Oh I couldn't agree more with the last reviewer. I had similar experience. The same technician, Shelby, showed up and barely performed any diagnostic to the current issues. I knew right away that he was disinterested in the service or care about what's needed to be done.  It was apparent that he just wanted to move on to the next call to collect another service charge. Maybe I'm old school, passionate and care about what I do which was not the case for this guy!!! Never got a follow up call from this company or this guy to see if I needed anything else while waiting for home warranty to approve. Folks looking for a good plumbing company- this is a NO GO!!!

My grandmother called her owners warrenty (one guard)to check the garage disposal and water heater in her house ; they sent stellar. My grandmother said they were two clean cut young men who were vet pleasant and kind. They did not beat around the bush or try to push her into things that were unneeded. They fixed the water heater and replaced the garbage disposal.  They didn't futz around ans try to fix the dosposal like so many others might they were stair forward and got the job done quickly. My grandmother was impeded by their professionalism and wonderful customer service.

My house was flooded at 4 am, ServoPro came almost immediately and vacuumed the water.  M Stellar Home SErvice, Dirk, came within house and replaced my hot water heater that had apparently burst during the night.  I cannot say enough positive about Paul and Dirk from Stellar Home Service, Both worked diligently to get my water back on in the house and replace the hot water heater. Prompt, efficient, professional and friendly.  I would recommend this company anytime to anyone. they are great and their customer service deserves more than 5 stars.

Paul came out and installed a kitchen faucet (under a Platinum Home Warranty so I can't address what their price was...I just paid the deductible) quickly and correctly. He also spent significant time as a favor to me when asked to identify why my irrigation supply was not shutting off correctly when I left for the summer. He figured out where the failed shutoff valve was and I am going to have them do the repair. He, however, was not aiming to get new business but just to be helpful and that really impressed me. Thanks!!!

Breath of fresh air.  Like many of the reviewers here, OneGuard home warranties sent Stellar Home Services to my house to check out my water heater.  The owner Paul called to schedule the appointment and the next day a very clean cut gentleman showed up at my house.  The issue I had was I noticed that the pan under the water heater had some water in it.  He checked every inch of the water heater and was unable to locate where the water was coming from.  He left asking that I watch the pan and see if it happens again and they will plan on replacing the water heater just to play it safe.  

About five days later the same gentleman returns and checks the water heater again unable to locate the issue (he was confident that their was not an issue with the water heater).  I appreciate that.  For any company this would have been a super way to make a buck by swapping my heater as the warranty company was covering the costs.  I think that this shows the ethics of a company not doing work just to do work.  On the flip side, I sure do hope he is correct, if my house floods due to my water heater, rest assured I will be giving Stellar a call and letting all the fine people on Yelp know.  Until then, I will be referring my friends and family to Stellar as they are an ethical company who appears to have the customers best interest.  I can't speak to their pricing although it seems to be quite fair based on other Yelpers experience.

Showed up without notification to me and was forced to rush home. Brought the wrong part and had to go without for two more days of hot water just wow because they had more jobs to do that day! Never  again

Installed a light fixture, Nicked and dimed me after the work was done on an easy install job, (after they gave me a bid over the phone). Make sure they honor the bid if you do use them.  I just felt it was unprofessional and I'm not a fan of bait and switch operations.

I will never do business with this company again.  They were sent to me through my home warranty office twice, and both times they failed to fully fix plumbing problems.  The worst part, however, is that Paul was dishonest with me.  He told me I didn't want a certain kind of recirculating pump because it was the cheapest made, and that they carried a much better brand.  But, when the technician came to replace my pump, he was sent out with the brand that was 'the cheapest made'.  So, I'm stuck with that unless I want to replace it myself with something better.  Then, when the technician verified that the water from the heater is brownish, he told me that means the heater is rusted out and needs to be replaced.  My home warranty states that water heater replacement is covered, but Paul told the technician to tell me it wasn't covered because the unit had not completely failed, i.e., it is still heating and delivering hot water.  I contacted the home warranty company and they told me it was because Paul said.  I asked them why the plumber was telling them what they covered!  Since I don't plan to wait until the heater completely rusts and dumps water everywhere, and because I do not wish to shower, bathe, wash dishes, etc., in 'dirty' water, I will pay to have it replaced without the assistance of my home warranty (One Guard).  There are other things about dealing with Stellar that I have been unhappy with, but I will leave it at this.

Our home warranty company had Stellar Home Services service our garbage disposal system.   We didn't expect them to to call since it was after hours when we filed the claim.   Not only did they call immediately, they came the very next morning. Art the service tech was great. He ended up replacing our entire system and it was complete in a timely manner. My husband and I were impressed and we will defiantly be calling them with any future issues. Thank you.

Andrew came out on the fly to replace my kitchen sink faucet. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and so very kind. His customer service and work was pronominal and I couldn't have been more satisfied. A few days later I decided to upgrade my master bathroom shower head, and without a second thought I dialed up Andrew. Once again, his continued professionalism and craftsmanship went above and beyond my expectations. I cannot rant and rave enough. If you need work done, call Andrew!

My home warranty company sent them out for an issue with my sink. They came out and took 2 pictures and went outside to make a call. Came back in to let me know the warranty wouldn't cover the problems which I understood. I asked for the quote then said I needed to call and check with my husband. Before even letting me make the call he gave me his business card, told me they couldn't even do any work today and left my house.

So now I'm left with a useless kitchen sink and dishwasher for the weekend!  Why even come out if you aren't going to fix anything?

My hot water heater failed and I didn't notice until it was leaking.  I sent a message to my home warranty company on Saturday and Paul contacted me on Sunday to confirm and appointment on Monday between 8 and 12.  Two wonderful men arrived, explained to me the process and additional charges due to a difference in specifications.  The additional cost was understandable.  They replace my water heater immediately and left everything spotless.  They also observed a mold issue and placed me in contact with a company who could come out within an hour to evaluate the issue.  I would highly recommend this company to service my needs again if needed.  Thank you so much!!

They did a great job I'm replacing our water heater. The guy that came out was friendly and explained everything and answered questions. We were very satisfied with the guy that came out, I believe his name was Brandon. So if the company is reading this review make sure he knows he's doing a great job.

Had Stellar come out as part of home warranty work to replace the garbage disposal. The front office (owner?) Paul is not trustworthy and doesn't return voicemails. I wanted to upgrade the disposal and pay the difference, quoted me $450 to upgrade to a disposal that costs $330 off the shelf at Lowe's/Home Depot. He said no other options existed, despite other contractors and stores having options.
He also lied about the cost to do the work to the home warranty people so they would only give me $90 if I wanted to cancel the work and have someone else do it (should have been ~$200 according to the on site guys). Super shady business practices. Lastly, it took 9 days for them to replace the disposal, refusing to upgrade to anything other than what they had in the truck.

Why two stars instead of one? The guys performing the work were good, very friendly and moved quickly. Unfortunate that the front office doesn't share the same ethics.

Stellar came out to replace a water heater. They were assigned to do the work by One Guard Home Warranty. Stellar called and set up the time to come out to do the work. They then asked if i would send them a photo of the water heater, which I did. Seemed strange thou because no one had ever requested a photo  before.  They showed up when they said they would. The technician takes one look at the water heater and tells me it will cost an additional $110 for modifications , which one guard does not cover. I asked what modifications. The old heater and new heater were exactly alike, just different manufacturer. He said he had to replace line for pressure relief valve and exhaust: I disagreed and told them they could use what was there. They said it would not work and they needed to do the modifications. I watched them the whole time. There were no modifications that needed to be done, they just did some so they could bill me. I had my other water heater replaced about 3 months ago and the plumbing contractor they sent out never charged me a dime for modifications, they considered everything to be classified as installation.

They showed up through our warranty company replaced the water heater did a good job came back after the pilot was blown out by the restoration company and turn my water heater back on. I would've given them five stars except they recommended Rocky Mountains restoration who are the biggest price gouging pretty much theft what they charge for work that probably wasn't needed as it probably could've aired out by itself.Any company that's associated with them I'm concerned

Got referred by OneGuard. Paul Eastman replaced my water heater on a saturday morning. He answered any questions we had and let us watch the install process. (the pipe cutter and blow torch were the highlights)....He did a stellar job, I recommend them if you need a water heater replacement.

I worked with Paul at Stellar from my warranty company OneGuard.  Totally impressed. Did what they said they would do.  4 guys in clean uniforms showed up.  They replaced my hot water heater professionally and accurate.  Swept up after themselves.  A rare treat these days in an ocean of bad customer service.   Good Job Guys!

I had a leak from my water main close to the meter shortly after the city replaced the water meters on our street. Because it was on my side of the meter, the city said it was my responsibility. Had the water shut off to the house and so I try to find a plumber quickly. Stellar couldn't get me until the next morning so in my urgency I tried another plumber. The name on the van that showed up was different than the name on the Google searched phone number that I called, and my $50 diagnostic fee only bought me the response that to the plumber did not have the tools to fix the job. He did attempt to call others to find the tools that he would need and provided me an estimate for $2,400. At that time I called Stellar back to get on their schedule for tomorrow. Stellar was able to complete this same job for $700. One of the two plumbers that did the work kept me informed during the whole repair. He showed me the problem with the section that was removed and explained that it was probably due to wear over time with the hard water in our area and just a coincidence in timing with the meter repair. I guess I learned my lesson to wait for quality service.

I was referred to this stellar business from my One Guard home warranty! Our water heater was not sufficient and we would run out of hot water in 15 minutes. Stellar Home Services scheduled an appointment that week to come out and diagnose the issue. It turns out that our heater was too small to sustain the size of our home. The technicians were very friendly and professional. We decided to have them replace our heater with a larger one. Paul came out on a Saturday morning to remove and install the new unit. We were fascinated by how fast everything was done in one hour. He showed us how to drain the tank once a year to keep things flowing smoothly. We also had questions about our toilets and he was really nice and helped us adjust a few things. I will definitely contact them again if I need any future plumbing services!!

Worst company I have ever worked with! Had a tech Andrew come for a leaky faucet. Was very unprofessional. Didn't fix anything. In fact the dripping faucet is now a running faucet that you can't turn off. He closed the order and said he fixed it. The water is literally running. I am shocked that this company had a single good review. Definitely save yourself the headache and use another company.

We had a leaky hose bib in our front yard that would not stop dripping! After trying to fix it a couple times myself we set up a service request through our home warranty to have it taken care of. The tech called to give us a heads up, came promptly and replaced the whole thing. Awesome neat service. Highly recommend

My hose bib broke off in my backyard. My home warranty had this place come out. So they tell me I need a restoration company. So funny thing is my dad works plumbing. The restoration place pays the plumber 1000 just for calling them. I have kids and needed water. The plumber was saying there was water damage. Well I had a different plumber come and they fixed it and there was no water damage. Do not let this company scam you. ​

A friend referred me to Stellar Home Services and told me how great they were. I I had a hot water problem in my house. I had had another plumbing company out to my house four times trying to resolve the issue. Within 10 minutes of Paul being there He diagnosed the problem as a bad valve on my recirculating system. He ordered the part, returned, and had it fixed in about 20 minutes. Absolutely amazing. His price was about a third of what the previous contractor had charged me. Totally clean-cut guys, arrived on time and left everything clean. I wish every contractor could be like this!

Had my water heater replaced today in less then 1 hour. Paul provided a new 50 gallon electric water heater with new hoses and valves. Took the old water heater all for a very reasonable price of less then $550. Water heater is up and running now, and looks great.

Highly recommend his service!

We had an old water heater go bad and flood the garage. I called Stellar Home Services that night. They were at my house the next day with a new water heater! Saved me money annually by converting to gas from electric. Professional soldering, clean install, great price! Staff was very kind with my family and friendly. Hauled off the old unit and left the work area trash free. Highly recommended. 10/10

Our water heater crapped out, and these guys come to replace it. Their appointment times were pretty inconvenient, but I rearranged my schedule, as is typical of contractors.  However, when they showed up, they walked into my garage and said yup, you need to replace it. we can go ahead and do that but it will cost an additional $115 for code modifications.  Then when I told them that my home warranty actually covers code modifications, they said to call the warranty company. When I called the warranty company, they stated that the contractor hadn't called in a diagnosis yet, and they couldn't give me any feedback on pricing. When Stellar called in the diagnosis, they changed their story, obviously realizing that I would pay them more than the warranty company would, and suddenly these code modifications weren't at all code related. They can't explain to me what they are, but they're just necessary.  To compound my frusteration, they attempted to turn the water off to my house with my neighbor's meter and then told me my meter was broken and I'd have to call the city to have it fixed! Luckily, while I was on hold with the city, my neighbor came out wondering why her water was off! I would never call these guys!!

Beware!  Stellar was sent to my home by my home warranty company OneGuard, for a leak in a pipe. When they showed up they did't have the proper equipment to complete the job leaving me to reschedule another 4 hour window out of my workday to wait for them.  After the pipe was replaced, they damaged two valves in the process and now I have leaking in two additional areas that I am told will cost an additional $350 each to fix. I've made several attempts to contact them, texted Matt and asked him to have Paul call me.  That was over a week ago and here I sit, with two leaks that I didn't have before they got here.  Poor.  Just bad business.

Our water heater was acting very odd, so my landlord setup an appointment with Stellar Home Services.  I was in contact with Paul thought that same  day, and he was trying really hard to  get me squeezed into the schedule for the day. Late that afternoon Paul got back to me stating that he was really sorry but wasn't going to be able to have anyone come out, but because he get sorry that we didn't have any hot water he put me on the schedule for an early morning appointment on Saturday and  wouldn't charge us the after hours rate! Andrew showed up Saturday and promptly found a short in the control box. After replacing it he took pictures of the serial number and the control box saying if needed they can order new parts and have them sent to us, then we could ccsll and schedule a time to have them installed.
All things considered, I was very impressed with the crew at  Stellar Homes!  I would highly recommend Paul and Andrew to you.

Stellar homes was assigned by Oneguard Home Warranty to come fix my toilet tower.  As the first tech came for service, instead of changing out the tower he just put back the red washer in it's normal placing.  The washer was warped and got loose again, hence the toilet running again.  The owner had me take a photo of the tower and told me that he would replace the whole tower.  When the second tech got here he was very unprofessional who argued with me on why I didn't need a new tower but a new washer, for there was nothing wrong with the tower.  Funny, same thing happened with my other bathroom and another contractor changed the whole tower.  The owner was dishonest with me and the tech was rude and argumentative.  I told Oneguard to take them off my request list indefinitely.  Don't use these guys if you want to be inconvenienced and unhappy.  The moral of this all is they cared more about the warranty companies money then the consumers satisfaction.

Stellar replaced the water heater at my house several years ago.  Paul (the owner) & his crew showed up on time, and installed the new unit for a very competitive price (which I'd gleaned from the co's frequent listings/postings on a certain c-list website we've all heard about).  They also brought the unit up-to-code by brazing in a hard-piped drain line, for a fairly nominal up-charge.

The 6-year (manufacturer's) warranty documentation seemed a bit cheesy, in that someone from Stellar simply hand-wrote the install date on a sticker placed atop the unit, but I can't fault them much for that, and in fact recently had them install another Bradford White unit at my girlfriend's home in Gilbert.

I recently worked with Stellar Home Services to provide plumbing repair work from my home warranty. This was my first experience with One Guard home warranty, and first with Stellar Home Services. I had an issue with a phantom flushing toilet, and leaking water shutoff valve to my washing machine. Both issues were taken care of completely within 48 hours of contacting One Guard. I received a two hour service window, they arrived on time with a call ahead, were polite and skilled. Everything was fixed for only one service call charge, I'm very satisfied and surprised as I've experienced issues with other home warranty companies in the past. I intend to contact Stellar Home Services in the future for non warranty issues.

person came from Steller home service assigned by OneGuard Home warranty company. He didn't check properly my kitchen water drain issue and told me to call any other one who can look with the help of camera. He pretended the issue is not normal and looks big issue which is not handled by his company. I called other plumber and he did in 15-20 min and everything looks cool.

We have an old house with multiple problems over the years with the tub in the hall bathroom draining slow.  Recently found a pool of water under the tub due to a corroded cast iron sewer pipe.  Grant from Stellar Home Service was great and had the problem exposed and repaired in a couple of hours.  No leaks and the tub drains quickly now.

Andrew and a colleague showed within the arrival window. He quickly diagnosed the problem, confirmed he had the part in his vehicle and then told me he had to come back on another day because he was booked solid!  I told the receptionist what the issue was, Andrew confirmed the diagnosis and had to come back!!!  I had to take another 1/2 day off from work. This was completely unacceptable and none of it made sense.

He showed the following day, five minutes outside the scheduled window, and completed the service 23 minutes after starting. Work was done neatly and professionally.

Only issue I had was the rescheduling which still
makes no sense.

Had they not pulled the rescheduling nonsense they would have received five stars.

Stellar Home Services was contracted by Oneguard to remove and replace (R&R) a Moen 1222 valve cartridge that malfunctioned which did not allow the shutoff of water to our shower.  We had to shut off the main valve that allowed the flow of water to the whole house.  Removing the valve cartridge is a simple procedure but it was stuck in its housing and I did not want to risk damaging the pipes behind the wall by pulling too vigorously on it.  There is a special tool to remove this cartridge and I didn't have it.  I called Stellar and asked them if they could possibly come out and to R&R the valve and they responded within one hour!

Juan and Mike arrived and were very professional and courteous.  The job was completed within 15 minutes.  When they were done, Juan asked if we had any other questions, even unrelated ones, on any issues we had relative to plumbing.  They gave us some valuable advice.  

I want to thank Juan and Mike for an outstanding experience.  I'm not sure why there have been other negative reviews pointed at Stellar but from my experience with them, they are top notch and deserve kudos for a job well done.

Paul and his crew from Stellar Home Services just left after replacing my water heater.  I could not be more pleased with their service.  He called when he was about 20 minute away, and got here right when he said he would.  He came with two other technicians.  The old water heater was out and the new one was being filled almost before I knew what was happening.  They were very efficient and all 3 worked very well together.  They were done in under 45 minutes.  The area was cleaner than it was before they got here.  Great job, Paul and team!!

Needed a new water heater installed and luckily found their ad.  Very fair pricing, professional, exactly what they quoted on the phone.  They got the water heater installed in less than an hour, supplied me with the rebate information & cleaned up after too.  Couldn't be happier, I highly recommend.

I'm too quick to review.  Juan changed the main controlling gas valve of my water heater.  When he finished he did not tighten the pilot light fitting and gas is leaking.  Luckily a friend came over and smell it. We old people lost some of our sense of smell.  We called southwest gas emergency and they fixed the problem today.

I contacted Paul Wednesday evening by text after seeing sterling reviews on Yelp and another popular contractor referral site, as well as verifying a zero complaint history with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors. He responded that evening with an out-the-door price that was more than 25% less than the other contractor referral I was given a quote from. I was worried it was too good to be true, but decided to trust the feedback left from other customers. He DELIVERED! So refreshing to have a contractor deliver in every category. Price - check - lowest I found; Quality - Check, - no complaints; Responsiveness - Check, owner responded within an hour even though it was late evening, then had the crew show up early the next afternoon and complete the job; Punctuality - Check, - Was given a 12-4pm arrival window and they showed up at 1 PM; Professionalism - Check, owner and crew were articulate, tidy, efficient and knowledgeable. Overall - I was skeptical because of the great price, but was very satisfied and will refer to my real estate investor clients and general contractors!

What a great experience!  Stellar came out and replaced my water heater yesterday.  The scheduling process was very easy and they were able to find a time that would fit in with my work schedule.  Both of the technicians were super polite and professional.  They explained what they were doing and completed the removal of my worn out water heater AND the installation of my new water heater in just about an hour!  I will definitely call them again for any issues that come up in my home!  GREAT JOB GUYS!

I give this warranty company 10 stars. Andrew was so sweet and helpful on getting the drop down pole taken care of so that the new fan could be hung...Andrew and Matthew make a wonderful team..They showed up promptly ready to go with gear in hand and what they needed at the door. Called late Tuesday night with a dead water heater got Paul on the phone. Set up a replacement for the next day. Cody showed up neat and on time. Inspected my water heater (it was a known lemon designed whirlpool). Drained and removed it. Replaced it with the new model in a quick and orderly manner. Took less than an hour. I've used Stellar before years ago and the service was great. On time, no hidden fees or up-selling. Great Job!

I have had Stellar Services out multiple times through my home warranty. For things like my toilet or sinks. They have been friendly, reliable and down good work every time. I have used them outside of the warranty service as well to install a new toilet in my home. Next up- new faucets. What's great is the Plummer is always willing to guide me on what I will need and makes sure you are satisfied with their work. I have found my go-to for anything plumbing and plan on seeing what else they can do in the future for me.

Stellar Home Services (contracted by One Guard Home Warranties) came out to fix the diverter on our upstairs bath and also replaced the spout and bath nozzles. Whatever the fixed was not a permanent fix and now water is leaking through the garage again because diverter is still not fixed. The spout they replaced was not even secured on the wall as it now can be pulled off. I am so disappointed that it took several weeks for them to even make the repair sending different people every time and then they were so careless to not do proper repairs.

Stellar came out under a request to our home warranty service. They came right away for a clogged toilet after a foreign item was flushed. I let them in and explained the issue. They didn't acknowledge the issue at all and just ignored me. After about 30 seconds he came out, said he was finished and walked towards the front door. I asked him to test it and the toilet was still flushing slow and not well. He said it was fine and he couldn't do anything about the toilet flushing slow. He then said maybe it is an old toilet that is working right. My home was built in 2018 and the toilet flushed fine before the item was flushed. He left and I tested the toilet by flushing the toilet paper and it did not go down. If this company is sent by your home warranty company, ask for someone else. They are just trying to make a quick buck and were extremely unprofessional without fixing the issue.

Recently One Guard Warranty referred Stellar after I opened a claim for water heater, the tech, Shelby, showed up for less than 5 mins without performing a thorough diagnostic and said my PSI was too high and left in a hurry.  What the heck does this mean???  This was the worse $69 service fees I ever spent! Regardless to say, One guard had to send a second contractor out to my home, who took his time to review the issues. Although the problems were not solved but the customer management is worth noting for the next poor soul who need help resolving any issues when calling or contracting with  Stellar.

Paul, the owner of Stellar Home Services replaced a water heater for me.  He was on time as promised.  He called when close to the house.  There were 3 technicians on the job.  They quickly and efficiently completed the job, cleaned up the job site and left.  I was impressed with their work.  Their price was reasonable compared to other bids.  The quality of work was excellent.  I recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing or any other work.

OMG!  Stellar Home Services...can't say enough good things. My water heater started leaking around 8am. I called another company who quoted me almost $1400 for a 50 gallon water heater!! Seemed very high, so I called Stellar based on a friend referral (which I should have done first).

Gave me a quote over the phone and had someone here within 3 hours. Took them 45 minutes, if that, to remove, install, and clean up. Seriously, left it cleaner than they found it. End price, everything included was $650, less than half what the 'other guy' was going to charge. I will definitely call again when we need repairs.

Have nothing but great things to say about this company. They are professional, on time and courteous. I had them replace a hot water heater due to mine leaking, they were in and out in about an hour. We called our home warranty company they sent out steller home services 2 so-called technician came out and said we did not have a backed up Sewer line  and we did they just take your money and do the job. Ended up calling another company the technician came out and cleaned the drains for half the price. We will never use them again. And also canceled our home warranty with On Guard bunch of crooks

Stellar Home service was sent to us by our home warranty for 2 issues. 1) We had a leak under the master bath sink. I had put a little container on the left side where the leak was. The plumber tightened the main drainage part which is in the middle of part under the sink. I told him, that's strange as that is not where it's leaking from. Well, sure enough, it's still leaking. Had my husband look and sure enough there is a leak in the hot water valve which is on the left side. 2) The powder bath toilet still runs water after flushing it. The plumber noticed that the part had a bungee cord to it that was causing it. We obviously didn't know and it was done by the previous owner. Anyway, they said they would order the part and re-schedule. Well, 2 weeks later I call Paul to find out about the part and when they would come back. He said he would check on it and call me back. He also said that I had to call back the home warranty for them to fix the master bath sink even though they never fixed it. Well I call them to re-issue another service call for the sink and I also complained that they still haven't fixed the powder bath toilet nor updated me on the part they were suppose to order. Well, insurance tells me the toilet is not covered! I am going to fight this as we didn't know it was worked on improperly (which according to contract it should be covered). But, what I am upset over is that Stellar Home Service not only could not find the leak but instead tightens up a different area that has no leak. But, also I'm really not happy that they didn't even call me to give me any updates. I had to call them 2 wks later and find out from the home warranty when I called them! Stellar home services, NOT SO STELLAR!!!

We thought our Hot Water Heater was bad. Paul showed up today and changed the piping that was rusted out. Put in nice stainless flex pipe and brass fittings. We were back up and running in under 30 minutes and he said we didn't need a new water heater. He said all looked good. Woohoo.

IT'S NOT HOW YOU START; BUT INSTEAD HOW YOU FINISH!

I was really looking forward to experiencing the same quality and care the reviews stated, but instead something different.

Paul scheduled a specific date and told me he needed a 5 hour window. I figured he would be at my home within the time frame he gave me unfortunately for me and my super busy schedule he was late, not only late - but forgot to call & notify me. After much attempt I finally got in contact with him. He mentioned car trouble.  Car trouble? I thought. I was okay with car trouble but not okay with not getting a phone call. I already had so much to do and it required me to leave my home. None the less, Paul said he would have a guy out - so my husband and I waited... and waited...and waited.

We were beginning to wonder where this person was - when suddenly we heard our doorbell. Outside our home was a young man named Juan. We greeted him and escourted him to our water heater. He looked it over throughly and went straight to work. He was friendly and knowledgeable which was pleasing to us. He gave us insight on what the issue was and also offered extended ways to maintain the water heater we had. We got a little more into conversation and realized it was his day off and because Paul was in a pickle he called onto his fellow employee to handle our situation.  I was pleased with the service and my husband and I felt convicted that we were so upset at the situation, when really this company could have just re-scheduled. Instead this young man stepped in.  

As he left, I gave him some goodies due to being a pastry chef and thanked him unconditionally. I then recieved a follow up call from Paul; he was very apologetic. After everything had taken place I could see how this company deserves great reviews.  So here I am, a very happy woman, blessed and amazed at what this experience has taught me.

I was so pleased with the service. They were out to our house within a day of contacting them to fix our shower faucet (it was becoming difficult to shut off). Juan called us with an approximate arrival time, well within the window we were given. He fixed our shower in a timely manner and even tightened up our kitchen faucet. He and his assistant were extremely polite and professional. The price was at the lower end of what we were quoted. We were both amazed with the customer service we received and will definitely keep Stellar Home Services in our binder of people to call. Thank you!!

If I had a 0 rating to choose I would push 0 I missed 3 days work waiting for the plumber to show up after he had made 2 appointments with me to replace a foot piece of copper pipe above my stove that leaked from the bathroom upstairs fluttered my kitchen I missed 3 days work missing $1700 wages waiting like a fool for 3 days to no Avail finally they showed up. I went 3 days without taking a shower. Not being able to cook having to get water from my neighbors.  For my dog totally unexpectable service. Everyone will be on my family will get on and tell everybody not to go to stellar services. And my 78 years on this planet. I have never had such crummy response to any service call. And I have owned 6 houses unacceptable. I should get some kind of a refund or something.

I was pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. I was dreading making a claim,  expecting the usual issues I've experienced in the past with other warranty companies and their chosen vendors. There was a lengthy wait to finally speak to Anna the rep. Who took my claim but it was smooth sailing from there. Paul from stellar home services called within the set window and we made an appointment the day after next. Jacob called 25 minutes before showing up and was very friendly and communicative though out their visit. They tried repairing the garbage disposal before realizing it definitely needed replacing and did so in record time before moving on to the water heater and doing the same, after confirming the leak they rapidly orchestrated the delivery of the new unit. I was not entirely happy with having to pay an additional $130 out of pocket for what they called modifications that were no more than replacing the hoses leading to the water heater, which I'd figure is part of standard replacement.  From start to finish the whole visit lasted less than 2 hours. They were very respectful of our home making sure to keep everything clean and even made a baby wipe, wipe down of everything before leaving. We're very pleased. Everyone was very professional.

First and foremost,  I am curious why the technician entered my home without a mask on.  Do we not have a threat anymore.  

My second problem is when they came to me house May 2nd for a garbage disposal.  They got the garbage disposal unstuck and told me if it happens again they would have to replace the disposal. Because there was rust and other build up.  Matter a fact there was so much build up he told me to use vinangerand baking soda.  Said that would help with some build up.  Apparently that doesn't work because disposal got stuck again.  Called my home warranty they sent same guy out I believe the name was ( Randy ) I would have to check my inside home surveillance system with audio. About name.  Technician unstuck disposal and said there you go.  I reminded him of what he said last time about having to replace the disposal.  He denied saying that.  Next thing I will be doing is posting the video and audio of what he said last time and what he said today.  Very dishonest.  I will be posting videos to Reddit and every social media blog out there.  Hopefully this will be the last time they lie to a client.  I have also copied this and am posting to every social review as well

Stellar Home Services of Goodyear AZ was absolutely outstanding. Their customer service was through the roof. I had a toilet in the upstairs bathroom of my rental in Glendale AZ leak and go down through the wall and come out in the downstairs bedroom.  I had another person come out and give me a bid, said I should contact my insurance company because I it was going to cost between $2,000 - $4,000. He never sent me an invoice. I got a second opinion. I contacted my Home Warranty company, One Guard who referred SHS. The work was done quick and it only cost me $400. The other company tried to screw me. Apparently that company, according to Yelp reviews have done that with other people. I highly recommend using Stellar Home Service as you will not be disappointed. Great work and most importantly, they are honest.

My wife called Stellar Home Services (after I found them on Yelp) because our 20+ year old gas water heater started leaking.  Paul quoted her a price and said he could be there in 1-2 hours.  He (and a coworker) arrived after two hours and was done 45 minutes later.  I was very impressed with their work.  He replaced everything including the pan and the supply valve that hadn't worked in years.  After looking up prices of similar units, and considering all other factors, I think the price was very fair.  I'd definitely call him again.

Snow birded in and had SW Gas come out and relight everything.  Everything worked for half an hour.  Hot water heater went out.  We tried, but could not restart it.  I called out SW Gas and they came out and restarted it.  Half hour later, it was out again.  I called SW and they gave me 3 companies to call.  None were close to me.  I found Stellar on-line and called.  Paul, the owner answered.  I gave him the symptoms and he gave me three choices.  I said I wanted to replace the tank and then he asked me what brand I wanted.  He could get it but it would take longer - about an hour or so.  He suggested another brand and I went with it.  He pulled up early and was out in 30 minutes.  All business.  Disconnected the old tank, installed the new one, cleaned up and settled up and they were on their way.  They never stopped working and Paul's helper ran the entire time he was here.  I've owned rental houses and apartment buildings for 30 years.  I have never seen such service.  I was amazed.  

Do yourself a favor and call Stellar.  You will be doing yourself a disservice if you hire anyone else.

Stellar Home Services was assigned to my home by my home warranty service.  I needed my kitchen faucet changed out to a new one I had already purchased.  I was told that one of their plumbers would be at my house at 2pm.  At 2pm my husband answered the door, and it was the plumber, a Caucasian young man.  He showed him to the kitchen, he looked my husband in the face and said, I don't have time for this and he abruptly left my house.  You see, we are a gay couple.  I am white and my husband is black.  So, it was either a gay thing as to why he left, or it was a black thing.  Because, why else would he have walked in and immediately leave?  He knew he was there to change out the faucet so why would he come if he didn't have time for this?  I called my home warranty service and they apologized profusely, and the next day sent their own personal plumber who did a wonderful job.  I do not want to mention my home warranty service because they do a fantastic job, and they made an honest mistake by sending someone from this horrible service to my home.  I was even told by my home warranty service that their HR department was going to be involved in this.  If you are straight and white, they may do a good job for you.

If I could do less than one star I would. These people came out after we had a home inspector tell us there was corrosion all over one of the pipes showing an obvious very slow leak. I could see the slow leak. They refuse to replace it telling the home warranty that they could not see an active leak just corrosion. Dumbass where do you think the corrosion comes from. Won't ever allow them on one of my properties again.

I panicked after waking up to find my hot water heater leaking all over the garage. I called up the number on the existing water heater and was quoted an outrageous amount for repair. Frustrated, I begin searching on Craigslist, found a listing by Paul and hesitantly gave him a call. Stellar was able to come out the same day, AND quoted me HALF the price of the other place. He displayed the utmost professionalism every time I spoke with him, from the initial phone call to shaking his hand upon departure. He arrived when he said he was going to, completed the work in a very efficient manner, and the price I paid was exactly what I was quoted. Home warranty sent Stellar to fix my ceiling fan. They were supposed to be there from 8-12. I called at 12 and they said there was a mistake and someone was heading over. The tech arrived with an attitude not wanting to hear what the issue was. My wife attempted to explain upon deaf ears as the tech completely dismissed what she was saying. My wife explained that after a while of operating the fan you can hear a scratching noise and then the smell of burnt plastic. We have observed smoke pouring out of the unit after operating for a couple hours. The rep simply stated, No mechanical issue observed. If he would have observed the fan for more than the 3 minutes he was there, maybe something would have been observed.

This is the second time stellar has been at my home  and I had to call them back to actually fix the problem or explain how to recreate the problem. Coincidentally, it was another ceiling fan. Maybe the tech doesn't like changing fans. Maybe a fear of heights. Maybe it's just laziness and poor work ethic.

Here is the icing on the cake. I have the tech leaving my house and putting down some rubber in front of my house by way of smoking the tires. I do have video and hope that stellar reaches out to try and resolve the issue.

We were looking to upgrade our hot water heater to a high efficiency model but wanted to make sure we used a quality contractor for the installation. Unethical company!  Brandon and Paul are pushing their own remediation company instead of providing plumbing services. We had the exact same experience as Lisa B. See her review. It could be insurance fraud scam.
We submitted a service order with One Guard Home Warranty for a leaky 13 years old water heater.  They sent out Stellar Home Services. Brandon said that he can send his water remediation company right away to pull out the drywall. He said there is water everywhere, in the other room, in the bathroom. The drywall needs to be pulled put immediately.  We could have the home insurance pay for the remediation.
We advised him that we will do our own remediation, he should just remove the water heater first. He said OK. 1 hour later, Medina from One Guard Home Warranty called and said that she is not approving the water heater replacement. She says, it is not normal wear and tear on the 13 year old water heater, it is the high water pressure in the house. The pressure she says is 80 psi. We take a different plumber to the house 1 hour later. The pressure is 70 psi, according to the other plumber.

Our water heater busted on Friday at 3:30 p.m. We called our home warranty, OneGuard, and Stellar Home Services came out to our house on Saturday afternoon!!!! We were so grateful that we didn't have to wait until Monday for someone to come. They called to give us an estimate of when they'd be here; they were a little late, but called again to give us a more precise time. They arrived and spent less than 30 minutes replacing our water heater. The guys were nice and friendly, but went straight to work. They came, did their job efficiently, and left in no time. Having a second home in Surprise and needing a plumber to install a new sink, faucet and disposal on the week day I was able to be in town Stellar was recommended to me and I was so pleased! They were fabulous . The owner Paul performed work on cutting the counter top for the sink I provided to fit properly without me having to fly back to AZ to line up another contractor on another date . His technician Juan and crew were professional and the job was perfect! I rate them 5 stars!!

The job to fix my broken water heater was reassigned to stellar my OneGuardafter the previously assigned contractor bailed on the original appointment and tried to schedule another week out. This company was assigned to us by our home warranty company and upon arrival the tech either did not understand what the actual problem was or just didn't feel like doing the work. He said our faucet was leaking because it was missing the aerator and that the warranty would not cover the work. He spent more time recommending a remediation company that he did diagnosing our problem. We asked our warranty company to send another company out for a second opinion, they did and that company actually fixed the faucet. Our warranty company and the second company were wonderful. Stellar was definitely NOT Stellar.

Rude 5min rule. I'm told to wait around for 4 hours, 12pm-4pm for them to show up whenever they happen to get there. They don't call before they arrive and I had an emergency which required me to step away from my home for a moment. Andrew happened to arrive in that moment and said we don't wait longer than 5min, your appointment has been canceled - I can't believe that while I was on the phone with him, telling him that I'm literally 5min away. Nope. We don't wait, you'll need to reschedule.

No where in the planning process when I called to schedule the appt. was I ever told that if I don't answer the door within 5min, whether I'm in the shower, using the bathroom, walking my dog, or tending to an emergency... that if the technician waits over 5min and 1 second... the trip is canceled, I need to reschedule and accrue another fee.

Not even the courtesy of calling or texting prior to arrival that they'd be on their way or arriving soon.

If you are a customer of One Guard Home Warranty do NOT let this company in your home. They will not fix what's wrong and they won't help you figure it out.

What a great service call.  My technician, Andrew, was so courteous and knowledgeable.  He arrived on time, in a mask, and carefully listened to me as I explained the stoppage in the kitchen.  He worked on fixing it, and he did!  He also spent time explaining to me what he did.  Also explained if it happened again, what I should do.  Great service from a very knowledgeable technician.

Not impressed!  They wanted to install a damged (new) water heater.  When confronted they stated well it was that way when we took it out of the box.  Unacceptable!  Upon returning (the next day), they installed the copper drain tube straight from the front of the unit to the wall across the space where the water softener will be installed.  There should have been a couple of extra 90 degree bends to accommodate the water softener.  Which is exactly how the old unit was piped.  They refused to re-pipe it saying let the water softener people worry about it.  The only upside is that we finally have hot water 2 days later.  As for the install....poorly done!  We will have to have someone come back out and pay to have it piped correctly so we can have the water softener installed.
