Hello, I am Jim Owen, General Manager and part Owner of Williamson's Heating & Cooling.  My wife Beverly and I have lived in Tucson for over 20 years.  We recently purchased Williamson's from Rob and Milly as they wanted to slow down a bit and retire.  We would be honored to serve your home's air conditioning needs and will be here to deliver a 5 Star Experience for you.  See you soon.

I have been using Williamson's for about 10 years. I bought mini-splits to replace some cheap ones that I had bought for some rentals. They professionally installed high quality Mitsubishi products.  I have appreciated the low cost to run them including maintenance of them. They have always done a great job. Today they came out prior to our summer heat. Walter diagnosed a problem and was able to easily fix and adjust the units. I was very pleased.

Excellent company! One of our two home HVACs went out during 107 degree weather. We got a couple of estimates for repair, but the unit was 20 years old and the cost of repair approached the cost of replacement. Several
companies gave us estimates for replacement, but we were most impressed with Cool Willy's. So impressed with Tyler and Jim O. (Owner) that we decided to replace the functioning unit, which was also 20+ years old too! We decided to go with Bosch heat pumps. We are now 3 days post installation, and so far they are working perfectly. Each person I have spoken with at the company has been professional, kind and caring.

Our AC stopped at 5:30 one evening. I was lucky to choose Williamson's Heating & Cooling based on their Yelp reviews. David returned my call in a very short time and agreed to drive all the way across town to diagnose and hopefully fix the problem. He showed up within the hour, was kind, considerate and thorough. He had COLD air blowing through the house in under 20 minutes! The rate that they charged was extremely reasonable even though it was late evening and very obviously past normal business hours. They are now our GO TO Heating & Cooling professionals and we will refer them without reservation. Thanks Dave!!!

Our AC went out today (Sunday) and after calling several places, they were able to come out within 30 minutes of calling. Our tech, Darien was courteous, efficient and solved the problem within 2 hours. It's insane not to have AC in Tucson so I'm so glad that this business operates 24/7 here! Thank you sooooo much!!!!

Fortunately, when we moved o Tucson over 8 years we needed an ac for our home.
We had several bids, chose Williamson's much to our benefit. We have 2 Coleman heat pumps that do an EXCELLENT job of heating and cooling our home. Very economical. We have them provide service to our vacation rentals along with our home. Prompt, honest and John does an AMAZING job explaining every detail. He took pictures on several occasions to show me what needs to be repaired and what it does.
Glad we found them. Superb business.

I have been a Williamson customer (now Cool Willy's) for several years and have enjoyed very good service for all that time.  Yesterday Levi came out to my house  for the spring AC service.  He did a very thorough assessment and provided info on my blower which did require replacement. He did an excellent job on the AC and even helped me with a light in my laundry room.

Saturday afternoon, A/C not cooling right, temp going way up, then would cool for awhile, then up again. 106º outside, this is a problem. Called Williamson's. A live person answered the phone and took our information. Technician showed up in less than an hour, fixed it right away. He was knowledgeable, courteous, wore a mask. These guys are the best!

We recently purchased a home here in Tucson. There is a workshop attached to the home but it did not have any air conditioning or heating. This was  a problem we needed to rectify as we were going to turn it in to a home office and would need to spend many hour\s each day in the room.
My wife researched every option she could find, the options we were thinking about turned out to be not so good. Then she came across the Mitsubishi duct-lees system locally installed by Williamson Heating and Cooling.
We Called Williamson's for an appointment and Robert Williamson came out and explained the system and measured our space. We received the quote latter that day.
The installers were very professional and cleaned up after them selves. They gave us a complete explanation on the workings of the systems before they left. Robert came back out a couple of weeks latter to make sure every thing was completed to their standards and asked if we had any problems or concerns. We did not. We will continue using Williamson Heating & Cooling because they truly understand customer satisfaction.

I am a new customer and just subscribed for a twice yearly maintenance plan on my two HVAC units. Walter provided excellent service. After doing the AC inspections and maintenance , he provided a thorough report on the condition of both units. While reviewing the invoice he noticed noise from the AC inside the house. He went back up on the roof, hoisted the units and put rubber buffers pads under each one, which stopped the noise. He also helped adjust our ancient vents to optimize airflow. All at no extra cost. They came out to give us a FREE  ESTIMATE on replacing our unit and we got a bill for $147.50 bill that they never mentioned to us at the time of scheduling. We had called 3 companies and ended up going with the one of the others.  And the other company never charged us for their estimate even though they did not do the work.

I had reached out to them and finally spoke to one of the owners Millie,  who was pleasant and reasonable. She explained that the charge was made as the tech billed us as diagnostic not for an estimate. She was able to void the bill. Given the owners responsiveness to the situation and their timelines for the estimate, we would consider them for future cooling needs.

Moved into a manufactured home in Dec. 2014. A/C unit was relatively new, but when we tried to use it, it would not cool the home. Saw great reviews for Williamson Heating & Cooling, so I called. Doug, the first technician to come out, kept me completely appraised on everything he did & why. The refrigerant was low, so he checked the entire system for leaks. He did not have enough refrigerant on his truck, so John came out later on that day to complete the service. Both of these gentlemen were knowledgeable, respectful & courteous. The bill was reasonable, with the majority of it comprising of 5 lbs of refrigerant. The job was done right, the first time, with me, the customer being constantly informed. I will use Williamson again & refer anyone having problems with their HVAC system to them. Thanks Dave, Doug & John.

We met with Rob to get an estimate and set a date to start the work. Devon made sure everything was in place. Mike, Phil and Brandon arrived on time, were friendly and very considerate of our time. They did their work, which came out great. They explained what they were doing and how to use the units. They cleaned the areas up nicely after installation. We installed an American Standard and Mitsubishi units. They are so much quieter than the original unit we had previously. Millie communicated with us afterword. I would highly recommend Williamson's. Their crew if fantastic. Thanks Williamson's Crew for a great job overall!

In the hottest week of the summer our AC died. Worse, replacement units were unavailable. The folks from Williamson lent us portable units and scoured near and far to find the new unit that now cools us. Their tech Walt even did the installation during peak heat so we could be cared for.

The technician was great. He called ahead, arrived on time. Told us everything that he was doing and why. He recommended a new motor for our fan and told us why, no pressure so we went ahead and got it replaced since it made sense in the long run. About $350 after everything, which is way better than having to buy a new ac unit which costs thousand. Very pleased with the work. I strongly recommend.

Had Williamson's out for a quote in July and our rep, John Paul was very helpful and suggested we have our old systems tested for assistance from TEP and also wait until fall for some other rebates.  We did that and with the testing we found we were qualified for the TEP rebate. While Williamson's was not the lowest bid we saw they were the most helpful so we decided to go with them.  They installed two new units including gas heater in October.  It took 4 days and the installers were great, did a nice neat install and cleaned up really well. About a week later they sent Walter out to check the system and he tweaked some of the things the installers had done and explained everything we needed to know about the system. Great service and follow up with a year customer service wellness plan.  I recommend Williamson's very highly!!

Great service by tech Wally. The office forgot to let him know he was scheduled but we were able to reach him and he made it out at 10:30 pm. We have twin babies and the heat in Tucson was too much not to have AC running. Wally fixed it within an hour.

We used Williamson's for a couple of different projects including HVAC work and replacing a water heater.  They do great work and the employees are genuine and courteous.  We had a problem with one project and after contacting John Paul with our concern, he promptly sent Wally out to take care of the problem.  Wally is awesome!

Walter was extremely helpful in finding the wire ( and finding the reason) our HVAC system kept shorting out.
Honest, Reasonable, Exact and extremely efficient.
If I would have listened to previous companies, they'd have made me buy a whole new wireless system... AND I'd have not uncovered the REAL problem.
This company, and the ones who represent them go above and beyond.

They deserve 5 stars!
We searched for a new Heating & Cooling Company that was local and had 4-5 star reviews and we definitely found the right one.
Williamson Heating & Cooling is honest and reliable. The installers know exactly what to do and are so professional and qualified.
We needed a new Air Conditioning Unit and knew it would cost us dearly, but Williamson was extremely honest and gave us our options.The OWNER actually came to our home to inspect the old unit. We couldn't be happier with how he explained our options, warranty and install process. Then he mentioned our TEP rebates which really helped. We were able to buy A/C we wanted and saved  $3000 in price when compared to another well known AC company. We feel like we made the right decision. Our home is older and previous homeowner did a self install and made a mess with wiring etc.  Williamson crew had to work really hard to find the wires to connect to our inside thermostat because of a remodel we did 10 years ago wasn't as good as expected and that company enclosed wires to thermostat in a wall.
Williamson crew had to go through the walls and find it , therefore move thermostat to another wall to get it going. They started the job at 9am (expecting a 3-4 hour install) and did not leave until after 6:30PM! They would not leave us without AC in 104 degree weather and made sure it worked. Then they came back next morning just to show me how to work the remote thermostat/internet set up and finish up a few things. Each one of them worked so hard and did a phenomenal job. Kind, personable, all professional staff.
I truly recommend Williamson Heating & Cooling and will never use anyone else.  Great company! Keep it local too.

From 1st visit/and estimate to the install by Daniel and Junior we are very happy!  Professional - friendly and experienced! Our install was in a tight closet and wasn't easy- It took custom ductwork, and patience but they never complained!  Super great guys I was glad to have them in our home- great communication within the company as everyone
arrived was completely aware of our job- yeah!

Arrived in Tucson AZ last night to a cold condo( 62. )Tried to figure out myself with no luck. This morning I called Williamson's Heating & Cooling's answering service. The main office was closed for New Years Holiday but they said someone was on call and should be calling me back within the hour. In less than a half hour Walter a technician from Williamson's called me back and said he was on his way. When he arrived I recognized him from past maintenance service that he had performed on our system. Walter trouble shot our system from one end to the other going from the in house thermostat to the roof unit and finally in the crawl space. At first he couldn't find the problem but that didn't deter him. He continued to methodically work through each possible scenario in his mind and then climbed to the roof again for about the third time. A short time later we had heat again and Walter told us he had found a relay that was not closing up on the roof unit. We are happy as always with this company but as a business owner myself of 28 years I always notice a dedicated and hard working employee who really cares about the customer and also seems to enjoy working for his employer. If every business could have  a bunch of Walter's what a wonderful thing that would be. Walter, thank you fixing our system and being such a dedicated employee. If I wasn't retired I would love to have you working in my company anytime!!! Happy New Year, We hope you get to enjoy it at a party as you deserve it

There's a reason for all the 5-star Williamson's reviews. They tell you what they're going to do. They do it, and they charge a fair price for doing it. Every person we dealt with at Williamson's was courteous, knowledgeable, honest, and helpful. They also treat your home with respect, and clean up after themselves. We talked to several companies when looking for a heating and cooling upgrade. It was obvious to us Williamson's had the edge at the beginning of the project, and after choosing them to do the work, we knew we made the right decision.

Second year I have used this company for my annual maintenance.   Once again they proved what a great company they are.  The same tech as last year, Walter, was once again on site.  This time I mentioned about how noisy the air return is.  He added some foam backboard and wow!  What a difference. Did not up-charge me at all.  I would recommend this company for all your heating and cooling needs.  Thanks Walter!  See you see year.

We had Williamson's install a new air conditioning system at our house. We decided to use them because of their thorough measurements and explanations. Unfortunately, we had problems with the installation after that. We had a delay in the start date as we waited for the furnace for our unit in spite of assurances that they had all of the parts available. We were not contacted with a new start date and when we called, it turned out they were supposed to call us and were coming the next day. The unit did not fit in our space with the dampers that they had planned to use, the venting for the furnace did not fit well and we had to call several times to get them to finish our installation. The crews at our house were excellent but not really able to explain to us about problems and delays. All in all, the process took 3 weeks to complete when they had given us and estimate of 2 days after electrical upgrades were completed. Williamson's was the highest priced bid for this job and given all the communication problems, I'm not sure it was worth it.

I am thrilled with Cool Willy's taking over upon Williamson's retirement! I wasn't sure they would provide the excellent care we previously received from Williamson's. It came time to find out when our A/C stopped in 109 degrees. I called them for service in hopes they'd be able to send someone in the next day or two due to high demands. Jordan answered, listened to my A/C issues, put me on a brief hold (with the best hold song ever), and advised a tech. will be calling me within 30 minutes to provide service. Their technician, Brian, ARRIVED within 30 minutes, assessed the problem, demonstrated and explained the problem to me and my husband, and then stated how he could fix it. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, transparent about everything, and never commented on the gruelling heat! He timely replaced the capacitor and offered to install a Quick Start which my husband was pleased he suggested and agreed it will be a benefit to the A/C unit. Instead of just charging us, he checked with Phil regarding our Warranty and Amber if a coupon could be utilized. Their communications exemplified a company that works well with each other which was impressive to us. Brian was a real pleasure to deal with as was Jordan who makes a great impression as the first voice of Cool Willy's that you hear. I later had a nice conversation with Amber. All employees I spoke with are excellent representatives of this company. Cool Willy's new owner sent a letter claiming to keep the same high standards and service as Williamson's. After being doubtful that that was possible, we now believe. We highly recommend this professional, high quality company for all aspects of their service. Thank you all!

After receiving several bids on a split system, we added a split system (does ac and heat in the same unit) to our AZ room.  John Paul came out and gave an estimate, did not tray to do an oversell for the unit,  and honored the Home Show concession.  Met our request for an install date. Contract clearly spelled out the work to be performed.  Work was done in a neat and orderly manner.  The system works very well.  It is so much more quieter than the window ac unit that we barely tolerated for a couple of years.

Asked company to call me to schedule an appointment.  After 5 hours, got a response saying sorry I was unable to get to my phone today.  They also asked if they could call me the following day.  I said sure.  After waiting till 11am and sending them a couple of requests, I decided 24 hours was enough time for them to reach out to me if they wanted my business.  They never called me.

We arrived home on Saturday to discover that our air conditioner was out. With temperatures hovering around record highs, this was clearly a problem!  I called Williamson and they were able to send someone out within a few hours.  Manny was the technician. He arrived in the timeframe that he told me he would be here. He quickly diagnosed what was wrong, and gave us a quote for the repairs. He finished the repair quickly and within a short time we had cool air again.  We were very pleased with the timeliness of the call, the service and the price.  We did have to pay the weekend rate but given the circumstances, we were happy to do so.

I recommend Williamson and will certainly use them again!

Williamson's installed our new air conditioning unit in 2016 and we could not be happier with them.  We use them for all our service needs. They are trustworthy and reliable and they have the nicest technicians who really take their time to explain everything to you. On the most recent problem, we had rats getting into our system and chewing wire. We had a wonderful technician named Walter who was personable and took the time to educate us. Not only did he fix the damaged wire but he took the extra time to install a metal grate over the area where the mice were entering, ensuring this would not be a future problem. We really appreciated Walter and his customer service excellence. Williamson's is a great company with great employees, and we highly recommend them.

I am so grateful to Williamsons for their service and kindness.
Stuart spent an hour and a half here, took pictures of every part of my AC system, sent them to me and gave me a quick answer about how I can keep going until I can get them back to replace the system.
Actually, I would give Stuart 100 stars if I could.

We just had our A/C and furnace replaced.  After researching a lot of different air conditioning units and reading a lot of reviews of products and local companies, and getting 5 estimates, we chose Williamson's.  From the owner Rob coming out to assess our situation and providing the estimate to the technicians driving away after installation, it was a positive experience.  Rob was friendly, knowledgeable, honest and straight forward.  He and the company were very responsive with communications. We felt confident we would get a good product with a professional installation.  Installation occurred on the day promised. The technicians were a pleasure to have in our home and the job was complete in the timeframe they gave us with the estimate.  They explained everything they had installed, left us all the pertinent paperwork, cleaned up everything and left things looking spic and span, including the equipment.  I highly recommend Williamson's Heating & Cooling.   They're great!

Called and scheduled a pre summer check up. Walter came at the scheduled time frame. He was polite and professional. Check all my components and said I was all set to go. Didn't try to sell anything extra. That's all I want, a competent, professional, and honest technician. I will be sure to ask again for Walter for my next annual air conditioner check up. Walter has been with Williamson's for 18 years.

This is my 2nd review as it is for the service contract on my gas pack furnace/air conditioners. Received a call that it was time for my first six months service and Walter came as expected on time with a heads up call. He was so extremely thorough and generous in his time explaining a few of the things we needed to do to best maintain and have a long life from our units. Once again Williamson shows that their long-term employees , and Walter is one , care their best sales people and representatives because they care about their business and they care about the people they service. Walter promised us that when he returns in six months under his care our one unit which was older ,which was included on my service contract ,with my brand new unit will be in so much better shape because he is going to keep working at it until it is in the best shape possible . We really appreciate Williamson's and wish we had a lot more houses that need air-conditioning units but fortunately this is the only one so I hope my recommendations get them more business.

This is the first Yelp review we've ever contributed; it just had to be written!
When we needed a new a/c, we secured three different estimates. Williamson's was able to give us the best price for the highest Seer rating. We have a very small space for the unit, and Williamson's was the only company that was able to accommodate the particular space issue we have with a 16 Seer rating, as well as the lowest bid price.

The technicians Wally and Phillip were fantastic; very professional, extremely friendly, and went out of their way to make everything fit and work perfectly.
Also, Phillip was a total lifesaver: When one of our dogs accidentally got out of the yard, Phillip immediately got into his van to search--and rescue--the dog!
I have just recommended Williamson's  to two friends.

I had my system installed a couple of years ago, American Standard. The installation of a bit complicated because of having to integrate the duct system into the existing one. Victor, the HVAC mechanic/sheetmetal , did an excellent job in every aspect of the job from installing the unit, sealing the duct work, and the smallest detail. I had at least 5 bids and I went to different locations where other TOP rated HVAC companies installed their untis. Phil, took me to look at other jobs and walked me through a customer's house to show me their work. Phil and Victor....you make Williamson's Heating and Cooling the best. I HIGHLY recommend Williamson's and you'll see the great work Victor does....

I have been a customer of Williamson's Heating and Cooling for much longer than Yelp has been around, so I haven't written a Yelp review of them.    But my recent experience with them confirmed my opinion that they are a great company with very great employees.  

We got great service by their tech Wally.   Our air conditioner went out on one of the hotter days of the year.   Wally had it up and running in no time at a reasonable rate.   He even fixed a problem with our evaporative cooler's roof jack, which I really appreciated.     Wally is a great guy too.

Can't recommend them enough.

My heat pump quit over the weekend and I called Williamson's hoping for the best.  What a great experience!  Their tech Walter arrived in uniform within 3 hours of my call. He was professional and friendly.  He explained what the problem was and replaced my condenser fan motor.  Unfortunately, upon testing he found the motor he installed was defective and made a squeaking noise, with no other one on the truck, he returned the next day to make things right, no question he wanted the job done right.  I found Walter and Williamson's to be honest, trustworthy, and they do good work.  The price they charged was fair. Highly recommend Williamson's.  This is my new air conditioning company!

Williamson's installed our new air conditioning units several years ago. We've been very happy with them and the level of service, which has been nothing short of exceptional. This year we opted to install a new unit in our garage shop, so naturally, Williamson's was called in for the job!

Junior, Brandon and Daniel were outstanding. They answered all my questions and did a stellar job with the install. Thanks again guys!

Now named Cool Willys!  Solid 5 stars from beginning to end.  Called to schedule two annual maintenance A/C inspections for homes in close proximity.  Appointment process was quick and easily scheduled back-to-back, received a follow up reminder text and the technician Stuart was punctual.   Stuart was polite, extremely professional, and knowledgeable.  He checked the entire system, was completely transparent during both inspections.  Explained where I may have risks in the future, checked temperatures as each vent output and emailed a complete receipt with images of every pressure reading, and component inspected showing the status of components across the entire system.  A testament to a thorough review.  On the second home, with a slightly older AC unit, he organized and grouped some of the wiring and included a missing safety valve cap - above and beyond.  I will admit I thought these assessments were a little like rust proofing a car, and that perhaps I could shopvac the filter myself and call it a day.  Nope.  They do so much more than that....Stuart was a rockstar - and we will definitely recommend to others & call Cool Willy's next year for our service.  Thanks again Stuart.

Bottom line:  Highly recommend - did not feel upsold or pressured.  Fantastic experience / honest service.  Thank you, Cool Willy's and Stuart.

Had them install our AC, Furnace and water heater about two years ago. At the time of install, they promised free servicing at the start of the next summer. Late next spring, I called, left messages and such, but no one got back to me, so I left them a bad review on Yelp. After that, they finally called me back, apologized and took care of what they promised, then asked that I remove the bad review. I did so, thinking OK, everyone has things that get in the way. They're probably OK. The excuse at that time was a new scheduling/billing system.

Last week (6/25/20) I called because our barely 2yr old AC wasn't cooling the house during the heat of the day. I was surprised to be informed that *all* work for the next several weeks was being done as overtime. The person answering the phone told me the next appointment at regular rates would be July 15. I took that to mean that they are charging time and a half until then.

I feel that, in the middle of the hottest season of the year, this is a form of price-gouging. I found another service shop and I won't be doing business with Williamson's again.

*NOTE: Nobody said We can only come after hours. All I was told was that all servicing until July 15 was overtime*. Nobody mentioned that they had staff out sick, only that they were really, really busy.

Today Walter came out and gave our cooling system the most thorough preventative maintenance ever. He measured the output and input air temperatures, changed the air filter, checked the capacitors, and even caught a slight wrong wiring of the AC water sensor. This is 5-star service for sure. Williamson's installed our American Standard system a couple of years back and we have been impressed with the system and their service before, during and way after the sale.

There's not a circumstance much worse over a hot Fourth of July weekend than having your AC unit spew white electrical smoke instead of sweet cool air. After some intricate and sweaty research, I found Williamson's, and John had my Trane up and running in no time. I was prepared for a terminal diagnosis when he emerged from the wall of burnt wires with a smile that said it all. I love guys that take pleasure in their work, and when he told me he was Trane-certified and could fix it, I had no doubts. He ordered the parts immediately. I was prepared for sticker shock after his many hours of meticulous repair work, and was pleasantly surprised at my reasonable bill. These guys truly provide optimal service at great rates, and their follow-through hits it out of the park.

A co-worker recommended Williamson's. Walter has performed my Spring and Fall inspections. This weekend I had to have him come out on a Sunday to repair my heat pump. He was prompt and called ahead to let me know he was on his way. He spent time tracing the damaged wires. The cost of the repair was very reasonable. I am very pleased with their service and will continue to use them.

Walter came to our home to assess the issues with our heat and AC. He was very helpful in explaining the system to us as we've never had AC before , making adjustments, and not selling us anything we don't need.

He gave us some great ideas about how to improve air flow and optimize the system.

Had Philip out yesterday.  We were scheduled for an arrival between 8AM and 12:00.  Received a call first thing in the morning that he was 20 minutes away.  So nice not to have to waste the day waiting!  Very professional, friendly and took time to explain everything.  We've now found that company we will call on again and definitely recommend to friends and family.

Williamson's sent Wally out in June to fix the air conditioning in my studio/office. He was quick to identify the problem and get me cooled off again. He suggested a check of the main house system would be a good idea. I finally picked up the phone to schedule him for that. He called before coming in the designated time block. He checked out the system, made some improvements (much quieter now) and explained everything along the way. Will have him back in the winter to check out the heating. Thanks to Williamson's and Wally.

I am giving Williamson a five star rating if only because they went out of their way to try to explain to me the complexities of air conditioning and in their attempt to get me to understand what they were trying to present.  I did not buy a system from them if only because I had some misgivings about the selections they had made - from my standpoint, if I'm going to spend thousands of dollars, I want to be absolutely sure I'm getting what I want.  My current system is still operating fine, so there wasn't the pressure to make a decision and get on with life.  Much of our lack of closure was due to my research, where I found out things like a Manual J calculation to determine what you really need in a system and a Manual S? to determine the appropriate system.  These are often items skipped by the vast majority of contractors if only because they do involve a lot of work and if you already have a system, most likely repeating the same thing would do the trick if not be ideal.  At any rate, these guys worked hard to get a deal but I simply decided that as long as I wasn't in dire need, I'd wait and get a better understanding of what our home needed.

Had a regular checkup on gas furnace and Doug showed up and was wonderful! The next day the thermostat broke (it was old) and I called back an Doug was so gracious and replaced the thermostat.
Both times Doug wore his mask And was very understanding of the social distancing (in the caretaker for my elderly mother.)
The next night we had a power outage and my furnace stopped. After trying to reset it for an hour I had no luck. Called again on a Saturday. Doug wasn't available apparently and Walter showed up at my door, came into the house and was not wearing his mask. I politely asked him to put it on and he did but the whole visit (as I stayed outside) he seemed put off by the mask and the social distancing. After looking at my heater for 5 minutes he declared that it was fine and that I just needed to wait for the furnace to come on (15 minutes). When I explained that I did he said I didn't and then listed all the things wrong with the furnace and I should call him to fix it. Doug, in the last two visits said none of this and gave the okay on the entire system. I'm not an HVAC tech but Doug treated me with respect while Walter was dismissive, condescending, and paternalistic. I thought the company was standing by Covid-19 procedures but Walter was visibly upset by me asking him to wear a mask. Not to mention, he charged me $176 for 5 minutes of work And nothing was wrong (according to him). I can understand a fee but that seems excessive. If I call Williamson's again I will make sure to ask for Doug but this experience has soured me on the company.

[UPDATE] The owner called me early this morning And apologized for everything. He stated that they require their techs put on a mask as soon as they exit their truck. He has spoken to Walter and both apologized. He assured me that they take CDC precautions very seriously and they they will ensure all technicians do also. He also cancelled the charges and that Doug will be my technician from now on. For an owner to call first thing on Monday and be genuinely apologetic is admirable. He ensured me that he wants all his technicians to treat all of their customers with respect.

I am a new customer of Willamson's.  Wally came out to check on a wiring problem we had that was not fixed by the HVAC company that I had been using for over 20 years.  Wally analyzed the problem and fixed it also CORRECTING the incorrect wiring that had been done by the previous technician from the old company.  He went over everything he found with my husband and was very thorough fixing the problem.  Cost was 1/2 of what my old company was quoting me and what he did was so much more simpler than what my old company wanted to do.  I plan to sign up with Willamson's as my regular HVAC maintenance company.

I contacted Williamson's to inspect my furnace after a self repair to ensure everything was done correctly.  The technician who came out, Walter, was very professional, courteous with a very pleasant personality.

He evaluated my repair and switched one wire I had in the wrong place, wiped down the interior and exterior of the furnace and replaced the covers.

I will be contacting Williamson's again for any repairs I need to my HVAC system and will be sure to ask for Walter by name.

This was a perfect example of customer service done right.  Thank you Williamson's & Walter.

New to Tucson and we've had issues with our units and having smart thermostats installed.

Company #1 -- your unit / compressor is dead you will need a new unit. $19k quote.

I called another company for a second opinion.

Company #2 repaired the dead unit and suggested I buy X brand of smart thermostats, they would come out and install them. I did just that,  when I called to have them installed, Sorry sir, we don't do that...   frustrating!

I then called Williamson's Heating & Cooling.

Customer service was excellent.

The technician was very nice, he explained the actual cost of a unit if I were to replace them in the future. He then installed our new smart thermostats quickly and they are working great.

The overall experience was excellent and we will use them in the future.

Walter came recently to do the biannual maintenance of our HVAC system and was awesome! I told him we had trouble heating and cooling part of the house so he measured the outflow of all the vents and told me exactly how open or closed they should be in each room to achieve an air balance throughout the house. I really appreciated the amount of time he spent explaining things and getting everything adjusted properly, including the two units we have on the roof. That is great customer service!

These are the only guys we call when we need help with our heating or cooling.  We were very lucky to have had them recommended by the previous owner of our house.  She was thoughtful enough to leave a list of companies she had been dealing with over the years and when our AC quit working we figured why not?  Everyone we dealt with was courteous, friendly and knowledgeable and even if they didn't know they quickly made sure we were put in touch with someone who did.  Our service tech came out and worked a while on our unit, made several adjustments and even rigged it so the AC would at least work until another worker could come out and finish the job.  After everything was said and done we were ready to pay on site but they said they would just bill us.  That kinda made us nervous not really knowing what to expect, considering new parts were put in, plenty of labor etc.  When the bill finally came we were shocked at how LOW it was.  I mean we had just braced ourselves for the worst I guess but it was very reasonable.  Lastly what I really appreciated is that the tech took time to explain exactly what the problem was, showed us what was and wasn't happening and what needed to be done.  This is a great company!

From quote to installation to post installation walk-through Williamson's Heating and Cooling was totally on point. During the quotation process I liked that Rob really listened to my concerns and offered different possible solutions at different price points. He drew up the various quotes and explained each while at my house. No waiting around for a week or more to get the quotes, like I experience with the other companies I solicited bids from.

The installation process was completed by Brandon and Danny. I was super impressed with their friendliness, professionalism and ultimately by the quality of their work. It was a pleasure to have them around our house for the two days it took to complete the project.

And finally, Rob came back a couple of weeks after the installation to do a walk-through to inspect the work and find out if I had any questions or concerns with the system.

Start to finish working with Williamson's Heating & Cooling has been one of the best home repair/improvement experiences I have had to date.

I contacted 4 different AC companies for estimates in the last few weeks and I found Williamson's heating and cooling most reliable.  Robert Williams the owner answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable. After reviewing all estimates, we found Robert Williamson estimate very transparent and did not increase his prices due to our hot Summer. The company did a fantastic job of installing the equipment within my budget. Everyone was very skilled and professional - from Robert Williamson to the installers, 5 stars.  Our new AC unit work very well and is quieter than our previous one. We would highly recommend Williamson's Heating and Air Conditioning based on our experience.

110 degrees and AC quit.  Welcome to Arizona!!! I called a couple of AC companies and they were booked for days. But Cool Willys  came out within 3 hrs.  He repaired the AC and was great about explaining what happened and what he needed to do. Brian was my technician.  I was very pleased with the service and especially with how fast he came out.  Prices seem reasonable. I actually signed a maintainence agreement because Brian was so pleasant and thorough and they had the staff to accommodate an emergency call.

These guys are awesome . I am in real estate sells so we use many vendors each month . I happen to speak with Wally and he told me about the company he works for , I decided to give them a try . Wow am I glad I did . The technician called me when he arrived at the home , called after he assessed the unit , fixed the unit . All we asked for was to repair red tag item from Southwest Gas . This is what he did , installed a extra device needed , checked the unit from top to bottom , cleaned unit , replaced filter . Charge was for the service call only , and was a very reasonable price . When our team who sells over 125 homes per year has to recommend a heating and cooling company we recommend Williamson's Heating and Cooling , Thanks Wally Job Well Done

Update to initial review. Got a call from Willamson's this morning expressing concern over my disappointment with them over the tech appt for a system test. I am pleased they reached out to me to discuss the situation pleasantly and effectively, offering me complementary service to heal the wounds of the previous encounter. I've never updated a review I've written because the businesses I've reviewed haven't replied until now. If you want to know how to go from a 1-star to a 5-star review it's in how you handle a less than desirable incident. I haven't replaced my system yet but when the time comes Willimson's will be the first place I call.

It was a sweltering 106 degrees on the Saturday before July 4th when my AC completely died.  My friend Judy highly recommended Williamson's, so I called them, but expecting to hear, next week is as soon as we can get there.   Not only did Walter came to my house the same day, but he also repaired it for a fraction of what I thought it would cost.  Five stars for this wonderful business!

Note: My AC is 20 years old and they could have easily sold me a new one.  So I know they're honest!
