Started by Dwayne West in 1985, our central Irving location allows us to provide quality outdoor care to the entire metroplex. True to our history, the founding principle of this business has remained the same since the first day of operation: provide customers with a superior experience. Rarely will you find an employee of H2O Sprinklers and Outdoor Services that is not connected to the West Family in some shape or form. We service all types of systems, as well as provide water saving solutions customized for your lawn.
ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER
Jared has been surrounded by the lawn sprinkler business since birth. His father started the business in 1985, the year before he was born. Jared works with his father. He is a licensed irrigator, and a licensed backflow tester. He is a graduate of Lindenwood University, in St. Charles, MO. He is married, has one daughter, and is a lifelong Irving resident.

I needed help finding a valve in my yard. They showed up and had it located in less than an hour from time of call. Friendly and fast....cost me $90, but I had spent hours of my time already. I should have just called in the first place !

I called this company to locate some defective zone valves and replace them.
They came out, looked around for a while, recommended I replace some sprinkler heads, gave me a bill and left.
I did some locating of the main lines and wiring myself and called them back to let them know that their work that would require sweat and digging had been significantly reduced.
They said they might be able to come out in a few weeks.
In my estimation they are looking for solutions that fit their desire, not the customer's needs.
If you have an easy job that requires little manual labor, the other reviews indicate they do a good job, but I dont think I would count on them for the difficult work.

After posting a critical review for poor service. They promptly came out the next day and fixed the problem without additional charge and apologized for the bad service. This is the type of service I have always
had in the past from this company

Told us they would be here at 245 pm and called at 315 pm to tell me he could not possibly come till 6pm. I find this unreliable and will never use them. It was easy to find some one else who would do the work.

I hired them to rehab my sprinkler system. They charged me $300.00 and changed sprinkler heads and did adjustments. When I inspected the work, I found a leak, a badly over-spraying head and one head that did not rotate. I called them out to finish the job. They do not warranty their work, only their sprinkler heads. I had to pay them and extra $100.00, including another service call, for them to finish a job that I had already paid for. I would NEVER HIRE THESE PEOPLE AGAIN. I believe them to be dishonest.
Jacob, Dax, Josh, and Will were outstanding. Second time we have used H2O Sprinkler Systems. As before, outstanding service in all areas. The team is professional, easy going, communication great, and superb work going above and beyond. Highly recommend. James

This is the third house in which we have used this company. Through major yard remodeling, to installation of sump parts, removal of tree roots in drain pipes... You name it they do it if it has anything to do with water and your yard - whether you want the water or not!
Very highly recommended, punctual, prompt courteous, professional. Damn, anyone would think I was family the way I am saying nice things about them.

This is my husband's company and he has done excellent work on our yard and our friends and family's yards. H2O Sprinkler Systems is the go to business for sprinkler repair and irrigation.
I bought a sprinkler tune-up from Angie's List from this company. Dwayne came out at the scheduled time and then informed me he did NOT have the necessary supplies to work on a sprinkler system with him at that time and could we reschedule. We rescheduled for two days later - he called and asked to reschedule again. We rescheduled for the following Monday - He was a NO SHOW/NO CALL. During our first meeting he claimed he had NOT had time to get breakfast or coffee. I made him coffee put it in a thermal travel mug. NOW I AM OUT THE TUNE UP FEE AND THE TRAVEL MUG. WONT RETURN CALLS OR EMAILS! DO NOT USE
Dewayne West is the owner and long time resident of Irving. He has a very good staff and is very experienced in irrigation systems. I use him all the time and have referred many people his way. His brother Scott owns Four Seasons Sprinklers and he is great also. Reviewed by Mark Ondras.

Really good guy, Jacob, and his partner (Jason) fixed my system. Quick, easy and fairly priced for the work they had to do. I will definitely use them again, and also HIGHLY recommend this family owned and operated SMB to friends and family.
Completely unprofessional in every way. Can't even get them to return a phone call. Must be nice to have so much business you can just ignore your customers.
I called H2O to give me a price for a foundation irrigation system. I spoke with Doug first then someone else on the second call since I had not seen anything from Doug after 3 weeks. They both told me they would get me a price to do the work. After almost 3 months now and several calls to them after with no return call - I guess they are not interested. If you do not want to give someone a price at least tell them you are not interested.
H2O is not a good resource for sprinkler repairs or drainage solutions. They overcharge and do not have the background to come up with proper drainage solutions. Most recently, I was charged over $700 for less than $100 worth of parts and 1 hour of labor by two workers. I confirmed with two other companies after the fact that a proper charge would have been somewhere in the $200 to $300 range. I was similarly overcharged on a previous service call, but didn't have time to look into it at the time. Sprinkler repairs are not difficult, find someone who will charge a reasonable rate.

I've used H2O twice, both times for repairs to my residential irrigation system. Each time I was very pleased with the quality, speed, and price of their work.
Dwayne was on-site the first time and was straight-forward about options and cost, as well as respectful of my decision to not purchase certain products (due to my special circumstances), all of which I greatly appreciated. His staff works very well together and are able to knock out work faster than I would have expected. The times that I've had to leave a message Dwayne was always very quick to respond.
It's also important for me to comment on their honesty. When I called them up for an over-the-phone quote it came out a little higher than I was expecting, which I think was because I was overestimating the work that had to be done. Once the 30 minutes of work was completed and I received the bill it was exactly in line with what I was expecting. If they had charged the price they initially quoted (double what was billed) I would have paid it, but I would have looked for other irrigation specialists the next time I needed one. Now I'm definitely using them again as well as giving them a solid five stars on Yelp.

My best advice is dont ever trust this company... for a valve change they quoted $350 and there were three valves quoted $1000... actual valve cost is around $30. just cheating to get the visitation fee... dont ever work with them

I found this company on Yelp, read the reviews and hired them to work on my system. What a great group of people to work with, I couldn't be happier! I will recommend H2O to anyone in need of installation or repairs.
This is a great company to work with. Judy is great in the office. Jared is professional as they come and the guys on the crews never get complaints. I plan to keep referring this company to anyone needing sprinkler repair and drainage help.
Polite and willing to work with your schedule. They came out and did all repairs while I was at work and left an invoice in my mailbox. I'd recommend them without reservation!
They came out to give free estimate and told me had broken sprinkler line running under tree...was told it would take time digging and cost of $225.00. It took them less then 15 minutes for repair and still charged $225.00 when it was only beside tree!! Biggest rip-off...DO NOT TRUST THEM!!
H20 did a great job at a reasonable price, replacing a faulty valve after locating the valve boxes for me. Jacob was willing to educate me, answering questions and showing an extreme amount of patience with me, an admittedly non-mechanical guy. I'll confidently recommend them!
