Great work by the technician Richie.  Showed up early but called ahead to make sure it was ok. Fixed the issue perfectly (broken disposal) and quickly. Cleaned up after the job.  Very personable, asked if I needed help with anything else and answered a few unrelated plumbing questions before he left. Good experience.  A bit of high standard rate for a run of the mill disposal replacement but guessing that is industry standard.

I used this company for a replacement of my water shut off valve and also yearly visits and draining of my water heater. They do a great job and very happy with their level of service as well as their friendly plumbers. Keep up the great work!

Have only used Pipetech twice but on both occasions the service was fantastic. My most recent experience was today with my leaky hot water heater. I called just after 7 am and by 1 pm my new hot water heater was installed at a reasonable price. If your looking for an honest plumbing company look no further.

Emergency call over a holiday, and they promptly responded.  They were out here within 2 hours on the 4th of July, and had my repair done by the following day.

Always friendly service, and a pleasure to work with.  My last encounter with Dillinger was thorough, and if he didn't know the answer he made the necessary calls to find the answer and resolution.  Thank you

They do not stand behind their work.  Their preventative maintenance agreements are worthless.

In May 08, we had Pipetech out to our house for an advertised special. The plumber recommended, among other things that we replace one electric water heater. The total service call was $2175 including $812.93 for new water heater, and $630 for 4-year preventative maintenance agreement.  My feeling was that this was very expensive, even for plumbing, but that I was at least getting quality products and service in return.  I was wrong.

Pipetech came out in 2009 and 2010, to inspect and maintain our plumbing, including the new water heater.

On August 27, 2010, we had a catastrophic failure of the new water heater, with water damage to our carpets.  Pipetech said that they would cover parts but not labor to replace the 27-month old water heater, which they had installed, and then inspected just 3 months before the failure.  They would do nothing for the water damage.  They demanded over $300 (on a Friday afternoon) for the repair, or they wouldn't replace the water heater.  I refused to give in, and got another water heater from another plumber on Saturday.

In summary, we replaced a functioning water heater on Pipetech's advice and paid them to inspect and maintain it.  In return, we got water damage, no hot water, aggravation, and a demand for more money.   This is unacceptable.

I had Ritchie at my home today to fix a clogged sink in my kitchen.  He did a good job with the repair and was very professional.  He was very pleasant and established a nice rapport.  I would recommend Ritchie and if I need any other work or projects with regards to plumbing I would request him again.

Recently, we contacted Pipetech after all of the plumbing in our home revolted.  We had always experienced some backing up of water in the kitchen sink when we ran the washing machine, but we were told that narrower pipes were used back in 1964 when our place was built, so we accepted the fact that we would always have the problem.  Occasionally, we relied on Drano and Liquid-Plumr to manage it, and called a rooter service every few years for a good snaking of the pipes.  But the problem persisted, and eventually became worse, especially when we had visitors for any length of time.  Recently, we had company who stayed with us for a week, which meant more showers, and more toilet, laundry and dishwasher use.  One morning while our company was here, we all started getting ready for a day-trip, so both showers were going and toilets were being flushed.  We were horrified when we suddenly had bubbling toilets that could be heard throughout the house along with backed up sinks and sewage in our bathtub and shower.  It was so disgusting, not to mention embarrassing.  We immediately got online and looked for a plumbing outfit that looked reputable and professional because we knew we needed more help than any rooter service could provide.  We decided to call Pipetech, and JR immediately responded.  It took some time to determine the source of the problem, but JR discovered that a snake previously used by another company had broken off and lodged in a pipe under our guest bedroom.  JR advised that there was a possibility we would have to jackhammer the bedroom floor to replace the pipe.  The thought of the mess it would create and the cost of such an undertaking was daunting.  JR informed us that the offending pipe was several feet from the edge of the house, and suggested that if he could dig down about 4-5 feet outside the guestroom behind our front bushes and then under the guestroom a few feet, he might be able to locate the pipe.  He spent several days digging (between other emergency calls), and finally located it.  But JR could not guarantee that he could extricate the snake and replace the pipe because of the distance he had to work from.  It was so hot out and he wore his long-sleeved uniform throughout the whole ordeal.  We made sure he was always hydrated, but worried about him constantly.  We prayed he would be able to resolve the problem, but not at the expense of his health, so we began to resign ourselves to the fact that we would have to jackhammer the guestroom floor.  On the third day, his boss accompanied him, and together they made one final effort to extricate the snake.  Suddenly, from inside the house, we heard loud cheering and laughter and ran outside to find they had succeeded in their mission.  Their perseverance and hard work paid off, and we are eternally grateful to JR and Pipetech.  Throughout the process, we also learned we had no washouts, so JR installed washouts to assist with any future problems, which we pray to God we never have.  Thank you, JR and Pipetech.  We would recommend anyone with plumbing needs to call Pipetech, and be sure to ask for JR!

I highly recommend Pipetech Plumbing. Their level of service has always been outstanding. We have used them since we moved to the valley in 2001. We recently had our water heater fail. Dillinger was at the house within 6 hours on the same day. He was professional, put together a timely quote and was very conscientious about keeping things neat and tidy. I don't think anyone does it better than Pipetech.

Had Ryan come out for a simple fix.  While he was here, he gave me a quote on a new hot water heater.  (Original came with the condo and turned out to be 16 years old!)  A few weeks passed, and he reached out to see if i had made a decision about replacing the old unit.  I did some price shopping, and found Pipetech's prices to be competitive with the big box stores.  (Plus, installation, taxes, and haul away were included in the price!)  Called to make an appointment, and had the new heater installed the very next day.  No upcharge, no surprises, no problems.  Nice to finally have a plumber I can trust.

A leak we discovered early this morning that we think had just begun at the toilet shut off valve led to a call to Pipetech for an immidiate fix---Marcus with Pipetech Plumbing was at the house within an hour!  

The bad valve and quite worn supply line were both replaced quickly and at a reasonable cost--parts, labor, travel---all were included in the price.  

Receiving a prompt response to the problem and an expert dispatched immediately to repair the problem gets two thumbs up from us!

Although I have had far less than positive experiences for years with Pipetech Plumbing and Rooter and Precision Air. Today the service technician Cameron almost made up for the past lousy service and unperformed preventative maintenance contracts, on three properties, for over three years. ( I do not recommend you get a PMI contract. It is a free country, so you can if you want to pay for service they do not preform...go ahead.;-)
Thanks Cameron....I did say ALMOST...I appreciated all you did removing a broken water-softener without charging me some outrageous rip-off charge. Your service managers should be as reasonable.

Richie came out this morning to do the 17 point plumbing inspection and when he flushed the water heater, the water came out orange - RUST!  He was able to replace the water heater on the spot with a new Rheem unit, then finished the inspection.  While he was here, I had several questions about the operation of my water softener and RO system and a leaking hose bib, all of which he addressed on the spot.  He was courteous and efficient and I am very happy with the work.  I also recommended him to a neighbor who stopped by to chat while Richie was working on the water heater and I think the neighbor was impressed by what he observed.

Richie has been out to our home a few times now for various needs, including a leak behind our refrigerator, installing a new toilet in the master bath--the list goes on!  He is always friendly and professional.  I also appreciate the time he takes to explain all our options and exactly what he did to fix the issue!  Highly recommend pipetech plumbing and rooter and Richie!

We just had some minor plumbing work done at our home by JR and were extremely pleased. Very genuine personality that recommended only what I feel as though he would have recommended to a family member of his. We had other companies come out for estimates and they were telling us we needed to replace all of our piping which would have meant tearing up our recently remodeled bathrooms...JR was the complete opposite and also informed us that they would beat any competitors pricing. Beyond happy with our services through PipeTech and will look no further than this company for our future plumbing needs.

This company was recommended to me by a friend. I would also highly recommend them. Shane and the gentleman with him were professional, pleasant and very personable. They got the job done quickly and explained everything to me before they did it.  They cleaned up after themselves and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely call them next time I have a plumbing issue.

As a small business in a small town we are always excited to meet someone that is willing to come out to our small town, and Ryan Hensley came out and did a great job working on our plugged pipes. I would definitely would recommend him to anyone looking for help with their pipe/plumbing issues!

We had a problem with a leaking shower head and I called one company I found online and had good reviews...their quote was over $500, so we wanted a second opinion. Pipetech was recommended by a friend and we could not have been happier with the service. First, they had a guy call us to get more details before coming out to avoid a service charge, they determined they needed to see what was going on and they charged us half of what the other company quoted. The repairman was very professional, even wore booties over his shoes to keep the house clean! He was here for about an hour. Worked efficiently and cleaned up after himself. What service, hope we won't need them again, but will not hesitate to call them.

We have had a service agreement with Precision Air & Heating and Pipetech Plumbing for many years.  It gives us free annual checkups and discounts on supplies. Last  week RJ came out to do the annual plumbing inspection.  He said we needed to replace the water heater and water softener.  The water heater was 6 years old and the water heater was 3 years old.  I know the problems that can occur if the water heater goes out, so I had them replace it b/c it was still under warranty. The cost to replace the under warranty 50 gallon water heater with the discount from the service agreement was $504.00!   The 3 year old water softener was still under warranty from Quail Plumbing (RJ didn't know that when he said it needed replacing). A nice guy named Greg from Quail came out today and inspected the water softener. Turns out it is working fine.  Now I'm wondering if the 6 year old water heater really needed to be replaced.  I think these guys are working on commission and take advantage of home owners.  I had to pay Quail Plumbing $75.00 for the service call just to tell me the water softener was fine.  I called Pipetech Plumbing to voice my concerns and am waiting for a call back from the manager.   I'll post later the results of that converstation...if that call comes.

I have used this company many times and they never disappoint. This time I needed them for a leak in the bathroom and they came out the same day even though it was 8pm on Friday night. Marcus fixed the leak and even helped me with another issue. I have a home warranty but sometimes it's worth paying a little outside the warranty to get things done right by a company you trust.

Just had Richie from Pipetech out to perform warranty maintenance. He was on time, worked clean, even to the point of having special booties on when working inside the house. Very good attitude, and was able to answer all my questions. Refreshing to have a tech and company that lives up to the promises they make on the warranty.

Today Richie came out to address a concern I had with our front faucet. He did a couple of different things to diagnose the issue and I was happy with the outcome. We also have been using this company for years and we have always been happy with their service.

Pipetech was highly recommended to me and it is THE WORST experience I have ever had with any technician.  Or, in this case, I should say technicianS.  I didn't have a leak until the first plumber who came out, stayed for five minutes and charged me over $120.00.  Two days later I had a leak.  Pipetech did come out again, but, in order to stop the leak it cost me almost $200.00 for the SECOND VISIT. I was told I would received pictures of the problem both before and after... NO Pictures.
The first guy told me AND MY RENTER my water softener was an accident waiting to happen.  I haven't used it for 11 years and once he is there and scares my renter all of the sudden it WAS Leaking water even though it hadn't been used for 11 years.
This is my first bad review I have written in my life, so, I am not writing this lightly.  PS - Good Luck getting in touch with someone in charge and/or getting the opportunity to speak to the owner or, get his e-mail address.  It is easier to get in touch with the Pope.
Oh, AND they made me pay in advance which has never been required of me in my life!!

appalled is an understatement ..... $508 to put on a customer supplied tub filler - $113 per quarter turn angle stop just two examples

while the owner Eric's explanation was I've been in this business for over thirty year and have the right to charge what I want.

Everyone has rights Eric but that right does not extend to theft  - charges of that nature are not usual and customary but dishonest

Many people are unaware of what actual cost are and really what should be acceptable charges

Business need to charge to pay employees - business related expenses - materials and have some mark up to make profit ..... what should profit be?  

NOT a lobster dinner every night

Be very careful when considering to hire this company - although we did not ..... I could not in good conscience not speak to my honest and true experience

I was fair with your plumbers who came to give that most outrageous bid of my background and not being the typical unknowledgeable homeowner within these applications

You absolutely get what you pay for but I am not sure stealing from the unsuspecting in order to paint yourself in a better light is best

My water heater had been leaking and not working for 4 days.  I called Pipetech Pluming and they came right out.  They sent an installer named Richie and his supervisor Manny to install my water heater the same day.  They were very knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and answered all my questions.  I will be referring all my friends and family to this company, they did an excellent job!

Recommended by KTAR radio , tried them out, nice first time they came out, second time plumber had to come out for changing our faucets without telling us, he wanted to charge us to put them back the way they originally were.  Garbage disposal lasted 10 months, mildew and mold seeping out of it.  Did not trust these guys to fix it properly.  High pressure sales to buy a 5 year service agreement with them.  Eek! Methinks not.

Had Pipetech out to replace a water heater. Richie was my technician and was extremely personable and professional. We had some water damage from previous heater, so he recommended a restoration company to treat the mold and do some drywall removal. Richie remained on site while mold company did their thing. A relatively short job took way longer than anticipated, but Richie stuck around and was very informative. The installation of the water heater is fantastic and looks professional. I could not recommend Pipetech and Richie more highly.

Smell from the drains in Master bathroom caused us to call Pipetech.
We had a nice young man named Shane come out and quote our job and then came back and did the job himself. Shane was courteous and professional. He did the job with a special 900lb pressure rooter that cleaned us out and Shane also gave us information on how to keep it from happening again.
Plumbing is never fun and always expensive, but I believe that Shane made the BIG difference going the extra mile. He is an asset and took good care of us. Thank you.

In 2007 we purchased a water heater from Pipetech.  This morning the water heater was leaking all over the garage.  We called Pipetech for repair as it was still covered under warranty.  The person on the phone at Pipetech was very sly at saying the water heater was covered under warranty but not parts and labor.  She never once mentioned the labor to replace the 3-year-old water heater was going be $400.00!  When the technician arrived at our house he told us it would be $400.00 to install. After I recovered from shock I said no thank you. He then wanted to charge me a service call fee of $40.00. He had been there 5 minutes. They never told me there would be a fee for him coming out.  I refused to pay.  A water heater is supposed to have a life span of 8 - 12 years, the piece of junk they installed lasted 3! Plus charging $400 for 2 hours of labor and not making the customer aware of the cost before the technician comes out is deceitful. When I spoke to the customer service manager, Lisa Watkins, she had no interest in resolving the matter. She told me it did not matter to her if I paid she would just send me to collections for the $40.00. By not clarifying on the phone the dollar amount of charges that would be due and the fact that the water heater was only 3 years old, I question their business practice.

Richie came out for our maintenance check today.  I usually like my husband here for things like this, but I felt very comfortable.  He was very professional and didn't try to sell me a bunch of things we don't need.   Excellent service

we've had a faucet literally hanging by a thread for weeks; i called one day and JR came out the very next day within the estimated time frame-replaced the whole thing in less than 45 min; polite, friendly and smiling.  I'll Always Recommend Pipetech!

JR at Pipetech was able to fix my sink in less than 30min.  He did recommend an additional step but was able to fix the problem while avoiding the additional expense.  He was very professional, clean and friendly.  I would recommend this company!

On Saturday afternoon, we had a pipe leak under our kitchen sink. I shut the water off, but I feared not being able to get it repaired until Monday. I called Pipetech and Steven arranged for Richie to come from Laveen to east Scottsdale at about 7pm Saturday. Richie fixed the leak, which was not easy due to tight quarters, and we were back in business by 8:00 or so. Richie is not only a very good plumber, but I appreciate his promptness, politeness and perseverance to fix this problem.
He gave us a chunk of his Saturday evening to improve ours. Thanks to Richie.
