I was referred to this business through my home warranty. I was so nervous because of the reviews I saw... but I had a leaking water heater and not many options.  John called me within minutes of the service request. He sent out Chris to do the inspection same day by noon.  John called me back and said he'll send it to my home warranty and they got it approved and installed same day!!! So happy about the service.  Anthony was who installed the water heater and he was a very kind respectful young man.  I think some of the people that are upset may not have the best home warranty and take out their frustrations on the service companies.  Thank you again.

I was referred to APC plumbing by my home warranty company.  I took the day off work to be there for the job.  When no one showed up within the scheduled timeframe, I called the office.  I as told that the technician would be at my home shortly, as he was completing the job scheduled before mine.  He then called and said that he was running late, and had another job to work on before heading to my house.  I decided it would be best to reschedule.  I called the office and tried to set up another appointment - they were booked all of the 4 days I had available the following week.  This was a major inconvenience, as I had taken the day off work to complete the project.  This contractor is simply not punctual and unavailable.

APC PLUMBING SENDS Chris out to my home to check out a sump pump per my home warranties order. Chris calls to come out the evening before my scheduled appointment which we were fine with. He shows up dressed like he is going out and seems very stressed (fidgeting and talking to himself a lot).  He doesn't do much in the way of checking out my issue but tells me it is actually my sewage ejector pump and there is something unnatural clogging it. We ask how he knows what is clogging it without looking and he claims even hair is considered unnatural to a home warranty company. Hair in your drain...unnatural? Ok. He leaves and calls me about 30 minutes later to tell me my sewage ejector pump is not covered and to call back if I want it fixed outside the warranty. I call home warranty to find it is in fact covered and so are stoppages. I call APC back and the receptionist Renee (I believe her name was), who must have been dating Chris because she literally went postal on me before I could finish my sentence and screamed at me to find someone else to fix my problem.  Terrible customer service!

Our home warranty company assigned this company to us.  Chris took the $80 fee and never followed up with the warranty company in the next steps.  We did our part and had the drywall removed from the back of house since the shower needed a valve replaced.  I called their business to let them know the drywall was removed and they can come replace the valve.  They had a week to get the work authorization from the warranty company. Edgar shows up and acts confused on what he's supposed to do. He said he'll call the warranty company and get the authorization.  I don't
think he even called the company.  The company never called to update us.  When I called, they said it's not covered and it would cost $850 because the work wasn't authorized.  They wouldn't give a breakdown of the cost either.
We switched plumbing companies through the warranty company.  The work was authorized and work was completed in a timely and professional manner.  Stay far away from APC company.  They are unethical.

This happened Friday and I was finally able to speak with John who was very rude and condescending. The turn off valve wouldn't shut off in my tub on the 3rd floor, water running full force. Had to rush to shut off main water supply, (as I was wasting a tremendous amount of water trying to get the turn off valve to connect)therefore no water in my home. My home warranty company American Home Shield assigned this APC. They accepted the expedited work order on Friday around noon, never called or showed up. I called my warranty company all weekend and they assured me that John said he was coming, also called APC ALL WEEKEND (at least 10x) AND NO ONE ANSWERED!!! The home warranty kept telling me they spoke to John and he said he was coming several times yet never showed up or even called to confirm or inquire what could temporarily be done so I could at least have water in the rest of the house.
This morning, just moments ago, today, July 25, I call APC and on the second ring John answers. I greet him cordially and he states we don't work on weekends, don't you like time with your family. Gave me my address without hesitation. He obviously saw me calling and decided not to answer! What in the name of somebody failed the 3rd grade is going on here. You accepted an expedited contract to fix or assess an issue and then you don't even call the customer, when you are confronted, you state you are not open on the weekends, but, you accepted the work order on Friday at noon. I told him I had an appointment at 9am and he said he can get someone out between 11:00 and 14:00. I have young children at my home. We had no water for this being 4 days.
I'm reporting this to the news. These excellent ratings are lying or they are friends and family. You don't know me and this is how you treat your prospective customers??!!! Very rude and unprofessional and then hung up. So, if you are smarter than a third grader, do not allow this company to service anything for you because I got the first hand unadulterated version of what you never want to do business with. If you take the risk, it will be a well deserved disappointment because you have been warned.
They don't deserve a star, a tomato, or a kind word.

They charge you to come tell you that you have a problem and say they will be in contact with you to schedule a time to fix it but never do. Literally just take your money and walk away. I finally got them on the phone just for them to tell me my home warranty doesn't cover it but my home warranty company told me they do. And the lady on the phone was rude yelled at me cussed at me and told me to find another company. Not until I get my money back sorry!

Like another post, I don't know where to begin.  I recently (8/26) had my hot water heater go out and I immediately called my home warranty company, which in itself is another story, and after being told water running through my house was NOT an emergency, I finally got a customer service rep the next day (8/27) who DID deem it an emergency and within an hour APC had a guy out!  I thought great the day is saved!  He got the water to the heater shut completely down (I had tried but faucet was old and wouldn't turn off completely), had a company out to start the dry out procedure, ripping out wet dry wall, insulation and such.  On 8/28 a man, John, from APC plumbing called and said I need to collect your service fee. (Now mind you my service fee with the warranty company is $75.00.) I told his I usually pay that to the technician at time of service.  He then replied, No we have to collect it BEFORE we deliver the heater.  I agreed and gave him my debit card and he said they would install the new water heater the next day 8/29. The heater was installed on 8/29.  NOW HERE IS WHERE THE PROBLEM STARTS. On 8/30 I check my bank account online and discover that APC plumbing has taken $429.00 from my account NOT THE $75.00 THAT WAS DUE THEM!!  I called the office and got NO answer, but left a message.  I called the technician and left him a message for someone to call me ASAP!  John called me and began SCREAMING  at me, saying he told me the cost was $429, wouldn't let me speak and threatened me, saying he was going to come to my home in the morning and PULL THE SOB OUT OF THERE, to which I told him he was welcome to try.  I am old (73) and I am on Social Security, but I know the difference between $75.00 and $429.00.  IF HE HAD TOLD ME DURING THAT CALL THE SERVICE FEE WAS $429.00 I WOULD NOT HAVE LET HIM INSTALL THE NEW HEATER UNTIL I SPOKE WITH MY HOME WARRANTY COMPANY.  My contract with them clearly states my service fee is $75.00 and that is what I expected to pay.  John NEVER said the fee was that much!  I immediately contacted my bank, who put in a dispute, which I am still fighting.  APC plumbing has NEVER shown an invoice with any figures on it, has shown nothing that I signed agreeing to the amount they took!!  I feel I was totally ripped off by this company, they have lied and this is no way to do business.  Stay away from APC Plumbing!!

Terrible customer service and follow through. They came through my home warrenty.  They came Jan 23, and my problem is still not fixed nor are they concerned of the steady stream of water coming from my sink since their plummer was here. It was not leaking prior to his visit, the original problem was decreased water pressure on just the cold side

APC plumbing is horrible company. They sent two guys that are labors to fix a shower leak at the house we rent. They never clean up after themselves leave us to clean up debree on carpet , tile, and drywall dust throughout the home.  Took 5 weeks to die a 2 to 2 1/2week job. Labors came yesterday to install shower glass enclosure that should take 2 hours ( that's how long my glass guys do installs) but they stated at 845 am and they left at just after 7 PM. Just got home and the wife went to use shower at 10 PM  27 hours later and the enclosure started leaking in many places. I'm a General  contractor and I one would never recommend them to anyone nor would I ever use them. Not sure if property manager knows how bad they are but will be talking to them about this company.

I was referred to this business by Old Republic Home Warranty for a faucet problem. Took a week for an appt. Got a text to confirm date and time frame 8-11 am. Plumber never showed and when I tried to contact them I could not even get a number or website from Google...only says Temporarily Closed on Google. The Plumber called several hours later and said he was told he was supposed to come in afternoon.  I explained to him I couldn't even contact them and didn't feel comfortable having him come after not even being able to get access to a website/company phone # and the temporarily closed issue.  He said he didn't know anything about it.

Home Warranty company sent APC out after another company bailed on us last minute for a major sewage back up. Dispatch called and gave us a service window of 2-6, Jesse called at 2 which was about 45 minutes before he arrived to confirm issue and share his eta. Jesse showed up and got to work right after diagnosing the issue, he communicated what he was the work, was friendly, professional, courteous, and through. After reading other reviews we were really nervous but he did a great job and got us up and running again!

The worst plumbing company in both customer service, technical expertise, and overall ethics! They are COMPLETELY unprofessional and DO NOT care about the homeowners. The tech that came out to my house to look at my water softener, looked at my unit for all of TWO minutes, determined that the console wasn't working, and proceeded to talk about unprofessional matters such as neighbors for almost an entire hour. Because I didn't want to be abrupt and stand offish, I humored him for as long as I could. He then took quick pictures of the unit, wrote up notes stating that it was turned off and in bypass (which I had to do because the unit kept running and it was running up my water bill), asked me who I was voting for in the upcoming presidential election (COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND NONE OF HIS BUSINESS), and I guess since he didn't like my answer, told my home warranty company complete lies about my unit, and what he did to determine his diagnosis. When I called this company and supposedly talked to the owner, she kept talking over me, wouldn't let me get my point across, told me that it sounds like you just want to argue and is basically not overturning their diagnosis. I've heard that these companies are in cahoots with the warranty companies and that they will do everything necessary to NOT try to fix your issue, but this is blatant BAD BUSINESS, and they SHOULD NOT BE in business! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Reviewing the other reviews here I can see why now I am rating this company a 1 star. My water heater supply line busted leaking through the house. My home warranty covers plumbing for pipe bursts and the replacement of water heaters. They dispatched APC plumbing tech Chris to diagnose the problem. He confirmed with me on the phone it was indeed a faulty water supply line, but that he was going to submit it to my home warranty company for the water heater as well since that is also an issue. Fast forward and my home warranty company is not willing to replace the plumbing due to the APC tech not submitting paperwork that states the supply line was the problem. Their records show the water heater is and was the only problem. I was quoted over $600 in modifications which is the term APC and my home warranty used to cover the pressure valve replacement, replacement of the shut off valve, replacement of the two water supply lines, and the electrical connection. My home warranty company told me that if APC tells them the leak came from the supply line as I said, they will cover that. I receive a call from APC tech Chris who said my home warranty company will most likely not cover the supply line or valve to that supply line because they don't do that and it is almost never covered. I express to Chris multiple times that I had already spoken to the home warranty company and that they had stated the opposite of what he is saying and that all they need from him is  to state the water supply line was faulty. He refused to do that. This is even after I told him I kept the water supply line evidence for insurance purposes and even after I told him a second plumber from the mitigation company relocated the existing water heater using extended water supply lines and there is no leak. Oh and the insurance claims inspector also confirmed that it was the water supply line. He refused albeit in a friendly manner. I told him I would not be using his company and here I am writing that this company needs to replace Chris for his stubborn attitude and unwillingness to work with the home warranty company and their customer in an honest manner. Additionally, the mitigation plumber who came out that never heard of APC or knew I was involved in this problem quoted $100 for the same $600 worth of work that Chris from APC quoted.

I live in Texas but have a home in Gilbert that my son and daughter live in.  I called my home warranty on a Monday to send out someone to unclog the kitchen sink and look at issues with the master bathroom sinks.  Edgar from APC Plumbing couldn't get anyone to come out until that Friday.  Edgar arrived, spent 5 minutes and said they couldn't unclog the kitchen sink and didn't even look at the bathroom sinks and left.  He told my daughter-in-law that they would have to get approval from the home warranty, and it would be 24-48 hours.  I then called the APC Plumbing company to let them know this and the gentleman on the phone actually started to yell at me.  They did send Edgar back out later that afternoon and he tried to snake the sink but said he needed a longer snake and would have to get approval from the home warranty, and it would be 24-48 hours.  My daughter-in-law was the one home when the Edgar came, she is pretty laid back, but she told me that he kind of grossed her out very unprofessional.  After all this, Edgar left one of his dirty gloves under the sink and one on the mat at the front door...how kind of him.  Today is Tuesday and I have not heard back from them and don't think I will.  Please don't waste your money or time with this company.

Edgar was the technician assigned to my work order. He called to let me know he was on his way and was Very Professional and Knowledgeable about what he was doing. I highly recommend asking for him. I don't know anything about any others as this was the first time I have used this company but, Edgar was great.

This company was selected by our home warranty (AHS) and we refuse to allow them to service our home repair. We needed a water heater replaced, and they said most likely Monday. They said possibly Saturday (today is Friday and we called Thursday). We expressed the urgency in getting this installed as we have a newborn baby. Our technician Chris was not the most professional. He was examining our garage and asking questions about what was in it. Also, asked to use our bathroom twice within the hour he was here, and did not wear a face mask while here. During normal times, no problem, use the bathroom. During a pandemic, please stop before coming to your service call and use public facilities.

I would give zero stars if I could. This is the worst company we have dealt with. They were referred to is by our home warranty company for a repair to the valves in our master bathroom. During the repair, they damaged both valves and stated they could not do any further repairs until they had approval from the warranty company or we pay out of pocket. As we had a marble slab that they would not go through, we called another company to remove the marble so we could continue with the repairs. In doing so, we found that the assessment from APC was incorrect. Instead of going through them, we had another company come out to complete the repairs. The damage was caused by them drilling and using a hammer to try and remove the bathtub valve. This broke the valve further causing us to remove the marble which should have been unnecessary. We also had our water shut off for over two weeks while trying to finish the repair. When we finally had the tub fixed and was able to turn the water on, water started pouring out of the shower valve that they said was done. We had to have someone come in and repair this damage from APC as well. When trying to speak to them about what happened, they have been rude, refuse to listen, and state it is our fault and they are not willing to do anything. Do not use this company!

TLDR:  After a month of ignoring our calls, denying they touched our shower which they left damaged far worst than what they came to address, they left us with, It's been a month and you hired someone else to fix the problems. What do you want? How about a job properly done the first time? Clear communication on issues and next steps? Acknowledge you may have caused us financial harm and will do something? This company could not deliver on any of the above. Steer clear and do not use this company!

Long version:

They were hired by our home warranty company to address a leaking shower valve and bathtub valve as we prepared to sell our home and failed miserably. This caused us to delay selling our house for a month as we had to reschedule other contractors since the water could not be turned on and pay substantial holding costs.  

The plumber they sent showed up on time and got to work but after working for 2-3 hours on the issues comes out and says he needs to go buy a tool from the store. He returns an hour and a half later with another gentleman but no sign of having purchased new tools. Hmm pretty weird since they didn't explain why his friend was there.

They change the cartridge in the shower and install a new handle but cannot complete the bathtub repair. The plumber onsite says (while not wearing a mask), We replaced the cartridge but it didn't stop the leak as the leak is behind the walls and we need to remove the marble to access the leak. At least we fixed the shower. More to come about the shower in a second here.

We immediately call a demo company to remove the marble and ensure there is no mold. After removing the marble, they say there is no sign of a leak as everything is completely dry shows no evidence of a water leak. We're stumped as this made no sense with what their plumber had said and now suspicious.

When we had another plumber come to fix the issue (a retired friend of my father who came as a favor since this was causing us to not be able to sell our house) and we turn the water on, guess what! The shower they fixed now leaks water non-stop even when turned off and everything has to be replaced (But didn't they replace everything when they were there originally you may ask? Yes! What a coincidence).

The assessment of the second plumber is they jammed the cartridge on both the shower and tub) improperly and may have damaged the internals. From this point on, the company ignores our calls for a month and when they finally answer, the lady who answers after a minute begins to yell at my wife and then me for 5 minutes without pausing (it was quite impressive) or listening to a single word we said. After declaring She doesn't have time for this, (um we left over 5 messages and it's been a month already...give me a break)  she transfers us to a mysterious plumber still not having listened to a single word we said.

He is kind at first but denies having touched our shower. Upon attempting to correct the record and explain what happened and the impact on us, he exclaims, It's been a month and you already fixed it. What do you want? He then goes on to state any opinion of a second plumber is meaningless since there is a conflict of interest. Hmm... can this be true even when it's a retired friend of my father who came as a favor? I doubt it. We never got into the fact I have pictures and videos (both timestamped) along with the physical evidence of how they left things.

Originally, we wanted a job done well to sell our house. We then wanted an acknowledgment that perhaps they would speak to the original plumber and ensure he is trained better both at his job and communication. Now we want others to stay clear from this company lest they find their $50 repair before selling a house turn into a $3,000 nightmare.

I wish i could give them zero stars. I just had one of the worst experiences of my life with this company. Although I have no complaints about the actual service, the person that I had the displeasure of connecting with over the phone was one of the rudest human beings I have ever encountered. She began the call with a major attitude and refused to connect me to my service technician to discuss what was wrong with the property. I was told that I would not be able to speak with my service technician about his visit to our property. What kind of service company doesn't provide you details about the services they provide? It is absolutely ridiculous. It ended in a yelling match between her and I. I just don't understand how someone so rude and horrible could be employed by any company, let alone be the point of contact for a company. Zero stars for such a toxic employee.

Worked with them thru Old Republic Home Warranty.
Frankly I wish I would have simply not worked with neither Old Republic nor APC and just went with a different plumber.
Would have saved way more time. Wasn't worth it.

I had a home warranty claim and APC was assigned.
After reading the reviews I was concerned about the number of low ratings, but went with who they assigned.
Contact person was friendly and helpful and repair was scheduled for Saturday. On Friday they called and asked if they could move to Sunday as they were down a tech.
Chris showed up on Sunday as scheduled. Clean and friendly. Work completed quickly and we both agreed the job was done.
Sunday night an additional problem surfaced and I called them on Monday.
Chris came back on Tues, fixed the issue and my toilet is happy.
Bonus points. Chris reset the float that was off slightly. He also noticed that one section of grout in the shower needed some attention
So I don't understand the low reviews. Most of my work is under warranty but anything that's not covered will be going to APC

This company is so unprofessional. My elderly mother's water heater went out on a Friday and her home warranty sent out APC. The tech that came to look was plenty nice, said he had to get it approved by the warranty company (of course), but he was working all weekend and it shouldn't be a problem. Friday night the warranty company let know her replacement was approved and the plumber would contact her. After trying to call APC all day on Saturday, even though their website says they are open, no one got back to her until late evening. At that point the woman proceeded to tell my elderly mother that she needed to pay her portion of the repair immediately over the phone or they weren't coming to fix her water heater until Tuesday. I have never in my life paid for a repair upfront. At this point I got involved and had the warranty company send a different company. They came out same day and charged my mom $300 less than APC. This company is joke. Do not call them

I write this review after just calling them and to my surprise someone answered. I told them I had filed a complaint with American Home Shield
because they would not call us after 5 calls.  We had to buy a new water water heater which would have cost us nothing under the AHS warranty.
The woman that answered the phone today 9/16/20 thanked me for letting her know BUT WE DON'T CARE stay away from this company.
I gave them one star but they should get no star.

The worst company that is nothing a bunch of crooks.  They totally overcharge you, especially when you go thru your home warranty for a replacement or repair.  They would not install my water heater until, they stated need to replace a water line for $259.00 and water valve for   $145.00 and gas line for $75.00 and t & P line for $185.00.  Which all those are about $100.00 at home depot, if that.  They think we are a bunch of stupid customers and gonna pay them 600.00 what crooks.  So no didn't get my water heater, had pay myself...I hate even giving one star. I would never use this company CROOKS....OVER CHARGING PEOPLE ESPECIALLY DURING COVID 19...

I had a great experience with APC Plumbing. My water heater had a crack and thus had no hot water the day before Thanksgiving. APC called me on Friday after the holiday and had a technician out on Sunday to review the issue. They submitted the paperwork to my warranty company and was able to get me scheduled for Wednesday replacement. The technician Edgar came and had replaced my water heater in about 2 hours. Everyone I met and spoke to was very professional and provided great customer service.

Edgar shows up and acts confused on what he's supposed to do. He said he'll call the warranty company and get the authorization.  I don't
think he even called the company.  The company never called to update us.  When I called, they said it's not covered and it would cost $850 because the work wasn't authorized.  They wouldn't give a breakdown of the cost either.
We switched plumbing companies through the warranty company.  The work was authorized and work was completed in a timely and professional manner.  Stay far away from APC company.  They are unethical.

Home Warranty company sent APC out after another company bailed on us last minute for a major sewage back up. Dispatch called and gave us a service window of 2-6, Jesse called at 2 which was about 45 minutes before he arrived to confirm issue and share his eta. Jesse showed up and got to work right after diagnosing the issue, he communicated what he was the work, was friendly, professional, courteous, and through. After reading other reviews we were really nervous but he did a great job and got us up and running again!

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. They never showed up during the 4 hour window that was provided. I called the company 3 separate times and left two voicemails for them to call me back to reschedule and they didn't call back for over 36 hours. Once I was on the phone with someone, she was absolutely rude and when I asked for her name, her response was, I'm the owner in a rude and condescending tone. She obviously hates her business if that is how she treats her customers. Find a new line of work darling.

Old republic home warranty sent this shady, half ass company out to camera the issue at my home.  The camera guy was here for 15 minutes, came to a conclusion our issue was 12' from where he put the camera in.  Once he left I dug the area up only to find 6' from where the camera was entered is a 4 T coupling that the camera stopped out.  I called the company to ask them to have the camera guy come out and actually do his job and the boss called me a f**k boy and told me the camera guy did do his job and hung up on me.  Here is the videos and text pics.  It gets even worse... they gave me a $9,000 quote to fix the issue... a issue they never found... people like this deserve to rot in hell.... Don't ever use this shitty company.  EVERRRRRRR!!!

I had a home warranty claim and APC was assigned.
After reading the reviews I was concerned about the number of low ratings, but went with who they assigned.
Contact person was friendly and helpful and repair was scheduled for Saturday. On Friday they called and asked if they could move to Sunday as they were down a tech.
Chris showed up on Sunday as scheduled. Clean and friendly. Work completed quickly and we both agreed the job was done.
Sunday night an additional problem surfaced and I called them on Monday.
Chris came back on Tues, fixed the issue and my toilet is happy.
Bonus points. Chris reset the float that was off slightly. He also noticed that one section of grout in the shower needed some attention
So I don't understand the low reviews. Most of my work is under warranty but anything that's not covered will be going to APC

I see that there are a lot of negative reviews about this company but in my limited exposure to them, I wanted to state that I had a great experience with them. The person who came out, John, was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and professional. He looked at the issues and communicated extremely well about what needed to be done to fix them. John showed me what the problems were and what needed to be done to get them fixed. He even went above and beyond to make sure that the current problem was not having a negative impact on our pool. He didn't have to do this but he went out of his way to provide an excellent customer experience. Thank you for having such good individuals that make the customer feel valued and know how to do their job.

They came out on a Sunday immediately and helped fixed a leak I had near the main water line. I have to say the reviews  were not favorable but my experience was very good. It was a bit pricey but it was Sunday and short notice. The work was good and I appreciated the professionalism

I noticed there was water coming from under my toilet.  I have a home warranty, so I payed for APC to come out and fix the issue.  The technician came out and merely tightened the two bolts down and said the problem was fixed and also quoted me for a new toilet.  Fast forward a few month later, and even more water coming out from bottom.  I am going to fix it myself and strongly recommend not using this company since they cut corners and do not actually fix the problem.

I was referred to this business through my home warranty. I was so nervous because of the reviews I saw... but I had a leaking water heater and not many options.  John called me within minutes of the service request. He sent out Chris to do the inspection same day by noon.  John called me back and said he'll send it to my home warranty and they got it approved and installed same day!!! So happy about the service.  Anthony was who installed the water heater and he was a very kind respectful young man.  I think some of the people that are upset may not have the best home warranty and take out their frustrations on the service companies.  Thank you again.

I wish i could give them zero stars. I just had one of the worst experiences of my life with this company. Although I have no complaints about the actual service, the person that I had the displeasure of connecting with over the phone was one of the rudest human beings I have ever encountered. She began the call with a major attitude and refused to connect me to my service technician to discuss what was wrong with the property. I was told that I would not be able to speak with my service technician about his visit to our property. What kind of service company doesn't provide you details about the services they provide? It is absolutely ridiculous. It ended in a yelling match between her and I. I just don't understand how someone so rude and horrible could be employed by any company, let alone be the point of contact for a company. Zero stars for such a toxic employee.

Like another post, I don't know where to begin.  I recently (8/26) had my hot water heater go out and I immediately called my home warranty company, which in itself is another story, and after being told water running through my house was NOT an emergency, I finally got a customer service rep the next day (8/27) who DID deem it an emergency and within an hour APC had a guy out!  I thought great the day is saved!  He got the water to the heater shut completely down (I had tried but faucet was old and wouldn't turn off completely), had a company out to start the dry out procedure, ripping out wet dry wall, insulation and such.  On 8/28 a man, John, from APC plumbing called and said I need to collect your service fee. (Now mind you my service fee with the warranty company is $75.00.) I told his I usually pay that to the technician at time of service.  He then replied, No we have to collect it BEFORE we deliver the heater.  I agreed and gave him my debit card and he said they would install the new water heater the next day 8/29. The heater was installed on 8/29.  NOW HERE IS WHERE THE PROBLEM STARTS. On 8/30 I check my bank account online and discover that APC plumbing has taken $429.00 from my account NOT THE $75.00 THAT WAS DUE THEM!!  I called the office and got NO answer, but left a message.  I called the technician and left him a message for someone to call me ASAP!  John called me and began SCREAMING  at me, saying he told me the cost was $429, wouldn't let me speak and threatened me, saying he was going to come to my home in the morning and PULL THE SOB OUT OF THERE, to which I told him he was welcome to try.  I am old (73) and I am on Social Security, but I know the difference between $75.00 and $429.00.  IF HE HAD TOLD ME DURING THAT CALL THE SERVICE FEE WAS $429.00 I WOULD NOT HAVE LET HIM INSTALL THE NEW HEATER UNTIL I SPOKE WITH MY HOME WARRANTY COMPANY.  My contract with them clearly states my service fee is $75.00 and that is what I expected to pay.  John NEVER said the fee was that much!  I immediately contacted my bank, who put in a dispute, which I am still fighting.  APC plumbing has NEVER shown an invoice with any figures on it, has shown nothing that I signed agreeing to the amount they took!!  I feel I was totally ripped off by this company, they have lied and this is no way to do business.  Stay away from APC Plumbing!!

They were sent to my house through American Home Shield, Chris was the plumber sent and he was on time, nice, clean and Knowledgeable  He fixed my problems, and double checked to make sure all was good, i would definitely use them again and recommend to family and friends.

I have no idea what Sam C. Is talking about. The only 'master' designation I would give them is master BS'ers. Unfortunately had to work with them through AHS for a warranty request. Couldn't fix it, then said they were ordering a part. Come to find out they weren't ordering the part. Then told me they were ordering a new faucet. Lied about that. Rude. Disrespectful. Incompetent. I would rather hire a toddler to repair my faucet then have these people come repair anything plumbing related at my house.

The worst company that is nothing a bunch of crooks.  They totally overcharge you, especially when you go thru your home warranty for a replacement or repair.  They would not install my water heater until, they stated need to replace a water line for $259.00 and water valve for   $145.00 and gas line for $75.00 and t & P line for $185.00.  Which all those are about $100.00 at home depot, if that.  They think we are a bunch of stupid customers and gonna pay them 600.00 what crooks.  So no didn't get my water heater, had pay myself...I hate even giving one star. I would never use this company CROOKS....OVER CHARGING PEOPLE ESPECIALLY DURING COVID 19...

We got this plumbing company assigned to us via our Home warranty to repair our water heater. They came out once and pressed the reset button on our water heater and left, we called them again three days later to come out and re diagnose the issue since it kept having to be reset. This would be the second day we take off work to wait for them.  A tech showed up and confirmed it needed to be replaced and he would submit the numbers to American Home warranty. we were told we needed to pay 600 dollars on top of what was covered for modifications. After the initial shock we decided to take a cash out option and do the repair with another company and that is when this company stopped answering our request for a breakdown of the charges to be submitted to the Warranty company. The home warranty company is a whole other issue we had to deal with daily, We now have to start the process over with another company because of the lack of information from APC. This issue has been going on for 2 months now. If you are assigned this company for repairs, I would insist on a different one to avoid the same issues we had.

TLDR:  After a month of ignoring our calls, denying they touched our shower which they left damaged far worst than what they came to address, they left us with, It's been a month and you hired someone else to fix the problems. What do you want? How about a job properly done the first time? Clear communication on issues and next steps? Acknowledge you may have caused us financial harm and will do something? This company could not deliver on any of the above. Steer clear and do not use this company!

Long version:

They were hired by our home warranty company to address a leaking shower valve and bathtub valve as we prepared to sell our home and failed miserably. This caused us to delay selling our house for a month as we had to reschedule other contractors since the water could not be turned on and pay substantial holding costs.  

The plumber they sent showed up on time and got to work but after working for 2-3 hours on the issues comes out and says he needs to go buy a tool from the store. He returns an hour and a half later with another gentleman but no sign of having purchased new tools. Hmm pretty weird since they didn't explain why his friend was there.

They change the cartridge in the shower and install a new handle but cannot complete the bathtub repair. The plumber onsite says (while not wearing a mask), We replaced the cartridge but it didn't stop the leak as the leak is behind the walls and we need to remove the marble to access the leak. At least we fixed the shower. More to come about the shower in a second here.

We immediately call a demo company to remove the marble and ensure there is no mold. After removing the marble, they say there is no sign of a leak as everything is completely dry shows no evidence of a water leak. We're stumped as this made no sense with what their plumber had said and now suspicious.

When we had another plumber come to fix the issue (a retired friend of my father who came as a favor since this was causing us to not be able to sell our house) and we turn the water on, guess what! The shower they fixed now leaks water non-stop even when turned off and everything has to be replaced (But didn't they replace everything when they were there originally you may ask? Yes! What a coincidence).

The assessment of the second plumber is they jammed the cartridge on both the shower and tub) improperly and may have damaged the internals. From this point on, the company ignores our calls for a month and when they finally answer, the lady who answers after a minute begins to yell at my wife and then me for 5 minutes without pausing (it was quite impressive) or listening to a single word we said. After declaring She doesn't have time for this, (um we left over 5 messages and it's been a month already...give me a break)  she transfers us to a mysterious plumber still not having listened to a single word we said.

He is kind at first but denies having touched our shower. Upon attempting to correct the record and explain what happened and the impact on us, he exclaims, It's been a month and you already fixed it. What do you want? He then goes on to state any opinion of a second plumber is meaningless since there is a conflict of interest. Hmm... can this be true even when it's a retired friend of my father who came as a favor? I doubt it. We never got into the fact I have pictures and videos (both timestamped) along with the physical evidence of how they left things.

Originally, we wanted a job done well to sell our house. We then wanted an acknowledgment that perhaps they would speak to the original plumber and ensure he is trained better both at his job and communication. Now we want others to stay clear from this company lest they find their $50 repair before selling a house turn into a $3,000 nightmare.

This happened Friday and I was finally able to speak with John who was very rude and condescending. The turn off valve wouldn't shut off in my tub on the 3rd floor, water running full force. Had to rush to shut off main water supply, (as I was wasting a tremendous amount of water trying to get the turn off valve to connect)therefore no water in my home. My home warranty company American Home Shield assigned this APC. They accepted the expedited work order on Friday around noon, never called or showed up. I called my warranty company all weekend and they assured me that John said he was coming, also called APC ALL WEEKEND (at least 10x) AND NO ONE ANSWERED!!! The home warranty kept telling me they spoke to John and he said he was coming several times yet never showed up or even called to confirm or inquire what could temporarily be done so I could at least have water in the rest of the house.
This morning, just moments ago, today, July 25, I call APC and on the second ring John answers. I greet him cordially and he states we don't work on weekends, don't you like time with your family. Gave me my address without hesitation. He obviously saw me calling and decided not to answer! What in the name of somebody failed the 3rd grade is going on here. You accepted an expedited contract to fix or assess an issue and then you don't even call the customer, when you are confronted, you state you are not open on the weekends, but, you accepted the work order on Friday at noon. I told him I had an appointment at 9am and he said he can get someone out between 11:00 and 14:00. I have young children at my home. We had no water for this being 4 days.
I'm reporting this to the news. These excellent ratings are lying or they are friends and family. You don't know me and this is how you treat your prospective customers??!!! Very rude and unprofessional and then hung up. So, if you are smarter than a third grader, do not allow this company to service anything for you because I got the first hand unadulterated version of what you never want to do business with. If you take the risk, it will be a well deserved disappointment because you have been warned.
They don't deserve a star, a tomato, or a kind word.

We had called our home warranty company to repair a leaky hose bib.   Unfortunately the repair wasn't covered under the warranty but Chris G came out, worked out a fair price and did a great job on the repair.  I would highly recommend APC Plumbing.   These guys are top notch!

I literally just opened a yelp account to warn everyone to stay away from this company!

Time off of work was taken for a necessary water leak repair and the company called the day before trying to change the time - then called 3 hours before the appointment asking for me to be available in 20 min. When they didn't show up I called - they said they were on their way - then 10 min later sent a text rescheduling after the weekend!!!!!
What nerve! We are now out of pay for the day AND the leak is not fixed

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Worst company EVER!!!

Home warranty company sent APC out for a repair. For both calls dispatch indicated via text that the tech would be out between 8am and 11am. Both trips out to our house the window of time was passed. But tech called us each time to warn us that he was running late. Jesse was our tech and did a good job. He was good at communicating, was professional and friendly. I would recommend them.

We had an appointment through our home warranty, stating they would be at our home between 8am and 12 noon.  I had to cancel a dental appointment to accommodate them.  They never showed up and didn't call.  I called and left a message today and have not received a call back.  This is to repair a garbage disposal that was just installed by them less than two months ago.  They replaced our old disposal with a cheap unit and of course it is broken.  Calling home warranty company to complain and possibly cancel warranty.  This is the worst service ever!

This company also go by Athenas Plumbing who also has horrible reviews. Unfortunately, this is who my home warranty company scheduled me with. However, I let them know how shoddy this company was and if I had a choice, I would have never hired them on my own given their reviews. You will have better luck trying to fix things on your own the correct way watching a YouTube video before shelling out money to this company who just takes short cuts and lies about what work they actually did.

I had a leak under my kitchen sink and was told by the technicians there were missing screws from the initial set up and hardware was loose. Instead of replacing the screws and removing the basket to apply new putty or replacing the gasket underneath, they just slabbed on plumbers putty below where the leaks were coming from (see attached photo). I literally could have done this for myself for $2 vs the $75 service charge which luckily is all it cost me through my warranty.

When I called to ask about the work the had been done and to get clarification on the scews. The gal on the other end danced around my questions and got extremely defensive and loud as if I had no right to question their work.

DO NOT USE this company. They are rude and dishonest and will be a waste of your time and money.

They charge you to come tell you that you have a problem and say they will be in contact with you to schedule a time to fix it but never do. Literally just take your money and walk away. I finally got them on the phone just for them to tell me my home warranty doesn't cover it but my home warranty company told me they do. And the lady on the phone was rude yelled at me cussed at me and told me to find another company. Not until I get my money back sorry!

Reviewing the other reviews here I can see why now I am rating this company a 1 star. My water heater supply line busted leaking through the house. My home warranty covers plumbing for pipe bursts and the replacement of water heaters. They dispatched APC plumbing tech Chris to diagnose the problem. He confirmed with me on the phone it was indeed a faulty water supply line, but that he was going to submit it to my home warranty company for the water heater as well since that is also an issue. Fast forward and my home warranty company is not willing to replace the plumbing due to the APC tech not submitting paperwork that states the supply line was the problem. Their records show the water heater is and was the only problem. I was quoted over $600 in modifications which is the term APC and my home warranty used to cover the pressure valve replacement, replacement of the shut off valve, replacement of the two water supply lines, and the electrical connection. My home warranty company told me that if APC tells them the leak came from the supply line as I said, they will cover that. I receive a call from APC tech Chris who said my home warranty company will most likely not cover the supply line or valve to that supply line because they don't do that and it is almost never covered. I express to Chris multiple times that I had already spoken to the home warranty company and that they had stated the opposite of what he is saying and that all they need from him is  to state the water supply line was faulty. He refused to do that. This is even after I told him I kept the water supply line evidence for insurance purposes and even after I told him a second plumber from the mitigation company relocated the existing water heater using extended water supply lines and there is no leak. Oh and the insurance claims inspector also confirmed that it was the water supply line. He refused albeit in a friendly manner. I told him I would not be using his company and here I am writing that this company needs to replace Chris for his stubborn attitude and unwillingness to work with the home warranty company and their customer in an honest manner. Additionally, the mitigation plumber who came out that never heard of APC or knew I was involved in this problem quoted $100 for the same $600 worth of work that Chris from APC quoted.

After a nightmare with another company through AHS, Robbie came out; thankfully it was 6pm, which works perfect for this single mom!
and he took 2 looks at my garbage disposal, which was leaking. Confirmed there was indeed, leakage and within a minutes had a new one installed.
Not only that but he was professional and discarded all trash.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL!! If I could give zero stars I would. FIrst off, the people that answer the phone are some of the rudest people on the planet.
Unfortunately we were assigned this company through our home warranty. Prior to APC coming out, I asked the home warranty company to not assign us to them due to their horrible reviews. We were stuck with these people as the warranty company had no one else to give us.

The tech came out to work on our whirpool tub. He took out the motor and said it needed to be checked. He took the pump with him and when he returned it, the tub started to leak upon re-install. Our tub had no leak prior to him.
The receptionist on the phone who I told the new leak problem to stated that they don't work on anything electrical. If they took out the motor, how can they say they don't work on anything electrical? The receptionist on the phone was so aggressive with us and started yelling at us saying I'M GOING TO DICTATE HOW THIS GOES DOWN! DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!  ARE WE CLEAR?.She sounded like a drill seargeant.

Per the other reviews, this company will further damage the issue in your home, not take responsibility and refuse to do the job they were assigned.

APC is dishonest and will take your money for doing nothing other than making the situation worse.

APC is a great company with great techs. After contacting my Home Warranty AHS, Chris was dispatched to my Townhouse to fix up a shower leak that caused some damage to the living room ceiling. He diagnosed immediately the causing problem, checked every single pipe, made sure there is no room for guessing. Chris is smart, friendly, clean and very professional on what he is doing. By all means he is a master plumber, and earned my admiration especially when he explained on details with passion how to care of the issue in the future. A word of thanks is not enough, I will recommend APC to my family, friends and neighbors.
If you ever have a need for a plumbing company, go to APC the best and forget the rest, you won't be sorry at all. Thanks

APC is a joke. Claimed I deliberately damaged a disposal that jammed (orange peels) and wouldn't replace under homeowner's warranty. Then they offered to install a cheapo replacement for $350. Another person who complained here had their disposal break (replaced by APC) within 2 months and it was never resolved by them. Avoid this company.

I would give a ZERO star review if possible.  This company was given my business through my home warranty company (AHS).  The initial install tech came out and spent a total of 5-6 minutes giving a thorough assessment of my situation.  The next day I received an email saying that my warranty company would only cover a portion of the cost (which was totally expected).  However the warranty rep was unsure of what each fee was for and advised I call the plumbing company to sort it out.  I called the company today and was met with the rudest, most unprofessional customer service rep I have ever dealt with.  The first question out of her mouth was not how's my day, or anything like that.  It was so you agree to the non-covered costs? .  The ONLY thing this company cares about is getting every extra dollar out of people.  The take the fact that you are in a bind and need an urgent repair, and abuse the situation.  The lady on the phone said over and over it's a normal repair, let me repeat my self for you, its a normal repair.  She was so rude and condesending towards me.  All I was asking was for what modifications were going to be performed to my home.  I wasn't arguing about the fees or the process.  I only wanted details since they claimed to need over $500 to modify my 11 year old home.  She then put on a supervisor who said the same thing.  They cut a line, but could not tell me what line or where.  Just that it was a warranty problem.  No one on in their office could describe what line(s) needed changed.  They have two photos the tech took the night before, but somehow didn't know what lines needed fixed.  The rep refused to lower her voice and let me finish my question without interrupting and telling me this is normal install.  I am gladly taking my business to a competitor of theirs and will be filing a complaint with everyone I can.  STAY AWAY!!  If your warranty company refers them, REFUSE them!  You can have the warranty company cut you a check instead and use whoever you want!!!!

Sounds like everyone below me has the same exact complaints. Do not use this company. They are dishonest, don't communicate and just collect  your trade call fee money from your home warranty. They do not ever come back to actually fix the repair, never pick up their phone and my home warranty had approved the fix...

This company also go by Athenas Plumbing who also has horrible reviews. Unfortunately, this is who my home warranty company scheduled me with. However, I let them know how shoddy this company was and if I had a choice, I would have never hired them on my own given their reviews. You will have better luck trying to fix things on your own the correct way watching a YouTube video before shelling out money to this company who just takes short cuts and lies about what work they actually did.

I had a leak under my kitchen sink and was told by the technicians there were missing screws from the initial set up and hardware was loose. Instead of replacing the screws and removing the basket to apply new putty or replacing the gasket underneath, they just slabbed on plumbers putty below where the leaks were coming from (see attached photo). I literally could have done this for myself for $2 vs the $75 service charge which luckily is all it cost me through my warranty.

When I called to ask about the work the had been done and to get clarification on the scews. The gal on the other end danced around my questions and got extremely defensive and loud as if I had no right to question their work.

DO NOT USE this company. They are rude and dishonest and will be a waste of your time and money.

We had a tech named Chris out to our home to repair our shower drain  recently, and he was a very professional young man who is an asset to your company-I think! He came in, knew what had to be done and completed it in a few hours. I will Highly use this company again if I ever need to. Thanks guys for a great experience

Home warranty company sent APC out for a repair. For both calls dispatch indicated via text that the tech would be out between 8am and 11am. Both trips out to our house the window of time was passed. But tech called us each time to warn us that he was running late. Jesse was our tech and did a good job. He was good at communicating, was professional and friendly. I would recommend them.

After a nightmare with another company through AHS, Robbie came out; thankfully it was 6pm, which works perfect for this single mom!
and he took 2 looks at my garbage disposal, which was leaking. Confirmed there was indeed, leakage and within a minutes had a new one installed.
Not only that but he was professional and discarded all trash.

This company was selected by our home warranty (AHS) and we refuse to allow them to service our home repair. We needed a water heater replaced, and they said most likely Monday. They said possibly Saturday (today is Friday and we called Thursday). We expressed the urgency in getting this installed as we have a newborn baby. Our technician Chris was not the most professional. He was examining our garage and asking questions about what was in it. Also, asked to use our bathroom twice within the hour he was here, and did not wear a face mask while here. During normal times, no problem, use the bathroom. During a pandemic, please stop before coming to your service call and use public facilities.

APC is a great company with great techs. After contacting my Home Warranty AHS, Chris was dispatched to my Townhouse to fix up a shower leak that caused some damage to the living room ceiling. He diagnosed immediately the causing problem, checked every single pipe, made sure there is no room for guessing. Chris is smart, friendly, clean and very professional on what he is doing. By all means he is a master plumber, and earned my admiration especially when he explained on details with passion how to care of the issue in the future. A word of thanks is not enough, I will recommend APC to my family, friends and neighbors.
If you ever have a need for a plumbing company, go to APC the best and forget the rest, you won't be sorry at all. Thanks

Old Republic home protection warranty send APC plumbing our to my house to investigate a shower/bathtub drain Not Draining.

The technician did what he could with his equipment and the result was 18 inches of muck in my bathtub.
He said there was nothing he could do,  and would talk with his boss and send Old Republic home protection warranty a report.

He called me later to say they would have to replace the tub , remove tiles and would likely be approx $5,000.  I waited for Old Republic to get back to me ,  nothing after 2 weeks ( good its a spare bathroom but I had visitors )
I tried repeatedly to reach APC as I got a second opinion and the tech left his drill at my house - no response to my voice mails or calls .

I finally got Old republic to contact APC for the report - apparently, according to APC  there is an obstruction which would not be covered by Home Warranty but APC could fix it for $2500  ( half price now)

I got 2 other opinions and his assessment is tot6ally wrong!

They were sent to my house through American Home Shield, Chris was the plumber sent and he was on time, nice, clean and Knowledgeable  He fixed my problems, and double checked to make sure all was good, i would definitely use them again and recommend to family and friends.

Our shady warranty company sent this joke of a company out (first American) and they of course, lied to us and the warranty company and said that we needed modifications done in order to replace our water heater. We knew they were full of shit, considering when we called the warranty company with the tech standing there and told them that the APC tech claims these modifications are required by our warranty and the tech proceeded to shake his head and whispered to us to not tell them he said that.... needless to say, we had a legit company come out to give a 2nd (real) opinion about the replacement of the water heater and to our surprise (sarcasm) it didn't need modifications.... so what this comes down to is... don't EVER let APC come near your home. They are the scum of the earth. And the only reason they are in business is because they prey on home warranty customers who are stuck with pieces of shit like APC... Don't believe this review??? Just check out their reviews on BBB and pretty much any other review site.

I write this review after just calling them and to my surprise someone answered. I told them I had filed a complaint with American Home Shield
because they would not call us after 5 calls.  We had to buy a new water water heater which would have cost us nothing under the AHS warranty.
The woman that answered the phone today 9/16/20 thanked me for letting her know BUT WE DON'T CARE stay away from this company.
I gave them one star but they should get no star.

Technician came 5 minutes late in his 3 hour window.  He made every comment possible to have my warranty not cover the claim.  After all that, I wasn't given any information, a quote or suggestion on how to get my water softener in working order.

This was a huge waste of time and technician was either very new or inexperienced.

APC (Athena Plumbing Company) was assigned to me through American Home Shield Insurance to replace a hot water heater.  APC told AHS that there needed to be modifications to the install that would cost around $600 (electrical work, carpentry, etc.).  These modifications are supposedly things beyond a regular install, and these costs are deferred to the consumer.  Normally - there would not be any extra costs to me for a regular install.  
APC came to my home replaced the water heater but made no modifications to the install it.   They basically removed the piping and replaced it with requisite new piping and used the same electrical unit to attach to the top of the hot water heater.  There was no extra electrical work, no carpentry and no extra piping.  In addition, the technician neglected to put back the grommets that hide the holes going into the drywall. It was quite unsightly.   He made no modifications that were separate from the installation of a regular replacement water heater.   When I confronted the company on the modifications - they simply said that I had agreed to their modification request and they could stop the install, and I could get another company.
After the technician left, I heard a noise that sounded like water filling the tank.  The next day, the sound remained, so we checked around the heater and discovered the pipe (soldered by the technician) was leaking from two places and spraying into the wall behind the heater.  Had the technician replaced the grommet - the water would not have been able to shoot behind the wall.   I contacted APC and was told I needed to contact AHS first to place an order.   I contacted AHS (Wednesday evening) and then recontacted APC.  The owner indicated no one could come out to repair the leak until Friday.  I told her this was an emergency, and we needed to take care of it right away since it was spraying water behind the wall.  She proceeded to tell me that she had no one to make the repair and that AHS gives them two days to take care of emergencies.  APC did not appear to care their work was subpar and causing problems for the consumer (in addition to the fact I had paid an extra $660).  Most companies stand by their work, are apologetic for the problem and send someone out immediately to take care of their mistakes - but that did not happen with this company.  APC came out on Friday and repaired the leak. To their credit - they had a restoration company check the damage and complete all the repairs.
If you are in a situation with a home warranty service, I suggest you get other opinions to determine if the referred company's modifications are real.  In addition, take caution when using the services of APC.

I see that there are a lot of negative reviews about this company but in my limited exposure to them, I wanted to state that I had a great experience with them. The person who came out, John, was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and professional. He looked at the issues and communicated extremely well about what needed to be done to fix them. John showed me what the problems were and what needed to be done to get them fixed. He even went above and beyond to make sure that the current problem was not having a negative impact on our pool. He didn't have to do this but he went out of his way to provide an excellent customer experience. Thank you for having such good individuals that make the customer feel valued and know how to do their job.

We got this plumbing company assigned to us via our Home warranty to repair our water heater. They came out once and pressed the reset button on our water heater and left, we called them again three days later to come out and re diagnose the issue since it kept having to be reset. This would be the second day we take off work to wait for them.  A tech showed up and confirmed it needed to be replaced and he would submit the numbers to American Home warranty. we were told we needed to pay 600 dollars on top of what was covered for modifications. After the initial shock we decided to take a cash out option and do the repair with another company and that is when this company stopped answering our request for a breakdown of the charges to be submitted to the Warranty company. The home warranty company is a whole other issue we had to deal with daily, We now have to start the process over with another company because of the lack of information from APC. This issue has been going on for 2 months now. If you are assigned this company for repairs, I would insist on a different one to avoid the same issues we had.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL!! If I could give zero stars I would. FIrst off, the people that answer the phone are some of the rudest people on the planet.
Unfortunately we were assigned this company through our home warranty. Prior to APC coming out, I asked the home warranty company to not assign us to them due to their horrible reviews. We were stuck with these people as the warranty company had no one else to give us.

The tech came out to work on our whirpool tub. He took out the motor and said it needed to be checked. He took the pump with him and when he returned it, the tub started to leak upon re-install. Our tub had no leak prior to him.
The receptionist on the phone who I told the new leak problem to stated that they don't work on anything electrical. If they took out the motor, how can they say they don't work on anything electrical? The receptionist on the phone was so aggressive with us and started yelling at us saying I'M GOING TO DICTATE HOW THIS GOES DOWN! DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!  ARE WE CLEAR?.She sounded like a drill seargeant.

Per the other reviews, this company will further damage the issue in your home, not take responsibility and refuse to do the job they were assigned.

APC is dishonest and will take your money for doing nothing other than making the situation worse.

Is it possible to give less than one star?  They are incredibly rude.  They lie - the person answering the phone said she was the owner, but she's not.  They came in without masks - despite being asked to wear them and despite the fact that I'm immunocompromised.  They charged a debit card, when they asked to charge a credit card.  Refused to correct their mistake. They didn't show up at the scheduled time, kept pushing the time back and back and back.  Lied about water damage in the closet (there wasn't ANY). Just lie after lie and as the other reviews have stated, they are incredibly rude and disrespectful.  Any reviews over one star are more lies.  How is the same tech Jesse sent out on EVERY SINGLE ONE of the reviews that have more than one star?  So shady.  But typical of this company.  They are SO bad, that I bought their domain name so that other customers don't have to interact with them.

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. They never showed up during the 4 hour window that was provided. I called the company 3 separate times and left two voicemails for them to call me back to reschedule and they didn't call back for over 36 hours. Once I was on the phone with someone, she was absolutely rude and when I asked for her name, her response was, I'm the owner in a rude and condescending tone. She obviously hates her business if that is how she treats her customers. Find a new line of work darling.

Terrible customer service and follow through. They came through my home warrenty.  They came Jan 23, and my problem is still not fixed nor are they concerned of the steady stream of water coming from my sink since their plummer was here. It was not leaking prior to his visit, the original problem was decreased water pressure on just the cold side

They came out on a Sunday immediately and helped fixed a leak I had near the main water line. I have to say the reviews  were not favorable but my experience was very good. It was a bit pricey but it was Sunday and short notice. The work was good and I appreciated the professionalism

This is the worst costumer service I have ever had. They were sent to my house through my home warranty. We had to step out due to a death in the family. When I tried to call and cancel the women placed me on hold for over 20mins. So they ended up billing my home warranty company for doing nothing when I called to let them know what they did was wrong the women that loves to put me on hold did it again then told me to go through my warranty company so they can charge me again then hung up on me.  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY save yourself.

I needed my faucet replaced, he said it wouldn't be for another week because he didn't want to drive and get one that day.. home warranty company chose those to go with APC plumbing. Horrible service, horrible work and even worse communication. I agree with other reviews, your better off using YouTube to fix your problem.

APC is a joke. Claimed I deliberately damaged a disposal that jammed (orange peels) and wouldn't replace under homeowner's warranty. Then they offered to install a cheapo replacement for $350. Another person who complained here had their disposal break (replaced by APC) within 2 months and it was never resolved by them. Avoid this company.

The worst plumbing company in both customer service, technical expertise, and overall ethics! They are COMPLETELY unprofessional and DO NOT care about the homeowners. The tech that came out to my house to look at my water softener, looked at my unit for all of TWO minutes, determined that the console wasn't working, and proceeded to talk about unprofessional matters such as neighbors for almost an entire hour. Because I didn't want to be abrupt and stand offish, I humored him for as long as I could. He then took quick pictures of the unit, wrote up notes stating that it was turned off and in bypass (which I had to do because the unit kept running and it was running up my water bill), asked me who I was voting for in the upcoming presidential election (COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND NONE OF HIS BUSINESS), and I guess since he didn't like my answer, told my home warranty company complete lies about my unit, and what he did to determine his diagnosis. When I called this company and supposedly talked to the owner, she kept talking over me, wouldn't let me get my point across, told me that it sounds like you just want to argue and is basically not overturning their diagnosis. I've heard that these companies are in cahoots with the warranty companies and that they will do everything necessary to NOT try to fix your issue, but this is blatant BAD BUSINESS, and they SHOULD NOT BE in business! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Old republic home warranty sent this shady, half ass company out to camera the issue at my home.  The camera guy was here for 15 minutes, came to a conclusion our issue was 12' from where he put the camera in.  Once he left I dug the area up only to find 6' from where the camera was entered is a 4 T coupling that the camera stopped out.  I called the company to ask them to have the camera guy come out and actually do his job and the boss called me a f**k boy and told me the camera guy did do his job and hung up on me.  Here is the videos and text pics.  It gets even worse... they gave me a $9,000 quote to fix the issue... a issue they never found... people like this deserve to rot in hell.... Don't ever use this shitty company.  EVERRRRRRR!!!

We had called our home warranty company to repair a leaky hose bib.   Unfortunately the repair wasn't covered under the warranty but Chris G came out, worked out a fair price and did a great job on the repair.  I would highly recommend APC Plumbing.   These guys are top notch!

I would give a ZERO star review if possible.  This company was given my business through my home warranty company (AHS).  The initial install tech came out and spent a total of 5-6 minutes giving a thorough assessment of my situation.  The next day I received an email saying that my warranty company would only cover a portion of the cost (which was totally expected).  However the warranty rep was unsure of what each fee was for and advised I call the plumbing company to sort it out.  I called the company today and was met with the rudest, most unprofessional customer service rep I have ever dealt with.  The first question out of her mouth was not how's my day, or anything like that.  It was so you agree to the non-covered costs? .  The ONLY thing this company cares about is getting every extra dollar out of people.  The take the fact that you are in a bind and need an urgent repair, and abuse the situation.  The lady on the phone said over and over it's a normal repair, let me repeat my self for you, its a normal repair.  She was so rude and condesending towards me.  All I was asking was for what modifications were going to be performed to my home.  I wasn't arguing about the fees or the process.  I only wanted details since they claimed to need over $500 to modify my 11 year old home.  She then put on a supervisor who said the same thing.  They cut a line, but could not tell me what line or where.  Just that it was a warranty problem.  No one on in their office could describe what line(s) needed changed.  They have two photos the tech took the night before, but somehow didn't know what lines needed fixed.  The rep refused to lower her voice and let me finish my question without interrupting and telling me this is normal install.  I am gladly taking my business to a competitor of theirs and will be filing a complaint with everyone I can.  STAY AWAY!!  If your warranty company refers them, REFUSE them!  You can have the warranty company cut you a check instead and use whoever you want!!!!

Sounds like everyone below me has the same exact complaints. Do not use this company. They are dishonest, don't communicate and just collect  your trade call fee money from your home warranty. I literally just opened a yelp account to warn everyone to stay away from this company!

Time off of work was taken for a necessary water leak repair and the company called the day before trying to change the time - then called 3 hours before the appointment asking for me to be available in 20 min. When they didn't show up I called - they said they were on their way - then 10 min later sent a text rescheduling after the weekend!!!!!
What nerve! We are now out of pay for the day AND the leak is not fixed

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Worst company EVER!!!

This company is so unprofessional. My elderly mother's water heater went out on a Friday and her home warranty sent out APC. The tech that came to look was plenty nice, said he had to get it approved by the warranty company (of course), but he was working all weekend and it shouldn't be a problem. Friday night the warranty company let know her replacement was approved and the plumber would contact her. After trying to call APC all day on Saturday, even though their website says they are open, no one got back to her until late evening. At that point the woman proceeded to tell my elderly mother that she needed to pay her portion of the repair immediately over the phone or they weren't coming to fix her water heater until Tuesday. I have never in my life paid for a repair upfront. At this point I got involved and had the warranty company send a different company. They came out same day and charged my mom $300 less than APC. This company is joke. Do not call them

I was referred to this business by Old Republic Home Warranty for a faucet problem. Took a week for an appt. Got a text to confirm date and time frame 8-11 am. Plumber never showed and when I tried to contact them I could not even get a number or website from Google...only says Temporarily Closed on Google. The Plumber called several hours later and said he was told he was supposed to come in afternoon.  I explained to him I couldn't even contact them and didn't feel comfortable having him come after not even being able to get access to a website/company phone # and the temporarily closed issue.  He said he didn't know anything about it.

Frankly I wish I would have simply not worked with neither Old Republic nor APC and just went with a different plumber.
Would have saved way more time. Wasn't worth it.

I was referred to APC plumbing by my home warranty company.  I took the day off work to be there for the job.  When no one showed up within the scheduled timeframe, I called the office.  I as told that the technician would be at my home shortly, as he was completing the job scheduled before mine.  He then called and said that he was running late, and had another job to work on before heading to my house.  I decided it would be best to reschedule.  I called the office and tried to set up another appointment - they were booked all of the 4 days I had available the following week.  This was a major inconvenience, as I had taken the day off work to complete the project.  This contractor is simply not punctual and unavailable.

I would give zero stars if I could. This is the worst company we have dealt with. They were referred to is by our home warranty company for a repair to the valves in our master bathroom. During the repair, they damaged both valves and stated they could not do any further repairs until they had approval from the warranty company or we pay out of pocket. As we had a marble slab that they would not go through, we called another company to remove the marble so we could continue with the repairs. In doing so, we found that the assessment from APC was incorrect. Instead of going through them, we had another company come out to complete the repairs. The damage was caused by them drilling and using a hammer to try and remove the bathtub valve. This broke the valve further causing us to remove the marble which should have been unnecessary. We also had our water shut off for over two weeks while trying to finish the repair. When we finally had the tub fixed and was able to turn the water on, water started pouring out of the shower valve that they said was done. We had to have someone come in and repair this damage from APC as well. When trying to speak to them about what happened, they have been rude, refuse to listen, and state it is our fault and they are not willing to do anything. Do not use this company!

Is it possible to give less than one star?  They are incredibly rude.  They lie - the person answering the phone said she was the owner, but she's not.  They came in without masks - despite being asked to wear them and despite the fact that I'm immunocompromised.  They charged a debit card, when they asked to charge a credit card.  Refused to correct their mistake. They didn't show up at the scheduled time, kept pushing the time back and back and back.  Lied about water damage in the closet (there wasn't ANY). Just lie after lie and as the other reviews have stated, they are incredibly rude and disrespectful.  Any reviews over one star are more lies.  How is the same tech Jesse sent out on EVERY SINGLE ONE of the reviews that have more than one star?  So shady.  But typical of this company.  They are SO bad, that I bought their domain name so that other customers don't have to interact with them.

Old Republic home protection warranty send APC plumbing our to my house to investigate a shower/bathtub drain Not Draining.

The technician did what he could with his equipment and the result was 18 inches of muck in my bathtub.
He said there was nothing he could do,  and would talk with his boss and send Old Republic home protection warranty a report.

He called me later to say they would have to replace the tub , remove tiles and would likely be approx $5,000.  I waited for Old Republic to get back to me ,  nothing after 2 weeks ( good its a spare bathroom but I had visitors )
I tried repeatedly to reach APC as I got a second opinion and the tech left his drill at my house - no response to my voice mails or calls .

I finally got Old republic to contact APC for the report - apparently, according to APC  there is an obstruction which would not be covered by Home Warranty but APC could fix it for $2500  ( half price now)

I got 2 other opinions and his assessment is tot6ally wrong!

Horrible customer service. Tried to charge $180 for a $14 dollar part. Can't reach them when you need them. The girl on the phone is aweful customer service.

I had a great experience with APC Plumbing. My water heater had a crack and thus had no hot water the day before Thanksgiving. APC called me on Friday after the holiday and had a technician out on Sunday to review the issue. They submitted the paperwork to my warranty company and was able to get me scheduled for Wednesday replacement. The technician Edgar came and had replaced my water heater in about 2 hours. Everyone I met and spoke to was very professional and provided great customer service.
