Top Notch Plumbing and Drain

Just wanted to pass along my recent experience with Top Notch Plumbing and Drain (locally owned) - Owner: Mark Felice.    

We had a bit of an unusual request for a plumber which was replacing/installing an outdoor submersible sump pump, near the pool.

My project started on Yelp - where I found Top Notch and many other plumbers.  Top Notch actually responded via Yelp on the weekend, so by the time Monday rolled around I had estimate appts. already scheduled!

He was then even able to schedule the work the following day.  
It gets better the next day he was able to start early-which as many of us know getting contractors to merely show-up is half the battle.  Mark was professionally dressed, great communicator, and provided a fair estimate.  Today he called first, showed up early, finished faster than he thought, was open to some changes in the project scope, and his price came in under his quote yesterday...Under Promise + Over Deliver!  
Great experience.

Had a leak we didn't know where it was coming from. It was in the ceiling of my newly renovated kitchen so I was very concerned, worried about how long it would take to get someone to my house and the cost involved.

Called Top Notch. Mark picked up the phone on the first ring. Was at my house in an hour. They were no less than amazing. Found the problem, fixed it in moments, and cleaned up the mess. And it was so affordable I'm still in shock. I'm beyond impressed and very grateful I found an amazing plumber. 10/10 Highly recommend.

Mark & Gavin are solid plumbers, personable and professional.  They did the plumbing for my master bathroom remodeling and installed a carbon whole house water filter. Pricing was reasonable but more importantly, dependable and had my best interest in mind. They are my go to plumbers from here on out!

Amazing work! I had to take some time off work to meet Mark at my home for some drain repairs. Not only did he confirm our appointment the morning of, he also called me an hour before the appointment to tell me he was on the way. After all this, he was right on time. That helps a million because I work hourly and need all the hours I can get.

While here, he talked with me about the issues and let me explain my concerns and goals for the plumbing. He fixed the drains quickly and then pointed out another issue and gave me option to fix it.

Mark gave me all the pricing before he got working and even got a quote for me for a future tankless water heater! No surprises and a very kind person to have in your home while fixing the problems plumbing presents.

I can not say enough amazing things about Top Notch Plumbing!  Twice now I have had plumbing emergencies at my home and Mark and his plumber, Gavin have come through in an emergency situation in a timely manner and have been so amazingly responsive.  On both occasions, they were able to remedy the problems and fix the situation to have me back up and operational. I would highly recommend Mark and his business!

I've used Top Notch plumbing 3 times and most recently for a tankless water heater. Their response time was fast and their install was very clean.

So I forgot to write this back in November and I'm sorry.
Mark and Conner came to remove my old faucet prior to granite being installed in our kitchen, then came on time, finished quickly and returned the next day to install the new faucet. Very professional, easy to deal with and if I need a plumber they get my 1st and only call!!
Now today I needed a plumber, called Mark  as I had my water softener leaking in several different hose & pipe connections. Spoke with Mark, he responded by setting me up within 1 hour of my call. Gavin & Conner showed up, they were excellent repaired and replaced some connections and again were very nice to deal with, work was done in a timely fashion. Great group of people!!
So again I'd say if I need or you need a plumber they should be you only call!!

Our shower stopped working. Mark was prompt, professional and got the job done quickly. If we need plumbing repair in the future we'll call Top Notch again.

We just had our water heater replaced by Mark at Top Notch Plumbing. I called Mark at 8:30am and he was at my door by 1:30. Mark was awesome to work with and answered all of my questions. We're going to add a water softener to our house in the near future and we'll definitely be calling Mark to do the install.

These guys are fantastic! They came out right away and fixed a blockage in our main line. They are incredibly nice and their pricing is great. I highly recommend them.

I chose this company for the positive reviews and feel as though I was completely taken advantage of for my situation (I was home alone while my fiance was at work). The fee they charged for the work completed was INSANE. This was to replace a shower handle and cartridge and were charged $325 for the plumber to be there for maybe 20 minutes. $100 for the shower handle/cartridge and $225 for TWENTY minutes of labor. On top of that, the plumber missed the fact that the diverter in the shower that he worked on was not functioning correctly, but failed to notice or mention it. We had other plumbing work done recently (including fixing the broken diverter) that required a much more intensive resolution and was charged literally half the price this company charged us.
I highly recommend checking elsewhere as I feel we were totally ripped off.

Great experience with Mark and his team! Wanted to get a water softener installed, and a lot of the competitors wanted to pressure me into buying one through them and also quoted insane labor prices. Mark recognized that I already knew what I wanted and was much more reasonable with his pricing. Arrived on time and provided high quality work. Also was kind enough to give me an overview of the water softener operation and maintenance. Would definitely call again for future plumbing needs!

Mark with Top Notch was exceptional, no complaints. I'm in the building industry and have seen a lot of plumbing work done but Mark's was above and beyond. His communication was clear, he walked me through the steps, didn't try to up-sell me on anything I didn't need, and ultimately delivered a quality job with no shortcuts. I had a tricky location to install my water softener in and Mark made it happen with ease. We are very happy with the service and the overall finished product! All for MUCH less than the home builder wanted to charge us. If you are unsure of who to use for your next plumbing job, at least give Mark a call! I've already started recommending him! My water heater was leaking and I was afraid it would burst. Another company quoted me a week and a half to come out. Thankfully I called Mark instead, he answered right away and was able to fit me in the following day for a water heater replacement. He was even able to come earlier than the afternoon window he originally gave me. Super professional, knowledgeable and friendly guy with more than a decade of experience. I'm often leery of contractors due to past experiences but Mark was awesome and did a great job. I felt very comfortable and confident with his expertise. He replaced all associated hoses, valve and installed a drain pain and drain spout as well on the new unit. He answered all my questions on the tank and maintenance requirements, and even handled my fearful, loud barking rescue dog with patience and ease. I'm happy to support local owner/operator businesses, and Mark will definitely be my new go-to-guy for any future plumbing issues. Thanks for the great service!!!

Called Top Notch regarding a possible broken pipe in our laundry room wall. Mark returned our call within 5 minutes. Fit us in same day. Found the source of the leak quickly, and re-routed the plumbing. Very professional, and we had a lot of confidence in him. Completely trusted him. We have hired Top Notch for several plumbing emergencies and repairs. The latest (almost) disaster, we had to urgently replace the shut off valve for my washer. Top Notch Plumbing was able to see me the next day and fixed the issue. Mark, who I initially spoke with is incredibly organized and professional. Our plumber Gavin was professional, friendly & got the job done timely and throughly. He even gave my lab lots of scratches! I chose Top Notch because they were highly recommended on our neighborhood FB page. Gavin was really great. He responded to my yelp message almost immediately and was able to come out the following morning. He was prompt and courteous and had our leaked fixed within a few hours. When I mentioned a second, unrelated plumbing problem, he was quick to offer to fix that also. Highly recommend Gavin and Top Notch!

Mark and Conner were responsive, professional, friendly, on time, and best of all-fixed our problem! We've been struggling with some gurgling and clogging in our bathroom sinks/shower drain and tried to remedy ourselves only to have the issue come up (literally! gross!) again. Not anymore!
Their price was reasonable and fair and we will be using them again if needed for other plumbing issues.

We had a broken compression valve and some kinked plumbing. Mark was able to do the job earlier than quoted and for a very fair price. I'm very happy with the service and would recommend to others.

We needed to replace our hot and cold shutoffs under the sink to get a new dishwasher as they were corroded. Home Depot wouldn't replace our dishwasher till that was completed. I contacted Mark and he was very responsive and professional. Not to mention their quote was very competitive. They came out the next day and not only replaced the valves but installed our dishwasher. Gavin was friendly and very knowledgable. I highly recommend Top Notch as their name resembles their work.

Top Notch Plumbing, the name says it all. I called to have a second opinion after warranty company plumber failed to help fixing the leak for multiple times. Mark picked up the phone right away and came to diagnose two hours later which he found the leak shortly after arrival. He fixed the leak a couple of days later and was very honest in his opinion. Will definitely use them again in the future.

This is the absolute best company we've ever worked with. Mark is professional, knowledgeable, and honest. He has helped us out with several projects. I cannot say enough great things about Top Notch Plumbing and Drain. I feel they are always ready, willing, and able to help me anytime. My tub spout diverter had a steady stream of water coming out of it and I panicked. I called Mark and he sent Collin over within the hour. Collin is incredibly honest, trustworthy, experienced, friendly, and professional. He explained the problem to me and provided me with options which I greatly appreciated. We had a backflow / clog issue that we needed addressed ASAP. Top Notch was able to send someone out within 45 minutes. Gavin was super professional, friendly, and efficient. He diagnosed the problem immediately, provided a quote, and had it all resolved very quickly. He was also willing and able to answer all of my questions. Top Notch definitely lives up to their name.

The service was quick, legitimate, and no hassle.

I provided a few pictures to move a toilet drain 12 in slab concrete, and move the copper fill line in the wall. Half the responders 'no quoted'. The other half needed to come to property to survey.

Top Notch not only was able to understand scope of work from pictures and text communication, but was also able to be very competitive on price by discussing options i could do to bring down price.

What others no quoted - TopNotch showed up in a few days and completed what others couldnt in 3 hours.

This company is what you want for plumbing needs!  Spoke to Mark this morning and the repair was done today, after a quote via text pictures.  Completely laid out the process on arrival and took consideration of the newly painted pipes that would have to be repaired.

Mark at Top Notch is awesome! Our toilet was having issues and I reached out to Mark on Yelp - he was quick to respond and come out. We decided to have the toilet replaced and Mark picked up the toilet of our choice from the store and installed it two days later. Couldn't be happier with Top Notch and now I have my go-to plumber that I'll use for all our future plumbing needs.

Top Notch truly lives up to its name. We've used they services several times now - exchanging laundry room valves, installing water softener system, shower valve replacement, leaking drain pipe, and installing angle stop valves. Each time, Mark would schedule us for the same or next day for service. Whether Mark or Gavin came out to service our issue, they were always on time and professional. Incredibly reliable. No issues with anything they've repaired or installed over the last 18 months. We trust them and won't use anyone else. As to their rates - they aren't the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Water damage can be devastating. It's worth it to us to pay what services are worth to have peace of mind.

We had a hot water valve at the kitchen sink that needed replaced before we could have a new dishwasher installed. Mark was able to come out the same day . . . On a Saturday and install a new valve.  

Mark was courteous and cleaned up after himself. The company is his, and you can tell he takes pride in his work. I highly recommend Top Notch Plumbimg and Drain for all your plumbing needs.

I will have his number on speed dial for all future plumbing needs.

Hands-down, the best plumbing (or even service-related) experience I've had.  Mark is friendly, easy to talk to, VERY patient, and willing to explain everything about the job at hand.  Had a water softener install, and not only did he professionally hook it up to the house water lines, he programmed the unit, filled it up, and took time to explain to me everything I needed to know about it.  This is something that I've never experienced with any other plumbing service.  On top of that, his price to do everything was extremely reasonable.  
Will definitely be asking Mark and Top Notch to install our next plumbing project coming up - RO system purchase and install.  He definitely goes above and beyond to make his customer happy.

Gavin and Mark were great.  Our water softener manifold burst at 10:30pm on a Friday night.  We had a huge flood in our garage and had to turn off all water to the house.  

I messaged Top Notch via Yelp at midnight and got a response from Mark by 6:30am. Gavin was out by 9am to survey the situation and had the plumbing fixed and water back on by 10:30am.

Gavin came back at our request on Tuesday to replace the whole water softener.  He tested our exterior lines, fixed some leaks from years ago, and billed us a very fair amount.  

I would use Top Notch again in a heartbeat.

I contacted Top Notch needing two leaks fixed and a vanity sink installed.  Mark gave us an estimate over the phone and offered to send someone out the next morning.  Gavin arrived on time the next morning, was super professional and friendly, and took care of all three jobs in a couple hours.  Price was very reasonable!  Top Notch will def be our new go to plumber.

From the time I contacted Top Notch until having my issue fixed this group was very professional, quick to respond, and provided some great feedback.  I will use them again for any plumbing needs.

Outstanding, responsive skilled service and very good guy!! Highly recommend! Had massive water leak in my home project to replace a faucet. (Pex plumbing is new to me). Just bought a house about 2 months ago and noticed some water out by the pool. Didn't think much of it with how much the pool was being used. After a couple days though the puddle got bigger. Next thing I know my side yard was completely flooded. Got the name of the landscaper who installed the irrigation system from the neighbors and gave him a call. He came out and said it wasn't the irrigation but instead the pool. I tried calling some pool companies but no one could come out for a couple days. Then the puddle kept getting bigger and I was like no way is this coming from the pool, I hadn't turned on the pump for two days. I started fearing that it was a slab leak and shut the water off to the house. I called Top Notch and Mark came out the same day. I explained everything and he went to work. He started out at the street and was able to isolate the problem. Guess what it was. Freakin irrigatation supply line!  Someone cut into the main supply line before the house shutoff. Mark found the spot he thought was leaking and dug up a 2 ft section down to the irrigation line and there it was. He made a quick trip to the store for some parts and then fixed the problem. I talked to him while the repair was setting before retesting the system and he was very helpful on giving me some tips and other things to be on the lookout for in the future. I'll definitely call Top Notch again when I have another plumbing problem. With an older home, it is really nice to have people you can call and make sure the repairs are done right. #5star plumber
