I needed a front door aligned as my smart door lock would not work. He also put another door handle on.  
He fixed my Q garage door opener. He programmed my phone and my wife's phone so everything works.

Jeff did an amazing job on our kitchen refacing project! Our install date fell during the peak of the  Covid-19 crisis and we contemplated postponing, but Jeff put our minds at ease and took every safety precaution to make us feel comfortable in our choice to move forward with the refacing. Our kitchen went from old and drab to new and fab!!  Excellent craftsmanship and quality product. We will have them back out to reface our bathroom cabinets next. Highly recommend these guys!

When my husband and I got stuck on refinishing our own front door I called Dov, expecting to leave a message (it was a Sunday afternoon) and get a call back during normal business hours.  Not only did he answer but was beyond generous with his time, explaining to us how to get our project back on track and encouraging us to keep at it.  Later he came out to give a quote (I wasn't 100% sold on taking another crack at our door) and gave us even more tips.  He was super responsive and I could tell that he was looking out for our wallet and best interests.  I would not hesitate to contact Dov for your door needs!

Alonzo was great. I had a cabinet door that was broken, and the manufacturer had discontinued them.
He rebuilt and reinstalled the door perfectly you can't even tell it was broken.

I had issues putting up a ceiling fan and decided I needed some professional assistance. Jeremy answered the quote quickly and price was more than fair. The team came over on time and put the fan up quickly and in a professional manner. I just found my handyman for future tasks! Awesome!

Simply, the best I've worked with. Brings great attitude and energy, he also considers you as a client foremost.  I couldn't get anyone to work on my exterior door without having to buy a whole new door, because other guys don't have the skill or the willingness to do the actual carpentry work.  Jason is fantastic, it was energizing to me to see a master craftsman at work, I can't rate him highly enough.

JEREMY and his TEAM  are professional, friendly and detailed oriented. Not to mention extremely efficient. They installed my front door and baseboards in my home and also went the extra mile by replacing my leaking washing machine valve and offered to move my bedroom furniture back in place.

I'm using them for the second time for another project in Scottsdale because I was so impressed after the first project. They are professional, diligent, detailed, fair priced and they ensure you are in love with the finish product. Finding a contractor to manage a major remodel is harder than finding a life partner. At least, that's how it felt before I found Arizona Studs. I talked to contractors who were dismissive, some who were not responsive, and still others with less-than-stellar recommendations. But from the start, Joel at Arizona Studs was easy to work with and instilled a true sense of confidence. This was our guy! Joel managed a complete renovation of our 1956 original kitchen and living room, giving us a beautiful, open-concept living space with new floors, paint, doors, and of course ... a knock-down gorgeous kitchen. Joel was not only easy to work with, he was true to his word, showed up on time and when he said he would, and saw the project through from start to finish in just over a month. We were also really impressed with the sub-contractors Joel brought in, as all seemed to have the same work ethic and demeanor.

I found Joel Brust through his IG page, brust_carpentry. A friend who hired Joel's company to install fencing in her yard referred me to him. I rarely post Yelp reviews, but the professionalism, craftsmanship, reliability, and demeanor Brust Carpentry brings to the job site, was too outstanding to not login and write him a review. I had completely rotted out front gate posts, old rusty hardware, and a malfunctioning gate that would drag on the concrete pathway when opened. He was 5 minutes early to the job. Removed/demo's the existing old gate. Went the extra mile with cleaning out all rot and applying concrete along with the pressure treated/ground contact 4x4 posts that he brought for the job. Not to mention him and his employee, Collin were of the utmost integrity a homeowner could ask for. They built a custom gate to match the existing framing and pickets to the rest of the fence, and it looks amazing. It's unbelievable how sturdy and diligent the completed work is. And there was not a single piece of scrap wood left behind. Don't shop anywhere else, these guys are gems.

Jon at GCS Woodworks provides great service and completes projects well.  He repaired a side gate at my home, which I need to have secure due to the pool in the backyard.    Jon was punctual, completed the repairs as scheduled, and was really courteous and polite.    Out of the several quotes I received from various companies, Jon took the time to explain the repairs needed, answered all my questions, and reviewed the gate.  He is knowledgeable and courteous.   I would definitely call him again for future projects.

WOMEN BEWARE

Do not book services through them. At first, this family business seemed like a great option for me, as I needed to use my vinyl for them to repair and redo my stairs. As a first time homebuyer, I was lost and really needed guidance about what to do.

1. The stairs originally had carpeting with a skirt. Where the skirt was, the drywall was damaged from pulling the carpet off. They told me to replace drywall and THEN they would do stairs. I did that for $500 and then when they finished the stairs, they left the drywall completely damaged again (see pic) the risers were also left completely unpainted, saying they don't do drywall or painting. I ended up paying $470 more again after the project was complete to finish paint and drywall. I later learned that a stair skirt would've solved my issues. I was never offered that and now it's too late. Why was the job not finished??? Why wasn't I given my options of a stair skirt?
2. My initial project start date was pushed out over two weeks because the installer had a family thing. When they gave me notice, it was for the next day at 7am. I WFH and had to move a lot of meetings (which is okay! I would rather get this project done). Well at 12pm I had an important meeting that could not be moved, I asked the installers to take a 1/2 hour break. I got a scathing email from Marilyn basically saying you don't tell our workers to stop working! -- how do you let your installers work partially outside in AZ without a break....
3. I had to bring my own materials to their office (40 min away) and had to get things measured 2x. I also ordered a doorway reducer which was completely left off the project and never made. When I asked about it, they made me try and measure the doorway and bring them materials--isn't that a contractors job? How am I supposed to measure the height of tile vs vinyl in a doorway (which is millimeters) isn't this part of the service?
4. Installers were not made aware of a specific area to do, so when I said yes that part is included I got yet another scathing email from Michael / Marilyn saying that I was telling the installers to do extra work. They clearly have communication issues.
5. When installers came back to redo some vinyl that was lifting, they tried to guilt trip me, saying we did this area and didn't know we were not supposed to do it so we never got paid -- sounds like their employers problem.
6. When I tried to get them to come back and fix that spot, Michael called me and absolutely BERATED me on the phone. I'm not kidding-- my whole family witnessed it. He yelled at me saying I was trying to cheat them out of the project. What I was simply trying to say (and could not get out because the owner Michael was literally SCREAMING at me. ) was that I was not going to pay until they came back and made a reducer and fixed the lifting vinyl. They wanted me to again run the materials up and measure myself for their communication lapse (I have emails to prove I included a reducer). He stated he would send his lawyer after me if I didn't pay ASAP --again project was not complete.

To the installers: please create your own business on Thumbtack so you don't have to work for this company. You work hard and seem to not be treated as well as you could.

Overall, if you are a women or someone who does not know a lot about Millworking, please please look to book elsewhere. I am traumatized from Michael screaming at me and the communication between multiple family members and installers for this project was an absolute mess. I ended up letting them know that I could only email from them on. STAY AWAY!!!!! Get everything in writing!!!!!

Jason was extremely responsive and a pleasure to work with. My coffee table is a masterpiece and I am so happy with the final product. 5 stars!!!!

I contacted Jaime at Jag Home Services after another handyman in Ahwatukee last minute was not able to perform the work and the replacement person failed to schedule. But let me tell you, I am so glad. I have now found a reasonable, reliable, communicative handyman that is also licensed, bonded and insured. My immediate need was to have two hanging garage storage. I will def be contacting Jaime for other jobs!
