A bit on the high side and they don't do anything that has to do with electrical or dry wall, which plumping and heat involves a lot of, so that's a big missed opportunity

I met these guys through our Builder MGJ Building Group, Inc. they did a lot on the Heating and Ducting work on our new home construction.  I worked with Shane the owner who was always good about explaining all aspects of our build's heating and hydronic in floor heating system.  

Well the condo we rent out now I got a text that they weren't getting heat to their showers or kitchen, the boiler was hot though so I called Extreme.  Elliot in dispatch said she could get a tech out between 11:00 and Noon.

I told her that I could meet the tech to let him in since our condos are secured and have the tech call me 20 or so mins before he gets there.  He called about 11:30 saying he was on the way.  I met him right at noon and he started trouble shooting the problem.

Transfer Box Replaced and Pump Replaced all is working as it should again. I have 2 of their techs numbers on my cell phone.

Have had many issued over the years with misleading information like telling me a heat exchanger is cracked requiting boiler to be replaced later to find it was a manufacture weld they saw and the boiler was completely fine. The latest issue with billing was a joke that after tons of warranty issues due to a newer employee wrenching on my boiler so hard that he broke the Venturi off (Which they billed me for), the hot water tank went bad under warranty so they replaced that and left fittings undone which caused water damage for 3 days. Its normal to receive invoices months later or not at all. The latest episode was a mixup on an invoice that was due which they e-mailed to an incorrect e-mail and sent to an incorrect address. I never received it after 11 months and they sent it to collections. I went in to ask why they didn't call my cell which is on the invoice to let me know I had a bill.  Carrie in billing says she doesn't have time to do that, they e-mail it and move on. They'll tell you they tried to reach out but its a lie. The stack of invoices on their office floor 2 ft high should be a clue they have a billing disaster. You will absolutely need to make it a point to go in and micromanage everything with billing.

Scheduled a technician to come inspect, service and flush my 5 year old on-demand water heater. They sent a guy who knew nothing about the brand water heater I have even though I gave them that information when I scheduled. He basically looked at it and performed a couple minor tasks which I do myself each year anyways. He said it needed to be flushed but didn't know how. Left me with a bill for his time and said they should come back next year! I thought about this a bit and decided to call the service manager. He did not really seem to care and basically hung up on me after I described what had happened and what should have happened. They will not be getting my business again and I cannot recommend them to anyone. This was a very poor experience.

So impressed from initial phone call with polite and helpful customer service to the on time arrival arrival of service tech Grant!     Fixed a leak in my hot water pipe in the garage.     Fast, efficient and reasonable!

Don't  know about the integrity about them but I can tell you this I heard the boss of this place yelling at the top of his lungs every cuss word in the book just because he had a dirty truck he was throwing things I live in back of this place if it was me I would of kicked his ass I never heard any body so verbal assaulted two years in a row he's a hot head and needs to be turned in I called this business and told them to cool there boss down a pre school is next door

We called Extreme to come fix a hot water problem we were having...technician did some work, which seemed at the time to be good ..and it was. However, we believe some fishyness was done during the original call out to warrant another call out in the future. And lo and behold a month and a half later, a part failed that had no business failing and had nothing to do with the reason for the repair.  The said part had been stripped according to the manufacturer. If you use this company, be aware and watch them like a hawk.  Ask questions...we personally will never use them again.  The only reason we gave them 2 stars is because they reimbursed us for the new part which my husband was able to install himself.

My heat went out today and I called around to see if I could get any sort of opening. I tried at least 6 places and I was put on their waitlists along with Extreme Heating Air. Well I waited patiently and was getting close to making peace with the fact that I was going to have to pay the after hour rate, until Extreme was able to squeeze me in. Derek was Awesome, quick and efficient! I saved them to my phone so I know who to call when I need help in the future.

We had our heating and fireplace inspected by extreme heating and air before closing on our purchased home. They reported some minor things that needed to be fix and fixed them. When we move in our furnace had an active leak and rust, called to ask if they can come back to check it out. It's hard to miss so I don't understand why that wasn't in the inspection report and fixed earlier. They came to fix it and made sure to charge us for it when it should have been handled initially. My opinion is they don't do thorough inspections and will charge you again if they missed things initially.

We have used Extreme several times before and recently used them again for issues with our water heater.  They were booked up but said they would get out as soon as possible to look at it.  Matt, one of the technicians came out and diagnosed the problem quickly.  He found some other valid issues, offered some suggestions while he was there.  He was awesome and took care of them right then.  He ordered a new water heater and Tyler came out two days early to install it.  These guys are great and really know their stuff.  Like Matt, Tyler was friendly, professional and meticulous.  He got us up and running in no time and the bill was very fair.  We highly recommend these folks to anyone who wants great service or repair to their heating, air conditioning or plumbing issues.

I was reading some positive comments on here before, I call them up.
My furnace gave up on me during the last couple of days of extremely cold winter days. I called them up on 4/8/21  to come to fix the furnace. The first day the technician, show up and check to see what is wrong. He told me that my ignitor is broken, he doesn't have that part in hand which is understandable. I gave him the okay to order the part. At this point, I have already been bill for the inspection. which I gladly pay for.

A couple of days later technician shows up with the ignitor and replace it, furnace still not working. Now I was told that the Mainboard is fry also, again I give the okay to order part too. Again a couple of days later, the technician show up and swap the mainboard and it still not working.  The new board also makes the same noise and light indicate as the old board. At this point, the technician said they don't usually work on this kind of furnace.

I asked how much I owe them now and he shows me the bill, around 500 plus at this point. But nothing is being fixed. So the technician, point out that my exhaust fan is also broken and needs a new part also. He take out the exhaust fan part and looked at it. I give him the okay to order a new part too, but the technician never returns again.  Now is 4/26/21 my furnace still not put together, parts laying everywhere.  No call follow-up or anything.

This technician can not pinpoint the problem at all but taking a wild guess making you paid for all the parts until is fixed. Very poor job on this company. What I learn in all of this is to never have high expectations of Extreme Heating and Air Inc. just because of some positive reviews.

I will not suggest this company to anyone base on my experience.

They to sell me on additional work that was not needed at present. They are a little pricey compared to other mechanical contractors.

Plumbers are professional and courteous. Component installed for hosebib replacement failed after 2 years. Portion of the stem came apart and clogged the pipe. Had to replace and re-drywall again. Company would not offer any discount because manufacturer only covers product for 30 days, and company offers 1-year warranty (not two years). I notified the company that they may want to change manufacturers if products are failing after 2 years.

Five stars for on-the-job plumber

I have used Extreme Heat since 2009 when they put in a new furnace in my house.  I had yearly service calls to keep it in good working order.  A few years ago I noticed a strong natural gas smell outside.  Enstar was called out several times and always determined it was nothing on their end.  Extreme Heat came out multiple times and fixed many other things at a cost of thousands over the various visits, but the odor of natural gas was never resolved.  I finally gave Moore Heating a call on a friend's recommendation in Dec. 2020 when the gas smell was in the house.  Moore's service person immediately noted the furnace was not level and showed me all the corrosion and other damage as a result of that.  He couldn't say if it was not installed correctly or had shifted in the earthquake.  Either way, a service person from Extreme Heat had been out multiple times and none of them ever noticed the furnace wasn't level.  I prefer to do business locally in Eagle River, but I will always use Moore from now on.  They were much more professional and helpful in resolving this problem.

Made an appointment with Mel on sept 2. 2020 for today, Sept 21 for 8 am. My husband and I took this morning off from work to be here with Mel. At 8:07 this morning, Mel was a no-show so i called him. Interestingly enough, Mel did not remember talking to me and making this appointment.
