I have used Jim countless times now between personal plumbing needs and also those of my rentals. These days it is hard to find someone who always comes through with honest, reasonably priced work. I can't say enough good things about Jim and no he is not a relative or family member of any kind. If you have a plumbing issue, don't hesitate to call Jim!

A big shoutout to Jim. I had several plumbers who failed at this repair project. The gas supply valve on my Rheem water heater broke and he was able to get the replacement part and installed it the same day. Very knowledgeable and responsive. He went the extra mile to get it done. No more cold showers!

I've used Jim a few times and will continue to!  I needed a water heater replaced ASAP and it was done the next day at a very reasonable price. He also changed out all the plumbing hoses in a few rentals quickly for me.   The tenants said he was very pleasant and accommodating.  I feel I can really trust him.

This is my go-to plumber for everything. Not only is there never an upsell, he will discourage you from spending money if you don't actually NEED to.

Problems are fixed right the first time.

It can be a little tough to get on the schedule at times  ... which tells me I'm not the only one who appreciates his prices and work ethic.

I learned about ZZYZX on the Nextdoor app - Jim came highly recommended by neighbors and we now know why. He did an amazing job with final plumbing details on our kitchen remodel and handled an emergency hot water heater situation - on Father's Day- with professionalism and genuine customer service. We definitely plan to use Jim on our upcoming bathroom remodel!

Jim came on a timely basis and did the work we needed.  We thought the charge for services was a little high but really can't be sure since we haven't had plumbing work done in some time.

We had Jim from ZZYZX Plumbing come out to fix an issue in our bathroom.  He was quick to respond and did a great job.  I would definitely use this company again if any other plumbing issues were to arise.  Jim was very flexible on setting an appointment to come to our house around our busy work schedules.  Once the appointment was set, he showed up right on time and completed the job quickly and thoroughly.  On top of being reliable and trustworthy, his services were also very reasonably priced when compared with other plumbers we spoke to.  I would recommend ZZYZX for any plumbing needs you may have.

We had a copper pipe inside the wall between our kitchen and dinning room start leaking and water seeping out on our floor. I went to the BBB site looking for a plumber for this emergency. I contacted ZZYZX at 5pm and Jim, the owner, arrived in less than 30 minutes. He quickly scanned the walls locating the leak cutting into the wall spot on the leak repairing it all in less than an hour. We were so thankful just before Thanksgiving to have found Jim truly our hero! Jim is our number one go to guy for plumbing needs.

Joe is absolutely the best.  Someone else tried to scam me and tell me it was going to cost $1,000 to clear my stopped up kitchen drain.  Joe and his son had it clean in about 20 minutes.  The price was very reasonable.  They were on time, professional and friendly.  I can't recommend them highly enough.  Don't waste your money on some of these bait and switch mega-companies.  Joe takes pride in his business and his work.  Call him!  Now!!!

If there is a plumber you need to call, please call Jim! When we were inquiring about some plumbing with our new house, Jim was quick to respond to my phone call and text messages. Not only was he knowledgeable, he was able to schedule to come over the next day to evaluate. He is very easy to work with, communicates clearly, and is prompt on showing up. His work is thorough. Did I mention he is also very nice? He was able to get all of the plumbing taken care for a reasonable price. We will definitely be using him in the future if we need any other plumbing issues fixed. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM! You won't be disappointed!

Honest and fair. No BS of trying to upsell you or doing unnecessary work.

Very quick to respond, came same day I called him, in the evening. Solved the issue and fixed it that night. Professional, friendly, respectful, very reasonable price. A real Pro. Great response via text even after the job was done with additional questions that I had. He wasn't stressed about getting paid, I had to remind him, so nice that his priority was  fixing my problem and not getting $$. I feel fortunate that I stumbled on his business through Yelp.

It is difficult to put into words how grateful I am for Jim's expertise, steady demeanor and recognizing what needs to be done.  While I was 700 miles away, Jim was kind enough to respond to an SOS call, identify the problem,  and contect the responsible parties.  While THIS time, the leak was not mine, i wouldn't  think of calling any other plumber.

Jim is installing a new water heater as I write this.  This is the second time he has shown up and taken care of an emergency for me in the last few months.  He responds promptly, accesses the problem immediately, has price comparisons on hand, and shows up to take care of the problem.  He is the best plumber I have ever had.  Great work!

Jim is the man!  He replaced my underground water main conduit at my house without saw cutting my driveway which is what all of my neighbors have done to fix the faulty piping put in by the builder at construction.   Call him for any plumbing needs!

I didn't use them for plumbing, but on March 9th, heading north on Tatum in Cave Creek, two of their service vehicles were speeding and swerving in and out of traffic. There were a lot of cars on the road and what they were doing was dangerous. The one with licence plate DMA 11E was tailgating me so close and I was nervous that his MUCH larger vehicle could really hit me hard. I was going to call the owner, but I have no idea if it was him driving or not, so here's my one-star review instead.

Jim is amazing, I've used him for years and he's always up front and honest even when there's a massive problem. There's a reason why you hire someone like ZZYZX, because you know the job will get done right at a reasonable price without unnecessary stuff thrown in!!

If you need a plumber, call Jim.  Really; call him.  The communication with him before the appointment was stellar.  He showed up on time (actually, just a few minutes early.. and he told me he was going to be early.)  The quality of the work is first rate and his pricing easily met my expectations.

No nonsense, reliable, and most of all honest. Jim & Dillon fixed a botched and overpriced job done by another plumbing company that was going to charge me another $1400 to fix a mess they had already charged me $500 for, and did not fix my problem. ZZYZX got it right and saved me a lot of money in the process. I highly recommend them. I used them again to install my new hot water tank and am very happy with the results.

Jim was a true God send for us. He correctly diagnosed the location and method of main waterline leak next to our driveway. 2 other companies wanted to reroute the main line while charging outrageous amounts of money. Jim came out within a few hours of my call and had the leak repaired in 4 hrs. He is honest, very experienced, insured, bonded and licensed. I will never use another plumber as long as Jim is in business.

I have had Jim with ZZYZX plumbing do some work for a me at a rental i have.  He was very fair with the pricing and honest with everything he did.  So when my hot water heater was going out or I thought it was the hot water heater........... He walked me through the process of turning off the water in the house and getting things prepped so he can come over inspect what was going on and come up with a game plan on fixing it.  Jim showed up looked things over and came to the conclusion that it wasn't the hot water heater it was a pipe in the wall that was leaking and going under the sheet rock which in returned made it look like my HWH was going out.  Long story short he cut the sheet rock out and replaced the copper pipe with a new one. He put some new fittings on and now the leak is fixed and after everything was said and done it was a lot cheaper then replacing a new hot water heater.  He is honest, fair, and reasonably priced!!! I would highly recommend him to any of my relatives and close friends!!!!!

Best plumber I have ever used - and I'm 59 years old! I can't recommend him highly enough. And his prices are extremely reasonable.

We bought a beautiful older home a couple years ago that has been a total money pit. Jim has saved my hide on numerous occasions. One of those being an issue that 10 other plumbers from 5 companies (the big companies often sent a number of different plumbers to attempt to fix the issue to no avail). However, they did not hesitate to charge for every unsuccessful visit or opinion. One company flushed our water heater to attempt to resolve the issue, but stripped one of the fittings that secured the waterline to the top of the tank. I did not know until my outside water closet flooded the next day. The plumbing company claimed it was due to an old fitting and took no responsibility, and I had to pay a $1000 deductible for the water dry out company.  By the time I found Jim at Zzyzx I was at the end of my rope. He actually worked through the unique issue with us and we were able to get it resolved. Jim is the real deal- he will not nickel and dime you or up charge you for something you may not need just to make a buck. His prices are very reasonable and if he happens to be booked out a few days or on a rare vacation, I will wait for him! If you can get Jim out for a plumbing issue count yourself lucky that you didn't have go through 10 other sub par or incompetent individuals before finding somebody who takes pride in what they do, and does it well.

We only recommend Jim to everyone who needs help with all their plumbing needs.

Jim was awesome. What a nice guy!  We were in a major bind with a backed up toilet and a huge mess. Jim came over immediately after hours.  He gave us a quick fix until he could come back the next day and get it squared away. He didn't charge us until the work was fully completed even though he had done some work when he first came over.
His prices were very fair and the only plumber who didn't try to slap us with a hefty after hours fee just to come by!
We will definitely call him again and recommend him to anyone needing a reliable and honest plumber.

I've had very good service from Jim with Zzyzx Plumbing. He changed our water heater and added a comfort pump / recirculator. Great communication, on time, reasonable costs, and professional work. He didn't try to upsell me things I didn't need but offered helpful advice based on his experience. I will stick with him going forward.
