Best Room Painting in Phoenix AZ

My pregnant wife scheduled Bob to come over to have a look at my house so I could go over all of the things we wanted to do (move some walls and add an office and a closet and update the kitchen etc). Bob arrived and greeted me with a long story about how another customer's pug bit him on the genitals before we even said "hi" to each other.

I moved past it and started walking him through our house trying to show him the things I wanted to do. He apparently doesn't have very good spacial awareness because as I was explaining the moving of walls and doors, he never fully grasped the concepts - he was unable to visualize what I was talking about.

Three other contractors at this point had gone through the same tour with me and took measurements and made drawings and took notes. Bob did none of that. As we were going through the kitchen, he stopped me and asked if I had an interior designer who was going to draw up plans. I told him that my wife set up our meeting and that I thought I was just going to go over the basics of what we wanted and explained that a couple other places had taken measurements and whatnot as we went along and presented their plans/designs based on my explanation along with an estimate.

He started getting aggressive really quickly - which baffled the shit out of me - and started talking to me about how he "could measure [my kitchen counter] and be 2 inches different from the other guy and come out with a bid that was $10,000 more." I mean, I am pretty sure that all tape measures are based on the same standard units, so... otherwise they wouldn't be used to measure things, right? I didn't say that, but it was a really weird thing to say to me.

At this point, I said I totally didn't expect any sort of set-in-stone budget or drawings or anything - I did start reiterating that I just thought he was going to come over to get an idea of what I wanted and we would go from there, but he interrupted me to say "if this is how we're starting off, then it's best I just leave" or something to that effect, and starts stomping towards my front door. I say "what? why? I didn't do anything to you... why are you...?" And he slams my front door behind him and then slams my front gate and then slams his car door and then revs his thirsty truck engine and then turns around in front of my house and then spins his tires to drive away... Minutes later, he cancels the calendar invite like a psycho.

I'm REALLY glad he left. Better he left now than in the middle of a job. He's SUPER unstable. His giant truck is covered in Americana and flags and eagles and stuff from what I could tell - maybe he could tell I'm an anti-war socialist from the cut of my sweatpants. I can be difficult to work with at times, but I know when I'm being difficult and when I'm being super nice and easy going - if this was my fault, I would admit it. I did nothing that I can think of to set him off. Best I can figure is he saw a Bernie Sanders sticker on my car or doesn't like cats or - most likely - he realized he was completely in over his head with our project.

Maybe all he can do is patch some drywall or manage someone while they lay tile. It's just a bizarre and totally unprofessional way to decline a job. I never swore at him. I never said anything sarcastic or rude. I didn't talk down to him... I assumed he knew more about what he did than I did and admitted that my wife set it up and I was just doing what I thought I was supposed to do (which was to say things like "I'd like to move this door over here and get rid of this wall and open up this room to be an office" - hoping for some guidance.

This part is supposed to be sort of fun. Planning stuff out. It gets harder and more tedious and you get more impatient as the project goes along. I support veterans and local businesses, but this guy scared me, and if I knew it was going to go this way at all, I wouldn't have told him where I live or had him over to my house. I would advise you to do the same unless you just need to patch a wall or something simple maybe - just don't come to him with a larger project that involves any sort of vision or dialogue. I'm just thankful he didn't kick my animals on his way out. Hopefully he didn't vandalize my car - gonna have to review the security footage.

(Edit - I don't think he did anything to my car, but I got him on my security cam storming off and slamming my gate and also talking about getting bitten by a dog before we even say "hi.")

We remodeled 3 bathrooms (this was our first remodel) and were very nervous about the process.  We interviewed 5 contractors and Danny's quote was by far the most detailed.  He and his crew of wonderful guys worked 6 days a week arriving at 7 every morning.  They did their best to make us feel comfortable while they worked and made sure to clean up each day.  Their work is exceptional and we are thrilled with the results.  If you want someone who is easy to communicate with, okay with last minute changes :), highly skilled, and punctual....Danny is your guy!!

During monsoon season my house was exposed to a large amount of water. My carpet was ruined throughout my whole entire house. I thought it was going to cost a fortune, fortunately I found this company and gave them a call. They sent a confirmation email with my appointment time and name of the technician. The technician didn't only show up on time, but showed up at least 30 minutes early and began working throughout my house. My carpets looked horrible, after his work was done you couldn't even tell that my house was flooded. I was more than happy with the work done by Arizona Carpet and Restoration, I will continue to use their services and I highly recommend them for use.

Great experience all around - hired for a framing job and liked the work so much we used them for additional work. Top notch quality and reliability. Good find!!

I've used a contractor once and it was a complete nightmare. I was terrified that I would have similar issues with Dream Builder Renovation and I'm very pleased to announce that they exceeded my expectations.  The price was very fair for the work I needed completed. Also, the work was completed within the time frame I was originally quoted. Maisa is awesome. She would text me throughout the day letting me know when Elvis would be arriving, what items were completed, what will be completed next and when, along with pics so I could see the progress for myself. I also liked how the work was able to completed without me  being present.
I never had butcher block counter tops before , I only had laminate. I love how Elvis brought to my attention that my butcher blocks were not sealed and he recommended that they be sealed. When I purchased my home, the tile job in my master bath was not very good (if I'm being tact). Elvis cut the tile properly; removed old caulk and applied new caulk. Now my tub looks perfect. I wanted sliding closet doors installed. Elvis picked out perfect doors and installed them. He knew exactly what I wanted which saved me a lot of time from having to get it myself. The original tile in my son's bathtub was also crooked and the tub needed to be resurfaced. Elvis took care of that as well for me. I'm very happy with the work and I look forward to calling Elvis again for future projects.

Carlos came out on a Saturday to give us an initial estimate for Painting cabinets, interior and exterior of a home we recently purchased.

His initial estimate was very detailed and he answered any questions we had. I've been super skeptical to paint cabinets as they never look quite "right" but our budget only allowed for a small update.

Carlos was very friendly and our cabinets look absolutely phenomenal. I am hard to please and my boyfriend asked Carlos to do one more cost to ensure they looked perfect.

When we are ready to paint the exterior, he will be the first person we call!

Andrew did an amazing job with our kitchen remodel. He was always accessible, prompt, detail-oriented and very knowledgeable. I would re-hire Green Home Services again without a second thought!

We were in the middle of a tragic bathroom remodel in which the previous "contractor" took the money and left. We had previously received a quote from Ellen and after coincidentally running into her we asked if she could help. She was willing to help even after we did not choose her for the job due to the competing quote being a little cheaper.

She and her team came in and repaired many errors that the previous contractor made. They did a phenomenal job and we are thrilled with the way that our bathroom came out in the end. Her team showed up when promised and worked very carefully and precisely. They did not leave a mess as the previous contractor did.

I recommend White Builder for any project that you have in mind, keep in mind that many parts are delayed beyond any contractors control at this point. (it took almost 3 months to get a bathtub).

Ellen is great to work with And keeps you informed of any setbacks or unforeseen changes throughout the process. Her team is great to work with and we thank them for fixing the absolute mess that the previous contractor got us into.

We recently moved into our new Toll Brothers home and had a challenging time looking for a good contractor that will design my entertainment wall at a reasonable and fair price.  With the recent challenges we all face with contractors taking advantage of price "spikes", and long wait time for a project to begin, Canterra Construction beat the competitor's reliability and price!  Initially, I contracted for an entertainment wall design with them.  Cathy took it to a personal level in designing my wall and brought samples of stones and tiles.  She factored in my interior designs, colors, and furniture to select the best.  And wow, my husband and I are so amazed with the professionalism, reliability, designs, and the material used for our wall that it became one of the "wow" factors of my home!  Because of this company's professionalism and awesome work, I continued to contract them for my back and front yard.  Again, Cathy understood our goal.  She uniquely put together another great design at an affordable price.  Next contract is for accent walls and designs for all my rooms.  I am excited for this project. Trying to get a contractor out to do the less exciting work is difficult right now.  Multiple contractors told me remodels only and 1 even told me nothing under 20k!  Previously I had contracted with Lowes for my door and they backed out because it was "too hard" (I kid you not!).   I was straight with Vlad about my less than exciting needs and he was more than willing to do the work. His estimate was the same as Lowes and fairly priced.

Vlad told me his team would be there at a specific date/time.  They showed up EXACTLY as promised to the minute.  They worked efficiently without need of support from me and came prepared to do the job.  I got 1 call about something they saw while working the property; this was my issue, not theirs and I appreciated the fact they told me what they saw.   They didn't mind the fact I would sneak out to look at their work (I like to watch professionals do their job; its fascinating!).  They cleaned up nicely, walked me through what they did, and I paid with a check no hesitation.

So my photos are of the unpainted result; this was as I directed Vlad and his team.  One photos is of a piece of drywall that was sagging that he replaced.
But what I would want you to notice is that the texture in consistent and lines up with the original texturate on the gypsum.  This is what a professional should do; but not all professionals actually do this!  The second photo is of an access door to my air handler that he replaced.  Not exiting; but it had to be done!

We hired Jonathan to remodel my mom's home around December 2022 and the project was finished early April 2023. I am super impressed with him: he's reliable, very accommodating and receptive to changes, great with communication, and he has great connections to get pretty much anything done. Labor and pricing are probably the most reasonable I've seen. Jonathan is quick to resolve issues and we had a great experience. I would definitely work with him again for another remodel in the future.

Keith and his crew were awesome from start to finish. I worked with Keith to complete a kitchen and master shower renovation. The tile work by Carlos is simply the BEST I've seen. The guy measures twice and cuts once and it all fits perfect. Paul the plumber knows his job inside and out!! The electricians used were great as well, despite the spray foam insulation they were able to put in new outlets and move others.

Keith is a hands on GC that goes above and beyond to make you happy as a customer. His easy professional style  is beyond his years in the industry.

Dion was prompt, helpful and listened to what I wanted to get done. He gave me a fair quote and got the work done very quickly. I will definitely be using his company I'm the future.

Emailed this company, had someone (a lady) come out to our home we had just purchased. Such a waste of time! No direction, help, suggestions, ideas etc. Never received an estimate. Poor customer service. I would not recommend this company.

No show, no call and when called, indicated he arranged an hour window to arrive, which is not true.  This appointment was made with him not through a service or other staff.  Total disregard for your time and your work schedule and with something as simple as arriving on time for a meeting in which he set the time, take note people.

I had the pleasure of using Rhino Construction to help repair a 600sqft section of roofing. Due to builder flaws, this section has always been a problem. Through years of wear and tear from the sun and the rain we did get, we had tried repairing it ourselves to save money. It failed numerous times and that led us to needing a professional who was licensed, bonded, and insured. I found Rhino Construction via Yelp and was in contact with them in less than 24hrs. Everando came to walk and provide an estimate within a few days and the job was scheduled within the following week. Everando and his team meticulously repaired the roof while keeping us informed of any hidden damages that may have come up in the process that should be addressed. The job was done in 3 days and contact with Everando was consistent, timely, and professional. When doing a final walk through for the underside of the roof where drywall and painting was required, some touch ups were needed. Everando was on the phone with his team and they responded to complete the work same day.

Overall, I am happy with the work completed, the time it took to completely , and the value that was delivered. Thank you Everando to both you and your team for a job well done. We will gladly be using you in future projects where possible.
