The Scottsdale location of 1-800-Plumber +Air is new to the valley, but it comes through an organization that has been established for 37+ years. 5 generations of plumbers in a family leading us to the 1-800-Plumber +Air brand we know today.
ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER
Hi, my name is Ben. I am the local owner of the 1-800-Plumber +Air of Scottsdale location. My background is primarily in construction management. I spent years managing high profile high rise, train, and bridge projects in Chicago, IL. I left that to start a real estate investment firm and general construction company. We bought distressed properties and our construction company completely renovated them. After years of that, my wife and I decided to move to Phoenix to be closer to family. I worked in mechanical engineering for 2+ years, designing hvac and plumbing systems in buildings. With my background in construction management, and my new skills in design, I decided to get back into the contracting side of things. Helping homeowners and building owners with these critical systems, hvac and plumbing.

I was having a tough time finding someone to fix my Midea Air-handler, as it is not a common brand of A/C. When I called 1800Plumber+Air, Ben answered the phone and listened to exactly what the issue was- he took down the model of my unit and actually talked through the repairs with his tech before sending him out. The other companies I called (Goettl and George Brazil)just have an answering service and they do not relay any important info to their techs, thus having them show up only to say they could not fix it or find parts.
Ben listened to my issues and the awful experiences i had at the other places and said he would take care of it for me and that the tech he was sending, Travis - was the best. Travis showed up and quickly fixed my A/C (needed a new control board) and only charged me half of what the others said a new board would cost if they could find one to fit my unit. I will never call anyone else again but these guys for plumbing and A/C!!!
Our water heater conked out and leaked all over the floor. I called a friend who had just had his replaced and repaired by 1-800-Plummer + Air. He highly recommended them. I called and within 30 minutes my call was returned and within another 30 minutes they were at the house! Garrett was wonderful! No hard sell. Water heater was replaced same day. Could not be more pleased with this company!

Great customer service! The technicians are friendly and efficient. Every time I call them they typically show up, diagnose the problem, and fix it all within the same 8 hour work day. Wouldn't hire anyone else.
I have a fairly new home, built less than 2 years ago, and my tankless water heater went out a few weeks ago. The company charged me for a part I didn't need that was still under warranty. It took two weeks for them to finally fix it and all it needed was an electronic master reset.
I reached out to ask about why they charged me for a part I didn't need and they said due to all the time they spent here and on the phone with tech support.
Here's the issue I hope you correct going forward so it doesn't impact future customers:
1) Your technician didn't spend more than 5 minutes here the first time. He didn't troubleshoot anything. I told him the code and what I looked up online that led me to calling you. He said yup that's it. Then he left.
2) Had he troubleshot the issue it could've been resolved that day and we wouldn't have been without hot water for two weeks. Also, this would've prevented the ordering of a part that was unnecessary.
3) The second technician said he's not a plumber, rather he's an HVAC guy. I think having the properly trained technician would have sped up the job, reducing time wasted on troubleshooting a master reset.
I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 because I am thankful the last technician that came out was honest and was able to resolve it and get the water heater working.
I needed a fast response for a plumbing issue at a rental property I own. I manage it from afar so quality work on a fast timeline is a huge help for me. The team at 1-800 plumber responded immediately and fixed the issue at a reasonable price. Thanks!

I had water leaking from my slab, and they came out fixed leaking that day and helped with the water damage. I did not have money at the time, so they financed me so I could get the whole house Repiped.
Thank you so much. 1-800-Plumber +Air Definitely my go too plumber. 2nd time I have had them out to my house.
