What can I say, just WOW. My community is doing a major repiping project for every unit. When my unit was due to be re-piped, I was very worried about the mess. Remember, this is a repiping of my while home, every water outlet. I left the morning they came to re-pipe. I spend the day out and when I received the call that my unit was complete after 9 hours, I thought I will walk in to see a layer of dust and debris, when I opened the door, I truly did not belive that anyone came in the house while I was gone. It was cleaner then when I left it. I was shocked, I have never experienced such professionalism. They had covered EVERYTHING, NOT ONE PART OF THE HOME WAS DUSTY.
I like really to thank Alex, he always excelled in his work and he is the backbone of this company. Always try to ask for him for yiur project. He leads a great team and a very nice guy all around. I never met Toby, but he has also been very accommodating thought our texts and he worked hard to meet me time and day deadlines. This is the best company I been exposed to.

I live in Laguna Niguel and whoever lives this area and or in city of Aliso Viejo, knows that how hard water we have and most of the homes or condos in our area has done re-pipe. I found Ameri-Cal through Yelp and read a lot of great review on them. As soon as set an online request for estimate, get contacted by Paul right away and he came in next day and gave me an estimate. I got another 2nd estimate from 2nd company who had great reviews on yelp too. Cost wise they were very close but I chose Ameri-Cal because they would have done few jobs in our community and Paul very professionally knew the floor plan and plumbing routes very well . @nd reason was that Ameri-Cal works with a financing company who finqanced me very quick and without any hassel.

Job started after a week. The crew were very young, energetic and professional. Covered everywhere nicely to minimize the dust. Alex and his re-Pipe crews totally 6 guys did the re=Pipe in the 1st day and water were running in pipes. Next day City inspector inspect the job and day after the patching crew Melvin and Francisco finished the patching job perfectly . All of these young crews know their job very well and did everything in nice manner and on time.

I had a very great experience with them and surely refer them to anybody that plan to re-pipe.
Nevertheless to say that Joyce and Bryan in office were always available to answer my questions and coordinate for paperwork and inspection.

Our washer was backing out into our bathtub. I messages Ameri-Cal and right away I received a call back. Robert showed up very punctual and was quick to get to the issue. Exceeded my expectations. They came in low on price which had me a bit concerned going in, however they did a fantastic job. They pulled the permit right away and were flexible in when I was able to have them start. First crew did the Repipe on my single story 2 bath in about 6 hours. Next day they did a virtual inspection with the city and 3rd day the second crew came in and patched the walls and textured them to the point of ready to paint. I could tell these guys knew what they were doing. They minimized holes in the wall and didn't cut corners on the install. They were efficient and didn't screw around. Both crews prepped the house with floor coverings and hung plastic barriers to protect the areas before starting the work and they did a good job of cleaning up. I was surprised that I didn't have any dust after the work. I would absolutely recommend this company based on my experience. It's refreshing to deal with a plumbing company that is NOT out to screw you over.

We highly recommend Ameri-Cal Repipe. Granted, this was something we didn't want to do, but our home being 38 years old, and this being our second copper pipe leak incident in a relatively short time, we figured it was required. Paul came out and did a great job of explaining the process and gave a good estimate about $300 cheaper than our other contender for the same material and labor. We decided to go with a Pex repipe instead of copper. It was cheaper and seemed to have very few issues.

The repipe crew (Jorge foreman) arrived right on time (7:30 AM) and began to work masking the whole house (2 story, 2500 sq. ft.) to prevent dust and dirt. By 4:00 PM the repipe was complete and the water on. I couldn't believe how neat the place was after they left considering the amount of work they did. True there were a number of holes in the walls but the replaster crew was scheduled to come the day after the city inspector which was tomorrow .

We had a few minor issues:
1) when reconnecting one of our older valves, the nut holding it in place cracked and had to be replaced.
2) The city inspector noticed a few minor issues, none requiring the replaster to be stopped.

The replaster crew came early the next day. Toby sent a man out in the morning to fix the valve part before the plasters patched that hole and that guy also addressed the minor issues brought up by the inspector.

The replaster crew left the house exceptionally clean considering all they had to do. Realize that the homeowner is responsible for repainting the fixes, but the texture job done by the crew seemed to match the wall texture quite well.

After three or four day,s we noticed there was a hole in the garage wallboard that hadn't been patched. We called Toby and a man was sent out and it was fixed within two days.

We would definitely recommend Ameri-Cal Repipe to our friends if they need such a service.

Above and Beyond!! Worth ALL 5 STARS. These guys are pros and priced reasonable!! I'm in the Real Estate industry and see a lot of schisters out there. Not Ameri-Cal. Reasonably priced, SUPER clean, super thorough, and extremely courteous. Repiped in one day! The dry-wall and texture guys/subs were outstanding. Texture is not easy. They got it perfect and....they stayed until the job was finished- 0745pm and waited 30 minutes before we arrived to inspect the drywall. The house was left cleaned. I left the house all day and felt that I could trust everyone. It's never perfect, and I understand that. They accidentely cut an electrical line (it does happen to even the pros and I know that). The next day an electrician repair man came out and mad the corrective repairs. Great job!!

I shopped around and chose Ameri-Cal Repipe based on Yelp reviews and price. They were very competitive on price, and the estimator that came out was very professional and patient. The repipe crew showed up on time and was super efficient, as was the patch snd plaster crew the next day. We got new pipes in one day and our water pressure is so much better than we even hoped. I highly recommend American-Cal Repipe!

This company knows what they are doing. They are efficient, hard working and can probably get the job done in 3-4 days. Mine took a little longer due to a hiccup with the city inspector but Paul and Toby took care of any little problem and always returned my phone calls promptly. I would highly recommend Ameri-Cal to do your re-piping.

Have to give these guys a big shout out. From the estimate through the install they were able to turn a bad situation into a great outcome. Paul the estimator was honest and thorough in the services description. The install guys were outstanding. Water off about 9am and fully functional re-pipe of 2500sf two story by 4pm. I am pretty mechanical and a big DIY'r and these guys blew me away on how they were able to route pex through tiny accuses points and end up spot on behind a toilet or sink. Then the finish guys show up and other than the need to paint you can't tell they were here. I HIGHLY recommend Ameri-Cal!!!! I don't highly recommend dealing with the City of Yorba Linda however, wish I could yelp them minus stars. terrible assistance and LOUSY inspection services!!!!!! Thanks Ameri-Cal.

If you are in the market for repiping, this the a great company, very well oiled machine, they have a system in place better than anything I have seen.
Starting with customer service on the phone, they sent us an estimator that same day, he was very knowledgable and thorough, then when we agreed to a contact ($6150 for 3 bathrooms and a kitchen), their crew show up in the morning and covered up the house, went to work on the re-pipping. We had water that same evening, city inspection was done in 2 days with no problem. The next day the patching crew was there, they did a great job matching the texture of our walls.
Thank you America-Cal with your quality of service, you made fixing my house a lot easier. I highly recommend them.

These guys are the most unprofessional people I have ever spoke with! The lady I spoke with in the phone was extremely rude!! No wonder why these guys have bad reviews!! Do yourself
A favor and save your money!! If your calling to get help with plumbing and the person that answers the phone is rude that's a sign about how the company is and works!! If your reading this review do yourself a huge favor and look for another company! Save your money by not using these guys. It's not worth it. Our neighbor had some work done by them and they had to get many things repaired afterwards but were cheap! I can understand why!! Not sure how this company is even in business with there unprofessional customer service!!

We have a 1950's home which had copper plumbing but the type it was, it was clear it had finished its life. We had four pin hole leaks and was told by a couple of different people who fixed the leaks that the pipes were in really bad shape.

I got three estimates and all were relatively similar. I liked that a whole team of gentleman would come out and have the water back on that day. Paul came out for the estimate and was very professional and organized. I was able to receive the estimate at the end of all of his questions about the house.

They arrived prior to the told arrival time. They covered the floor very well, and created plastic walls so there were areas we could still exist in while they were working, and yet keep the dust and dirt inside those walls, away from us.

Every one of the workers was wonderful. And the head gentleman was great and very knowledgeable. We did have a few issues as far as needing some adjustments with water leaking a tiny bit in a couple areas after they were done. I talked to Toby and they sent someone out right away and the issues were fixed.

It is a big job re-piping and it is not a pleasant experience. However, I feel that they made it as live able and pleasant as possible, while an uncomfortable change is occurring. The hole patches were done and have gotten the final permit for the re-pipe from the city. I would definitely recommend Ameri-cal (Special thank you's to Paul, Alex, Fermin, and Toby!

I called 10 plumbers due to low water pressure in the rear bathroom only four called back, three came out. only one that actually looked at the re-pipe job , Ameri-Cal all of the others gave me a price based on the square footage. BecauseI had re-piped in remodeling the bathrooms and kitchen I expected a lower price Ameri-Cal was the only one that based their price on the work to be done. we got a fair price and they did exactly what they said they were going to do we're thrilled because for the first time in several years we have great water pressure in the shower I would just describe it as an honest business and was very happy with results

I received several quotes for a leak on a copper pipe on the exterior of my house, Ameri-Cal was the most reasonable. For the most reasonable price I feel I also received top notch experience! Isaac was very prompt and let me know what to expect, he was knowledgeable and didn't dilly dally so we could both get on with our Saturday! I would call them again if I need a plumber and would highly recommend them for anyone in need of plumbing service!

Ameri-Cal, who I found via Yelp, did a full house repipe in my 2-storey house, in the last few weeks. They did a great job! Joyce was sympathetic with my unexpected slab-leak in the floor, and arranged to send Paul for a review right away. Paul, a no-pressure professional, provided a written quote, and he accommodated earliest possible schedule for the repiping. The crew that came in was very efficient and finished the repiping the same day! Of course it took a couple of days to get the City permit, which was very well coordinated by the staff. Another crew quickly completed the drywall work. Everything was done as planned. Joyce was in no hurry to invoice the job! I'd certainly recommend Ameri-Cal for repiping and Drywall work.

Repipe of a 2100 sq ft house with 2 bathrooms done in 3 days! (Day 2 was strictly waiting on inspector.)

After several years of procrastination due to fear of mess and cost, I finally pulled the trigger. And guess what? My fear was unwarranted.

Ameri-cal was awesome! Most previous reviews already cover what I have to say so I'll be brief.

Day 1- Repipe was done quickly and neatly. Interior floors and items were covered to prevent as much mess as possible.

Day 2- Inspector came out and met with me. Repipe passed with flying colors. The inspector was impressed and even commented that the job was done well and was a really clean job.

Day 3- Initially, one patcher had shown up. He stated he didn't know how big the job was and said he would have to finish the following day. I explained to him I was going on vacation and leaving that following day. I had previously explained this to the salesman so I guess there was a slip up in communication between them. But not a big deal. After I explained this to the patcher, reinforcement troops were sent in and the job was completed that day.

Ameri-Cal recently did a full-house PEX repipe of my house. It began with Paul's initial visit then worked with Toby in the office. The work was done professionally by both the repiping and drywall patch crews. They were careful to get everything right and were very customer friendly.

I was especially impressed with George and the rest of Crew 1 with their smart approaches for inserting PEX in the upstairs bathrooms, shower, and tub. In guest bathroom they could have carved holes through an adjoining bedroom closet where the 10 yr old sleeps and he would've been displaced most of that week. For guest shower/tub they could've punched a hole thru adjoining linen closet. But in both cases they smartly started at kitchen ceiling and snaked their way along existing pipe pathways carving only the holes necessary. No adjoining rooms were affected. Having a good sized crew really helped. Clearly they were very experienced and a less experienced crew would've taken a brute force approach. I also liked their water heater approach.

The city inspector admitted also to us he was impressed by their thoroughness and professional approach. For both crews that repipe perhaps 5 homes a week, everyone was trying to do the best job possible. At every stage we asked a lot of questions and every person asked was very helpful and caring. This was important because it was a lot to take in - the hammering, sanding, all the temporary holes in the kitchen. I work from home so I could only schedule a portion of that week outside of it.

I got Ameri-Cal recommendation from family friends who recently repiped with them and had a very good experience. Their quote was competitive and Paul and Toby were great to work with as well as Joyce in the back office. The work was excellent and the house was clean and when they were done it was ready for painting. Just needed to do some brush-up cleaning of drywall speckles in a few areas. We have great water pressure now overall, 2 people can take showers at the same time, and the 3 minutes it used to take to get hot water in upstairs shower only seconds.

For anyone considering repiping, I highly recommend Ameri-Cal.

Ameri-Cal was an excellent company to work with. We were having an active slab leak & Toby came out right away to give us an estimate. The crew was out 2 days later to do a whole-house repipe. They were clean & professional & did a great job. Toby called during the repipe to make sure everything was going well. He also called after the repipe to make sure we were happy with the job. We needed a couple of small things finished up so guys were sent out to complete the job. Everything went as planned & better than we imagined. The repipe was finished before Christmas & the inspection & drywall completed before the new year. Even with the holidays, everything was finished in a timely manner. I was nervous about the 90+ holes that had to get patched but the drywall guys did an amazing job. You can't even tell what part of my walls & ceilings have been patched as they blended everything so well. Ameri-Cal was a great company to work with & we highly recommend them for your repipe/plumbing needs.

I just had plumber Isaac Gonzalez out for to clear a clogged kitchen clean-out. After cleaning everything out he went above and beyond noticing that one side of our vegetable sink was still draining a little slow. He then rebuilt the drain on that side of the sink cleaning everything out and its like new! We have been using Isaac for maintenance and upgrades ever since Ameri-Cal re piped our whole house a few years back. In my experience they are one stop shop that is fair, honest, prompt, and professional. They are the 1st place I would call with any plumbing need!

After getting a few quotes in my new home's area, none of them came across as trust-worthy and they all want an arm and a leg. So, I looked up Ameri-Cal in OC who did a my last house's re-piping job. I didn't think they'd come out to my new home's location, but they did. Alberto Vasquez came out, gave me an honest quote, and I see wonderful work being done again at my new home! This time, I have to add a new 100' gas line from the meter with 3 different outlets for BBQ grills and firepit, plus a new water line. Alberto is the hardest working person I've seen, trench the 18-inch deep path all by himself in the heat, and did a great job on setting everything up exactly to my specs. He also added a water filter hook-up / by-pass for me in the garage. The outcome is much better than my neighbor's who had theirs done by the softener company. The technicians at Ameri-Cal are highly skilled. I liked working with Alberto, who was professional and gave me no BS. Will definitely go to them again for any water or gas related work in the future. Highly recommend.

This is the best experience I ever had with a plumbing co. We just Repipe the entire house after a major slab leak. Paul was great the entire time coming to our house multiple times and gave us a very reasonable estimate. Alfanso's crew Repipe the entire house and install a new water heater in one day. Ameri-Cal Repipe did a fantastic job with repiping our whole house, installing a gas line, and patching up all the holes. They offered reasonable prices and speedy, reliable service. Paul clearly explained the repiping process to us, and the foreman Alex kept us updated while his team worked. We were at first doubtful they wouldn't finish patching in time with just two workers, but Toby (who worked at the office) reassured us it would be done and stayed true to his word. He also arranged the city checkup and follow-up work. In all, the project was finished within a few days, and we couldn't be more satisfied with Ameri-Cal's service!

Well after 3 days of trying to connect they sent out Victor one of their technicians. He was able to complete 2 of the tasks needed, a camara and jetting of my main line sewer. However at a greater cost than his comptition $795 other quotes were $200 less. The other task needed is a replacement of 8 ft of that line. Now he stated another employee would be comeing in two days to give me an estimate to do the work. Well it has now been two weeks and numerous calls to the company and no reponse at all. So assuming they don't need the work I won't be calling them back. In addtion Victor left his very expensive chargeing system for the camera behind, now they don't need the work or their tools?

Now I choose these guys and expected to pay more for better service based upon the previous so called great reviews. So either those reviews are bogus or my service has been the exception. Buyer beware

I was very impressed with this company I had a leak underneath the slab. I just wanted them to put a bandaid but I need knew eventually their will be more leaks in a few months so I had my property have a complete repiping job. It took 7 guys to complete the job in 4 days. They were professional as they minimize dust blowing everywhere by using plastic coverings. Most importantly the city building inspector was pleased with their work despite having to make some corrections.

Very pleased with the services. We actually contacted the company to see if they undo clogged drain. They do... they quickly came and took care of the matter within 5 minutes. Very professional!

We also hired them for a whole house water filter system (Puronics BPS water treatment system) due to the unknown contaminants in the city water. This is to ensure the whole family health and wellness, and also the longevity of the whole house piping system.
Many corroded house water pipes are due to the chemical treatment added in the city water that get sent to each household.
That's scary! Think of what goes in your body after all that corrosion!
Installing the purification system is only a very small price to pay if you take into consideration of the cost of future re-piping of the whole house and also health care cost of sick family members.
We made the right decision I know, because the water now taste much sweeter and fresh, and the best part is that all faucets are potable now! I can even drink water while showering!

This company provided the most information and correspondence, which to me is very crucial. I know all the members on the team take pride in their work and customer satisfaction is very important to them. I am so happy that I found them!

After several pin hole leaks in our 28 year old copper piping, we did some research and decided to re-pipe with PEX. Using yelp as a guide, we found three local companies with 5 star ratings to call for quotes. Only two of the three called back and booked an appointment with us. One of the two was Ameri-Cal. We also contacted our regular plumbing company that we have been using for repairs.

The first company salesman came out and gave us what we thought was a reasonable quote which included drywall repair. He then stated that his company would not repair the few existing drywall holes from our previous leak repairs, but if we wanted to, we could offer his drywall guy a side job to make those repairs. During the visit he also said that his company encourages potential customers to seek out other quotes before deciding whom to hire because his company was the most expierienced in repiping with Uponor PEX. After completing his inspection/sales pitch he quickly became a car salesman and asked what would it take to sign a contract right away

The next person we spoke with was Paul from Ameri-Cal. Paul was the complete opposite of the first guy in demeanor. He explained the entire process to us and was just as knowledgeable in Uponor PEX as the first guy. Paul not only gave a lower quote, he said that his drywallers would repair the few existing holes at no extra charge.

On the day of the re-pipe Jorge and his crew showed up at 7:30 as promised. They quickly went to work sealing up our house with plastic sheeting and floor protection and stayed on task throughout the day. By 4:00, our house was completely re-piped and cleaned up. Jorge then took his time and conducted a walk through with us and explained what he and his crew had done.

The next day, the drywallers showed at the time promised and sealed up our house before starting work. By the end of the day, our drywall was completed. They are very good at what the do. they matched the existing knock down finish perfectly and after the repairs dried, you could not tell where the holes had been.

If you need a re-pipe, I highly recommend Ameri-Cal.

I selected Ameri-Cal out of the 3 bids I received mainly for the sales pitch - Toby was the most on it guy with knowledge and information he provided. The actual repipe was a big project but Alex, the job foreman, kept his crew going and finished at the end of the day. Alex and the guys were courteous and answered any of my questions. It seemed like a big mess but in actuality, they were preventing a mess. When they tore down the plastic and ripped up the paper flooring protection, the house looked good.
After the inspection, which was delayed due to the July 4th holiday, the drywall patchers protected the house in the same way and even mopped up the kitchen floor at the end of their day. Because the PEX pipe went between the two stories of my home, it affected only the ceiling. The patchers finished off our hand-troweled ceiling and it matched perfectly with the texture and color so very little painting is necessary - just small areas behind each toilet and a little in the garage. I did provide my own shower sets because I knew I could save some money rather than using the sets they provide.
Having the new hardware with the even pressure flow, the repiping has already made a big difference in our plumbing.

HIGHLY recommended! I messaged several companies to get a second opinion on a hard-to-diagnose problem. Ameri-Cal was the only company that messaged or called me back! The technician, Alex, was very thorough and professional. Even though the first company I had look for the problem had already gone down under the house, he still offered to go down, and found the problem, which was much more simple to repair than I was expected. They saved me thousands of dollars. Thank you!

Dlspeake I recently had Amer-cal Repipe our home, very professional installation, very reasonable prices. Good job on patching the holes although a little rushed. My only issue with the whole job was the cleanup after patching, using a wet mop on laminate flooring is never a good idea. I would recommend this company

Call this company on Wednesday and got an appt. for Fri. 9:30-10:30. Their technician, Ryan Fabros, arrived promptly at 9:30 and quickly figured out the source of our leak. He called the company, got permission to go and get the part he needed, was back at our house in 15 minutes and repaired the leak very quickly! Because we were repeat customers they gave us a price discount and the service could not have been better! Very impressed and will definitely recommend this company and use them in the future!

Our 1950's home needed a repipe due to low water pressure and yellowing of hot water coming from our original galvanized iron pipes. After reading all the positive reviews on Yelp, I decided to call Ameri-Cal for a free estimate. I scheduled an estimate and Paul was our representative. Paul took the time to explain the process, plan and the materials to be used. Paul provided genuine customer service and was generous in answering all questions and concerns I had. He offered a competitive bid and I felt comfortable offering the work to Paul and Ameri-Cal.

We chose Uponor PEX over copper due to price. The repipe took 1 day, next was inspection and third day involved patching. The work crew covered all the inside of my house with plastic sheathing and paper on the floors and made sure to minimize the mess. The crew worked hard and efficiently to get the job done right. They also answered my questions and concerns. Overall, I am satisfied with the whole process and how things turned out. The crew paid attention to details and did a great job overall which I appreciated most. From start to finish, we are happy with the service and experience with Ameri-Cal. If you are in need of a repipe, call Ameri-Cal first before you consider other companies. I highly recommend Ameri-Cal for your repipe needs.

Did have to call back several times with problems/concerns, but customer service was fantastic. They responded quickly and efficiently. November 2015 we experience our first 2 slab leaks and had those repaired by a reputable plumber but if only we knew what was ahead of us!!! Mid March 2016 we have another more serious pine hole leak causing huge amounts of damage. It was time to recipe and get this behind us!!! After getting several quotes we decided to go with America-Cal for several reasons, their quick response to get someone out for the estimate, same day! Paul was great explained the whole process very clearly and followed up with a complete and detailed estimate some of the other estimates we received left a lot to be desired as regards to complete scope of work...
The crew arrived on time, got to work immediately on covering floors etc, completed to repiping in one day as promised and did a good job cleaning up. Day 2 City Inspector came out and commented on this being one of the nicest jobs he'd seen!!!! There was a small issue with an area in our Bonus Room were there was sheer sheet and informed me he would need to come back and inspect that area again before they could patch it. Toby called me the following day to confirm that the drywall and patch was scheduled and that the sheer sheet issue would be addressed also which it was and the City Inspector passed it no problem. Toby then sent out one of their drywall/patch guys to complete the job.
Our recipe took an additional day due to the sheer sheet issue but America-Cal came thru with flying colors and I must say in closing they do a very good job of patching, I'm a bit of a perfectionist so that was very important to me. I would highly recommend this company theirs guys do excellent work..

Once that once complete, the drywall team did a great job patching up any holes and matching textures we had in the house. During COVID, we had a series of pinhole leaks that occurred almost every week. Originally hoping to repipe after the lockdown, we finally made the decision to repipe after shelling out $$$ fixing leak after leak. Toby was extremely helpful and can't say we'd done this without him. Talking about going ABOVE and BEYOND: Toby took my wife and I through the entire process especially during this time of lockdowns. He got us a great price that included drywall (not many places offer this end to end service all-in), negotiated on our behalf a competitive price with Asbestos test from many other places until he got us the cheapest price (he didn't have to do this but did it on our behalf), got the necessary permit filed with our city which was a slow process not to anyone's fault because of COVID, and always follow up with us on progress and updates. For homeowners not familiar with this whole permitting process and what to do, Toby was always a step ahead and cleared the path. Led by Alfonso, the repiping work was professional. Everyone wore masks and was very careful. Like you'll see in other reviews pictures, very clean job and very well done. We decided on PEX pipes and the installation was done in a day. No problems, they've done so many of these I think they can do it with eyes closed. Drywall team came after our inspection passed and they're like artists. Detailed and even textured our walls and the color blended so well we don't even have to paint! In the end, the job was so clean it's like nothing happened! I will definitely recommend Ameri-Cal, and again, a special shout out to both Toby and Alfonso for making our first repiping experience a very pleasant one. This could've been a disaster experience had we went with other companies or plumbers especially during COVID. Thank you!

What a great company! I have used their services for multiple tasks at my house and they always exceed my expectations.

On the first major task, I had a major blockage in my toilet. I had called another company to come out and snake it, which they did and got their oger stuck. Which meant they now had to pull my toilet(which of course had a cost even though it was their issue) and they let me know I had to pretty much break concrete and walls and repipe all of it. They gave me a quote, which was extremely high! I got a second quote from another plumbing company that was pretty much the same. Then came Ameri-Cal. They came down the same day, assessed the situation, let me know everything they needed to do(which was the same as all the other guys) but then quoted me 30% lower! I was sold! They did an absolutely fantastic job and in a timely manner. Couldn't be happier with their service.

Next came a slab leak in my garage. My first call was to Ameri-Cal. They came by and gave me great advise and let me know all my options. They landed up re-routing my line, which they did extremely quickly even when finding out they had to re route 2 different sections(because my house is old and plumbed oddly) and they didn't charge me a dollar more. Since they had to make quite a few cuts in the stucco and drywall, they had one of their guys come out the very next day to do all the patch work. He was there all day but his work shows that he knows what he was doing and takes pride in making sure it looks perfect. Extremely Happy with all of the work(and there was a lot of it) They made sure they covered everything and cleaned up at the end, didn't even look like someone was there.

Last, both bathroom sinks were clogged to no end and would not drain at all! Once again they assessed the situation and gave me a few options. I landed up jetting the lines, which they did a fantastic job at. Everything works properly! They even went the extra mile and stuck a camera down the main, just to make sure that was all clear. They showed me exactly where some minor roots were, and the view down to the sewer just to show everything else was clear.

This guys are extremely professional, polite and know what they are doing. They are not there to try and con you into other services, they tell it like it is. And even better, the original quote they had given me was spot on, even though there was extra work for them to do I did not get charged. I think it was one of the first times I was quoted and it actually came in at the same price with no surprises!

Ameri-cal was a life saver.

After trying to use a plumber (Ford Plumbing) to try and repair a leak under a wall and slab, we realized we made a big mistake using a standard Plumber for this repair.

We meet with several other plumbers to get us out of this mess. Most recommended a Re-pipe specialist. These companies do it day and night and have great experience.

We settled on Ameri-cal Repipe and are very glad we did! Very profession, fast, experience. The job is big, cutting into walls, ceilings, rerunning hot and cold copper, connecting or installing new fixtures, repatching, etc.

They were very accommodating, including helping to install fixtures. We had 3 bathrooms, a water heater, Washer Dryer, Kitchen, 5 outdoor faucets, two showers, two tubs, a guest bathroom, etc. And they made it all work. One day for the install, and one day to finish and make it paint ready. House was clean and back to order nicely. They were safe and clean.

The quote crew is different than the work crew, so make sure all the details are in the contract.

I would use them again.

Work was done in July of 2015, and the re pipe has been working great!

I did a lot of research and not only did Ameri-Cal have the best customer satisfaction it had the best price. They were in and out in 2 days. One day for the plumbing and another day for the re-patch. The plastering company also did the whole back on my garages for pennies compared to the other quotes I go. Paul, the person who gave me the quote, answered my texts at 9pm and immediately addressed any questions or concerns I had. Of the 4 people I had give me a quote, Paul was the nicest and didn't deviate from the estimate he gave on the phone and was in and out in 15 minutes. Paul was very professional and didn't push me to do anything. If you're doing a repipe, this is your company!

We just finished whole house repipe by Ameri-Cal and could not happier and would like to share with others like us who may need the same service. All went smoothly, starting from estimate to repiping, patching and receiving thE receipt. Everybody was very responsive and kept all communications current. Paul came for an estimate, Alsonso led a group of four for repiping, Jorge for patching and Joyce of accounting and Ryan in the Office. Just everybody was super. Repiping group worked very cleanly and organized. Jorge of Jorge Morales Plastering of LA was really super and finished all holes as if nothing happened. We recommend very highly of this company and these cited people would serve you well. The reason we picked this company was first they were highly rated on Yelp and secondly they only have four teams as compared to some others who have ten or more.

close to 5 stars if their drywall and stucco guys were better. Alex's crew were great and friendly. top notch in customer service. Francisco and Alex were the best. they covered a lot of things but took it down way too early, even as the other guys were working. dust got everywhere. I'd give the pex installation team a 9.8/10.

Paul V was the estimator that came out and he was friendly and straight forward. We didn't shop around but thought the price was fair.

Day two, the drywall/stucco guys came and barely covered anything. our furniture got super dusty. beds, TVs, kitchen counter, clothes, etc. I'd give them a 6/10. I'd give their drywall and stucco work a 9/10 but they're extremely sloppy with everything else so I'd give them a 6/10 overall.

They left hard stucco on our new valves, smeared wet textured walls and dust everywhere. there was a piece of tape on the wall that they didn't bother removing. they textured over it and it had to be removed after the fact so now that area has no texture. their shirts said call Sergio for questions, but I didn't want them to get mad at us and take it out on the job. we had to go in and remove extra compound that had dried all over our new faucets, sinks, wires, and hoses. we had to sweep up a lot of stucco they left behind. they washed their hands and tools in our bathroom sinks and the sink was full of mortar which they just flushed down the drain.

with multiple properties, we're considering trying out other companies before using them again. again, Paul, Alex and the crew, especially Francisco were top notch. drywall/stucco guys need to be retrained.

Just wanted to thank Toby and his crew at Americal Plumbing for their great work with the Pex re-piping of my condo. For the longest time our community has been plagued with slab leaks and pin hole leaks. Our HOA was finally able to get a concensus vote to re-pipe all the units in our condo complex, Chandon in Laguna Niguel. Our board interviewed several plumbing contractors and I am glad they decided to go with Americal. It has been great working with Toby and his crew, they have been very efficient and clean on the job site. I was surprised how fast they were able to re-pipe my 1200 sq. ft condo, it was completed in 2 days. They actually repiped 3 adjacent units together within 2 days. It was nice that they also coordinated with the city inspector. The whole process went smoothly. I had a few minor issues come up and Toby was great in resolving these problems. Slab leak. Called several different plumbers and repipe specialists. We decided to do a full repipe for our triplex. Toby called and asked to earn our business. Long story short... repipe was done in 1 day. $2000 cheaper. Drywall was amazing, Carlos and his crew did magic. Passed inspection no problem. Told them I was getting the money together from the bank, they said no problem. Didn't charge anything upfront. Sent the full payment today. No stress, no inconvenience. Great experience with our repipe here two years ago. Just recently, we had been having some drainage issue with one of our toilets, but since it wasn't repipe related, I called a different plumber to come out and snake the drain. They ended up finding a piece of pex piping lodged in the toilet drain that must have been down there since the repipe. I was about to suck it up and pay the $350 to get it fixed, when I thought to call Ameri-Cal. They were so incredibly helpful and apologetic and reimbursed me for the bill! Instead of a review, here is a letter that I sent to my HOA;

I just wanted to convey some positive feedback about the repipe work going
on around the community, as I am sure mostly only negative feedback ever
comes back! In any case, my experience has only been positive and I would
like to share. Firstly, having dealt with a few leaks at my unit, I realized
the importance of having this work done. Yes it is a pain for a few days,
but at least you can plan for it, unlike a slab or pinhole leak! Toby has
worked hard in what must be a thankless task in getting people organized for
this, but he worked with us and got us on a schedule, with us and our
neighbors. Everything about the process was explained well, and I also had
an extra walk through with Alex who was first class, explaining everything
in more detail. The day of the repipe went perfectly, they arrived on time
and did a great job of covering up and treating our home with dignity. After
the job Alex walked through all the improvements with us and gave us some
tips. The inspection went ahead the next day as promised, and Toby got the
plasterers working on my unit today as he was well aware of my children's
difficulties with dust allergies. We appreciate the speed in which this has
taken place and will allow us to get back into the house and back to
'normal' as soon as possible to help us minimize the disruption to our young
kids. Overall we are very happy in what at best is a difficult but essential
improvement to our homes! We appreciate the work the Americal Team has done
and thank the HOA for bringing a quality company on board to get this
essential work for everybody done.

This company came highly recommended, i called and a gentleman by the name of Paul showed up .
He's exceptionally professional, friendly, & courteous. He looked at the leak at my place and emailed a quote the next day.
Even though we got lower quotes from other companies for similar job, i decided to go with Paul.
Now that the repiping with PEX has been completed, i must say Im completely satisfied.

I got quotes from 3 other re-pipe plumber companies and ameri-cal was by far the best priced. They were also the only company that included the wall patching in their quote. They came in and had the whole copper re-pipe done in one day, then came back the next day and patched everything up. Well the day arrive when it happened water was not coming in and if it did it was in small amounts. I began doing some research. . We used Ameri-Cal Repipe after we experienced a slab leak. The estimator Paul arrived as scheduled and gave us a fair free estimate. The plumbers arrived as scheduled and Carlos was the main plumber, he explained what the process was going to be and where the holes were needed for the repipe. His team came in and put down plastic to cover the floors and funiture. The repipe was completed in one day for a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house. Their work was professional and cleaned up after the repipe was completed. The city permit inspection went smooth and the next day the drywall repair team showed up as scheduled and again put down plastic everywhere they needed to work. They repaired all the holes in one day and worked profesionally and cleaned up after they were done. I would have no reservations to reconment Ameri-Cal Repipe they did a awsome job!

To say that I was completely satisfied with my experience with this company is an understatement. I will tell you why. The hubs and I bought a fixer upper about 6 years ago, with all the best laid plans to renovate quickly and relatively painlessly. Well, like I said, that was 6 years ago. We are finally in the ending stages of the process, with several projects on the docket and finally have the money to do them. After a pretty dismal experience with our painting company, I was leery about hiring professionals, feeling that all they do is lie in order to get your trust and money, only to screw you over, leaving you wanting for real communication, good work ethic, and a little honesty.
A full re-pipe was in the plans and the hubs met with 3 different companies to get bids. The prices were pretty equitable, so we were going to discuss the pros and cons over the weekend and make our decision and hopefully start the process in a couple of weeks. Well, you know how it goes. The house had other plans. On a Friday morning, our neighbor woke us up reporting water spouting from under the house. Yep, a busted water main. You've got to be kidding me. We called a plumber, who came out right away and wanted to charge us $3000.00 to replace it. Um...thanks but no thanks. The next call was to Ameri-Cal, who the hubs had met with a couple days prior to bid on the re-pipe. They had someone out a few hours later. On a Friday. Guess who got the job? From the beginning, the guys they brought in were nice, professional, and hard working. Two managers came out that day to check on the process. They were able to give us water in time for the weekend and they were able to complete the re-pipe the following Tuesday. It was completed in one day. Several workers were out for 10 hours doing the job. The next day was a holiday, so the inspector couldn't come out until Thursday. Ameri-Cal arranged that with the city, along with all the permits. The patch guy came out on Thursday also and completed his part in one day. He did a great job patching all the damaged areas from the re-pipe. Very clean and professional work. They did everything they said they would do, when they said they would do it, and maintained regular communication with the hubs on progress or potential issues. Wow, professionals who actually act professionally. Imagine that.
Thank you Ameri-Cal for making a potentially very stressful situation much less so and for restoring my faith in the construction community. All of my recommendations will go to you.

Alberto performed excellent service. The office gave me a very fair quote based on the pictures I sent and he stuck to the original price when he came onsite. Alberto worked with my schedule which I only have afternoon due to work. I showed him the pipes and he went right to work and showed me afterwards exactly what he fixed and compared it to the old corroded pipe that he replaced. And he tested that the pipes were dry and no longer leaking before he left.

Great! We had just moved into our new home and we found out there was a water hammer the inspector missed. It kept getting worse and worse and was wrecking my nerves. We had two other plumbers who could not pin point the problem. The other plumbers were trying to break in through the upstairs outer wall. However, these guys came and pin pointed the problem which was actually downstairs. One hole was made inside and patched up the next day! No more noise. Fixed at a decent price. They also fixed out water pressure. Always get multiple opinions because pipe work is different than routine plumbing (clogs and such).

We just bought a 40 yr old home that had original copper plumbing. The original owners had a lot of plumbing issues leading up to big insurance claims making it difficult for us to find an insurance co willing to insure us. We decided to go ahead and repipe before moving in. We got another specialist to give us a quote- Repipe 1. Word around town is that they do the most repiping in the OC area. But we were looking for a personable company too. Therefore we decided to go with Americal and we are so glad we did! Jonathan from Americal came out ON TIME to give us a free estimate. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Whatever questions we didn't realize to ask he answered via text and call later. He gave us a package deal and was very flexible. We really appreciated that. The crew of 6 or so also arrived ON TIME and got the repiping done in 1 day on a Friday. After inspection the following Monday they finished the repatch work in 1 day as well. They also kindly replaced our kitchen faucet at no additional charge. The foreman was very nice and didn't mind one of us hovering to ask questions. All in all we had a good time working with each person from this company. Highly recommend Americal!

After finding out about we had slabs leaks in our home I went online and found Ameri-Cal Repipe through Yelp having excellent ratings. Gave them a call and Paul was out here in the area and stopped by within the hour. He explained the process and gave me a quote that seemed to be suspiciously low compared to what others told me what it would cost. Now that it is all over with I can see why this company has excellent ratings here on Yelp.

The repipe crew lead by Jorge the foreman came in Monday morning and masked the whole house creating plastic barriers that kept the dust from spreading through our two story home. The tiled floors were covered with paper and the carpeted areas with tarp. Once the prep was taken care of they got to work! And I mean they got to work! By the end of the day they were done repiping with Pex and the water was back on.

Tobi took over from there and had the inspector here the next day. The inspector came in and looked at their work and said good to go. The inspector even made a comment about this company's great work.

On Thursday and Friday the drywall team came in and patched everything making it hard to tell where the holes were. In a week's time Ameri-Cal came through and completed their work.

In the middle of all this we did develop a leaking faucet and Paul sent a plumber out the next day to fix this minor problem. All around great service!

After having the painters come in and do their work, it's like it never happened. Had the final inspection today with a different inspector who had nothing but positive comments regarding this company's work. With that said, I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing to replace your copper piping. Fantastic work Ameri-Cal!

Poor customer service and poor quality of work. I had them repipe my entire home. After they repiped my home there's annoying gulping sounds whenever I use the bathroom sink. Toby refuses to take responsibility of this issue despite the fact that this was never an issue prior to them repiping the home. I would avoid them! I called this company due to their excellent reviews on yelp but it seems most must be fake. Not recommended to use them.

I called and talked to Tobi on December 18 Wednesday, the weekend before I had to leave town for Christmas. I had a water leak and was wondering how to handle it? Tobi said no problem we will do it all on Friday, December 20th. They came at 8 am and by 4:30 they had done the whole repipe and had the water back on (3 bedroom house). We were so relieved (imagine our stress). After we came back in January, they arranged for inspection. I rarely write reviews but Ameri-Cal did such a wonderful job that I wanted to share my experience to hopefully help if you have leaks in the house. Many thanks to Toby, Gabriel & repipe team, Ricardo & drywall team and especially Issac for fixing the shower valve. I feel lucky to have come across such a great company that does a fantastic job and truly takes care of its customers! If there is time please read the summary below.

I had a slab leak in the garage in a 14 year old house. After researching the internet, I had the option of Epoxy the section, re-route to bypass the section, or repipe the whole house. Almost every company I spoke with recommended repipe because of reasons like inferior copper, water contaminants, and possible recurring leaks elsewhere later. After deciding on repipe, the next question is which material to use: Copper or PEX? Again after research, both systems are good, it comes down to preferring Coke vs. Pepsi, It's whichever system you're more comfortable with. Toby recommended PEX and I'm very happy with it. The hot water comes on quicker and lasts longer, and the plastic smell disappears after a few weeks. Ameri-Cal repiped my house in a day, and Gabriel & team started around 7:30 am stayed until 10 pm to finish the job on a Friday night! On Monday morning it passed City inspection and Ricardo's drywall team came in a patched up the whole house in 2 days. The team did such a great job that I can't even tell where the sections were cut. The exterior stucco had some texture mismatch, and Toby promptly sent out someone to fix it and now it looks great. Finally I had a shower valve that I inadvertently broke off the stem and was stuck and in dire straits, and again Toby was able to send in Issac to pull out the stuck valve and only charged $75 dollars. We had many companies provide consultations and Ameri-Cal was by far the most knowledgeable with competitive prices. We live in Anaheim Hills for reference. They were strictly repipe and that's what we needed.

Paul is awesome and so knowledgeable. He was always available to answer my many random calls of questions b4 choosing to go with them. My husband felt he was genuine upon meeting him and wanted to go with him immediately. I contemplated between another company and when I told that other choice about Ameri-cal, he even admit they were great and had the best prices in town due to being so busy and equipped with many crews.

Our repipe team was lead by Carlos- they were amazing, respectful and he's a young family man. We always appreciate the hardworking family oriented people. Our City Inspector said they did a great job.

Our patch and texture team was fantastic! This team was lead by Philip- they took such pride in their work. All the painting companies we had give us quotes to repaint their patch and texture work gave compliments on their skills and said usually they see a bad job of so-called patch/texture after a repipe but that we had a real professional job. This meant we didn't have to pay extra to redo anything to blend in with our existing walls.

We highly recommend Ameri-Cal. They were fast, efficient, used quality material and have excellent employees. Our work was done up until the day b4 Thanksgiving. Thank you Ameri-Cal!

I hired Ameri-Cal Re-pipe to PEX re-pipe my townhome in Placenita. They responded well and came out and re-piped the home, repaired the walls, and cleaned up. I was initially happy with the work and even referred a few more clients to them. I recently had to open the walls due to my neighbors plumbing leak and discovered some errors and poor pipe routing. I contacted America-Cal three different times and they never responded. I was even willing to pay they if I had to just to get the work done. I finally hired Tom's Plumbing Service to come make the corrections that Ameri-Cal Repipe never responded to. Needless to say I will never use this company again and will not recommend them to my clients again.

We used Americal at our older home in Meredith Gardens in Huntington Beach a few years ago and these guys did an outstanding job! Toby was very helpful throughout the process keeping me informed. We bought a townhome in Fountain Valley recently and were doing some remodeling and decided to repipe before laying down wood floors. Once again these guys were very thourough and left everything clean. This company is very professional from sales, plumbers, and patch crew! Awesome...

Getting a slab leak is never fun, and to make it worse we got one a week before my daughters wedding. With company coming to stay at our home, we needed the extra bathroom and couldn't wait to repipe after the wedding. A friend of ours used Ameri Cal and recommended them. We interviewed about four companies and also like Ameri Cal so we went with them

They understood our tight schedule and Paul made it happen. The 1st day a crew of eight came in and knocked out the re piping. They did an excellent job of putting plastic up and cleaned up when they left. The next day the inspector came by and passed us. The 3rd and 4th days the crew came in to patch and spray the drywall. The house was a mess (unavoidable) but they cleaned everything up when they left. Our wedding company arrived the same day they finished and couldn't tell anyone had been in our home! They were amazing!
One problem was they had to dig up a small tree in the front to run the pipe. They replanted it but it immediately died. I contacted Paul and told him about it. He said to replace it and to send him the bill and they would pay for it. That's exactly what they did, not a single problem from them

Paul made a miserable situation as pleasant as possible. Thankfully our home will never have another slab leak, but I highly recommend Ameri Cal for any one who needs to have their home re piped. A+!

It has taken me one whole year to decompress before writing a review about my second house pex pipe install to prevent anger reviews. Some
Background: I had my first one story house re piped with lex with this company. Paul came out for intisl appointment. Reviewed how the process would go and the patching aftermath. Moving along... Gilbert was the Foreman and supervised the entire project and it went beautifully. Due to my great experience the first time, I came to them again when I bought my two story house.

Paul came. Checked it out and provided me an emailed estimate, nice and easy. Cool, going as planned. Then the not so fun stuff started to happen. Carlos was the Foreman this time. Very nice. Appeared professional and easy to take to. The work was done quickly which I liked but then after checking at night, it was one problem after the other. I literally had over 25 emails back and forth with problems and scheduling repairs through the office. Someone cut an electrical wire so my upstairs bedroom lights went out after hole cutting. They tried to say it was already like that but I told them no. It was not. They got an electrician to open the wall after patching and then fix again. Then, we had a horrible sewer smell coming out of the laundry room. Come to find the unprofessional care of exposed piping draining into the laundry pipe. Exposed without cover. They came back for that. Then my tankless water heater was leaking in my garage, the exhaust pipe I should say. Carlos then said I couldn't vent out from the roof like my old traditional water heater. Another hole punched to the front porch siding which now spits out hot water intermittently. Glad no one had gotten burned yet. Poor aesthetics where seals were done. Then some time later, I wanted to switch out my tub surround for my kids room, when they removed the tub, there wasn't even pex piping done where there should have been. I called the company again and had them come do the job they promised a couple months back which was not done. Endless calls, conversations with the office men was very stressful. It was to the point of crying. I am sure the feeling of annoyance of receiving and making the call for me was mutual. I appreciated the office staff still answering despite of my horrible experience and pissed off attitude due to frustration and exhaustion. Who would have thought this project would turn into a nightmare.

You ask, did they fix everything that was wrong? Yes, they did. However, it was a very long process with a lot of emails and calls. Schedules and re checks which made the entire experience a bad one.

If you were to ask if I would hire them for this, I would say unless Gabriel is the one in charge, NO. Big money spent for under par service. Again, I feel it is related to inexperienced foreman of someone who is just too over confident and ends up making lots of boo boos trying to cut corners. Sorry Ameri-Cal, this will be our final job with you.

This company did a great job! They were right on schedule just as they promised. They protected our belongings and cleaned up after themselves. Their drywall guys are so good that we can't even see where the large holes in our walls and ceilings were. We do recommend staying elsewhere for a couple of nights if dust and open walls will bother you. It's difficult to be there during the process, but well worth it when the work is finished. We chose them because they did a great job at our daughter's house, had great Yelp reviews, and their estimate was $1100 less than the company our neighbors used!

My wife and I recently had our house re-piped and did our due diligence as far as getting two other quotes from already reputable businesses found in Yelp and on Angie's List. All three companies were very professional and for the most part priced about the same. Why did we choose Ameri-Cal? For one thing, the five star rating on Yelp with over fifty reviews. That in itself is very telling. The other thing is that we weren't oversold the process. Paul was our salesman and he did a terrific job explaining the entire process (without dissing any other company, which the other two kind of took jabs at each other - friendly competition I guess). Toby was the office guy and he was pretty awesome too. Alex was the job foreman and he was spectacular. The entire team that worked with Alex were personable, professional and pleasant. What they do is not easy or is it glamorous and it was pretty hot the days they worked. They kept the house clean and respected that it was our home. The drywall and re-texturing team was pretty darn talented. There are some spots where you can hardly tell anything was done and we haven't even painted yet. When you first see the holes they start making to do the re-pipe, you are questioning the process, but as explained, it all was buttoned up tight and made to look right. We highly recommend Ameri-Cal for your re-piping needs.

Xlnt service, Paul came and gave me an estimate to relocate the main supply line and several pipes under the slab.
These guys came in $1800 cheaper then the last quote I got.
Jorge and his helper did and xlnt job, nest, clean, after they finished they tested every faucet, shower valve to make sure we has no issues.

Americal Repiped two of my condos in February. All work was done efficiently, clean, and to the highest standards. The drywall was also repaired expertly. Toby orchestrated all appts, workers, and explanations of the work procession. He was extremely professional and thorough and always responded to my phone calls immediately. I pulled quotes from at least 5 different repipe specialists before I decided to go for Ameri-Cal. Amazingly 2 other repipe specialists did not even give quote.

Ameri-Cal is fair in their pricing and their location best suits my home. They use best material and have top notch crew.

They did the following for my 2500sqft home
1. Copper Repipe with patch and texture
2. Gas line extension to Kitchen and Dryer
3. Install new Water Heater
4. Install Toilet
5. Install all new Shower Faucet

Big thanks to Toby who was involved through out the negotiation and execution process. Alex was present through out the installation to answer any questions. William showed up in the evening for inspection and meet an greet. What an awesome team!!, I felt like a king customer.

Copper work was done on day one.
Gas work was done on day two.
Patching was taking longer then expected on day three, but they pulled teams from all over the place and get it done by evening.

Home was left in clean condition as if nothing happened.

Best part is availability and communication with Toby. I was in constant touch with him via Texting and he would reply within 5 minutes for any question or concerns to my satisfaction.

I will refer these guys to anybody anyday.

This is my second 5-star review. Five years ago I gave them one after they repiped our home. Fabulous service! Yesterday we discovered a leak coming from an upstairs guest bathroom and we called them and they showed up within hours. Turns out it had nothing to do with their repipe job, but instead a drain issue from an improperly installed toilet. After they quickly determined the cause, they were able to fix the problem quickly and at a fair price. Again their employees were sweet, polite and efficient and cleaned up everything. I highly recommend this company.

They repiped two of my houses. One was copper and the other was PEX. Toby was very responsive and provided excellent customer service. If there was an issue, he quickly took care of the problems.

It took a day to repipe and the dry wall guys came back to patch up the dry wall after it passed inspection.

Recently, we hired Ameri-Cal to do my house re-pipe, install new toilets, garage disposal and replaced drain pipe.
Jon service manager good customer service and follow up schedules and communicate with us very well. Re-pipe team Santiago and his group nice guys, Jamie and Robert came next day to continue work on our home. They're very professional. They cleaned up the mess and didn't leave any trash behind. Dry wall team came in following day everything finished on time. We're happy with their service.

I message Ameri-Cal yesterday and got a call early this morning from Paul. We agreed to meet at 5:30pm after my work schedule which was great. Paul came to my house within the window time frame he had mention. He came in and we did a walk through of the house so he can get a layout. He provided me with two estimate for PEX pipe which is supposedly the new option to cut cost whole still providing exceptional solution to replacing copper. It can only be used indoor since plastic can be affected by exterior conditions. I also did some research and found a plumber from San Diego California mentioning that he recommends going with PEX too because nowadays the copper has been recycled and overtime the material is not pure copper which can easily be corroded much faster especially with the additives that changes the water pH balance. The PEX carries a 25 year warranty with workmanship from Ameri-Cal. Overall great experience with Paul. I have a feel more appointments, but Ameri-Cal was first in my list and will probably be the one I'm going to go with.

I had two major pin hole water leaks in my house over the last 3 years. It is a colossal pain in the butt and expensive. I decided last fall that I was going to do something about it and checked with a local plumber who never seemed committed to doing the job. After months of back and forth with the plumber, I gave up and didn't do anything for several months.

Then serendipity happened. I got a postcard from the plumbing company that repaired my pin hole leaks. I called them and we talked about about repiping our house. That company was very professional and said they would recommend Americal as they do it for a cost that they can't come close to and said Americal was a very good company. He also said there was a company named E-Pipe that used a different approach where they coated the existing pipes and that eliminated the risk of pin hole leaks.

I got bids from both Americal and E-Pipe and was pleased with both sales people. However, I thought Paul with Americal was better. I was stunned when I got the bid from E-Pipe as it was over $2000 more for coating the pipes (with little intrusive work) than Americal was for replacing all of the pipes. I decided to go with Americal. Before installation I was really dreading the uproar that would occur. The installation and patchwork went MUCH better than I dreaded.

I had minor follow-up issues that were handled promptly and courteously. I had great service from Joyce who I believe is well positioned in the company to deal with customers with the administrative side of the work. I thank her very much for her professionalism and really liked her!

I also thank Toby and Victor for their professionalism and their customer service attitude. By the way, this is the first Yelp review I have ever done and that is because Americal is a great company and I highly recommend them.

Going with Ameri-cal Repipe & Plumbing was a great decision for the work we needed in our new home! Roberto was able to come out for a free estimate and do the job within 2 days! Also, the responsiveness as far as all my questions and concerns was exceptional. On top of everything, they even were kind enough to do extra work at no cost, for service we planned to do in the future! After getting 2 hot water slab leaks within a year, we decided to re-pipe the house. I had a hard time getting plumbers to come out and provide estimates. I called Ameri-Cal Repipe and Toby came out on a Sunday to provide an estimate. They provided a very reasonable price. They started the job on Thursday and had the entire house re-piped by the end of the day. They put up tons of plastic and drop cloths to protect my home and they cleaned up everything when they were done. The drywall guy came the following Monday after the city permit inspector passed the work on Friday. He did a great job patching up and re-texturing the ceiling and walls. He also used a lot of plastic and drop cloths to protect my home and cleaned up everything when he left. All of the employees I interacted with were super nice! I highly recommend this company!

We needed to have our 1900 sq. ft. home re-piped stat, after several leaks, both pin-hole pipe leaks and slab leak. We had our home on the market, and had to pull it off to take care of this problem. Time was critical, and we needed a completely professional job.

Ameri-Cal's reviews were so stellar, we were a little skeptical. But they completely lived up to all the superlatives. If only all contractors were this good...everything was as promised. Toby should teach Customer Service - if he didn't pick up his phone immediately, we never waited long for a call back.

Crews were punctual, organized, cleaned up after the work, took away all the refuse. Re-pipe foreman Alex was excellent, and the patching crews were good. Calls were made for city inspection as promised, so there were no delays. Both city inspectors who came out were complimentary of the work. Patch and texture work was done very well.

If we knew then what we know now, we would have called Ameri-Cal after our first leak, years ago. The cost of the re-pipe pales in comparison with what we spent in fixing all the leaks, and we would have been spared a lot of grief.

During all the work, the guys took great care in hanging vinyl drapes to contain the dust as much as possible, but be warned - you will have massive clean-up to do afterward. We had air-ducts cleaned, deep (post-construction) housecleaning, painting of patched areas, carpet cleaning. But it's worth it for the peace of mind - 25 year warranty on the PEX, lifetime warranty on the work. We can't recommend Amer-Cal too highly!

I got referred to Paul at Ameri-Cal and I couldn't be more satisfied! After interviewing several different repipe companies I'm so glad we chose Ameri-cal! Paul answered all our questions and was very knowledgable about the whole process which made me feel more comfortable. Toby came by to do the walk through before starting the work and he was extremely informative and thorough so we would know exactly what to expect. They were the only company that said they could get the repipe done in one day and they so we weren't inconvenienced. They also did an amazing job patching the walls. I thought I had a very expensive leak under the slab of my garage.
Bryan arrived on time and instead of just going right to work, he asked me more detailed questions to better determine my problem. After further investigating & digging deeper into the problem and without an expensive camera exam, we discovered that it was not under the slab but an underground water pipe leak alongside the slab that ran to a hose spigot. Since we never use the spigot, I told Bryan to just plug it off.
He did and everything is now ok. Quick and inexpensive.

Great service, Great knowledge, Bryan was very courteous.
Most important, they didn't try to sell me any more expensive services.

This is my new home plumber!

I would highly recommend Ameri-Cal Repipe & Plumbing to anyone who is looking for complete repiping. The whole process was very quick and professional, working with Paul who came out for the initial estimate, working with Toby who coordinated everything for us including the abatement company we needed to cut the walls that had asbestos with Micheal's help, the foreman Carlos and his team of plumbers who were very thorough and conscientious with keeping the carpets clean and covered during the repiping and completed the repiping of the entire house within less than 8 hours, which was amazing considering the huge job they had on their hands - redoing a disaster repipe job done by a different plumbing company. Jonathan and his team did a beautiful job with the drywall. The city inspection passed as everything was up to code! I would definitely recommend this company to all my friends and family!

William from Ameri-Cal Repipe came out to our house to give an inspection on a slab leak in the kitchen area . He recommending using pex piping on the re-pipe . He told me he repiped his house with pex piping and I thought being a plumber company owner using that type of piping on his own house then that was the ticket .

William told me the job would take for the re-pipe one day . Roughly 2 weeks ago my doorbell rang and one of the plumbers showed up, I was impressed because they were about 30 minutes early . Within minutes a crew of 5 to 6 guys showed up to do the job. It was amazing to watch the guys prepare, each person had their own job to do and William and the supervisor Alex were there to oversee the workers do their jobs .

We also had a new water heater installed because the other one we had was getting old . All the work was done in a professional manner, all of the guys were so polite and they all knew their craft . After the guys did the re-pipe the county inspector came by the next day to look at the work and passed with no problem . The following day two gentleman came to do the patchwork and they also did a superb job .

Needless to say we are very pleased at the work that was done for us from Ameri - Cal Re-Pipe. Although we did get a quote from our insurance company's plumber, to us they were a joke and this is no laughing matter . Good job from Ameri - Cal Repipe & Plumbing!

They were efficient , on time and always within reach via text , email or phone. What I loved most was finding a company that still operates with integrity . After two slab leaks in 12 months we decided to re-pipe. We interviewed three companies that specialize in re-piping with both copper and PEX. We chose to go with Ameri-Cal for the following reasons:
1. Most thorough explanation of process with samples of valves, pipe & workmanship
2. Straightforward pricing - no high price with discounts for booking now
3. Felt comfortable with William

The actual work went as scheduled with seven guys re-piping the house on Tuesday, city inspector on Wednesday and drywall repair on Thursday. All the guys were polite and cleaned up after themselves - this is a messy process!

Customer service at Ameri-Cal was very prompt and responsive. Overall, we are very pleased with the process and with Ameri-Cal and recommend them highly.

After our 4th slab leak in 5 years, our insurance company told us to re-pipe in 12 months or lose our HO Insurance. YIKES, but what can you do? When we had our 5th slab leak during that year, we got VERY busy looking for a trustworthy company with GREAT pricing. Sounds impossible? NO! It's AMERI-CAL! These guys gave us a quote over $1000 lower than the next lowest company. They did the whole job in a day, cleaned up after themselves, RE-TEXTURED the walls and ceilings (some other quotes clearly excluded that), and included a terrific warranty to top it off. They did GREAT follow-up returning promptly to take care of a little touch-up we all missed. The city inspector said HE was impressed. You can't go wrong with Ameri-Cal, but you can probably spend a lot more money if you go somewhere else.

Ameri-Cal is the best!

First off, 3 years ago I got a re-pipe. I quoted out 6 plumbers and Ameri-Cal was the lowest price by far. They actually did the repipe, city inspection and patch within 2 days. They took care of everything. I honestly was not inconvenienced at all. They worked fast and clean.

Next, last year I had a water main break in front of my house, under my driveway. My regular plumbers wouldnt/couldnt come out right away (it was 5 in the afternoon on a Friday), so I called Ameri-Cal. Isaac came out right away, turned off the water main and gave me my options. Their price was HALF of what my 3 other regular plumbers wanted. They came out early the next day (on the weekend) dug up my yard, fixed everything and cleaned up their work.

Finally, I recently had a terrible sink backup in the kitchen due to Christmas tamales (don't ask). My regular plumber came, but could not fix it. He said I needed the special hydro jetting for $650. WTF? I called Ameri-Cal and Isaac came out again within 30 minutes and cleared the line for around $100. I was not home to pay, so they just had me call in with payment after I verified that my family was happy with the job.

I learned my lesson. I thought Ameri-Cal was only good for large plumbing jobs, but they are awesome for the everyday jobs as well. I'm going to make them my new regular plumber.

We had our home repiped in August. Ameri-Cal was used by our meticulous neighbors. True paying for plumbing is never fun but they got the job done. It included patching and drywall repairs which was an important cost saving item. We live in a two story home.There as a maze of air conditioning to get around but the man in charge figured it out like a puzzle. At one point we had over forty holes but four months later the inconvenience and stress is a foggy memory.
I've just given their name to another neighbor I am pretty sure that they will do a good job for him as well.

Very pleased with the service we received from Ameri-Cal Plumbing. Paul was the sale rep. who came out to our home and gave me a few quotes pending on my our needs. He could have pushed more on us to make more money, but never got that impression. He was very fair and honest.

they did amazing jobs and gave me a good deal. I re-piped my whole house with Pex tubing. I love it. there is no vibrated sound when turn on water. I recommend whoever re-pipe their houses please use PEX tubing. Ameri-cal repipe and plumbing used all materials made in USA. that is the first thing I love it. From start to finish, they covered all furniture in the house.
after the team re-piped, next another team came to patch the cutting holes. they patched all the holes, you can't even tell the difference from before and after. They did a very good jobs. I love it.

America cal not only beat the rates but they were very professional and took to explain our option. They came on time and completed the task effectively. My experience with re-piping was bittersweet. My association recommended the re-piping just a week before Christmas. Terrible timing. 20 years of living had to be unpacked and moved within 24 hours, to ready the areas for cutting. It was very hard on me, as a homeowner. Americal did a great job, in spite of my anxiousness and frustration, during the entire process, at such an inopportune time. I appreciate all the work they did. I needed to go to work every day. Jonathan was great. As a project manager, he met with the city both times it was needed, so I did not have to leave work. It was hard enough to come home to such a mess every night. I didn't want to be home throughout the day anymore than absolutely necessary. The entire process was completed within one week and thanks to everyone's hard work, I survived the ordeal. I've noticed my hot water heats up a lot faster now and the toilets don't run as long.

Absolutely a fantastic experience. I received 3 estimates and Ameri-Cal was priced in the middle, but I was impressed with the detail that Paul gave when he estimated the job so I went with them and it was a great decision. From Day 1 with Alex and his crew of 12 they completed the repipe job in 1 day. They were clean, efficient, and extremely polite. Days 2 and 3 were drywall repair and Sergio and his team were absolute professionals. They did such a great job that our white ceilings already look like they were painted. They were clean, polite and did an unbelievable job. I must say that I was totally dreading the idea of repiping but Ameri-Cal made it as painless as possible. You would be crazy to use any other company to repipe!!!!

We had three quotes from different companies for our re-pipe project, Ameri-Cal was on the high end of the quotes, but it was highly recommended by a family friend, so we hired Ameri-Cal with high expectation. Now the project has been completed, we are very pleased with our choice of the contractor, they exceeded our expectation.
Their staff is very professional: the salesperson Paul is honest and he explained to us with all those details, and he also followed up with us through the duration of the project. Their office manager and the lady at the reception are efficient and friendly, and their crews did a good job.
We did find a little problem with the regulator, but they quickly came back to my house and fixed it. I appreciate their quick response to my call and to fix the problem right way.
Being a homeowner, I have hired many contractors, handymen for my house projects or repairs, as far as I can remember, the experience with Ameri-Cal is the best.

We had pinhole leaks that were driving us nuts! We had about 5 in a row and decided we needed to do something. We thought about doing the epoxy but decided to get a couple estimates for repiping. We had 3 estimates and Ameri-Cal Repipe and Plumbing was by far the best. Almost too good to be true- they patch all the holes when they are done w the repipe! They repiped our whole place with Pex pipes, we had water the same day. They arranged the permit process and then came in and patched everything for us in one day!! Patched and texturized the walls- all ready to paint! Paul came and gave us our estimate- he was friendly and helpful and answered all of our questions. Jonathan was really great about getting back to us right away and also responded to texts quickly. He was very helpful with the whole process. Ulysses and his repipe crew were awesome. We are just very pleased with the outcome and they made the experience very manageable. We totally recommend this company for a repipe! =)

I've never done a Yelp review but for this inquiry I had to. The first two plumbers came to my home to repair my restroom and they couldn't. The third one said I need to do a shower pipe repair but won't do it because of the liability. Their recommendation was to change the entire water system for 13k. I was about to do it but I wanted one more expert to view it first. I called Ameri-cal and Alexander came. He said that everything looks great but that my sprout needed it to be replaced. I ended up paying $145 total for the parts and it was all fixed. I ALMOST PAID 13k. I know I'll call this company if I ever have any future issues

Ryan Fabros from Ameri-Cal came out today to verify if I still had water leaks and a low pressure problem. I had Alpine plumbing come the day before and there techs basically were not forthright in there findings. They told me I had several leaks. Ryan from Ameri-Cal was the direct opposite.
He determined that there were no leaks. Fist thing he checked was my water meter and he showed me that the meter was not registering water flow wile we didn't turn on any water in the house. When I asked him if he would visually check for leaks under them house, he explained that since the meter did not show water flow there is no need to go under the house but he would if I wanted him to but then I would be charged for that and he told me that he didn't want me to pay for any unnecessary work. How refreshing to deal a an honest person. I highly recommended Ameri-Cal if you need plumbing work.

Just had Ameri-Cal do a full re-pipe of 3 bedroom, 2 bath house with Uponor PEX-a. I highly recommend that if you are considering re-piping your house to give the team at Ameri-Cal a call.

Taking on a house re-pipe is not something to take lightly as it involves a lot of coordination, clearing out your under sink cabinets, providing clear access to walls that need to be opened to re-pipe. Plan on not having any water for a full day.

Just so you all know and it is mentioned in another review, your walls will be opened up in places. The drywall/patch team at Ameri-Cal are professionals and did a great job patching up a exposed bedroom wall to paint ready condition.

Ameri-Cal will ensure they get the proper permit(s) from City Hall and this job will require a city inspector to sign off on the job. The inspector was impressed with the job done here.

From making the initial call to Tobi, meeting with Paul the field rep, to working with Martin the lead foreman on the job, the whole process went smoothly. Paul was very thorough in the walk through and explained in detail how the process would go. Answered any questions I had.

The whole crew are professionals and take pride in their work, and respect your house, taking care to put up protective plastic barriers and lay floor protection to minimize dirt/dust in your house.

I was amazed the morning of the job by the arrival of what appeared to be a small army advancing on my house to get this job done. They all knew what needed to be done and just did it like a well oiled machine. Martin would make sure that if any questions or issues came up he would keep me informed. The whole team was great to work with.

The crew as very impressive as part of the job was to relocate the water heater and to provide a hook up for a soon to be installed water filtration/sofener system. Nicely done.

In this process, it was mentioned to me that the water heater had developed rust deposits from the old pipes. Water heater was about 6 years old, when it was time to start it back up, found that the starter unit over the years had failed. Being that this was New Years holiday time and not wanting to be without hot water, Tobi came through for us to have his plumber (Andrew) come out to see what can be done. Determined that water heater needs to be replaced. Tobi and Andrew got a new water heater and got it installed ASAP. Tobi was always responsive and proactive in communicating with me. Awesome job guys!

I was in the market to have my 1,800 sq. ft. home re-piped using copper. I researched re-piping companies quite extensively and evaluated four companies prior to making my selection. I chose Ameri-Cal due to the following:

1. They offer competitive pricing
2. Their project Lead Toby was exceptional at answered all my questions in a timely and professional manner.
3. They offer a solid warranty which was very important to me.
4. They use Made in the USA copper lines and are big on deburring!

On day one, they showed up on time and ready to begin work. I was impressed with the professionalism of their team. They were all courteous and considerate of my specific instructions. The job was completed on day one as promised and my water was back in service the same day. Following the inspection, the patching staff showed up and performed the patching of the walls. They two showed up on time and were just as professional, they performed a great job with the patching.

Overall, Ameri-Cal Repiping is a great company. They did an excellent job at repiping my home and their staff was professional and extremely courteous. I believe this is a direct reflection of a well managed company. I would highly recommend Ameri-Cal to anyone wanting to get their home repiped. Excellent re-pipe and great customer service. They answered all of my questions and I seriously had a ton. I was debating between copper and pex and thought maybe the repipe proposal was not going to be right at first, but their rep (Isaac) stepped up and provided top notch customer service. The plumbing team (especially Gabriel and Alex) got everything done efficiently and permits were finalized. Also liked the quality of the drywall patch and texturing. I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends.

Unlike the other reviews, my experience with Ameri-Cal has been nothing short of a frustrating, miserable nightmare. I chose the lowest of 3 bids. My bad. Re-piping is a large construction project. A crew of 6 did re-pipe in one day. I was not prepared for the dirt, dust, and ruble left after the clean-up, or the mess left in my driveway and backyard, which included 1/2 dz box cutter used blades in the driveway, and used saw blades in the backyard. I was distracted by the 52 holes in my walls and ceilings. The city inspector said he had never seen anything like it. One hole outside the house in my stucco was 5ft long and 3 ft wide. I didn't notice all of the ruble in the landscaping but I did notice the insulation falling out of the holes. My kitchen alone had 14 holes. I was told that I could use the plumbing that evening, but I didn't think to check or look at the fixtures, assuming that was part of a quality control process. The faucet hands were crooked, and two leaked. 4 phone calls to get that fixed. What I didn't notice until days later was that they reversed the hot and cold water hoses of my washing machine. I ruined approx. $200 of delicate, cold water clothing that were both washed and rinsed in hot water. A grey, streaked, stretched out mess. I called to get this fixed at 8:00 am. 14 phone calls, broken promises, phantom time frames, and 11 1/2 hrs later, the washer was fixed. There was never a word about the ruined clothes. I actually believe that someone showed up because after call 11, I mentioned I was going to write this review. Buyer beware. You will get what you paid for.

I rarely write reviews but I felt compelled to write this one because of how honesty and dependable Alberto was. We recently had a bubble forming on top of the kitchen ceiling and were concerned if it had to do with the repipe that we did with Ameri-Cal few years back. Alberto came to our place to do the initial assessment of the ceiling. He explained everything very thoroughly and gave a fair repair cost. He did few tests to see the leak, recorded videos so my family can take a look at it (ultimately it wasn't the repipe lol) and gave us few options to what we would like to do next.

We are very happy with our experience with Ameri-Cal company and Alberto. We will be calling Alberto for all of our plumbing needs. If you are looking for a honest and dependable company who you can trust to do the right job for a fair price- call Ameri-Cal.

We used Ameri-Cal to do a complete L-type copper repipe of our small slab stucco home in Oceanside CA. Paul came out to do a free estimate. He was on time, provided professional printed materials describing what to expect throughout the process, and answered all of our questions. Their approach as to how to cut the walls, the routes to take, and the one-day piping and one-day patching schedule were the most minimal and common-sense of the three estimates we got, and the cost was very reasonable considering all of this. Carlos, the foreman, very personable and professional, arrived on time and did a complete walk-through reiterating everything to be done that day. His crew, including Alfredo, who went above and beyond, were hard workers and amazingly did complete the repipe portion in one day! The patching crew arrived on time the following day and also did a fantastic job patching the wallboard back and creating a knockdown texture that matched our walls perfectly. They tarped, kept the dust down and cleaned everything as they went. There were a few tiny things that they needed to come back to adjust but did it a few days later, no problem. We would highly recommend them.

Definitely a 5 Star experience. We have a 2 story condo with 2.5 baths. We had 2 pipe leaks in 2 years so our homeowner's insurance pressured us to get a re-pipe or they would drop us. We checked a couple of Yelp re-pipers and Ameri-Cal came in $2500 less than another highly rated company. Also, Paul was very quick in communicating and setting up an initial walk through early one evening whereas the other places only wanted to meet between 9-5 M-F. Sorry, but my wife and I both work so we really appreciate it when our contractors are flexible with their schedules. Paul quoted a 1 day job for the repipe, 1 day for the inspection, and 1 day for the drywall. They finished the work on time and were actually able to get the inspection and drywall done on the same day!

We also had a minor drain leak that we wanted repaired. Previous plumbers had quoted us anywhere from $700 to $1500 for the work! When the crew checked out the leak, he found 2 others that we weren't aware of. They replaced the drain pipes and fixed them all for $800!

The Good:
-The price was on the low end of what I expected
-The workers were very fast and got the job done very efficiently
-Everyone that we dealt with was very professional. This included Paul, Alex and the repipe crew, Andrew who fixed our leak, the drywall crew and the lady at their office who I called for appointments and payment
-They take credit card payments with no additional fees
-The walls and fixtures that they replaced look as good or better than before

The Bad:
-After the drywall repair, a layer of dust covered everything in my house and some of the drywall texture compound got on the toilets and my closet. Not deducting a star because were were expecting the mess.
-Fixing the drain leak took longer than expected. This was done on a Sunday and some of the places were closed so it took a while for them to get all of the necessary parts. Our bathtub also developed a crack during the leak repair. They were able to patch the leak but we will likely need to refinish or replace the tub soon. It's hard to say definitively that their work caused the crack since it is an older tub. In the end, I won'd deduct a star for this because it was outside the normal scope of work for the re-pipe.

Overall, we were very happy with Ameri-Cal. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody who needs a re-pipe done.

Alberto helped us with a gas line extension from the gas meter outside to our new gas dryer. When he showed up, he was very respectful of our home, including putting covers over his shoes. We were looking at different options, but he matched the price of another company we were looking at and did a great job of explaining to us how he would go about doing it over the phone. On the day of, he showed up on time with a face mask on and completed the work in about 5 hours. When he was finished, he walked me through the work he had done and left no trash and cleaned up well! We have other projects coming down the pipeline and plan to have Alberto help us out in the future.

Our toilet was not flushing - We thought it would be a quick snaking fix, so we called a local plumbing company, but little did we know, the issue was much worse. A small tree was growing in our pipes. The local company told us what they had to do and how much it would cost. It sounded really high so I decided to call our favorite plumbing company immediately, which is Ameri-Cal. They gave us a much cheaper quote and I felt way more comfortable with Ameri-Cal and gave them the go ahead. When the guys came to fix the issue, they came at the time frame that was promised and took only a couple of hours to do the job and did it very well. Very clean and professional! Showed me what they had done in detailed. I was very satisfied with their work. I have used them twice before. My very first experience with Ameri-Cal was over two years ago when my water heater gauge was broken. Again, I thought it was an easy fix, but the first two companies I called told me I needed a whole new water heater, when mine was only 5 years old. It would have been a couple of thousand dollars for a new one. But we didn't give up and called up one more company and it was Ameri-Cal. They told us the part would only cost a couple of hundred dollars and is an easy fixed. They came and fixed it in an hour. I was amazed and ever since then they were my favorite company to fix all my major plumbing problems. Ameri-Cal Company is very trust worthy and never tries to over sell. The time I called before this last job - I had assumed we needed major re-piping in our kitchen, but when Toby came out from Ameri-Cal to take a look at it, he said there was nothing needed to be done as long as our sink was draining fine - which it is and still is. So if you are looking for plumbers to do a great job and doesn't over sell or sound sleazy - you should definitely call them on your next plumbing issues.

He took my call and I was desperate for a water heater but after so many calls I forgot to ask which make and model and he told me to send pictures, I did and when I called back I got an answering service and they were short and not friendly. I left message asking him to call me ASAP and he never did. I emailed and called to cancel and today they showed up. No thank you.

Toby your comment is simply to not scare Yelp reviewers away. I spoke to someone else on Friday and he couldn't even return a call after I called twice and then left a message with a horrible type of answering service. I asked for an immediate call back and that was Friday it's now Tuesday. You couldn't take the time to even reply to my email asking what type of water heater and you showed up ....why I'm not sure.

Thanks to Ameri-Cal Repipe and Plumbing for turning a nightmare into a minor inconvenience . A crew of seven did our entire downstairs repiping in one day. They contacted the inspector for his visit the following day. Then, the dry wall work was expertly completed in the next two days. They are prompt, polite, efficient and keep it clean. The office is quick to answer any questions. We are very pleased with the work!

We found Ameri-Cal on yelp and called them for an estimate. They came out and quoted us a fraction of what the other companies had quoted us. We went with them and had them out the very next morning to Repipe our house. The crew was prompt and professional. They completed the Repipe in 6 hours and were on their way. The next day we had a guy come out from the company and he patched the inside and stucco outside. Everything looks great and we have had no issues with work they completed.

In the past several years I have managed properties for two individuals. During that time it was necessary to investigate and repair leaking pipes in an apartment complex and also in a residence. I chose this company due to their knowledge of repiping and their honesty in discussions regarding the proposed projects. Their promptness, knowledge, and efficiency was superb compared to other competitors I spoke to. The most recent job completed was a single two story residence. The crew arrived on time. Each person knew their assignment and began working. The job including opening walls and ceilings and running new pipe from service connect to all faucets and valves in the building was completed in approximately 9 hours including patching and texturing all openings. The crew included 2 people covering with tarps, vacuuming, and cleaning as the workers proceeded. The total cost was competitive with other contractors in the area, however the efficiency with which the job was completed could not have been more satisfying. A slight alteration requested by owner, 24 hours after job was completed was addressed promptly with no additional charge. This is one of the finest company I have ever dealt with.

We interviewed 3 companies after a leak in our kitchen following a full remodel. We didn't think we'd need to re-pipe since we just remodeled but South Orange County is notorious for plumbing issues and we didn't want to go through this again. The first company came in and gave us a bid but wanted to share with us all the things our competitors did wrong. He talked really fast and kept insisting on who his competition was so he could provide me insight. I would never high someone who does business that way and they were also the highest bid but he'd give me a discount if we signed prior to Thanksgiving. The 2nd company was competitive on price but we would've had to wait a while and timing was critical for us. The third company was Ameri-Cal and they seemed to be the most honest and straight forward. They were the most competitive on price and even gave me a $200 discount because they door knocked our house a few weeks prior and I remember meeting the salesman. The day they arrived, I believe there were about 5-6 guys who came in and prepped the entire house covering everything in plastic and tape. They started on a Thursday and did the entire repipe in 2 days. We went with the Pex versus copper. They came in on Saturday and Sunday and did the sheet rock, texture and hot mud following by painting Sunday and Monday. The only hiccup was that they put Pex under the sink and the inspector wanted copper there .They also cut some holes in the side of our under sink cabinet that they didn't use. I would've preferred they took out the cabinets and counters, since the kitchen was already half demoed versus drilling 6 holes and leaving 2 unused that cracked the cabinets. However, all in all, they did a good job and I would recommend them for business.

We just went through a full home repipe with Amer-cal. Paul was very thorough in his quote and walk through and while they were not the lowest they were extremely fair prices for all the work that was done.

If you have never through a repipe get ready. You house will be torn apart with 60-80 holes (2350 SF house 2 story). The team is very clean and will tape and out plastic over everything.

Repipe took two days since Paul and team were so accommodating for us. Day one was repipe and setup. We had the inspector come in the AM day 2. Then the patch and texture crew came after and they wrapped up that night. We were able to paint day 4 via another vendor and be done.

The foreman Alex was great too. We have beadboard in our ceiling that we wanted to avoid so he came by the day before to do a thorough walk through and we have two good plans to route everything without impacting the ceiling. The next day when the job started it went without a hitch.

Lastly they installed a recirculator since we have a few long runs. Now we have almost instant hot water brought the day depending on how I set my timer.

After it was done we had a few minor questions and issue with leaky faucets since the fixtures were so old. Ameri-cal would send a technician to diagnose and fix the issue within one day. Couldn't ask for better customer service.

I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking at a whole home repipe.

On 7-3-2023, I had a toilet that wasn't flushing as expected. It got to the point I had to call someone. I recall that I used Ameri-Cal (Buena Park, on Knott) once before. And the service and repair was super. So why not call them again?

Robert showed up per schedule. Assessed the issue and explained what needed to be done. He explained what he was doing step by step and corrected the problem. No mess was involved. Nice to have someone out that the customer can have confidence in. Thanks Robert.

The thought of repiping our house was a daunting one but everyone at Ameri-Cal was so helpful and thorough. Toby and Paul from the office set up everything and kept tabs on the progress. We couldn't be happier with the job this company completed. Thank you!

I originally went with this company after securing two other estimates because of their wonderfull Yelp ratings but now I think there must be something fishy. We were really UNSATISFIED with their service. Toby was super nice and available, however, they were EXTREMELY sloppy. So sloppy and rushed that we are really leary of the quality of work. We were told they would need a full day or possibly more to repipe but they were done by around 2:30pm and because it was Friday, they rushed off for the weekend and left a COMPLETE mess. In fairness, Toby offered to reimburse us for $200 housekeeping, but my husband was recovering from pneumonia so I spent the rest of the day and following day cleaning up the dust and debris that they left EVERYWHERE. By contrast, my parents went with AMA Repipe and said they cleaned up EVERYTHING and you couldn't even tell they had been there.

And speaking of sloppy, they installed the fixtures so HORRIBLY, heck, if you can't put on a shower nozzel, how can I trust you know how to repipe a house? Check out the pictures. Even when they came back to fix it they still did a bad job (notice the gap, and it's already cracking). From start to finish this job took WEEKS and WEEKS. The City Inspector had to come out four times to make sure everything was fixed correctly. The worst part was Ameri-Cal NEVER set-up the final city walk-through as promised (and paid for). After the stucco was done, they just left us hanging (crickets chirpping). If I hadn't been told by a friend that I'd have a permenent lein on my house and couldn't sell it in the future with an outstandiing city inspection... I had to call and schedule the final walk-through myself. I would not recommend this company. Our experience was not good and NOT what we paid for (and they were not cheap either).

UPDATE (4/19/19): In response to Toby, the sloppy work was done on old shower, not the remodeled one so no excuses and only reason I'm letting it slide.

Glad you are making changes to the way you work to limit the dust and mess. That's why I posted this review, to make positive changes so kudos!

Lastly. We didn't receive a final bill until about a month or more after the work was completed and we had scheduled our own final walkthrough with the city. My guess is you didn't want to deal with us anymore. Customers shouldn't have to call you and ask for you to do something that was promised in the contract. Had I not known to schedule the final walkthrough would you have done it? My guess is after that long of time, no.

The crew worked diligently to get the job done in one day, so we would be back up and running by dinner time. The drywall repair was another whole day and once again, the crew worked so hard to finish the job in a day.
We're so happy that we no longer have to worry about a future slab leak but the best purchase was a recirculating water pump that they installed. We now get instant hot water at every faucet in the house!! We know this is going to save us tons on our water bill each month.

I recently had my repipe done with Ameri-Cal Repipe & Plumbing and was extremely happy from the first meeting to the final installation. Their price was very close to the other five companies but we went with them because of all the photos posted on Yelp and their lifetime warranty was very appealing. We have them scheduled for Monday at 8am and they were prompt, all eight of them. They proceeded to put plastic sheeting over everything and I was very surprised how detailed they were to protect everything (flooring, walls, carpeting, etc.) in our home. They were in by 8am and left at 3:30pm and the place was spotless. But I was most pleased with the patching. They patched and textured the walls and you couldn't tell where the patch work was...it was that good. They took out all the permits and coordinated the inspections and they followed up to make sure that we were happy. It was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend them to all my friends and family

We have been dealing with slab leaks in our house for years. We knew it was time to get our house re-piped. We reached out to several plumbing companies for quotes. They were happy to give out quotes. All re-piping quotes were all in the same ball park. I went with Ameri-Cal for their professionalism from the start. Toby went in detail over the entire re-piping process and answered all my questions. Ameri-Cal recommended that city permits be pulled for the job. The other plumbers either avoided the topic of permits or suggested that they were not necessary.

On the day of the re-piping, Alfonso and his crew arrived early and prepped the house. They put down tarps and drop clothes in all the rooms they worked in. It was amazing to see how quickly and efficiently they re-piped the house with PEX. The job was finished in a day. They city inspector reviewed the work and gave the green light for patching. The following day, the patching team came over. I was really worried that the patch area would look terrible. Once the patch team was done, I couldn't tell that there was a hole in that spot. The texture matched perfectly.

I would not hesitate to recommend Ameri-Cal to my friends and family for re-piping.

Out of the six respondents to my request, this was the only place that identified the correct solution to my problem and provided a quote and availability. The others only provided one or two of these in their responses. My washing machine drain was clogged and Robert came early within the time frame provided and unclogged the drain, tested it both with and without laundry detergent, and also gave me tips on how to prevent in the future. Also informed me that if it clogs again within 60 days (hopefully not!) they will come out for free. Solid company and definitely deserving of their 4.5 star reviews.

Ameri-Cal has gone above and beyond every expectation, and here is my story:

- PRICING: We had three quotes in total, and Ameri-Cal came in most competitive. More importantly, we felt most comfortable and trustworthy dealing with Paul than the reps from the other two companies.

- QUALITY/REPIPE: I was totally blew away at how efficient, skillful and professional the crews were. There were a total of two separate crews: Repipe (an eight people crew led by Jorge) and Patchers (led by Alfredo). Paul also came in on the day of the job (which we were grateful of) and provided additional instructions to Jorge. After walking us through their plan of the day, the crew started immediately covering all the furniture. I was amazed at how coordinated the team was. Every member knew exactly what they needed to do (which tells me that they do this very often if not everyday). It took them a little bit over two hours just to cover up everything in the house before the real work got started. Total repipe lasted about 5-6 hours. By around 5pm, everything was done as promised! The team then started testing the water and Jorge also did a final walk-through to ensure that everything was working properly before taking off. (Remarks: No water hammer or noise issues as stated by another Yelp reviewer. The crew also didn't use Sharpie to mark on the walls as stated by another Yelp reviewer.)

- CLEAN UP: While some were conducting final water testing and installing the insulation tubes, others dove right into the cleaning process. They worked really hard to remove all the dust/debris to the best of their ability...first by removing all the floor covering/drop-cloth and then eventually vacuuming/wiping down the floor with soft cloth. We were so thankful for these considerate gestures.

- PATCH: The patch crew was consisted of two people, and I must say that they were the most skillful drywall patchers I have ever worked with. They reconstructed everything up to paint ready status (which is standard for all repipe companies). They have done such an excellent job that we couldn't even tell, in certain areas where we have very light and white colored walls, that the walls were ever opened. The total job took two days as promised. And of course, they covered everything and cleaned up at the end of the project.

- CONCLUSION: I have to say that we are beyond satisfied with Ameri-Cal Repipe & Plumbing, and have already told many of my friends and co-workers about them in case they ever needed a repipe. At the beginning, I was so nervous going into this project since: a) it is a considerable investment, and b) despite all the good reviews, I was still afraid that something might go wrong. Paul, however, was so patient with us and was able to answer all of our tedious questions prior to the start of the project. Now that everything is done, I am so happy that we have made the right choice going with Ameri-Cal. Plus we get to enjoy cleaner water with our brand new pipes!

This will be the first of two. I will re-rate if needed. I picked this company who out-bid three others, not by a whole bunch. the closer for me was the one-day repipe with patching included. I chose Pex pipe after a load of research and investigation.

At about 7:30 this morning, there were six trucks parked out in front of my house. Ten or more workers were ready to go. They were all clean, communicative and respectful. Once the working time of 8 came around they descended on my house like ninja assassins. Everybody seemed to know exactly what to do and where to go. There are a trillion holes in the wall for which they explained the need for each. The water came on at about 4:00 pm. that day. It was pretty unbelievable. The foreman came at the end of the day to review all of the work. The guys were ready to go home but be wanted to re position the refrigerator feed so that the inspector would not want an inspection panel on a entryway wall. . So far these guys have totally exceeded my expectations.
Next day: The YL inspector came to look at the holes in my house. City inspectors can be more particular than a virgin father's handshake with her first date. The guy started in looking at the holes (Supervisor had warned me about this) After about halfway through, the inspector told me that he would pass the whole house because he was convinced that the crew did all the right installations. There is a second inspection that should have occurred if they had not. The inspector told me to tell the crew what he wanted, but based on what he saw of their work so far, he didn't think it was worth holding up the patching. I gave the supervisor the inspector's punch list and the items are done this morning as the patching is in full swing on this third day. Make no mistake, you are not going to like having your house re-piped. It is as stressful as death in the family. But I would rather take the pain in a three day process than to have people falling over each other for 10-14 days and still having to get my own drywall patch done. PS The Drywall guys are as focused as the pipers. I am upstairs trying to stay out of their way lest I get run over. :)
5:00 on the third day. ALL of the holes, ALL of them are patched and textured. I showed the foreman some other patch jobs from before that were not nearly so good. I bought them lunch and poured them a beer in token of my appreciation. The last three days have seemed like a month. I shudder to think what it would have been like to have plumbers in my house for 10-14 days like the competitors were bidding. I shudder to think about getting my own people to do the drywall patch. I would love to tell you that you are going to like having your house torn to shreds if you need a repipe. You are not. But, like Jorge, the guy that came to the door on Wednesday morning said: It will be a little tough at first , but it will be done and over sooner than you think . I appreciate that the people know how hard it is to have strangers come in to your house and take over for a couple of days. They left the house very clean. They are not a maid service, but they are 500% more attentive to getting the place back to normal than I have ever dealt with. I am thinking that if you need a repipe, this is a company that you should consider very closely. they did a great job

4-17. I finally got a painter in to paint the walls (not included in the service) He commented about the great job that the patching crew did in texturing the walls. I agree.

Ameri-cal Repipe are a life saver. They where willing to come to my house and give me an estimate within a couple of hours of contacting them and able to start the job the next day. Unlike their competitor Repipe Specialist said they will schedule to come a week later. I'm like hello, I have a busted pipe for goodness sake. Ameri-cal customer service was excellent and professional. They answered all my questions and concerns and walked me through the entire job. They did an awesome job repiping my whole house.

Since many of our neighbors have had pipe leaks, we decided to get ahead of the problem and have our home re-piped before we have a problem. I ask some of my neighbors which company they used and there was a lot of bad stories which concerned me. After reading the reviews on Yelp, I called Ameri-Cal. Paul came out and explained the entire process and gave us a quote. He was very kind and patient. When I hired him I told him that I hope there are no issues like my neighbors had. He re-assured me that if there was, they would all be taken care of. He was true to his word, anything that needed some attention after the initial installation was taken care of. Toby came for an estimate for a repipe for our place and we decided to go with them. Pricing came in lower than other companies. Everything was done in two days . Only thing I wish I didn't do was change the valve because I still haven't had anyone come by to fix the tile . They told me that they don't repair so that's my fault - if you change the valve I would say go and get their valve with the plate. If anyone knows of a tile repair man let me know haha.

Job = Full house Uponor pex-A repiping (~$6000 / 1650 sq ft home where the water heater was just below the upstairs bathroom and close to downstairs bathroom so no crazy lines going all over... fairly straight forward)

1) No DUST!!!!! My biggest fear since I have 3 young children. After Day of tearing open the walls not a single dust particle or smell in my house. These guys took super special care to minimize dry wall dust throughout my house. Granted I made sure to ask they they pay special attention to this having had nightmare experiences in other states I've lived, but these guys were awesome.

2) Best PRICE! I had quotes from multiple companies and these guys came in as the best price, especially among the companies that have the highest ratings. Don't use a company that offers a lower price but have bad ratings... not worth it... select among the best companies always.

3) Dry wall repair was incredible. Couldn't tell the difference. Outdoor stucco repair could have been a tad better, but whatever.

I would definitely use this company again and wouldn't think twice.

I've dealt with many contractors and there were not many that wowed me. Having remodeled the entire house before which took approximately 6 months to complete, I learned a lot.

A couple weeks ago, had a tankless installed and with my awesome luck had a slab leak. A couple companies came out and quoted me to re-pipe the section that was leaking. Did some research and found Ameri-Cal and a couple other highly rated companies. I called two companies and Paul from Ameri-Cal called me back the same day. The other company did not. Paul came to my house on a Sunday and gave me a quote. Paul's knowledge and confidence had me at the gecko. I normally don't trust many contractors. Paul had mentioned that the only time slot he had was around Thanksgiving week, which would have been horrible for me. He calls me on Tuesday letting me know he had a open slot on Wednesday. I took it.

My house is approximately 2800 sq ft, 2 story with 3 full baths. Paul said it will be done in 1 day for the re-pipe. Wednesday came and they finished. It was a lot of work since he had to run 2 additional lines for the hard water since I'm going to have a water softener installed. Next day the inspector came and everything said on yelp was correct. The inspector said that this was one of the best work he's ever seen. There were some stuff done that he was wondering how they managed. I also had another contractor here that was working on my garage and he said the same thing.

Anyways, Ameri-Cal did a lot of extra work for me and did not charge me a single penny more. They fixed 2 previous contractor's work at no charge to me. They definitely take pride in their work and does not nickel and dime.

Chapter 2: The scariest thing with re-piping is seeing all those darn holes in the walls. You tell yourself the house will never look the same. Paul kept on mentioning that his patch and texture guys are good. I was questioning it. Well, he was correct. There were sections that they did where I asked myself if there were holes cut there. Remember in the 4th paragraph I mentioned him fixing the other contractor's work? Well, he fixed the other guy's texture where it matches now.

I don't do many reviews, but when I do, it means they left a pretty darn good impression on me. If you need a re-pipe, give them a shot, you won't regret it! This company really goes over and beyond! If all companies were like this, the world would be a better place.

Finding a reliable plumbing company is not easy today. I'm writing this review because I've found the best plumbing company in Orange County, Ameri-Cal. Reliable, affordable and efficient. I had the pleasure of having Armondo come by to fix a worn sprinkler system. The frozen valve that controlled the whole system was very old. Armondo had that replaced in no time. Adjusted everything and checked the system to make sure in was functioning like it's supposed to. I forgot to mention, I waited two days for someone else to repair it, they never showed up or called. Hmmm. Lost out on my business. Thank you Armando!

My husband and I recently relocated to Orange County from Dallas, TX. During the closing of our new home, the sellers informed there was a slab leak in the living room/kitchen area. We requested they repipe the whole house for us since this would have been their 3rd slab leak. They selected AmeriCal Plumbing and we couldn't be happier with their choice. We were advised to add a water softener and this would be the perfect time to do it. We contacted AmeriCal and spoke to Toby. He explained the process and additional costs associated with the install of the water softener. We bought a water softener unit but didn't have a way to transport to the new house since the sellers were still in possession of the house. On the day of the repiping and install of the water softener unit; Toby coordinated with his crew and they stopped by our temporary residence to pick up the water softener unit for us. Overall the process was seamless and Toby was great to work with. He was always quick to respond to our texts and provided all the needed info. We discovered a slab leak, our fourth leak, the morning of our daughter's bridal shower which was just four weeks prior to the wedding. It was the straw that broke the camel's back. We decided to repipe the entire house instead of tearing up my floors to fix the leak, and based on Yelp reviews and a few reviews from neighbors we hired Ameri-Cal for the job. Their price was fair and they were able to complete the job efficiently to my very picky satisfaction. They arrived on a Saturday with a small army of workers. My rooms and floors were expertly covered and the job was completed as promised in one day. Sunday we were without water waiting for the city inspection on Monday. The city inspector gave her blessing and another crew of expert drywallers showed up on Tuesday to cover quite a few holes. After it dried my husband painted and then we spent a few hours putting everything back. We are extremely pleased with high quality of work from every Ameri-Cal employee and would recommend them without any reservations.

We repiped our house to avoid a major leak in the future as a section of our pipes had already started to leak. Ameri-Cal came out quick for a quote and was able to start the next week. They were fast and did a great job. They redid a small section of repipe another plumber had done for no extra charge. The drywall team did an amazing job! Ameri-Cal Repipe and Plumbing continues to impress me. They came back to my home today and responded to my email within 20 minutes or less. I am in the middle of a kitchen remodel, and the reverse osmosis filter they have installed for me was leaking from one of the clear PVC tubes (I thought was leaking, but turns out it was not!). The same day, a couple guys came over and let me know that it is the bad water that the filter is filtering out and needs to go into the drain. They simply put the tube into the laundry drain, and fixed my problem within 5 minutes. No sweat. Thank you. I am very happy that Ameri-Cal did my installation and re-pipe. I have confidence that they stand behind their workmanship and word, and that I can rely on them for my needs.

So you want to repipe your home - well, I have good news and bad news. People usually start off with the good news but I like to start off with the bad news that way all can end on a happy note.

1. For those that say there's no dust anywhere........truly speechless on that one.
2. Please remember this is a MAJOR project. It is not a hole here and there (look at the pictures).
3) The noise is crazy loud.
4) DON'T make the mistake of staying home thinking you can work around the workers - you can't. You won't like it and they probably don't like you hanging around either. You can't help them and you can't/shouldn't advise them. They are the professionals, you are NOT!
5. If you have stuff you really want to protect from dust - hide it - under your bed!
6. They are not perfect - they are human and prone to minor slip-ups here and there.
7. Don't let the minor slip-ups upset you - YOUR ENTIRE CONDO/HOUSE IS BEING REPIPED WHILE YOU'RE LIVING IN IT.

That's about all I can think of for the bad news - and now for the good news.

1. They are a fabulous company to work with.
2. They have integrity and show up when they say they will and get right to work and work hard the entire day. I was exhausted just thinking about what they were doing.
3. Toby answered all my texts - and some probably didn't make sense but I gathered he knew at some point that he was dealing with a crazy woman that loved her home and calmed my fears. WHO DOES THAT???
4. Alex, the foreman, was adorable and also calmed my fears at my worst moment when he said he could work around a particular bathroom that had venetian plaster on the walls that I got done for free years ago and would never be able to afford that treatment again. My venetian plaster is in tact.
5. They do try to keep your home as clean as humanely possible; they cover everything, but I'm sorry, dust simply has a way of getting in and therefore you need to dust when they are done.
6. It took one week of my life - day 1: repipe. day 2 (or 3) inspection; day 3: patch and texture some of the holes and day 4: more patching and texturing and last but not least day 5: you are learning to breathe again, you realize it's finally over, you decide to start painting and here I sit with my living room, hallway, laundry room, dining room and almost garage looking better than before and I have my home back.

So that's my news - this is my story and I'm sticking to it. HAPPY REPIPE! GET IT DONE BEFORE LAGUNA NIGUEL SINKS DUE TO ALL THE WATER LEAKS.

Ameri-Cal exceeded our expectations! We had several leaks in our home and having various large to mid sized plumbing companies attempt to fix those was a bit of a nightmare for us. We found Ameri-Cal on Yelp, and spoke with Isaac. He was modest, to the point, and took time to do a thorough assessment. Their pricing was very competitive compared with other vendors that we met with. After our repipe, we were delighted at the extra level of attention that was provided to ensure we were fully taken care. Isaac also provided recommendations for some other projects that we were trying to finish up. Overall very happy with our experience and have recommended them to several of our friends.

The quote was professional and the commitment to schedule exceeded our expectation. The plumbers were skilled and completed their work as scheduled. The drywall work is some of the best work we have seen - and our house has had a lot of drywall work done changing out door and window locations. The city inspector missed the first appointment due to his own error going to the wrong house - the city had the correct address but somehow the inspector just got messed up. Both of the inspections went well without any corrections needed due to the plumbing work. The plumbing work was approved of on the initial inspection and the Final. We give Ameri-cal our highest recommendation.

I had the well known unfortunate slab leak. I knew there would be more behind this one so decided to re-pipe my home with PEX. I was dreading the process. I actually was very pleasantly surprised with the professionalism and outstanding job that was done. I dealt with Michelle and Ryan. They both did what they said they would do each and every time. There were no communication issues or passing the buck. My job was done in a timely manner. Pipe in one day and then patching the next day. I would highly recommend using these guys and they saved me about $1500 over everyone else. They also saved me money on a new water heater. They all did an out standing job!

I was introduced to Toby by my neighbor. She worked with this company 5 years back Ana was were happy with their work. During this pandemic we had a minor water leak and we wanted to get the repipe done at once and not bother work repairs every year. We did lot of research talked to different companies but no one was straight forward like Toby. He was honest and price was fair. I am very happy with their service and they are always there if you have any issues. The people who were sent to do the repiping was liscenced FT employees not some random contractors. And people who did the dry wall was very professional and did awesome job.

Having had mixed experiences with contractors in the past, the idea of repiping my house had me very worried. After getting quotes from 6 companies, I decided to move forward with Americal. Their rep, Paul came across far less as a sales person than a former foreman who sized up what needed to be done, and pretty much just wanted to negotiate a reasonable deal. I asked him some hard questions about his company, and its history, and he was transparent and honest about everything. I was comfortable enough to move forward. I don't want to bad mouth some of their competition, but you really need to talk with several companies to see the staggering differences. I had reps not call nor show up (the owner of one company), I had one quote me double the rate of the others, I had one do nothing but brag about aspects of their company I couldn't care less about. They match anyone's price, but the criteria is asinine, making that offer useless. I had another claim I needed another $2k in work which I did not. So I very much compared and vetted AmeriCal.

I think in some conversations AmeriCal may have paid the price for paranoia caused by previous contractors, but each step of the way their guys delivered. Toby was a pleasure to work with. On the first day, everyone showed up on time. They were extremely respectful, professional and worked incredibly hard. They repiped the whole place in a single, day, tested, water on. There was a large hiccup due to a failure at the water meter causes by the local water districts equipment. The crew foreman went above and beyond his responsibilities to help the water districts guys repair the issue. Any issues, he was on it. The second crew, the guys who did the patching were able to finish everything but a hole in the stucco in one day. They came back, working around my schedule to finish that last bit. Things to expect. The guys cover everything in plastic. They spend a lot of time in prep to make sure not to damage anything. It looks like a scene from Dexter, or some virus movie. But you will get some of the compound they use for texturing appearing in odd places. I think I found some on the fridge. It comes right off like powder, don't get alarmed. And I think it is unrealistic to imagine you won't find it on a counter or at least in one place. These guys drive from LA or further. I provided lunch, as a courtesy for both crews. They were my guests. And I'm glad I did. Their work ethic is intense. I wish I remembered the names of the guys on the crews, as they really deserve personal recognition. I remember Fernando on the patching crew, who was an absolute pleasure.

All in all, repiping is a scary process to even think about. AmeriCal, and their crews made it a very painless experience, and I'm very grateful for their work.

I hired Ameri-Cal to do a full copper re-pipe of my home. Toby and Paul were really great to work with. I had an emergency and needed to schedule a last-minute re-pipe on a Sunday. Even though they weren't open on Sundays, they found a crew to do the work with 2 days notice.

Their crew was great. I'm guessing 10-12 people rolled in on Sunday morning and went straight to work. They were organized and efficient all the way through the process. The first guys covered everything with plastic, followed by the cutting team, then the pipe installers. They had all of the re-piping done in one day and we had water that night.

The second day the inspector came out and signed off the work without issue. The third day their drywall patching and texturing team came through and did an excellent job.

I absolutely recommend Ameri-Cal (and Toby and Paul). They exceeded my expectations.

These guys are lifesavers! I had a same-day urgent request to have someone come out yesterday, and this was the only company that was able to accommodate to the request. I received a message from Ryan within minutes of messaging them a quote for a shower repair. I believe it was an issue with my bathtub spout, as hardly any water was coming out the showerhead and I had guests over for 3 days. Nobody wants to stay in a home with no ability to get a proper shower, right?

Within minutes, I received a text from Isaac who was able to come over to my house after normal working hours for a consult. Being an Asian-style home, Isaac was considerate enough to wear booties in the house so it didn't track dirt or oil in the home. I ended up hiring him for the job, and he completed it within minutes, excluding the time it took me to get a new spout, which he was patient enough to wait the 20-25 minutes it took for me to get a new one since the one I had bought prior to his arrival was incompatible with my tub. Isaac provided EXCEPTIONAL customer service at a more than competitive and reasonable rate, so much in fact that we will probably hire Ameri-Cal for other home improvement projects from now on. Not only are they competent, but they are considerate and more than fair. Paul came to my house for estimate. He is very professional and detail-oriented. I have three quotes done , his price is very competitive . what impressed me is his integrity. after his workers came and opened up the wall, they found that only three lines are to be repiped instead of four which he assumed. We had a leak between the first and second floor of our home. The water was finding its way through an electrical box on the first floor ceiling; this is a situation that needed attention immediately. We called Ameri-Cal Plumbing and the owner stated that he would contact his team in the field and see if anyone could get to our home quickly; they were all out on assignments. The team of Armando and Jaime showed up quickly, found the leak and repaired it within 20-30 minutes. I almost never used the my kitchen sink garbage disposer. Recently the disposer stopped working - instead of replacing it, decided to get rid of it! Put in a request for a quote on yelp - immediately received multiple emails from various local plumbing companies. Based on detailed photos that I sent to Alexander of Ameri-Cal plumbing, he provided me with a quote. The job included removal of the old garbage disposer, installation of a new strainer & connecting to the main drain pipe. On the scheduled day & time, Jeff arrived with mask & shoe covers, completed the project, nicely cleaned up before leaving. Both Alexander & Jeff were v professional & polite. I am very happy with the work & would highly recommend them!

Let me start out by saying that no one wants to work on Christmas day but that being said they are open so I called them because my bathtub drain was clogged they said they would call me back to set up a time at 2 PM they called me and said they would be at my house in 10 minutes. 30 minutes later I called to ask what the problem was and they said they would call me back. One hour later I called them back and said I still haven't heard from them are they still coming and the lady told me that she would give the information to the plumber and he would call me back one hour later I called again explaining to her that I had people over and we could not use the bathroom. Then she hung up on me so I called Hot shot plumbing and Elbert was at my house in 20 minutes, fixed the problem at a reasonable price. Still waiting for Ameri-Cal to show up. They never called me back or canceled horrible customer service . Can't tell you how good the plumber was because he never showed up!!!!! Don't make the same mistake I did

Garbage disposal did not turn on and could not reset. It basically flat lined. Then I noticed the leak, oh crap. Cloth towels came out to dry along with fans blasting to save the cabinetry. Ameri-Cal magnet on my refrigerator. Appropriately attired for covid safety. He diagnosed quickly, need new disposal, replaced and cleaned up. Tested the unit and the beautiful sound of it working was music to my ears.

I just had my entire house re-piped with PEX by a very highly rated company in Orange County. As I researched the project I had hoped to have at least two companies come out to my home to look at the scope of work and make suggestions before submitting an estimate to me. I contacted Ameri-Cal and asked for a callback from a representative to schedule an estimate for my house in Redondo Beach, however I never received a call. I went forward with the company in Orange County and was very pleased with the work and results. I even had them install a tankless water heater and new water conditioner. I find that there are many businesses that are not good at customer service and follow up. Had they contacted me as I was promised I may have gone with them. I waited 3 days for a callback that never came before placing the deposit with the company I went with.

I've had such a wonderful and grateful experience with Toby and Sam. I had requested a quote on getting my ring out of my sink - I was clumsy and it fell through the drain. I quickly googled YouTube videos on how to get it out of the pipe; however, even though it looked easy, I knew I wouldn't be able to do it. I messaged a lot of plumbers and they all offered to help me get the ring for price ranges of $100-200 which is just ridiculous, as my ring itself is only a $50 ring but it was a gift - I had to get it back. Toby replied to me on yelp and asked me to take a picture of my drain and he sent Sam on his way a few hours later at no charge. I was completely shocked by Toby's kindness and I couldn't believe how friendly both Toby and Sam were. Sam was joyous to help me with getting my ring back and really made my whole week. A good way to do a re-piping job is to route the new cold- and hot- water connections to the manifold and run most of the new connections from there. This minimizes the length of the hot- and cold- water pipes and minimizes and localizes the noise levels to a relatively small area when faucets or appliances (such as dish washer or washer) are running.

Since, this approach needs more labor hours and more time to complete the job, AmeriCal used the attic and outside- and interior- walls (between the bedrooms) to re-pipe my two-story house.

To make hot water connections, for example, AmeriCal routed the cold water pipe from the outside main line to the attic (through an outside wall), run it down to the hot water heater to the garage (through an interior wall between bedrooms) , and then run it back up again to the attic (through another interior wall)! Yes, this needed miles of cold- and hot- water pipe runs, but it saved AmeriCal many labor hours and allowed them to complete the re-piping work in one day!

Unfortunately, this approach has serious flaws and AmeriCal knows about it. For example: (1) when either the washer, dishwasher or an outside faucet is turned on, the higher noise levels in all rooms on second would be annoying, (2) when any hot water faucet is turned on, a lot of cold water has to run down because the lengths of the pipes are very long, and (3) since the pipes run through many walls, the probability of inadvertently driving a nail through one of these is significantly higher.

AmeriCal knows these problems but did not tell me because I would not allow this type of work. When I questioned one of their senior manager (Toby?) why they did not tell about this serious problem at the beginning, he was very upset and said - don't call me in the future, go talk to the sales guy!. He was quick to pass blame to the sales person!

Ameri-Cal exceeded our expectations! We're very happy with them. Be sure to look for the $200 on-line coupon. Also, if you've got an old hot water heater or shower valves that are more than 10 years old, this is the time to upgrade. The plumbing is already open for the re-pipe. Ameri-Cal did us a solid switching out a couple valves and our old hot water heater. It wasn't perfect. The patch crew arrived a day late and stayed a day longer than expected. But they did a great job patching! We'd heard this is often an area of challenge for other companies. Some don't even do their own patching. We found Ameri-Cal very helpful, trustworthy, cooperative, easy to communicate with day or night. They exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend them!

My family was fed up with neverending copper leaks and shady/dishonest plumbers in the Walnut area. It was time to repipe.

Ameri-Cal and another repiping company in my area were the top choices and they gave similar quotes. 3 bath, 1 kitchen, 1 laundry house for approximately $6400 with pex and $8900 with copper. The other company made a better final offer, but Paul seemed honest and gave reassuring opinions.

They did a good job covering up the ground during the work to not destroy our cream carpet. Also, +1 for being mindful of my scared cat and posting a sign warning the other crew that he's in one of the rooms. It is not the crew's responsibility to pet-watch, but we were not able to relocate our furball in time for the work. Still, they did wonderfully in keeping him in a closed room during work hours.

Everything was completed on schedule. They did a surprisingly good job patching up the 40+ holes throughout the house. Just keep in mind that they do not paint, so it would be a good idea to maybe paint before having all the furniture moved back.

I started on this review 6 months ago, and there are so far no known issues. I'm very happy with choosing Ameri-Cal Repipe.

I sent a message via Yelp and was able to have Alberto assigned to me and come out within 2 days to replace some leaky hose bibs I had outside the perimeter of my house.

He arrived early in the morning (with a mask and gloves on), thoroughly explained to me what options I had within varying price ranges, and was very clear on the pricing/fees. He took the time to explain to me exactly what he planned to do, was finished within a couple of hours, and no mess was left behind. He did a great job!

I can't 100% vouch for them in terms of the pricing and whether or not they are competitive with other plumbers in OC. I did not bother to reach out to another plumber for a quote and just decided to go with these guys based on their Yelp reviews. I'm going to assume the pricing was very fair if not great. I will most definitely use them again if I have any other plumbing issues, as well as recommend them to others as well.

My husband and I hired Ameri-Cal to do a complete repipe, and the work was done in a timely and professional manner. The drywall people forgot one area, and management quickly resolved the issue by coming out the next day to patch. All the workers were courteous, hard working and pleasant to have around, so much so that my husband purchased everyone lunch. The only thing I would add is they could perhaps manage the inspection process with our City a little better. This could have been partly our fault, as we were completely in the dark when it comes to pulling permits, etc. All in all, I would recommend this company for your next project. They were definitely responsive.

After the second water leak issue I turned my water off and needed a re-pipe ASAP. Toby was very responsive and came out right away and scheduled work for a re-pipe that weekend. I have used Ameri-cal before for re-piping and I was extremely happy with the service so when I had another plumbing issue I called them up again. I had a late call since I can't leave work early. When I return home, Mr Alberto was waiting patiently outside my house. He was very professional and even wore shoe socks every time he enters the house. I thought I had a major leak problem but after he investigated for a while it turned out to be something very simple. He stay and gave me pointers on other issues that I may encountered and we chatted for quite a while. I couldn't be happier with the service and the price was very reasonable. Ameri-Cal repiped my house a few months ago, so this review is a little late. However, they did a fine job. The inspector was impressed with their work and I would definitely recommend them. In all honesty, it's a messy job to begin with. It's noisy, and trust me, it wasn't fun. But they were competent and fast - thank goodness. There was one issue that came up and they immediately came back out and fixed it - so no complaints. I know I hired the right people. Phew!

After receiving 6 bids for re-piping my 3 bedroom condo, I selected Ameri-Cal. Their representative was very easy to understand, their price was lower than all the rest, and I was able to convince three of my neighbors to re-pipe as well. They also included repatching and when they were done, it looked as though I had actually repainted. Their workers were efficient, considerate and professional. I have since used them for relocating my washer and dryer into the garage (which was a bigger job than I had anticipated) and for other plumbing jobs as well. I recently moved to South Orange County not knowing the water pipe failures they are famous for. See Restoration trucks all over the place here. I decided to take matters in my own hands and repipe the house (Pex).. I shopped around. Got some quotes. Called Ameri-Cal and spoke to Paul.
He gave me a an average estimate. Then gave me the Yelp discount. I was impressed and signed up for the work.. Plumbing crew was in and out of here in 7 hours. Inspector was in and out in 20 minutes.. Drywall crew came in and patched and textured and cleaned up very nicely. Must mention Jose and his drywall crew.. THE BEST! When they left after 8 hours of good hard work, you would have never known this place had been repiped. Went out of their way to make everything look back to normal. Water pressure super, great hot water.
Did some odds and ends I asked them to do for me. Just plain super job!
Spoke to Joyce the accountant in the office about monetary aspect. She was great! Very nice lady. She took care of everything right over the phone.
All in all the house was repiped with Pex in 2 days. I am now worry free.

We had Ameri-Cal come out for a re-pipe, they were amazing, great price and done in a few days! They kept the mess to a minimum, cleaned up when the job was completed.
That was about a year ago, recently the upstairs shower would not run cold water, only hot. So I called them out to handle the job because of the great experience during our re-pipe. Let me tell you, Armondo was sent out for the job, he is the best!!! He is a hard worker and even took his shoes off before walking on the carpet. He was friendly and explained the problem. The cartridge went bad and needed replacement, he showed me where the damage was. I will refer my neighbors, friends and family to Armondo at American-Cal! He is a kind man and won't rip you off.

Best plumber around. I called Armando to my mobile for to repair my water main going straight to my house. He arrived on time and was very professional and quick. He gave me a competitive quote ahead of time and I agreed. I thought the quote was a bit high at the time but I have since researched the job and it was very reasonable. To make a long story short he was able to complete the job much quicker than we thought and with minimal parts. We spoke about how I was helping my father sell his house and he let me know that his father had just passed away a few months ago and he wished he was able to to do more for him. Wow! This has been such a great experience. I 100% recommend Ameri-cal Re-pipe & Plumbing for all your repiping and plumbing needs.

I was recommended by my electrician, who is doing a full electrical rewire of my house, to look into re-piping my water pipes while the walls were open. I agreed, so I looked on yelp and found Ameri-Cal repiping. I saw that Ameri-Cal had great reviews so I sent a message on yelp on a Saturday evening and I got a reply from Toby right away. That night, I chatted with Toby and he gave me a very fair estimate. And we agreed to meet at the house the next morning to walk through what needed to be done. Toby answered all my questions, gave recommendations, and provided a contract. There was no pressure, he left the contract, I told him that I would have to think about it, but it only took me a few hours to call him back to confirm the job. I just couldn't think of any reason to not go with Ameri-Cal plumbing.

There are definitely a lot of details I'm missing, such as talking to Toby on the phone for an hour+ about installing a water softener, or different piping options. Or how Toby came on site several times to answer more questions, and check out the house layout.

Now for the day of the re-piping, like I mentioned, I called on Saturday, and the job was set for Tuesday. The work crew was large, I'm thinking about 6 people. They meant business. They arrived exactly at 8am, they dug up the front yard to install the new main pipe before I even knew they arrived. It was pouring rain, but that didn't slow them down. They repiped my whole house, and added water spigots, water line for the refrigerator, moved the water heater outside the house, including moving the gas line and installing the water heater housing and exhaust pipe. Everything was done by 5pm. I had the work inspected by the city inspector a couple of days later and there were absolutely no issues.

I opted to patch the hole made into the drywall myself, but the crew definitely cut nice and even patches to quickly patch. kudos to them!

I just went to the house today and saw their stucco patch work and it was amazing. They went way beyond my expectations.

Anywho, like I said. This was a great experience. Toby was easy to talk to, provided a lot of information. No pressure at all. Very fair prices and professional work.

Having your home repiped is no simple matter. There are several firms striving to get the job and the price quotes vary. In my case a representative from each of several came to my house and presented what seemed to be near identical proposals. At this point, let the buyer beware! This is an intricate job and there are many opportunities to make an error or to perform shoddy work. Look for information on the web before you choose. I chose AmeriCal and I couldn't have been more satisfied.

Alfonso and his team arrived right on schedule and went to work. My home furnishings were covered and openings were made in the walls. Except for a short lunch break it seemed that the team worked feverishly at their job. In all they cut over 100 openings in the walls of my home, finishing the installation of new pipes at 8:30 PM . Over two more days the plasterers did an awesome job of sealing the openings that doesn't show that the openings had been made. I was quite surprised at how well they blended the repairs with the existing walls.

Afterwards, I did have a couple problems with the newly installed hot water circulator. Alfonso to the rescue. He responded quickly to my problem and changed the circulator without hesitation. His work was fast, neat, and effective. He provided the workmanship that I expected and I cannot give him adequate praise.

In my communication with AmeriCal, I received rapid and concerned responses. This is the company to use.

This company is the real deal and awesome to work with. After several copper pipe leaks in our home that we kept trying to patch up over the years, we finally decided to go for the full Repipe job. We researched and got quotes from at least 4 different companies. Paul came out for the quote and gave us a competitive bid. What made the difference is that this company has really good communications with the customer. Every time I had a question, it was promptly responded by email or when I called the office there was always an actual person to answer your call. Toby, Ryan and Joyce responded to my calls every time.
When it came time to actually do our Repipe project with them, the crew was on time, professional and cleaned up their work. 1st day was demo, removing some old pipes and then installing new PEX piping. We decided PEX pipes because it was cheaper than copper and seems like this technology has been proven now and has good warranty, plus it's much easier for them to install PEX than copper (no welding). 2nd day, was waiting for the city inspector. He did find 3 minor things that needed to be resolved before signing off permit. Called the office and sent them pictures by text of the things the city inspector wanted fixed. They had people come and fix the items on the list the next day. 3rd day, the drywall repair crew came in and did their work well. Here's a tip: take pictures of everything because some of the things fixed for the city inspector were behind the walls after the drywall repair. When the city inspector came back I was able to show him the pictures to prove things were fixed and he signed off on the permit. Last thing, we needed Ameri-Cal to check on some plumbing items before we considered their work done and the project completed. They sent out Isaac and he did a great job to check and fix everything we requested. This company not only specializes in repiping but they actually have real plumbers that know how to do plumbing. Thanks again for a great job well done and we whole-heartedly recommended this company.

We own a condo in Laguna Niguel and the entire development is being re-piped by Ameri-Cal. This company was professional, timely, and very responsive to questions. Since there are tenants living in the condo, this added another layer of coordination to the project. One of the most honest and knowledgeable plumbing company that I've dealt with.

I had an issue with no water coming out of my shower head. I called a plumbing company nearby to come take the look. The plumber said because my pipes were old I had to re-pipe my entire house. He quoted me $3800 just to re-pipe the main lines.

Since it was a lot of money, I was referred from my cousin who is in real estate to give Ameri-Cal Repipe call to also get a quote from them. William who I spoke with was very knowledgeable and after just hearing my problem, immediately knew that my issue was just a bad shower head! I took off my shower head and water was just rushing out! I'm so disappointed the previous plumber did not even look at this and William knew immediately without even being on site. William is very honest and straight forward. I will definitely call him back for any of my plumbing needs.

After about an hour the crew arrived and used a 110 foot snake to clear my sewer line. After about an hour they were unable to clear the blockage. They gave me a few other more expensive options but was told they didn't have the equipment with them and it would have to be at a later time. I was not charged so I was not given a receipt.

I hired another plumber the following day who came out to hydro jet the main and to run a camera. A tennis ball was found and removed easily but a approximately 4 foot long section of the snake from the Ameri-Cal plumbers was found in the sewer line as well.

How do I know it was from the Ameri-Cal plumbers? I've lived in my home 20 years and the piece was found in the new construction portion and I've never had the sewer line snaked before.

UPDATE.... I contacted Ameri-Cal plumbers and after the office researched what I had explained to them they called back and offered to cover the cost of having the other plumber remove the snake from the sewer line.

It's great that the company is standing behind the work of their employees, but it would have been better if the employees had told me about losing part of their snake in my sewer line and not finding out about it from another plumber the following day.

I needed to repipe my 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath condo ASAP because of numerous pin hole leaks in my copper piping. The unit adjoining me was repiping at the same time. We called Americal from Yelp recommendations. Toby arrived for our appt. on time, provided us with a very professional and informative booklet describing ALL we needed to know about their company as well as very interesting info about Pex. They scheduled us quickly and his crew arrived on time and went to work!! Men were everywhere and I was completely repiped by the end of the day!! NOTHING in my house was damaged or ruined !! I was sooo happy! They took such good care of my house which had just been renovated 6 months prior! Every time I called or texted Toby, I received an immediate response! Toby kept me advised of time and date of next procedure, such as wall patching and what a great job they did at that! I bought a house and was doing some renovations before moving in so I decided to do a PEX re-piping to replace the existing galvanized steel water pipes from the 1960s. Tobey came out to do the quote and answered my questions during the consultation and afterwards. I got quotes from 4 other places and Ameri-Cal was the lowest at $4,450 with yelp discount (kitchen, two bathrooms, and three hose bibs). My contractor did the drywall patching so that brought down the price a bit.

Here's a couple of notes about my experience so you know what to expect:

1. The crew that did my job wasn't the most professional. I had to tell them to not play music and they were messing around a good amount.
2. They opened up a whole in my wall that ended up being the wrong spot. The hole was like 4x4 so it wasn't that big but I had to pay for my contractor to patch it.
3. They left excess piping in the crawl space.
4. Toby does the quote but he's not there when they do the work. There's a foreman who showed up a couple of hours after work started and a Crew leader. The Crew leader said he had limited English so one of the crew members had to translate, but the Crew leader's English wasn't bad so we were able to communicate directly.
5. Some of the things I went over with Toby didn't get relayed to the crew so be prepared to tell the crew about any special requirements.
6. Issues and questions will come up so I'd recommend that you be there during the work.

It's been a couple of months since they completed the job. Hot water takes about 15 seconds to arrive. I've never had PEX before so i'm not sure if that's because of the PEX or my water heater. Overall, I'd recommend Ameri-Cal.

So I had a slab leak with a galvanize pipe. Either spend $1500 patching a pipe and having another part of it burst down the line or just repipe the house for $5500. I chose the latter.

They came out and met my wife to do a quote. I was not there for the quote but something did bother me. They noted my crawl space was good and my attic was fair. Funny thing is, I have NO crawl space and NO attic. This did worry me a little bit but none the less, we booked them for a one day repiping job.

The guys came early but the foreman was late. A worker started to cover things before the foreman got there. After reviewing everything, I locked myself and my dogs in a room to stay out of there way.

Nutshell, full repiping, including main line with copper for exterior points and PEX for interior. Everything is okay but here are some issues that occurred:

With the water main, they spread the dirt all over so much that when they relaid my dirt and grass over the pipe, there is about a 3 difference BELOW GRADE. At one point, I can step DOWN into the trench and the yard is ankle height. Major safety issue!

They used sharpie to mark cuts on walls but then never cut through the wall! So I have a few walls that need to be repainted just to cover their sharpie marks!

The hot/cold was switched on my washer lines. So what should be hot is now cold and vice versa. I finally had a house that had no such issue until now!

Some photo frames were broken while they were taken down and moved around.

They tapped into a line that use to feed my water heater. They cut the line at the heater and replaced it. The problem is, if that shut off valve is opened, water will spew from a pipe cut behind the water heater.

The quality of work is good so far and they did their job but these particular things just make my painting bill more expensive (an entire bathroom needs painting instead of just patch work due to sharpies, etc.) and just adds to my honey do list. I now need to switch the water lines on the washer, find dirt and refill the trench, replace photo frames and a few other things.

Would I use them again, yes (hopefully I never have to) but I would be a little more hands on during the work.

Finally, at the end of the job, as they are getting ready to leave, they tell me there is a major leak under my bathtub that should be addressed at some point. Couldn't they grab me while the wall was open and show me so I could photograph for a plumber to see????

About a week ago, I had yet another copper pipe spring a leak in my 18 year old home. I'm in the process of remodeling and was concerned spending the money on a remodel only to have yet another leak damage things.

As such, I began to research the possibility of repiping my home. After doing a ton of research and speaking with others, I decided that a Repipe was a smart investment.

After scouring the Internet for repiping companies, I narrowed my search down to a couple of plumbing firms. Ultimately, I went with Ameri-Cal based on excellent reviews, my initial call and am in-home estimate.

My in-home estimate was done by Paul, who showed up promptly (which is a great sign) and was very professional and explained the whole process clearly. After meeting with Paul, I really felt comfortable with my choice to go with Ameri-Cal Plumbing. He thoroughly explained PEX vs Copper and provided me estimates on both.

We set up an appointment for the following Thursday at 8am. Prior to the commencement of the repipe, I received a call from Toby, who works out of their office. Toby reached out to me to gather information for the permit. Toby took care of all of the details and ensured that I had everything I needed for the city issued plumbing permit.

At about 7:55am, there was a knock at the door from the foreman, Alex. What a great guy he turned out to be! Alex walked through the house with me and explained exactly how they were going to complete the Repipe. His team of 5-6 plumbers began the job by carefully and throughly covering anything and everything in my home. They were IMMACULATE while performing the Repipe. All of Alex's team members were extremely polite, professional, and efficient. I was amazed at how fast they were able to complete the repipe and did an OUTSTANDING job! Alex was really great and kept me up posted throughout the process. Go Team Alex!!!

At the end of the day, I received another call from Toby advising that he was going to be sending a drywall/plastering team out to repair all of the holes left my the plumbers. He was able to schedule it immediately following the city inspection!!

Alfredo, not only arrived on time but was even a few minutes early!! Like with Team Alex, Alfredo's team were also every bit as professional, courteous and masterful at the art of drywalling. I could not believe how incredible of a job they did. Other than it not being painted, the patching was FLAWLESS and they matched the texture perfectly. They also covered up everything and when they were done, I truly believe that the house was cleaner than when they started!! Another words they really take the time to protect your home as if it was their own and cleaned everything up!

In conclusion, I never thought that I could have been as pleased about repiping my home as I am. At the end of the day, I feel like it was money well spent. Ameri-Cal Plumbing was very reasonably priced with Nordstrom style customer service. If you are in the market for a Repipe, you would be crazy not to use this company!!

We had Ameri-Cal handle the re-piping project at our condo complex. They recently completed the work on my unit and I wanted to post this postitive review. One of their representatives did a walkthru first to show us exactly where they would be working and what I needed to do in preperation. The plumbers and workmen who came the first day to cut holes in drywall to access the pipes put dropcloths and plastic everywhere they worked to minimize the dust and debris. They completed the re-piping in my unit in one day, cleaned up after themselves, and were out of the unit by close of business. After the city inspector verified the work was done right, the drywall crew came to patch the holes. They were just as careful putting dropcloths down and they also completed their work quickly and professionally in one day. We had Ameri-Cal plumbers install two new toilets for us on the last day. Their plumbers showed up on time, were pleasant and professional, and completed the work quickly. I'm happy to recommend Ameri-Cal to anyone.

How do you have a good experience when you repipe? It's do-able. Two slab leaks at the same time and I wasted no time in making the decision to repipe with Pex for our new home. My neighbor said she had an incredible experience with Ameri-Cal and I called that day, Paul came out the next day and two days later we had the crew in. Ryan from the office helped talk me off the stress ledge and was very thorough with the process. The team showed up on-time, and so efficient. They actually caught a leak that was also happening in a drain pipe - that would have been a nightmare had it not been seen and handled (which they did) and then they checked all other drain pipes to make us feel at ease. They were done with our 2800sq ft home by 2pm. The drywall team was beyond expectations -- just wow! Perfection. Both of these teams were a pleasure to have in our home. They treated us and our kids with absolute professionalism and they were kid gloving our home.

Nobody really wants to repipe, but you can't beat the experience that Ameri-Cal offers and their pricing was better than anyones (I don't care what anyone says about the big brand repipe group, get your quotes if you need to prove it to yourself).

I was referred to Ameri-Cal by a neighbor. We decided we needed a complete re-pipe after our second pipe burst in 2 years. From the beginning they were very professional. Paul, took us through the process and explained how some incremental work we wanted done would be handled.

This review is for Armando. Called around and others just gave me a quote over the phone but the company actually sent someone out for free to take a look at my water heater and the pipes to verify what the problem was. They sent Armando and he was really nice and was very accommodating. It was around 4 when he came out and I told him I would call him back to confirm if I wanted them to do the work and I called around 5 PM which was almost closing. He went out of his way to go to the storage to pick up the new water heater and was at my house by 6 to install. When I called around to the other companies, they said their next appointment was in 2 days but Armando did it same day within one hour. I'm so grateful and I highly recommend him!!

We spent around $9,000 for full copper repipe of our house including the main supply line from the city. But ever since the repipe, noise from one of the bathroom shower is so loud that all the bedrooms around it can hear it. It sounds like an airplane taking off every time the shower is on.

The shower faucet is brand new as well and I tested taking off all the faucet parts to make sure it wasn't bad diverter valve or spout making the unbearable loud noise. They kept giving BS excuses like saying the noise is from poor insulation in the wall and high water pressure. Yeah sure, our house from the '60s is old and have no insulation in the wall, but that doesn't explain why our shower was perfectly fine before the repipe, and the other shower doesn't make this noise. Turned down the whole house water pressure and noise is still present. Was really hoping to finally able to recommend a well-reviewed company to my friends but this just is too much. We'll have to find another company to open up the wall again to see what they did with the pipes to cause so much jet engine noise.

We needed a PEX re-pipe and new water heater for the home we recently purchased. A friend/co-worker suggested I call Ameri-Cal as he used them for his re-pipe. Ameri-Cal sent out an estimator within a couple days. The price quote we received was less than what we thought it would be so we booked Ameri-Cal to do the job.
The crew showed up on time and covered all areas where the work would be done. I will say that you need to be prepared for lots of holes in your walls (over 50 in my case), and lots of noise. The crew went to work right away, they shut off our water at approximately 8am, and by about 5pm, we had water flowing in our new PEX piping. The new water heater worked great too.
The drywall/patching crew arrived a couple days later and dry walled and textured all the holes in a matter of a couple days. The texturing was so exact, you cannot tell there were any holes in our walls.
Overall, they did great work in an efficient manner and they warranty their work as well. I have already referred my friends to Ameri-Cal Repipe & Plumbing and will continue to do so. Re-piping is not a pleasant or cheap experience to go through, but if you want it done right and quickly, I suggest calling Ameri-Cal.

If you need to repipe your home, this is the greatest company! I did my research, called a few other 5 star companies and met with all of them. This company was the first to respond, within hours!! Paul was the only one who used to be a plumber, knows what is needed and is not just a salesman, as a few are. We decided on Pex over copper, also after having done a lot of research on the two. We had a slab leak in the kitchen and just decided to repipe. Paul layed it out, gave us a great price and set everything up to start asap. David came out with his crew of 5 others, they started at 8:30 and were done by 3. Everything was taped off, covered and there was no mess whatsoever. Permit was pulled the next day since there was a holiday and the inspector came out day after. The drywaller, Macario, is excellent!!! I had read some of these reviews about messes and were not looking forward to that. He really covered more than the plumbers did - tape and plastic!! He started at 9 and stayed until about 6:30 to finish up. His taping and coating are excellent, even on the smooth surfaces. The texture looks just like the existing wall !! I would highly recommend this company as I was very pleased and I'm a hard one to please. Their set up and clean up was meticulous!! My husband is a general contractor and I'm a Realtor and therefore the two of us are very analytical and picky people, wanting it perfect...........and I feel this is!!

Recommending these guys is no problem at all. Toby went way out of his way to accommodate my hot water heater needs (even on New Years). They did not have to go out of their way for me but they did. I would say that Toby spent about 3 hours finding the heater that i needed. Not an easy task on new years. Sam came out the same day to replace my water heater. He was so courteous, professional, clean and knowledgable. Their pricing was not the cheapest but very fair. what i lost in the budget was made up in the service. I've used Ameri-Cal to repipe our house with pex back in 2020. I was extremely happy with their quality of work, service, maintaining their schedule, and follow up support. We had a gas leak in our stove, it's probably been going on a while but we just got our bill and it was way higher than normal. We requested these guys to come out an stake a look. Within minutes of my online request, I got a text for more information. I appreciate communicating through text in this day and age it's my preferred method so I loved that! Anyway in less than an hour (awesome response time!) they send over Isaac, who was very courteous and put on show covers before coming in. He was able to find and fix the problem in our stove right away. It was $150, which I feel like is a small price to pay for not dying in my sleep or accidentally blowing our house up. Issac was also kind enough to check on our water heater at the last minute and give us some info on that. Thanks for the quick and efficient service!

Ameri-Cal has been our go-to company for all our plumbing needs. Back in 2003 my main line broke and they fixed it immediately. As my home is around 30 years old, other water problems started to arise. About 2 years later the pipes in my bathroom broke and water filled my son's nursery. We were devastated and thought we had to break our foundation to repair the problem. Ameri-Cal was able to detect the leak between the wall adjoining my bathroom and nursery. Since my bathroom was made of tile, we didn't want to break our beautiful tile to fix the leak. So they repaired the problem from the back wall which was drywall in my son's nursery. They showed us pieces of our corroding pipes and informed us that they were all installed at the same time. So eventually we would have more leaks as they wear over time in different places. From experience, I knew they were right. First my main line broke and now random leaks. So I went ahead and did a re-pipe through the ceiling. From then until now, I have not had any plumbing problems. They did an excellent and professional job, not to mention their wonderful cleanup afterwards. I highly recommend Ameri-Cal for your plumbing needs and have referred them several times, including my mother-in-law who is extremely pickey. She liked their service and said they did an excellent and clean job. Thanks Ameri-Cal for helping us in our time of emergency. Your service is unsurpassed.

I really wanted to give Ameri-Cal 5 Stars, I did. Especially with the great service we got from Toby. He was quick to respond, helpful when we met, and very respectful. But, after the company completed the repipe two things happened. First, our sink plug was not properly reinstalled after the repipe was completed. So, it took a few weeks for them to send someone back out to our home to fix it. Second, after the repipe we realized that some of the pipes had not been properly tied down, therefore each time we turned on/off water the pipes would make a loose vibrating sound! It has been real frustrating and annoying as the holes have already been repatched and painted up and this is something that we will have to live with hearing in the future.

Ameri-Cal Plumbing just completed copper re-pipe of our 47 year old home in Orange. The whole process was as smooth as can be. Paul came out and gave us a free estimate and was a no pressure salesman. Weeks late we decided to contract with Ameri-Cal. After extensive research from my wife, we decided to go with Ameri-Cal since they have been in business for a long time; 17 years.They guarantee their work for life. How many companies can offer that and how many will still be around should you have a problem down the line? Paul came out and gave us a quote. He is confident, easy to talk to, and just a very good guy. He was not pushy salesman at all. One of the few companies that gave us a folder with useful information about piping, material they use, their company history, and even references we can call. They are on Angie's list as well. We felt really good going with Ameri-Cal. Alex and his team came out early and started the repiping as scheduled. They taped paper on the floor and plastic around the furnitures. They replaced all the shut off valves under the sinks and toilets. They even change the shower kit for us. Next day was the city inspection. We had a challenging inspector but with Paul's help, the inspection went through just fine. Next day was the patch crew. They did a good job as well. Paul always replies to our text messages within minutes. He was in contact with us every step of the way. Another benifit to go with American-Cal is that we get the city inspection certificate that our house has been repiped. This is good should we sell the house one day. Many plumbers or other companies don't offer this for they take shortcuts to avoid the city inspection. This was worked in our quote and yes it does cost a couple hundred dollars for the city to come out and do this. Many of my neighbors had their house repiped due to bad pipes and slab leaks. We had 3 in 4 years. I would recommend Paul and Ameri-Cal to anyone and everyone. I can say we got the best deal out of all my neighbors.

America-Cal recently repiped my house. Beginning with Paul's initial visit and continuing, the work was done in an extremely professional manner. Both the repiping and patch crews took care to get everything right and were very customer friendly. For a crew that probably repipes five homes a week, 25 a month, it seemed that everyone was trying to do the best job possible.
I received four quotes and Ameri-Cal was competitive. Though walls in my house were cut open and the noise of hammers made me cringe, the house was left clean and the crew that patched the drywall did an excellent job, leaving the house in near perfect condition and ready to paint.
I highly recommend America-Cal.

So, these guys are amazing. This is gonna be kind of long so here's the short vereion. Fast quote, quality work and amazing speed. Their team arrived day 1 of a full repipe job including the main and the water was back on for the whole house by 6pm. This blew my mind.

Up here in Lake Arrowhead, plumbers and tradesman in general were so backed up with work we were getting quotes to start 3 weeks out after a major leak into the foundation of our 1960s three story craftsman necessitated a full repipe of all the original galvanized piping.

A day after I called, Toby drove out and laid out a plan for replacing everything with PEX (the good stuff too, Uponor with compression fittings), including digging out my original and heavily corroded main water line and replacing with a thick copper pipe. Even before the Military discount and the Yelp special they had going on, the quote for this came in very competitive.

A few days after the original survey, Alfonso and his
team roll in and somehow have the entire houses plumbing completely replaced with fully insulated PEX by 6pm. Even the main line was somehow replaced day 1, with the digging 30' down through my concrete driveway and everything. It was amazing to see. They even added a few extra outdoor hose bibs and a area for a future kitchenette and fridge ice maker line etc which were last minute add-ons. 10/10. Did I mention they insulated damn near every inch of that piping with half inch insulation?
I am not worried about pipes bursting at all now.
Other then the holes in the drywall and the cut out driveway sections.. by the end of the day you couldn't even tell they had been there in other sections due to how well they had plasticed everything off.

After the work passed inspection by the county, the repair guys did a phenomenal job repairing the drywall in all 3 floors and matching the various texture well. They left it primed and super easy for us to paint, at our request (good excuse to change colors).

The driveway took a bit longer to get finished due to inspector availability (I did mention how busy up here everyone seems to be), but once it passed they did a great job redoing the drive and it's been solid for weeks now through even the first freezing temps of the season.

We went from only being able to use one shower at s time to being able to run every single faucet and shower simultaneously without pressure drop. If you're thinking of a repipe or need it like we did.. call these guys they are fantastic!
