My name is Nathan, I started Always Affordable Plumbing in 2015 and have over 19 years in the service plumbing industry. I have worked for many companies over the years and seen the negativity. My wife and I are doing multiple home remodels projects at our home from hardwood floors to window blinds and painting the interior. We have utilized many different contractors for different jobs the past month. I would like to start this review with complimenting two employees in your office Marlene and Anna. After I made my first initial call to Always Affordable Plumbing: Marlene was able to fit me in right away for a service call regarding needing a new garbage disposal and leak from my kitchen sink looked at. Over the next two days i spoke to Marlene and Anna who both were very nice, polite and made sure I was aware of when the Plumber would be arriving at my house. We were playing phone tag a few times but they both reached out and showed they care. I received an email ,texts, and spoke to both them. This is how a company from the start should work with their customers to have a great rapport and keep a new customer coming back to them. There are so many companies now that dont follow up or show great customer service as the two of them did.
Plumber Troy B. was dispatched to my home and welcomed and introduced himself at the front door. I showed him the issue with the leaks and garbage disposal. He ran to home depot to get a new disposal unit, came back and in less then 15 mins fixed the underside plumbing in the kitchen. He had a great personality, customer service oriented and did several tests of the plumbing before leaving my home. All 3 employees deserve a kudos and I will be coming back to your company for plumbing issues in the future. Keep up the great work!
I was referred to these guys by a plumber I used before; and twice Andrew has come to help fix our home sewer main line. The first time they cleaned the line out, then I had them come out to replace the cleanout connection--haven't had a problem since. Andrew is very knowledgeable and professional. I will definitely be using Always Affordable for my home plumbing issues in the future. I definitely recommend them.

We had an emergency on the 4th of July (main shut off valve burst at the seam) and Jesus came out on short notice with no complaints. He did a clean replacement and spent the extra time to make sure there were no leaks.
The water district refused to come back out to turn our water back on, but Jesus put in the extra effort to get the valve turned back on, which was no small task!

This company put in our new water heater and everything works perfect. Our family was very happy with Jeff as he completed the job even though all the parts were not with the water heater. How frustrating is that for the installer??? Near 5 pm, he left and drove through traffic to Home Depot across town and got the parts to finish the job so our family could have hot water that night. Wow!!!!!! Most people would of gave up and said they back in the morning but Jeff went out of his way and we really appreciate his OUTSTANDING effort. We recommend Always Affordable Plumbing and we will make sure everyone knows....

We had already purchased a Delta-Leland single-handle kitchen faucet, when I called to get an installation quote from Always Affordable Plumbing. They couldn't quote over the phone, so a plumber came to our home to give us the quote.
We were so impressed with the plumber, Francisco, and the quote, that we had him proceed with installing our faucet. I had planned, as usual, to get at least two other quotes.
Francisco was knowledgeable, thorough, careful and very professional. I highly recommend this plumbing company. Further, I was able to get a senior discount applied to the cost....which made it even more affordable.
Always Affordable Plumbing is an excellent honest and affordable business. I was notified by the City that I had a very large underground leak just below the main shut-off to my house. I was very frustrated by the confusing advice by other plumbing companies who came over the weekend. I called Always Affordable Plumbing on Monday, the plumber there listened patiently. He explained I only needed one plumber to find the leak and fix it. I didn't need a leak detection service. He said I did not need to be home because the work was outside my house. He sent out a plumber who kept in touch with me, told me the location of the leak, explained another problem he found, his recommendation and price. I okayed the work, and then called the company to pay over the phone. When I returned home, the ground was very neat and the other work was well done. I highly recommend this business.
Andrew always answers my question. He is very helpful and knowledgeable. Randy, a plumbing technician came over to inspect a sewer plumbing issue. He did a great job and was very knowledgeable and helpful too. Stephen came over to inspect my heating system and was very professional and knowledgeable. Thank you so much!!

These guys were great. I have had them out twice now, the first time because I thought I had a problem and the second because I realized I needed the experts. Both guys that came out, Jeremy the first time and Mike the second time, were professional and quick. I got a quote for some other work which isn't something that needs done right away and I plan to use them for that when I'm ready.
Loves that the tech wore his mask because safety is #1 due to COVID. And the tech James was so friendly and he listened to me not blew me off. He had a great personality and made me laugh. He was clear on explaining things and how they work or not work. He showed me the estimate and he was super clean no mess to clean up behind! . A great experience! I would recommend them !
I've probably rated this company before but I must post this because they've come through for me once again. Andrew came out this morning and got two toilets fixed, including replacing every part inside the back part and the part that connects to the wall on both of them. We also had a leak in our kitchen sink which turned out to be much more complex than anticipated for everyone. We have a water filtration system and an instant hot water faucet installed in that sink as well, and Andrew discovered that the sink had been converted into what it is now from something different, making everything very complicated. Not only that but since the main water faucet had been leaking for so long, the corrosion was too extreme for the parts to be easily removed and replaced. Another technician ended up having to come out to assist and even with two people they were having a hell of a time. Regardless, they persisted and now we have a beautiful brand new faucet, no leaks, and knowledge about how the filtration and hot water system is set up that we didn't have before. I had to come write a review to emphasize how much I appreciate both technicians, and especially Andrew, who was there essentially from 9am to 5pm working on everything. You guys always have such great attitudes and are so professional. Thank you!!

I was dreading calling a plumber but I really didn't have a way of fixing my under sink leak by myself. I called and Nate was so nice and patient with my concerns. He was able to make it out to my home that afternoon even though it was way after 630pm. He was fast, professional, and even helped me clean up the mess from my leak.
I'm a big supporter of local business's I would certainly recommend his services to family and friends! Thanks Nate..no more leaking!
This company is very ethical and friendly. By far the best plumbing company in Sacramento. Don't bother calling around just call AAP.
35 days ago we hired him to run a copper pipe from the street to the house in the Sacramento Pocket area. To this day, it still leaks at the house to where he connected it. We have called no less than 5-times, each time he said he would send a plumber to fix it, but that was just lies - it is still dripping and wasting water, sending my utility bill sky high. He even repaired a sprinkler head to which it is now a mess of pvc piping exposed to the elements, high above the ground, in a tangled mess. Where they went under the sidewalk by the house they did not back fill properly, and thus the entire cement slab has now sunk 1.5 inches causing a tripping hazard in two spots for anyone approaching the front door. I also had to hire a person to put back the decorative large rocks and planters after they had moved them out of the way to trench.
Used this company several times. They replaced my hydronic water heater.
I've had them do maintenance on my air conditioning unit.

Andrew Martin was great. He went through the home's plumbing system meticulously to insure the leak was present in the homes sub-surface plumbing system. He was great with the homeowner and showed exemplary customer service. He made sure his boot covers were on his feet every time he went in and out of the home. Thank you very much Andrew. I was referred to AAP by Home Advisor. We had a couple of small jobs. The first was to replace a toilet with one we had purchased. I will say the service was prompt, the tech was here one day after our request. He finished the job in just over an hour, and all was well. We were satisfied with the job, and he cleaned up and took the old toilet away. The total charge was $240.
Next, I asked how much would the charge be to replace the faucet in the kitchen sink. His answer was $240. That's an additional charge! I would think that since he was already here, and the job would take less than an hour he might charge another $50 or so. Even up to $100, I might have had him do it. So I did it myself in about an hour.
Also I asked about replacing some washers in a dripping faucet in the bathtub, but he said he probably couldn't fix it. The only option, he said, was to tear open the wall and replace them to the tune of over $1,000.

We are selling our home, and had a lot of stuff that needed to be taken care of before closing. Nick came out and was here for 8 hours, but he got everything done in a timely manner, even though he had to spend most of the day under our house in 108 degree heat! He was courteous and conscientious - couldn't ask for more! We will use Always Affordable if we have a need in our new place. They are our new go to for all plumbing needs!

This company is the best. Nathan is the best. My Aunt's main water pipe broke and we were in a panic on how to get it fixed. We had to turn her water off. This was on Saturday on the 4th of July. We went on Home Adviser to find a plumber and we were having to wait until Monday or Tuesday before anyone would come out to help us. Nathan came that same day on Saturday on the 4th of July, at no charge to help us. We had a good feeling about this guy, and we decided to hire him, and I'm glad we did. This was no easy task because we live in Rocklin and many older homes are built on huge rocks and boulders. Nathan had to figure out how to deal with this major problem. He was great. He got the job done. He did a fantastic job and got it done in a timely manner. He knows his stuff and more importantly he is reliable, honest and doesn't over charge. I recommend him 100%.
We had an excellent experience with Richmond, our issue was solved quickly and we are so relieved to have had such a professional help us out. Thanks again!

Curtis was great,(Terrible with remembering names but I believe that was it),got here and got to work quickly clearing the sewer line, he was very thorough and professional.
Highly recommend these guys and will definitely use their services in the future for any other future needs.
Complete failure to communicate. We had an appointment this morning between 8-9am. Husband and I both have confirmation text messages with the 8-9am time window from them. Nobody called/ communicated or showed up, so I called after 9am to get an updated ETA. The receptionist stated the appointment is really for 8-10 am (even though both of our phones were texted with a shorter time window), she said the tech would be arriving within 20-30 minutes. We still have not been communicated with since, and their extended time window of 8-10am has since passed.
We used their services last year, and were incredibly satisfied with their communication and work. Something has obviously changed since then.
This has been a very frustrating waste of our time. My husband took time off work to accommodate this appointment. They've stood us up. We cannot afford to miss work, as we are expecting our first child in 3 weeks.
I would reccomend future clients to seek services elsewhere if you value your time.
Andrew and Mike are phenomenal! Not only are they extremely knowledgeable about plumbing and home repair, but they are honest and hardworking. When we had another horrible company out 4 times and the problem was still not fixed....5 days with no gas, we called Always Affordable Plumbing desperate for answers. They were here under a hour and had it fixed. Thank you Andrew for valuable honest advice and all the hard work.

If you won't honest service I would definitely Go with them and ASK for Andrew he was a BIG help ..
This is one of the good ones, they stuck by me through a difficult difficult water heater, the tech is a guy named Greg and he is a workhorse and an expert, he made sure it was done right leaving nothing to chance and even went as far as to fix a couple of other leaks.
The owners a guy by the name of Nathan and he is a man of his word and also researched the job to make sure it was up to code.
I am only going to use this company because the integrity and honesty of these gentleman make me a customer for life.

Very helpful and reliable. We had them come out because we had an issue with our sink leaking in the bathroom. They found out our vanity top had previously been broken and sealed improperly. We then had them demo our old vanity abs replace our new one. They had to come out a couple of times (the vanity top we purchased ended up not fitting, nothing they did), but they were great each time they came out and worked with us on scheduling. They were friendly, reliable, and we will definitely be using them if we have any other issues in the future!

PLEASE! Do not hire this company. They charged me 200 to unclog a toilet but they did not get it uncloged. They did not go all the way to the street and I kept having problems which I tried to fix myself. They were not even in the right cleanout. I called them back out 2 weeks later and was told it must be a belly or roots in the pipe. This company does not offer any type of warranty. They wanted to put a camera down the pipe. I went to another company which did use a camera and found the pipes were very good, no bellies or roots. I think the first guy mentioned suggested roots in his report so they would not have to fix their mistake. Now I have a video of my pipes and a 1 year warranty.

There isn't any way that I could be happier with Always Affordable Plumbing.
We got off to a rocky start where I left a one star review, but they were determined to make things right by me, and they did. Not only was the work they performed top notch, it was easily the best price that I found.
They have a forever customer in me.
Curtis did a great job. I am happy with the work that was done and would recommend them to friends and family.
Had service done on very short notice today, successful fix indeed. Jesus V. was very professional and very fast all while being extremely thorough and going above and beyond service expectations. If this is the kind of service I can expect every time, you have a customer for life. Thank you for sending someone with the knowledge and drive to do it right the first time.
Honest! Knowledgeable! Prompt! I woke up to a leak between my main house shut off valve and the street side water meter. There was a lake of water under my house. I had several plumbers come take a look. I got bids from between $600 and $5,700. Mike Killeen showed up around 1:30 and told me very honestly: I think I know where the leak is, I've seen this before. It will take two hours at $165/hr for me to dig down, expose the leak, and repair it. If I dig and can't find it, it will cost more, but I will give you a new estimate at that time. I decided to gamble the $310 dollars since it was better than all the other estimates and I figured at a minimum I would at least eliminate one source of the leak. Fast forward 4 hours. Mike found the leak (he was right all along) the pipe was repaired and my wife had water to take a shower again. Total cost was $375. He stuck to his two hour estimate but charged me for a part he had to buy at Home Depot. I was happy to pay for it. These guys are honest, reliable, and very knowledgeable. He didn't mind me hovering around him all afternoon and I got an education on the finer points of home plumbing and sewer drains at no extra cost. Will definitively use these guys again.
Just got an estimate for over 2 grand just to swap out a water heater!! And I was even supplying the water heater!!! This is at most a 2 hour job, what a ripoff never calling again. The plumber I normally use only charges $500 but he was busy when I needed him
This company came bye for three days to fix the plumbing and the toilet.
First the plumber in the transit van came bye himself for almost several hours. Playing with the water horse and walking back and fourth observing the house and area. However didn't fix the plumbing issues
Came back the second day with another guy and was laughing and talking very loud in the house like they were about to score a touch down or something
Everybody stayed in there room since it all ladies and two plumbing men laughing and talking while they playing with tools and the bathroom however the job was not complete or done
So the third day the landlord came an act so upset about paying for plumbing 1000s dollars and request for better service and ask for refund and had a older men in Old ford truck sprayed chemical and supposedly fix the plumbing toilet issues.
I just hope everyone stay caution and be aware of men who are MAINTENANCE WORKER cause my mom was home bye self and the men just seem a strange and was watching plus the neighbor next door seem like they were part of this cause they both came with work truck and drove off at the same time plus left Black gloves on the side walk
The plumbers continue to walk back and fourth observing and not fixing the plumbing problems
Plus the landlord seem like he was so upset and mad so I'm just writing a review cause men pray on women and something not Wright

When I called to schedule my appt, I was quoted $55 an hour for service, with a $69 service call that would be applied to the service, if I chose to have them do it.
The CS rep was very nice and professional. However, when the servicemen arrived, he said it would cost $200 and stated that price was based on service type vs hourly.
We'll, turns out he just replaced one part, which meant simply removing the screw with a wrench (admittedly, it was a bit stuck and not easy to get off immediately). However, it didn't really take more than a few more tries (ie. Minutes) for it to come off and another few minutes to replace the part, which we already had.
All in all, the job took about 10-15 minutes, and I was charged over $219 dollars. I believe we should pay for the service we receive, but this felt really scammy for them to charge that much for the amount of time and simplicity of the job.

This is an odd review because I didn't get work done by this company. I got a quote. They sent somebody out who was very nice and they called me back several times to leave me information I asked for. Their prices were very reasonable. I'm keeping their card and am planning to use them in the future.
I had a leak with my coming from my water main and have had my water out for a couple days while our maintenance man for the complex looked at it. I got tired of waiting and called Always Affordable plumbing. The came to my home in 30 minutes after I called. Andrew and Boston we very professional and dealt with my issue quickly and let me know what they would be doing. no hidden fees. Did exactly what they said they were going to do. They were absolutely amazing and I will definitely use them again.

My technician Josh showed up right before 9am on a Sunday to a geyser in my front yard from my sprinkler system busting and going haywire due to high water pressure. My window was from 9-11am, I called at 8am and was promptly called back and scheduled immediately! I was grateful and impressed by the punctuality, communication and alerts prior. The dispatcher was great as was the technician. Josh K. Was understanding, hard-working, explained everything to me professionally and with compassion (it was a stressful situation I was uneducated on and he was patient, kind, and to the point which I really appreciate!) and abided by covid-19 precautions as well! Thank you guys for coming so quickly and dealing with my issue right away, I would definitely recommend this company- especially in an emergency! Mike came out for a list of plumbing issues and saved me a lot of money and time. Fidelity Home Warranty seems to pick the best service people . Since I pay one Copay he was willing to look at three problems . He fixed one, told me what to buy and install to prevent problems in future on second and taught me how to get what I needed on a specialized faucet. I am keeping this number for future projects!

It's Labor Day evening and our AC stopped working when it hit 112. The fan wasn't spinning, and it was blowing really warm air. I called and left a msg. Nathan called me back about 20 min later and was able to come out. He started with the fuses and as soon as he unplugged and plugged them back in, the fan kicked on and never shut off for the whole hour he was there. He found the motor running hot and gave me a decent quote. Because it was after hours he promised to be back the next day with a new fan/motor. Unfortunately the fan died and blew a fuse around 11pm and we woke up to a not so pleasant house. By lunch time, Nathan and his partner were at the house and the AC was back up and running. By the time I had gotten home it wasn't working again. I called and even though his work truck was overheating, he came right back. Somehow one of the wires to the fuse box was loose. This may not have been any fault of his own but he still took responsibility and fixed it. He also left me a couple of fuses incase it blew again. Later that night he text me to make sure we were still good and we were. And as asked, I also followed up with him in the morning.
While Nathan was here, he walked me through everything he was testing, explaining all the numbers and what was what. All the while I was relaying this info to my brother in law (who lives 2 hours away and is a 20 year HVAC vet), and everything he was saying and doing 100% checked out... down to the price he quoted me. This is what I call exemplary service. It's so hard finding repairmen who are honest and won't try to rip you off. So again, Nathan - THANK YOU! Our family appreciates you and we'll be using your company again in the future.
They quote $135/HR, 3 hour minimum but they don't say they have 2 guys there so it is really $810 minimum charge for 2 hours of work. Ouch!
I can't say enough about the service rendered. The two men were prompt, diligent, professional and proactive. My Autistic son can't thank your men enough either. He has a strict schedule of life and a short couple of hours later and the initial issue was over and for a fair price a few other maintenance issues attended too. Great experience (as great at is can get with backed up beef stew coming out of your laundry pipes...ugh!) Nathan was professional, friendly, and spent much more time ensuring the job was done well than ANY other plumbing service I have utilized in the past,,,including the big franchise plumbing operations. We have used Always Affordable for a few plumbing repairs and have been completely satisfied. They are prompt, always answer the phone, show up when they say they will and have always made certain you are happy with the work.

I had a leak under the kitchen sick and the home warranty company sent Always Affordable Plumbing. Mark Sherman was the technician they sent out for the repair. Turns out my garbage disposal needed to be replaced. It was almost 5 o'clock and I was expecting the technician to tell me he would need to come back another day because he didn't have the part.
But Mark called for authorization and replaced the disposal. He is very courteous and knowledgeable. Thank you for your excellent customer service Mark!!!

We have had AAP do a couple small jobs for us and 1 major one. Nate (the owner) was great to work with and a stand up guy. Plumbing issues at your home are never fun and it's scary when you don't know what company to trust. You can trust Nate at Always Affordable Plumbing, he will be honest with you and won't play games.
Angelo tried to rip me off! He tried to charge me over $1,200, that's including a new faucet and garbage disposal. I said that it would be alot cheaper if I bought them myself which he insisted on him getting them. So, I bought them myself which cost me only $330. I found a plumber to do it for $200. Total: $550 far from $1,200. You do the math.

This would have been zero. Please explain to me how replacing 3 standard bathroom faucets are $1000? Explain to me this? Not only does this company offer a very strong bait-switch model, they had no intention of doing the work. They are a scam! They charge you a service fee of $60 to come out and offer to overly price repair something, Knowing that is not going to happen, they then walk away with $60. Do this 20-30 times a day, and you never have to really do any plumbing. Steer clear of this scam!

I was super impressed at the amazing customer service I received from Always Affordable Plumbing. My water heater in my rental broke and was leaking all over the garage. My new tenants had recently moved in and several of their unpacked boxes were damaged from the water. My Home Warranty company was not going to be able to order the water heater for a week. My tenants were having company and obviously could not be without hot water! (Thankfully Rocklin was in a heat wave, which helped!) Nathan assured me that their team would be out the same day to replace the water heater. He worked with me on the cost of repair, since I had to fix it and pay cash before the Home Warranty could step in. His entire team was amazing and were there for me in this crisis - as I live down in San Diego - so I was not able to be at the home to assess the damage. The employees kept me informed on what needed to be done and when they would be arriving and everything else I needed to know during the repair process. I cannot say enough positive things about AAP. They simply rock and have earned my business for any future needs. I would NOT hesitate to refer them to anyone.... I was amazed that they were able to help me, especially going into a holiday weekend. It's companies like this that make me have faith in customer service!!!
I called to get an outside faucet fixed. They not only charge a $60 service fee but the technician told me it would be $217 to change it and that if damage was done when removing it he would have to charge me more. He didn't even touch the faucet or tell me how he was going to try to fix it.
Since there was not an exact price I declined the service. I didn't want to be charged more if he had trouble removing it.
Long story short, I paid $60 just so someone could tell me to fix my faucet!
I want to recommend Always Affordable Plumbing to you. In particular Drew was very professional in the work and customer service he provided. I've used the company several times and always asked for Drew. Thanks Drew for another job well done.
We needed two new toilets so called a few places and AAP responded the quickest. I gave them the type of toilet needed and they sent Curtis out. He was very honest about the problems with our floors and which toilets would work best. He did a great job shimmying them both even. We liked their job so much we've got them coming back to put new bathroom sinks in too!

to schedule an early Sunday work. Dylan was at my house by 8:30 AM and provided me a reasonable quote on fixing my sewer pipe problem by the cleanup valve. My sewer problem was fixed in less than 2 hours with replacing part of the drain pipe full of tree roots. Highly recommend Always Affordable Plumbing. Very professional service provided by Stacey and Dylan.
Jesus Rosario Sr. was my Technician, Mr. Rosario arrived ahead of schedule and was very professional. His knowledge of the job was evident in his explanation of the task at hand, I had talk with several Technicians, but we felt comfortable with his experience and the price which he quoted us that was less than half of the previous Technicians quotes. Always Affordable Plumbing, you get experienced, professional, timely Technicians, at an affordable price.
Fast response, same day service, got the job done at a reasonable price and provided photo and video documentation. 30 day warranty on labor. $232.75 to replace a leaking ptrap under my kitchen sink.
Overall I had a great experience with Always Affordable Plumbing. I mainly wanted someone who could get the job done with a fair and reasonable price. Based on their NAME and past reviews, I took a bet on these guys. I say I took a bet, because they still charge $60 for a consultation. If you go with them after the consultation, they won't charge you for it. But if you go w another business after their consultation, they'll charge you.
I get why-- it cost time and gas for someone to come over and diagnose a problem. But if you have to pay $60 for someone to even look at the problem...you're probably going to have to go with them or you're out another $60. There's really no shopping around, so I have to make sure these guys weren't going to charge me an arm and a leg.
I found another business that quoted me $225, I would've gone w them but they responded after I already had these guys at the house. Good to know I was within a similar quoted price range though.
Will consider them again for future troubles.

This company was called in to fix and or replace water heater through our home warranty program. They call me to schedule an appointment and say the earliest they could get out is tuesday....ok no problem...I make sure I am available at home between 11-2 the window of time they scheduled me for. I wait for them at 1:30 pm I get a call saying they can't make it out till 3-3:30 again i wait then they say that it will be in the evening. They arrive at 6PM...spend 5 minutes here and say we can't help you because it's outside of our normal hours....you f*ing kidding me. You were supposed to be here between 11-2 while I patiently waited for you to arrive... 7 hours waiting and you are here for 5 minutes with that BS. Theres a way to conduct business and basically this company lives by the screw you consumer code. I notified my home warranty company of the issue. After reading another review with similar issues...this company should just remove themselves as a provider if they can't live up to simple expectations of providing good customer service a foundation of any good company. The guy who came out said he was the manager of the company....wow....wonder how the owner feels about how his staff is conducting business out in the field.
Great job and affordable! I would highly recommend.

Randy came out to give me an estimate for a plumbing job. He was very professional and gave me a very good estimate. I look forward to him completing the job in the net few weeks.
We called Always Affordable Plumbing for an estimate to install new kitchen and half bath faucets. Andrew arrived, within the specified time, and provided a competitive bid. At at our request, the work was completed a few days later. Boston arrived as expected, being both polite and professional. Excellent plumbers with competitive pricing!
They were awesome. They came out after hours and were honest and helpful. They charged me a fair price and even helped me contact the county.
I highly recommend Always Affordable Plumbing. As their names states, they quote reasonably and help you cut costs to make their services affordable for you.
I was set up with them through Fidelity Home Warranty service to clear a clog in my sewer line. Because of the age of my home/pipes and an unruly tree, they had their work cut out for them. They worked through three clogs over the course of 8 hours, and didn't leave my house until my sewer was cleared, which was late in to the night. In the process, the snake climbed back up to a toilet and broke the toilet. They immediately replaced it that night, and repaired the damage to my drywall from the snake a couple days later, leaving my walls better looking than before. Through the whole process they were professional, friendly, and very responsive.
I liked them so much, I had them come back to replace my garbage disposal a few days later, and ultimately had them run a new trenchless sewer line from my house to the street. Their bid for the project came in WAY lower than all of the others I recieved, and they helped me cut costs by telling me that I could dig the holes for the work, cutting the cost down by nearly a half!! They did excellent work and I would highly recommend them.
Jeremy and Nathan are simply awesome. Knowledgeable, honest, reasonable, and reliable. You won't regret using Always Affordable Plumbing.
Just had Always affordable plumbing replace my hot water heater Pilot Assembly and Gas Valve, also had them do a water heater flush. Ernest their Technician made a much better water release valve so all the junk would wash out of the tank. We had a little mistake in the pricing but they corrected it without hesitation and generously. About a month ago they replaced a toilet for me and did a great job at a great price. I would recommend them without hesitation. They do a good job.

Then once that was done Mike came out in the dark and unclogged my main line. Also, Andrew is making sure everything is good to go this morning. Was able to show up day of call and complete work. Not to sure typical cost of plumbing. $550 for pvc pipes with a valve. They said the pipes would need to be painted. Thought they would have done it. Was not present when work was done. Wasn't in a position to discuss it due to teleworking from home. Overall very satisfied. Would have hoped it would look a little better. Lucky my yard isn't award winning.

I had a sewer back up that thought would only need a simple fix and turns out, my sewer line had a dirty secret- it was slowly eroding away. They educated me on the issues they were noticing and letting my know what's going on in great detail, and I was so thankful! Two weeks ago we had our drains cleaned out by one of your technicians; however, the problem returned. Today, Greg Hill came out to check on the problem. He spent time thoroughly diagnosing the issue and attempted the high probability solution, although, unfortunately, that did not solve the problem. He then spent a great deal of time using the high pressure wash to clear the drains. That did the trick. However, my point of writing this is not to tell you about what Greg did, but how he did it.
In all service work, there are two critical components. First, there is the technical aspect of doing the job. But just as important is the relationship with the client or customer. Greg was wonderful at both. Not only did he fix the problem, but spent time explaining to us what the issue was and what he was doing, explaining clearly in laymen terms with just the right amount of humor. Greg Hill is a great plumber not afraid of hard work, but he was polite, respectful and concerned about our satisfaction. Always Affordable Plumbing and Greg Hill are wonderful finds. Thank you.
Jeremy and Nathan were awesome! Very professional. We had mice eat through the pipes which caused a room to flood. Unfortunately it wasn't obvious which part of the pipe and where exactly it was leaking from. They came out immediately on a Sunday. It took several hours to find it and yet the price was so much lower than we expected especially working on a Sunday. I was very impressed with knowledge and conscientious approach to finding and fixing the problem. They will definitely be the ones I call whenever I have plumbing problems again.

Had major plumbing issues. Contacted Always Affordable Plumbing. Drew came out, did his inspection and provided a quote within the hour. Drew and his crew ended up installing 110 feet of sewer line, as well as four cleanouts. During the job, additional work was discovered, with video documentation. I got worried, but the quote was reasonable and the work was completed on time. Drew and the crew were incredible. The quality of work, the honest approach and pride and integrity were superior. I highly recommend Always Affordable Plumbing and I personally use them for any and all plumbing needs.

They scheduled my appointment on Monday for Tuesday. Then they canceled on me for Tuesday. Then couldn't get me in on Wednesday. Then rescheduled me for Thursday and didn't show up!
I called twice on Thursday to confirm they were coming. My window was from 2:30-4:30. I first called at 9am to confirm. I called again at 4:15 to double check, they assured me he would arrive by 5pm. I'm now sitting here at 6pm wondering what happened? I've had a clogged since for 4 days. This is unacceptable service.
I called to let them know he never showed up, they don't even have a voicemail?!
I initially called them because I found water gushing out on the side of my house. I was completely panicking and Nathan came to my house within less than 2 hours from calling him. He found that the large leak came from a nail pierced to the PVC pipe from the turf I had installed recently from System Pavers. I was extremely grateful for Nathan helping me check it out! He didn't charge me an estimate since I'm having System Pavers fix their mistake. I'll definitely be contacting Nathan for any future water or plumbing issues!

However - I also requested a quote to replace/install a basic 40 gallon water heater. Estimate was more than double what I expected - and I have owned many rental properties and homes so I have an idea what is reasonable.
So I contacted another reputable, licensed plumber in the area and his quote to install/replace was $2000 LESS than the estimate provided to me here.
I am thinking over $3300 for a water heater isn't Always Affordable.
My advice to anyone - seek multiple quotes on something like this - as I learned today - there is a big range here. The water Heater itself is only a fraction of the cost.

I could tell that this was a very caring, honest man who was truly concerned about providing good service and meeting customer expectations. For that reason, I have upped this to 3 stars. I'm still not happy with the tech that was sent out or the comment that I was abusive (I wasn't), but based on the owners comments and concerns, I would consider using their services again in the future.

Called to have our master bathroom faucets connected & checked after a pipe burst. Customer service was great and called to let me know what time tech would be coming. Tech was quick, thorough & efficient and the price was reasonable! Definitely will keep the number handy for future references!!!
This was a home warranty issue, of which I've had many since purchasing my townhome. The companies they've sent out have all in all been really decent. Not this time. My water heater pilot light was out and I couldn't get it to relight. Fidelity gave me this company's name and number and said to expect a call from them soon. Ha! An hour later, I had to call them. We can't do it today, no wait, we can. Said the tech would come between 1-5 and would call 1/2 hour prior to arrival. I NEVER got a call. Fortunately, my adult son was home because the tech showed up at 4 pm with no warning, wearing a t-shirt that said In memory of when I cared. He relit the pilot light and left, telling my son it could be any number of things that caused it to go out. He didn't look for a problem whatsoever--in fact, he didn't even replace the cover over the pilot light area. So this morning, no hot water again. I called Fidelity and asked them to send a different company who will hopefully actually FIX it. Never again!
Do not let their name fool you! They charged me $2,500.00 to replace a hot water heater. OUTRAGEOUS!!! I used them before but I will never call them again. They just lost a customer.
Working with this company was a pleasure! Jeanette in the office made sure to communicate with me so I knew just when they would arrive at my house. Each time I talked to her she was extremely nice and very professional! Jeff was our technician and he was polite, respectful and knowledgeable. He explained everything to me so I understood exactly what the problem was and made sure I knew all of the options and what the next steps were.

Our water heater was leaking water on a Saturday night. Promptly on Sunday they had someone at our house to replace it. When they arrived after asking a few questions including trying to verify if it was still under warantee Nathan determine that it could be repaired where no one else would even consider that as an option. I called affordable plumbing to fix a leak from a pipe outside my house. They told me over the phone that it would be $59 to assess the issue. The plumber got out and tried to charge me $225 to assess the issue, claiming that the initial assessment fee of $59 didn't include digging around the pipe to find the issue!!! Ridiculous! Then he tells me that the problem will probably cost me around $700-$1000 anyway!
Long story short, I paid $59 for someone to look at the outside pipe, no assessment, and I still have a leak.
Would not recommend at all! They'll try and get as much money as they can from you!
First of all I would like to give an A++ to Always Affordable Plumbing technician ISAIAH FOX who showed up to fix my plumbing problems the same day I called them. He was very professional and friendly. He explained everything he was going to do step by step, and gave me my estimate before he even started working, AWESOME! Always Affordable Plumbing has very reasonable prices and I would recommend and definitely use them if I needed a plumber again! Just wanted to mention the other technician, James Taylor, that came out to assist Isaiah. Both technicians were GREAT! If any Plumbing problems, don't forget to call ALWAYS AFFORDABLE PLUMBING.

Always affordable plumbing came thru for me when another plumbing company dropped the ball and also lied to the warranty company. The previous plumbing company told the warranty company i had qest piping which is not covered under warranty to avoid doing the work and by saying that the plumber knew he would be off the hook and didnt have to complete the job. I called Always affordable plumbing for a second opinion they came out and sent out Randy who actually went under my home and all around my home to check the piping and informed me and the warranty company that i had galvanized piping not qest, the warranty company opened back up the fix it ticket and Randy came out and fixed alot of issues and when Randy was busy they sent out Greg and he finished up the rest with no problem. They are very professional and hard workers there is no other plumbing company i will call except Always affordable plumbing!
These guys were sent to us by the home warranty company when our shower and toilets backed up. They showed up on time, were courteous, and quickly identified the issue as a plug in the main line outside of the house... They did leave without fixing the clog, thinking the issue lied within the county's boundaries... After the county came out and identified no issues on their end, the tech promptly returned with a longer snake and had the plug removed within 30 minutes and was on his way... The only reason I don't give 5 stars is I feel the tech could have been better equipped to tackle the problem the first time... All told, they fixed the issue, were super nice, and cleaned up afterwards, can't really ask for a better experience...

They scheduled an appointment for me on a Saturday 12 to 3. They called at 1:40 saying they over booked and have to be re-scheduled. They booked for Monday from 5 to 7. They called again at 7:00 saying they are running. I called at 8:00 inquiring if they are still coming and the rude person said the technician is just wrapping up with the last appointment and is 15 minutes away. At what point are they thinking of completing the work at my house? Midnight?
Hands down, customer service was outstanding. Our water heater needed to be replaced-- not a small purchase-- and we have a home warranty covering most of the cost. The home warranty company originally referred me to a different plumbing company (one that averages 1 star on Yelp) and I had an awful experience with them previously. So I told the home warranty company to forward my claim to a different company, that I would not use the first one, and they sent me to Always Affordable. From the first moment I connected on the phone with Always Affordable, to every interaction leading up to their two visits, to the installation itself-- all were truly exceptional. This company doesn't cut corners and they go above and beyond to ensure the customer is satisfied. The finished product was excellent and done professionally. I'm so happy to know about this company and--when we need a plumber in the future-- we'll be sure to call them. Super easy and reliable to work with. Josh, the plumber they sent, was terrific.
Andrew was amazing who was our technician. Along with the lady that answered our phone call. I called on a Saturday because we lost our wedding wing down the train and he made the trip out to Rockland and used the camera to check our plumbing system. However we are unable to locate the ring

All I can say is use caution when calling this Company. Very unprofessional and did such a horrible job on my plumbing problem that after 3 attempts I had to call another plumbing company. The technicians were more focused on trying to do a whole house inspection and try to upsell for other work. Very sorry that I entrusted and paid them to do repairs.
We weren't looking for a new plumber, but we had a pesky pipe leak during a holiday weekend, and the one-man band we have been using for years was unreachable. So we called this group and are pleased with the results.
Our technician, Nick, came out on Sunday and Monday (the holiday) to address the problem. He was thorough and more than willing to explain our options; and the price was reasonable. So we may have a new go-to shop. We'll definitely utilize them again.
I would highly reccomend Always Affordable Plumbing to anyone. My technician was Randy Cook and he was very quick and responsive. I had them pull plumbing into my garage (my house was built in the 50s so this was quiet a job). Without hesitation Randy estimated the job with confidence and with a reasonable number. After getting 2 other quotes they were definitely the best choice. Even though there prices are cheap there work is top of the line. Randy was even kind enough to stay late to fix both my bathroom sink and next door tenants sink that weren't draining. Going forward I will always use there company. Thank you for doing great work at a reasonable cost!!
Never used before but was referred to by our property manager. who stated great reviews from her friend.
Needed a gas control valve replaced that cost $189 (Found on Home Depot Website) Would have allowed my handyman to replace but it looked more complicated then I felt comfortable asking him to replace. Affordable came out and gave $65 diagnostic charge. After determinng problem quoted $725+ in total including the initial $65. I figured it was a complex time consuming job as a New Bradford White Water runs under $1,800 installed by our usual plumber (Affordable quoted $2800-3200). From Diagnosing to picking up part and installing, total time was 2.5 hours.. Charged $550 in just labor.
Very polite service tech but hands down the most expensive plumbing company we have ever used in 30+ years of business. They are polite, professional but affordable?...... only for customers that want to pay $175+ per hour for a service call.

I just need to start with Scotty was so awesome! I haven't had to call a plumber in years and decided on this one since the reviews seemed good! With my washing machine running and washing dishes, my sink in the kitchen and laundry room decided to back up. I called and within an hour Scotty came to my house and worked hard to get my drain unplugged. It took way more effort for him to unclog it but he was super friendly and finally got it unclogged. Scotty was a wealth of information and made sure I completely felt comfortable with the process and gave me a bit of education on how to prevent future clogs! I would recommend Scotty in a heartbeat! Always Affordable Plumbing has been awesome. Stacie and Robert in the office were godsends helping with our very difficult situation with our home warranty.
Josh quickly diagnosed the problem and wrote up an estimate on the spot. The very next day (they even tried to come back same day though) our technician Jesus was kind, professional, and very fast and fun to talk to. Went above and beyond anything we could have asked for.
They showed up on time, did exactly what was needed, tested everything thoroughly and even did a few things well outside the realm of the original repair.
For first time homeowners, this was an absolute game changer. We will be using them for all our plumbing needs thanks to the awesome service from Stacy, Robert, Josh, and Jesus!
Had issues with a rental property.
AAP responded very quickly. When Nathan arrived, he was able to assure me that there was not leak in my pipes. I had another plumber come out and wanted to charge me an excessive amount just to diagnose.
Nathan also quoted and replaced two water heaters. Did and excellent job and a very fair price. Will definitely look to them for any future plumbing needs.
