We needed a plumber last night after normal hours for an entire house of drains backing up including into the tubs and shower. After a few calls, we were fortunate enough to reach Wood's Plumbing. I spoke with Caitlyn (hope I got the spelling correct), who was friendly and knowledgeable. She provided upfront flat rate fee's and advised that she could have someone out in about 1-1/2 hours even though we live far out West past Old Tucson.
Shawn (a plumber as well as a Field Superintendent), called about 45 minutes later letting us know his location and that he was on his way and would be here soon.  He arrived onsite in less than a hour from the first call to Wood's Plumbing. Wow, what a pleasant surprise.  Shawn asked a few questions then went right to work.  Within 20 minutes he had the problem identified and within 45 minutes he had all the drains cleared.
It's obvious why Shawn is a Field Superintenent - with over 16 years of experience, he knew exactly what he was doing.  He was friendly, funny and even offered some helpful advise about our system.  We really made the right choice by calling these folks. Thank you Caitlyn and Shawn.  We will recommend Wood's Plumbing to all of our friends.

Even 5 or so years later I am stuck with their bad work.

Years ago before I was stuck with a huge bill and no work done by a plumber working for Wood's I had a kitchen faucet put in...guaranteed 100 years...SURE MAYBE IF HAD BEEN DONE CORRECTLY! Now it is leaking because the proper...or ANY...screws were not put in. Because it is a faucet used by plumbers the screws are proprietary and I am having to replace the faucet. PLUS, I did not see the leak until I was having a new dishwasher installed which could not be installed because of the leak...now I have to wait another two weeks. Please, do not use these guys...the shoddy work will haunt you.

Our company has been using Woods Plumbing for years and I highly recommend them!

They will most likely not be the cheapest plumber in town but you get what you pay for and that is integrity, professionalism and a family owned local company that has been in business for 36 years!

When they show up at your door, they will be in a lettered vehicle, wearing a nice uniform, and name badge.

We scheduled this company to come and set our toilet and hook up gas to our stove. No one ever showed up after speaking with Meredith who supposedly added us to the schedule. We waited and waited....nothing!  No calls- no messages.  This job was time sensitive for us as we were installing new flooring and I was reassured someone would be by the appointed time!!  Sorry to say they were a no show!!!  Now We are scrambling around trying to find another company to help us.  Not worth a star!!!!

We got three estimates to replace our water heater. One was high and didn't include much detail, not even the brand of water heater that the company would use! Two were lower and of these, we went with Wood's. We felt they offered the best product and we liked the level of detail shared both when the guys came to the house to look at the job and also in the written estimate.

Josiah was our installer and he was very competent and efficient. He was great at explaining some  things going on with the plumbing and checked in before going ahead with a cut to our water closet (exterior) door. He did great work and we are really happy with our water heater.

You never know what you need until it fails! I recently helped a friend by recommending Wood's Plumbing, not only were they able to help her with what she needed, they helped her avoid Thou$andS of dollar$ in water damage from a second story bathroom sink that needed new supply valves and lines! Good catch and a great job!!

I had a leak in the valve at my main water line near the water meter and a friend referred me to Wood's Plumbing. They were extremely accommodating and able to send someone out the next afternoon. Bart called 30 minutes before the appointment time and let me know he would arrive a few minutes early. He diagnosed the problem and gave me a complete estimate to replace the valve as well as explained in detail all the work to be done. I was very impressed that he was able to complete all the work in the same service call and even worked past dark to get everything done. Bart was extremely personable, courteous and professional and he even took the time to go over everything at the end and make sure I had no further questions. If you're looking for a responsive and highly qualified plumbing professional, I highly recommend Bart and Wood's Plumbing.

I used these guys a few weeks ago for a clogged drain. they were very good about coming out immediately. they snaked the drain and found additional problems which they said  would cost several thousand dollars to repair. I paid $200 for the visit and the drain still did not function properly when they were done. after another week of living with the clogged drain I spoke with a neighbor and we fixed my clogged drain for $12. I'm not saying the other repairs aren't necessary, the home is 40 years old but I definitely am skeptical and was unhappy about still having a clogged drain after spending $200

Woods plumbing came out to do a home inspection. After I bought the house I had them come out to replace the pressure reducer and install an R/O  water purifier. Bart did a great job. He showed up ON TIME for starters. He had to drill through granite, steel, and wood to install the R/O. I had to sign a waiver for the granite in case it cracked. I wasn't worried, it turned out fine. He was a very hard worker, very pleasant, cleaned up after himself etc. I would recommend them to anyone.

I highly recommend Wood's Plumbing.  It's a family owned business and after talking with Wes I found out he is the owner's son.  He is very personable and did excellent work.  If I have any plumbing needs in the future, I will definitely call Wood's Plumbing.

We had an emergency on Sunday night at 6:30 p.m..  After calling our normal plumber they were not able to come. Another would come the next day but stated it would cost from $1800 - $2000.  I called Wood's Plumbing and they came out.  Our bathroom commode's were not flushing as if stopped up in both bathrooms and water was rising in both showers coming from the drain. My wife and I were thankful and quite surprised he fixed it so quick.  He also fixed our tub in that was draining slow.  Total cost for the job was $129!  Our regular plumber has lost a customer... not because they couldn't come but because of how much they regularly charge.  It's higher than most.  We will be using Wood's Plumbing in the future!  Thank you Shawn!

We had a warranted AO water heater that failed. They were recommended as a Certified AO installers. They came out and said that they heater we had was too big so they needed to get a smaller one--for this privilege they charged us an extra $50.00 over and above a charge of $350 for having a replacement installed--yep a wonderfully outrageous price of $437.50.
Mind you this is a 6 year water heater--probably cost $450 if we bought it out right???
Right after they left we had no water pressure. They come back out and walk back and forth and back and forth scratching their heads. One guy says that gravel got in the line and we needed to get it cleaned out...He left then sent another guy out--same scenario. Then he says we need to install a $2000 conditioner. That this problem although happening right after the install is net-new. I felt I was being up-sold just like paying $50.00 extra for a smaller water heater.... I was born at night but not last night for pete's sake.
Update: Wood's Water heater install was faulty and now we have to break open the walls and have the pipes blown out (because they did not blow out at the installation! Run don't walk from these guys!

We have used them three or four times over the years with good results. However, recently they tried to talk my parents into spending thousands to tens of thousands of dollars on unnecessary repairs to the entire house. The problem was resolved after renting some equipment for $50 and a few hours work. Perhaps they have expanded and new employees are not as honest or competent as old ones - but this was simply unacceptable and we will not call them again.

Really friendly service but expensive, as plumbing usually is.  That said, we will not call them out again because they do not credit their $65 call-out fee toward the costs of service to be completed during the call out.  I've never heard of any service provider not crediting the call-out charge, especially if you have them complete the work during the same visit.  We were quoted $950 (for only a portion of the work we plan to do) + the $65 call-out fee and decided that since they will not credit the call-out fee, we would only fix the items needing immediate attention and will use someone else who *will* credit the call-out fee for the rest of the work.  So, Wood's lost over $550 just so they could charge us $65.  The plumber who repaired out faucets even called to ask his supervisor if he could apply the call-out fee toward the service but was told not to.  So, if the supervisor doesn't mind the lost $550+ to Wood's Plumbing, then neither do I!! :)

Obviously, they have enough business to function this way, but I don't plan to support that style of business practice.

Do not hire these people. Beware! I called woods plumbing since they were 1 min from my house to give me an estimate on a repair or replace a gas line. I asked if they could find a leak in a gas line since I had a leak and was evacuated from my home.( Gas was red tagged) A nice guy came out and couldn't find a leak but couldn't give me an estimate. Said his boss will come. I paid 212.50 for a pressure test. The guy and girl on the phone said there was a miscommunication. Since all I wanted and needed was an estimate which I conveyed in my first call to woods plumbing. About 2 days later, 2 guys came to the house for the estimate. First thing he says is I don't know what your expecting, pertaining to cost I guess. But of course I was nice, and talked about what happened with the first estimate. One guy agreed that there was a mix up. I said to one of the guys I called planning Dept and could get the permit for $52. He said they were $350. I still just wanted an estimate nothing personal. They gave an estimate of $2900+ for one short gas line to one stove. I recived 4 other estimates ranging from 550 to 800. The job was done for $550. Permit was $52 not $350. These folks ripped me off. Tried to gouge. At a time when our family of 5, with a newborn, was evacuated from my home with no gas service. They charged almost half of what the job really was supposed to cost, for a ridiculous estimate. Quality does not supercede customer service and reputation. Beware of this company.

These folks are pros.  I needed a re-pipe.  Got three estimates, Wood's wasn't the lowest but were competitive.  I chose Wood's bid because the manager who gave me the estimate was very knowledgeable, pointed out code and age concerns, and was willing to work with me.

I can not speak highly enough of the plumbing team that installed my new piping.  Bart and Bob obviously know their stuff.  Real pros.  Always on time, finished a day early, did quality work, worked with me on I'd like this done too items.  A pleasure to work with.  Showed real concern for my needs, even staying late to install fixtures so I'd have a working kitchen sink during the weekend.

After the piping was installed Wood's brought in a quality dry wall contractor to make sure the textures were properly matched and ready for painting.  Corey and Mike did a superb job.

I dreaded having to re-pipe my home.  It wasn't fun but Wood's made it a lot less of a hassle  than I had feared.

My old hot water decided to quit working on a Friday afternoon, two days before I was to have out of town guests. I called Wood's and they immediately set  an appointment for me early on Sunday morning. Josaiah promplty arrived, after inspecting the water heater, and upon his advice, we decided to replace the water heater. Josaiah was extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and patient enough to take the time to answer my many questions. I like the fact that he didn't hurry and that he took his time to get the job done right. He was also very neat and took the time to clean up after the job was done. You would not even know that he had been here and that any work had been done! Josaiah was also very personable and it was a pleasure to have him work in my home.

I used them to replace a pipe in my front yard. For that job, they gave us a reasonable quote and we were overall happy with the work, although our drip system got a little damaged. We decided to use them again when there was some water damage in a kitchen cabinet, and they told us it was just a leaky kitchen sink and replaced a piece of the pipe. I wasn't buying that, as there seemed to be too much water damage for that to be the only problem. We asked someone else from Wood's to come out, and they told us that they'd already fixed the problem and  that maybe water was getting in from outside and that we could look into weatherproofing our home. I felt in my gut that something else was wrong so I had another company come out, who did some tests and found water in my wall and ripped out the cabinet to reveal severe water damage, and a leaky pipe behind the wall. I know that it's not an exact science, but I am disappointed that I was charged twice for them to brush off a real issue. I would use them again for minor plumbing issues, but not for any large jobs.

Re-pipes are not fun to live through, but I feel Wood's Plumbing did their best to make it as smooth as possible. From the initial consultation with Joe Osborne, the general manager, to the final walk through, it was evident that customer satisfaction is their highest priority.

The re-pipe team, Bart and Bob, were fantastic! They worked together so well, were positive and good problem solvers. They were on time everyday. They were courteous and conscientious about our home and family. I felt that in some of the decisions they chose to take the harder road in an effort to make things easier on us as the homeowners. They were meticulous in their work, cleaning up as they went, and paying attention to detail from the location of holes to the color of caulk for the bathtub. I felt completely comfortable with them working in my home, I didn't feel like I had to stick around. Even my 8 year old said, Mom, I think you picked good plumbers. I agree:-)

I am especially happy to see that the final drywall match is perfect. When I wasn't satisfied, Joe made sure to make it right. I am so happy that I can walk around my home without noticing where all the holes had been.

Wood's Plumbing goes above and beyond in making sure things are done right using high quality products. We feel confident in the work that was performed and know that they went the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. We will continue to recommend and use Wood's Plumbing.

I must start by saying the receptionist is an absolute sweetheart ! HOWEVER!!! This is an extremely opportunistic company who tried to charge me $ 500 for a job that cost me no more than $200. I was told I needed to order a thermostatic cartridge and they told me it cost $185. I found it on amazon for $70. I understand businesses need to make money but integrity in price should also be a business cornerstone, something this plumbing company seriously lacks. You might fool the others, but ya didn't fool me !

Misleading and overpriced. 450.00 to spend about 30 minutes repairing a shut off valve. He said it was in a tight spot, really it's out in front of the house. Their website states they can find leaks. Not really true. We already knew there was a leak between the house and meter we just spent 450.00 for them to tell us that and the new valve which is a relatively cheap part. We now have to hire yet another leak detection company, then another plumber. What a waste of time and money.

I was in need of a lot of plumbing work after buying my new home. Wood's was wonderful from the estimate process to working with title company right up to completion of the job. Donovan called to let me know he was on his way and the job was done in one day which I was expecting at least a couple of days. They did a fantastic job!!!! I will not hesitate to call them again and recommend them highly. Thank you!!!!

This family run business is the best. High character, honesty and very fair - integrity to the Max. They serve the greater Tucson area- so don't feel you have be lucky enough to be closer to Marana, to be able to invite them into your home. They have helped me more than once, and checked the same problem that had plagued this old house other plumbers just repeatedly fixed - stating it would just have to be that way. Woods Plumbing has it fixed for good, no problems since. And when there was an emergency they had no time to help fix, they referred me to another high integrity business that bailed me out Big Time. I am very choosy these days whom I choose to have in my home, after being taken to the cleaners financially and my concerns dismissed. Woods didn't try to scam me by selling me or trying to convince me other problems existed. It's nice to have that old fashioned feeling of trust and loyalty between customer and community service. And the cherry on the top: This is a rosieonthehouse.com partnered referral to homeowners. That's how I found them. Awesome web site for homeowners to get trusted referrals and resources - Check it out sometime. And thank you to the Woods family operation for giving security just being there.

I had a 5 year old water heater that needed a new mother board. I had to make the 2 phone calls to determine the closest place that had the part and how the warrantied part would be paid for. Plumbers forgot to turn water off and blasted water all over cars, gym equipment and pictures on the wall. Husband spent an hour cleaning up mess. Plumbers took at least an hour
trying to wire new part to get it to work. I called the company to discuss issues and was told a manager would call me back. It has been 3 days and no call. I was charged $440 for
this part installation.

Seem professional and knowledgeable enough, but on the high end price wise...   the number they gave for clearing my sewer partial blockage was much higher than others...   so high I turned them away, paying their 62.50 trip charge, and will still be cheaper and just as well off with another very good licensed plumber.

Woods Plumbing Saved my day and for a reasonable price!  They answered the phone on a Sunday . . .  Labor Day weekend!  Within two hours a very nice plumber (Tony) was in my house fixing a Flange and even installed a new toilet that I had purchased the day before. My toilet is working fine now and he did a very neat job! I would definitely use Woods Plumbing again!
