HISTORY

Established in 1973.
Larry and Susan Davies started a company known today as All Comfort Services in their basement while raising their three children in Fitchburg and later McFarland. Founded under the name Air Comfort, the Davies’ upstart focused on the repair of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment for residential and commercial customers. In 2000, Air Comfort added electrical and plumbing divisions to complement its heating and cooling services. In 2004, the company changed its name to All Comfort Services to reflect its mission of taking care of a customer’s whole home to provide total comfort. With continued growth, All Comfort Services moved from Fitchburg to its current location on Voges Road in Madison. Larry Davies, sold all of his 100% percent stock to his own employees on December 31, 2022, creating an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). All Comfort Services is an employee-owned company.

I would rate 4.5 stars only because we are rather new customers and I would reserve 5 stars for proven track record of continuously exceeding expectations.

When moving into our home two years ago, we knew the air conditioning and heating system were on their last legs. This past week the heat began to go and we needed to get the system replaced as soon as possible. Jay at ACS did a great job with offering three energy efficient options at various price points. He advised us of manufacturer rebates and tax credits that allowed us to save almost $2000 and get the cadillac of options for just a bit more than the most economical option, with prompt installation.

Jay was very professional and knowledgeable about which products would give us the most bang for the buck considering our house size and heating/AC needs. Feel very good about the decision to go with All Comfort Services.

Had a cracked line on my ac unit - got charged $100 to find it, and then the quote was for $1150 and was told to replace my entire AC system instead of fixing it.  Got a second opinion from another place and they said it was just a $400 fix including a recharge.  All Comfort Services quoted me $500 in refrigerant alone.

All Comfort Services has been our go-to HVAC service company for at least 4 years now. They have fixed two AC units for us at two places and have done a great job servicing our furnaces as well.

Three troubleshooting events really stick out in my mind... Chipmunks chewing through outdoor AC thermostat lines... smart home thermostat with insufficient power... recently identifying a defective gas meter (that the utility company confirmed and fixed).

The only thing keeping me from making this a 5 star review is they are a bit pricey: their on call fee and diagnostic fee is calculated separately and a quick call is not cheap.  But the money is well worth it when their knowledgeable team arrives quickly, on time, and gets the situation fixed asap.

New feature! They now text and email a photo and the name of the tech making the service call. Great security feature and makes you feel more connected to their team.

Will continue to recommend them to family/friends.

I've used all comfort a few times in the past and had mostly good experiences. There was one bad experience, but my latest was excellent.

I had siding work done on my house and the box connecting my AC to the house was damaged. The siders claimed they replaced it and it was fine. When I flipped the breaker to turn the AC back on a month later all my electricity went off and I couldn't get the main breaker to flip back over.

I had to leave for work in 30 minutes and called All Comfort. They walked me through getting my main breaker back on in time for me to go to work. I scheduled a maintenance call for a few days later. Tom C then came out and fixed the problem in 20 minutes. I had an 8 to noon appointment window and he was at my house right at 8. He was friendly and explained what had happened to me which I really appreciate. I will be using them in the future.

I called their emergency number late Sunday night for an electrical problem. Dispatch took down my info and said someone would contact me. A few minutes later an electrician called me back and fixed the problem right away. Very impressed with the speed of service!

I spent about $2K with All Comfort on a hot tub electrical connection job and a 1 water pipe for an irrigation system.  I had a 3rd appointment for electrical to get an EV charger in my garage as well as expand some outlets in there.  I booked the appointment at the end of June.  The first appointment was for the end of July.  The day of the appointment they cancelled due to a technician having a heart attack (or bypass they told me in a different call) and other technicians having COVID.  So we rescheduled for the middle of August.  On the day of the rescheduled appointment (which was today), they called me and said nobody would be showing up.  This was towards the end of my appointment window.  She then advised that the soonest they could reschedule was October, or 7 weeks out.  She indicated that they wouldn't cancel other customer jobs for me and I, essentially, had to go to the back of queue.  She further indicated that the reason why they were so backlogged was because they only had one supervising journeyman electrician and that the apprentices weren't working up to their expectations in terms of speed and capabilities.  They physically aren't capable of handling your job.  I'm just adding a few outlets.  The journeyman was committed to MG&E and even though those requests were booked after me, it doesn't matter.  The little guy loses and MG&E gets whatever they want.  So basically they overbooked and since MG&E is more important, the soonest reschedule I could get is 4 months after I originally called.  I didn't even get an apology.  She often wouldn't let me speak without her interrupting me.

Illnesses happen, I get that.  That's why I was very understanding of the first no show.  For the second no show, they've known their staffing levels, capabilities and commitments for weeks.  They knew they couldn't complete my job.  Instead of giving me notice, they just no showed and then argued with me about why they're not going to fit me in in front of customers who booked after me.  I simply had to go to the end of the queue.

TL;DR - they no showed on me twice for electrical work despite my significant expenditures on them earlier in the summer.  Wouldn't adjust their schedules to fit me in.  And argued and interrupted me despite them not cancelling until my appointment window was already done.

I would not recommend this service provider.   They serviced my home with a relatively new and efficient furnance/humdifier/air conditioner for years on maintenance contracts and on service calls.  When I went to sell the home, the home inspection service for the buyer found a long list of deficiencies and violations such as ties on safety doors, missing shut-off switches, and leaks getting into the furnace from the humidifier.  The reason they are not a 1-star is that they did provide service and come when called.

Horrible customer service with rude caller who said they would not be able to make the scheduled appointment, less than four hours away, due to an unprecedented number of clients needed water heaters replaced today. This sounds completely phony. I had to take a vacation day from work to be home for this service. The All Comfort Services rep was rude and did not apologize or offer any reasonable alternatives or any compensation.

Very frustrated about my experience with All comfort and won't recommend it to anyone that I know.
My fiancé called them and she was told that it costs $96 for a technician to come and diagnose why our AC stopped working and based on that number we chose them.
When the technician came and after he finished his diagnosis, he told us that we have to pay $150 additional diagnosis fees that he didn't tell us about before.
We decided to pay and complain later and not to proceed with any fix because we couldn't trust to do any further work with All comfort at that point.
My fiancé call to complain ,spoke with Cameron and he clarified that the technician failed to let us know what the diagnosis effort will cost before starting it and letting us know that the $96 is just a dispatch fee!!
We asked for a refund for the $150 and pay the $96 because that what we agreed on for their service.
He refused to refund the 150$ and offered to refund the $96 instead !!
I didn't agree on that resolution simply because I won't pay any extra money for the company's mistake.

I will update this review as the situation goes.

I rarely post or comment unless I feel that I have been taken advantage of. Now, I am an average consumer with a college education, however, I am not familiar with HVAC systems at all. So, I am posting this in the public to hopefully help other consumers to not fall for the Spring Tune Up Offer by All Comfort Services @ 5245 Voges Road Madison, WI 53718.

In full transparency I am also posting copies of the quotes & receipts from the technician. Here: plus.google.com/u/0/1110…

Scenario:
- I found a special on Angieslist for $139 for a technician to come to my house for a spring AC Tune Up.
- My system is 23 years old, and the furnace has been very well maintained works fine.
- The technician was at my house for 45 minutes.

1. Replaced my furnace filter.
2. Put Comfort Services stickers all over my furnace (and removed the competitors)
3. I showed him how to turn on my thermostat (I have a nest)
4. Hooked up the gauges to the AC and ran the system 6. Stated that I have a very small amount of freon, and that it is cost prohibitive to find a leak ($435-$600, and recharge $161).
5. Recommended that I buy a new AC unit and furnace
6. Charged me $139.
7. Scheduled a Salesman to come to my house 2 business days later to sell me a new A/C & Furnace system for between $7,679 - $8,742.

Since then, I have had 2 other HVAC companies visit me and make other recommendations and provide a complimentary leak check by loading in nitrogen and offering me some other options.

Conclusion: I've decided to recharge the freon in my system through another HVAC company and they will come out in 2 months (free of charge) to test my pressure again. My honest opinion is that All Comfort Services uses their technicians to generate leads to replace full HVAC systems. In the future I will not be using All Comfort Services and taking my business somewhere else.

They attempted to charge me more than twice the cost for a heat pump than if I had bought it from them at retail not including labor. When I told them that I caught them, they sent us a box of chocolates!

I just had All Comfort Services remove my old tub surround and replace it with a whirlpool tub and tile. There was a hiccup with the tub getting back-ordered, but, Gary, the plumber, and their tiler were on site early on the Saturday morning before Easter to make sure the job was done.

Amazing service. I have used All Comfort now for electrical and HVAC on a kitchen remodel, and now for my bathroom remodel. I cannot say enough good about them.

I had a clogged drain and Rich and Thor from All Comfort Services quickly came and helped me with this issue.  They were professional and patient with all of my questions as I translated everything to the home owners.  I had called 17 other plumbing services and All Comfort Services were the only ones available to come by that day.  I will be calling for any future needs.

After convincing us to switch our service to this summer, with the promise that any call, 24/7/365 would all receive the same rate, they came last week to fix a furnace mid-week. Clearly, they didn't fix it, because we have returned from our weekend away and the house is freezing. I called the tech and the rate is more than double. That is the opposite of everything they have promised. I'm extremely disappointed in this company.

Our experience with Alll Comfort services was a little rough online, but absolutely amazing in person.

The online warnings: Their online scheduling system didnd't work for us. I submitted twice and heard nothing back, but once we called we were able to be scheduled. The only downside of this is that we probably could have been seen earlier had the online worked, which is annoying - but by no means a dealbreaker in using their services.

I can't say enough good things about Chris S. We have a pretty high strung dog, and he took some extra time upon arriving to give our pup some treats and get to to know him before beginning the maintenance on our furnace. While this seems small, and is by no means in his contract, it made the whole experience about 100 times better for me as a homeowner. Because of the extra time Chris took, I didn't have to sit through our dog barking while Chris was working, and didn't have to corale our pup to keep him out of Chris's hair.

Chris was efficient and very knowledgable. He answered all of my questions very thoroughly, and I left feeling comfortable with the status of my furnace. He also labeled important pieces of our home (electric and gas shut off) and checked our water heater. These didn't seem like things that were part of a typical inspection, and they were all highly appreciated to make sure we are prepared for anything in the cold winter months.

We will for sure be calling All Comfort for any heating and cooling needs - they are awesome!

Robbed blind! I was absolutely 100% robbed blind today when I used All Comfort Services and I'm kicking myself for it.

I would never recommend All Comfort services to anyone I know!

I booked All comfort services the other day after I was in need of an AC repair. My AC unit was installed by them back in 2019 and was still on the 5 year warranty. I double checked with them that it was under warranty before they came out. It was. I was told the dispatch fee was $129. And would be informed by the technician if there would be additional fees before the service was performed. So I was prepared to pay the $129. I was given a 4 hour window as to when they would show up - very difficult when you work full time and I had to take time off work to be home.

Turns out that my thermostat went bad - an overall easy fix. The thermostat was covered under warranty that's the good news. The thermostat was fixed and replaced as expected.

The bad news is that I was charged $535. A dispatch fee, a diagnostic fee, and an extremely high labor fee plus taxes and additional fees. Nothing was shared with me throughout the process or warned about the cost. Extreme sticker shock especially for a broken thermostat that you can buy at Home Depot for $130. If the thermostat was not under warranty they would have sold me one for $300+ I checked, no prices are on the website. I never received a quote or an invoice after the fact. I was never given manuals for my new fixed thermostat until I asked.

Very frustrating and very unprofessional. I asked their tech, David Hess, about the price and told him I was shocked and he lectured me on how I should learn to do my own maintenance then. Since I own a house I should learn how to fix everything myself.

I read other reviews and it seems like this happens often! The old bait and switch!!

This company came recommended by a neighbor.   I have an older Lennox furnace and wanted it serviced before winter.   I also wanted them to look at the Aprilaire humidifucation system that had been disconnected since we moved in to determine whether it was functional or not.  Up until then we had experienced no problems with the furnace at all.  They came as planned and checked and cleaned the furnace,  but the tech was unfamiliar with the the Aprilaire so he said someone else would have to come on a different day.  Someone else did come and they reconnected the Aprilaire and said that for an additional $68 they would service it, put in a new pad, etc, and I agreed.  Soon after they left our furnace began malfunctioning.   It would start up when the thermostat told it to, but wouldn't consistently start heating.  They came back at no charge, but were not able to replicate the problem.   The office people were helpful on the phone and agreed that if I sent a video of the furnace failing to ignite showing which lights were on for how long and do on. That this would be helpful.   I did this, and they acknowledged receipt and said they would research and get back to me.  I never heard from them again.   They took no ownership of the new problem that occurred immediately after their visit which was disappointing.   The Aprilaire has stopped humidifying also, but I don't think I'll call All Comfort since I have no faith in their competency or their commitment to follow-through.

TL;DR - Overall:  Average Rating.  While basic service was good, they seemed to struggle with meeting our expectations around a reasonably significant mistake on their part.

All Comfort provided good service and work for the furnace installation in my home; however, for a business with their ratings and standards, their actions handling a gas leak they were responsible for seemed less than adequate to my wife and I.  The break down:
-The technician finished the job close to noon, explained final details of the installation, and I left for work the rest of the day.  My wife and I came home to the smell of gas in the house about 6 hours later.
-The fire department came out with Madison Gas and Electric and determined there was a leak.  All Comfort was soon there to resolve the issue.  It was determined that the technician did not appropriately install a section of new piping.  This was admitted by All Comfort and they said the technician had additional training about the situation to avoid it in the future.
-Based on the severity and risk of the situation, I decided the appropriate response from All Comfort should have been to refund the cost of the labor.  The furnace and the thermostat worked fine, really the only issue was with the labor.  Considering it wasn't something minor like the furnace not starting, I thought a pretty significant compensation was appropriate.  All Comfort offered $100.
-After doing research, it appears that instances like this are very uncommon (only about 2 to 3 gas leaks per company out of hundreds of installations per year) and I didn't feel that it would have really hurt their business to just admit they made a mistake and eat the labor cost out of good will for their business and customers.
-However, research also showed that generally, most companies offered nothing beyond having their techs come out and fix the problem.  All Comfort arguably could be considered above local standards in this regard.  Also, no damage was done and nobody was hurt.
-After speaking further with All Comfort and explaining my reasoning, they were willing to offer $150 in compensation.  We agreed to take it but still feel this was a weak gesture.  They sent the check with an apology note.

To top it all off, they sent an apology letter with an All Comfort clock that didn't work because the battery they included was dead.

Purchased a home a few years ago, with a Lennox furnace that was installed by All Comfort.  Early fall I figured I should get the heating and cooling system checked over and cleaned up, so I called All Comfort, as their documentation was all over the furnace.  The visit lasted about 3 hours, with the technician checking everything over (heating, cooling, humidifier), and cost about $450.  Seemed a little steep for general/preventive maintenance call, but it was worth it for piece of mind that we would have heat through the winter.  The technician was personable enough, and since I needed to return to work, I left him alone to finish up the preventive maintenance.

Well, a little more than two months later, a week before Christmas the furnace failed.  It was on a Friday evening.  Fortunately our house has a double fireplace, which is was able to stoked all weekend and keep the house at 65 degrees.  All Comfort was able to come out right away Monday, and it would be $100, just for them to step in the door.  OK fine, it is winter, and they fit me into the schedule quickly.  I suspected the issue was the blower was locked up, since I heard buzzing coming from it prior to the furnace not working.  I am an engineer, and have a pretty solid understanding of how the furnace works.  I would have trouble shot it myself, but am in the middle of a remodeling project, and figured I would leave it to the professionals.  It took the technician (same one that performed the maintenance 2 months earlier) 30 sec to tell me what I already knew, the blower was locked up.  I am not exactly sure how he knew that, because i did not see him check anything, other than turning on the furnace at the thermostat.

He then proceeded to remove the blower, which took 2 mins (3 bolts, main exhaust tube, drain tube, and ground wire).  While he was doing this he started to tell me how the furnace is old, and it is not worth replacing the blower.  He started telling me that it would be $4000 (starting prices) for a new furnace, that my furnace was 20 years old and that he is surprised something this old is still running.  Asked me when I would like them to come out and quote a new one, etc., etc.  I asked why we could not just replace the blower?  He said he was not sure that they have the part, and that it would be $1300 if they do.  I told him to check to see if they have the part, and figure out exactly how much it would be to replace.  He called the main office, and talked about everything other than the part.  Meanwhile, my wife just arrived home from work, so I told him that I was going to discuss it with her quickly, as to what we wanted to do.  He disappeared out to his truck and returned shortly thereafter with a box, stating Oh, guess I had one of these in the truck, and a quote for $1300.

At this point, I really started to have suspicions about the whole experience.  The furnace breaks 2 months after getting preventive servicing?, a blower fan that has 10 mins of installation labor, costs $1300, my only good option is to replace the whole furnace for $4000.  So, I quickly looked online for the blower, ..... around $100 !!!!!!

So, I was going to get charged $1400 for them to come out and for parts and installation of a $100 dollar part that took 10 mins to install, ...... and this is all after multiple hard sells on a new 4K furnace, which I was told is really the most sensible decision.  These guys are not at all honest, and I will never work with them again.  Maybe the furnace breaking 2 months after servicing was coincidence(maybe not), but the dishonestly in pricing after the fact was offensive and obvious.  I will order the $100 replacement part two day shipping, continue to heat my house via fireplace for the next two days, and take the 10 mins to install it myself and save $1300!  All Comfort lost all my respect and future business!

I previously left a negative review but the manager responded and explained the mix up and apologized. Things go wrong sometimes but if they're willing to fix it it makes all the difference.
I even decided to have them do the work after receiving a fair bid for the job.

Pros:
* As far as I know competent
* Could book soon, others were not taking new clients

Cons:
* Expensive as hell, hundo to look at boiler very briefly, then quoted 800 to fix part, with additional upsells for more.  Suggested replacing entire unit.  It should have decades more life in it.  Got a second opinion from E&W and it was ONE FIFTH THE PRICE and work was done within an hour of looking at it.

Chris S from All Comfort came to our house today to perform the annual inspection and cleaning of our furnace unit.  Upon arriving, he was courteous and polite in introducing himself to my wife and me and thorough in explaining the services he would be performing for us.  Upon completion of the work, he took the time to explain everything that he found and completed during his inspection.  All in all, a most positive and pleasant experience.

My wife called for service to our 10yr old furnace because the blower motor stopped.
Technician inspected and quickly diagnosed a failed inducer motor.
Estimate was $1200, 'and I will need to inspect again to see if anything else is wrong'.
I paid the 'service call' fee and ORDERED HIM OUT OF OUR HOME!
Our furnace was repaired two days later by another company for $379.
any question?

Had an a/c issue. They scheduled appointment. Then had a cancellation so they fit me in. Thanks.

They called a half hour before arriving which meant I could run home and not have to take a vacation day.

Tech was knowledgeable, efficient and polite.

Service prices seemed very reasonable.

Great experience.

I found this service in the Bucky Book and used a coupon for half off the service call. They have set pricing on different services (so if something takes 30 minutes or 3 hrs, it's the same). I was given a quote on a service  (to fix our clogged basement sink) but then given an honest opinion that a Roto Rooter service would be better equipped and more cost-effective. I was very impressed with how nice the plumber was, and how honest he was. I paid $32.50 for his opinion, and I think it saved me over $100 on top of that. I will probably use them again for other plumbing needs (but now know to use Roto Rooter for blocked pipes).

Quoted me over $1000 to replace an ignition switch that cost $300 from another vendor. Quoted me $500-1000 more to replace my furnace as well. Basically, they tried to trick me into buying a new, overpriced furnace from them by lying about the cost of repairing the old unit. I would never do business with anyone at this firm again.

We had a home inspection done and there were issues with the furnace, namely rust staining and water pooling in the cabinet under the inducer motor. We requested the seller have this fixed before closing. He had ACS out to do the repairs and thought everything was fixed when he got the $400 bill. When I received the PIF invoice I noticed there were no notes about the source of water being repaired. Being 3 days before closing this was an issue. Note: I am a state energy assessor and I inspect hundreds of furnaces a year. My office is nearby so I stopped over to get the tech notes. The office staff including Daniel were great and got me everything I needed. The tech, Maurice, apparently did a tune up and then forgot to order a new ID motor. Long story short, they came back 3 more times to find the source of water and even though I could put my hand in a puddle of water in the furnace, we were told there was no water there. The techs are incompetent and negligible. Shortly after closing I had one of my regular contractors out to check things and he found condensate dripping from an exhaust manifold cover. Took him 20 minutes to fix and also removed the blower motor shipping bolt that nobody else noticed. While I appreciated the hard work of the office staff (hence the 2 stars), the techs are obviously not detail oriented and are grossly incompetent. I would never use All Comfort Services to work on my furnace again in the future.
Note: I have a top of the line Lennox and was hoping to have them do yearly service as they're a preferred Lennox dealer. Pity.

I won an air conditioner and a heating tune-up through an auction. Upon the initial inspection I was told that everything should be OK but that a newer furnace (mine is 8 years old) was recommended.

Later, when it was determined I could not afford a new furnace I was told that my venting was not up to code. All Comfort Services would then be happy to sell me a new furnace (to replace one that's only 8 years old) and a new water heater as well as the stuff that goes along with it (plumbing, electrical, etc.)

So I took it upon myself to hire a home inspector to look things over and was told that everything was fine. The venting was indeed up to code and that there should be no real reason that I couldn't have the A/C and venting work I wanted done with the current set-up. The inspector then also told me he has had trouble with All Comfort Services in the past using similar bait-and-switch tactics to upsell customers into equipment that is not needed (in my case it was to make up for the A/C unit I was getting for much less than the list price I think).

Emails and phone calls to Kendall Richards, the owner, went unanswered when I tried in vain to get my money refunded to me. Thankfully my credit card company worked with me to dispute the charges and I got my money back.

I would stay far, far away from All Comfort Services and instead use a more reputable heating and air conditioning vendor.

Called All Comfort Services to look into a problem with hot water in the kitchen. They properly diagnosed the problem--needed to replace the cartridge in the kitchen faucet, a relatively minor repair.  Work was done quickly and competently, but at very high cost -- $95 dispatch fee (not applied to the cost of repairs) plus $240 to replace the cartridge.  I also had them replace the water softener.  I was told at the time that this would cost $1375 including all installment costs.  However the final bill included an additional $202 charge for a p-troup drain line. This appears to be a few additional feet of PVC pipe that took around 15 minutes to actually install.  Their repair crew did not discuss faucet repair charges with me before performing the work, nor did they discuss the additional water softener installation charges. I was too surprised (and polite) to object when presented with the final bill.

Many thanks to Kendall Richards, president of All Comfort Services who reached out to me after reading this review and made some adjustments in the billing. The work was good quality (as noted above), the charges were inconsistent.  I have added a star...

We bought an expensive furnace from All Comfort 5 years ago. The furnace is under a 10 year warranty and died today. We called for service-it is a Sunday ( Valentines Day, yay!) - the repairman arrived a couple of hours later and could not verify whether we were still under warranty. My husband had to show him the paperwork and still the office could not verify the warranty. Why haven't they made their records digital so customers don't have to do twice the work to get serviced without being charged? The service guy is replacing the motherboard but still we will have to call on Monday to make sure they do not charge us for the parts. Update, they have been here for over an hour and a half (at overtime) and we are still waiting. Every half hour, I will take another star off.

This is the 2nd year we've used All Comfort Services to do a furnace check-up before we have to start running our furnace.

Billy T was our service specialist today. He arrived promptly within the scheduled window. Billy was polite and thorough. He walked me through the checklist he used for the furnace. He also taught me quickly how to use our AprilAir system, which we haven't used since we moved into our house 3+ years ago because we didn't really know how or what it was for!

We've always been able to find a coupon to apply to these furnace check-ups.

Our furnace stopped working.  Although it turned out to be a minor problem, the technician was very helpful and explained the issue. He checked out the entire system and gave advise as to how to address the issue in the future.  Explained that an expensive part could be replaced but it seemed to be working after he made some adjustments and stated we might get several more years out of it.  We were pleased with him and the documentation he provided in case we have further problems.

On Friday our furnace stopped blowing out hot air. We did not know who to call, but saw our furnace was installed by All Comfort so we gave them a call. They said the service visit would be around $96.00 and we thought that amount was fairly standard. The tech was there about 2 hours after we called. He then spent about 90 minutes diagnosing the issue, which was a faulty high limit switch. He then told us he could not have it fixed until Wednesday and that the cost would be $600.00! This was after charging us $375.00 to just come and diagnose. Obviously my husband and I were in a panic because that is a lot of money, but to have to wait until Wednesday to get your furnace fixed when the temps are below zero is frightening. To make a long story a little shorter, we called another company in town and they told us they could come on Saturday and fix the problem for $200. We were happily back in our home by Saturday afternoon. I will say that my husband received a call from the President of All Comfort who was very apologetic and who graciously waived the $375.00 fee. I guess there was a mixup in the pricing by the tech. So to sum it up, great customer service from the president, but strange pricing.

Comfort Services quoted me a $1000 to change a circuit board in my furnace (its a c.a $150 part and 20-30 min labour). The technician that came out also gave me a quote for a furnace replacement for $4000, he then charged me a $100 dollar fee for just showing up and left.

In contrast to this Warren Heating & Air Conditioning charged nothing to come and inspect my furnace, they quoted me $400 to replace the circuit board and inspect the rest of furnace (if I wanted to repair). They quoted me $1900 to replace the furnace. They showed up 8:00 the morning after and replaced my furnace in 3 hours. (great job Warren!)

I am sure that All Comfort is very capable of delivering quality work. Their prices just felt very high to me.
