SLG Contracting was started in 2018. Although we haven’t been in business long, we can assure you that doesn’t put us beneath any other companies that have been around longer. Our goal is to save the customer the most money and offer and deliver the best services. Give us a chance, give us a call!

ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER

The owner of SLG Contracting, Shawn G, was in marketing/sales/customer service for well over fifteen years. He worked in various establishments making other companies very successful. After many years of that, he realized he had a natural talent he could be utilizing here for the people of the Coastal Bend. He figured out the best way to help customers with any projects they may have and not have to charge an arm and a leg to do so. He is great at what he does because he loves what he does. His mission is truly to make the customer happy.

My husband and I paid over ten thousand dollars for an HVAC system that does NOT work. Shawn and his crew seemed like really wonderful people -- but they did not finish installing our HVAC system and this caused many issues, resulting in the system to completely stop working. With this South Texas heat, the home gets up to 90 degrees. We are depending on one window unit to get us by.

Shawn and the SLG team no-call/no-showed three times. They stopped answering our phone calls. Since they had missed 3 appointments and stopped answering, we had to call another company to get an idea of what was wrong, causing us to spend even MORE money to fix this non-working unit. I sent Shawn/SLG an email with a list of the issues, still nothing. I used my work cell (which I had never used before) to call Shawn, and he magically answered right away. He promised to get all of the issues from the email fixed the next day (7/16/20). Someone did come out (named Chris), but he had no idea what I was talking about when I showed him the list of issues that were wrong with the unit. He said Shawn had told him to just get it running.

We feel like we were completely taken advantage of. Please, please, please do not support this business. I went ahead and filed a complaint with the BBB and will pursue local media attention and civil litigation.

Did a terrible job, never finished, missed 4 dead lines, painting was a nightmare, paint was everywhere but the walls, electric doesn't work. . Quality of work was so poor I could of done a better job myself. Never responded to calls, demanded payment. Beware.

Worse company ever. He jacked me. Never came and started my project. He is a con. Dont do business with him
