immediately. Super happy with Andrew and ARK and will use them from now on.

Worse place ever , been to my home a third time to fix a leak , receptionist told us I don't know what to tell you, we say to customers 'don't buy Hansgrohe' because it takes a long time to order the parts. That is not helpful when we have already installed a Hansgrohe fixture. Receptionist was curt. We have had the leak for three months. Finally they fix it, then the rubber piece is missing between the handle and the trim piece , so water can get in . The plumbers that come over are nice guys, but mostly they try to be fast and overlook an issue that they have to come back for.

I should have checked yelp reviews first.  What was reported by others is so true!! Same thing just happened to me. First American assigned ARK Plumbing after I reported water leak in the kitchen/dining room.  They were willing to come out on a Sunday.  Little did I know they are a SCAM company and they just come out and then report that the homeowner needs to do asbestos testing before they can touch any wall in the house.  Asbestos testing can run hundreds of dollars and can take weeks. What people in their right mind would wait to get asbestos tested unnecessarily while there is an active water leak.  I tried to explain to both ARK Plumbing and First American that the house was purchased a year ago and went through inspections and had plumbing work and tons of remodels in the kitchen done and no one has ever questioned about asbestos.  This company is a JOKE!  Do not let First American assign this company to you!  They will deny your claim if you won't test for asbestos.  I bet all the positive reviewed posted for this plumber are scam posts!!

First American home warranty assigned this contractor to fix sink plumbing issues in one of the bathrooms.  Plumber came out on a Saturday and said that pipes need to be re-done.  Had to make an appointment during the week so I chose 8am to 9am on a Thursday.  I was told that this would be the first stop on the plumber's schedule so I planned on going into work a little late.  After 9am passed, without any text or call from the plumber, I called their dispatch to see what was going on.  I was told that the plumbers get DISPATCHED at 8am then have to get the parts needed for the repair.  When the plumber finally arrived at 9:40am I got a call from the dispatch asking if I had an Asbestos report because they need to cut into the wall.  WHY IN THE HELL ARE THEY TELLING ME THIS NOW???  The plumber told the dispatch the he has to cut into the wall and per California law there must be a report.  I got a half-assed my bad apology and was advised to contact an abatement company.  In the 3 weeks after the initial inspection I could have had testing done IF I HAD KNOWN ABOUT IT!!!  Now my repair will be delayed even further and I have to miss more time at work.  If there were negative stars I would definitely give A R K plumbing the max.

We had a plumber visit our home on Saturday because we consistently have brown water from all fixtures (unsafe and unsanitary!), and the pipes make a banging sound when we run the kitchen faucet. He confirmed the pipes and fixtures are original and need to be replaced, as well as the water heater needs to be replaced. However, we were just notified that ARK Plumbing then told our Property Management company there were no issues and no need for service. I called ARK directly and Alana would not speak with me about this.

As a follow up, Alana called to let me know she saw this review. She said her lawyers will contact me. She also said she couldn't care less and good luck with your brown water. Really?

RUN AWAY! This place is a joke. Derek and his young apprentice AJ from ARK Plumbing came to my house after I called First American Home Warranty regarding an issue I was having with my tankless water heater which was producing a hot water sandwich. Derek clearly didn't have experience with tankless water heaters and he ended up breaking the handle to the hot water pipe! I understand accidents happen but then HE REFUSED to fix the handle!! Where I once had intermittent hot water I now had absolutely NO hot water as he decided to cap the pipe so it wouldn't leak after he broke the handle. While Derek was at my house, he insulted me and was cursing non-stop. Overall he was incredibly rude, unprofessional, and lacking in skills. For two and a half days I was calling the warranty company to get them to send another plumber out to fix the handle Derek broke but the warranty company refused. During this time the apartment had absolutely no hot water. In today's COVID-filled world, sanitation is a must and hot water is critical to cleanliness for body parts, clothing, and the like. I ended up paying out of pocket for another knowledgeable and experienced plumber to come and fix the issue these guys caused. DO NOT USE THIS PLUMBER if you have any say in the matter!

If I could give less than 1 I would. Rude, unreliable, disorganized. They are a First American Warranty contractor for a reason. They function as a less than 1 star company. Insist First American refer you to a better plumbing company.

I was connected to ARK through First Home Warranty ( which I can't recommend) and I admit I was not expecting a good experience. Elana, Heather and Summer, who run the office, were a tremendous help to me. They made sure I was receiving the proper tankless water heater replacement, monitored when it would arrive, set up an appointment as soon as possible, responded to every question and request I had. They dealt with the warranty company so I didn't have to do it. Thank you for your service and help

HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!! Do not use!!! TOTAL RIP OFF with rude customer service. I had a claim through ! 1st American Home Warranty and ARK Plumbimg told me that my problem was a cartridge for my tub/shower diverter valve and the part, if covered, was $110. It took them over a week to submit the claim telling me that they had over 150 clients and they would get to reporting it when they could! I contacted the warranty company after they finally submiited their report and they reported something totally different!!! They reported that I needed a new valve and there would be modifications (not covered under insurance) that would cost $650!!!!  

Since I was treated so rudely, it took so long for them to file the claim, and they tried to rip me off with add'l repairs for $650 that were not needed, I told the insurance Company that I would rather take the buyout option and have the repair done with a reputable company of my choice.

We got service by this plumbing company. The person who was send was ok but we have to call and requested him to comeback to fix the re occurring problem.
OMG the person who answered my call was so! Rude... she said she is the owner. She told me its not urgent.. just let the water overflow and reimburse to the water district what ever adds up to our bill. I told her no and besides we are in California we need to conserve water.
I hope the owner of ARK Plumbing will value the costumer right and understanding the meaning of quality service.

They were supposed to arrive today between 2-3pm and still a no show and no call. I kept trying to call their business phone but it kept saying All circuits are busy. I've noticed many other complaints here on Yelp so obviously there is a pattern and they aren't open to correction. When I finally got through the female on the phone immediately questioned my Yelp review, as if her business and livelihood depended on it, and rudely ordered me to go find another plumber. And yet I find it interesting that they only picked up the phone AFTER my Yelp review was left?

DIDN'T EVEN MAKE IT HERE:
Called at 7am and scheduled an appointment at 9-10 am to snake a shower drain. 9:48am No one showed, so I called them; they advised their techs receive the full hour window.
So I waited until 10:23 am. Still No show or communication that techs are running late or on their way... I called to cancel my appointment and called another plumber for an appointment who promised they would show up. Great business model..

The worst company in this area I have ever worked with. The customer service, the lady, lied about not ever done any work at our place when we called them to come back because the pipe they fixed was still leaking. After I sorted that part out, the lady denied the one year free work warranty. I had to show her the receipt for that, and she changed her words again. Then, the workers came back for like four times, and the pipe is still leaking. The lady said that she can't keep sending her guys out for free. (Excuse me?) she demanded for more money. Also, not to mention that they cancel the scheduled appointment to come fix it last minute. It was time that my family decided that the money (hundreds or dollars) will just go to waste and find a new company to fix it. The new plumber (different company) fixed the issue, and the pipe never leak again. It turns out that the workers were just unable and acquire no skill to fix the pipe. We have waste so much time, and money on ark plumbing.

This is the longest review I have ever written in my yelp life in hopes to help other innocent people like me. Don't use this company!

Had an issue with our kitchen sink / garbage disposal. It was very apparent that the sink was clogged in some way and the only way to get the water to go down was to turn on the garbage disposal everytime I ran water. On top of that the garbage disposal started leaking. I contacted Ark Sunday night and they came first thing the next day. I assumed it was going to be a process and take a few hours but they completely fixed it in less than an hour and haven't had an issue since! Very pleased with their service.

I totally can relate to all the HORRIBLE reviews this company has! I was so leery having to use them through my Home warranty contract in the first place after reading all the negative experiences customers had with them. But because I was having an immediate issue with getting a leak in my children's bathtub resolved I went ahead and scheduled with them. It took almost a week for the technician to come out. His personality sucked, and had that attitude that he hated his job. I explained the issue, he looks in the access door and moves a pipe around. Then says well that broke right off so don't use the tub! It would've probably broke anyway. Then tells me they'll have to cut the ceiling away from the bathroom below to access it. I asked him how long before I would hear back and he says he would submit the claim before he even leaves the driveway. So this is a Tuesday, Friday comes around and I call them. They say they haven't heard back from the warranty company but will let me know when they do. So I call the warranty company. They said they barely got the claim 20 minutes prior! Probably right after they hung up the phone with me. So the warranty company reviews it and says there is a $500 out of pocket for expanding and rerouting a pipe and that's not covered under the contract. So I call ARK plumbing and ask what everything is that they are doing. And I also asked about the pipe the tech broke. And then I asked if this included the initial service fee. I was told that she would reach out to the tech and get back to me. Nobody ever called. So I call back after the weekend and the lady on the phone is rude when I told her that nobody ever called me back. She says what do you need to know? So I ask everything again. She puts me on hold and then comes back and says that yes everything is included. She said that the pipe and drain had to be expanded and rerouted. At this point, I need the bathtub back working for my kids. So I schedule. The technician comes out and does the job in half the time as quoted without having to cut into the ceiling and working from below, which the initial guy said would have to be done and would be a nightmare. The access door is literally 18 square so it's not like he would have had much room to go in and do some crazy rerouting of the pipe, so I really think they were just trying to make it sound like a bigger job than it was. He also said there was a loose gasket that he tightened. That technician was very nice but the rest of the company really lack customer service. Now, months later I get an invoice from the warranty company saying that I owe the service fee because the plumbers did not collect it. And I called ARK right away and the lady says there was no way that I was told that the fee was included. I asked twice! I was told they would find out about all the questions I had and have someone call me back, which they never did. They dropped the ball and didn't even submit the claim when the tech said he would do it before he left my driveway! So obviously their word doesn't mean much. And when I also brought up the fact that her technician broke the pipe and I had to pay to have it fixed, she just shrugged me off that it probably was old. And I also told her that not only did I have to pay all this money out of pocket for an issue her tech probably created or potentially made worse, but the ceiling didn't need to be cut and the job ended up being a lot less invasive than previously thought. But I still paid the same amount even though the job was less complicated and didn't complain then. But really I felt I should have. Why not pass the savings of the costs of labor on to your customers? Because they lack customer service. So when I mentioned this on the phone right now she laughs and says it's a set price for a job even if it's less work. Sure it makes sense, but to me, not having to cut into a ceiling and getting the job done in half the time would be a bit of a different story. And she insists that I was never told that the service fee was included. When I spoke to them back in April, the girl was clearly all over the place because she didn't know what was going on, told me I'd get a call back, and I never did and then still didn't have any answers when I had to follow up!
Now I have to pay out even MORE money because it's not their protocol to collect the service fee (this is what she said, even though I was told differently and the warranty company also said I could pay it with them because I didn't have a credit card on me when initially filing the claim). I didn't renew my contract with First American Home warranty company based solely on my experience with ARK Plumbing. If they would be the only company able to service my plumbing issues than it totally wouldn't be worth it for me!

Awful company. Total rip off. Do not use. They don't leave messages or give updates upon arrival.
After two weeks they show up and the technician states he needed to put claim. Mind you technician was nice and friendly. Never gave me a report after the sink was seen, never had me sign anything. Just stated needed to replace something and would put in a claim. So I trusted that.

When I called to get an update front desk person of ARK states the report states everything in my sink was working fine. Insane right?!

Couple things: my sink drain is broken. I never received any report after I saw the technician and never signed anything. Just trusted his word of putting in a claim to fix the sink.

Whoever answered the phone is rude. Hung up on me when I asked for her name and the technician name.

This company is a joke. Unprofessional and the technician comes in for two minutes and didn't fix anything.

I just had work done today. Originally I only asked to have a replacement Garbage Disposal installed. Unknowingly did the Technician realize that I had purchased a replacement kitchen faucet to be replaced as well.
Derrick (sp) started some of the work, and luckily being flexible - returned in a few hours to start a challenge in doing magic to install both the Disposal and faucet. The original owner of this home did a lot of short cut work and Derrick had to improvise to get everything working in order. I am writing the short story if one could imagine.
Now I know what the letters ARK stand for as well.
A, affordable - YES!  R, reliable - I truly think so. K, knowledgeable - these people seem to take their Kaopectate..They have their stuff together...
I would recommend them to anyone needing plumbing work.
Knowing that I will have future work to be done, ARK is now in my permanent contact list!

I'd recommend this company highly as we used them through our home warranty company, so they were assigned to us, and it worked out that we were completely satisfied.

What I liked the most was the communication from the office staff.  They admittedly had a situation arise that did effect our service, but they came clean and rectified the situation immediately.  We were overall so impressed with the final outcome of the job.  I would call them again if I had a plumbing problem.

Let me start off by saying Ark Plumbing is awesome! The way I came across them was they were working on my neighbor's house.  I walked up to them and asked them for a card and they said if I call the office they might be able to help me out with my Problem.  I called the office and  They said they would send him over soon as they were done at my neighbor's.  Sure enough 30 minutes later a gentleman by the name of Bill came by.  I wasn't getting cold water pressure on my faucet He came in fixed the problem within 15 minutes.  Can't say thank you enough Bill!  If I ever have any future plumbing problems I will  Definitely be calling Ark plumbing again.

Absolute garbage company. Been fighting with my home warranty company for months to mark their service as not completed (yes, it's First American Home Warranty). They will not call ahead when they are on the way, so plan on staying home and they pack as many service calls into a single day as they can. I ended up just paying out of pocket to get a plumber to come fix the water heater since the pilot light was out for 6 days and we were at our wits end. Their customer service is 0/5, no question in my mind. I can't imagine they would still be in business if not for FAHW sending their customers here.
I ended up troubleshooting the problem myself, having the manufacturer send me a new piezo igniter assembly, and having someone just come and install it.

Andrew came and saved the day! He fixed my kitchen sink and went above and beyond fixing my water pressure and temperature in my bathroom. This was a problem that I had been living with for 18 months when another plumber told me there was nothing that could be done to fix it! Thank you so much Andrew! Wish I would have called sooner!

The technician arrived two hours late, was not knowledgeable, started tearing down and damaging our walls without any inkling as to what the diagnosis of our water leak may be and was extremely rude. I tried to explain the situation to the supervisor but the company culture overall is extremely unprofessional. The supervisor lady was condescending, rude, unprofessional and untruthful.

ARK is totally awesome!  I've used their services 4 times and every time they came either the same day or the next.  A few days ago my hot water heater went out.  I called them late in the afternoon and one of their guys came over and confirmed I needed a new heater.  The next morning they were here nice and early to install the new heater.  Their prices are the best and the guys who work there are super.  I'm sooooo happy to have found them.

What a wonderful experience!  We had a water heater issue and I didn't know where to start.
I googled several places and it came down to the first one that answered the phone on a weekend.
I am sorry I don't recall the women's name but let me tell you this women spent so much time on the phone with me and my husband literally trying to trouble-shoot the problem to save us money!
Her professionalism, kindness and patience, as well as her concern for our welfare was exceptional.
I believe this is a family-owned business and I thought they were remarkable and so helpful.
The promptness of their response and their ability to get everything fixed for a reasonable price was amazing.

I am trying to calm myself from the terrible experience I had with this company so far. and they haven't even serviced yet. Called yesterday and easily made appt. 9-10a, cool, I know the deal with contractors., never on time, okie dokie, I'm patient and kind. My one year old is in a terrible state, I rushed home from dropping of my toddler at school, and then waited. Baby needed to sleep, his crib is in the room that needed fixing and so I kept him up. It's almost 10 and no word. I walk the baby around the front complex in the stroller. I receive a call after ten and start rushing back to the house. My partner said they were there and I said tell them Ill be right there. I get there and nobody. its 10:08. I called dispatch and this is the fun part. She proceeded to tell me that my partner said no one was home, no one answered the door, they called everyone on the lease list (me last, even thought I made the appt.) and she said sorry, they left, and it's our fault for not being home. I said, but you showed up late, she said for a 9-10 appt, 10ish isn't late. She then proceeded to talk over me, start raising her voice, and cutting me off, even though I was telling her that calmly that that isn't ok to show up last minute and not wait a sec when we also have valuable time and lives. She then lied to me about all the things my partner had in fact told her, she will be right there, hold on a sec, please don't leave! she told me, had he said those things, she would have had him stay and they aren't mind readers. My partner told me that she hung up on him twice and was also atrocious to him as well while he was talking, same behavior, raising voice, blaming, hanging up, rude words, told him that they were out of there and they would not wait a sec. This lady was out of control. I am a social worker, and I get drug through the mud by people ten times worse because we aren't helping them in their opinion, we are in there way, and I WOULD NEVER TREAT  PEOPLE THIS WAY. Take responsibility for your own actions and treat people with respect. But like most businesses, they just wanted our money, and she said I could call to reschedule after they charged us a no show fee first. Oh, so that's what you wanted, my money for no work, because I was outside for a minute trying to calm my baby down after I kept him up for you guys to do your work in the room. awesome. I hope this business closes and she has a lot of issues that result in her seeing that she needs to change her life around. I get service work is hard and people undervalue your time, but I wasn't one of those people, I'm just a thinly spread woman trying to meet everyone's needs too in my day, and you really need to have more compassion in your heart for people and how you talk to them. I'm sure your swiss cheese house of lies feels safe, but it isn't, and it will fall down, no matter how many times you try to fill the holes people poke in your lies and hard heart. People aren't being rude and undervaluing your time because we aren't glued to our phones, we do have lives outside of waiting for plumbers no matter how much we want to be polite and on call, we are wiping butts and tears and putting out our own fires by the moment. I wish we could charge you guys a fee for every time you didn't fulfill your promises to customers.

Under home warranty contract this company was sent out to repair hot water heater after 14 days of waiting for First American Home Warranty to assign the subcontract. (They were given the service call order on January 5th - they came out two days later)
Here for about 5 minutes, stated a part would need to be ordered. No time frame, no communication, no explanation of what even was wrong.  I called the office 1st thing this morning only to be told a report first would need to be submitted to First American Home Warranty once approved the part will be ORDERED and then when it comes in they will set up an appointment THEN to come back and repair it; which could be another 3-5 days.
After going back and forth with home warranty and sub contractor, Alana did take the time to explain that they have no control as they are waiting on the warranty company to approve the repairs. I do appreciate that she answered some of my questions.
Ok, I am somewhat reasonable, however
I have already been without hot water for 15 days, no sense of urgency on their part or the warranty company, thus the reason for this review. They are getting paid for a job a service, some sense of urgency should be of concern, instead of it just being another number, another job in which they will get paid. They choose to be a sub contractor with the warranty company, they should take responsibility in pushing the process through based on the circumstances. Instead they choose to blame the warranty company, and in the end the customer loses, as they point fingers at each other. Neither company is solution driven.

I can only speak for my own experience. I was able to call and book someone to come the next day. The receptionist was friendly and responsive.

Derek was the plumber who came to our home. He was very friendly and easy to talk to. He mentioned asbestos testing, however, because of where the leak was, he was able to open just a small section without testing it. We were then able to identify that it was a pinhole leak and NOT a slab leak, and therefore we didn't need to do the asbestos testing. (To comment on other reviews about the testing- the testing is a California law, not a plumbing company's requirement... if you want to avoid this test, just hire another vendor to open the walls up, thennn have the plumber come back for the pipe repairs. The plumbing company CAN work on the pipes if the wall has been already opened up).

Back to my experience- Derek fixed the pinhole and was on his way! Again, he was very nice and quick to repair etc.

We also went through our home warranty and I was very nervous based on the reviews here... I actually fought with the warranty people to use another company, but had no choice. I only mention that because I was highly pleased with the service over all. I think the lesson is to take each situation as it comes...

Not a truthful plumbing company. Completely dishonest. Mark my words, stay far away and look for a better service.

Discovered a leak in a pipe in the wall between my kitchen pantry and powder room on a Saturday morning. Called my home warranty to file the claim and was told I'd receive a response within 48 hours and to call ARK directly if I didn't get a call back. Early Monday morning I noticed water starting to seep up from the tile in my kitchen so I called ARK right away and they scheduled a plumber to come out Tuesday between 12-1. Plumber showed up just after 2, (which was not a big deal - past experiences with plumbing issues, unless you're the first appointment of the day, the time window can get pushed out several hours). Plumber was very courteous and professional and got straight to work on the pipe. He repaired the pipe, cleaned up the mess, explained what had happened and what he did to fix the problem and was out the door within an hour. Overall great experience! Home warranty definitely slows the process down because of what they approve and decide what services they are willing to pay for - like weekend emergency calls. Had I not gone through home warranty, ARK would have come out the day I found the leak.

I had a good experience with them. The guy who came to fix the sink did a very good job. Even when making the appointment, they were flexible and very efficient.

Quality work and fantastic service.  Arrived on time and verified the plumbing problem was resolved.  Courteous and prompt customer service and quick scheduling.  I would definitely recommend their services.

This is the most ridiculous company you will ever work with.  We had a leak on the weekend and the insurance sent them out as an emergency. Their plumber assumed it was the toilet ring that was leaking and just changed that and left without pinpointing the problem.  Well it was the supply line (my husband found it by cutting the drywall) and it leaked the whole weekend after they took care of the problem supposedly.  I called Monday morning to let them know and Elana was rude as hell and said you can get someone else to service the account. She said I can't get anyone out today even though it was their mistake and their plumbers incompetence they couldn't find the leak in the first place.   As I can see from the below reviews, other people have also complained about Elana being rude and not knowing how to speak to customers. Beware of his company.  I have filed a claim with the insurance to let them know what a disaster this company is.

ARK was assigned through my home warranty (First American).  As others have also posted, I was advised I needed $400 worth of modifications which the warranty company doesn't cover. Had three other vendors come out and they all said it's a standard install and they have no idea why I'd be getting charged extra.
When contacting first American for cash out option to use my own contractor, I was advised they would only pay me $516 which is their cost for the water heater and also includes what they would pay ARK for the install.
Just my opinion but it now seems to make sense...seems like ARK is trying to get extra from me under modifications because they aren't getting a reasonable amount from First American.

From the receptionist to their plumbers. They never disappointed us. They are very professional, reliable, on time, responsive, they take pride to their work,  they are honest and very responsible.

PETER and ALEXIS came to our house on Feb 5th, they fixed all of the issues we have, they did the best jobs they could. I can see how hard they try, they take time looking into each individual issues we have and resolved all the problems beautifully and professionally.

One of our issues is the faucet in our kitchen needs to be replaced, they ordered the part and by today Feb 15th Mr, BILL come back to replace it as  promise. Mr, Bill took almost 30 minutes to replace our kitchen faucets, he brought all of his tools with him, replaced it and cleaned up everything back to normal.. just like that! Wow!

First American Home Warranty (FAHW) referred my request to ARK Plumbing, who re-scheduled once, and then simply didn't show up. I don't think this business is honest. I am contacting FAHW to leave a complaint, and select another plumber. Bye.

I had a water heater that was rusty and needed to be changed. I was lucky to have been assigned to ARK Plumbing by my home warranty company cuz these guys were very quick, responsive and thorough and they kept calling my warranty company to expedite the delivery of the new water heater and within a few minutes of receiving it they called me and scheduled an appointment for installation on the same day!
ANDREW showed up right on time with a big smile and removed my old water heater and put in the nee one!

My main line was clogged. Art came to my home in 20 minutes. He did a very good job and solved the problem in 30 minuets.

Called for running, noisy toilet and water spot coming up through carpet. Good for the basic plumbing but not a trouble shooter. Definitely saw small meter moving without activity in house. Promised to pressure check; but, instead chose to blame dog. It's not the dog. Disappointed, will call another and have to pay another house call. I specifically asked receptionist if they did that kind of plumbing. She had been emphatic as to yes I had called the right place.

We had just moved into our house and had a plumbing issue with our kitchen sink. Our homeowners warranty insurance hired Ark plumbing to handle the repairs. They were very quick to come out and fix part of the problem. Our other problem was needing a new garbage disposal. They ordered one right away and in less than a week came back to install. Our kitchen sink, and garbage disposal is working great! Thank you for all your hard work ARK Plumbing.

After writing a very detailed review regarding the bad experience i had with this company- I decided to remove the details after seeing they allegedly threatened someone else who left a bad review with a lawsuit (see the dirty toilet water review below). No way they can win a lawsuit when there is freedom of speech, but i'd rather avoid the headache of dealing with these people again.

ARK is fast, affordable, friendly and knowledgeable. As a property manager I need plumbing services all the time at all hours. ARK is always available and always does a great job. They respond quickly and do great work. If you need a plumber, call ARK.

Wow! Great service from the start. I contacted this company based off of a referal, and even though it was Sunday they treated me like a guest of there's immediately. I was able to get service on my garbage disposal the next day, and I thought that was cool. Tech came out was honest and trustworthy. Highly recommend and will continue to use this company for future plumbing jobs! Thank you ARK!!

Would not recommend, just simply needed my kitchen sink unclogged. After rescheduling our  first appointment, their plumber showed up late to the second one. He tried to snake under the sink but was unable to unclog. Next access point would be in our carport, other plumbers have successfully used this access point to unclog before. They just wanted to upsell and install a new access point to make more $$. Honestly, I would not have chosen them, but that's who my warranty company sent. Total waste of  a service call fee and 1 weeks time and the sink is still clogged.

AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL!!!!!!!! ARK Plumbing is awful. When the plumber arrived he asked what the issue was. I told him that we had water leaking into the garage. I told him that I think it came from the tub, and that we hadn't used the tub since then, just in case. He looked up said that the overflow valve connection looked old and it needed to be replaced and then he started to leave. After 3 minutes, no troubleshooting, he tried to leave. I asked him if wanted to see the drain or the tub or do any testing? He frowned and said ok. He came upstairs, turned on the tub and splashed some water towards the overflow valve and then asked if I had a screwdriver because he wanted to check the overflow valve. I went and got one. He tried to tighten the valve. He then walked back down to the garage. He said the pipes were fine because no water was leaking. I asked how he could be sure and offered my ladder so that he actually get a close look at the pipes. He said that the didn't need to look at the pipes, he was sure that it was the seal between the overflow valve and the tub. He said he tightened the overflow valve and that we would be ok in the short term and that the would order a new seal and that someone would be back out to install it.

He was at my house maybe 15 minutes. He tried to leave after 3 minutes. I had to convince him to walk upstairs and look at the tub. His test was to splash water towards the overflow valve. He had to borrow my screwdriver. He didn't want to climb the ladder to look at the pipes. He was sure it was the seal. He told me that he would order one and that someone would come out to install it. I was very unimpressed with his level of customer service. If I gave his customer service a grade, I would give an F. He showed no interest in solving the problem, he avoided answering my questions, and his only goal was to leave as soon as possible.

After I hadn't heard anything for several days, I called ARK Plumbing. I left a message. No response, I called again a few days later and left another message. I called a third time and someone answered. I explained the situation to the woman that answered the phone, she said that the file stated that a seal was not needed and that only the valve needed to be tightened. I explained that the plumber onsite told me something different. She puts me on hold for a while and comes back and states that she just talked to the plumber and that he never recommended a new seal. I explained to her that the plumber told me something different and that he displayed very poor customer service while at my house. The lady on phone then laughed at me and said that I wasn't getting a new seal and that the valve only needed to be tightened.

This is a horrible plumber DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

Unreal.  Went above and beyond with us as far as customer service.  Held my hand throughout our whole process moving into a new home and having an emergency.   They were fast, got to the problem quickly, and we're moving on in less than 24 hours with some answers.  This company is awesome and will use again for all of my plumbing needs.

First American Home warranty send this Horror to my house to fix a lick on a water heater. March 9 2022 , said it can not be fixed and will replace as Home Warranty should! . Water Heater is still under manufacturer warranty all they had to do was to pick a new one paid , ready in stock from any Home Depot. Said they have ordered parts and are waiting for it! Two weeks later I called again they said yap we have your new Water Heater but $500 for Modifications or we will not bring it over, now it seems to be Hostage water heater, Home warranty said well we know but we are in El Salvador and we will check in to it! after weeks of water lick now the walls are molded too. They never had ordered anything from Manufacturer but had called the company of March 25 2022 to let them know they will replace the old one ... So I guess they thought they would get money from Manufacturer too according to First American Supervisor Christopher A R K Plumbing did not tell them the unit was under Manufacturer warranty! I was asked to get second opinion but they would not get second opinion because they trust the A R K as thier trusted contractor! I did ask 3 different plumbers that could not see any modification needed it is a Water Heater.... one said the only thing that could be in need of change is the water line which is $10 if they want to really charge for it $20. A R K never itemized or gave reason for $500 just because it is thier fee pay or go fly Kit. After days of run around they called today to schedule for monday 4/18/2022 at 11 am and only get $500 nothing more! I am sick , stock at home with out water heater with two kids in the house ,so I agreed to pay .... Said I have to give them my credit card, I told them I will pay cash, the owner whom I did not get her name as she was very nasty and rude said I was playing games and go deal with Home warranty and hung up on me. I see all the reviews I have first hand experience, It was not my choice , was sent by First American Home warranty which had assured me when I was buying the warranty and told the Agent Christian I had bad experience with American Home shield plumber that charged us $220 to put a earthquake band around the water heater which is normally $5 that this kind of thing did not happen with First American! I have contacted Attorney today and last minute find someone that is on his way to fix it should be done by tomorrow.  Do not hire them for anything if home warranty forced them on you refuse them from get go. $85 service fee Home warranty said my only option is to take $55 buy back offer from them . My first claim after paying for Home warranty for about 2 years. 3 year old Rheem water heater under warranty for 3 more years or maybe even longer.

Staying at a friends house and the kitchen sink stoppped up worked on it for a day. Called Ark plumbing and they were out in an hour. Plumber was nice and friendly, he cleaned up as he worked, and cleared the drain !  I would recommend Ark plumbing to everyone!

We got service by this plumbing company through our First American Home Warranty. The assigned plumber was very nice (Alex) but had to comeback to fix the toilet problem because one was still running and the other one still overflowed. The toilet was backing up and overflowing when we washed our dishes in the kitchen sink and continously gurgled.

The plumber stated, and in fact showed my husband how-to, snake the main drain. He said he could run a camera to check it, but couldn't b/c his boss would not let him.

When I spoke to ARK, the woman in the office changed the plumber's story about what the problem is and kept stating I need to file another claim. Sounds like they run a very untrustworthy business. She advised me to just let the water overflow and when they see it for their own eyes, they will fix it. We shared video and photos, and they still said it needs to overflow in front of their eyes in order to fix it. I recommended for them to take 5 DUMPS AND A SHOWER and experience the overflow as I have for the past week. I also asked what to do about the running toilet?... they said to file the fixed order for the water district to reimburse what ever adds up on our bill - very SIMILAR to other YELP reviews. She also told me to tell my son he will need to courtesy flush and use less toilet paper ----- giving me advice without snaking the drain???????

I have never worked with such a terrible company and will warn every YELP user not to use this company. There are many other plumbers, please do yourself a favor and hire someone else!

Terrible customer service, took over a month to fix some simple plumbing issues, had to come back multiple times with BS excuses about having to order parts.  never showed up on time and I always had to call to check on their status after they were hours past their window.  One time I called to find out that they weren't coming.  Left a mess and never cleaned up after themselves.  Half ass service all the way.  Will be filing a complaint with home warranty company.

So the common theme here is the woman on the phone who claimed her name was heather which is probably a lie. She was so rude and disrespectful that it's going to cost this company a lot of business, and if she is the owner, then the company won't be around because she's the reason for this bad review. She kept saying I did you a favor by squeezing you in when I would ask for an ETA because the tech wasn't there and I had to go back to work. It was over the time they had told me. Finally I told her to stop saying she did me a favor and she said well next time I'll make you wait that's not how to talk to a customer. Cancelled the appointment and would rather wait and give my business to someone who deserves it, instead of someone being rude and disrespectful towards me

Called and had same-day service to replace a water heater. Great service and reasonable prices.  Very knowledgeable and responsive to questions.

Hot water heater went out last week, First American Home Warranty sent out ARK plumbing.   The process is long and leaves alot to be desired, but ARK themselves were respectable.  Danny was super nice and took care of the issue.

**DO NOT USE ARK PLUMBING** Obviously, there's a reason why ARK Plumbing has a low Yelp and Google review rating... the quality of their work is substandard by far and let me explain.

I live in a very nice two bedroom, two bath condo in Aliso Viejo that I've owned since 2016. The building was built in 1992, so it's older, and there are issues that I have dealt with over the years, but that's to be expected. What I didn't expect was a leak from the upstairs unit shower drain leaking into my bathroom ceiling. I'm the middle unit, and I've dealt with this previously from the same unit, except for it happened at the other shower, and my HOA took care of it. This time, my HOA didn't take responsibility and the leak had to be repaired by the owner of the unit above me so therefore I had absolutely no choice in choosing the plumber to fix the problem as technically the plumbing belongs to the unit above me.

I could tell this wasn't going to be a good experience when I talked to the receptionist at ARK plumbing, and she was flat-out rude and not professional! Trust me I never say anything bad about people unless it's deserved and she was as rude as could be when I explained to her the situation and that I really didn't want them to come out but she insisted that the owner wanted them to come out to fix the problem and probably because the owner knows this company is cheap and that's why they are being used by the owners property management company.

A couple days go by and two plumbers from ARK show up and the first thing I do is give them $100 tip and assure them that I want them to do whatever it takes to do the very best possible job. As a service company owner who has been a business for 31 years, I know that taking care of the employees is job number one, and I thought this would ensure I would get a good quality plumbing repair but boy was I wrong!

These two plumbers were nice enough guys but they spent all day replacing the leaking shower drain pipe and P-trap and when it came time to leave they said everything was done and I neglected to look at the work before they left.

What sucks is they left the plumbing lower than the ceiling joists, and now I have to call in another plumber to fix their mistakes so that I can actually fix the drywall. So yes, their plumbing repair is lower than the ceiling and therefore the ceiling cannot be repaired until I have the plumbing fixed yet again...read that again...THE PLUMBING REPAIR IS LOWER THEN THE CEILING JOISTS AND HAS TO BE REPAIRED (AT MY EXPENSE) BY ANOTHER PLUMBING CONTRACTOR SO I CAN HAVE THE DRYWALL REPAIRED!

I don't want these novices back in my house, and unfortunately, now I have to spend my own hard-earned money fixing their mistakes because they don't actually know how to do their job properly. I'm also going to file a complaint with the Contractor State License Board as this is extremely obvious and any person could tell this is not done right and for the life of me I can't figure out why these plumbers thought it was okay to leave it like this.

Do not work with this company!! ARK Plumbing was assigned by my Home Warranty, First Specialist and I'll be filing a complaint soon about them!  Their customer service has got to be one of the worst!  As a business owner, I'm shock that they have someone so rude taking care of the customers. I had to hire another plumber to fix the same problem only a week after ARK Plumbing came. And on top, ARK Plumbing wrote incorrect diagnosis which caused my insurance to deny the claim.  I had to go outside my insurance and hire another plumber who diagnosed it correctly and had it fixed within 15 mins. I'll be calling my insurance company to let them know about the incorrect report and horrible customer service received from ARK.

Very bad service and dishonest,the told me you need to change  all the Toilets in the house and they told insurance company there is no Mechanical faller and after waiting 3 weeks other plumer came and fix the problem

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLUMBER! There is a reason they only have 2.5 rating. God help you if your warranty company assigns them to you. DON'T LET THEM LEAVE YOUR HOUSE WITHOUT MAKING SURE THINGS WORK because they will never come back and if you call the office the owner is rude and refuses to disclose costs that she AS AN OWNER would know. I have a toilet that has been nonfunctional since their Dec 23rd visit.

Bad customer service. Tuesday afternoon claim my home warranty (First American home warranty) for water leakage. Wednesday I had to call to this company (since the didn't) and asked for an appointment .Explained my situation( possible water damage and mould) I asked for thire immediate assistance she told me first thing available is on Thursday 2-3pm.I had to take a day off and stay home but literally 5 mints to our appointment she called and canceled.No apology no nothing and wanted to reschedule.... They don't care

Wonderful experience with Ark Plumbing! Quick fix was complimentary because we are returning customers. Always courteous and always show up in the neighborhood. They have a permanent bookmark in my Yelp.

We had a time slot from 8am to 9am and Alex the plumber was here at 7:50 am.  Came in and unclog my sink and cleaned up.  He was on time eventhough his truck was broken into last night and did the job without half his tools.  He had a great attitude and strong work ethic to continue to despite what had happened to him.  I would recommend this company for any of your plumbing needs.

I manage properties and have to call plumbers quite often. ARK has been great to work with. They always come quickly, usually same day, and they have very fair prices. I would definitely recommend them.

Our water heater has been having a slow steady leak for the past two weeks. After going through our home warranty company, we were price gouged by a random plumber that wanted to charge approximately $900 for replacement parts and labor to bring the unit up to code. This was outrageous, so we circled back with our real estate agent and she highly recommended ARK plumbing.

Thank goodness for her recommendation! They have been absolutely professional and amazing throughout this whole process. Great communication in keeping us updated and our technician Danny was super awesome and helpful in swapping out the old unit with the new one. Despite having a few other jobs/appointments earlier in the day, he arrived at our house in great timing.He was very informative and professional during the installation. He knew what he was doing and got the job done efficiently. After weeks of stressing over this, ARK was able to put our minds at ease! Thank you for such great service and professionalism. We will definitely be using them again for any plumbing issues in the future!

After a few months, the marks faded away. I was just disappointed that the person didn't take time to explain that the damage he caused was temporary or a follow up comment. Instead, he walked away with his apprentice, and explained what an amazing job he did. That doesn't sound like the best mentor.

ARK Plumbing was assigned by my Home Warranty after a previous contractor failed to fix my plumbing issue (leaky faucets).  I received a call from ARK the morning after I submitted my claim to Home Warranty, and they were onsite within an hour of talking to their scheduling person.

ARK resolved the issue quickly, but more importantly explained to me what the issue was (including why the previous contractor was unable to complete the job), and how they were going to fix it.  After completing the job, they were diligent in cleaning up.

Very fast and efficient, and easy to work with!

I've had bad experiences with home warranty contractors. ARK is top notch! The overflow in our tub was in bad shape. When the tub filled with water and got to the overflow water was leaking down to the downstairs bath through the walls and flooding the 1st floor. That is not how those are supposed to work. So reluctantly I called home warranty (First American). Summer at ARK called that day to schedule. It wasn't life or death so we decided to schedule a couple of days later. Plumber showed up and assessed the damage/problem. Said it would need a gasket replacement or just caulk it (easy fix but not long term). I called Summer and explained the situation. She sent it to home warranty for approval for the replacement. It was scheduled a couple of days later. Andrew came out and did an outstanding job! My wife had to meet them and was worried that they would do less than promised if I wasn't there. But that was NOT the case. Andrew even showed her that the fix worked and installed a tub stopper that worked because she made a comment that she wished we had one there. Great service. Great attitudes. I'd confidently recommend them to anyone. Thanks ARK Plumbing!

They are so bad when it comes to customer service, they were the first assigned by insurance for a renewal of water heater which was covered by in the first year of home purchase I had to pay 75$ fee but they were trying to charge me 500$ for the renewal and when I asked what is this 500$ for, they send me bill with amount due and they waited till last minute to let me know about it what a joke.

By far the best plumbers around! My home warranty company sent over some not-so-good plumbers that then ARK Plumbing had to come and fix all of their work. From the owners to the administrative staff and especially their service technicians ARK has the best people around. Pete resolved 3 major plumbing issues in my home. He diagnosed the problems within minutes and even had parts on hand to fix right away. The parts he ordered arrived within a day and those plumbing issues were also resolved quickly. He also gave great advice on a bathroom home improvement project I was working on myself...Thanks so much!!! highly recommended..they need to be your first call.

Terrible service. No follow through. Left us hanging with a leaking sink for over a month. Elana (customer service rep who handles first american warranty cases) does not return calls and is extremely rude if you ever reach her. Stay away from this plumber. @firstamerican you should stop working with this vendor. They are a disgrace

Garbage.  Plumber came out to my house 2 hours past the service window.

We had a slow leak (over many years) that rotted out our floors that we discovered while remodeling.  This guy puts his ear to our bathroom faucet pipe and says nope you don't have a leak - I can hear it!  Haha are you freaking serious? LOL  I've paid pool leak detection thousands of dollars for a larger leak and it took them hours to find using sound equipment and gas detection!

Then he says he doesn't have the equipment but will write a report and have his boss give us a report.  Took some pictures from his phone.  Never heard back from him again.  Got a bill from them.   You have got to be kidding - other reviews are correct this company is a joke.  Maybe they have some good plumbers on their team.  But they also certainly have bad ones.

My contractor ended up finding the leak and fixing it.

Called Ark Plumbing as a recommendation from a friend. They were called to fix some items at my elderly dad's house. Art was the one that came to the call. Oh my heavens! Nicest man on the planet! He went above and beyond what I have seen in other plumbing companies. I WILL be using them, in particular asking for Art, for any future plumbing needs. Thank you, thank you!

This is not an honest plumbing company.  They WILL take advantage of you.  My experience was not good and they owner of the company is well aware of the problem.  DO NOT use this plumber.  There are too many other reliable plumbing services out there.

Update - Elana M is the owner.  She is the one behind all of then shady work this company does.  I encourage you to look at all of the 1 star reviews this company has received just in the last 2 months.  It's shocking that they are still in business.  I have informed my home warranty company of the issues here and they have notated the complaints in the main system so hopefully others aren't taken advantage of they way I have been.

I was assigned to ARK plumbing by my warranty company to replace a water heater.  I was told that there would be a $500 cost because the plumbers stated they needed to modify the lines and PPE.  When I arrived after work once it was completed there were no modified lines just new heater connectors.  If you don't know what that is it is a flexible metal hose that is screwed onto the heater and pipe in the house.  There are 3 of them which would only take minutes to install, I say that because I unscrewed one when it broke.  $500 to put 3 hoses.  What is crazy they didn't even need to be replaced since the existing ones were fine.  Although it is an easy way to make $500 if you know the warranty company won't question it and won't cover it.

Pete and another guy came out to fix our plugged up shower today in our apartment. It was through our  OC PM property management, disclosure- so not our bill. I was happy with the quick service and Pete getting an out of date funky twist pipe cleaned out and Pete explained everything as to how to trouble shoot where it is plugged up and how our building was designed. Well done.

I had a really great experience with ARK Plumbing.  Their responses to my messages were fast and they were able to schedule an appointment immediately.  

My previously plumber had incorrectly installed a big blue filter, resulting in a slow drip water leak.  I believe it was Bill that came out and fixed the issue.  Their quote to fix the issue was better than all the other plumbers I contacted and the issue was fixed within an hour.  And check this, they actually lowered the cost after the installation because the parts ended up costing less than expected.  Talk about honesty!

I had a slight issue with some dripping after the work was done but they came out and fixed the issue right away at no charge.  Nice to know they stand by their work.  

I won't hesitate to contact them if I have another plumbing job in the future.

ARK Plumbing came on time to install the kitchen faucet. Derek inspected the unit and let me know the sink stopper was corroded and recommended to change it with a little extra. (Not surprised, since the unit is at least 10-15 years old). Later during the installation, he found out the stopper for the sink is not a common one, so he immediately drove to Home Depot to get the special one for the sink. Good service and honest over all, will recommend it to anyone.

I have used this company for both purchasing/ installing a new water heater and also repairing a leaky sink. Very dependable, quick, and friendly. I will definitely call them for all of my plumbing needs.

Most atrocious customer service I've ever heard! They were assigned by our warranty company to fix an issue. 30 minutes after the window of time they said they were supposed to arrive and still no call. If you are are going to run late you need to call and let the customer who is waiting around know. When my husband called, the customer service girl yelled at him and said to get a different company. Horrible customer service!

Liars! You have the wrong house. My house is not from the 50s! And no, I was not informed of your 'policy' or that there would be any issue. I have a hard time believing that you ever have the courtesy to discuss this with customers. Check some of the other reviews, others have experienced the same thing.

This company is very unprofessional and extremely hard to deal with. I called in with a gas leak and the plumber Nick came by promptly. First he did a standard test around the house spray water to look for bubbles. After a while he did find tiny tiny bubbles that appear to be a leak. So he replaced a bunch of pipes and told me hopefully it fixed the problem. He did not measure the amount of leak before or after the repair. When the gas company came they found the same amount of leak before and after. So the work that did was essentially useless. The company still charged me $227 for the useless work and my problem is not fixed! I called in to complain and all they can credit me is $85 towards the next call which is minimum $350 more to test where the gas leak is, not counting the repair which needs to be done. I would not recommend this company to anyone testing for a gas leak.

Update: After my review, Alina from the office called me and CANCELLED the follow-up repair because of my bad review. So my $227 for the failed repair is gone down the drain. This company doesn't deserve to be in business!

These people are criminal.  Me, along with every other completely unsatisfied warranty claim, were forced to use this vendor.  They are terrible at best.  Had to come back multiple times  because their initial work didn't fix the issue.  They somehow managed to charge extra which is a complete joke.  Avoid at all costs

So they do you a favor by coming out again when they don't get it right the first time.  I should pay extra for the service that should have been done correctly the first time?  No itemized receipt of any kind, no explanation. I'm sure it's pure coincidence that everyone with warranty work is completely unsatisfied. What a joke

I recently had a issue with my water heater and my home warranty company referred  me to this guys!!
I called them to check that time they coming and la lady on the phone was rude and dint work with me it was an emergency and she told the they will take 3 to 5 days that was not the right answer!!!
I don't know why they advertise 24/7 service
Because of them I got water damage in my garage
And I end up hiring and other company they came to my house the same day and took care of the problem in hrs!

The worst plumbing company we've had to deal with. Scheduling issues, they aren't available after 2 for working people. They take a very long time to complete job and they cancel in you last minute. This has happened several times. Dispatch doesn't seem to care much either. Give you money and job to someone else.

These guys are know they're stuff and priced right! I made the mistake of calling one of the rescue rooter guys. Guy used a hand snake and tried to charge 300 then tell me it needed more. Had to wait 2 days for an appointment from these guys but it was well Worth it. The rescue guy wanted to take my whole toilet off, these guys knew to just take the access off in the shower and snakes it that way. In and out faster then it took the first guy to tell me he had to charge more. I got a trainer trainee team and they rocked it. Explained everything, fixed it and left the bathroom looking nice. This will be my plumbers from now on for sure

I had Andrew C., quick turnaround and good service. It was a small job but I'm happy and would use them again.

They installed a new set of hardware for a kitchen sink that was leaky and rusty. Hands down the best plumbing experience I've ever had. They know their stuff, they work fast, and they're a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them.

These people are crooks.  They come out and give a verbal estimate of $2600 and we contact them to do the service and they give us a written bid of $4200. Do not ever use these crooks.  They up charge 5 days later, almost double the price... DO NOT USE THEM

We were using our home warranty with Ark pluming (they were assigned to us). We were supposed to get a new garbage disposal as the previous one leaked. They came by in a timely manor and installed it. We were told we had to pay $195 for a pipe that wasn't included. Fine even though it seemed high. So the guy installs it and leaves. He literally left an exposed, open pipe and closed the case. I have no idea why he would leave a pipe like this. Apparently they don't know what they are doing.

Andrew from ARC Plumbing arrived on a such a short notice to fix our leaking shower head and bath spout. He was prompt to change out the  cartridge and replace the shower head and bath spout. Very happy with the quick turnaround, the professional service and the great communication from start to end. Thanks again!

We had a valve that broke to our washer and dryer and Derek came over immediately to see what was going on. Thanks to him we did not flood. He did a temporary fix to the problem on a Sunday and was here on Monday as he had to get a special part. Thanks to his honesty we weren't charged for the higher labor since he came on Monday due to not having the part. Love the integrity and honesty that Derek showed. They are not out to rip you off. We finally found a plumber that we can count on!  Thanks for the excellent service!

FYI, I see that the owner responds and denies everything, so believe what you want.

We were referred by First American Warranty (not the first to review about how bad their service is by getting a referral by First American). First, they stood us up a half-hour before the appointment. Called and said there was another emergency. We live in a condo and had coordinated with the unit below us, which that owner had to take time off work to make this appointment. They didn't show any empathy.

Then they had told me over the phone that we might not get full coverage, how do they know? They haven't even looked at the issue? Overall just horrible customer service and didn't show any empathy. So unprofessional!!!!!

Our hot water heater flooded the garage on Labor Day Weekend. The unit was old and a crack was apparent on the top.
We called a bunch of plumbers trying to get a rapid replacement since we had to turn all our water off.
Arc sent a knowledgeable and skilled guy by the name of Danny out. We quickly by phone received a fair price on a new good quality water heater.
We can tell Arc is a honestly run company since we asked Danny about a couple of other plumbing issues and he told us that they were fine and didn't try to sell us any we didn't really need.  The lady on the phone was knowledgeable and was very professional too.

Do not use this plumbing company.  I had what I thought was a slab leak. I noticed it on a Friday night.  I called First American Home Warranty early Saturday morning for a referral for a plumber to come out that same day. When I called ARK Plumbing, I was told that I had to call back on Monday to get an appointment, which I did. The plumber came out that Monday afternoon.  He looked all around and wasn't sure what was leaking.  He couldn't dig into the slab because I first needed asbestos testing and then probably asbestos eradication (thousands of dollars).  He told me he would go back to the office and discuss my situation with people at his office.  He told me he would call me back that very afternoon and would forward my name and number to an asbestos company. Today is Friday and I have not received a call from ARK Plumbing or from any asbestos company. I called my neighbor over.  He opened the grill by the floorboard under the heater and found a lot of moisture and a puddle.  The plumber also opened this up and didn't see anything much. My neighbor was able to determine that I had a clog in my a/c drain pipe.  He fixed it in about half an hour. I used a fan to dry the carpet. So I paid the $75 service fee for no service from the plumber. Thank God for great neighbors. The only positive thing I can say is that the plumber was a nice person.
New - Thank you for your response. I have no problem with the asbestos issue.  I did NOT receive any of the phone calls you say were made.  I was at home all those times you mentioned. There was never a phone call from your company.

DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY DO WORK ON YOUR HOUSE!  THEY WILL WASTE YOUR TIME AND SEND UN-QUALIFIED PLUMBERS.
They were sent by First American Home Warranty and came out three times to try and fix a leaking toilet.  I'm not a plumber and told them that they need to use the OEM part or it will continue to leak because we experienced the same problem with our other toilet a few years back.  All three times they sent the worker without the part, even though I took the time to provide them with the part number before the first visit.  The last tech that showed up for the third attempt to repair, clearly did not want to be there.  He was grumpy, wreaked of cigarettes and was heavily tatted. He rudely said he didn't have the part and left.  I called the office to complain to the manager as I was livid from them wasting our time, three different times (we had to be home for multiple-hour windows each time).  She was stand-off-ish as many other Yelpers have written on their reviews.  I'm not sure why First American still uses this company.  I filed a written complaint with the Orange County Area Representative and she filed a written complaint with First American's contractor relations division.  We'll see how much longer they'll last working with this home warranty company.  I warned ARK Plumbing's manager of this, but she didn't care as she talked back to me on the phone.  She'll be surprised to see someone follow-through and do what they say, because she clearly doesn't operate her business that way...

The guys at ARK did a FANTASTIC job in fixing my garbage disposal problem. They diagnosed the situation VERY quickly and solved it just as fast.

Their solution was very reasonable and definitely did not break the bank either!!!

We recently had Andrew out to our home from ARK to fix a pipe burst. He was very helpful and followed up with us on how everything was going. He let us know of his identification of faulty pipe which should be replaced under warranty from the pipe company and gave us all the information we needed to contact the manufacturer. BEWARE: Updated review, they still suck. Called back because my water heater that they installed had a leak and... they refused to come out. According to the same manager/owner, they DO NOT PROVIDE ANY KIND OF WARRANTY ON PARTS OR SERVICES....

Terrible, terrible and terrible. I had the water leak started from the water tank in the garage that flooded the washer/dryer room, living room and garage. Now first american home warranty has sent the naive unprofessional young boy who has demeaner but has no experience at all. He checked the water tap and was suspecious of the wall that has nothing to do with it. He opened the dry wall only to find nothing wrong. It took 15-20 min to check all that weirs places like outside water pipe, bathroom and drywall. And he said it is floor problem. And he said another contractor should come. And I asked several l questions but he was reluctant to say anything. And guess what. Another contractor came a week later. It took only 30 seconds to diagnose the problem. It was a water leak from the water/heater tank. It was dripping. How in the world that one guy didnt catch this one whereas another one does? Now i am still waiting for the contractor bringing the ordered parts to replace. But because of the first guy wasted times, now it flooded the entire house and the door is not shut and water is everywhere. Depending on the damage that they failed to diagnose and negligence, i am trying to see what I can do to the contractor and home warranty. And I want to share my experience with all of you that you need to watch out the home warranty company who does not know the contractor and sometime the contractor is there to collect service fee and get reputation. Here is my score for this A R K plumbing in 1 being worst and 10 being best:

Do Not Use this company. I rarely write reviews but was simply forced to after the months of delays. After repeated scheduling they simply did not show up. The customer service was met with lies, denials and blame by the owner. Do you really want to gamble if you're going to get 5 star service or one star?  The proposed remedy was feel free to use another contractor for your home service warranty needs.  If this callous attitude sounds familiar, please read the other reviews for ARK. I should have done my research and known better. Save yourself the hassle.

Another project for Ark. This time Nick came out to install new parts on a discontinued Kohler bathroom faucet. We wanted to keep the faucet because we liked the design.  Kohler sent us many parts required and Nick had no problem replacing the existing parts. Nick was fast and really knew what he was doing.  The service fee was very fair and worth it. I am so glad that I have found a family plumber for all of our plumbing needs. Nick or Bill are highly recommended.

Andrew rescued my kitchen garbage disposal. He's a miracle worker. He was so efficient and helpful! When you're a Mom of two kids, it's nice to have some extra eye candy doing some handy work in your kitchen

This company is a joke! They were dispatched to my home by my home warranty company to fix and issue with my shower. The plumber had to change out a cartridge in my shower hot/cold knob. After the plumber changed out the cartridge, the hot was still getting cold and cold was getting hot. I had to tell the plumber to check to see if the cartridge was installed backwards, and that was the problem! You would have thought he would have figured that out.

After the plumber left, we noticed a constant drip from the shower head. Called the company back later that evening and the lady we spoke with denied it was her plumber because everything was fixed correctly. Needless to stay, they're a joke and avoid using this company at all cost! They'll fix one issue and cause another one.

After going round and round with my home warranty company and ARK Plumbing, my home warranty company asked ARK Plumbing to submit a report of what would have to be done to stop the leak, and ARK advised they would need to replace the valve AND relocate several inches to adapt to line. My home warranty even stated the report did not seem all that accurate and seemed a little excessive considering ARK Plumbing made no evaluation of my shower prior to changing out the cartridge.  I called the owner Elana who LIED about submitting a factitious report to my home warranty company in attempts to rack up the bill and she acted totally oblivious to the fact that a factitious report was submitted. Needless to say, CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED if you use the company and their decisive tactics!

Worst customer service , very careless office staff  call hundred times  to taker of my plumbing issue.     Unprofessional people

This company came to fix a clog issue. They did not fix it. They opened up the pipe access from my garage and did not properly close it back up stating plumbers would come the next day to fix the issue.

No one came and I asked for them to at least return to properly close the pipe access back up and they refused. When I tried to close it up myself, I was unable to. Again, I called to ask if they could come and close it up as I was unable to, and they continually refused saying it was not their responsibility. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!!!

Garbage company. The person answering the phone is rude, their technician is even worst. They make me pay the service fee before accessing the problem and didn't provide a receipt. In addition, they claimed with First American Insurance that I didn't pay them the $75 service fee. Called First American and they told  me ARK is not obligated to collect the fee... wtf?? The technician left a huge dirty mess at my house that I have to clean up after they left.

Don't ever use ARK if there are other options.

After two days trying to unclog my kitchen sink myself, im a handy one I like to think... but apparently plumbing isn't my thing.  We gave Ark a call and they were able to send someone right away in AM.  Andrew saved the day!  He fixed everything in the kitchen sink.  Now speedy and efficient! Thanks so much Andrew C.  - Ark Plumbing will definitely be the next business we call if we have any more plumbing issues! Thanks again Andrew C!!

2 days ago, our hall bathroom shower and toilet backed up and the toilet began leaking at the base. I just about freaked out because I was going to be hosting a Christmas gathering the next evening!
Ark Plumbing came to the rescue! They called us and wanted to schedule to come out the next morning which was totally understandable because a 24 hr turnaround time is reasonable. Normally we would be ok with that but due to the circumstances this was an urgent matter for us. They not only understood but they got here within the hour!
Andrew saves the day! He was professional in every way and did not give up until the entire problem was remedied. We've had plumbers come out before and just rush the job and go but not Andrew!
He did a fantastic job! I was so happy I just about cried. I appreciate this so much!

Thank you ARK! I had a nightmare of an experience trying to make a home warranty claim after discovering a leak at my home only a few weeks after purchasing it. ARK was the second contractor to come out after the first refused to complete the work. ARK was able to assess the issue and fix it in no time at all. I really appreciate the extra effort and time ARK took to make it happen. I will use them again.

These guys are fantastic! They have been nothing but helpful and professional, always on time. They have replaced my water heater, worked on my shower and ran a water line for me. The guys name escapes me, but I think it's Bryan, he has gone above and beyond being helpful. If you have First American Home Warranty and have any plumbing issues, have them send ARK to your place.

We contacted FAHW because of the slab leak in our home and they sent 2 plumbing companies to my place who did no help us. One of them did a rerouted our water lines poorly even after we spent a lot of money to them. Finally, they sent ARK to assist.

I have to say that every time you deal with any plumber, you deal with the people in the office and the actual plumbers. The customer service I received form Elana over the phone was exceptional. The plumbers are very kind and professional.

I will continue to have them fix any plumbing issue we have going forward.

PLEASE, look at all the negative reviews for Ark Plumbing.  I've read many and had the same experience.  One of the most unprofessional business I have ever worked with.  Left me without hot water and new water heater for over 45 days and they could quite frankly care less.  This was a First American referral and like the other reviews indicate, must be the only way they are staying in business.  DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!

These guys are the bomb! They have come out for my home warranty more times than I can count for various issues. I honestly see them more than my relatives. They have fixed and replaced toilets, disposal, faucets and a hot water heater. I am always excited when my home warranty assigns me to this company as they are fast, professional, fair and thorough. As a bonus, they are super clean. I really appreciate their honesty thoroughness and expediency. I highly recommend this company.

I agree with the review from three years ago. We also were given them from American Home Warranty. They came, did very little, left literal shit in our bathtub. Then had the nerve to call and say we were denied! Do NOT use them!!! These people are rude.

My home Warranty assigned A R K Plumbing to repair my leaking toilet  in the master bedroom on the 2nd floor.  The water leak affected the 1st floor living room and upstairs.  ARK Plumbing technician came, and left right after the 1st look.  We did not know what was going on.  We kept calling ARK and my Home Warranty.  They were pushing around and did nothing.  Finally I had to hire a Handyman outside of the Home warranty Network to repair it for my house. Later on, I filed the complaint to my Home Warranty and request the reimbursement for that repair service cost.  I found out that ARK reported to my Home Warranty no mechanical failures when they diagnosed. Therefore, they would not be able to provide their bid for the plumbing repairs.  What a joke! My complaint is still on.... my Home Warranty still review the claim withing 30 days.  Think twice before calling ARK for any plumbing services consultation, even it is free. Or you will be suffer as me.

Wow how much did I want to kiss Andrew?  We had gone through our home warranty company and they sent out another plumber who told me he could not do anything unless I wanted to pay for a replacement toilet.  Now mind u this was  not the first time we had this blockage.  We called back the home warranty company and they sent us to ARK.  The scheduler got us in within hours oof me calling in and kept me updated on the time the plumber would arrive.  Andrew came in and he is a Plumbing God!  He got the toilet  back in working order
Cannot tell you how pleased I am!

Truly terrible experience.  Technician showed up for a repair to a broken shower valve handle that caused my shower to run constantly if the water to the house was not shut off.  The technian first diagnosed the issue incorrectly, then when i pressed him to take a closer look, he decided the cartridge was bad and he didnt have the part and would need to come back in a few days to fix it.  After he left, I discovered he had left the bathroom floor soaking wet, he took my channel lock pliers (which he was using to try and perform the repair) and he left with one of the components to the shower valve assembly so I clould not but it back together.  When I called the main office to share my frustration, they did nothing to help me, not even ask their technician to return the pliers he took from me.  STAY AWAY!

ARK are my main people to call anything plumbing related. I run a property management company and they are on time, knowledgeable, and I recommend them to everyone.

I want to thank ARK plumbing for their quick reply on my emergency sink catastrophe. They sent out a guy named PJ who showed up and took care of business. He cleaned our pipes and I saw no plumbers crack!

I have subsequently got a message via Yelp from another homeowner with similar experience as I had.  She was also told that she would need to pay for the modification of two valves at $500. Thus it seems that no matter what system you have , they will try to get another $500  from you on top of the  approximately $200 labor the insurance will likely pay plus the $75 initial visit copay.  The total number hour spent in replacing our unit was less than 30 minutes. The tankless unit itself was around $800 in our case.  I am merely stating the fact.

These guys were amazing. Our water heater busted in our garage on a Sunday of Memorial Day weekend.. not the greatest time. They responded to phone calls on a Sunday and were out that day to help sort things out.

They then made sure first thing Tuesday morning since Monday was a holiday and warehouses were closed to get a water heater ordered and they had it installed Wednesday by lunch!

They were easy to get a hold of regularly on the phone... they gave great customer service and I will definitely use them again in the future!

If poor customer service, inability (or refusal) to break down a bill, VERY rude (Elana) management, leaks that weren't there before the hot water heater job was stated, but they aren't responsible for, make the experience as difficult as humanly possible is what your going for, then ARK is your plumbing match! The only star due is for the nice, professional tech that helped us! Such a frustrating experience from start to finish, just grateful it's now done even if it cost us hundreds that cant even be explained.

We had a plumbing issue which I had already requested to have checked before. The last time a technician came by and didn't pay much attention to my concerns. However, this time Andrew serviced our issue. He took the time to listen and checked everything throughly. He made sure to leave everything working properly not only in my unit but my neighbor's as well. I liked that he didn't rush out making a temporary repair. I called the gas company and was told I had to wait until Monday for service on my water heater.
