First off, thank you Kat and your team for taking such good care of us. We just opened a restaurant and needed our plumbing done right away. No hassle no fuss, just done right. Best pricess in town.

They were great!   Fast response and very professional!  They came out and assessed the issue very quickly. Chris was super helpful and determined the issue. Turns out it the leak is on the HOA side.  Chris spoke to the HOA and advise them of what repairs were needed. I'll definitely call HEB with any plumbing needs!

Kathlyn Smith and her crew always impress us. They showed up this time on a Sunday and repaired damaged sprinkler pipes.  They always do great work.

Great experience, my go-to plumbers from now on. I was ankle deep in shower water and had a couple of sinks that were draining slow. James was great, very clean and expedient. Cleared all my drains and everything is flowing quickly now. Even had him rooter my main drain for peace of mind, hadn't been done the whole 6 years we've lived here. Very fair and competitive price. What a wonderful company. I needed a plumber to come to my house due to a clog in the bathroom pipes. It was already past noon on a monday and as a single mom I rushed home feom work to take care of the plumbing issue. I called 20 company and no luck having someone come over at the last min. THis was the first co that assured to call me back after they rearrange their schedule. Kathlyn called me back within 15 to 20 min to tell me someone will be at my house within the hour. They were on time and made sure everything was taken care of. Cant thank them enough! Will use their service in the future.

Good service showed up on time. Did what they were supposed to and charge me what they said they would. I would use them again.

HEB Plumbing answered the phone on the 1st try early on a Saturday morning.  She was extremely friendly and helpful.  Had someone out to fix the repair within a few hours.  

Very good customer service and they DON'T charge an arm and a leg for a Saturday repair, just the standard cost same as a weekday.  I called another well known company (who is constantly on TV commercials) prior to calling HEB and their charges for a Saturday were $262.00 per hour plus parts!  That's just wrong!  HEB will be my 1st call going forward.

I have to give them an A+++ rating. I called at 8:30AM on a Saturday for a clogged kitchen sink. Two plumbers were at my house by 9:00AM. I told them I had already checked the pipes under the sink but didn't find any of them clogged up. They went straight to the snake into the main drain and found the problem. My clogged sink was fixed within an hour of me calling. That's what I call outstanding service and with a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend HEB plumbing and will use them again if I have any future problems.

A pair of Kathlyn's crew, Chris and Eric, came out to repair a cracked water line.  They were prompt to our appointment.  They were very professional and kind enough to show me the problem and how to fix it.  I wouldn't be able to do it but it was fun to learn.  At the end of the job Kathlyn came by to introduce herself and discuss the job.  It was a nice touch.  This will be my go-to company for any future plumbing issues!

My goodness what a FANTASTIC company! Kathlyn responded extremely fast, got an appointment set up and continued to stay in constant communication throughout the process. Her team was timely, professional and extremely patient with my questions. They did an amazing job in a short amount of time...which is lovely since you pay by the hour.

Rather than detail the 'good' and the 'bad' I will explain the 'GREAT' and the 'NOT GREAT' details of my service call today. My issue was that my sprinkler system control box was displaying an error message indicating a possible solenoid or wiring fault, and none of the zones were watering on schedule.
THE GREAT
The owner was very professional and knowledgeable on the phone, had quick availability and explained the hourly rate structure up front. My licensed plumber showed up on time, systematically located my valves, and replaced a defective solenoid. Overall, a very professional experience.
THE NOT SO GREAT
These guys are plumbers, not licensed irrigators, and they charge $30 more per hour than the typical irrigation company (called a few after they left to see if I was grossly overcharged). I was also hit with several interesting charges like a dispatch fee, a testing equipment fee, and a sanitation fee (got billed for the pair of disposable gloves he wore while he was here). Overall, I got charged twice as much as the irrigate would have.
If you have broken pipes, need whole valves or lines replaced or something else severe, I'd probably use a plumber. But in the future for this sort of thing, I definitely learned my lesson.

This is by far the best plumbing company we have ever used,  great service reasonable prices couldn't ask for anything better!

On Tuesday (10/30) morning, I noticed a significant leak from a broken water pipe.

I looked through Yelp for a plumber and found HEB plumbing. I gave her a call, (among a few other companies). Kathlyn was empathetic, but  unfortunately said her schedule was booked all day. She understood my urgency on needing my water back on and even gave me the number to a few other plumbers in the hopes someone could fix the issue same day(I appreciated her honesty!!)

My bad luck continues as none of the companies I called were available until Thursday! I gave Kathlyn a call back, and asked if she was available Wednesday, and luckily she was! She also said she would give me a call if she had any cancellations.

I roughed it without water on Tuesday (daily showers are overrated anyway).

Wednesday morning, Kathlyn calls and confirms our appt. The two gentlemen who came out were extremely professional and finished the work quickly and efficiently. They fixed the work in about an hour (Side note: several companies predicted the job would take 4-6 hrs, but I understand these things can be hard to estimate).

When it came time to pay, I opted to pay by check (They said they could accept a credit card, but would have to phone it in, so I payed by check to avoid the hassle). They even guaranteed their work for 3 months!

Bottom line is HEB Plumbing is honest, fair and respectful of your time. I whole heartedly would recommend.

This company is awesome. We have used them twice now and have received excellent service each time. The owner Kathlyn always answers the phone and is very helpful. The crew that comes out is very knowledgeable, polite, and they work quickly to resolve your issue. They fixed a faulty toilet flange in just over an hour and even cleaned up the floors after they were done. Would highly recommend this company!!

I called HEB Plumbing & Sprinkler for a leaking shower. They were out the next day, and walked me through the issue, and several options for correcting the leak. They kept me informed while they were working and their prompt and professional attitude was a welcome relief from the bad customer service I have received from other local plumbers. Definitely would recommend and use again!

I got an appointment scheduled quickly and the guys were on time and nice but they were very slow and it was very expensive. Took 2 and a half hours to replace only two valves and weren't even able to fix one of the issues. They nickel and dime you on equipment charges, travel, etc.

This company misdiagnosed an issue with my sprinkler and charged me for un-needed parts. To make matters worse, they cut into a corrugated drain pipe when digging to repair sprinkler and said nothing to me about it. Maybe they didn't realize it when it happened, but when I brought to their attention, the owner Kathlyn dismissed me.

Professional, friendly and affordable. I had called two other plumbers and got stood up for my small job. I was running out of time for a shed install and needed sprinkler reroute done quickly. HEB came out in a timely fashion and treated me like I was a valued customer.

Kathlyn Smith bills herself as The Plumbing Lady for good reason - she is a master plumber and knows her stuff, along with the rest of her crew. Are they cheap? Not necessarily, but no decent plumber is. In this area, you get what you pay for and you want someone who knows what they are doing. I even had an issue about a bill once, and Kathlyn personally and patiently worked it out with me. This is a professional plumbing company with integrity.

These guys are amazing. They have done several different jobs for us over the short time that we've had our house. They have repair our toilet, drainage system, and now sprinkler system. I have called Kathlyn for help with plumbing emergencies on two occasions in the last 3 years.  On both occasions she picked up her phone right away and spent several minutes of her time coaching me on how to fix the issues myself!  She encouraged me to try fixing things I didn't think I was cable if fixing, patiently walked me through the process, and didn't charge a penny.  I've never had such an overwhelming positive experience with a trade professional.  She knows her stuff inside and out, is honest, kind, and efficient.  I will always turn to her for any plumbing services my family and I ever need.  Our community is lucky to have her!

If you need plumbing service this is the company to use!!   Prompt, professional, and polite.  Other family members have also you'd them and couldn't say enough how refreshing they were to deal with. With so many companies today doing things on THEIR schedule, and acting inconvenienced if you cant be there when they can, it's nice to have someone actually do something on the customer's schedule.  Told me when they would be here and they showed up when they were expected.  I don't give many 5 star reviews but I'd give them 6 if I could!!

So glad I found this company on Yelp. Kathlyn came with two of her workers. While she didnt do any of the work she explained everything to us and then checked out the work.
You pay by the hour and her workers really hustled. We had plenty of time left for them to do a couple other small things for us that we hadnt originally planned on but really glad we did.
She is very trustworthy, and I really like the fact that she is a woman with her masters plumber license and more. She truly seems to love what she does and is always learning to make her business better.
Not sure how her price compares to others. However we will have no qualms about calling heb  back to take care of any plumbing needs.

Called HEB plumbing to repair a cracked shower drain pipe.  The crack had been discovered and the ceiling had already been cut out exposing the area to be worked on.    The technician starting cutting out the pipe without laying anything down under him, I stopped him to get plastic to lay down after a good amount of wet debris came out. He only had one battery to use foe both his saw and his flashlight so I provided a flashlight for the job.  Once his only bucket started getting full, I provided an additional bucket, as well as a trash can for the water coming out of the pipes.  Once the job was completed, both technicians left to get the invoice taken care of and return their tools to the trucks.  I spent 15 minutes cleaning up.  The 15 minutes was counted toward my total bill.  I also paid for biohazard protection, which included masks, gloves, plastic and buckets.  I provided both plastic AND buckets AND WAS CHARGED FOR THEM.   I contacted the owner and she offered to take off the 15 minutes that I was charged for doing the cleaning myself. However, she removed the $10 credit I had been given as a new customer discount.  I still got swindled as I paid for actual time work, did the clean up myself, and supplied biohazard materials.  Owner states biohazard charge was for face masks and gloves. However, one plumber did not have on an actual mask, it was a turtleneck type of device pulled up over his nose.  The gloves were not disposable so why was I charged?

One of my bathrooms the water would come out scolding the technician came out charged me $65 and told me that I needed to get a new hot water heater and that the reason it was like that is because it was the closest bathroom to the hot water heater so then I asking so this would go away if I bought a new one and he stated yes later I found out that he should've told me to turn down the temperature on the hot water heater

I reached out for a quote. My request clearly stated where I needed service. There was confusion I'm guessing as the person on yelp said they don't service the area that my accounts address was linked to. I replied immediately stating that my properly was within the mid cities area and they haven't responded back. Nice, really nice.

Late last night, I walked into the garage to find the 29-year-old water heater tank had ruptured -- water everywhere! First thing in the morning, I put in a call to HEB. In a total of just under three hours from my phone call, they had shown up, quoted me on a replacement, gone to fetch it, and installed it fully, including bringing some of the surrounding pipes and accoutrements up to the modern era. They did it all with a smile (behind COVID masks ;) ) and for a price that wound up being less than I had feared it could have been.

Kathlyn the owner gets 5 stars! And Chris and Eric did a good job  repairing my sprinkler head.

But, when I have people on my property I expect them to not make rude comments about my dogs. My Chocolate Lab Puppy was barking in the backyard while I showed them the leaking sprinkler head in the front yard and one of them called her Cujo. And then called them Pit Bulls. My white Boxer was inside and never even barked at them she corrected the little dogs trying to get out the front door. I have workers in my home all the time with the dogs happily greeting everyone my AC guy even tosses them balls. My Daddy always says dogs are a great judge of character. And I am polite so I did not comment on the tobacco stink and sores all over his arms. Anyone who works in yards should be educated that it is normal for dogs to bark at a gate. My pool guy walks right in and is happily greeted with wags.
