We received service from Plumbing Medic recently for a broken host. And we are very unhappy with your service because the low quality of your work! The new host is not properly installed. It shake with the pipes. We need someone to fix the lousy work from the last time!

They were the 4th company I had give me an estimate on repairing/replacing a collapsed sewer line. I believe it was Vicky who took my call and got them out quickly (first good impression of this company!) The previous companies went up on my roof to scope it because there was no visible clean out in the front yard. Edwin was the FIRST one who actually bothered to uncover the clean out (which only took him a few minutes).He opened it, ran the camera through it, and showed me as he did it. He explained everything SO well and gave me 3 options. I was so relieved to find a company that is professional, honest, competitively priced and willing to actually go above & beyond. Shout out to Mike who worked like a machine! It was clear by talking with both of them they love working for this company and it shows in their work ethic. I will absolutely use them for ANY plumbing issue!

Plumbing Medic is by far one of the Premier service and plumbing needs providers in the Valley. We are a small business who ran into issues with a water heater that went bad. While they did not serve as our contractor for the ill fated water heater they stepped in and helped where others failed us. From the beginning, the service was top notch. Carlos, our service tech was an amazing breath of fresh air. Impeccable service and incredible knowledge. Called us to follow up and keep us in the loop. Mike our service manager was a blessing. He went above and beyond. Long story short, he saved us a lot of heartache and a lot of money by working miracles for us. I'm not sure if we love this guy is appropriate but we are that appreciative!! We also want to thank Colby and Dannielle for following up with us and the team to ensure that everything was going smoothly and for taking care of us throughout this experience. So I left a poor review. Saying all I got was a HARD sell to buy a tankless system. One if their employees saw it and answered back saying she passed the review on to a manager. Well here we are 5 days later and heard nothing. I went through some
Of their reviews and found others talking about being upset that they got NO plumbing done just a hard sell for tankless systems. Seems as though these guys have a track record for no service just sell!

This is one of those things where it apparently totally depends on what tech you get. First, the pros: They were responsive, they have a weekend answering system set up which was a little odd but worked. We had a tech scheduled to come out on a Saturday within a few hours for a Rheem tankless water heater that stopped working at a rental property. That part was great. Unfortunately, that's where the greatness ended.

Tech met me at the house. First thing he did was explain it was going to be minimum $150 and probably more. Considering I needed to get hot water for my tenant, I didn't have many options. Ran through some stuff and then said, Hm, that's strange, there's no phone number on the heater label. I've never seen that. Do you have the owners manual? I explained if I did it wasn't handy considering I was onsite at the rental property and we'd had the unit for several years. In my mind I was thinking it was an easy Google search, but gave him benefit of the doubt as he called the main office to have them look up a number. He then called Rheem, sat on hold for a bit, and was transferred to someone else. Finally started working with support at Rheem and they walked him through troubleshooting the system.

At this point, he pulls out his multi meter and starts touching things. I hear him say something to the tech and then hang up. He explains to me that his multi-meter stopped working and he needs to go get another one. Ok, fine. He leaves and I hang out sitting on my truck tailgate. After an hour of waiting, I finally call the main office to see what in the world is taking so long. I learn that he's like 20 minutes away in a different part of town at a supply warehouse. For a multi-meter? After around an hour and a half he returns and explains to me that he couldn't find a multi-meter at any stores (????) and therefore couldn't finish anything today. Said something like, I'm not going to spend $30 on a crap meter to then have to turn around and spend $100 on another. Told me he had to have someone else come back tomorrow to finish. I asked if that Rheem tech support line would even be available tomorrow and he said, oh, um, yeah, they should be and then walked away.

I was very frustrated at this point. It'd been over 4 hours and nothing had been done and the tech basically walked away from it. Furthermore, I've used multi-meters for years and while I have a fancy one, I usually use the cheap ones with zero issues. Anyway, the tech left after an entire wasted afternoon. I had to do something, so I took matters into my own hand. I drove half a mile down the road to an Ace hardware, bought a multi-meter for $15, came back, called the number for tech support, they walked me through troubleshooting for 5 minutes, determined what parts were bad and told me they'd overnight them with instructions for me to install them myself. AND WE DIDN'T EVEN USE THE MULTI-METER! Why on Earth couldn't the tech have done this???

Needless to say, I called the main office to cancel the appointment for the next day and vented my frustration. It was completely ridiculous. When I call a supposed expert in a field, I expect them to know more about the subject than me. Today, that was not the case.

Our main sewer line backed up into our showers and toilettes. Plumbing & A/C Medic responded quickly to our inquiries and their prices were the most affordable out of six we shopped-AND THEY WERE READY TO HELP US THAT Evening!! They called me within 5 minutes of us requesting a quote and their technician was at our home within an hour-from Mesa to Phoenix-really great timing! AND this was all on a Sunday night!! Melissa and Natasha were friendly and helpful on the phone and Henry is the technician-he was professional, personable, skilled and knowledgeable!! He really went the extra mile for us-making sure everything worked efficiently before leaving and even made suggestions of how to prevent further issues. We'll for sure keep using this company!!

Had my a/c go out late yesterday morning, and my regular guy couldn't get here before Monday (2 days) morning.

So, I remembered that the guys who replaced my main sewer line, also did A/C. So, I called them up at 5:42PM, and the representative told me that a tech could be here in 60-90 minutes. 8-) Well, by 7:30, no call and no so.

So, I called back to find out what was going on. At 8:02, the tech called and told me that he was still at another customers' house. And, because my gate control doesn't work, I elected to reschedule for the next morning (Sunday).

I had told the tech that I am up early, and he could come by anytime.

Well, at 6:20, I sent him a text. But, I never heard back. So, at 7:00, I called the main office again, and explained the situation. She told me that someone would be here by 10:00. Cool.

Well, at about 7:25, my phone rings, and it's the tech telling me he can be here within 30 minutes, or so. 8-)

He showed up, and fixed the problem. Yea!

While the representatives, and the techs were very polite, and the price was very reasonable (especially for an after hours emergency), I can't give 5 Stars because of the snafu yesterday evening.

I can't say enough good things about this company.
from the owner to the laborers everyone is clean, polite, quick and professional.
I had to have my 83 year old sewer line replaced.
Because of my grandfather's extreme bomb proof construction they had to do almost twice as much work as they thought.
The work was done right and I wasn't charged even one penny over the bid.

Called for a clogged drain and ended up hearing about why I needed to do over $3000 dollars of other things. Felt very much like they use the clogged drain as a in road to upsell customers on a bunch of other unrelated work that may or may not be legit. I think this is their business model. I felt like it was dishonest and sketchy. They also removed the sticker on my hot water heater that was previously on it and placed a giant sticker promoting their company. Didn't ask at all. While one tech talked to me, another one swooped in to switch out the sticker. All in all, not a transparent or upfront experience.

Stay far away. Had an appointment scheduled for an inspection. Then they overbooked and had to reschedule. We reschedules then their technician was sick. Then we rescheduled a 3rd time, and they called us the morning of to confirm and notified us the technician would be there before noon. Then they called again to confirm, I told them you guys already confirmed. At this point it was well past 12 and no one was there. They have to confirm multiple times but no one showed after the first confirmation. Then we called and asked where the technician was and they said sorry we can't help you anymore. Waste of time, No one communicates with each other at this office. They will call and harass you multiple times. Stay away, bad news.

Our water heater was leaking last Friday and I had called the plumbing and AC medic. They gave me a window of 12-4 for someone to come out which was fine since I was stuck at home all day anyways. But to my surprise, I got another call shortly after the first saying that someone would be over at around 10am. Mike and Michael with the glasses (sorry I forgot the last name!) came and were super friendly and knowledge. They explained throughly what the issue was and gave us multiple options to fix the problem. We picked an option and they went straight to work! They were a great team. We were very pleased with the outcome! Thanks Mike and Michael!! Keep up the great work!! I hope we never have any more pluming issues but if we do....we know who to call!

These plumbers came out charged me $70 and they didn't even fix the problem with the toliet. They couldn't even find the clean out and snake the pipe to clear it out. They quoted my mom $2700.00 to put in a clean out in the back yard when it was under the sink the whole time. Beware these people don't know what they're doing. Got a second opinion and was charged 300.00 with a clean-out put in.

I had granite countertops installed so scheduled a plumber to come out the next day. It was my lucky day b/c Francisco showed up to do the needed work. He installed my new faucet, garbage disposal and dish washer all in a very timely manner and arrived even earlier than the two hour window. The price was agreed upon before he started the work so no surprises when he was finished. He even drained my hot water heater. Very knowledgeable, professional and pleasant....what more could you ask for?

The response was quick. The technician was nice. He did a good job. There was an overcharge, which when we called they fixed it. The technician was informative and did some extras that were helpful. They gave us $33 off for mentioning the add in the yellow pages. The only down side is that it was expensive, but I don't have much experience with plumbing charges, so....

We had an annoying situation, and had to live with all of our water being off. In the morning, we called the Plumbing Medic, and a very polite dispatcher said that they would send someone out in 60-90 minutes. Well, 45 minutes later, Francisco came out. He was dressed in a uniform, put covers on his feet so he wouldn't scratch our floor, was polite and patient, and extremely patient. And most of all, he quickly solved our problem, and then took a look at a few other issues that we had around the house.

If all businesses were run like Plumbing Medic, and all service people were like Francisco, the world would be a better place. I would not hesitate to use them again.

I called for a price to have my sewer line from the house to the street cleaned out and have a camera scope it. Even though they advertise drain cleaning for $64 they could not give me a quote until they come out. Not wasting my time to have them come out and give me an outrageous quote.

Made an appointment to get my gas fireplace repaired and never even got an actual appointment. If you want this service from this company, please expect to have your appointment changed at least 3 times and to receive poor customer service. I called on Wednesday and made an appointment for Thursday. On Thursday they called to say they had another service emergency and had to reschedule to Friday. Fine. Friday came around and Jennifer from dispatch called me 2 times to tell me the tech would not be able to get to me until 3. At 2pm she called again to say the tech would be late and wouldn't be able to make it until 4pm. I waited until 4pm to get no phone call until 515pm to say the tech was on the way. It was a Friday night and we had plans so I said no thanks and that we would find someone else. The creditability of the company was lost at that point and I was not interested to schedule a third/fourth appointment only to be let down. Jennifer said that was fine and she would let the tech know. There was no apology or empathy what so ever! They were probably just happy they didn't have to work late on a Friday. Please do not do business with this company if you would like someone who actually follows through on your first time appointment and maybe actually shows up!

Almost didn't call these folks, even though we've used AAA A/C for many years with good service (AAA merged with the plumbers to become Plumbing & A/C Medic) due to the number of bad reviews on Yelp. First called another recommended outfit who charged me $350 to video and diagnose the sewer line from the kitchen, which was leaking. The quote was pretty exorbitant, so I decided to give these folks a chance for a second quote. They sent out a Field Supervisor (DeVante) to do a *free* video diagnosis. He was very personable and knowledgeable, and clearly showed me where the first outfit missed their diagnosis by a wide country mile. In the end, they sent out Miguel (technician) to hydrowash the line (which was ABS, not corroded cast iron as the first outfit claimed), DeVante re-scoped to find the exact source of the leak, and then Miguel returned to repair the piping (through drywall behind dishwasher instead of ripping out exterior siding - saving $$$). The repair was done quickly, accurately, for a very reasonable price, and we couldn't be happier with both the outcome, the honesty, and professionalism demonstrated. Definitely our go-to plumbers going forward! Miguel and DeVante were top notch!

Had a kitchen drain grease clog and called around, got quoted in the $175 range for a camera/rooting, and could not get anyone to my house in less than 72hours. BUT THEN I was referred to Plumbing Medic for their $64 drain clean special. Was scheduled in less than 36 hours and they had my drain running for $64 out the door no BS. Tim Seaux followed up with a camera inspection for FREE ($150 charge other companies).
Obviously, I was pitched all my repair options which was a little more time consuming than I'd like but then again I am an extremely impatient individual. The free camera inspection and super cost effective drain cleaning makes Plumbing Medic the only option in the east valley. Thanks again Tim.

Awful service. My family has been using them for years and they have never been able to permanently fix our problem. They gave us a quote for a pipe replacement in the range of $4000 which another plumber was able to fix for much less. Even worse, when we tried to make an appointment to see where the problem was with a camera they changed the appointment several times and eventually didn't show up or respond to our calls. Completely unprofessional - I think this company is a scam.

Reading through other bad reviews it sounds like their PR person is more interested in telling customers how they are wrong in their bad experiences than actually improving future experiences - 100% money back guarantee... yeah right.

These guys do not live up to their advertising. I called them and they set an appointment up for the same day for a plumbing inspection. I wanted some new fixtures, some pipes replaced, and probably new hot water heaters. However, I received a call from them about 3 hours later to notify me that they needed to reschedule. This was ok because they set it up for the next day, but then I received a text message that their technician got tied up in Gilbert and they needed to reschedule one more time. Disappointed, but I understood and said ok and they rescheduled after a weekend. I told them specifically that it was important to do it this day because I was leaving for Thanksgiving afterwards. Now today, November 22, 2022, five days later after my first appointment was set up, they informed me that they would not be able to inspect my house period. They said that they just had too many big jobs. Bottom line, they don't have same day service as they advertise and in fact you may get left with nothing as happened to me. They seem to pick and choose clients. What they don't know is that my job they missed out on was likely a $25,000 - $30,000 renovation. I am not out any money but I wasted 5 days of time waiting on these guys. They are not trustworthy!!!

Called on a Monday and asked that 3 items be examined. Was told someone would be there the next day, however, later they reneged on that and informed me someone would be coming Wednesday instead (which might cause you an issue if you have to take off work or something to be there for an appointment).Received a garbled voicemail from the repair technician and having to waste time calling the office to call him to call me was informed the repair would be in excess of $1200. This was a surprise, as the three other estimates I received were in the $500-600 range. Supposing there was an error in their estimate...I asked that it be e-mailed. The e-mailed estimate showed a $680 estimate but a 15% discount (how that backs into $1200+, I'm not certain). Checking the detailed estimate with the photos attached (of all three items asked to be repaired) , I noticed they hadn't even included 2 of the 3 items requested for repair in the written estimate! When called out on this, the phone rep stated she wasn't able to explain why one wasn't provided despite photos of these item being included (so that someone who didn't examine the email in detail might infer that was part of the estimate.) When comparing APPLES to APPLES...their estimate for the single repair was more than double the next highest estimate! Proceed with caution.

The quotes were reasonable. The work took longer than expected due to extra issues but he was still smiling and explained everything very well. I certainly recommend this company.

WOW!!!!! That's the first thing that come to mind watching nick santee work replacing my water heater. The guy knows what he's doing and his customer service was top notch. He should be the definition of hard work and trustworthy. Also how fast he got out to my house and you can tell he was eager to get my water up and running in a timely matter and he does it right the first time around.

I called A/C Medic yesterday morning and they responded immediately, this was my first impressive moment. I scheduled for them to come out between 12-2 and they showed up around 2pm and called to arrange the time. Jose Aguilar came out and he was AWESOME! He was thorough, and did an excellent job finding our problem and fixing it. It took a long time to get everything figured out and he brought in Alex with his camera and they worked until it was all fixed. I have complete faith in their ability to solve whatever plumbing problems you may have and I highly recommend them for anyone who needs fast, accurate and professional work. I live in Sun City and they service my area. Call them if you have any problems!!

We had our sewer lines jetted by another company in January with a guarantee for one year but here we are 2 and a half months later and our problem had returned and it was worse this time. We called Plumbing Medic who sent us Eddie to check out the problem. He found our problem in about 5 minutes. It wasn't the news we wanted to hear but it had to be addressed immediately. We had to have all of our sewer lines under out slab replaced. If the other company had taken a little more time and done a better investigation into our persistent problem it would have been a different outcome.
Plumbing Medic used trenchless technology which was amazing and saved a huge mess throughout our home.
Eddie was so helpful, thoughtful and thorough in getting this project done! We would recommend Plumbing Medic to everyone that is in need of any plumbing issues and if you are fortunate enough to get Eddie to do the job it will get done right.

So I called 1045 am this morning about a plugged kitchen drain etc. Ask if they do same day service. Yes. Then wait and get a call saying you are next up 30 mins later. Well I am not sure what that means to everyone, but it didn't seem like the next day would be next up! Got a call 330 saying, oh we might not be able to make it because other peoples problems were worse. When I called back to say this was not acceptable what I was told that sorry. Next up does not mean next day. If that is the case say it and do not waste my time! Honesty goes a long way.

We were referred to Plumbing Medic through our home warranty plumber. Our toilet was not flushing and we were told we needed a scope. I thought something was suspicious when the gentleman closed the bathroom door while scoping, but I let it pass. He told us we had a corroded pipe and in order to fix it we would need to demo the bathroom to get access to the pipe. We asked if it could be fixed from the backyard and he said no, it wasn't accessible. He then pulls up a youtube video showing us the how they do a trenchless replacement. Then he ballparks the repair to be around $5400 plus whatever else we have to pay to have the bathroom repaired once it was done. When he saw me gasp he goes in to financing options. It felt like a hard sell.

I've learned the hard way not to trust the first opinion, especially that price. We had another plumber come out and scope:

- The pipes are not corroded
- There is a small slippage
- Accessible from the backyard
- For about $500

Basically the exact opposite of what Plumbing Medic told us. I hope others read this review and stay away from this company. Obviously they are only interested in making a buck, even if it means straight out lying and misdiagnosing a small issue.

The water flow of my kitchen sink has been draining slower lately, I called Plumbing Medic to do a simple drain cleaning, a young man, Kevin, showed up and did the usual snake routine, unfortunately the problem remained. After further diagnosis, Kevin explained to me that there was a more serious pipe issue and offered to get his supervisor over for a 2nd opinion. Kevin arranged the 2nd appointment and showed up with Edwin the next day. Edwin ran the sewer camera which confirmed Kevin's diagnosis. In short, it turned out to be a much bigger and expensive project for me to take on at this time...What amazed me was that both Kevin and Edwin spent nearly 2 hours at my house, worked very hard to find the source of the problem, but because they did not fix it on the spot, there was no charge which is the company's 100% satisfaction guarantee!!! What a honorable company! I am giving it a 5 stars because of it. The 5 stars also goes to Kevin and Edwin! I will call upon them again when I am ready to tackle the project.

We had a leak in our water treatment filter canister. I purchased the part, then determined I should use a professional. With the water turned off to the house, we were looking for a plumber that could complete the replacement ASAP last Thursday afternoon. Most plumbers were unavailable, however, Plumbing & A/C Medics was available. He gave me a lump sum quote of $463, and offered no explanation of a breakdown when asked. Feeling vulnerable with no water, I did accept his estimate. The entire job took less than 1 hour. I paid him and he left. The tech was professional, friendly and skilled.
As the next few days went on, I really felt like I was price gouged. I reached out to the company on Monday ( it is now Friday) but my concern fell on deaf ears, as I have not heard from anyone since lodging my complaint. Hence the 2 star rating.
Lesson learned, live without water for awhile and save a few hundred bucks.

The Service Manager has since called me and I have now moved my rating to 5 star gi will definitely consider Medics for future plumbing or A/C service needs.

Right off the bat our tech said we had a problem because we had a dual bathroom sink.
He went on and on about how much it was going to cost and how he just finished a job just like this.
After awhile I said yeah, there's a clean out outside.
Went out. Opened it up. Closed it up. Decided the drains needed replacing. Not enough space for the water to drain.
Ok.
So he goes out to do paperwork and comes back. We paid by check. He said he had to take a photo of the drivers license.
I told him he could write down the necessary info but no picture.
It turned into a big ordeal. He let me talk to his boss but she said she would have no issue with the license thing.
Anyways. I guess if they don't trust you why should you trust them?
His boss removed him from the situation.
Just so ridiculous.
Guess I will just mail them the check.
Hard to find service places that don't push warranties nowadays.

I would give them zero stars if possible. Paid for Repipe Standard 2 Bathroom Home Wirsbo Aquapex for $5,825.94 and two Toto Drake toilets $1,078.52 back in March 2016. Plumbing Medic was a referral from a different plumber that could not respond to the service call that day.

Despite the description Repipe Standard 2 Bathroom Home Wirsbo Aquapex, PLEASE ASK WHAT IS INVOLVED IN THE REPAIRS. Mike the sales manager told me that it depends, not a good answer in my opinion. The aforementioned repipe DOES NOT INCLUDE REPLACING THE PIPES BEHIND THE DRYWALL FOR THE SHOWER AND FAUCETS. The standard repipe I guess is replacing the pipes that run through the attic ONLY AND DOES NOT INCLUDE INSULATING THE EXPOSED PIPES. Without any insulation, the cold water comes out BURNING HOT and takes over 5 minutes to cool down. Lastly, they billed me $275.68 for two handle rebuild Price Pfister faucet. I DID NOT ASK FOR THIS, I COULD BUY A NEW FAUCET FOR LESS!!! Mike did send me a refund check 2-3 weeks later. I hope that this will help someone in the future. I gave them every opportunity to resolve but kept getting the run around and excuses.

I have a two bedroom, two bath condo. I purchased it with two stand in showers and knew eventually I wanted to have a bathtub installed in one. Having a small kiddo - I wanted her to have a tub and not just a shower. I didn't know if it was totally possible, just something I badly wanted. These guys made it happen! I'm completely blown away by the fantastic service and commitment to excellence that this company demonstrated. Mike and Wally went above and beyond the call of duty to make my dream bathroom happen. As a single mom, I sometimes don't always have the time to do all the things around the house that are necessary. Mike noticed my air filter needed to be changed and took care of that as well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I had to take my husband to the ER last night and came home after he was admitted to find my AC was putting out HEAT! The thermostat wouldn't switch back to cool, and it eventually died. It was nearly midnight, so I did a Google search for 24/7 AC repair and found Plumbing & A/C Medic. The live chat agent instructed me to give them a call, and Darryl was at my house in under 90 minutes. He checked all the thermostat connections-- which turned out to be loose from hubby constantly jiggling it-- and installed a new one. The AC came to life again, but then the fan wouldn't shut off! So, in the darkness of the very wee hours of the morning, Darryl took his ladder, climbed on my roof, and checked our unit. It turned out to be an issue with the relay, and in less than half an hour, we were able to get the fan to shut off. And to top it off, the price was MUCH LESS than I had anticipated. Over the years of being a homeowner, I've learned to handle most repairs. I thought flushing out a water heater was simple but because I have a Hot Water Recirculation Pump it confused be enough and I was unable to learn from googling it. I hired Plumbing & A/A Medic to flush out my water heater.
Historically I've always been wary about doing business with plumbers because of the high cost involved & the extra cost they always seem to add on. After making the initial call, Dave Somers (their technician) arrived at my house within 1 hour. Dave was exceptionally professional and performed the work for the same price that was quoted to me upfront. Not only did he do an excellent job, unlike most professionals that won't share information with you, he took time to answer my questions regarding other plumbing questions.
I highly recommend Plumbing & A/A Medic to anyone looking to do business with a reputable and professional company and thanks to Dave Somers. Great Job Dave!!!

Wonderful experience with Plumbing Medic! I had another Plumber out the day before and had a horrible experience. Called Plumbing Medic and Dallen arrived within 30 minutes and fixed in an hour and a half, what the 1st guy couldn't do in 3.5 hours! I learned my lesson, a cheaper plumber is never a good idea. Plumbing Medic was worth the price, you get what you pay for... Professional service, guaranteed and done right!

So so wonderful! Our home has old rusty pipes that definitely need to be replaced. Because of finances we just aren't able to fix them right now. Dealing with one plumbing company after another that have consistently been inconsistent has been such a stressful headache, inconvenience, and more money down the drain than we can count. This is the first time we've used this company and from the very beginning Mike listened, gave great advice, and could really understand what we could and couldn't afford. With the wonderful expertise and hard work he solved or immediate problem with ease. We will definitely be using them again to replace our big bad pipe problem in the future! We would much rather give our money to a person and company that is willing to go the extra mile for us for any size job and not just after the big money. Thanks Mike!

We had our drain lines replaced in our 1950's house and we could not have been happier with the service and value provided by Edwin, Joe and Carlos &the rest of the Plumbing Medic Crew. We got multiple bids from several highly rated plumbing companies since this was going to be a pretty big job and we were most impressed by Plumbing Medic. They were the only company that sent multiple professional technicians to meet us to give us an estimate and the only company that brought their camera to let us look at the drain lines to see what was going on all for free. They had the most detailed, professional bid and most professional technicians (not that we were unhappy with the others) and their bid was $2000.00 less than the next lowest!! The work was completed promptly and very professionally with no surprises and we could not be happier with the whole experience. The job invlolved alot of jackhammering and digging inside our house and could have been messy but Joe and Carlos were very clean and tidy and sealed off the work area completely so that no dust or mess affected us at all. This was as good as it gets. We're so happy! Thank you.

This star is meant to be a negative one: I called them and inquired about their $ 64 to unclog any blocked drain offer which I saw on one of their vans.

The lady who answered the phone confirmed It is $ 64 and that includes a free camera inspection No if..., no as low as $ 64 and no $ 64 under certain conditions.

Actually it turned out to be a bait and switch advertisement. We ended up paying
$ 150 to clear the kitchen sink drain. This drain was not completely blocked, we had already poured some boiling water into the drain and could have probably cleared it completely ourselves. This was not a difficult case, just some grease in the pipe. No problem at the other sinks or toilets. More than twice as much than advertised for a simple drain cleaning job.

Unfortunately, I can't give them Zero stars, cause I'd like to.

I manage rental property. A while back, a tenant called me and said the toilet was backing up into the shower. I have plumbers I use regularly, but the tenant said she'd already called Plumbing Medic because she had a coupon. The coupon was for snaking the sewer line, and inspecting it with a fiber optic camera for a total of $64. I got there right after they finished snaking the line. The line drained well at that point, so I asked if I could just pay them and they could leave. (We were waiting for the tech with the FO camera to get there.) They told me if I DIDN'T let them do the fiber optic camera, they'd have to charge me $300+ for snaking the line. So, I let them put the camera down the line.

Tech #1 is watching the monitor. He puts the camera about 6 feet in, and says: There's the problem.
Me: What's wrong?
#1: The line is starting to collapse. (its only under about 2ft of dirt, so, doubtful)
Tech #2 walks over: Oh, yeah, that's bad.
Tech #1: Hey, (#2), is that..........oh, crap, what do you call it? orange..........orange something?
Tech #2: Oh! Orangeburg?? wow!! that's really bad!
Me: What's orangeburg?
Tech #1: its basically a petroleum impregnated paper tube. It was really popular in the 50's because it was so cheap. When was this house built?
Me: Mid 50's.
Tech #2: Wow, we're going to have to replace the entire line!
Me: How much are we talking?
Tech #2: Well, you're looking at at least 30ft of digging, plus replacement..............probably about $1800, at least.
Tech #1: I can write up the agreement and we can get started tomorrow.
Me: I'll need to get a couple quotes before I can authorize that much expense. Can you write it up and email it to me?
Tech #1: Sure thing.

They never emailed me anything.

My regular plumber went out later that day, and put his fiber optic camera in the exact same line. Here's that phone conversation:

Me: Hi Eric, so, what's wrong with that line?
Eric: Nothing.
Me: Isn't it collapsing? They said it was Orangeburg, and it was collapsing.
Eric: No..........its PVC pipe, and nothing is collapsed. There's nothing wrong with this line.
Me: Are you sure?
Eric: Would you like me to email you some of these images?
Me: No, not necessary. Could they have mistaken that PVC for Orangeburg?
Eric: I don't see how.

That was 8 months ago. There have been no further problems with the sewer line.

My husband and I are extremely displeased with this company. A little over 6 months ago we were shopping around for a plumbing company to plumb our house for soft water. The rep from Plumbing Medic (who has since been fired) convinced us to not buy a water softener but to just buy a home filter. He said after a couple of months we would not only notice the mineral deposits disappear but that internally the filter would be cleaning and preventing any mineral buildup. After 6 months with no change and after talking to a few friends we realized that the system they sold us was not working for our needs.

We called the company, learned the rep had been fired, and that someone else would come out to help us. The new rep tried to tell us that the system was working perfectly and didn't see why we had a problem. He said all the mineral buildup in our plumbing was from before the system was in place. Our house is a new build so that's pretty much impossible. After being absolutely no help, my husband insisted on being put into contact with a manager. The manager called a few days later and pretty much said what do you want me to do? But not in a helpful way, more in a like I don't see the problem way. The manager didn't show up to the appointment we set and when we tried to call the office we were told he was in North Phoenix and would not be able to come out until later that evening. So much for setting an appointment!

When he finally came out a week and a half later he said they could remove the system and refund us and then the bid they gave us for a softener was CRAZY high. We called other plumbing companies and were told the job could be done for about a quarter of the price plumbing medic had given us. Then when we called to say to remove the system but we're going with another company the manager told us he could not give us a full refund because of the work they did initially. We had to negotiate to get more money back, but they refused to give us a full refund. We were told on the day of removal the company would write us a check. Before the plumber got to our house their office called and said that they would credit our credit card. A half hour later the office called again and said they could not credit our card and would be mailing a check instead. My husband had to fight to get them to personally deliver a check that ended up not being the amount we were expecting. (About 15 dollars less than what we should have received). This company is SUPER unprofessional, has not put us as the consumer first, and has tried to rip us off countless times. We will never use them again.

If you care about your house even one bit DO NOT HIRE THEM. They are very shady and unprofessional and we will not be calling them again and will be actively telling people to look for a different and better ac/plumbing company

Our technician, Joe, was called out to replace a fan in our bathroom. After 4.5 hours to install the fan we see him move his stuff out of the house. We then proceeded to go look at the work he did for ourselves and what did we find? A large hole in the ceiling next to the fan, he had not mentioned that he was going to cut the hole he also did not intend to fix the hole.

He wasn't even going to mention the hole he had left until we had discovered it and asked him about it and his solution was what you see in the picture cardboard and tape, and also leaving us to pay another company to patch the hole in out 12ft ceilings. A call to his manager made it so that he was to patch the hole himself another 1hr+. So 5-6 hours for a single fan replacement and we had to sit around and check on his work.

Set aside two entire days of work to get this tankless water heater de-scaled and am pretty upset about all the income I've lost waiting around for these guys. Actual technician was good. Was not offered anything for my trouble other than to re-schedule. What a rollercoaster ride. Not recommended.

Ok, sourced this company on Craigslist on 6/6. Interaction to schedule an appt was very good. Booked the 8am - 10am timeslot for 6/7. Tech showed up and accessed kitchen drain from recessed clean out in block wall. I have lived in the home for 20 years and have had to call to have the drain cleaned out 4 times. This is #4. Every prior time the guys use the vent pipe on roof. House is 50 yrs old.

This time he takes the cap off. Snakes it. Sends me still pics of the sludge they got out (wow, shocking) then tells me he would have different tech come out and run camera down it.

Cam man shows up at 530pm. I ask him how he will get the cap back on since the first Tech said its all rusted. He said they can put a plug in. I asked why they didnt just not disturb stuff on an old house and go in from roof. 'Well, this is the access point'.

I mention I have read the reviews on YELP (epiphany happened much too late) and I think their biz model is to make the customer go thru this process and then give the customer a crazy quote for repairs. He said its not. Ok, cool. So then I mention how he opened an old cast iron cap that he didnt need to and now I get a $5 plastic plug in its place? He said it wouldn't leak. Ok 'so you will give me a warrranty to that effect? Well, yes...for the part. Really? The $5 part? Then I offer the deal of the century...I will go double or nothing on the $64 charge. 'You put the cam down the line and if you don't find some additional required repair I will pay $130. Yeah, umm he declined so I tell him I don't want any cam action, just make me whole again. Oh...wait, you can't because now I will have a $5 plastic and rubber butterfly plug in the cleanout.

Wait it gets better.....wait for it....I have to get the part. 'Ok, lets make sure I have this right... Tech came this AM took the cap off. Determined it was rusted and wouldn't go on. Now I waited for 45 min for cam man to drive across town and he couldn't pick up the part?' Response was..well sometimes we can get it back on. Really? A customer goes through all this for a potential $5 expense save for them?

Ok, they return from home depot and install the plug. Drain is clear. I pay $64.

Note to self:
Save the random independent guys phone number that I found on CL four years ago, pay $100 and live happily everafter.

I would rate zero stars if I was allowed. I had a clogged toilet and had a coupon to use Plumbing Medic to unclog any clog for $65.00. First technician was two hours late for the job. Without hesitation, took the toilet off and tried to snake it. Immediately said that this was a big problem and needed to get his supervisor out with a camera for a better inspection. After sending the camera down the sewer line they were convinced it was roots in the line, which they believed were located under my son's closet. Within 5 minutes I had a typed, emailed estimate for $3280.00 to jackhammer, dig, cut out, replace main sewer line, etc, and they could start working immediately. I asked if there were any other ways to go about this and was told no, we see this all the time, we know what we are doing, our work is guaranteed, etc.
Got another opinion and they came out and went through our clean out in the front of our house, something Plumbing Medic did not even think of doing. They found a clog, which was a plumbers snake tool in the line and they were able to fish it out and removed some other debris that had built up in the line. There were no evidence whatsoever of roots in the line. They charged me $500.00 and now everything works perfectly.
I'm really just angry that they wouldn't consider any other alternatives to our problem, and went straight to the big job. Proceed with caution.

We recently had to have our sewer line replaced and hired Plumbing and AC Medic to complete the job. Our technician was great, this company's mangament however needs some serious work! What was supposed to be a 2-3 day job turned into a nearly 3 week job that ended with a sink hole in our front yard that they won't fix! The manager repeatedly called our technicians off of our job to work on other/bigger jobs which dragged our job out 10 times what it should have been. Meanwhile, we couldn't use our showers, toilets, dishwasher or washing machine for nearly 3 weeks!!! Imagine having a nonfunctioning home for that long, with an infant in the house!! This ordeal cost us over $7000, if I'm paying you that amount of money you better have your guys out here busting their butts to get it done asap not pulling them off to other jobs! Allowing your poor management skills to negatively impact your customers lives is just bad business!! The only reason I'm giving them even 1 star is because our technician was awesome and really did his best to do what he could to make sure our job was completed despite the horrendous management above him.

Absolutely fantastic service!! Been putting off replacing my 2 furnaces and 2 A.C. units for several years but finally did it and couldn't be happier with the energy efficient A.C. units and gas furnaces that they installed in my house!! The technicians busted their ass for 2 days straight to install 2 A.C. units and 2 new gas furnaces and came back on the 3rd day just to make sure I was happy and everything was working good!! Will be using this company going forward for all my HVAC and Plumbing issues!! Thanks again!!

Mike and is team went above and beyond for me. During covid I was going through a divorce and the last thing I needed was this major plumbing issue I had. The team made it so easy to work through. I had a plumbing issue that required all the old cast iron pipes to be replaced under my house. It was disruptive but these guys have a machine that made the job much less invasive and were sure to update me through the process. I owe them my peace of mind now that all the plumbing is sorted out. I love these guys!!

I had a tech out for a quote today, he was unprofessional, made me uncomfortable w/his hard sale on replacing things I didn't need, valves on all my sinks & washer & water purification system & soft water system.

He was very shady, told me they are not an inexpensive company ..
His quote was exorbitant, 3X's higher then my other quotes fir the same job.

Do not use this company, he was upset I was getting other quotes.. because he knew his quote was insanely high.

Do yourself a favor & save yourself a lot of money ; and find an honest, reputable, reasonably priced plumbing Company.

This company came out and looked at my hot water heater that wasn't working. They quoted a price of $557 to replace a gas valve and also a gasket for the cover at the lower portion of a hot water heater. I told them thanks but the price sounded high and called another contractor. It turned out that this was an incorrect diagnosis. It was an internal part of the heater that had failed. So if I had agreed to pay their fee, it wouldn't even have fixed the issue. The tech was a nice guy, which is why the two stars.

We have a two story church building and had our first need for a plumber. A parent had flushed a diaper down the toilet and it backed up something fierce. Being close to 4:00 I relegated myself to waiting some time for help. I found Plumbing & A/C Media in the Christian Resource Guide and gave them a call. Their $64 flat price sounded good. The initial contact was very friendly and took all my information. I was then told to expect a call withing 20 minutes from dispatch. In 10 minutes the call came in and another very friendly gal said all their techs were on all day jobs and it would be between 5 & 7.

She called me back in about 10 minutes saying a tech just finished and would be here in 5 minutes. A quick assessment of the situation and Mike had the toilet unplugged and even mopped up some of the messy water.

They were in and out in less than 30 minutes! I would highly recommend them, however all situations are different, but the friendly and professional service couldn't be beat.

Okay, I would like to update the review I did yesterday. All the details I wrote yesterday were true and as accurate as I remember. The original plumber that came out was Jeff and the 2nd visit 3 days later by a supervisor was Edwin and another tech (I believe In Training).

Today I received a call from Mike Roberts, the Operations Manager, regarding my experience with Plumbing & A/C Medic. We talked about my experience. He had the opportunity to verify the things in my review were as accurate as I remember and filled in the details like the names of a couple of the people I dealt with, pulled the calls between their company and I.

Everything checked out with what I said as well as what I was understanding and it was identified with the calls, the people that came out to my home that a number of things were handled or communicated incorrectly by a number of individuals from the Answering Service people to the plumber to the supervisor.

Mike apologized profusely on the phone and said they want their customers to walk away satisfied and that the company does have integrity, and very sorry that a number of things made my experience not good with a different impression.

The supervisor that came for the 2nd time to unclog the toilet the 2nd time said I needed a new toilet and should have informed me the $139 I paid to have the toilets unclogged would be applied if I bought a new toilet, which I did later that day through Lowe's and had them install. Had I known that, I would not have had Lowe's install but I did.

Since that supervisor, Edwin, didn't inform me of that, Mike said he would refund the $139, which he did. He personally came to my home to deliver the check and was here at the agreed time of 11:15 am, exactly on time.

Maybe writing such in-depth reviews, some companies do appreciate it as they can find areas of improvement or things they are already doing well. I really appreciated Mike coming out in-person to bring closure to this experience.

Something I would like to add, the $64 or whatever that is to unclog ANY DRAIN is for the outside of the house and that would typically be in the ground. He did further explained as did Jeff and Edwin this, but for some reason I can't remember the details. That's what the asterisk is. I asked why they don't spell it out on their website and Mike said sometimes it causes confusion as to where that clog is (sometimes people think it's on top of the house and it is not).

The people answering the phones should know this and that to unclog a toilet with a toilet auger is $139 and if it's more, it's around $160-something (I think $99 + the $64 or something like that).

Just as I've given other companies where I've had a problem right the wrong, Plumbing & A/C Medic have righted this wrong. I informed Mike that I would still leave the other review up, but hopefully this updated review will clarify why I'm changing my rating.

Yes, no company is without its flaws and I hope this gives this company opportunities to provide better training to their personnel.

We also discussed really listening to the customers' needs and making them feel valued. There may be some unreasonable customers whom you can never satisfy, but I think the majority of people are not that way. Most are reasonable.

Mike also helped me as I shared some other water issue I was having in a different area of our backyard some good suggestions we will implement in the near future.

Thank you, Mike, for doing right on this. I will put your company as one of the plumbing companies on my list should I need plumbing or A/C services.

The reason for the 4 stars is for the things that need improvement.

I requested a diagnosis. At the time, I had some cold air blowing it just wasn't keeping up. I was told I just needed refrigerant. The technician left because I decided to shop around. Hours later, zero cold air was coming out of my vents, but my intake had cold air blowing out!! I hope he did not break something!!

Talk about lifesavers! Abdiel, Mike, Edwin and the rest of their team treated us like we were their own family throughout our process. They did an excellent job of explaining what was going on, giving us options and being available with open communication throughout the entire process. What was set up to be an extremely stressful time having to redo all our plumbing was made a lot more comfortable with the help of their team. They helped guide us through the process of speaking with and filing a claim with our homeowners insurance. Called Plumbing Medic on a Sunday morning. They said technician would get back to me.
He did so promptly and came out to stop water leakage and start drainage by hose prior to getting new water heater. Returned later in day with water heater and installed it, also adding a water retainer pan and drainage pipes so it wouldn't ever flood my home again. (This was the 2nd time it happened in 10 years and another company had installed water heater the first time.) Michael, the technician did an excellent job and I highly recommend this company. They had come out once before to repair a water leakage issue connected to my washing machine. Did an excellent job that time, too, and have had no further issues with the washer leaking.

Never Again! My wife and I had used this company before and had no complaints regarding their professionalism. Today we met Tim Seaux who right from the beginning was difficult, had an attitude and was judgmental. For some background info we had our sewer drain unclog during emergencies hours and they did not have someone with a camera available. We then had to schedule an appointment during the day and just run the camera down the pipe and provide a report of what was seen. Tim shows up at my door, mask not on his face just on his chin and rudely asking why we didn't have a camera diagnostic performed before. At this point my wife came out to deal with him since I was working from home. He then continues to judge the work we had performed prior in the front yard by another company. He then gets upset that he had to step in MUD to get to the drain out! He was snarky, rude, sarcastic and overall not helpful. Tim was not able to properly diagnose and most importantly explain. After he continued to be rude, condescending and mansplaining, my wife asked him to leave and just give us the report. We speak to the front desk who says they will contact the manager and also send someone else to come complete the job. However, that tech never came instead we received a call from who we think was the manager but never introduced themselves. This manager just wanted to explain the job instead of addressing the main concern which was his employee mistreating us, being unprofessional and not knowing how to conduct himself in front of customers. The manager did not provide any solutions and was not helpful. Ultimately the integrity, values and customer service are a reflection of the company overall. I do not recommend Plumbing & A/C Medic especially for your wives, daughters and family members part of the LGTBQ+ community.

My sincere thank you to Plumbing Medic!!! I called them after trying to replace a broken toilet shut off valve myself which was unsuccessful and led to fear my attempts to remove the stuck broken valve may have damaged pipe inside the wall. Plumbing Medic was the only company able to accommodate my same day late afternoon request to check for damage. My tech was Francisco and he did an outstanding job. He arrived within 30 minutes and replaced the broken shut off valve, than checked behind the wall and showed me the pipe had no damage or leaks. He than checked my hot water tank and water mineral content at no additional charge. He was extremely professional, efficient, kind, knowledgeable and considerate of my home. The amount I was charged was extremely fair and less than I anticipated. My experience with Plumbing Medic and Francisco was that of extraordinary integrity and much appreciated expertise. Jose A. made replacing our old water heater as quick and easy as could be. He also checked our water softener after I mentioned an odd noise & found a failing valve outside. He confirmed that the water softener was working & was able to fix the problem by just swapping out the valve (thankful for that fix!). I was able to apply a coupon to save some $$. Reliable company & Jose was great to work with! He also mentioned how to maintain the water heater - I had no idea I was supposed to open the top valve yearly as well as draining the unit! My family and I have used Plumbing Medic many times for various repairs and AC/Heater check ups. Every person that I have talked to on the phone and every one that has come out to our home has been very professional, kind, quick and efficient! Most importantly, to me, is that they will talk to my 90 year old Grandmother and make her feel comfortable with them being in her home. Recently we have had Sam come out a few times and he is great. He gets the job done quickly and correctly, he is honest and pleasant to be around. I highly recommend this company!

ETA: We used this company again for some very extensive plumbing work and we were very pleased with the work. The whole team was great, but Kevin really went above and beyond for my family. He was wonderful to work with, excellent communication, it felt like having a family friend was there helping us out. I had both a air conditioning and water heater replaced. They responded quickly and got the job because others were slow to respond or too busy. They are very nice people. The cost of the products and labor were very high. I looked up the exact air conditioner and water heater then looked at the average install costs. They were not on the high end but the very, very high end. They take extra care to be polite and helpful but it will cost.

Our garbage disposal was cracked so they needed to replace it, they gave us two replacement options which was nice.

A/C Medic is by far the best plumbing company I have ever dealt with the the Valley.. They are polite, reliable and do an excellent job.. Unlike many companies in the Valley they do the repair you requested and don't try to coax you into more repairs and spending more money.. To me this company is a winner. Also I have never had a plumber arrive as clean cut and professional as their tech. Will recommend A/C to all my friends and will always use them as my plumber.

Had a broken water shutoff ball valve to the house (closed position). Called plumbing Medic at 2 PM. Very professional all the way! From the first hello from Donna to the time Kevin finished the job. It took Kevin about an hour to arrive and another hour to complete the job!
His workmanship was outstanding (artwork it was that nice). Their entire team friendly and courteous. NO PLUMBERS CRACK HERE!

Avoid this business and find someone more knowledgeable and trust worthy! I had toilets getting clogged at our rental place and asked these guys to come over to check it. They claimed after inspection that the line had roots clogging it from a large tree on the property and main sewer line is damaged. they gave me a pretty hefty quote for almost $15k to replace the entire line. I authorized the work and few months later, same problem again with toilets getting clogged. Asked these guys to come back and check it. They claimed that the issue is in the bathroom lines with roots and need to be repaired for additional quote for several thousand dollars. I asked them why they did not check it during the first time, and they made all sorts of excuses. Did not admit that they have done half baked job, never even went inside the bathroom and only fixed the main line. Still charging me so much money and not even offering to finish the job they should have taken care of to being with.

I had a main toilet backing up too often, so I called them on their clear any drain for like $69 or some too low price. Long story short they charged me to run a camera down the drain...there's about 6' of 62 yr old
cast iron pipe needs replacing. $4600+ later, AND a new toilet, it works ok for 2 days and starts to back up again. I call, they send the original guy out with an attitude and his camera. Doesn't show me a picture or a pill bottle he says he spotted. I assume hes removed the offending bottle. 2 days later its still flooding so me being a loyal abuse-loving? customer that I am...I called them back and asked them to send a different plumber if possible. They DID. A really nice young man. He too had his camera and ran it down the drain and proceeded to show me a pill bottle cap i asked how far it appeared to be down the drain and how do we get it out. He asked me if I had any stiff wire and i showed him what I had on hand and told me to bend the end into a small hook and get it that way. He was OUTSIDE at the cleanout with the camera on. I went inside to the bathroom where I had already removed the toilet and asked him to let me know when I got close to it. I never heard anything. I went outside and hey told me it wasn't long enuff. I then asked him If a strong shopvac would do the job as I have one. He replied that it was a good idea. So I brought it into the bathroom and ran it down the drain almost 8' with no success. I went back outside to ask him how close or far was the vacuum...To find HIM GONE in 4 minutes I assumed he was watching thru the camera. WRONG WRONG WRONG...he was GONE GONE GONE. NO GOODBYE kiss, no clear drain either yet.. stay away ,,,,these people are worthless and have NO CLUE what customer satisfaction even means...in English OR Spanish. This is in Phoenix, Az. part 2... I posted this review and within 35 mins I recvd a call from Mike R. at Plumbing ac medics...very polite, professional, and apologizing with the promise to fix the problem no charge this Monday next...will let you all know how the story ends....well they showed up on Monday as agreed. it took about 30 mins to get the pill bottle cap to flow off into the sewer line and leave me alone. toilet is currently working as it should . I've been satisfied,

I called them out on a Sunday morning about 11AM and was eventually given a time toward the end of the day to clear a clogged sewer line. Around 5PM I was told they would make it out Mon. AM. After working on it for a while Monday mid-day , I was told they would have to jet the line at a cost of $1,000+. The bottom line, they got it flowing, told me I had to replace the sewer line for $24,000 and then lowered the price to $12,000. I dug up the problem area and found a massive root in the line and replaced a section plus added two clean outs myself for a total material cost plus laborer of less than $500. Plumbing & A/C medic? M.D.'s don't charge as much as they do. Beware!

Had an emergency during one of the worst times of the year for it: 4th of July weekend. My shower wouldn't turn off and I had to shut off the water to the house. Not very good in hot Phoenix. So I called a few plumbers who advertised 24/7 emergency service. No one could come out same day. Finally got Plumbing Medic. I was told I could probably have a plumber come out within an hour. I said, Let's do it and all my info was taken. I was told there would be a $99 emergency service fee.

Kevin came out in about 40 minutes. He thought I'd need a whole new cartridge, which would have been over $400. But when he opened things up, he found it was just a busted plastic faucet cover, which is a $13 part. He didn't have any on hand, but told me I could pick one up at Home Depot. And he closed the shower faucet so I could turn on the house water.

Total cost was $99. I appreciated the quick response and honesty. Definitely would recommend.

On Saturday night we had installed two toilets in our house ourselves. As a result, both toilets leaked (from the floor) and would not seat correctly so we called plumbing and ac medic. On the phone we were told that there was a service charge of $39 and a $100 emergency service fee for coming on Saturday. After 5 hours, Jared showed up and fixed the issue. It took Jared 25 minutes to install a new wax ring and tighten a supply line. For the repair plumbing and ac medic charged us almost $600. In my opinion, this is an INCREDIBLY inflated price and I am very dissatisfied. I suspect predatory intentions, because before Jared gave me the quote he asked how much were you guys expecting to spend on this job

Jose Martinez, the tech who arrived at my home was right on time, professional and knowledgeable from the start.

I was Service Manager for a large company here in Phoenix for several years, so I am very critical of any service work done in my home. I hard originally called another plumbing company here in town to get additional quotes after having RR unclog and band aid our sewer problem. After explaining what I believed to be the scope of work, this other company recommended Plumbing Medic. He said they would were better equipped to handle the job I needed done.
Tim, Carlos, Nick and every employee I had contact with was fantastic! The sewer line from inside our home to the junction of the Cities sewer pipe was made of Orangeburg (basically treated compressed wood pulp used 50 years ago when my house was built) which had completely worn through on the bottom spilling sewage into the ground and washing away soil causing voids to form and further damaging the line. The metal piping under the house from the toilets and drains to the junction with the Orangeburg had also warn through.
I got quotes from a few other companies, all of the quotes proposed the same repair and comparable in price. Tim Seaux was the technician from Plumbing Medic that did the inspection, gave me the quote and oversaw the repair. Tim was the reason I choose to use Plumbing Medic over the other companies. Tim genuinely spoke of the company with love and his fellow employees more as family than coworkers. He spoke of his job with passion and never dreading having to go to work. Plumbing can be a dirty and nasty job to do, so any company that earns that kind of loyalty from an employees is a company that I want working on and in my house.
The guys spent three days replacing all the piping under our home but never left us without a usable bathroom for more than a few hours at a time.
They made one hole outside at the edge of our yard. One inside through the concrete floor and one hole in the floor of the master bathroom shower where all the pipes came together.
I was pleased with their job site cleanliness! They wore plastic booties in the home. They used plastic dust barriers and plastic floor covering to keep the mess from the jackhammering to a minimum and kept our floors protected. After they were done and cleaned up, you couldn't even tell that they had been in our home.
Do yourself a favor and make Plumbing Medic your first call! This company and their employees are first class. My only complaint about the Plumbing Medic is that they do not do roofing! If the same owners ever start a roofing company or any other home service company I will make sure to use them too! Thank you Tim, Carlos and Nick!!

I went to Home Depot and found the parts that I needed for $15 and did the repair myself. I had him quote me on 2 other valves to be replaced and the total bill was over $900, oh brother.

We just moved to the area and were having some trouble with the AC at one end of the house. The MBR just did not seem to be getting enough airflow or cool air whereas the downstairs area was too cold. I was initially impressed at the time Trevor spent checking things out and that he also called in another person to consult when he was not sure of some things. They told us that the duct system had not been designed properly for the airflow needed and should be completely redone and they made some adjustments in the contacts, cleaned ducts, etc.
Since they left, we get NO cooling in the MBR. And a huge sheet of ice developed on the compressor. In other words, the problem is MUCH worse now.
And today we received a bill for $3500 !!!! ( Evidently, all the hours spent and the calling in of the more senior person added more charges?)

The handyman who has worked for years on this house happened came over after all this to introduce himself and found the ice sheet. He said there has never been a problem with the ducting system and he asked why the some parts were left disassembled by Plumbing Medic. Good question!

We now have no cooling at all in the bedroom AND a bill for much more than we agreed to for the work.

Plumbing issues at 5am are probably one of the worst things I've woken up to and I am so glad that Plumbing Medic was able to come by a few hours later to check out our issues, give a quote and actually complete the work same day. Eddie was our technician and he was so professional and nice. I didn't feel pressured into purchasing any unnecessary products or services he even reset my water pressure which was set way too high. Very good. They cold-called me to let me know that they now do A/C and offered a free look at my AC System. I own a restaurant that has 4 A/C units and 3 swamp coolers so I was not about to turn up a free look. Sam came to my restaurant at the appointed time and spent about four hours looking through all my systems. One had a thermostat with bad wiring that he fixed on the spot for free. After doing a thorough review of going up and down the roof, he sat down with me and showed me pictures and described what was wrong and what could potentially go wrong with each of the systems. He then gave me pricing for various options from a 'band-aid' all the way up to replacing the aging systems with brand new equipment. Although the pricing he gave did seem a bit on the high side, I could tell by talking to him that any work that he might perform would be done absolutely professionally and that I could count on it to be a quality fix.

So our valves were leaking above our washing machine and we needed to get them replaced. Before we had remembered we had a home warranty we called Plumbing Medic to come fix them so we could use our new washer and dryer. The guy came out same day and looks at the valves for about a minute before explaining to us what needed to be done. He wanted to cut a hole in our wall under the valves to replace the entire pipe and then the valves on top, and he wanted to charge us $500 to do it. I may be a first time home owner but I know when I am being screwed over, because the minute that I basically said no and that we wont be having this guy fix it, he started dropping his price, eventually all the way down to $300. The last thing he said was well how much were you expecting to pay? I didn't have a number in mind but I know when I am being jerked around. If you can't give me your lowest and best price first, don't bother giving me one at all. After he left, we remembered our home warranty and called them. It ended up not being covered by them either, but they did the job for $187.50. And there was no BS about starting high and eventually getting to that price. He straight out charged us a fair price for the work that needed to be done. I just regret calling these guys and having to pay them a service fee for just having someone come out to screw with us.

The service technician was a friendly, and seemingly knowledgeable young man. What annoyed me terribly was the way he withheld information and presented his pricing in a way that benefitted the company more than the customer. The first example of the bait and switch is that the advertised guarantee to unclog your drain for a flat $64, only applies if it can be accomplished from the exterior of the house with the bare snake and no chemicals. Automatically, your price goes up an additional $99 - reportedly because the equipment has to be brought inside the house. After snaking for a while, he announces that he was unable to remove the clog. Then he announced 2 additional options ranging between $290 and $490. We selected the $290 option in which the technician would pour two bottles of his unclogging chemical down the drain. While pouring the first bottle, he casually says, after this first bottle that I am pouring, you will put two ounces a month from the second bottle for maintenance. That's the first time he was saying that this was how it worked. I was furious at this deceitful way of communicating the process. It was a sneaky way of selling my mother a second bottle of $64 chemical since he knew all along that he would only be pouring one. Had it been my house, I would have sent him packing and hired someone else to do the very same thing. It is the right of the customer to have all the disclosures, options and details UP FRONT to make informed decisions. Baiting is a deceptive practice that will eventually bite this company in the butt.

You know you've selected a great plumbing company when the neighbor's plumber comes down the street to talk to my installers about applying for a job!!! AND they were referred to me by another plumbing company that only served the West Valley, I live in Chandler.

Two months ago, I'd noticed a recent musty odor coming from the bathroom faucets. After a trip to Home Depot to replace faucet filters it still didn't eliminate the odor. Josh came out for a service call. After explaining what the cause was and checking all the faucets in the house, I realized the existing soft water system and filter wasn't doing the job anymore. I'd been paying $40.00 a month for 13 years!!!! I have more than paid for 2 new systems!!!

While Josh was here he also screwed down an open cap on my hot water heater, left open by the installer. Nice!

I decided to purchase the carbon filtration system. Josh returned on the install date (on crutches with a torn ACL) with Kyler to assist. They were on time! They were personable yet professional & done in 2 hours. They spend a lot of time demonstrating the LED panel & making sure I knew how to program the new unit, check it's cycling status, etc. They neatly removed the old system and pipes.

These guys get it! They are FOCUSED on customer service and know that if they treat you right, pay attention to the little details that it earns loyalty. They are reasonably priced and more than competitive. I am a customer for LIFE!

I called Plumbing Medic when my kitchen sink starting draining slowly thinking that I just needed the line snaked. Alex arrived promptly and diagnosed the problem as a clogged sink drain arm. The repair required cutting into the exterior block wall of my home to remove and replace the drain pipe. When the pipe was removed, Alex showed it to me and it was almost totally full of crud. He replaced the old corroded 1 1/2 cast iron pipe with a new 2 line. The sink drains so fast it makes sucking noises now! Alex also did such a great repair job on the exterior block wall that I can't tell that it was cut in to.

This is the second job Plumbing Medic has done for me on my old house. Two years ago, I had 2 tub/shower valves replaced and the work was done very professionally and at a very competitive price.

I have used other plumbers over the years, but none have provided the fast, efficient, professional, friendly, service that Plumbing Medic does. They even put booties over their shoes before they enter your home to protect your floors!

Don't even try it! Guy came out and ran my main line (lateral) from the house to the sanitary sewer. Told me 30 day guarantee and satisfaction guaranteed. Clogged again! Called them back hey it's clogged again. They blew me off for 3 days (same day service guaranteed according to the website. Told me they are going to charge me AGAIN. All they do is run a hand-rodder or cable and poke a hole in it so they can come back and put the screws to you a week later. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THIS COMPANY AND I WILL GO OUT OF MY WAY TO TELL OTHERS THE SAME. The lazy boy they sent to do a mans job never even attempted to camera the line like they say they do as a courtesy. Oh now here is the kicker....we are in Gilbert, Arizona not California where they show it posted. Ugh...really?

Rigo S. was the person that actually installed my new hot water heater. He did an awesome job replacing all of the pipes that were corroded and a mess. He was very caring and friendly and went to work immediately on my problems.
Mike R. responded to my calls also right away and spent a lot of time reassuring me the job would be done right. He was also a very nice person and VERY knowledgeable. I actually learned a lot from him through this experience and his explanations. I had some other areas of concern and they were all addressed and taken care of.
I would highly recommend this company for all your plumbing and air conditioner needs. Great work, great employees...very hard to find.

i truly recommend this company Henri and Abdel sat down with me drew a diagram on what was going on with main pipe overflowing outside in the overflow, but they fixed it I was so happy before that i was feeling overwhelmed my bathroom and the kitchen and the laundry room with the washer were all backing up i will for sure call them for any problems i have with my plumbing plus Henri showed me how to turn off the water heater and the main water line, they also replace water heaters and do yearly Maintenace if you have plumbing problems be sure and call Plumbing & A/C Medic thank you Lidia

We had a problem with our air conditioning unit and called Plumbing & A/C Medic as we have used this company several times in the past for plumbing issues. Within a few minutes of our call, a dispatcher notified us that a technician (Joe) was on the way. He diagnosed the problem, explained the options, cost, and alternatives and then quickly resolved the problem. We were very pleased with the responsiveness and Joe's service. We will use Plumbing & A/C Medic again and highly recommend them.

The only reason I am giving one star is because I was glad that I was given an appointment not only next day but on a Saturday.

I was told that somebody would be at my house between 2pm-4pm, it is now 952pm, my shower is still backed up.

Plumbing Medic, great advertisements on your truck but your lack of follow through just lost you a customer and got you a horrible review!

Edit/Update: Much to my surprise we received a response to our review. The technician called and the company offered to put us up in a hotel. When we declined because of our dogs the tech took it upon himself to come back out at 9pm and resolved the issue. They were very apologetic and we're grateful to have it remedied and not have to spend the night in a hot house.

The entire experience from the very start was awful. There was a run around even trying to schedule an appointment for a simple AC servicing on a perfectly operating unit. They could not give a scheduled date/time and just kept calling back repeatedly saying they would let us know when a technician was available. Once the technician finally showed up it was 30 mins of banging up on the roof. He made a comment about how if it doesn't cool it may need more refrigerant. Firstly, why wouldn't it cool if it was cooling just fine an hour ago? Secondly, why didn't you check to see if it was low during your service? Nonetheless he left and sure enough our perfectly functioning AC unit is no longer blowing cold air after a routine maintenance. It took multiple phone calls and waiting on hold to get through to their 24 hour answering service. The answering service was zero help and could only say someone would contact us tomorrow. So now we are without cooling in 100°+ temperatures due to the all around incompetence of Plumbing and AC Medic.

We called Plumbing Medic to provide with an estimate for removing clogs, fixing a few stoppers, and scoping our sewer. We made an appointment about 2 days in advance and were quoted a price. The day of the estimate, my husband took off of work and came home early for the 2 pm appointment. By the time it was almost 3 pm we had no heard anything and no one had come to our home so we called them and found out that he was running late. He did not get to our home until after 6 pm. We had him scope the sewer and the price was higher than I had been quoted on the phone (including a discount for a referral). He was also going to e-mail us a quote, which never happened. I called back to request our estimate and ask about the price and was told that Frank would call me back. I never heard from him. Overall I would not contact them again.

We just had Plumbing Medic come out to our home an hour ago and I immediately want to write a review...that's how good they are. Jesse was our technician and wow, talk about honest and professional. My husband installed new shower valves on all our showers and two were leaking...our drywall guy is scheduled to come out tomorrow so we needed he problem fixed fast. Jesse came out within 45 min and assessed the problem. Normally it would cost $300 per shower to install it from the beginning, however Jesse was honest and pointed out the exact problem at each shower and worked off of what my husband had already done. He also examined another shower that wasn't leaking but found an issue that could cause a problem in a few months. He fixed that as well and only charged us $95 for all three showers. If we have any plumbing issues in the future we will be calling Plumbing Medic and specifically requesting Jesse as the tech. Phenomenal service.

PLEASE Research your issue before using this company. Read the one star reviews, and get several quotes. Expect to be told you need unnecessary replacement/repairs for 3-4 times the going rate.

We hired them because we had a simple clogged toilet and they advertise $69 to unclog any drain. They came out but didn't work on the clogged toilet, they went straight outside to the main drain and said that for free they were going to put a camera through our pipes to see what was causing the problem, I started feeling leery and thought....I bet they suddenly find something else wrong. I was right. 10 min later said ok we looked in your drains and there is some kind of blockage but we don't know what it is.........but we can fix it for $3500.00 WHAT???. The $69 deal is to just get you out and then bait and switch. They worked on it for only 15 min total, didn't look at our toilet and had determined it was a $3500 job? are you kidding me. I sent them packing after paying the dumb $69 with no cleared clog and then cleared the toilet by myself with a neighbors snake and we've never had a problem since. I was soooo mad!!!

Well on the fourth visit, my kitchen faucet is up and working again. I've never been told to buy a new faucet is for a little bitty leak. I paid $157.00 and over $200.00 for a new faucet. Total $357.00 and my sink was out of service for about a week. ApparentlyApparently they don't fix faucets only piped. Even thou they carry them on their trucks. (For $600.00 &up)

Our first experience with Plumbing Medic was when we had a slab leak. The first person, Carlos, to help us was professional, helpful, knowledgeable and honest. I had a small complaint one day when they showed up late, but Mike, who is a manager, was there, and he made it right, and then some. The true test is not when everything goes well, but when there is a complaint. How do they respond? Well, Mike and plumbing medic more than responded well. Even with the late start, they finished the major repair earlier than promised. The job was done professionally, and after drilling into concrete, left the area perfectly clean. And they even did some other repairs and adjustments while they were there. The service after was attentive as well. And the charge for the work was very fair. And yesterday, Mike returned and spent a lot of time, and he was able to fix things that had been done wrong, and were left that way, for years. He was patient, friendly, helpful, honest, and the price was - again - more than fair. And yes, the phone people are friendly and helpful.
So, the sum up. Professional, helpful, knowledgeable, honest, competent. Great to deal with. One of the few service companies where I feel safe asking, Would you take a look at this? If there's nothing wrong, they'll tell you. If there is something wrong, they'll fix it correctly. And they'll stand by their work.

I just used Plumbing & A/C Medic for the third time yesterday having them install a reverse osmosis system I purchased at Costco. After Nick S. installed the system per directions, it didn't operate properly. The plumber called the manufacturing company who told him to cross two of the color coded pipe connections as they have had some manufacturing issues with the wrong colored coded tubing at the wrong connection. He did that and it worked perfectly. He spent 20 minutes extra on the phone to figure out what was wrong with a system I supplied, but honored the quote of price for the install. They do good work! I gave four stars because they were a little later than the original time. This is a pattern where their dispatch packs their schedules tight, and it is difficult to estimate just how long a job will take. I recommend morning appointment windows as they are less likely to be behind.

Here's the background:

I had described in detail in my 4/28/2022 Yelp comment the shoddy, outrageously swindling, and, on the top of that, weirdly destructive service that the enterprise's employee plumber Spencer had provided me some days earlier.

I subsequently talked with Dannielle and narrated to her in further details Spencer's above service. Most commendably, she patiently listened to my narration and then instantly told me that she is going to arrange to refund to me within one business day the entire amount I had paid her enterprise through Spencer for his above outrageous service. (I imagine that in order to protect the good name of her enterprise, she also arranged to fire Spencer immediately.) I did indeed receive a full refund within one business day.

With Dannielle's mindset, the future of her enterprise is bright.

Need to have a water heater replaced at my new house, so I jumped on their website. I was greeted with a pop up chat window, and a friendly agent to correspond with. The agent took my information and told me it would not be a problem and someone would contact me shortly and provide me with a quote.

Here it comes, they call me back and tell me they will not provide me with a quote, they will have to send a technician out. The representative tells me it never works out for the customer. I would understand if this was to detect a leak or evaluate a system with a problem. I find it hard to believe they can not provide a basic quote, when other plumbing companies have the price to replace a water heater clearly posted on their website. If they don't want to provide quotes, they should simply say so from the beginning.

Over the weekend I had a situation with one of my homes that is for sale and now under contract pending closing. We had a plumbing issue and technician Dallen Handley came to the rescue! Our AC unit was not cooling past 77 degrees so I knew something was up. Had a company come out last summer and found it was low on Freon. They filled it and all was good. Fast forward to this May and had the same issue. The previous company wouldn't do anything about it from their fix the prior year so I said screw them and looked elsewhere.

This is when I found AC Medic. They helped a plumbing issue prior and were extremely helpful and quick. Long story short it was determined I needed a brand new unit (I know, a straight kick to the wallet). They made the financing super easy and the tech was at my house almost all day with me. Installation went very smooth and their cleanup was very thorough. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone with AC issue. They aren't the grapes but the body of work speaks volumes.

The only reason they don't get a 5 star is that when explaining benefits of getting a new unit, one selling point was I would get a rebate from SRP if I selected the middle grade unit or top-of-the-line one. I went with the middle and came to find out I don't get a rebate. When I inquired about it they said just have been a miscommunication and left it at that. Just make sure to verify that part.

Scheduled an appointment online. Was called very promptly and scheduled an appointment for a Friday morning in a window of 8-11am. Friday morning came, and the window of time came and went. I then received a call that they wouldn't be able to come out until 2-5pm that day. Couldn't manage that in my work schedule, so we rescheduled for Monday (again, an 8-11am window), and I was assured that this is an unusual occurrence. Monday comes, 8-11am window passes. I get a call from dispatch saying it will need to be more like 2-4pm, but that it will get done today. 2-4pm passes. 5:12pm, I get a call from a technician saying he's about an hour away and can be here by 6:15pm. Could not do that because of prior engagements. After wasting a whole day, and taking off 1.5 days of work, my sink is STILL not fixed. Do not give windows of time if you cannot even remotely come close to keeping them!

I am a small business owner and we had an AC issue using moving into our new facility - plumbing medic did not do the initial installation for us, so they kind of walked into a mess. Without hesitation their technician jumped in and proceeded to diagnose an issue. They were able to adjust the air flow on our vents that had been incorrectly calibrated when initially installed by the builder. We also had a thermostat issue that took plumbing medic 3-4 visits to remedy. They charged me for a thermostat on their first visit and stood behind their work. They replaced it two more times at no charge. Their final visit revealed an issue with the actually AC unit that was not their fault. No additional charges through the entire process. This is what integrity looks like. Thx guys!

Horrible experience with this company. I called because they advertise $64 to unclog a drain. I had clogged my kitchen drain earlier that day so I figured I would call and save my husband the headache of having to clear it. Super fast service and the guy shows up at my house and tells me it will be an extra $100 because he had to bring tools in from his truck to clear the drain. I thought for sure I had mis understood so I asked again what the $100 was for. He verified it was to bring his tools into the house and clear the drain. WTF!!!! How else would you clean a drain. Very disappointed that they would bait and switch you like that.

This is the second time i get scammed by plumbing and a/c medic! They say one thing over the phone and they change their story once here, even lie! Buyer beware! We received a mailer that states $64 drain unclog - any drain - any time. I called and explained our roof line needs to be unclogged and asked if the $64 offer still applies. Victoria assured me it did. At leat 3 times i asked her if there would be any additional charges of any kind she assured me at least 3 times no additional charges. Only the $64. When their kids plumber arrived he informed me there would be an additional $99 charge to get on the roof. I informed him i was told there would not be any additional charges over the $64 advertised on their flyer. He said he was going to call the office to see what the recording said. He came back to tell me that i was told i would be charged $39 service fee. Told him impossible because of they had i would not have accepted since that is not what the flyer says. Then he had the ball to tell me that based on his 5 year experience what i need is a $550 process. I let him know that the plumbers that serviced our main line thru our home warranty - who each have 25 years experience - told me i also needed the roof line cleaned out. I let him know that with a company that so blatantly lies i would not hire him for anything! 2 yrs ago i needed our shower gged. They had quoted also $64. Instead they wanted to charge $400 to unclog it and $250 to find the clean out! I called another plumber and he charged us $89.00. The shower still runs perfectly! Save your time and $. Find someone else!

My only complaint is that they did leave some water behind after it said that they had vacuumed and cleaned up the area. But that is a small gripe for the quick service

They replaced the blower motor on the air handler of my AC unit today. The service was fast and friendly. Your technician seemed to know what he was doing. When I looked up the part on the internet prices were between $75 and $150. Even with a significant markup, that's less than $300 for the part. He was here less than 2 hours and I was charged $825. WOW. I realize I have no expertise in this line of business, but to me that seems excessive. When I complained I got a call back for the boss he said AC work is expensive. My lawyer doesn't charge that much per hour.

We had a back up at the commode and tub that would not go down. Our across the street neighbors we please with Plumbing and AC Medics so we called them for the low price drain clean with camera guaranteed. They came out, spent 1 hour and provided 3 prices to get us working that ranged from $300 to $16,000.00. They could not open the drain so there was no charge if we did not want their service. Being in a 60 year old house with cast iron drains we decided to get it done as should be and opted for replacing all lines with the expand/pull technology. Yair, Moe, Carlos and Tim came out and over 4 days as agreed did they job. They kept the house amazingly clean inspite of jackhammer to kitchen and bathroom floor. Very pleasant gentlemen to work with. The job was done as agreed and we did a final review andpaid the balance in full. After they left we found the kitchen sink had only a trickle of water, the dishwasher no flow, and the ice maker had no water. We called and Carlos came back the next few days to fix all of the issues. There was never a suggestion of Hey, you said Job done and we are thru. Instead, the response was We will be out to fix it We are very please with Plumbing and AC Medic for the repair. $16,000.00 is much more than I wanted to spend but the service was professional, competent, and friendly. Yari and Carlos were super to work with.
If you need a drain cleared I would recommend this company. If you can fix it yourself you can save a large amount of money but most of us can't.

We are looking forward to getting an email of pictures and exactly what they did to have to document everythinig for the transferrable 5 year warranty.

We had a slow laundry drain, if we didn't stop the washer during it's drain cycle it would overflow. Our kitchen and guest bathroom sink was slow as well. Called them up, their tech Jonathan came out to snake the pipes, noticed some nastiness on the snake and recommended a jet wash of the pipes and a camera inspection. He came the next day to jet wash, and Tim their camera tech came add well. Found soil/dirt in our pipes. Meaning pipes are disappearing due, old cast iron pipe. They did some major surgery on our floor too get to the pipe to inspect. Just as they thought, holes in the pipe, saying we need a whole house re pipe (drain pipes). We had to bite the bullet and get it done, kind of need good drains! Max and Ivan came and to do the digging and connections, Joe did the pipe pulling. Tim and Jonathan came to work as well. This team is awesome. Max and Ivan worked all day everyday for about a week trying to get our plumbing back as soon as possible, and they did a great job. From the top down, great group of guys. Friendly, respectful, fun, trustworthy, clean (as much as possible with a job like that!). I love watching and learning and they all were great about answering my questions. Tim and the others were all great at that. I had no issue leaving them in the house with my wife or even on their own without us there. Will definitely recommend them to anyone!! Thanks fellas!

this company lies about their fees and they send un knowledgeable techs to fix simple hot-water heaters that are only six moths old . i was told it would be 39 dollars to come and diagnosis the5 problem they couldn't even figure out what was wrong so he told me he could start replacing parts till it worked wtf!!! so we said f no and he slapped us with an 109 dollar charge on top of the 39 dollars and called it further diagnostics what rip off . he did nothing but bend up my pan underneath it !!! you sent the most in experienced person you could . i will be seeking the better business bureau on this as well getting my money back run fast !!

Plumbing & A/C Medic provide stellar A/C service. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I have worked with them over the last couple of years. I cannot say enough about the lovely people who answer the phones to their amazing, knowledgeable technicians/installers to their Operations Manager, Mike. I recently had a visit to troubleshoot my relatively new A/C unit. The initial technicians, Calvin and Joe and along with their manager, Mike, determined that I needed a new unit. Mike quickly engaged the manufacturer and was able to negotiate a new unit. Mike was in constant contact with me, as the planning for the installation was approaching. He arranged a portable unit, as I would be working from home during the installation. When the installation day arrived, Braven, Andrew and Brent were the designated installers. They were pleasant, professional and had the new unit installed in no time. My new A/C unit quickly started to prove itself during the hottest July that I can recall. Post-installation, I received a follow up call. I am so very thankful for Plumbing & A/C Medic. Mike, their Operations Manager was so very conscientious and proactive in resolving my issue. I really cannot thank him enough. I highly recommend Plumbing & A/C Medic.

We called this company on sunday and they responded really fast & prompt. The issue was that both of our MOEN shower pressure valves(cartridges) needs to be replaced and their estimate is $594. I called around the companies who are licensed and bonded to take this at $250. The technician is extremely disappointed with our decision to not go forward and we wonder why he did that!!

I called after our plumbing backed up on the 10th, the weekend before my wife's surgery. Soon our service technician, Carlos Ephriam, arrived and quickly cleared the drain. He also provided an initial assessment as to what seems to be happening in the drain line--that the pipe may be bowed allowing blockages to occur. He told us to be attentive to toilets gurgling as this is a sign that a blockage has occurred and gave me some advice to prevent sewage from backing up into the house when this occurs in the future. He graciously charged us only the standard $64 rate even though it was technically after normal business hours. He also indicated that a follow-up visit would be scheduled wherein they would put a camera through the drain line to ensure that everything was done properly. Unfortunately, my wife's recovery room at the hospital was a dead zone and I was largely unreachable via cell phone, but I anticipate hearing from them soon.
In summary, our service technician was efficient, informative, kind, and fair.
Decided to post 5/5, believing the promised follow-up visit will soon be scheduled with us. If it is not, I'll revisit.

We had slow drains obviously thinking snaking would work. Entire drain failure with all drain and pipe being replaced from one end to the other. Abdiel and Carlos (who ran the crews) were amazing. I would recommend them for any job small to an old house finally giving out. They did bring in a water restoration company, Quick Restore, with them who probably pays referral fees to plumbing companies, and I will leave a separate review about them. However wonderful Plumbing & A/C Medic was, QR does not have customer service, will not speak or keep clients informed and appears to be trying to add on a profitable restoration business on top of dryout which they are not qualified to do. Plumbing & A/C Medic 10000 thumbs up. If QR comes with them, find another company to do the restoration or at least get another opinion.

Updating review: I've now used them for several jobs, and they are still just as honest and awesome as ever. I've used them to do plumbing and A/C work, and they are great for both. I've used other big-name A/C people around the valley in the past, and those guys are nowhere near as thorough as Plumbing & A/C Medic.

Original review: Loved them! They gave me a quote, and I ended up needing more work than originally thought... but they still only charged me the original quote. When I told our insurance adjuster how much we paid for the job, he nearly choked on his surprise and then asked for the plumbers business card to keep in his black book of honest plumbers. They scoped all of my drains because I live in an old house at no extra charge, and told me that everything is in great shape for its age. They gave me a realistic timeline of a few years down the road when I might start to see problems, but didn't push any products or services (just gave information). They did a great job, and I will definitely use them again!

We had a terrible experience with his company they came out and gave me a quote for $6,000 to repair a plumbing line that didn't need repaired. I had a leak locator come in and verify that there wasn't a blockage.

Great company! I had a drain line issue and the service I received from the first call to their office to the completion of the work could not have been better. Mike G with Plumbing Medic is very knowledgable, courteous and capable. They swiftly handled my issue, explained cost up front and beat (by at least 50%) the price I've had to pay in the past to other service providers for the same thing. Mike also brought Frank, an associate, in to run a camera through the line and show us where the issue was. This was included with the service and was very informative. Frank and Mike even took extra time to explain options to avoid the issue again in the future. Both technicians are superb and complimented the look of our home which we take great pride in. Coupled with their knowledge and professionalism this really made us feel great about the work they did. Well done!

Amazing company! Todd was the best. We wanted our water softener moved-but it was going to be a huge expensive job. We came up with a better solution that would save us money in the long run.

Problem was no air flow 1st floor condo unit.

Had a company i have worked with for 20 years come out and look at it. 2 hours .. unit ok, looked at a few other things that were associated but finally got up into the ceiling between floors, opened up the air duct and saw the photo below. Said it was a fire damper, never seen it in residential, but the company i use typically do free standing homes.

I did have a bit of a go around with dispatch but eventually Jesus lopez called. He had looked at the invoice for the original install and said 'we did not install a damper'. I then sent him the photo and he immediately said .. this is installed by the builder for fire and safety. You need to call fire and safety.

So if you saw the initial review .. i have adjusted. Jesus recognized the cause of the problem and who owns the issue. Now i just need to get my HOA to deal with it. I assume the builder installed for code.

It never fails when there is a plumbing issue that occurs during the holiday. However, when I contacted approximately ten plumbers in the area, only one service called me back. It was Plumbing and AC Medic!

They responded quickly and were able to dispatch Derrick within a few hours. He found the root cause to be actually more the a faucet stem handle issue, but a bad body valve.

He returned next day with Devin and replaced the body valve and putting a decent trim on to cover the hole they had to cut in the tile. Both Devin and Derrick tackled my problem with expertise and professionalism.

They even cleaned my daughter's bath tube drain which was having issues draining water out of it.

Keep in mind I this is subjective. However, I really only post a review if it is well deserved. I am usually a person who is very critical of work and services if not done correctly in my home as it impacts my family and of course my wallet.

This Company tried to rip me off probably because I am a single woman. They quoted over 10k for one ac unit and 3k for repair of the other. Another company charged me 220 dollars for the repair and said the could put in TWO brand new units for 9500. Stay away from this Company. Especially if your a single woman.

Called them at 9:30 this morning, after holding for a while we finally got through and told them we need someone to come out today. Going through the entire process of setting an appointment at approx 10:30 they said there'd be someone here between 12 and 4. We rescheduled our entire day to wait for them only to be called back at 2:30 to say they can't make it today.
That's 4 hours of my day they wasted. I will never call them again, this is not how professionals do business.

Receptionist was friendly and very helpful. They remember you when you call back and help you very efficiently. Aaron was our technician for our electric water heater. Super nice, upfront and honest. He tried really hard to diagnose the problem, spent longer than most technicians would, and got it to fire up. I highly recommend this company and Aaron I.!

Plumbing Medic responded very quickly too my call for service. My water softener was leaking from the top. The service tech said he knew what the problem was without as much as doing anything. He said he would need to call the manufacture to see if he could get the recirculating head. 15 minutes later he told me the part wasn't available. Offered a replacement softener at around $2500. Out he could loop the system for $500 so we could have water in the house. I said couldn't I just put the softener valve on bypass, essentially doing the same there as his loop suggestion... for NO COST. He wound up leaving. I decided to play plumber. Took off one piece and replaced some small o-rings. Drained the brine tank. Cleaned it well. Guess what? It's all working for a next to nothing cost. Bottom line...I would NEVER use or recommend this company.

Last night I broke the basin of one of the sinks in my master bathroom. It is an under mount sink and I was a bit concerned after researching having it replaced and the issues that might be involved. In the morning I called the plumber we normally use but was told they don't replace basins. They recommended Plumbing Medic. I called and was given an appointment for an estimate late in the day (between 3pm and 5pm). About 30 minutes later Thomas, the dispatcher, called back and said they had a tech finish early and could be at my home shortly. He arrived, gave me an estimate and the job was complete within a few hours. Kevin did a great job, was very nice and professional, and the area was left cleaner than when he arrived!

I am in the process of selling my house and I wanted an AC inspection done prior to listing. I had these guys out, Austin was my technician. Austin found a couple of issues and recommended some service in order to get through a home inspection without issue. Austin took the time to explain and show me what he found and show me some helpful maintenance tips as well. He was efficient and very personable. I would highly recommend this company and especially Austin on the AC side.

I'm late in leaving this review but I would not go to this company. They wanted over $1,000 dollars, which they told me was a discounted price, to do a 20 minute job that only required a little over $100 in parts. If you don't want to be ripped off I wouldn't go here.

Just moved to the area, called them at about 1pm. I was told someone would contact me within a hour and that someone would be out the same day. Then I received a phone call 2 hours later at almost 4pm stating that they won't be able to come until the Monday after the weekend. WTF. Now it's too late to even call another company! Never going to use these people

Plumbing Medic is awesome to work with. I have had a positive experience with my interactions with their staff. I spoke with the manager Mike and he answered all the questions I had. Right now I am just trying to get estimates, but I will most likely go with this company since they have been the most professional and their prices are reasonable. So far I have been really impressed with this company and would recommend to others.
