DrainMasters Plumbing & Drain Service

Have been using Master for years.  Decided to use someone else due to bad customer support.  The lady on the phone is lack of patience and always in rush.  Also, very rude.

The final bill matched the quote. My drains were super clean. It all happened pretty quickly. :)

I had a drainage block, called DrainMasters and they had someone out to me in about an hour. Nate the service man took care of it quickly, effectively, and completely at a great price. I'm very happy with their service, and would recommend them.

I had a plumbing emergencies  twice one week. DrainMasters came out both times and was able to provide us with all the information we needed to address the issue. They came within the hour both times and we're pretty quick to get the job done, thankfully. Hopefully I don't have to call them again soon, but if needed I'd definitely call them again.

Had a plumber come out and tell me I needed a new sewer line out to the street, tearing up my asphalt driveway and charging me $12000!  Fortunately I called DrainMasters and they are going to fix the short piece of pipe that needs to be replaced for much less.  Thank you David, you're wonderful!!

BEWARE!  New owner!  They no longer offer any warranty on their workmanship.

Our toilet and bath were both having water rise up and it wouldn't go down (we live on the 1st floor of an apartment complex) these guys not only are close but came on a Sunday morning and fixed the issue within 30 minutes of being there. I forgot the guys name but he was super professional and got us back to normal in no time! Thank you so much!

Thanks Chris! We had a leak in our main water line to the house. He was here in less than 2 hours and had it fixed promptly. We decided to have our 20 year old water heater replaced and it was done in a few hours. Can't expect better service.

I had contacted another plumbing company, Woods Plumbing, to do very routine maintenance.  Checking the sewer lines on 2 properties.  They wanted $62.50 just to come out and that was fine but when they got there they wanted $350 to snake each line, a total of 135 feet.  I refused their service and paid the $62.50 and called DrainMasters.  They came out the same day and snaked both lines for a total price of $238.00.  They were much more professional and courteous.  They also did work at my home and were wonderful.  I will recommend them to everyone but stay away from Woods Plumbing.

Our drain was clogged on Saturday.  They came out that afternoon.  It was $100 for them to come to Tubac, but I was happy they could come out on such short notice.  BK fixed the clog and was very helpful.  If we have clogs in the future, I will definitely call them again.  Also, they come out 24 hours in a day so keep that in mind if it's an emergency!

A few days later the pipes are clogged again.
Got charged again.
This is getting quite expensive.
They did a video of my pipe and showed me roots they could take out with hydrojet. They  recommended Hydrojetting.
So I did hydrojetting.

Roots removed, but a couple days later  the old iron pipe is now broken and has a piece missing.
AND the broken section is under the street, so I may be liable for an 18 - 25k repair taking days if not a week.

Turns out they videoed after the hydro jet.  and the video showed that the pipe was broken then.. But they did not tell me.

They should have reviewed the video and told me then so I could have made preperations to fix  it quickly.

Instead, again, on a Friday, I am stuck unawares with an emergency broken sewer.
Now rocks and dirt are falling into the line. I may not be able to do a cheaper re-line now, and may have to do the most expensive thing:
tear up the street for new pipe.

On top of this, it is a vacation rental and I had to refund my tenants  thousands so they could move out on short notice with extra $ on top for their inconvenience.

An excellent plumber would warn you that hydrojetting a 90 year old iron pipe can result in breakage.

A responsible business would carefully check the video after hydrojetting.
A good businees owner would tell me right away about the break in the pipe so it did not become an emergency and result in me having to eject tenants last minute with all the costs and damage to my own business reputation.

Now I know and I want to make sure no one else goes thru this.
Take advantage of my expensive lesson.

Do NOT  Agree to get hydrojetting of old iron pipe for roots.
Hydrojet can make your pipe fall apart.
Use caution with your old pipe. have them cut the roots, and be prepared to do a re-line of your pipe right away if you decide to hydrojet and have very old pipe.

Get a company who is experienced in re-lining or trenchless sewer repair.

Drainmasters does not seem to know this, but you should.

We bought our first home sixteen years ago and started using drain masters within the first month. They are the only plumber we have used since then. They are always courteous on the phone and in person, show up when they say they will, and have never tried to cheat us.

Last week they went to a rental property we have. All we knew was that there was a bad smell. We said it could have been the water heater as we know it's old. We said it could have been the charcoal filter thing. Both would have been expensive fixes and we would have believed them. Instead they said we had a backed up drain. A small problem that was quick, easy and cheap to fix.

And their office staff still have me good information on what to look for in a water heater and the questions to ask when getting quotes for having it installed.

Broke my outside faucet Sunday morning. Called DrainMasters and Mary promptly answered, explained next steps and the timing. David arrived at the time promised. Did great work and explained everyday he did the repair.  Price was fair.

I had an issue that required short turnaround service, like most plumbing issues. After calling DrainMasters on a Sunday night, I had an appointment for the following day. Nate was prompt, professional, and nice enough to come back with needed parts on my schedule to get the job done. I highly recommend DrainMasters for your plumbing repairs.

I called the office and got an appointment for the following afternoon. (Mine was not an emergency.) Chris came. He was efficient, courteous, and professional. He diagnosed the problem and laid out the options. He replaced the mechanical guts of my toilet tank and it is operating much better now.

I had another plumbing issue today.  My wife had called roto rooter to come out and get an estimate.  After 5 minutes of diagnosing the issue, I was provided an estimate of $717.  I asked for a breakdown of the costs and was told the part was $180 and the rest represented 2.5 hours of labor.  I thanked them for the estimate and called Drain Masters.  They showed up and had my problem fixed for $270.  

Drain Masters has come through for me twice with very professional service and very reasonable prices.  Whether you call them first or not, make sure you give them a call to get an estimate.

When the other guys couldn't make it less than a week, Drainmasters were there within a couple of hours.

Nate knew exactly what was wrong and what needed to be done, so we made arrangements for him to return the next day with the parts required.

When Nate arrived the next day within five minutes of the appointed time I was amazed.  The work was done well and promptly, and at a reasonable price.

I would say Drainmasters will be our first call the next time we have a plumbing problem.

These guys should be your goto people for backed up drains. My plumber wanted to replace the pipe clear to the road for $12K and they found the actual problem and will fix it for about a tenth of that amount.

They came in about 5 minutes and did the job in about 5 minutes. Un clogging a shower drain. The other places I looked had bad reviews and charged for un necessary things. They were nice and professional. A little bit more money but it seems like they won't charge you more in the end. I would recommend them.

They sent their expert to fix our filter faucet on the kitchen sink. He spent like half an hour messing with it and said it couldnt be fixed. Then charged $70 for his expert opinion. We then fixed it ourselves. Who is the expert now?

Since buying our home in 2007, Drainmasters is the only company I depend on for all our plumbing needs. (We have tried a couple other companies before finding Drainmasters, and it was a horrible experience! ) Our most recent transaction was the installation of our gas water heater.  The prices are reasonable, the technicians are professional and knowledgeable, and the work is done in a timely manner. Great company, highly recommended!

Called them with a slow drainage issue, office staff was friendly and accommodating. Service tech arrived as scheduled, took care of our problem by pulling tree roots out of sewer line. Cost was reasonable. Highly recommend.

A pretty average plumbing company that I've hired.  Most of the people I interacted with seemed nice.  

They did a decent job, but their prices seemed a bit higher than other plumbers I've hired.  Also I got kind of a strange vibe from one of the guys-- nothing major but it was kind of uncomfortable for me.

Overall they seem okay though.

I had two leaks in my home, one of them was a major leak behind the tile in our main bathtub. The other was under my kitchen sink.  Cody and Billy were dispatched. I have nothing but wonderful thing to say about those two .  They were friendly, respectful of me and my property, professional and totally knowledgeable about what it was going to take to fix the problem.  The bath was not an easy fix and it took several hours. Cody even called out a representative from a water restoration company for me in case I needed mold removal.  I totally recommend this team.

Had to use them twice so far. Such great people! We had Chris and another guy come (sorry can't remember his name) in the same weekend. Once on Sunday, so I know the guy who came was probably just on call, and on Monday Chris came after normal business hours. They were both really nice and efficient. From now on they're the only plumbing business I'll ever use. Their hourly rate is very reasonable too and you can tell they're not trying to get every last penny out of you. Their phone number is definately being saved in my phone.

We were glad that this company was able to come out on a Saturday and unplug our two showers. Because of the way our house was built, they had to access a pipe by cutting a hole in the drywall. This took them about 10 minutes, but they added $390 to the bill for it.

In fairness to them, we did approve the fee before they started. After he was done, the plumber mentioned that he was familiar with our kind of house, and so he knew pretty much what to expect.

I appreciate their help. I appreciate their knowledge. But I definitely felt gouged.
