Alex is as reliable and fair as they come. He has helped us in real binds, most recently the freeze in February. He's knowledgeable, patient with questions and honest. Will call him every time for anything plumbing related!

My garbage disposal died on me and I called around. Was very worried about getting it fixed. Looked up reviews and called this service.

Alex was the first to make himself available and I'm 100% satisfied (super happy) with his work. The reviews are totally on point. Efficient, reliable, high quality work from an insured master plumber, very polite and professional.

He and his crew member came to my home early and on time, got right to work, installed the garbage disposal I selected/pre purchased, and it works like a charm.

Most of all, Alex identified a separate problem with my sink. It was coming apart at the seam. He went to extra trouble to fix it and was very fair with his price. His attention to detail and care made me a happy client.

Emailed Accountable on Yelp explaining my issue and requested a price on water heater valve replacement or possibly replacing unit - responding stating no availability. I would have expected a response in addition to that with a next available date/time....nothing. Just said not available. Ended up emailing another plumber who responded w/available times/dates - hired them for the job needed.

I had a very poor experience with Accountable Plumbing Service. I scheduled an appointment a week out. When I called to confirm the appointment the morning of, I was told that the plumber can no longer make the appointment, and that he could maybe come the following week. It was not clear if he was going to let me know ahead of time that he could no longer make it. As this was related to a water leak, I asked if he could come earlier in the morning which he eventually agreed to do.

The task was to fix a water leak coming from my tub. The inspection when I purchased the house noted that there  was an issue with the diverter which I passed on to the plumber with a note that I was not sure if that was the issue. Since I was unable to make it in person, I made arrangements for my tenant to meet him. I told him that he can look for the leak via a door in the wall behind the shower and asked him twice to give me a call once he confirmed that the diverter is the issue or once he otherwise found the issue, and that he double check before he leaves to confirm he fixed the leak. I never received a call from him but received a yelp message that the job was complete, that he fixed the diverter, and that he wanted payment. I then called him to confirm that he double checked that he fixed the issue before he left and he said he did and that there was no more leaks coming from the tub. I then promptly paid him $200.

When I got home later that day to check the tub, it was immediately clear to me that the issue was not fixed. Water was still heavily dripping from the tub. I was hoping that he would be able to come right back out either the same day or maybe the following day to fix the issue since he never fixed the leak as I paid him to. He informed that he didn't have an opening for 10 days. Basically I was at the back of the line again.

I informed him that I was not satisfied with the service and explained why. He said I only asked him to replace the diverter, which is not true as I noted that might be the issue but I wanted him to confirm and then call me, which he never did. I provided a screenshot of the related correspondence to remind him what I asked him to do. It was also evident that he never checked to see if the diverter replacement actually fixed the problem because it is very clear that the tub is still leaking. I asked for a portion of my $200 back, but he argued with me and refused and noted that if he did come back out it would be for an additional charge.

Now a week after I made an appointment with him and $200 later, I still have a leak and will need to wait another week for a different plumber to come out.

Be careful with this plumber.

Alex was great, truly! He was on time, effective and took the time to explain the issues and how he was going to fix it. I will be using him again for any future needs.

When I did a load of laundry, water spilled out from my washer, water backed up into my bathtub and overflowed my toilet. I found Accountable Plumbing online and they had great reviews so I gave them a try. The reviews were right. Alex and Dave were great! Super responsive, on time, very knowledgeable. They even had to leave to get stronger equipment as the issue was bigger than originally thought. But they came right back and kept working until it was fixed. They did an amazing job! Definitely recommend.

Alex and his son were prompt, professional and did a great job. Another plumbing company I had out to my house told me they would have to cut a hole in my floor to fix my plumbing issue and that it would cost over $2,000. Alex fixed the problem quickly (no hole in the floor) for a very reasonable price. Accountable Plumbing Services will be my go-to for any issues that may arise in the future.

Alex installed a tankless water heater when we first moved into our house. He was prompt, professional, and the pricing was fair. He was incredibly helpful when we had issues with the heater half a year later. I strongly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a plumber.

This is your proper choice! Alex is as extraordinarily great as the reviews delineate here. He is conscientious, effective, thorough, inexpensive and personable. He answers his phone and gets to destinations when he says he will. Bravo to this company, and this man, for doing things right!

Called Alex based on the reviews given here. I left a voice message after lunch and he returned my call within a reasonable amount of time. (I can't reminder how long but it wasn't 4 hours later.) I needed a garbage disposal replaced along with miscellaneous honey-do type things. He charges per hour along with a trip charge. I'd say pricing is in the medium range. He was polite and courteous. He wore shoe covers in the house and put a work blanket down to work on, to not make a mess on my floor. He answered all my questions about other issues with my house. He never made me feel rushed. He didn't seem eager to leave for the next appointment. He is very calm and pleasant. I would use him again.

Easy to schedule using the Yelp messaging, very knowledgeable, fair pricing, and honest. He was happy to work around my dogs, which makes it easier for me. I'm glad I found my forever plumber.

Super prompt response and scheduled next day.  He had my new sinks and garbage disposal installed within 2 hours.  Very prompt, professional and reasonably priced.  He will definitely be my go to plumber from now on.

Alex was able to accommodate my work schedule and dropped by right ON TIME this morning. He was professional and courteous throughout and provided both repair services/clear communication. Prices were reasonable, in line with other local guys and well below a number of other quotes i received from larger companies.

I was having an issue with a leaky bathtub at the end of my master bath renovation.
He use his camera (good thing that he had a camera!) to determine that it was not the recent faulty installation of a new drain, but instead a small chip in the bathtub that caused the leak (likely occurred weeks ago during the tiling process).

Gave Alex a call about a minor issue with our toilet. He responded quick, showed up on-time, and got the job done fast without any issues. I've called him at least 3 times since the first request and he is officially our companies on-call plumber of choice.

I was very satisfied with the work he did, unclogging both of our bathtubs with toys that were lodged in the pipes and replacing a drain for us. We had Baker Brothers out prior to Alex and they charged more and didn't fix the problem. He is informative and courteous. He has done a lot of work in the M street area over the past 20 years, so he is knowledgable of the older homes and their plumbing. I will definitely use him again.

My kitchen sink was clogged.  I took it apart to no avail.  I called up Accountable Plumbing Services at 10am and they actually answered my call - unlike some others that went to voicemail.  They were able to come out by 1:30pm and got me squared away.  Very professional, punctual, and knowledgeable.  Definitely appreciate their quick work!

I was very satisfied with the general customer service.   Alex was prompt (even early!) and very informative during his visit.  He talked about his ideas as he worked and explained what he was finding.  He even went to the small Ace hardware store to purchase the part I needed!  They were in and out in 1 hour even with the quick trip to Ace.
However, I was not expecting a $50 travel fee from downtown Dallas to my location in the Munger Historic District, a distance of approximately 4 miles.  I do wish he had said thos over the phone.
Overall, I was satisfied with the work, but I don't know if I will call again simply because of the $50 fee.  I fully expected his reasonable hourly and to pay for the part; the distance caught me off-guard.

Alex is awesome. I finally found a plumber I can trust. I have an old house and a guest house and frequently need help. His prices are super reasonable, he's very responsive and on time. He's clean and quick and even friendly to the dogs - always a bonus. I wish I could find an Alex for all of my house projects. Highly recommend!

I am here to applaude and share the top notch service i received from Accountable Plumbing Services.  These guys were accommodating in their scheduling, prompt, expeditious, and fairly priced.  They are my plumbing service company of choice going forward, and i am excited about getting the word out about them to as many people as i can.  Good job team.

Excellent Plumbing company!!   Alex with Accountable Plumbing Services is very thorough, and goes above and beyond to make sure the job is completed correctly!   I have a pier and beam house in the East Dallas Abrams area that a recent home inspection pointed out many problems.   Alex answered my call, and immediately made me feel better about the problems as i described them to him over the phone.  He assured me he would get everything taken care of and would provide me a full report of what he repaired to answer the potential buyer's concerns.  

When he came over, i was impressed with his vast knowledge of older houses and nit picky code issues that my inspector listed.  He went through them one by and one with me explaining what was important and what his solution would be.  After fixing the issues that needed a repair, he provided the a report of what was fixed and his professional opinion the condition of many of the issues that didn't need a repair.  He will stand by his work and is definitely the person you should go to for Plumbing needs.

I admittedly don't post enough reviews, but felt compelled to review Alex as I had an outstanding experience. We had multiple plumbing issues on the house we purchased, from a faulty dishwasher drain line, to a leaking toilet, to a shower that only yielded luke warm water (despite my best youtube ametuer hour effort to fix it). Alex came to the appointment early, quickly identified the issues, gave me a reasonable quote without trying to upsell me on anything unnecessary, and got the job done quickly and thoroughly. He's an honest plumber, knows his stuff, and is very professional. I'd recommend him to anyone.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! Alex made the entire process easy starting with an estimate over Yelp messaging with a cost breakdown, and he kept me informed via texts the entire time. This was so important because the job was for my elderly parents who live about an hour away. Alex was the best price out of 4 quotes I got, and he was able to provide his services the same day!

This guy is a gem that I found here on Yelp. He is enormously reasonable, enormously responsible, enormously knowledgeable and enormously honest. I am sold on him. Never had a better plumber in my life.

We have used Accountable Plumbing Services twice, each with great results.  We had tree roots damage our water pipes and we also had a separate issue with an overflowing washing machine.  Each time Alex quickly diagnosed the problem, thoroughly explained what he found, and made the necessary repairs.  He is friendly, courteous, and very knowledgable.

This is the second time we have had Tom do work for us. First time was for sprinkler system leak and this time for clogged drains. Je and his partner are quick and efficient. Feel like they are fairly priced too. They will be our go to in the future. Highly recommended.

Competent plumber had him for the past year on my properties. Fixed leaks here and there. Understand you might be under stress Alex but this is unprofessional and a real shietty way to talk to anyone. Business may be booming but remember you will have your peaks and valleys. Good luck

Accountable Plumbing.  The name applies.  Alex gave me an estimate to come out and was within 10 minutes of the appointed time.  He spent about 45 minutes cleaning out a clogged main drain.  After he successfully completed the job he informed me that my issue is probably where my home plumbing meets the city line and that I could probably have the city come out to repair their section of the pipe.  

His price was exactly what we had discussed on the phone and for the first time in my life, I feel like I got a good experience from a plumber.   He did exactly what he said he was going to do, there was no last minute upcharging or well in order to fix this we're going to have to install this as well.  

I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to recommend Alex with Accountable Plumbing.  He's an honest guy and his work speaks for itself.

Alex was able to accommodate my work schedule. He arrived on time and explained the work being done. It took a couple visits to fix the problem, but I'm confident it has been resolved for good and not just a stop-gap quick fix.

Alex was smart, professional, courteous, and timely. I needed a small leak under my house fixed. Everywhere else I called couldn't schedule me for almost a week. Alex actually listened to my description of the problem and was able to work me into his schedule. He fixed our problem promptly and for a better price than the other places had given me.
