My family started Rescue Air because we not only love what we do but we saw a need to do it better. I'm Josh Campbell and I am a 3rd generation Master Mechanical. My grandfathers portrait hangs proudly above my desk and we at Rescue Air believe that family values come first. My uncle, Michael, (master mechanical) and I are partners and grew up in the family business before starting our own company. Our core values of honesty, integrity, professionalism apply the same when you walk through the doors and into our company, or the doors of your home. We promise to show your family and home the same love and respect we show ours.. In 2015 we were one of the fastest growing Heating and Cooling companies in America. 78 percent of our growth was previous customers and referrals. I'm a father, I'm a husband, aspiring leader and 3rd generation Mechanical Contractor.  I also am a Class A Contractor and hold a Master Electricians license. Residential Heating and Air Conditioning is in my blood, it is what I have spent most of my life doing. I love my trade and my family owned business. I develop our team members every day however they may need and focus on being a great leader and sharing that leadership.  I lead our team by example.  Sometimes that's in an attic, sometimes that's in a meeting, sometimes that's by lending a helping hand.  If you need good advise myself or my team will always be eager to share our knowledge so never hesitate to call.

Thanks to Rescue Air we are cool!
We have been using one of the larger AC companies since we moved into our house 17 years ago and never felt confident that we were getting the full story. Reviews confirmed our concerns and we sought out a company that was focused on providing quality service, even if it meant we would pay a few extra dollars.
When Roman from Rescue Air came out to assess the poor cooling from our downstairs unit, we were relieved to have a professional to give us guidance and not pressure or scare tactics. Roman was patient and down to earth. He explained the key issues and his recommendations without getting too technical. He did not leave until we knew all of our options and had detailed quotes and a clear understanding of the warranties. Roman was able to patch up our downstairs system so we could return to our bedroom and not have to sleep in our son's room! Much appreciated.
We are planning to use Rescue air to monitor the health of our ailing AC and when the time is right to pull the plug and replace it, we trust the company to ensure that we get a high efficiency system that is installed correctly. A new AC system is a big investment and cutting corners to save a few dollars on the install just doesn't make sense. Similarly, buying a new car while your old vehicle can safely get you a few more miles down the road doesn't always make sense either. Rescue air strikes the right balance of completely fixing the problem at the right time.

Dean came out to check out our AC before it gets too hot.  Had to change one capacitor and the rest was just cleaning and testing everything.  He was very thorough and feel good about my system doing well this summer in the heat.
Dean was very professional and let me know everything he was doing and options I could think about doing in the future.

Worst experience ever.  Not only was I charged a huge amount of money.  The service was terrible.  Oscar was the plumber who came to my house.  My gas line was leaking and needed to be replaced.  This was a huge job and I kick myself for not getting bids from other people.  But I was desperate!  It was freezing outside and my furnace is gas, so I had no heat.  Their work did not pass inspection with the city of Dallas - which left me with DAYS more freezing temperatures in my house.  Not only that, the plumber lied about trying to reschedule the inspector to come out again. Fortunately I called the inspector myself and found that they had not even tried to set up another inspection.  They also tried to make me pay an additional $300 to have the inspector return.  And this was because their work was not up to code.  If you want your plumbing to meet code restrictions, do not hire this company.

We had our upstairs unit stop working, my wife called a company we had previously used but they seem to be no longer around. She found Rescue Air and got an appointment scheduled, Roman showed up was very professional asked our circumstance and proceeded to diagnose the problem. In no time he had found the problem and thankfully it was just a capacitor after replacing the part he took it upon himself to clean upbthe previous so called service repairs. Explauned the chargers incurred and didnt even charge for the extra work he did. That little effort goes a very long way with me.  We now have our new company! Thanks Rescue Air (properly named btw) and thanks to Roman hopefully we don't need y'all anytime soon but if so we have a 100% faith in the work being done properly!

Awesome and quick service.  I called after 5 pm on a Friday, and they had someone out by 6:30!  Roman was very knowledgeable and worked to get the problem fixed quickly.  He provided me with recommendations on how to make my system run better.  I would use them again and would recommend them to anyone!

Called on Sunday about 2:00 to set up an appointment on Monday; to my surprise they said they could send someone out in a little while.  About 5:00 Roman showed up.  Looked over my AC unit inside and out and gave me some very useful information. I'm not sure who i'm buying my replacement unit from yet but I was more than pleased with all the information Roman gave me as well as not being pushy while discussing my options.  Would recommend this company to others.

Our A/C unit was nearing its end so we called around the Metroplex and finally decided on Rescue Air.  
We worked with Michael who was extremely nice, always punctual, and very professional.  We were given many options that made it easy for us to make an informed decision.
We had a few post installation issues that needed trouble shooting, but Michael came out to our house more than once to make sure everything was right at no additional cost.  He was flexible with our work schedule and was always so helpful.

We definitely recommend Rescue Air!

Rescue Air saved us today, and made the experience as painless as possible. I will be using them as my primary HVAC service company from now on. We had an emergency AC issue over the weekend, and Rescue Air had a reasonable fee even for the weekend when other companies were quoting $200 just to come out and give an estimate over the weekend. Our Technician was Scott, and he could not have been nicer and more accommodating. He was at our house within 30 minutes of our call, and explained everything to me in detail so I understood what needed to be done. I couldn't be happier with the service I received.

I initially called Rescue Air Heating and Cooling to perform a check up on my air conditioning as the bottom floor was not staying cool. The original technician came out then said they would need to reschedule due to rain. A different technician came out to service our air conditioners a few days later and presented us with a couple of options to replace or refill. The technician was very pushy to sell us a new unit that was priced 2x the price as another company had quoted us then proceeded to talk negatively about competing companies which I found rather unprofessional. Perhaps a bad day? Shit happens and it's been a rough time for everyone.

About three days after the technician left, I started experiencing issues with the upstairs air conditioning. As the next couple weeks heated up, I was hesitant to call Rescue Air after the previous experience.

Josh, the owner, was kind enough to listen to our experience and send a different technician the next morning. They explained additional options to repair or replace our air conditioners. After discussing the options, we decided to have them replace both air conditioners instead of getting a refill every summer. In just over 24 hours, both air conditioners were replaced. It's over 90 degrees outside and it's finally less than 80 inside (it's actually 72, but who's counting )!

Given the initial hiccups, I would still recommend Rescue Air and call them for any future services.

All other HVAC companies should look to Rescue Air as the example of how business is to be done. We had received a number of quotes last year to fix our AC system because we were sweating all summer. As new homeowners, we had no idea how expensive it all was! So we did nothing and suffered all last summer. So June of this year rolls around and I've had it. I can't sweat through every night in my own house. I asked for recommendations and multiple people had great experiences with Rescue Air. So we called. Our technician, Roman, came out to the house and from the outset was as professional and personable as they come. The first thing he asked was why I called. I explained a couple of quirky things about our system but then also told him I really needed to find the most cost effective solution. He didn't blink an eye, told me he was on my side, and got to work. We walked the house and the system together, and he was more educational and knowledgable than any service person I have ever encountered. He loves what he does and wants people to feel part of the process! Our unit is undersized, and a bit past its prime, but still functional. Roman said we could probably get away with a new charge of refrigerant. At this point I liked him so much I said I'd like to talk about a whole system replacement. We sat down and talked through all of the options and he did not sell us on anything. He simply weighed the pros and cons of each different level and option for our circumstance. Rescue Air has many different financing options to lighten the burden of this enormous financial decision. For the time being, we opted for a simple refrigerant charge and it's really all we needed! Our house is cooler than ever! I'm so glad I was not told I needed a full system replacement like I had been told by other companies. I'm so glad I didn't feel sales pressure from other companies. The second we actually need to pull the trigger on a full new system, this will be our first call!

Had this company do a complete install of a new unit. The employees are nice and do good work installing the AC unit.
After the install, the sink below the attic that the AC drains into stopped draining to the point that it took 45 minutes to drain. The air pressure would build up in the pipe causing enough pressure that the sink would immediately stop draining. I called the company and asked if they could come fix the issue as I didn't want to void my warranty cutting into their work. I explained to them that they must have plugged the line, or changed what was already there because the plumbing into the sink could not breathe enough to drain. They argued with me treating me as if I didn't know what I was talking about and didn't want to send a tech out to fix something they did because it would be easy for me to fix instead. Their solution was to pour drano down the sink, or remove the trap underneath and clean it out. I told them that it wasn't the problem but would humor them anyway. I was too frustrated to call them back.
I ended up putting a Y fitting into the plumbing so it could breathe again and it started draining again with no problems.
If you know your plumbing, don't bother asking them to fix their work because it's an extremely big hassle. Just fix it yourself!!

Rescue Air knows their stuff, but in my opinion, they will use that against you to get the most money out of you as they possibly can.  I felt as if many of the typical sales tactics were present: It seemed like every objection had a perfectly prepared one-liner rebuttal, there was the let me call my manager tactic to see what can be done about the price (Proclaiming loudly with the manager about how not replacing the unit will cost me more money in the long term.  In my opinion, this was just an attempt at subtly convincing me that I needed the full AC replacement they were trying to sell me.)  I did not feel that their prices were in line with the work they performed.  They charged $250 for 2 lbs of R-22.  There were several remarks about how my unit was one of the worst they'd seen (in terms of how frozen it had gotten).  It's my belief that this is all just part of a performance they seem to be putting on to get you to separate with your money.

I won't be using this company again.  If you decide to go with them, or any company really, my only advice would be to get a second opinion before paying for any large repairs.  I'm giving them two stars instead of one, because even though I don't appreciate the upselling sales tactics I felt they were using, they were able to fix the problem I was having with my unit.  It's been a little over two weeks and I haven't had any further issues.

We had a tech come out and diagnose an AC issue. I thought he was very knowledgeable and personable. My issue is/was the bid for services. $2700 (or $2100 if we joined the service program) for capacitor replacement, leak seal and refrigerant.  
We ended up getting a second opinion and were charged less than a 1/4 of what was bid out by Rescue.

For the first year or so Rescue Air was a fantastic service, but their customer service diminished over the past year.

A few things potential customers should know:
-They don't schedule appointments, but rather 8 hour windows. There is no flexibility with this.
-They repeatedly ask their customers to leave 5 star reviews. If you want honest reviews, read the reviews that are less than 5 stars.
-On the positive side, all of the technicians I've met have been friendly. The company has excellent customer service when they're trying to sell/upsell you.

During my last scheduled service, the technician sent to my house didn't have a ladder tall enough to service my AC despite the unit's location being noted in my file. I was very understanding, because stuff happens & everyone was apologetic. A 2nd technician comes a day later, but he didn't have enough training to repair the one and only issue I was having with my AC. He let dispatch know that a *3rd* technician needs to come & address the problem. At this point, I'm a little frustrated because I have rearranged my work schedule for 2 days to accommodate their 8 hour window. I am still understanding though, because the situation wasn't the technician's fault.

Then silence: over a month passes and I receive zero communication from Rescue Air. No attempts to reschedule my service, no apologies for 2 different appointments not addressing the issue. I then decided to cancel my service because I'm not even sure what I am paying for at this point other than being inconvenienced during my work day.

Always stellar service. I could not recommend them more! They are the most professional and honest company I've ever worked with. We have three units for our house and any time there is an issue, we call Rescue Air. Not once have we felt less than confident we made the right call, whether to check on something or to install a new system... these guys are good! Roman really went above and beyond on helping us resolve our AC issues. I received great service from this company. Edie was EXCELLENT in getting my appointment scheduled and just provided outstanding customer service. Andrew was great in explaining the financing options. The technicians (Edward and his counterpart) showed up on time and did quality work and cleaned up after themselves when done. Everything just flowed so smoothly. The entire project from beginning to end was just a well oiled machine. I had called on Thursday to request an appointment for Friday to get a quote. By 3PM on Saturday, my new unit was installed. I wish this company could do all my home improvement projects.

Our AC went out after a recent storm in the area. We called around to many other places on a Tuesday with the earliest available appointment being Friday. I called Rescue Air and they were able to send someone out the very next day. I was so impressed with the booking and communication. The woman I spoke with (Eadie) was so polite and answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed. She explained what to expect so there were no surprises. The day of the service, I got a courtesy call to let me know I was the next house, and I again got a call 30 minutes before they planned to arrive, giving me plenty of time to meet the technician. I was also given a name, picture and bio of the person that I would be meeting at my house. As a woman, this was highly comforting.

John arrived and was perfectly polite and professional. He explained what he would be looking for and where he would need access to. I also loved that he provided me with a list of pricing for repairs prior to him beginning work, so that again, there would be no surprises and I had time to process the information rather than being rushed into a decision. John quickly found the issue and was able to replace the broken part same day. The whole process took under an hour. I never felt hassled to purchase a protection plan or additional services.

I will absolutely being using rescue air for any future HVAC needs.

I have called on Rescue Air a couple times in the past few months when I was having thermostat and heating issue's.  The staff has always been top notch, professional and very courteous.  I have dealt with many other 5 star rated HVAC techs that I found on Yelp and I had to deal with techs not showing up, and astronomical prices simply for coming out.  Rescure Air was cheaper for both times they came out in a few months span COMBINED than it was for the other guys to come out once AND NOT EVEN PERFORM ANY WORK!  The HVAC techs I had were all very knowledgable and on time.  I highly recommend Michael and the guys over at Rescue Air not only for their benefit but for the benefit of fellow yelpers, I can't say enough good things about these guys!

We have been using Rescue for about a year now and have had them perform two routine / preventative maintenance visits (no major emergencies or repairs).  Their office staff are always polite and helpful, and on one occasion when they couldn't honor our appointment time they gave us a credit on our account without us issuing any kind of a complaint beforehand.  

Their technicians have been efficient and knowledgable.  They do make suggestions about system upgrades each visit but have not been pushy with us.  Most recently, we had Nerio visit and although he got stuck later at a prior job he was still happy to do ours and even spent some time teaching us about some aspects of our system - my wife and I thought he was great and would like to see him visit on another job in the future.

Wow, I had a blower fan start to fall apart on me and was rattling my house and screaming at me from the air handler. I called Rescue Air as they'd just replaced it about 13 months back. Even though the part was out of warranty, Joe managed to find it and still replaced it at no cost. I am truly blown away! (No pun intended) It's nice to have a company that is willing to stand behind their services and set homeowners' minds at ease. It's easy to shop for HVAC repair but when it comes down to it, I can't thank Joe enough for coming through when it mattered most. Customer for life!

I've used Rescue Air for 3 years now. They have always been prompt and polite. Signed up for their membership program and it's paid off. There have been a few things here and there that they have done to keep our old units running. One of the units went out last night and they had Andrew here before lunch time today. Andrew was clean,courteous, and polite. Once the issue was found he took me outside to show me exactly what had gone wrong. We discussed options and there was NO pressure at all. He answered every question quickly and with knowledge. New complete unit being installed tomorrow. In this Texas heat that's a life saver! Highly recommend Rescue Air and Andrew for all things AC! Our service person Aaron Buckley was fantastic! I was able to arrange for same day service. Aaron was courteous, respectful, professional and got straight to the problem. He didn't try to sell me a membership or vent cleaning. He simply fixed the problem and counseled me on what to do next. The appointment was less than 30 minutes and I would highly recommend them :)

One of my thermostats went dead last night.  We've had this same problem before- no power to the thermostat, so nothing on the screen and no heat or a/c.  When this happened last year (in the middle of August of course) we called Rescue Air, primarily because ofYelp reviews.  They came out promptly and replaced a transformer which fixed the problem.  It was obvious that the current problem was the same as last year.  Called Rescue Air this morning and they were able to get to us by mid-afternoon.  The repair guy, Joe, was quick to find the problem and get it fixed.  He even added a fuse so the problem wouldn't happen again.  He checked the rest of the wiring to the transformer.  He also went out and cleaned up some of the wiring on the a/c unit outside.  I knew the transformer would be covered under their repair warranty but I was wondering what all this extra service would cost.  Joe pleasantly surprised me when he said there was no charge for anything today.  I've never been pleasantly surprised by an a/c repair guy before!  I'll be calling Rescue Air and requesting they send Joe out to do our regular Spring inspection on both of our systems very soon.

My AC stopped blowing cold and I am not one that likes to get hot. I called and the tech, Cassi, was at my house within 24 hours. She was extremely knowledgeable and offered me several options. Low and behold, it wasn't a huge issue but she was honest and I fully trust this company. The tech was a pleasure to work with and I know she had my best interest in mind. I would highly recommend this company. They have top notch communication as well.

I was also sold a unit by Jordan 2 years ago. He had me so worried i was  going to wake up in a pool of water I had to sign the line for an $18,000 unit. Ive had more issues with this unt than id like to remember. It now out of warranty and i had to put more freon in it.  The people are nice tho. Especially when your buying a $20k unit.

The technician was brilliant.  In all of the service that I have had with various technicians regarding my AC over the years he was the best.  I have recently learned from experience that the home warranty company I previously dealt with did the bare minimum in maintaining my system.  The service that I received today was well worth me going outside of my home warranty service.

My AC in my condo has been an issue for the past 7 years I've lived here. I've met just about every AC contractor in town over the years, trying to fully understand what the best option was for my unit. EVERYONE I talked to gave me a different answer. I heard everything from replacing it with an 8 year old used outdoor unit, to compressors couldn't be purchased, to that they could be purchased at the cost of $3000, to replacing all units would require pulling out my foundation to replace the lines.

These contractors have been all over the spectrum from good and well meaning to the guy who told me he was clean off heroin for 4 years but he had to borrow a friends car to get to my place to inspect because his girlfriend wrecked his truck the night before getting a DWI. A couple of them tried to get me to participate in multi level marketing businesses. Whatever... Anyway, I had almost lost hope and had literally lived without AC for a month while I tried to figure out whether to repair or replace and who I should get to do the work.

I set up several more appointments back to back on the Saturday of a holiday weekend. Rescue Air answered their phones and their staff was fantastic. I explained the deluge of problems I'd had and my frustrations and they promised they would send out their Senior Technician.  When that plan got scrapped, they called me back and told me one of the Owners himself would be coming to appraise my AC.

Michael arrived very quickly and spent a great deal of time helping me understand what my options were, why some of the previous contractors made the recommendations they did. He knew some of the AC contractors I had worked with and he was clearly very knowledgeable and experienced. He gave me a quote for exactly what I wanted and it was the most reasonable quote I'd received in the many years I'd been struggling with this. We scheduled his team to come out the Tuesday after Memorial Day.

His team showed up on time and ready to go. They did a quick job of what I would consider to be a pretty intensive job replacing both my indoor and outdoor units. The inside furnace sat on a shelf that was barely holding together, so one of the guys was kind enough to cut an existing piece of plywood I had and secured it to the closet reinforcing the shelf. They were kind and quick, and they were sure not to leave a huge mess. They showed me how to use my new thermostat and even helped me get it set up on the app so I could utilize the geofence (cooling/heating only when my phone is in a 3 mile proximity of my home).

Michael and his team were fantastic! Michael texted me updates and has worked with me to secure the financing I needed. He even recommended a fantastic plumber (NTX Plumbing, I left a review there also) who was able to work around the AC team to fix some plumbing issues connected to the AC.

After 7 years of headaches, frustration, inappropriate comments, and getting gouged on prices, Rescue Air was an oasis in a desert. I am beyond grateful for Michael and his team and I will absolutely use them and recommend them to others for any AC needs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thanks Rescue Air!

We have been using these guys for the last few years and they are fantastic. Yesterday our AC unit stopped working and I called them for a service call. Roman came out within two hours and was extremely helpful. The unit was frozen, so he said it would need to thaw out before he can really assess what the issue was.  Therefore, he came out a second time today, but waived the service fee from yesterday. As I expected, we need to replace our unit. It's pretty old and we have been doing patchwork for the last few years. Roman is a extremely knowledgeable in his field and thoroughly explained all our options.  Doing one last patch job while we prepare to replace our unit was best for us. Our AC was blowing but no cold air and air pressure was very low.

Roman saved the day! Rescue Air TX deserves the rating they have on here. They dispatched on a Sunday, did NOT charge a 'Sunday fee' like my plumber did in the past, arrived right when they said they would and went straight to work diagnosing our problem. Our technician was Roman, he was courteous, respectful, knowledgeable, and detailed. He helped me understand what his diagnosis was an WHY he ended up there. Showed me how to have a properly functioning AC and maintain it over time. Roman really went above and beyond what I would have ever asked. I will always call Roman if I ever have an AC issue...he's got 25 years of experience and has worked on over 20,000 homes.

100% recommend Rescue Air TX. They will take care of you and not just say looks like we need to replace it and then slap you with an invoice.

I had the pleasure of working with Marianne and Blake. Marianne was so friendly and upbeat when scheduling the  appointment there's no way I could say no. When Blake showed up he explained the entire process and what would happen. Within two minutes he found the problem and gave me an estimate and ensured my other unit was properly functioning.. Unfortunately dropping the rating from 5 to 3 based on recent experience.  I have bought two AC's from them and been on a service plan since they created it.  Lately their business must be booming because we can't seem to match schedules.  Either they give a time and miss it or don't give a time and call late in the day pushing into family dinner.  I take some responsibility for not requesting a specific window like I do with everyone else, but I never had to in the past.  I will adjust to the new way going forward. Meaning I still recommend them, but also might get comp bid next time.

We have an old home with an old AC unit so we've had to use Rescue Air a couple of times. They are always our company of choice due to how professional they are. Today, Roman came to our rescue due to our AC not being able to keep up with the Texas heat. He was so friendly and professional. He was able to clearly explain what was wrong with our unit and gave options of what we might need to do in the future. It didn't take him long to fix our current issue and now I'm sitting in my living room and enjoying our working air conditioner! Before finding rescue air, we had called another large company who told us the only option was to replace the unit for a large price. We decided to get a second opinion and called rescue air and they were able to fix the problem without having to recommend a new unit. I love how honest and professional they are. Highly recommend!! We've had service with Rescue Air since 2018 and have always been very happy with their responsiveness and quality of service. When we learned they merged with a plumbing company, we made note to give them a try if ever the need arose. I noticed our water heater leaking, called to schedule service & they had Seyi & Adrian out within an hour. After reviewing our options, we decided to replace with a tankless unit, but the technicians made a repair that ensured we had hot water until they returned the next day to complete a new installation. Seyi & Adrian did an awesome job. They answered all my questions, worked for hours without a break, left the work area as clean or cleaner than they found it & were very respectful. We plan to add plumbing maintenance to our monthly plan & are thankful we have such a great company to call on when needed.

Had a semi emergency because of the hvac dripping thru my ceiling... the tech located the issue at the outside compressor and said the attic unit was a block of ice that needed to be melted so he started that process MEANWHILE the attic unit was throwing off tons of water while he was outside working on the compressor. If I hadn't noticed the tons of water (3 containers that I had empty every 20m!) my ceiling would had been destroyed. When I paid him (Pretty sure I was overcharged... every task cost $275 plus the$99 initial visit charge) the third page was letting me know that they were not responsible for water damage. Yeah! That was clear! Jerks

Just as the Dallas heat wave started we our downstairs a/c stopped working. As long-time (~6 years) subscription clients of Rescue Air we have been happy with their regular maintenance service. The exceptional service we received by Roman is a perfect example of that happiness.

I came home from work on Friday and the thermostat was black and downstairs hot. Not a good a good combination as the first heat wave of the summer started. Called for an appointment first thing Saturday morning and we were added to the queue. Marianne from the office team kept us apprised by text of our place in line, gave me a Next in Line text and call and then when our tech was finished gave me a call to let me know. First plus is getting a tech out on a Saturday just ~4 hours after I called on probably the hottest Saturday of the year so far.

When Roman arrived he was pleasant and professional when introducing himself and listening to what the situation was. We were preparing for an afternoon pool party and 30 guests so while I went around by business, Roman went to work identifying and fixing our problem.  Roman kept us updated with his status while he was working and got us back up and running. Working in a hot attic on a Saturday seemed not to affect Roman at all - he was jovial, shared a few jokes and stories while we did our best to keep him hydrated with H20.

Our air conditioner went out on us on a Friday night (of course!). The next morning we called our regular company which had a voicemail saying it's only open M-F.  So we called Rescue Air based on reviews.  The receptionist assured me someone would be out that day, and called when they were on their way.  They also texted a picture of the technician.  Roman was very friendly and professional.  He managed to get our air conditioner running temporarily.  It needed to be replaced so he took time to sit down with us and educate us to make the best choice for our situation.  He and the office staff were friendly, helpful and prompt.

They came out the next day to repair A/C.  Roman did an excellent job. On time, professional and friendly.  Really good guy.  Only thing Is Price, which is not set by Roman.  They charged Me $378 to replace 1 capacitor.  It's about a $50 part and I've had another company in the area replace it for $250, all in. So, $378 is too expensive.  But what can you do when it's 97 degrees and you need to get it done.

They had HORRIBLE news for me! I still have to give them 5 stars though. I went to their website and gave an online chat person my info and was called probably not even 10 minutes later. Probably an hour later, Gary showed up at my house. He opened up my unit and immediately told me my 15 year old unit needed to be replaced b/c my compressor was shot. Disappointing news but Gary was VERY PROFESSIONAL and thorough and gave me my options as far as replacing the unit. I would definitely recommend Rescue AC. I'm gonna elect just to get some window units for now but still, I was very satisfied with Rescue AC's customer service and professionalism. I recommend.

I called at 8:30 and a person picked up and immediately scheduled service that day!  Two professional and personable techs arrived within a few hours.  They assessed and fixed the problem within 30 min.!  This company carries most parts in their truck.  The cost was very reasonable.  I'd recommend looking into their service plan, but they will definitely do a great job on a one time emergency issue!  Thanks to Joe and Ryan!  Great job, Guys!

Roman is great. He knows the work, has obviously been doing it a long time. He knows the advantages and disadvantages of different types of systems (even the new mini-splits), and the different types of thermostats. My a/c was limping along and not working, we talked about how to get it going again, and the points of repairing the old vs buying new. He knows his work, and works well with customers, especially explaining everything that is going on. I'd be very comfortable working with him and rescue air again, and will recommend him to friends and colleagues who need service a/c help.

Great service from booking through job completion.  My AC stopped working, so I made an appointment for the next morning, but it started working again, so I cancelled.  Then it broke again of course a couple days later.  My new appointment was the next day, and Kimberly gave me several 2-hour arrival windows to choose from.  Roman arrived on time and got to work.  It turned out my issue was a minor electrical wiring issue that was an easy fix, and the pleasantly-surprising cost reflected that.   Roman gave me a couple pointers to make sure the system worked smoothly and mentioned possible future work that could help extend its life, but he didn't pressure me to do anything immediately or buy any other products or services.  I would recommend and plan to call them first for any future AC work I need.

Not what I expected or was promised.  Technician in a marked company vehicle came out and explained we needed a new a/c unit, promised licensed techs with company id and background checks would install the new unit and would balance the air between rooms.  The cost was pretty damned high for a 2 ton unit but I figured worth it with the red carpet treatment we were promised.  That's where things went downhill.  Two technicians in unmarked beat up vehicles showed up at my house to do the replacement.  They had no id, one spoke little to no English, and the other spoke limited English.  They were not dressed in company uniforms or anything else.  Never saw a supervisor or anybody I could for sure say worked for the company.  They mostly cleaned up but left a conduit with wires in it and some other trash outside.  The condenser unit outside was supposed to be brand new but was installed with gouges in the paint that go down to the metal on top of the unit so I'm sure that will start rusting in no time.  Had this been a cheaper company with a relatively inexpensive cost I would have expected these results but considering how much was paid for this unit I'm really not very satisfied.  I was torn between 2 or 3 stars and decided on 3 as in the end I do have a working a/c unit even if the install did no go as promised or expected.

Just had a fantastic experience with Rescue Air Heating & Cooling. I had called late afternoon on a Saturday to schedule an appointment...my system had stopped cooling (always on a weekend right?) and it was 87 in the house. They assured me someone would be out on Sunday. They kept me apprised via text throughout the day as to where I was on the service call list. Then I received an actual phone call from the office when the service tech was on his way. My service tech, Dean Dyslin, was professional, knowledgeable, friendly (and wore a mask and shoe covers), and took the time to explain the situation and my options thoroughly.  I will be using this company for my regular service checks from now on, and will be requesting Dean.

Firstly, i called AirTron as they installed the HVAC in my 2 year old home and was told the warranty would not cover fixing the issue (without even knowing the root cause). I was disappointed by their customer service and their unwillingness to understand what we were experiencing.

Went to yelp to find a company that had good review and found Rescue Air. Sent a message through yelp and the owner (Joshua) messages me back promptly asking for further information. My call was handled by Kimberly and she was very understanding and respectful. She took her time to understand the issue i was experiencing. She scheduled  a technician the next day.

I get a call from Kimberly confirming that the tech would be at my home soon. She also worked with my schedule to ensure i was home during the maintenance. Justin (Technician) showed up to my house in time. He listened to the issue i was experiencing and quickly diagnosed the root cause. The plenum that controlled the air distribution had a big hole. I called AirTron and explained the issue with Justin's help to see if they had warranty on the workmanship. Their response was a very rude NO. Justin was able to fix the issue quickly and restore the heat at our home. He took his time and explained the fix. We also went ahead with club membership.

Rescue Air did a great job quickly assessing our heating issue and making the necessary repair! Our heater went out on Saturday, Dean promptly arrived at our house, he was courteous and through in his assessment. The igniter was out and he didn't have the part, however, he was able to partially get some heat back to us and let us know he'd be back first thing Monday to complete the repair. He arrived Monday like promised and had the heater up and running within 15 minutes. We're so grateful for Rescue Airs prompt response and ability to get our heater back to normal in a timely manner at a reasonable price. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to others!

We had a plumbing emergency where the main drain for the entire house was clogged. We were unable to flush any of the toilets, etc.

Rescue Air Heating, Cooling and Plumbing was able to fit us in the same day and solve the issue, at a reasonable price. They had high-tech camera equipment to run through the pipes under the house, to diagnose the areas that had issues and needed replacement (our house is 60+ years old and some of the pipes had disintegrated over that time).

So they were able to diagnose both the immediate problem and how to solve it long-term so it wouldn't happen again. I was very impressed with this company and in particular with the professionalism of the technician (Tyler H.)

This company was so professional. They reached out as soon as I put an inquiry in yelp, which is very rare to find in my neighborhood.

Tyler was on point and presented several different options at no point that I feel pressured to do anything. The prices turned out to be more reasonable than I expected. He identified the problem and solved it within 30 minutes I don't know about you but that's my idea of a good plumbing company. Some of that can come in fix stuff at a reasonable price and get out.

We called the company after good reviews on Yelp to inspect the issue on our HVAC furnace system not turning ON. They responded to the call at 7pm evening and were very responsive to understand the issue and sent the technician very next day. They called 1 hour before scheduled window of arrival.
Joe and one more member arrived on time and were professional. They inspected the system and quickly fixed the issue.

I have had an incredibly positive experience with ResxueAir. They installed two new units, serviced my old units, and cleaned our vents. The people who have come to my house, have been extremely friendly, professional, and are clear, subject matter experts I would recommend them for service and for installations.

I have tried their plumbing business which was acquired, and I did not have as good an experience with that part of their business. They were very professional and courteous, but really struggled to address our problems.

With any good Texas summer, comes the Texas heat. Heat that my HVAC system decided to stop fighting on Saturday. True to their word, the Rescue Air team were able to send someone out within 24 hours of my call and diagnose my problem.

The technician they sent, Roman, was very knowledgable and timely on finding a solution that got me out of the Texas heat and back into a cool house. Roman was great at communicating future needs of my HVAC unit, discussing what my options are, and expressing the ways the Rescue team would be able to assist in the future.

Rescue Air continues to send skilled, professional technicians to help with all my HVAC needs. I have been a club member with Rescue Air for over a year, and after todays visit I will continue doing business with them.

I was a customer since 2020 through a continuous monthly plan, which you pay like 15-20 bucks a month and they do two scheduled visit a year. I have two units in the house and I think it is a good deal.
First maintenance check was in summer, the tech came on time and did a thorough job checking two units in 90 min.
Melvin came to my house for the second checkup 6-month later. He was really knowledgeable on everything about the job. He is also super friendly and agrees to put on mask and shoe cover without any problem. The whole process was stress free since he did not really try to sell me anything that I feel is not necessary(my unit is 2-yr old).
They do get busy sometime and actually missed my winter check-up date twice, and I was kind of upset because of it but Melvin totally saved the day.

It's going to freeze outside tonight.  We're having a birthday party for my one year old and the heater won't fire up.  Michael from Rescue HVAC came within a hour and diagnosed a significant need for repair, and the part isn't readily available.  It started working spontaneously after he hit it with a screwdriver a few times.  He didn't even charge a trip fee since he wasn't able to fix it permanently today, and the house is warm for now.  He gave me some honest information on a more permanent fix as well as new replacement options in the future.  He is as honest and helpful as the day is long.  I will be using Rescue for all future repairs as well as our future replacement system.

I've been a loyal customer of Rescue Air for 10+ years. Since then, they've installed new Lennox systems in my house, my Mom's house and my son's house. They are consistently prompt, professional and the communication is exceptional. Johnny scheduled my appointment yesterday afternoon and was helpful, accomplished and friendly. He let me know I was scheduled for the following day and I'd receive a call when the technician was on the way. This morning, I got a call from George in the office (who is always so nice and efficient) letting me know the technician was on his way to me and would arrive in about 30-40 minutes.  At the same time, I got a text message with a photo of the technician. Right on time, Roman Arnold arrived and got to work diagnosing the cause of some minor issues with my system's cooling and he identified the problem within 15 minutes.  He got right to fixing the issue and had me back up and running in no time!  As I write this review, it's been about 7 hours since he left and the temperature in the house is still holding cool and steady exactly as it was when he left and the outside temp is now approaching the high 90's.  I can't say enough good things about these folks and I highly recommend Rescue Air and Plumbing!

Rescue Air is the best of the best. I love the professional, friendly service I receive from everyone within their organization. They are savvy with communicating, and I appreciate the convenient text reminders and notifications that let me know when the tech will arrive. They helped me when my air went out in the midst of the heat wave and even fixed the nest thermostat that had been improperly installed by the company I purchased it from (at no extra cost). Dual review here for plumbing and HVAC. In April 2022, Alexander came in to service a leak in my attic identified from a previous visit regarding my drip pan and my HVAC system. Just like Zac he was friendly and attentive. The fix was quick and Alex taught me how to maintain the rest of my pipes for the rest of the year. Superb follow up appointment.

06/23/2022 I called Rescue Air because my AC stopped working the day before. Jordan Maraggia came in to service the issue. Right off the bat, as per usual, Rescue Air always sends polite and professional technicians. Jordan introduced himself and outlined exactly what he was going to do. He ran his diagnostics and explained to me his findings. My outdoor unit fan had stopped running but he identified a larger problem with my indoor unit springing a leak. I appreciated the fact that he didn't just focus on a bandaid fix to rely on additional service calls. I walked away with a more permanent solution to upgrade my HVAC system. While I am not someone who likes being sold to, my experience with Rescue Air has been impeccable. I put my faith in Rescue Air and their tech's and have no issues with their recommendations. Jordan took the time to explain the different upgrade options and really considered what was important to me. The big take away is that Jordan worked with me every step of the way and really ensured I understood what I was getting and how much I was paying. Jordan is a solid guy who really knows his stuff. They even waived my service call fee and associated work for the day since they'll be back tomorrow to replace the whole system!

Gentleman who was here was very personable, but after he left I felt pretty fleeced on pricing. I had just bought a home and wanted basic service performed, as I did not know the last time the HVAC had been serviced.

Signed up for their monthly membership, but they did not give me a membership rate at the time for the service I had done.

After I had paid and mentioned I wanted to have my ducts cleaned-- which I paid for at the time, I had to call them to schedule it--they never bothered to call me. And when I attempted to schedule it, after having already paid, they informed me they did not have availability for nearly a month to complete the task.

They also charged me:
--$200 to replace ~5 feet of thermostat wire. (from the AC unit to the exterior wall)
--$1000+ for duct cleaning which took them only 2 hours to complete and left debris all over my home. They used a glorified shop vac for this, but also never cleaned out either of my cold air return vents. Despite them having a shop vac for this, they didn't clean up the debris that came out of the vents after turning the air back on either.
--$700+ to add 3 lbs of refrigerant and leak seal.
--$474 to clean both blower wheels--this was the closest cost to seeming reasonable, based on the labor/time spent.

I had a newborn in the house and he was able to set me up with a temporary fix right away to cool the house down for my little one while he worked on getting me scheduled for the permanent fix. The technician was professional and got the job done, but I feel the services were way overpriced. He was here less than 20 minutes and the bill was nearly $500. After pricing the parts online myself, they came out to about $75 for the two. $425 for 20 minutes of labor is excessive.

After a lot of back and forth, the owner of the company personally contacted me.  He came for a service call with a tech and made part changes and modifications, which have made things better.  Am changing the rating to a 4 given the personal involvement and service recovery.  The whole installation did not go as expected and there were several communication failures between service techs.  I understand things can go wrong and Rescue Air went out of the way to make things right, which is greatly appreciated.  And no, this review was not bought.  It is purely based on an effort by the owner to do what was right.

I had a water heating system that broke down all of a sudden like many home owners do experience. Mine happened one evening and everyone was paranoid due to cold weather in February, and I picked this company after requesting a quote from yelp. They were very quick to respond and looked at my issue and gave me an over the top estimates which I cld not afford. I did called the next company that responded to my request and they came out the next day. Gave me an estimate that was reasonable, changed everything as new.

This company has a great reputation customer support team and the young man that came over my place was a gentleman, explained all the information and tried his best to help but cld only do it as was told by his company policy.

I do appreciate their response time but will not recommend them due to some of their overwhelming higher quotes to rip home owners out.

Here in Richardson house sitting while my daughter and family are out of town.  Yesterday the A/C quit and the house rapidly heated up.  I had no idea who to call.  I did a google search and Rescue Air had lots of 5 star ratings.  Normally i don't pay a lot of attention to internet ratings but decided to take a chance.  A very good decision.  Kimberly was the first person I talked to and she said she would send a technician within 30 minutes.  25 minutes later Albert R showed up and took charge of the situation.  He quickly and professionally diagnosed the problem, explained the fix and the cost.  Very shortly later we had A/C back on line.  I was very impressed with Albert and Rescue Air for their customer service, explanation of the problem and very reasonable cost.  In addition when he saw the condition of the filter he sent another tech out to replace the filter.  This was done with no additional cost.  I recommend Rescue Air very highly.  If you talk to Kimberly ask her to send Albert R.  He's a pro.

My air conditioner stopped working, and of course it happened on a Friday night, after business hours, and the first hot weekend in May.  I checked around for a repair company that offers weekend service.  After a bit of searching I found Rescue Air in Yelp and requested service around 11:30 on Saturday.  At first I was told they could schedule me for Monday due to the number of calls they had received, so I was pleasantly surprised when I received a text a couple of hours later stating that I was on the schedule for today (Saturday).  A few hours later Blake Killgo arrived to check my a/c unit.  Blake was very friendly and knowledgeable.  He took time to explain what he was checking and answered all of my questions.  Thank you Rescue Air for the same day service and for sending Blake.  Hopefully I can request Blake next time I need service.

I like how the business owner replied and emphasized in such a cocky way about their service but mentioned nothing about price gouging on Sealant and refrigerant. Sure, you need a license to purchase refrigerant, but it does not mean you need to charge 10x more on customers. Just do a cursory online search will give you all the numbers. And what about the sealant that you also charged 10x more? Anything to say about that? All pricings are out there as transparent as it is.

And i am sure your 10 other competitors will sit down together and the other 7 will acknowledge they are charging more than you do so they will get less business. And by your logic, if charging more means better service, i will beg you to share the names of the other 7 competitors so we can get better service, if you don't mind. Also share their numbers too just to prove your point! Thank you!

I called Rescue Air for a second opinion to assess my set up and offer my options for repair and replace.

Gary Sparks was my technician. He was very polite, professional but not arrogant or acted condescendingly at any time. He looked at the outside unit, did some electrical tests and explained why he was doing so as well as what the tests meant.

Next he asked if he could see the unit in the attic. He examined it and once again explained what he was looking at and why he was doing what he was doing.

I took him as bottle water and we ended up talking at the curb by his truck for close to an hour and 20 mins. We had an in depth conversation about the range of my options - continue to repair or replacement specifics. At NO TIME was there an ounce of sales pitch/pressure/hard sell. Gary -once again - was very patient and extremely thorough in answering my questions; out lining potential rebates and describing their replacement process (and suggested I watch the video on their website for further confirmation).

After reviewing my replacement options - single stage, multi-stage and variable speed/stage - it generated another round of questions which Gary was great at addressing. We got into the pros & cons of different brands even down to the location of their suppy chain - which may seem trivial until your unit breaks down and you need a part. Certain manufacturers have local warehouses for OEM parts vs waiting on a boat to deliver your part - the latter is not ideal in the month of August!

IMO, the owners should take solace Gary is a tremendous ambassador for their company.  Gary have me his card and even extended the invitation to call him at any time if I had any questions after he left - who does that these days?!

If for whatever reason I don't use R.A., I will recommend them to any who asks me about an AC service company!!
You can't go wrong w R.A. - heck even ask for Gary!!

We had a new A/C system installed in December of 2018, and our A/C compressor recently went out. We called the company that installed the new system to see if it was covered under warranty. That company told us the part was covered but the labor to replace the compressor was going to cost almost $2,000 alone. The warranty on the labor was only 12 months, when industry standard is 24 months. Despite the part only being 4 months past an already shorter-than-industry labor warranty, they refused to honor it. We tried to call the owner of the company, but he did not return our call. So, we started calling around for better options. When we called Rescue Air we found that fast and fair with your repair is an understatement.

When the Rescue Air service technician, Jordan Wiggens, showed up, he was friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. He went the extra mile to help us out by putting in a call to the owner. The owner, Michael, returned my call immediately and made multiple phone calls himself trying to right the wrongs of our previous A/C company. Michael ended up offering a same day replacement because, as he said I don't want your baby sweating through the night. Then the Rescue Air installer, Erick Sandoval, left another job site (over an hour away) early to ensure we wouldn't have to sleep another night in the Texas heat. Rescue Air ended up installing a whole new A/C unit (instead of just replacing the compressor) for less than our previous company was going to charge us just for labor on the compressor replacement.

I can't recommend Rescue Air enough! We will be a customer for life. We had a maintenance program with our previous A/C company and we immediately switched over our routine preventative maintenance to Rescue Air. They were personable, reliable, and professional.

My A/C fan stopped turning although the motor was working (malfunctioning capacitor) but it was Saturday morning when I needed help. First I tried another company with a five-star rating that was supposed to be open for 24 hours, but no one was answering the phone. So then I tried Rescue Air, another company with high ratings, and a very nice lady answered my call and promised me someone would be at my home soon. I assumed it would be around 4:00pm before anyone showed, but true to reputational form, someone came before noon. I was so grateful, as it was nearly 90 in the house and had been this hot for the last 12 hours. Roman was ever so courteous and generous, and very quickly took care of the problem. In less than 20 minutes, cool air was coming into the house. What a wonderful person and such professional service from this company! These people are like family. I would not go anywhere else after such a great experience with this kind of service. Thank you Folks so much!

Joe came out and looked at my problem. After determining it was more of a plumbing issue he got some suggestions and was able to use the emergency drain on my tub to get to the clogged line that was keeping my AC from draining. Last time this happened it was $2000 pipe replacement. Thanks to Joe, the clog was cleared for the cost of a service call.

Rescued by Rescue Air all thanks to Matthew Jacob! A few weeks ago our hot water heater decided to stop working and it took me a few days before I could figure out whether it was electrical or simply malfunctioning. I was stuck until I called Rescue Air and Matthew showed up. He was on time, friendly, knowledgeable, polite and most importantly figured out what was wrong. It took Matthew a second trip but after helping me order the correct new unit, he spent almost a full day in my attic installing it with expert precision (August in Texas is no joke, but being in an attic is unbearable). Matthew still had a smile on his face after completing the job with ease and walked me through everything. Not only did he save us from going another week having to take cold showers, but provided exceptional customer service and successfully made me a Rescue Air customer for life. My family's Air Conditioning unit went out on one of the hottest days in Texas (107°). Roman Arnold was our technician that came out and serviced us. Not only was he efficient with his work and very detailed in his explanation of what was wrong with our unit, he also was very thorough with how we could prevent mishaps in the future. It was very comforting to know that he was a very honest and a person with integrity. They sent Alex to my home today to look over things because I have a check up plan and he recommended a few products such as the UV sanitation system and I have asthma so that was very recommended for me... He was done with installing that unit within the hour and everything were great... He also installed a nest thermostat which I can control from my phone and it looked very nice and he took the time to show me how to use everything and even to set it up on my phone... Overall, the communication, professionalism and courtesy of Rescue Air was very good...the contractors assigned for our installation were competent, but lacking in communicating with the customers.  Examples include not relaying to us that they were taking a lunch break (totally acceptable, but when you leave the property, just let us know what is going on and when to expect them to return); there was a need to get into our attic - they did not inform us when it was no longer needed for access to the attic.  We had to ask them so we could close the doors and rearrange our garage back to what it was.  Nothing real big but just common courtesy...

Dean came over for a tune up service. We have a 20 year old AC unit, and he didn't try to sell us on upgrading, or with a ton of different maintenance issues. He offered to let me watch over his shoulder so we could come to conclusions together, but didn't feel like I needed to.

He was really professional, came in wearing booties, and brought a rug to make sure he didn't make a mess anywhere in my house. Dean also knew the ins and outs of his company. Being in sales myself, he did a great job selling the company, and showing the value of their membership...which we signed up for. Well worth it.

Called Rescue Air and Heating on Monday morning and Michael was at my house by 8:30am on Tuesday. Michael was very nice and professional. Didn't over complicate the problem and gave me a very simple and straightforward solution.

All billing and scheduling is done digitally so no more illegible carbon paper receipts. Swipe your credit card right in front of you. They also run great specials so watch out for them on the web. Michael was kind enough to inform me of a special that would get me more service for less money even though I felt the original estimate was very fare.

So glad I found Rescue Air and Heating they're the only company I'll be calling from now on.

I had just assembled a natural gas grill and needed someone over within hours to connect the line before friends were coming over.  I'd probably blow up the house if I tried myself.   I sent a request out to Yelp and RA&P responded immediately, were able to meet my short window, and took care of it in a flash.  The techs were really nice guys.  I do have a regular plumber, but he wasn't available, so I was very, very pleased with RA&P's availability.  They got the job done before any other plumbing company even responded to my fanned-out request.  

The reason for 3 stars is the price was, IMHO, ludicrous.  The initial quote was around $500 and the tech brought it down to $290.  Very nice of him, and I could hear in his voice even he was thinking it was a high fee for the general gas appliance connection charge applying to this particularly simple and quick situation, but there wasn't much more he could do and I paid nearly as much for the hook-up as I did the grill itself.  For that alone, I wouldn't go with them again out of fear of their other service charges.  

But again, very quick to respond, very nice guys, and they saved my night.

Our A/C stopped working during Sunday nights storm. Rescue was able to send someone out the next morning. Chase Lowe arrived and quickly diagnosed the issue. He explained it in a way that made sense to someone unfamiliar with HVAC systems and completed all of the work exactly as described, while going the extra mile to tidy up after himself. I know that should go without saying, but it's not the case with all technicians that enter your home.

Rescue sent a notice of the companies commitment to COVID precautions and Chase adhered to everyone of them. Thank you for keeping us cool during the hottest time of the year!

I searched in Yelp for Air Duct Cleaning for my HVAC System and I called Rescue Air Heating and Cooling and the technician Chase Lowe was very good in dealing with all the furnace and the coil components of the HVAC and checked every minute parts of the system to make sure that everything is alright. He was a real professional in dealing with these HVAC systems and was very courteous. He even checked the condensers, which were installed outside our house and made sure that all the systems are working fine, with the connectivity from Furnaces to the Condensers. We had two systems and he checked both the systems thoroughly. He referred some changes to the Air Filter compartment and also the furnace, which we are planning to go ahead with.

I'm thankful to Rescue Air Heating for having got my HVAC checked and would recommended to my neighbors and friends.

Very happy with my HVAC unit diagnostic. Alan Taylor arrived RIGHT on time. Though I don't care if anyone wears a mask or not, he did and also wore shoe covers. He went over the results in detail, made some honest recommendations and gave me various options. No sales pressure from him which I appreciate. We had an older HVAC unit replaced.  I called Rescue Air based on very positive YELP reviews.  The owner, Michael Hirsh, came to my house within an hour on a Saturday.  He gave us options which included repairing the older until to a complete system replacement.  We elected for the replacement and so far so good.  Rescue Air has done everything they promised.

I would highly recommend Rescue Air! Unlike many companies, they were happy to provide service on a weekend. Jason was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem - while also educating me about our system - and laid out several solutions to resolve the problem. My home is having A/C problems and after a quick very personable call with Mary Ann (she was a GREAT first impression) we soon after set up a same day consultation. Roman came out to take a look at my unit, and I'll admit I am very much not knowledgeable about HVAC. Roman was very professional, but the best part was him taking the time to explain everything that he found with the unit and break it down into layman terms for me when I had questions. I have used this company twice - two different techs but great, friendly, same day service both times.  This week was a wiring issue - outside wire to AC had been chewed and AC would not turn on.  It was fixed in 15 minutes and I only paid a service call fee.  I live in Grapevine, so recommend this company across the metroplex.

Roman arrived at my home within the timeframe provided by a phone call (believe her name is Denise/Debra, she was so friendly!) and from the start, I was so impressed. He is so courteous, friendly, easy to talk to, professional and SO KNOWLEDGABLE! Roman walked me through the entire process, it wasn't rushed, he took the time to thoroughly answer all my questions and even provided information that I didn't even know I needed!

I didn't feel pressured to make a decision. He discussed all my options in great detail and ensured I understood all the various steps and overall process.

Roman was a pleasure to work with, I will definitely be referring this amazing company and specifically Roman - he is incredible and Rescue Air should be very proud and honored to have him as an employee!

Don't be fooled by the reviews here like I was, working with Rescue Air has been awful. Three times we've called on them for repairs to our HVAC system, and all three times they've not only failed to fix the issues they were contracted to do, they've caused several others. Simply put, their workmanship is rushed and is shoddy and their pricing is significantly higher than other companies who do the same thing. I'm willing to pay a premium for good service and products, but paying outrageous prices for bad workmanship and a worse experience is one mistake I will not be making again. If you have the choice to work with any other company, do it.

Earlier this year we had issues with our furnace going out. A repair technician came out to fix it, but it continued going out after he had left. A second company came out to asses it and realized that they had simply not put the door back on properly which was causing the issue. Simple solution, but overlooked by Rescue Air.

More recently, we called them to perform annual maintenance on our AC units which are admittedly old. They assured us that their repairs would make our system work better but couldn't guarantee for how long. It turned out to be less than 8 hours. That night, our motor died causing our house to get up to 80 degrees inside. Seems odd that a technician comes out to make repairs and then everything falls apart, right? Highly suspicious timing.

They then sent out a second technician to reassess the damage. For $4,000 they could fix it again but wouldn't guarantee a timeline. At a minimum they recommended blowing out the pans so they wouldn't overflow and cause even more issues. I came home to find that they had blown the pans out with such force that it destroyed the pipes in the secondary drain which happens to be in my kid's bathroom. Now we're hiring a plumber to fix the damage they caused.

The problem with Rescue Air is that it's all a facade. They have a great website, great marketing, they're high tech, and the people seem nice. But at the end of the day their workmanship is poor and the experience of working with them has been abysmal. Don't be like me and fall for the good reviews that they demand of their customers, save yourself the money and the headaches and find another vendor who will give you the care you deserve and pricing that won't hurt your pocketbook.

TLDR: Their reviews are great, but don't be fooled by the good marketing. They're expensive, their workmanship is shoddy, and the overall experience is not good.

I wouldn't use these guys just based on how one of their technicians was driving. How big of a hurry are you in at 6:30 am? Check on the technician driving from west bound George Bush to Southbound Central on 5/3. Why would you drive like a jerk when you have the name of your company plastered all over the vehicle? Just speaks to the way the company is probably run.

During this crazy hot Texas summer, looking and realizing the A/C is running non-stop yet the temperature is CLIMBING is not what anyone wants to see! I called Rescue Air and Joe was at my house within 2 hours of my initial call. Quick and HONEST diagnosis (lesson learned...replace air filter after having drywall work done ). Learned about a home air purification system without a majorly pushy pitch (and something I'm going to end up moving forward with a bit later).

Jordan and Andrew came out the same day to fix the broken a/c at our place in Dallas. They were lifesavers and were able to diagnose and fix my extremely old unit to working condition which I wasn't sure would be possible. I cannot recommend this company highly enough.  I called and asked them to come out and give me a second opinion on my heating units after Milestone Electric gave me an outrageous quote of $6600 to repair my units (never had a service call, issue with either heater and serviced twice a year).   They came out that day, took their time to look things over, showed me what they were doing and gave me a quote on some work that they recommended in the future.   I had another company come out and look and they were spot on with Rescue Air's results and recommendations.  Thank you to Joe Kronenwetter for a job well done.  I have also recommended you on FB and on my Next Door Neighbor boards.

they unclogged the problem. maybe I should've listened to the other plumbers that insisted on a quote before the job. if that was what we did, it might have cost us less. we didn't want that because we have a baby. but it only took them 15 minutes to unclog the sink, because the drain was fine. word to the wise, check your problems on YouTube before you shell out for an on call visit.

9/6/2022- requested an estimate from the company. They called me right away and were able to get a plumber out the same day. They sent Tyler who was wonderful to work with. He understood the problem and explained all the various reasons that could be causing it. He explained where to start to diagnose the problem from the least severe case to the most severe case. He did not pressure me to make any discussion and left me with a lot of good information to review with other estimates I get. He even went as far as to say if I have questions with other estimates he is happy to answer my question. It's wonderful to have that experience with Tyler because it really felt like he cared about me as a customer and my home and not just saying things to win a business. I really appreciated his politeness. Rescue Air you have hired a good guy that will bring you lots of customers.

Roman came out almost instantly when our AC unit went out today. It was very comforting in Texas August heat to be seen so quickly. He was very helpful and informative on all of our options. Every bit of the process has been great. We were referred to Rescue Air by Costco's home services. Everyone from sales, service, and installation were amazing to work with including Alexia Gallagher, Jordan Wiggins, and Jesus Zuniga.

We are really happy with our new Lennox XC20! She's quiet and can hardly hear it when she runs. Also we've noticed a difference in our power bill already. They replaced the entire HVAC and everything is now new and improved. They came on a Sunday were able to complete the job all in one day.

Their customer service has been great any time I've called asking questions. Even after service has been completed we've received thank you notes from Alexia and even a small thank you box from their main office.

There is also a membership program where they will remind you for maintenance on your unit regardless where it was purchased before.

I think everyone would be foolish to not call Rescue Air when needing HVAC services in DFW!

Our air went out over the 4th of July weekend. Rescue Air takes calls 7 days a week, so we were able to get someone out on Sunday morning. Michael was great. He diagnosed the issue and gave me a couple of options to choose from. The parts he needed weren't available on Sunday, so he patched the system to run cool again until he could get back to the house on Monday. He fixed the issue the next day.

The good: they responded very quickly and resolved the problem. Unfortunately for us the issue is that our system is end of life so the tech provided us with a quote for a new system.
The bad: was told there would be a $99 fee for the call and then the tech would review the repair costs with us. But what happened is he fixed it then stuck us with a $650 bill. Wasn't happy that we didn't talk upfront about the costs but I do appreciate they got the system up and running quickly. The quote that they provided was 150% more than other quotes that we had for the same exact system. The tech didn't even come inside to look at our unit in the attic whereas other companies walked through the house and reviewed the installation specifics so potential issues during install such as new supports for a larger unit were worked out.

I called Rescue Air when my air stopped working on a 100 degree day. They came promptly to fix it! The two technicians were Michael & Roman, they literally figured out what was wrong in under 5 minutes. They even checked the freon just to make sure it was full. Now I'm sittin in my house with a cool breeze blowing from my vents... I think penguins are coming out of my vents! Ha. THANKS RESCUE AIR!!!!! I would recommend you to anyone who asks me if I know an ac or heat company to use!!

My ac stopped working and called the company early in the morning around 8am hoping they could send someone out asap as I had small children at home. However it was 12pm and no one was available as there were appointments before me and was told a technician would come around 3 to 4 MORE hours so I just called another company and that company came in less than 1 hour to fix my AC. Very disappointed with the lack of urgency on their part!

UPDATE: About 8 days after writing this review(below) I got a call from Michael at Rescue Air. He apologized that someone didn't call me back. He stated they would try a different method to reply to customer inquirers in the future so this sort of thing didn't happen again. It was very kind of him to call and look into the matter.

I rely on Yelp and needing an AC Coil replacement for my elderly parents i called Rescue Air on 3/17/16. They took my message and assured me someone would get back to me the same day if not the next day. Guess what a week has passed and no return call yet. When I initially called them I just looked at the overall rating, but didn't dig deep. Now looking into the other low rated reviews you can see the same thing, no reply calls and the companies response was - we are digging deeper but just don't see it(the call). This is pattern. When customer service isn't priority, then imagine what happens after payment and the service call.  I wouldn't want this type reliability as my own AC servicer much less for my very elderly parents.

I've used Rescue Air a few times now and I am so impressed with their customer service. My A/C wasn't cooling and they sent someone out same day. They definitely cooled the house down in the hot Texas temps! I did have to wait for a part to be ordered but my A/C was still cooling as I waited. Their communication is on point as well! We had AIRTRON out 3 days prior to are ac going out ..for out summer maintenance...they said we needed freon that is it ..of course are ac goes out in July 4 th holiday and AIRTRON had no time for us ...but did not stop cortney ant rescue air ..he was amazing came out And with in 10 minutes said our pipe was frozen same thing we had AIRTRON fix in October they said we needed a coil $$$$ so we fixed ..buy Cortney came out and we found out we had a fan burnt out ..thank goodness for his honesty and quick response we quit AIRTRON service program that minute and signed with them .....

I can't say enough good things about Blake C. from Rescue Air. When my vintage condo HVAC system stopped blowing warm air 3 days before the temperature was going to slide into the 30s, he identified the faulty part, ordered a new one, and came back 2 days later to install it. In addition to his expertise with the old system, he was friendly, kind, and my cat absolutely adored him. I have definitely found my forever HVAC guy!

Roman provided swift service and demonstrated honest, high level knowledge and experience in assisting me in my HVAC issue. In the Old West we would call him a Top Hand . He communicated with me throughout the day as to when he would arrive and as soon as I met him, I knew he was The Man.  We went directly to the interior furnace unit and he quickly diagnosed and repaired what was wrong as well as gave very helpful suggestions on other unrelated, but still very important points such as not allowing the corrugated gas line to vibrate along the sharp metal edge of the heater housing. He checked the outside unit and found it was solid. There were many areas where a less competent / honest technician could have steered me wrong or charged more, but he didn't. I learned a lot in a very short time and it was well worth the service call just to get exposure to his advanced expertise. I pride myself in knowing how to repair things myself, but have just enough humility to recognize when I am in the presence of a true expert that I should listen to. - JAG

This is an updated review. The team at Rescue Air is very professional & all my interactions with them have been pleasant. I originally contacted them after my ac went out & Dean was there the same day. He said my compressor was out & I could either repair or replace with a brand new system. Neither option is cheap. I took a few days to think it over. I rescheduled with them because I was very impressed with Dean's knowledge & no high sales pressure conversation. He clearly knew a lot about ac's and seemed genuine.
There was a slight scheduling mishap. Once the owners found out, they worked with me to find a suitable time for me & went all out to accommodate me. I decided to bite the bullet & go with replacing the whole ac. They warranty the new unit & Labor . I feel confident now  braving the Texas summer heat, knowing that I have a new unit! I have never worked with a company that valued customer service as much as this company does. I have already recommended them to a few neighbours.

I just had one of the easiest and best experiences with Roman from Rescue Air Heating and Cooling. He was very professional, honest and friendly.

He let me know how old my unit was, gave me tips on how to deal with the manufacturer, and let me know exactly what he did. He offered their subscription deal and I signed up for that because it's worth the price you pay a month to have him come out and check our unit twice a year.

I'm very satisfied with the service and recommend them to everyone I know! Roman was awesome!!

Do Not Use!! They do not tell the truth!!
Appointment scheduled for a Monday. Received good communication that I was on the schedule 3 times up until 4 pm. Then I received a 4th text saying they could not make it out on Monday. When they came on Tuesday, they diagnosed the problem correctly. The inside unit was leaking refrigerant. They said if it was registered, it was under warranty for 10 years. If it was not registered, it was under warranty for 5 years. When I showed them the receipt with an installation date less than 5 years, they said it was NOT under warranty. They also wanted to have an advisor come out and make sure the ac unit was sized correctly. We have been in the house for 25 years with no problems. Needless to say, we contacted another ac company.

Nicks Air came out and found the same problem. The inside unit was leaking.
But GUESS WHAT! The unit was under warranty. So we only had to pay for the labor fee for installing a new unit. Again, DO NOT USE RESCUE AIR.

I noticed water coming down my walls and a water bubble forming in my ceiling above my bed in the master bedroom. My AC unit is in the Attic above my bed so I turned off my AC and the leak stopped. SO I looked on Yelp to find the best HVAC company and had them come out. Dean came over, wore those shoe protectors to protect my flooring and went to work. Long story short I could tell that he loves what he does and takes pride in providing 5 star service. His company makes sure he has all the necessary certifications and schooling and tools necessary to do his job. He wowed us and we signed up to be a member for on going HVAC tune ups.

Our A/C wasn't blowing cold air, it's a Sunday, and we've got a baby. Needless to say, I was worried about the hassle and expense that was sure to come. However, Rescue Air Heating and Cooling was great to work with! Chase, one of their techs, was out within a few hours. He diagnosed the issue quickly and educated me about what happened. Just moved into my home in July. Couldn't help but notice all the reviews for this company. I signed up for their Club Membership to get maintenance in the summer and winter. My technician was thorough, pleasant, and professional. If you can do anything remotely DIY just consider it before you pay for their repairs. (Note: this is NOT a knock on the company). I was quoted $194 to replace a part that had two screws and a plug. I did it myself for $22 and 2min of work. Not everyone can know what's wrong and I will continue to use Rescue for my maintenance and larger HVAC needs. Thank you Rescue and keep doing what you do! #ShopLocal #Richardson

These folks are amazing...

Had a couple of post-installation issues and these guys were on it. They have come back to my house not once, but twice to make things perfect for us.

The first visit, they installed a new return in my living room to improve the airflow. That was supposed to happen on the install, but I didn't want them here longer than they already were that original install day.

Fast forward to Monday morning at 5:30am. I noticed my master bedroom's airflow was very light. I texted Roman about 6:30am and he texted me back at 7am saying they would be there today (Monday) and he would call me. We set their visit up from 6-7 and his installers were here right at 6 ready to see what was what. Well, part of the duct was kinked, and they fixed that. I was happy with that when the lead gentleman said they were going to go ahead and put another vent in my room. Thirty minutes later and they had that done.

So very happy right now. I love sleeping in a cold room. Our room is colder it has ever been. And, our house feels great as well.

Wow! These guys should be the definition of customer service and other companies should take notes from these guys. From the moment we made that frantic call after our furnace did not come back on after being without power for 48 whole hours to the same day drive out to our house in such short notice, every step of the way these guys were so easy to talk to and so professional. Josh answered our call and attempted to walk my husband through all the possibilities and rule out anything major. Within less than 30 minutes we were notified that a tech would come out the same day. Tech arrived no later than 3 hours after the phone call (keep in mind the heavy snow and ice on the roads). Gary and another gentleman showed up and they assessed the problem in less than 30 minutes. Our heat was up and running and still going strong. After the horrible past 48 hours, they have no idea how their great service and professionalism gave us such a huge relief and emotional stability to continue to face whatever else we may encounter in these unprecedented times in TX. I really hope everyone gets to experience the peace of mind and relief we felt. Well worth the money for this type of service. Thank you to everyone involved today to make it happen!

I contacted Rescue Air for three reasons. Firstly, the company has received excellent reviews across various social networks. Secondly, its headquarters are located quite close to Richardson, TX. And thirdly, the company can be reached through various channels.

I was able to schedule a technician appointment with Rescue Air for the following day, before noon. The technician assigned to me was Roman Arnold. He provided exceptional customer service and explained to me that my AC unit, which was over 40 years old, was no longer of any use and that it would be better to replace it rather than waste money on repairing it. He did not pressure me into purchasing anything.

Following this, I decided to replace the entire first-floor system with Rescue Air. As of now, the installation crew is still working, and I will update this review once the installation is complete.

The dispatchers kept me updated throughout the day to help me gauge the window of time for technician arrival. Gary, the technician, was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I received a message back saying, We can absolutely take care of this for you and thank you for reaching out... I then received a phone call indicating that they may not actually perform the service I had inquired about and that a technician would reach out to me with more information. That never happened.

Roman Arnold came out to do a repair for us when our air conditioning unit in the middle of 100 degree plus temperatures. He was very professional and courteous and showed me exactly how our unit worked and what wasn't working. He explained the company well and explained their process for checking technicians. I was skeptical at first when trying to find the right company to help me with my AC. After reading a bunch of reviews on Google and Yelp all arrows pointed to Rescue Air (RA) Heating and Cooling... The staff was first class all the way... Maryann followed up on my appointment and already had my coupon in her system. It was too easy.  

RA sent me a text on who is going to arrive at the house along with a picture of the technician as well as a heads up phone call. No surprises.

I was met by Dean Dyslin with a Texas smile and handshake. He quickly put on his booties and asked to come in. He addressed all my concerns and was happy that I followed him around and asked questions (My wife doesn't let me do that). He was  meticulous on each job he was doing, and wanted it done right.  Pricing was very transparent and he wasn't there to sell, but he did... I couldn't of had a better experience on something hate do to, so much. He sold me to have them come back and be apart of the routine business.

Rescue Air is in the Customer Service business, they just happen to work on Heating and Air ~ Me

I would highly recommend Rescue Air Heating and Cooling!  My air conditioning went out in the middle of the night.  We woke up to a bad situation that needed fixing ... on Labor Day.  Rescue was one of the many a/c companies I called in a panic.  Half of them were not taking calls on Labor Day (which I respect; but, it didn't help me).  I heard back from Rescue almost immediately, we set up an appointment for later in the day, and we discussed pricing over the telephone.  Roman came to the house.  He was extremely courteous, professional and helpful.  He promptly diagnosed the issue (bad capacitor), explained what he had to do, made the appropriate repairs, and even hosed the system down for me.  The price was exactly what had been quoted to me over the telephone, which I found to be reasonable.  Everything was handled very efficiently and professionally ... and we are now sitting in cooled air.  Rescue will be my first call next time.

AC unit quit working last Sunday night at 6:00 pm. Checked yelp for good reviews and comments and found Rescue Air. Called and Alissa answered the phone. I was able to place a service call and she said someone would be there on Monday. Monday at 10:30 AM service tech Joe showed up. Very....... knowledgeable tech and in 30 minutes diagnosed the problem. AC unit was up and going in 45 minutes! THANK YOU Rescue Air!!!! If you need service I would recommend giving Rescue a try.

Instead Alan spent a couple hours with me patiently explaining my options with full transparency. His knowledge and professionalism were outstanding. He took the time to inspect the entire house inside and out to measure the air flow and temperature in every room, even tested the windows. I was extremely impressed. The installation for my entire HVAC system was finished in one day without issues. Gerber and Melvin were fantastic! Again I was impressed. They also took the time to answer my questions and explain all the aspects of the new system. I also have to mention the contact and follow up from the main office. They texted me before and after Alan, Gerber and Melvin came to my house, with pictures of them. Unheard of. This made me feel even more comfortable answering the door. I could go on and on. One more thing, they were very careful not to leave a mess. Alan even wore shoe covers when he came in the house!! I would and have recommended Rescue Air to everyone I know. Ok. Our upstairs A/C wasn't blowing cold, and although we were hoping it would be an easy fix, replacing the capacitor (which was blown) did not get it working. After poor experience with 1st Class Heat/Air two summers ago, I decided to give Rescue Air a shot this time around. Michael came out the next morning during his scheduled time frame, and was very polite and methodical with his process. After checking the capacitor, the jump start, the contactor, and the freon, he showed me that the compressor was dead using a couple different instruments (a gauge and voltmeter I believe). We went inside and sat down and he wrote us out a quote for a new 3ton unit - since ours was 15 years old we would want to use the newer freon and that'd also mean swapping out the coils in the attic. The quote was right there with what we'd heard from neighbors. I told Michael that my wife and I would need to discuss it before we moved forward with the replacement, and asked him what we owed him for coming out and doing the checks / filling the freon in our 5ton unit.. to our surprise Michael said it was on the house and he was not going to charge us. We really liked how he was friendly with our children, honest with his pricing (provided us a line item breakdown of the costs), and actually seemed to want us to have time to think it over before we made a decision and gave us the trip out for free. It's like we were a part of his family or something. We scheduled the replacement and had him install the new Lennox 3ton unit the next day - his guys came out and had everything done in under 4 hours. While they were there, they were very respectful of our house, placing blankets all the way from our front door to upstairs to the attic. They even asked our permission to use our restroom! Everyone at Rescue Air that we dealt with were very professional and like-able guys. I would recommend them to anyone needing A/C work done. Thanks Michael!

Finally...someone who knows what they are doing and didn't come to our home trying to rip us off.  Our 93 year old dad has an older R22 unit that needed some Freon.  Gary came and told us the truth.  We had had two other AC companies out; and, he was the only one who quoted us fairly. My dad used to work in the HVAC industry and it was disappointing to find how many companies try to rip you off.
We are so happy we selected Gary/Rescue Air to service our unit.  There was even an extra bonus: he put our elderly dad in a very good mood!

PLEASE LOOK AT THE EDIT. THIS WENT FROM REALLY BAD TO AWESOME.  You don't see companies taking ownership of their business like Mr Doug Just did.

Called, very courteous. Made an appointment. I was told it would cost 129.00 for the visit.

The tech came changed one fuse that took less than 10 minutes.  

This was for A thermostat that I had installed that got no power after I got it installed; it Is literally 4 little screws, 4 little wires; once the tech changed the fuse he just mounted the thermostat; he never told me anything about this being an extra charge ! After all I called for the thermostat to be installed.

Well, it was 129.00 for his visit plus 120 to install 4 screws and a few wires... my old thermostat was already out, he even said your installation was almost completed so I will give you a discount   Well... his discount was a total of 250.00!   Fine if you want to nickel and dime for every little thing but, he never explained that it would cost an additional 120 to complete an Installation I had begun.   Deceptive and sneaky is not a good way to do business.  After a review I left on their system I got a call almost immediately. I told them what went wrong.... Guess what... nothing happened!  To ad insult to injury I got a card in the mail thanking me for the business.... This is where I draw the line, you came for 10 minutes charged me 250.00 ??? How is this good service???????? I feel like I was robbed.  It would have been ok if I was explained that I was going to be charged extra to complete a job I had almost finished..... I will never hire them.... The sad part is that they didn't care! After I spoke to someone nothing happened, this is why I was compelled to write this specially after their thank you card??? Really???????    PLEASE SEE THE EDIT.

I received a call from MR Doug, he is the GM for this business.  

He investigated what really happened, his tech was at my house less than 15 minutes, I was his last call, Mr Doug explained that he did not deliver on the diagnostic that they have to do which is about 45 minutes or so, he went on to explain that the 129.00 is for a complete diagnosis of my whole system; that didn't happen.  He said we failed to deliver I am going to make it right  he also said he hopes that they didn't ruin the opportunity to serve us.

I don't come across someone with that kind of integrity, it isn't about the money; it is about being honest, he is as honest as they come. For this reason; I have changed my rating from 1 star to 5. In my book this is how you take care of business, honesty is a rare commodity.

It's always stressful when you're suspicious of your AC about to cut out, or when its struggling. I had made another appointment with another company, but they couldn't get to me for another week. Rescue air was very quick to respond to me and keep me up to date when I was next.

I received a few followup phone calls asking questions about other preparations that they needed before their visit (ie: do we need to bring a ladder?). Good attention to detail!

Albert was AMAZING. Even though it was late on a Friday -- he showed perfect expertise and professionalism. He carefully educated me on the technical issues of my unit and provided multiple solutions ( with no pressure). I appreciated the shoe booties as he came into my house - and he was very easy to talk to. Thanks again Albert, and Rescue air!!

One of the highest priced companies in the DFW area they charge $187 per pound of refrigerant which is over $100 more than most companies a simple coolant refill job cost me $600 they may be professional and reliable. But you will be paying lots and lots of money.

I previously used Hooper Heating and Plumbing a few times due to their reviews and they were OK but most recently they came to service my heating unit and charged me $670 to fix a broken fuse and loose wires.  Owner Tracy tried to be reasonable given that it was his employee Juan who overcharged me (I should have asked for the cost before he made the repair) but stood by the charge.  A while later I noticed that the townhouse was overheating on the second floor, asked to have Juan come back. He didn't even go into the house and claimed that my dampers had to be replaced at the cost of $650 + $89 x 3 floors.  I called Rescue Air and Blake came by after a very long day. He took his time to find the issue and in the end, reset all my thermostats and let me know the dampers were working fine.  I also showed him the invoice from the original visit with Juan and he confirmed that the cost was way high for the service that was done.  I will never go back to Hooper Plumbing and use RescueAir for both heating and plumbing needs.

All the folksy customer service aside, they quoted $4,400 to replace a coil unit. I had a different company replace the 5-ton unit for $2,600 with a written 10-year guarantee. The reason I knew I was getting ripped off by Rescue was because I replaced the other coil unit last year for $2,250. The scheduler and the technician were very nice. Bottom line, don't fall for the 5-star ratings - get multiple estimates.

Nelson and Adrian gave us great service. Nelson came out a few weeks ago and fixed a problem with the drain on our HVAC. Latest update, I have to give these folks a five-star review now as they have been extremely responsive to criticism and using it as an opportunity to learn and do better. They reached out to me and were extremely professional and I ended up using them in the long run and can absolutely speak to their commitment to customer service given how seriously they took my complaints.

I called Rescue right after Thanksgiving when my thermostat stopped working. They sent someone almost immediately, which I was not expecting. Joe explained that this was a repair that I could handle myself and would save hundreds of dollars. He even showed me how and didn't even charge anything for the visit.
I took the money that I saved and went out and bought a nice Christmas tree for the family, who, by they way were quite impressed with this do-it-yourself repair that I accomplished - having zero faith that I would be able to do it.
While the company may not have made a dime for their trouble, they made me a hero and now have a customer for life!

Extremely impressed! I contacted Rescue Air Heating and Cooling via Yelp, and they quickly responded the same day and offered to schedule an appointment.

The scheduling staff was professional and timely. They sent Gary out to run a diagnostic on my system and fix my HVAC's issue (low coolant). Gary was super professional, personable, and knowledgeable.

He didn't try to sell my anything unnecessary. He simply provided me with education on HVAC systems and the issue that I could be facing in the future. Gary concisely laid out the option to my wife and me, and then he shut up and let us decide what to do. There was never a sales pitch.

Overall, great service! 10 for 10 would recommend.

I never write reviews but I would like to help someone else who might have the same problem we did.  This company can be much better.  We have used them for several years and everything was great until after purchasing two new units for $36,000 a year ago. It took several visits to get the units level and installed correctly.  The biggest problem is every service check they attempted to upsell.  Some pretty significant suggestions were made for new units that were only a year old. It seems to be required of every representative to sell additional services regardless of if they are needed.  This is dishonest and I do not appreciate the complete lack of professionalism. Highly recommend getting pictures of their findings BEFORE the rep leaves your home and certainly get a second opinion from another company before you get Rescue Air to do any services.

I had an A/C condensation line clogging, with water from the drain pan, seeping all over the floor. Found it due to the splashing.  It was a Saturday, and I called at noon.  They came about 4:00 PM that day.  Jason was very professional, well spoken and educated me on what, how and why of the repairs made.  There was no up-selling.  He told me what was needed and was was quick, efficient and capable.  Very nice young man.

They have a member plan for maintenance, which I think is a good idea.  It provides on-going free checkups and future discounts on services needed.  The company has a price list approach, which groups common repairs at different levels and pricing for each level.  It's not a single item/ on site repair estimate.  The prices are not the cheapest you'll find, but the quality of work and the customer care approach make it acceptable.  Jason made a good impression, creates confidence in their company and did a good job.  

Cheap is not always best.  Money is hard to come by, so I try to buy from people I trust.  I did this man and his company

After having one guy who repeatedly couldn't fix my A/C (he installed it by the way) and another guy who needed to talk to his boss because he didn't know about higher end units, I wasn't holding my breath for a solution any time soon for my upstairs unit. When my downstairs unit broke, I called Rescue Air hoping for a better result and I'm SO glad I did.

Blake came in, assessed the situation, and got my downstairs unit working fairly quickly. He couldn't fix the upstairs unit because a part needed to be ordered, but he said he could be back THE NEXT DAY! And after 6...because ya know...I have to work. He was extremely knowledgeable. Not one time did I hear him say I don't know which is what I kept hearing from others. He's been the only person to look at my upstairs unit and feel confident that he knew how to fix it. Oh yeah, and at the end of the day, when he was explaining everything to me, he was super nice, not tired m, irritated, and ready to go home. He was ready to help and do whatever he had to do to get our units working.

And speaking of customer service, Steve was very helpful in setting up my appointment, being realistic with timing, and making payment arrangements with my landlord.

We are very happy customers and will recommend Rescue Air to anyone who needs A/C service.

I notice my air conditioner wasn't working yesterday afternoon - Middle of the summer in Dallas! A friend had recommended Rescue Air, so I called. First, they were able to get someone out to my house on a Sunday, which was very surprising. They send Roman and he arrived within about 30 min. He spent some time explaining everything to me and helping me feel comfortable with next steps. He fixed my air conditioner in about 45 min and helped me get on a maintenance plan. I'm thrilled with the results and fully intend on using them for all relevant home services in the future!

Blake from Rescue Air Heating and Cooling came out to provide annual service for our home. During his inspection, he found several costly issues with our HVAC system. Blake did everything in his/his company's power to mitigate the unexpected cost of servicing as much as possible and was extremely kind and helpful. What's more, he offered alternative solutions to our current HVAC issue which saved us a lot of out of pocket costs. We definitely would recommend Blake for anyone needing an extra attentive level of service.

So, why only 4 stars? The only reason this overall review is not a 5 star review has nothing to do with Blake's performance in the slightest (He technically gets 5 stars), but has everything to do with the scheduling/admin team at Rescue Air. The appointment we had was mis-scheduled twice by reception.

As with all contracting service appointments, making one's self available for a service window of hours can take time, so when a scheduling mistake occurs not once but multiple times (scheduled 10 to 2, was recorded as 4 to 6, was rescheduled for a Friday but was recorded as a Thursday instead), a star has to be deducted at the very least as it is a review of the overall business experience from scheduling to service completion.

I was fed up with the non-responsiveness of our original equipment installer who we had been using for maintenance.   We contacted a couple of places that were highly recommended by friends because our unit was dead.   Rescue was able to come out the soonest.

Dean came out.    He was very informative, friendly and knowledgable.   His diagnosis was what I expected the problem to be and he got that taken care of quickly.  Then he did some additional testing and discovered we were a little low on freon and he got that charged up.  I appreciated the fact that he has a scale so I could see exactly how much freon was being put in.

Next time we have an issue, Rescue Air will be our first call.

Unbelievably great service. Our AC went out while we had family in town, and I had food poisoning. Within hours Roman came to check the system, and showed us all of our available options.

The NEXT morning at 9 am Jr was here to install the new system. By 5 pm everything was up and running.

We previously had a nest system. The new Lenox system was slightly different in size. Jr was unbelievably thorough in touching up paint and making sure everything was seamlessly swapped out.

After the hardware was in he walked us through the set up. I could not be more pleased with the service or the people. Truly a wonderful company.

These guys are phenomenal! When I had an emergency with my AC one night, I was worried I wouldn't be able to even talk to someone until the morning, but Josh (the owner) chatted with me over Yelp for an hour to help me troubleshoot the situation and get me on their schedule for the next day. Marianne from their office called to schedule it and she was incredibly nice too!

When Andrew arrived, he was so polite and kind and he made sure to explain everything he was doing before he did it so that I was comfortable, and he gave me options too. I never felt pressured or got that irritating salesy vibe from anyone. It was such an awesome experience!

And after all of this excellent customer service I've decided to go with them to replace my unit, because it's so hard to find knowledgeable, trustworthy people, and these guys are definitely that.

Roman came to help me with the new unit the SAME DAY and stayed late. He was so professional and helpful and patient with my questions. I seriously appreciated his attention to detail and willingness to talk things through. SO glad I found them thanks to other reviewers! I can't recommend them enough!

I'm extremely glad that Roman was able to come out and help fix the AC issues I was having. He arrived on time and provided great communication prior to the service appointment. He was very careful to put on shoe covers too while entering the house displaying consideration for the home owner and house. I had requested to watch Roman debug what was wrong with the AC and he went above and beyond on showing me exactly what he was doing and in addition providing detailed commentary. He had to switch out the capacitor and showed me the visible difference between the one that bubbled up versus the new one. In addition, he showed me the exact readings he took using different tools (multimeter, AC gauge set) and the meanings behind the numbers before and after he performed the fix. He took the time to answer every question I had and made sure I understood what was being fixed. I'm grateful he was able to fix the issue with the AC and in addition share his knowledge and experience. He was very meticulous and professional in his job and took the time to fix a small issue a prior AC company had done on the AC without additional charge . Thanks Roman!

Next day service was very much appreciated.  I like that it's a $99 base fee regardless of the day.  Technician that came out was knowledgeable and thorough.  The negative side is that the business has high service fees.  They do offer a monthly membership fee of $11.99 which has it's perks, but overall the quote was still pretty high.

Rescue Air is incredible!!! Today is my wife's due date and our AC went out. Rescue Air was the only company I called that was willing to come out late on a Sunday night to fix our AC. Initially we were out of their service range, but when they found out that my wife was due any day, they said they'd send someone over immediately, despite the distance. Our technician Zac was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. He navigated our difficult AC unit and fixed everything! He even took the time to clean the bathroom from where gunk had spilled out of the ceiling. The thought of having to navigate an AC unit repair from the hospital, or to have to bring home a newborn to house with a broken AC was beyond stressful. Thank you Rescue Air for all the help and peace of mind.

I had an estimate on a copay for a new AC unit through a home warranty.  I contacted Rescue Air about a 2nd opinion on work to be done.  Unlike the company my home warranty contacted, the Rescue Air man showed up very professional looking, uniform which included a matching mask for the COVID times.  He was courteous and very helpful.  I was prepared to pay them a discounted rate offered, but he said that because it was a second opinion, there was no charge.  

I would ABSOLUTELY have used them for the new unit if my home warranty allowed, but I was forced to use their contractor or pay a lot extra.

In the future, I will be contacting Rescue Air.

Great experience with Rescue Air. Called on Friday, got an appointment for the next day, Saturday. The technician, Jason, was wonderful! Took time to analyze our furnace, troubleshoot the problem and educate me on what was taking place and the solution options. Installed part and with care made sure the system was functioning as it should. He further discovered that our old thermostat needed changing. He walked me through how to do that myself and I was able to purchase a Honeywell(based on his recommendation) that day and install from the instructions he had given me. Great Service!

I highly recommend Rescue Air !!! After waiting all day for a no-show AC guy, at 6:30 Wednesday night I called Rescue Air.  Less than two hours later, Roman Arnold was at the door.  He was friendly, courteous, and professional.  He promptly diagnosed the problem.  My unit is old but Roman thought the repair would get me through the season.  Due to the age of my AC, I inquired about the cost of a new unit.  Roman outlined the options and gave me an all inclusive cost breakdown.  I made the decision to purchase a new unit. It's a control thing, I want to control when I purchase the unit, not be forced into a purchase by the scorching heat.  By 3:00 p.m. the following afternoon, I have a sparkling new unit, my house is cool and there is not even a trace of dust as evidence of the repair.  I am so happy to have found Rescue Air ! Roman and the team are incredible. I will be a customer for life. This has been the easiest transaction I could have imagined.

There original service deserved the 5 stars however the follow up is terrible.  I took off work and waited all afternoon for a repair man that never showed.  I was supposed to have drywall repaired that was cut away during the install.  I am guessing that after they get your money, you are moved to the bottom of their list.  I am very disappointed.

Overall, great experience.  We signed up for the regular maintenance to have our furnace and air conditioner checked.  I knew I should be doing it in the Spring and Fall and the price for it yearly, made it a no brainer.  Our air conditioner decided to die, which was 18 years old, so we were just waiting on it to go.  They gave us a bunch of options on replacing and explained in detail the benefits of different options.  We decided to go with a middle of the road option.  They had great financing options and were even able to get installed next day.  I was so impressed with how quick they were and everything was digital and simple.  We have only had the new system a week, but can already tell how much quieter and efficient it is.  It looks so much better in our attic, it was such a mess before.  Michael and Dean were fantastic and we will continue to use them.

I had an excellent experience with Rescue Air from the moment I called to the moment my technician, Chase left.  I called at noon and Rescue was there by 1pm.  The communication leading up to arrival was top notch, with a confirmation text and a profile of Chase.  Chase arrived early and greeted me upon arrival.  His customer service was excellent.  He inspected all of my systems, crawled under two crawl spaces, and called his supervisor at one point to get a second opinion.  In the end, he recommended that I wait on any repairs and that I consider the monthly maintenance program.  His approach felt very consultative with zero pressure.  I felt confident that he was recommending to me what he would do for his own home.  I highly recommend Rescue Air.

Rescue Air is Great.  On a holiday weekend they made time to come out to fix my issue so my family could sleep at night.  Roman took the time to explain each step of what he was doing and walked me through every step of the way.  He answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable with everything he did. This company is awesome!! Steven, the dispatcher, was quick to respond with professionalism, with courtesy and with compassion.  Now the technician, Adrian, was OUTSTANDING.  He found out that we recently had a death in the family, and sincerely offered his condolences.  I live in Houston and let my uncle who is elderly reside in the home.  Adrian would call me to update me on the problem with the A/C provided me several options (substantially less than the company that came out the previous day) to getting my uncle some cool air.  After all was said and done, within two hours, the A/C was up and running. Adrian called to tell me my uncle was very happy, but he also informed me that he didn't need to add as much refrigerant that he thought, so my actual cost was 30% less than originally quoted. Such a great experience!

I put in a call this morning because our upstairs AC had died. We'd been making do with fans for a few days but knew it's going to be getting very hot next week. Roman Arnold came out and was very personable, very professional, and very experienced. We've just had Mike out for our malfunctioning A/C. He not only returned our after-hours call promptly, but also showed up within 15 minutes, explained the problem, and sorted us out efficiently and without charging us, well, anything at all due to the nature of the issue.

We will definitely be calling Mike and Rescue Air for our A/C and Heating needs in the future. This is a small, independently-owned business at its best, and it is so worth supporting.  We've had several A/C companies out in the past for various issues,have never been satisfied enough to call them back, and have been wishing we had someone honest, reliable, and prompt for our return business. Now, we have Rescue Air!

And we're throwing away all the other guys' numbers!

Absolutely the worst company. I had a tech come out to see why my house isn't cooling down and he said it was because the AC unit was overheating and I needed a new AC. So I trusted this company and bought a 12k unit from them.

After they installed it a month ago, I have had to have over 3 visits from techs because the AC was having issues. And Friday a tech came to fix a power wire issue and not sure what he did but now the new AC unit is leaking and flooded my entire bathroom.

I pretty much paid 12k for a AC unit for nothing. This is the most frustrating experience and I am so upset with this company. I have no words. Now we wait. I am praying they show up tomorrow and resolve the issues they caused.

They arrived within the window of time they said they would come.  We just needed a new thermostat and they identified the problem and did a replacement without trying to sell us anything we didn't need.  Three years ago we had a different company tell us we needed a new unit - we still have the same unit and Rescue Air said it was working fine.  Jason took time to explain and seemed very knowledgeable.  Will definitely use them again!

He was very professional, honest and super friendly!

He gave us all the info we needed about our current (older) unit and also gave us several options & tips on how to deal with the unit we have since we're not in a position to buy a new one just yet. He also offered their subscription deal which we signed up for because it's definitely worth the price!!

Of course our ACs (yes, you read that right, both of them!!!) went out during the hottest week in Dallas... called Rescue Air and they had a tech out to us within 5 hours.

Roman was great! Friendly, knowledgeable, and her got our ancient ACs running (fingers crossed)! We also signed up for the monthly membership to get a discount and inspections twice a year.

Highly recommended! Service call cost (before membership) was $99. I was worried because it's Sunday it would b me double, pleasant surprise it's always the same cost.

Called Rescue Air after our furnace was not starting up. They came out within a couple hours on a saturday. Dean took a look at everything and determined that it was a possible electrical issue. I called an electrician, he came out and fixed the voltage problem. I called Rescue Air back and they came right back to figure out the furnace problem. Dean showed me that my blower was bad and that it would be recommended that a new furnace would likely be needed as well.
They came out Monday and installed the furnace pretty quickly and we had heat again. Rescue Air made sure that I understood all the work and gave me a fair quote. Thanks!

Our A/C went out overnight and we were beyond thrilled when we called Rescue Air at 8am and they were able to send someone out before lunch.

Roman was friendly, kind and professional and was quickly able to troubleshoot our problem  

He showed me that our condenser was working but it was the fan motor that had stopped. We were able to get scheduled for the part to be repaired and will be corrected by hopefully this time tomorrow.

I found a leak in my slab foundation. I went on Yelp on Saturday morning. That evening Tyler came to my house and verified the leak with sensors  and turning on and off the water heater. Once leak was found we discussed solutions. Tyler gave me 3 options. My wife and I discussed the possible solutions and decided to reroute the line through the attic. Oscar and his apprentice came on Wednesday. They were prompt and explained everything they were going to do. They worked tirelessly to fix the problem. When finished they cleaned up nicely. These guys are real professionals. I highly recommend this company.  Of course there is a cost for this type of work. I believe I got the best value for my money. There is a 2 year warranty with the finished work.

Rescue Air has been a lifesaver for me. Their customer service is excellent, they are reliable, and their technicians are all very knowledgeable and professional. One of my AC units needed some major repairs last summer, and I ended up paying for a Service Club membership because with all the discounts, I was going to pay the same amount either way. After needing some repairs to the other AC unit recently, I can confidently say the membership is an excellent investment that I will be continuing as long as I own a home. It really does end up paying for itself and saves money in the long run. I also highly recommend asking for Roman.

Rescue Air is by far THE best and most professional AC company I've ever dealt with. From the first point of contact to the end, they provided excellent service. When our AC went out on Saturday evening, I called them and Roman Arnold came out the next day. The dispatcher was great about letting me know when they would be coming and Roman even called to say he was on his way. When he got here, he did a thorough inspection of the unit and when he made his final analysis, he took the time to explain to me what the problem was and what needed to be done and also worked with me on finding a solution to finance the expense of replacing the unit. I had an AC issue last night, it was a Saturday night.  I contacted the previous AC company I used, who did a good job, but unfortunately they went out of business.  I found Rescue Air Heating and Cooling on Yelp and reached out to them on Sunday morning.  They were very fast with their responses and communication with me.  They had a tech out, (Jordan) within 1-2 hours.  Jordan was fantastic.  He was courteous and professional.  He diagnosed the problem quickly and it turned out to be an easy fix.  I am so happy with Jordan and Rescue Air Heating and Cooling I signed up for their service club membership.  You never know what will happen with these Texas Summers!  I highly recommend this company and specifically, Jordan.

I came home from working late one evening to find my AC not cooling. I was concerned that no one would answer the phone after business hours and/ or how long it would take for someone to come out. Kevin not only answered the phone and made scheduling easy, but also gave me advice on surviving the night.

The next day, Gary came out at the exact promised appointment time and had a smile on his face (something I definitely wouldn't be able to do in 100 degree heat). Gary was efficient, knowledgeable and honest throughout the appointment. I never felt like he was trying to pressure me into anything.

I already knew my unit was on its last leg, but I hadn't found a company I really trusted or felt like I received a fair quote from. Until Rescue Air Heating and Cooling. Despite the fact that our AC was working at the time he arrived he listen to my description of the problem we were having and searched until he found the problem. While he was repairing our system he explained what he was doing and the origins of the problem. I had Rescue Air come out for a tune up and inspection because my air wasn't cooling as well as usual. I figured it needed freon. They came out and the tech told me I needed more than just freon. He said I needed a part replaced and that would be over $1,000 with labor. He also tried to have a specialist come out and sell me a new system. I asked if adding freon would help cool my house in the immediate future and buy me some time to make a decision on replacing the part or investing in another system. The tech stated that he was quite certain that wouldn't work. I declined his services and and had another company come out for a second opinion.. And I'm glad I did!! Another company came out ready to replace my Part and after a quick inspection they proceeded to explain to me that it wasn't the issue at all. I have a freon leak. (As I expected) He fixed the problem for an extremely reasonable rate and now I have cold air blowing. The tech from Rescue Air was nice and seemed professional, but I was disappointed to hear that he misled me regarding my system needs/options. I won't be using Rescue Air in the future.

Update 06/06/20: So quick update on this previous review. First and foremost everyone is very nice and courteous at this company. However, I had an issue with the same unit they serviced 3 months ago. It was working but could not keep up with the set temp when it got really hot outside. I have the thermostat set at 73 but it would get to 76 upstairs in the afternoon.  Service tech came out yesterday and was very nice but couldn't find anything wrong. Well same thing happened, temps upstairs got to 76 in the afternoon. I had a friend that works with commercial AC units come over this morning and OMG he showed me what really was supposed to have been tested. It was an eye opener. So niceness will only go so far, I need service techs that can help me fix a problem. First, no cleaning was done on the outside unit, which was very odd given the circumstance. Then, a refrigerant leak from a loose cap was overlooked even though I specifically told the tech there was refrigerant leaking down on the concrete slab. And there were a couple more things but Im trying to keep this brief. So yea my AC is working better now, thanks to a good friend that spent 3 hours of his morning helping me. NO THANKS to Air Rescue and their tech. NOT COOL, pun intended. Here is a picture of the dirty AC unit and video of refrigerant leak, both completely over looked.

If I could give Rescue Air more than 5 stars, I would do it in a heartbeat! Listen to this: My day started off with a perfectly fine working A/C unit. Another company that I called first to do some maintenance ended up breaking it after a wire became disconnected and they wired it back wrong. Told me my compressor was shot, nothing they could do. We love this company. Our AC went out again this summer and Rescue was here the very next day. Dean was super friendly and explained everything really well. He seemed very knowledgeable and told us all of our options in a way we understood. He convinced us to sign up for their service plan and I'm so glad we did because we had another issue come up a few weeks ago and they were here and fixed it within one day. We have had some really crappy experiences with AC companies but Rescue has made us customers for life.

The owner, Josh, took the time to reach out and call me. We had a great in depth discussion on the situation and how they can improve so that others don't have a similar experience. For his good business practices as an owner I would reconsider Rescue Air for future needs. :)

I needed a company to come out and write a hail damage estimate on my unit. I explained that very clearly on the phone. Set an appointment and was never told up front about a service call charge (i ended up not paying one but they tried)When the tech arrived we went together to look at the unit. His diagnosis...the coils could not be combed, and the repairs weren't worth his time because they weren't hindering performance of the unit. However, he'd be glad to go through and fix it if I signed up for their 2xs yearly maintenance and paid monthly. Frustrated, he wrote me a simple note saying coils could not be repaired for my insurance.

The worst part was when he asked me if my husband was home. I told him no. He then asked if I wanted to call him so he could explain the situation. Excuse me??!! You dare to patronize women as if we aren't knowledgeable and are incapable of handling these things. You picked on the wrong tool toting lady. Your sales tactics are dirty, and I didn't appreciate the disrespect you showed me.

I'm giving them a 3 star only because Nelson Sosa was five stars hands down. My AC went out on the morning of 9/3/2019, I troubleshoot what I could, before calling them. After Nelson looked at it for a while he said it was the blower, $1000 to $1200 to replace. He looked at it some more and found that the furnace control circuit board was blown, $1200 to replace. Now my AC is old, it was installed in 2000, so it was also suggested that it could be replaced for like 10k, which I think is to high as I looked into AC's last year. Of course for the board replacement, if we joined their member ship the price would go to $1000, for a monthly payment of $11.99, so the $200 off would pay for the membership. We paid $99 for the diagnostic, I ordered the circuit board from Amazon, free next day shipping for $78.00. Took me 15 minutes to replace. Who in their right mind thinks $1200 is a fair price for 15 minutes of work?

Joshua, if it takes more then 15 minutes to change the same board I did, that might be the problem. The price was unreasonable. So Nelson also mentioned that I had hooked up my nest wrong, because it wasn't turning on the blower. Now after looking at the burned board it's obvious why the blower wasn't turning on, it had nothing to do with nest. I stand 100% behind my nest installation, I'm an Electrical Engineer and work in designing and reading schematic daily, seeing how Everything is color coded it's and easy job. I don't need your congratulations for not getting electrocuted, being and engineer safety is alway a top priority, being a consumer I do t think I need that from you, engineer or not. If I wasn't at work that day I would have never called.

Please ensure that you ask for pricing and understand the services being offered.  The quoted price to service the units was very reasonable, but when I asked about R410A refrigerant charges was told $105/lb.  Most other places I have called in the last two years have been $45-$50/lb.  Lots of good reviews on this company, but make sure you understand the cost.

I finally feel like I'm not getting cheated by a company. Josh is one of the owners & he is very knowledgeable about his business. This company is very reliable & the staff I was in contact with was really friendly. I joined their membership program because in this day & age, it's hard to find companies you can trust. They installed two new thermostats & also did maintenance on my two units. I used a couple companies prior to them & realized I was being ripped off. Dean was my technician & he was very professional & nice. I recommend Rescue Air to anyone, even if you just want to do a little maintenance to your units. (Which you should at least twice a year)

5/5 for Rescue Air Heating and Cooling! James Mitchell was the HVAC professional who serviced us and was extremely knowledgeable. The issue we were experiencing was related to low Freon causing our coals to freeze. James found the root cause and addressed the issue accordingly. He was great to work with so we signed up for their monthly membership. I highly recommend this company to anyone experiencing issues with their AC unit or for yearly maintenance!

Amazing customer service! I attempted to install an Ecobee thermostat, but ran into some issues with wiring. I called Rescue Air and had a tech out the next day. The communication with Rescue Air is on point! Steven at the office kept me looped in on timing throughout the day. When the techs arrived, they were very friendly and professional. They slipped on booties and went right to it. They were able to identify and fix the issue quickly. I mentioned the yelp deal and received $50 off of my total, making it $49. Extremely pleased with the service and cost of the repair! I would highly recommend them to anyone needing HVAC service!

My AC went out in the upstairs of my house.  I called Rescue Air and Plumbing and they came out the same day.  Andrew and Jordan showed up and they found a loose wire in my thermostat.  They fixed it at no charge.  We also looked at both AC units as I know that the upstairs unit is very old.  I know I will need to replace it in the not too distant future but I was impressed that both Andrew and Jordan were knowledgeable but did not try to sell me on anything.  They gave me the information I needed.  I would absolutely use them again.

Update: I initially left a negative review because the sales agent's performance left a bad taste in my mouth. I was contacted the next day by Josh Campbell (one of the owners) and had a 20 minute conversation about what went wrong. He was extremely transparent and let me know that the sales agent's behavior was not in line with what their company stood for. His customer service along with Joe's performance really made me a believer. You can tell that they truly value the opinion of their customers. Best customer service I've experienced in a while!

They are quick to recommend unit replacement. Also, their prices are way too high.
They replaced my outside unit for 4400$ while it should not have cost me more than 3200$. My mistake for not getting a second opinion.
On a different occasion, they came for my other unit after it was not cooling properly and they told me I have to replace the unit. Luckily, I did not make the same mistake and called someone else. Turned out it was only low on Freon. I fixed it for fraction of their cost and it is still running after 3 years. Although, they have a nice staff I would think twice before trusting them. Definitely get a second opinion. If you read some of the other negative reviews you can see many people had the same issue where they were quoted very high prices and they were able to get the job done a lot cheaper by getting a second opinion. This company rips people off on prices and replacement recommendation.

Update: After ripping me off the owner calls to see how he could improve his business, then he writes a reply trying to undermine the accuracy of my review. Seriously?
I had three quotes from three highly rated HVAC companies in the area and they all agreed 4400$ was way to much for the job they did. The prices they quoted me varied with max at 3200$.
I did not wanted to write this review because the job was done few years back but I thought it might be helpful to share my experience so people in my community can make better decisions regarding their HVAC needs.

Tried to up-sell me things I didn't need. Told me a part was discontinued, and tried to get me to buy a whole new furnace for a price from $4,800 to $6,800.  I found a small business owner that came in and replaced the part that day for $450.

They came out the same day I reached out to them they got the toilet working and found the underlying issue. I had old cast iron pipes that were falling apart and caused numerous backups. They had a team come out the next morning to dig up and replace the pipes with pvc. They gave me financing options. Altogether, great company very helpful and transparent.

I called Rescue Air Heating and Cooling when our new A/C unit (less than a year old) stopped working and the original folks that installed it weren't able to properly assist me.  They were able to send Jason out to my house within 24 hours to help assess what was wrong and develop a plan to fix it. Jason was hands down the best contractor I've ever had come out to my house. He took the time to walk me through step by step of his assessment process and showed me everything he was looking at as he diagnosed the unit outside and in the attic. Jason was able to quickly identify several issues with my system (likely due to poor workmanship from the previous A/C company), such as a kink in the return line, the unit sitting in level on a pad meant for a smaller unit, a leak in the condenser coil and some items that were not up to code with the metering devices and float switches. He promised a quick turn around time for the installation team to come out and fix everything we talked about. I was so impressed by his knowledge and passion for his work that I was a bit disappointed to learn that a different team was going to actually be implementing the fixes. However, when there was a mixup with scheduling, Jason came out and fixed it himself just to get the job done on time! He spent nearly 9 hours today fixing everything the way it needed to be fixed. I could not be happier with Jason and his incredible work ethic that got my family's A/C back up and running in no time! Thank you again for all of your hard work!

Out a/c was not cooling the house, but was pushing out cool air.  My husband called Rescue Air on Saturday, and hung up saying they would be out the next day.  Call them back!  I don't want to pay $200 for an 'emergency service' call on a Sunday, I panicked.  Nope, no extra charge, he said.

Joe was out 3 hours early, and could not have been more polite or professional. It turns out the roofers we'd had out the day before had taken the doors off the unit, and it wasn't working properly.  He was done in a New York minute, and didn't try to upsell us anything for our elderly unit.

Well done!  We'll be happy to call them again when we need something.

Rescue Air has been great! I had a whole new system installed over the summer. The employees are all very professional and knowledgeable. They must provide extensive customer service training for their employees because everyone is truly top notch. A new return vent Rescue Air of Richardson recently installed had begun to vibrate.  We didn't know it was the vent, at first. Worried it was the unit itself, we called. Jason came out and correctly diagnosed the problem. As this vent is near the high point in a very high ceiling, a special extension ladder was necessary. Dean and Chase returned within a couple of days and corrected the problem in minutes. They even painted the vent to match the wall for us. Great work above and beyond from great guys. Enjoyed having them in our home.

We have been on Rescue Air's service plan (highly recommend) for a few years now and have always received excellent service and that was the case once again today.  Our a/c stopped blowing cold air overnight and I called in at 5:30 this morning to see if I could get an emergency appointment. I was put on the schedule and Roman arrived at 11AM. Roman went over our system throughly and was able to pinpoint the issue. He did point out that the system is too small for the square footage of the house but we had already been told that when we purchased the house. Since this was diagnosed as an intermittent issue,  Roman went through our options from watching to see if it happens again to the cost to upgrade the system. There was no pressure to make a decision right away and Roman gave me his info and told me what to look for and to contact him right away if there was any issue. He was professional and respectful of our house to a fault and I felt well informed of my options when he left.

I don't think I've ever been legitimately impressed with an a/c service until now. Zach from Rescue was thoroughly courteous & professional, quickly identified our problem (dislodged housing liner in the furnace) and went the extra mile to fix it, along with stripped screws from the previous service. He also gave us several recommendations - NOT high pressure sales - since our house is older, of ways we could help improve the overall comfort in the house. Even before the actual service, they kept us regularly updated with the status of when we could expect the tech to arrive. Pretty sure we have our new go-to for heating & a/c needs!

Joe spent plenty of time with us, explaining our options and making recommendations for our new system and to maximize the performance of our old system.
He did come out within 24 hrs and we felt really good about trusting our big job to Rescue Air. Their employees are all very friendly (the Chic-Fil-A crew of A/C repair) and communicate clearly and openly.

We had a great experience with Rescue Air Heating and Cooling. The employee took time to look at the problem and noticed that the issue was that one of the dampers was slightly closed. He showed me what to do if it happened again and didn't charge me for anything besides the fee to come out.

Also usually the fee is around ~99 but I used the yelp discount on that as well:)

A couple of months ago, right at the end of December 2022, I decided it was time to get get our ducts cleaned and the AC checked out. I have lived in Plano at the same address since we built the house back in 1994 and replaced our AC unit 2009.
While our house gets a weekly cleaning, I thought it was a good time to start the new year fresh by asking Rescue Air & Plumbing to clean out the air ducts. Was I glad I did.
First, RA&P sent out Andrew Peterson, a pro with 10 years experience to look over the AC and the ducts. I knew immediatly I was talking to a professional who understood what he was talking about.
There was never any pressure; just intellegent conversation and a discussion of options.
One of my questions had to do with adding an air sanitization system to our unit as I had heard there was value in this, especially with allergy sufferers (of which my wife is one).
On a follow up visit, I met Chase Lowe and learned about the option of adding a Patriot Carbon Air Scrubber Sanitization System and again - no preasure just good information on the features and benefits of adding what turned out to be a very affordable option and one that I can assure you, after 60 days of use has made a BIG difference in relieving my wife of much of her allergy discomfort.
Summary, the guys at RA&P are pros who know their business (rare these days in the service sector) No pressure and fully competent. My air is clean and my bride is happy. That makes me a customer for life.

I had a pretty terrible experience all around with their HVAC and plumbing divisions. I needed a new HVAC system and ducting in my 1980s home. Someone from sales came out and took measurements, calculated BTUs, and told me they'd solve my cooling issues. I spent more than 40K on a new high end AC, furnace, and ducting, only to find out that the furnace they installed was an 80% efficiency unit complicating my plans to spray foam my attic, and my house is still 82 degrees in the afternoon! This is after their sales team made me feel like I was crazy for thinking about installing a heat pump rather than a gas furnace. When their technicians come out (hours late, after they'd rescheduled days) they seemed annoyed that I needed them to take care of the inside portion of servicing the AC quickly so I could leave. They also didn't ever vacuum out the vents, which still have insulation in them.

For the last 6 days, I have been reaching out to get a receipt, find out exactly what unit was installed, and determine if my unit is compatible with spray foam attic insulation. After being told a manager would contact me, nothing.

Early one morning the water heater pipe leaked into our bedroom walls and closet floor. Since part of our service includes a care plan we called Rescue Air. To our surprise, they said they wouldn't be able to get to us until late afternoon. (10 hours later, and only a maybe). With an active leak, we needed someone immediately. Roto Rooter was able to get to our home within 3 hours.

For their plumbing division, the prices are on the high end, and their work is questionable. I had the valves to the main line replaced, and come to find out it was done by someone with no TX plumbing license whose work didn't meet code. Not only that, it was leaking! It took calling another plumber to identify the issue for it to get resolved (which to their credit was free).

We simply don't call this company when we have an emergency because they lost our trust.

Let me start off by saying, it's 8:20 at night and all the workers JUST left... They stayed til the job was completely done, no if's ands or but's. New home owners, our air conditioning was 23 years old and finally kicked the bucket on Labor Day. Owner came fast the next day and gave the best quote we could find. He was nice and polite. Workers came the next day around 8 Am and stayed for 12 hours. Amazing work ethic, kind, and told us they wouldn't leave us without AC especially because we have a 5 month old baby in the house. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. I give them top notch points in everything. Thanks guys, it was great!

I called Rescue Air to get a second opinion, since we were potentially facing a very expensive replacement of our two HVAC systems.  First we spoke with Charlie O, who was very professional and took the time to discuss our issues and needs in depth.  He determined that we needed to get a technician onsite with the appropriate tools and instruments for a detailed assessment of our systems.  The very next day, Dean D was able to come and evaluate our systems and reassured us that it looked like they were in decent shape and we shouldn't have to replace anything yet.  Although both Charlie and Dean could have convinced us we needed significant repairs or replacement, they gave us honest assessments and feedback and established their trustworthiness, which we appreciate tremendously.  We will be using Rescue Air going forward.

Fast professional service. Oscar was great! Answered all my questions and was in and out in less than half an hour.  I had a stopped up sink drain that needed an auger to clean out. They gave me an up front estimate over the phone, came out next day, notified me when they were on their way, and showed up on time. When I need to replace my hot water heater, I will be asking for Oscar. I would highly recommend these guys for any of your plumbing needs!

When my a/c system did not work, I called rescue air heating and cooling. I contacted them around 8:30 am, expecting an answering machine,instead a nice lady answered the phone and gathered all my information needed. Less than an hour later, the technician, Michael, personally called me back and within hours he came.   Michael diagnosed the problem very quickly and my cooling system was working within minutes! Because it was a very small maintenance problem, he didn't even charge for the service!  

Not only they were prompt and very efficient, I'm very pleased for their outstanding customer service !!  If I could give them 6 stars I would!

Being new to this area, I was so skeptical as I looked for a company that I could trust and feel confident about calling whenever needed.  After quite a bit of online searching and reading reviews, I hit the jackpot... this I'm sure of after my service call was completed today by Rescue Air!

My issue was minor, but no less important to this company.  Just needed an A/C check and system tune up in an older house that we bought.  Our appointment had to be rescheduled several times due to the weather.  Each time, Michael was proactive in contacting me and always trying to accommodate my schedule.  As soon as the temperature cooperated, I called and they were out at the best time that worked for us!

Going forward, this is definitely my HVAC company of choice!  Michael you've earned a long term customer here...

We had great previous experience with Texas Green Plumbing so when they merged with Rescue Air, we signed up for the yearly package that offers summer and winter HVAC checkups.
Andrew and Jordan arrived on time and checked the heating and air conditioning systems in the attic on both sides of our home. They took photos and explained that previous companies we had dealt with had done some things that made the systems inefficient and unsafe. We knew the systems were 15 years old and on borrowed time. Both techs were extremely knowledgeable and gave us a thorough explanation and offered three different options for replacement and were not at all pushy.
We chose the most efficient option, which was also the most expensive, but fairly priced and they had options for financing with no fees.
Installation was scheduled for the next day (Saturday) and the installation techs arrived on time and worked diligently to complete demo and installation of two complete HVAC systems in one day. The techs were clean, neat, and respectful of our property, even cleaning up when they were done.
We had only one small issue with the screen on one of the digital controls, and another tech came Monday morning to replace the screen.
One week into the new system, we are very happy- it is so quiet we have to check to make sure it's running- and we are hopeful that the new system is much more efficient, once we see the summer utility bills!
We will continue to use Texas Green Plumbing and Rescue Air HVAC for all our home plumbing and HVAC needs!

The AC in my house decided to kick the can right when the texas summer heat started at the beginning of June so I found these guys searching around and gave them a call. They were able to get out to me the next day (thankfully it was a weekday) and the tech came out and said it was just low on coolant, recharged my system and I paid in cash and called it a day. The next 2 days later my AC was blowing hot air again. I called the company back and told them the situation and they said all of their techs are busy for the next 4 days. I thought it was very interesting when I was a first time customer with cash in hand they was able to come out the next day but when no money was gonna be exchanged they delayed me *eye roll* but they came back out 4 days later and told me I have a coolant leak, the guy patched it, and now my AC is just barely blowing cold. It was still hot in the house.

I ended up calling another AC service and they came, fixed it and everything is nice and chilly.

Great service from Rescue Air & Texas Green Plumbing! Brought them out to look over our 1950's cast iron pipes and discuss upgrades and they offered us a deal we couldn't refuse! Highly recommend having Tyler & Oscar come out on the front end. They worked with us with pricing, maintenance plans and worked with us on payment schedules so we didn't have to finance. They then completed EVERYTHING in 2 days!  They removed and replace 90% of pipes, installed 2 new toilets and installed a new water heater. They were on time and reliable! Glad we found them.

I used Rescue Air for service and installation of a new unit at my previous home and only had fabulous things to say then.
Well, now, as a renter I was happy to recommend Rescue Air to my landlord when my A/C unit suddenly stopped working in 103 degree heat at 6pm on a Sunday night.  He agreed, and Rescue Air responded.....FAST!
Roman, my A/C tech, arrived friendly and professionally at 8:30pm and was quick to respond to an underlying piping/plumbing issue causing a pan to overflow.  Literally, he arrived in the nick of time as water was beginning to come thru the air vents!
I appreciate Rescue Air and Roman for being prompt and efficient and preventing me from melting down. Highly recommend!!!!

I chose this company based on their online reviews from multiple sites.  If you depend on customer reviews, too, I highly recommend this locally-owned business. I have very high standards for customer service and I was not disappointed with anyone on the team.   I called in the afternoon and was able to receive a same-day appointment.   The office was friendly and courteous. I received update calls and notification when they were on their way. The honesty from Andrew and Jordan was reassuring.  They were very knowledgeable in their explanations for options and patient with all our questions even at 10 pm.  We didn't feel pressured or experience any up-selling.  Best of all, the crew arrived by 8:30 am and we had a completely new, installed HVAC unit within 24 hours.  Anyone who ever experienced an A/C failure in August in Texas knows the value of a quick turnaround.  The install crew was very professional and worked independently to get it all done.  They used drop cloths and cleaned up everything so well you couldn't even tell they were here.  We've found our new go-to for HVAC and plumbing.

The upstairs unit in my house wasn't able to keep up with the Texas heat.  I had multiple HVAC companies tell me different reasons why.  Not enough insulation, etc. etc.  When it finally came time to replace the unit I got (literally) 7 different quotes.  Rescue Air wasn't the cheapest, but they were the BEST.  They explained exactly why up upstairs wan't cooling properly and took photos to back up their story.  They told me their plan to fix the problem, and a year later I'm happy to report the system is PERFECT and cools exactly as it should.  Now, it's time to almost time to replace the downstairs unit and my first call was to Rescue Air.  Roman was NO PRESSURE, honest, polite and took the time to explain my options to me.  He is a breathe of fresh air (pun intended) and I appreciate his integrity.  Thanks, Roman!

Calling Rescue Air for a second opinion to diagnose my AC unit is not working. It was nice that they can send a technician without a charge.

Unfortunately, I received 2 different answers from 2 technician. The first HVAC said my main control board needs to be replaced. Rescue Air said I need to change the thermostat which costs me $600. I asked many times that if I still need to change the main board in order to make it work and they said NO.

The first HVAC company took responsible for their diagnose, came and changed my thermostat for FREE to show their good faith in the business, they told me that if I go with Rescue Air, I will need to pay twice. Not only I have to pay for the thermostat that is not broken but also pay for the main control board!

Long story short, I call Rescue Air to give them a second chance to make it right. They felt offended and the call agent Janet was rude while taking the call. They refused their wrong diagnoses and didn't want to step in to find solutions or listen to what their customer wants to ask for. I asked to escalate this matter to the manager, their manager gave me the quotes way more expensive than the 1st company. Since I don't trust their expertise and the way they handle the customer, I am not going to hire them.

In 2018 we had Rescue install two systems in our home.  Have paid the monthly $24 fee every month since.  At every 6 month checkup they find something else to charge for.  Latest - $178 to replace an $8 condensate pan strip.  Called office...gee we're sorry.
Whatever you do get several estimates and be careful.  Canceling membership today.

I will call Rescue the next time I have any issues.  Michael came by the same day I called and it was one of those hot days two weeks ago.  After about 10 minutes of troubleshooting and looking at the unit, he told me the problem was electrical and offered up some names to call.  Without too much detail, he did virtually EVERYTHING to get us up and going ... way over and above...super good guy.  When he found out the problem was electrical, he was willing to pack up and go home with no charge.  He could have gotten me for anything (service call, time, etc.) and he just didn't want to do that.  Bottom line - we had AC that night due to some oddity with electricity getting to the unit.  Also, I might add that Rescue has someone answering phones and directing traffic.  Alot of places don't have the administrative support required to support the business.  I'm sure it is easy with cell phones these days to think you can be on the road, repair units and take calls.  For the record, I called about 3 places first and got no answer (places with good Yelp reviews).  Rescue was on it.  Thank you Michael and the people at Rescue.

We were absolutely blown away with the service we received from Rescue Air and it all started with Alan! We had a feeling our unit was going to fail us soon, so we started gathering quotes. Within the first 2 minutes of our consult, I knew this was the company I wanted to proceed with. Alan was kind, thorough, and really took his time to lay out 4 different options that would work best for our house and our needs. Sure enough, our HVAC went out the very next week. We texted Alan right away and he worked tirelessly after hours to make sure we had a crew at our house the next day. The service we received didn't stop with Alan- The crew that did our install was Chris, Juan, and Tony. They did a walk-through of the house with me before I left for work and immediately sprung into action. These guys worked tirelessly in our attic all morning to get our duct work completely replaced and the new unit installed all within the same day. Every time my husband or I stopped by the house, Chris would update us on the progress they'd made and what step they would be working on next. My husband works construction and has high expectations for crews. He is still talking about how impressed he was with Chris and his crew over a week later! Other companies told us our job would take multiple days- But not with the guys at Rescue Air. Chris, Juan, and Tony were very considerate of our house. They laid down floor protection, kept a tidy working space, and cleaned up every last spec of dust once they completed the job. The icing on the cake- Alan has checked in with us since the install was completed to answer any additional questions we've had! The follow through and level of service this company provides is UNMATCHED. Kudos to Rescue Air for being such an ELITE heating, cooling, and plumbing company!

My A/C stopped blowing cold air. I called Rescue Air based on the reviews I read. Within less than TWO hours in the crazy Texas heat, Roman was at my door. They called to confirm his ETA about 30 minutes prior as welll.

He was professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. He explained the problem, took photos to make sure I understood the issues and presented me with a solution and answered all of my questions. He made sure to take the time to understand my needs vs trying to upsell me.  I would recommend him to any of my friends and family in the area.

I don't normally take a lot of time to actually write a review, but this time I felt compelled to go above and beyond.  My first encounter with the team at R/A occurred when I had an issue with a 29 year-old unit.  They came quickly, on time, got me fixed up at a reasonable price.  Ok, so you should be able to expect such things, right?  Of course.  But they did it with care and courtesy that went above and beyond, from the initial phone call, to the follow-up call after to ensure my satisfaction.  So where do you think I when the same 29-year old unit finally bit the dust?  You guessed it, R/A.  But before I did, I did my homework.  I had a pretty good idea what I wanted/needed, what it was going to cost, and had pulled some quotes for comparison.  This time around, R/A was even better.  The salesman, if you want to call him that (they don't push like sales folks sometimes can, so I prefer to call him an HVAC needs expert) was every bit as knowledgeable and courteous as the repair technician, who by the way, ALSO attended the sitdown regarding the unit just to make sure my current situation aligned with whichever unit I chose.  In the end, I went with a unit produced by a locally HQ'd company (Lennox) at a price that  was on par with the exceptional service.  The R/A philosophy of being a leader in service and value is being executed very well, and as I'm sure you've noticed, I'm pretty happy.  I'm not exactly looking forward to paying for the replacement of my other 29 year old unit, but when it's final days inevitably come, I know who I'm going to call.  I suggest you do the same.

I had an exceptional experience with Rescue Air! My air conditioner broke down around 2 in 100 degree plus heat going on 40 days i texas and upon calling them the operator's immediately answered scheduled an appointment for the SAME DAY .

Blake and Roman arrived without delay wn 45 minutes diving straight into diagnosing the issue. Within just half an hour, they not only pinpointed the problem but also restarted my existing system and it's ice cold again!

What impressed me even more was their insight into various preventive and other options My system along w some with 0% awesome financing options over 60 months in this rate environment it's perfect

We have been disappointed with our experience with Rescue Air. On a hot July night, around 10pm, I called Rescue Air with a broken AC. They claim to offer 24/7 service and even priority service to members of their maintenance club, which we are. No one visited our home until the next day around 10am.

The people (call center?) we spoke to on the phone the three times we called and multiple times we used their text message service were unable to do anything more than try to connect with the three technicians that were supposedly on-call, and failing that, page them with our problem and info to prompt a callback. Every time we called, the customer service rep was unable to connect with any of the techs and said they had paged our info out. Each time, the CSR promised we would hear back from a tech shortly. We never did, until the next morning.

Frustratingly, we have a small office where we have separate air conditioning via a mini-split. Had someone communicated that they couldn't come out until the morning we would have set up an air mattress in the office. But we felt confident (24/7 service, maintenance program members) that someone would be at our home within an hour or two, so we stayed awake waiting for the call. We faded in and out through a hot summer night without air conditioning trying not to miss a phone call or knock at our door.

When the technician (Gary? Greg?) did arrive the next day, he rectified the problem quickly and had the parts necessary on his truck. We paid $237 for the repair (a contact replacement) after the discount we receive for being members, for which we pay $11.95/month. The technician was friendly and seemed blissfully unaware that we had been on the phone multiple times with CSRs. I am certain he did in fact know about our troubles and provided friendly & fast service nonetheless.

It's worth noting when we had spring AC maintenance service, the technician had noted at that time that this exact contact may make it through it summer. So, we knew there was a chance our AC could break down before our next service the following Spring. This is exactly why the maintenance program, complete with 24/7 priority service, made sense for us. Since we didn't get what we paid for on that front, I'll be looking for a new company for a maintenance agreement.

Another point of information: we had Rescue Air quote us for a mini-split in an office. He insisted we didn't need a mini-split and that some extra ducts & vents would do the job. We have expertise in HVAC world and we knew the solution we wanted was a mini-split. He quoted us nearly $8,000 for a single-room 1-ton mini-split...which is absolutely bonkers. We received quotes from several other companies and Rescue Air's quote was by far the highest. We had a company come out and do a beautiful, clean install the same exact equipment Rescue Air recommended for $3,000. My guess is that the Rescue Air team doesn't like to install mini-splits for whatever reason, or sees them as an opportunity to make a nearly unethical amount of profit, which is why the price was so high.

Both technicians we interacted with (our AC service and our AC repair) were friendly and knowledgeable. Both visits happened during the COVID-19 pandemic and they wore masks and kept their distance from us. The professionalism and knowledge of these techs is why Rescue Air is getting an average rating from me. I would compare my experience with Rescue Air like having terrible service at a restaurant but the food is pretty good. The chef still deserves some credit. In this case, the techs deserve credit for their hard work but the business operation overall leaves a lot to be desired.

Our annual service call led to nothing but trouble.  Tech adjusted to have outside air come in and make house humid.  Tried to sell me a $5k dehumidifier.  Called another company and they put it back to normal.  Shame on them!

I spoke to a nice lady named Edie on the phone. She scheduled me for service the next day. The only problem is she never scheduled it! I called back to confirm and they had no idea about the service being scheduled. I'm not sure what happened. The repair needed to be done urgently. So I wasted time thinking I had an appointment when I did not.

I live in San Antonio and have a rental in Rowlett, TX.  I was able to make an appointment on Saturday for a consultation and get things set up to replace the system.  Charlie was very knowledgeable, gave us options and set everything up for us that day.  They came out on Monday to do the work, finished it in one day and my tenants are extremely happy.  They texted me: The AC guys were awesome.  Very professional.  Finished today.  Explained everything and didn't leave a mess.  I give this company an A+ and will not hesitate to recommend them ever.  Thanks for a job well done without any stress.

My heat went out on the weekend. I heard from a friend to contact Rescue Air. He said they were awesome. They didn't disappoint! Called them on Sunday to have them contact me on Monday regarding an appointment. They contacted me first thing Monday morning and gave me a 2 hour window. Not often you get a 2 hour window with most companies! The tech came out and diagnosed the problem promptly. He replaced the part and did some additional checks and preventative maintenance I would've never expected! And it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. Super pleased with the service from beginning to end.

Jordan and Andrew conducted semi-annual maintenance on my 2 HVAC systems.  During their inspection they found that the condenser on one of my units was bad and about to fail.  They demonstrated the problem to me using their instruments, and it was clear that the unit needed to be replaced.  They showed me several options at different pricing levels and we discussed the alternatives and things to be considered.  I decided to select one of the options presented and they managed to have their crew do the installation that same day at a discounted price.  They both gave me a lot of confidence in their service and recommendations, and I was very happy with the entire service.  I've been with Rescue Air for a few years and feel that they are a step above any other HVAC I've used.  I highly recommend them for your HVAC needs.

The plumber is not professional and not honest .  

1) not honest
   My case is a bathtub backed up issue, the service call is  $129 , fixing the clog is $3xx, and he tried to sell me reposition the toilet for $4xx., total is $8xx.  I have to call back to his management team and negotiate to take the $129 service down.    Of course I rejected the toilet reposition, it's not necessary and charge ridiculously.

2) not professional
  The issue happened again after 2 weeks.  If it's been clear completely, the drain won't clog again in the short period of time.

3) I give credit to the receptionist, she correct the service call charge .

Josh is great.  We had a big A/C unit in the back yard were we are putting in a pool.  His team moved it despite the conditions because we had a time line.  The poor guys were covered in mud but were still in great spirits.

I recommend Rescue air for your A/C needs.

Came home to no air conditioning on a hot summer day in TX in July. My husband and I were prepared to be taken for a ride, based on past experiences.
After contacting 5 different companies, we got Rescue Air and Heat from our neighborhood email group. The representative that answered my call was very friendly and professional. She told me what to expect and it went exactly like she said.
Roman Arnold was our tech. He was on time, came into our home Covid safe and was so friendly. He promptly got to work. He gave us the details of his findings along with a price. When he was finished it cost us exactly what he said it would, which was very reasonable. No add ons, no oops found something else.
My husband and I were truly preparing ourselves for a negative experience and it was the complete opposite. We are thrilled to finally find an honest company with great service. When we have to invest in new units, we know where to go! So many other companies wouldn't make an effort to come help us today but now, my husband and I will sleep very cool!!

Rescue Air is the best - they respond right away and answer your call and call back! We contacted them on a Sunday of a holiday weekend, they were responsive, gave a fair quote and kept me informed via text when I could expect someone to arrive. Chase was our Tech, he had Covid Personal Protection in place, he was professional and fixed our issue as well as explained what was needed. He was great! I'm just called them again for a different issue and requested Chase. We are now loyal customers.

When I called to make an appointment for a check and tune-up, they answered right away and were able to schedule the appointment in a timely manner.  I got a reminder text the day before.  They called when the technician was on his way and sent a text with his picture.  Dean arrived right at the top of my time window and provided us with great service.  He checked everything, explained how our ducts were set-up, ensured there was no carbon monoxide coming through any vents, etc. - very thorough.  We decided to sign up for the maintenance program to have them check our systems twice a year.

I have had cooling issues recently. Have called a couple of A/C companies based on their reviews, but none of them could give me satisfactory diagnosis results why my system is not cooling. Luckily I came across Rescue Air. Undoubtedly, their experience was much much better than any other A/C company I dealt with. Jason was the technician. Very knowledgeable, polite and patient guy. Arrived on time with 30 mins early heads up. Took as much time as it took to go over all possible points of diagnosis & provided me a comprehensive report of all issues & recommendations. Answered all my questions with proper justification. This is exactly what a customer would want! My problem is not yet solved but a proper diagnosis is equivalent to 90% of the solution! I am pretty confident that my system is in good hands and would be fixed soon. Thanks Jason! Would highly recommend them!

I only received service once from these guys, where the only diagnosed and fixed some problems temporarily! I really appreciate that the technician thoroughly went through all the small points with me and did some immediate fixes there and then, which at least made my A/C to function little better in the Texas summer heat. Its also worth mentioning that the guy really invested a lot of time understanding my system and diagnosing the problems.
However, after that I did not receive expected service from them. And this is the reason I am removing some stars from my review. Otherwise they really deserved a 5 star, if they would really had fixed my problems. Just diagnosing and quoting for issues is not enough. You need to be responsive always and more importantly, should be able to justify your prices. The service I received in the 1st visit was above all my expectations. I wish you would have continued the same. I wouldn't have to fix my system from somebody else in that case!

Rescue Air made sure we got service the same day we called after a 110 degree heat index weekend. Their customer support and dispatch team are amazing.  Nelson Sosa, one of their new techs, came out the same day we called and was kind, smart and called his supervisor to double-check his work to ensure we got the right advice and help to get the AC working again. Left our home at 9pm, so their claim to work all hours is true.  Thanks, Nelson and the entire Rescue Air team!
