I came home from work last week to a house without AC, temperatures hitting the 90s and extremely muggy inside.  There was no way we were staying in that house all night with my 11 month old baby and dogs.  I was either getting us all a hotel room, or with any luck, track down an HVAC company in short notice.  I called 10 different companies (all highly rated on yelp) and left detailed voicemails.  Kevin, the owner of TX Star Srvs, was the ONLY company to return my call.  Not only did he return my call, he did so within 25 minutes of my call, and arrived at my house 30 minutes after that.  TALK ABOUT A+ AFTER-HOURS SERVICE!  He was very pleasant, professional, and understanding of my plight, having kids himself, he knew that there would be no way a baby could sleep in our house that night.

In ~45 minutes, he had the problem diagnosed, FIXED, and the AC blasting again.  I knew that I would have to pay extra for the after-hours emergency AC house-visit, but I think it was a fair price at the end of it, and definitely worth every penny.  I highly recommend this company! (side note... my bro-in-law is also in HVAC, he agreed that Kevin charged a fair price.)

Needed an outlet and breaker installed for a kiln.  They were able to come out on a Monday and by Tuesday evening I had a working pottery studio.

That in itself would be a 4-5 star rating, the team that did it was efficient, clean, pleasure to do business with.

Can I say I love my electrician and helper Luis?  Indeed I can!  We called on Dan to come out to initially address some code issues we had since we were getting ready to sell our home.  We knew we had a nasty, dangerous, old breaker box but really didn't want to invest any more money into this home.  Dan and Luis addressed numerous issues we had with our code issues in a very timely manner. (GFCI outlets)  Dan also looked at our breaker box and agreed our two breaker boxes we had were needing a major overhaul.  He provided us with a reasonable estimate and we agreed to combine the two breaker boxes into one (originally with 100 amp panel to a spacious 200 amp panel) Can I say we now have a beautiful breaker box?  Of course I can!  It is very gorgeous.  They did a fabulous job with very little down time with our electrical usage.  Dan has a great working relationship with the City of Arlington and Oncor to get us up and running in no time flat.  Please call on Dan for your electrical needs as he is very honest, courteous, meticulous. and concerned in doing a great job for you.  I have to say too Luis is a very great helper as well showing very much respect and detail to the job he was presented with.  So thankful we hired AES for our job.  Thank you both so very much. These guys were great. We had two jobs:

First, we had them replace old light switches, outlets and smoke alarms. They did a great job and ensured everything was working and cleaned up afterwards. They explained everything and answered all of our questions.

Second job was to install 50 Amp circuit breaker and run wires to new outlet. Again everything was spot on!

100% will use them again. Trustworthy, honest, fair and nice to work with.

The receptionist or owner refused to quote me pricing.  I was told an electrician HAD to come out to give me their STANDARD pricing.  The electrician came out and said he would charge me $500 to hang my TV. He refused to give me his quote via email or in writing.  BUYER BEWARE.  This company will scam you in a heartbeat.  I paid the lousy service $40 for coming out to my house.
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.  NOT EVER!!!!  Their one goal in life is to see how badly they will scam you.  I have used them before and they were great, but the new owner is a full blown fraud.
