HISTORY

Established in 2005.
DFW Pipe Restoration and Plumbing was established to provide innovative green solutions for water leak and pipe repair in the Dallas Ft. Worth area. Our epoxy products allow us to restore existing pipe in place without the destruction and expense of a re-pipe. Internal pipe corrosion create pinhole leaks. In fact, the corrosion is widespread and it will only be a matter of time before other developing leaks show themselves. The ACE DuraFlo® product is an NSF approved epoxy that is applied to the interior of the water pipes eliminating internal corrosion and the resulting leaks. LMK Lateral Lining® is a product for sanitary sewer pipes. Rather than tearing out sewer pipes with a backhoe we are re-using what is already in place. Whether choosing an epoxy lining product or simply installing an energy star rated tankless water heater our eco-friendly solutions provide consumers with options to save money and energy along with the ability to recycle and minimize waste.

Such hassle just to repair the faucet. We called this company to replace the faucet at our office break room. They never responded back with the proper document on time even though I had been calling them to get the it  for days prior to the service date. Eventually we had to reschedule!! What a waste of time. Secondly, the woman who answers the phone is VERY rude. I want you to know and expect that when you call. She often tells customer like 'OK...?' as if I didn't call the right number or I am asking a silly question. Then I called back after getting hit by the bigger bill than what they quoted from the diagnose (which we were charged with), this woman laughed at me as if I am being ridiculous for asking for the reason. TBH, I didn't have any issue with the owner Patrick or the repair guy, but the whole demeanor of this woman was just HORRIBLE. This makes me not only not to use this business again but also letting EVERYONE know that this business is bad. I wonder why they would hire someone like her to be the face of the business. I hope there won't be anyone else who would be treated as bad as this in the future by not using this business and spending big $$. After all, it is all about compassion and empathy in any relationship.

Do not use these guys. They are incompetent. They will not fix your problem. They will overcharge you. They will tell you that things need fixing that do not. Luckily, I got a second opinion and everything they told me was a complete fabrication.

These guys have been really great to work with!  We have had SERIOUS underground drainage issues in our house and have had to systematically replace ALL of our underground plumbing drains.  Patrick and his team have been cost effective, pleasant, responsive, and dedicated to working with us and the insurance company to get it all done.  I will be recommending them to anyone and everyone I know for plumbing issues in the future.

We used DFW Pipe Restoration to work on our tankless water heater. Daniel initially came out  began commenting the installation was not done properly. We live in a condo community, and all 150 units have the same Tankless water heaters. After talking to other homeowners in our community who used DFW, that same message was relayed to all of us. It was as though he had a disclaimer regarding his work. Their hourly charges are off the chart at 180.00 per hour. Every other plumber we have used in the past charge no more than 120.00 per hour. They came out because we had a code 12 on our tankless water heater readout ( meaning it was not working), and replaced the flame rods. These are very inexpensive parts. This did not fix our problem, and they wanted payment for the work. I indicated I would  pay them when they fixed our problem. they never came back out after agreeing they would. Daniel actually wanted another 180.00 on top of the other charges to come back out, but agreed to after our conversation. He never showed back up. I contacted another plumber who came out and within 5 minutes noticed the flame rods were installed backwards. These guys really don't know as much as they indicate. Thankfully we have found a plumber who knows his stuff

We called other companies who gave us very high quotes and DFW P+P gave us a fair and accurate quote and fixed the problem (toilet and master shower cartridge) quickly and efficiently! We are having them quote us for a new water heater because of the amazing job they have done. Would definitely recommend and use again!

DFW Pipe and Plumbing has done several jobs for me, including replacing my hot water tank, and they have always done a superb job for me.  They are on time, do the job right, and leave everything clean and tidy.  I will always call on them for my plumbing needs.

In my opinion, this is one of the most incompetent and untrustworthy companies I've encountered. DFW's brochures mentioned how clean their re-piping process was, but they left a mess that an environmental company tested and a professional cleaner had to address. The ordeal involved a 2 year nightmare and being out of the house for three months of testing & cleaning.

Ironically, my home's pipes leaked again recently. An experienced plumber just mentioned he's seen about six other homes whose pipes leaked after DFW re-piped their houses. This plumber also did not recommend DFW.

I can't strongly enough tell you to stay away from this Company.

The owners Patrick and Daniel will tell you whatever it takes to get in your door and attempt to nickel and dime you throughout the process.

I needed a hot water heater fix and called a couple other places first.  Those places advised based on the model of the unit and part, it would take 3-5 days to get the part and install it.

DFW Pipe quoted me $125 to $150, knowing the make / model of the unit and the part that needed to be replaced.  Also told me it could be fixed the same day they came out to inspect it.  After getting to the house and looking at the hot water heater, they told me they didn't have the part and needed to order it.  Unfortunately, that means they have to come back out and spend another hour (another $95) to install the part once they get it.

They charged me $150~ for the part, which I subsequently found out cost $65~ from other plumbing companies.  I was told that it was likely those other companies have better supplier deals, but I was assured I was only paying the cost of the part, not a markup.  I later found out directly from Patrick that they did in fact mark the cost of the part up and they always do - for some reason they felt the need to tell me differently earlier in the process.

During the wait for the part, I communicated to Daniel I was not going to pay the second hour as I was intentionally lied to about the $125-$150 all in cost (I did not know yet that I had been lied to again about the part mark-up).   He agreed to waive the service charge of $30, but we agreed to table the discussion until after the installation as he was on his way out of town.

Fast forward a couple weeks - I agree with Patrick to pay for one hour + the service charge.  He then tries to charge me $40 for the service charge instead of the $30 (seriously, who does this??).  After taking my credit card information, I asked and found out about the mark up on the part.

Long story short, I hope you all avoid this company.  It simply isn't worth it and there are better, more honest options out there.  I hope the extra $65 they got out of me was worth it to them...

This is about my tankless water heater on the attic.
This company has installed my tankless water heater a year ago and it took a long time to get it done after failing city inspection.

Recently I had a leak on the attic and thought that there was a broken water pipe some where. I then called a plumber professional who came and found that the leak was at the joint of the PVC pipe leading to the drainage container underneath of the tankless water heater.

I took the pictures at the leak before and after the fix and sent them to the person name Patrick Obrien. He sent his people to my home and told me that they could not determine the cause. This is not a valid excuse.

A conclusion was that he is refused to reimburse my payment and even did not share haft of the cost that I paid.

I strongly suggest you not to call this company to serve you. The owner Patrick will tell you whatever it takes to earn your business and then walk away if there is an issue.  This company claims itself as BBB +A but it is not even worthy with one star !

Replaced 2 50 gallon water tanks with much smaller and efficient tankless recirculating Rinnai system. VERY RESPONSIVE, smartest team ever seen and great service by Wesley and Cory, and the owner Patrick who personally stopped by to check in on us.  The crew was on time, thorough, explained what we needed to know, and cleaned up afterwards.  Now our 'go to' company for ALL things Water and Plumbing!
