Retired elderly couple mystified by all things electrical was impressed by the prompt courteous and knowledge of Joel our electrician, he walked us thru every step with a normal and easily understandable description of the work to be performed. Justin showed up right on time and was so helpful explaining our issue. It was a small problem and he was honest about the fix needed. Justin made a temporary fix until the electrician could get out the next day  The electrician was also prompt and fixed the issue quickly. Thanks for the honesty and the good conversation!

Tried calling twice to set up an appointment, once early in the morning and again a few hours later with no one answering the phone either time. Left a message the first time and still haven't heard from them.

This problem was resolved by management.

Terry came to provide a quote for central air installation in a updated 1955 house. During his evaluation of he noticed some limitations with the existing duct work and identified central air could not cool our upstairs properly. He had the expertise and confidence to layout the alternative and more effective ductless spilt-mini option. Terry's team also included a licensed electrician to ensure the electrical work was done properly; huge plus!

This is a Father/Daughter tag team effort to support a small business and use their services for a waterline issue in Larkspur, CO.

Father calls to schedule appointment.  Explains the situation and gives address of the house in Larkspur.  Appointment day comes and company calls to cancel appointment 30 minutes before scheduled time.  

Okay, no problem.  Let's get this rescheduled.

Daughter calls to schedule. Spoke with Ken.  He found the account, together we reviewed this issue and scheduled an appointment time for a Friday afternoon and arrival time between 2 and 4 p.m. Day of appointment I realize that a confirmation call has not been made.  I call to confirm appointment and speak with Amanda.  She claims that our appointment was overlooked.  States that the company does not have anyone available to come service our problem.  Researches further and says that the address in Larkspur is outside of their service area and will not be able to help us.  I asked that Amanda research what happened and give a follow up call.  No call was made.  

This story could have been avoided if it was communicated on the 1st phone call that the address in Larkspur was outside of their service area.

After using these guys for a couple years now, they still get 5 stars from me. I've had more great experiences, but most recently, I have to call our Josh H. for all the electrical work he did at my new house over the past week.

Josh went way above and beyond, ensuring that the entire job was done in full and to my satisfaction. He also helped me in several spots come up with viable solutions where the architecture or electrical of my house didn't provide for the best solution to work out of the box. It was clear to me that he wanted to make sure everything was finished and done right.

In a world where smaller businesses seem to be dropping the ball on me left and right (not sure why, given their need to provide good service to just stay afloat in the pandemic), Absolute Electrical continues to go above and beyond and exceeds expectations every time. They even sent thank you cards to my house after the last couple services they did.

As a new home owner I was in quite a pickle when my power kept going off multiple times on a daily basis. It got to the point that I needed to call for emergency electrical services. After calling a handful of places that were not willing to go out same day even in an emergency situation, I got a hold of Pat from Affordable Electrical Service. He was kind, knowledgable, and professional and was able to make it to my house within an hour even after working a long day in the hot 90 degree sun. He really saved me I don't know what we would have done without his services. He explained everything to me thoroughly and was able to fix the problem quickly. Furnace went out during cold snap last week right before Christmas. Tried tirelessly to get someone from the company I bought it from 9 months ago to come out and service it through their emergency line. To no avail. Excuse after excuse. Snow, 2 wheel drive vehicles, Christmas, etc.. after I had a pipe burst due to no heat I Finally punted and called Safe Home. They called me back on Christmas Eve and tried to walk me through a fix with a technician. When they came up they were super friendly and knowledgeable. Got it working.  Will always call them from now on.

Tim and David are amazing.  They were very quick to give me a quote, prompt to work, and completed everything in a timely fashion.  A detailed written quote was given, as well as different options for completing the work.  They listened to my needs and offered suggestions without being pushy or making me feel like they were trying to upsell me.  Some things took a bit more time/materials than they expected, and I was given a new quote with the exact changes and the reasons for them.  The work was completed to a standard which far exceeded my expectations.  I will absolutely use these folks again for all my future electrical needs.

Wow I can see why my conversation with plumbline Mngr. today was so frustrating, After reading sooo many bad reviews I see a pattern of not knowing how to do business. My Carrier furnaces,(two) were installed by them in 2012.  Had several problems over the years notably the inducer motors replaced 4 times. Now I'm having the same problem again. There tech came out last Friday and suspects a problem with the venting, not as it should be. This can create back pressure and cause inducer fan motors to fail. once he pointed that out, it made perfect sense.  In fairness I can't say that is the problem without some testing in the system. But he didn't bother to do any such testing. He asked me to trust him to have a conversation with his Manager and would get back to me on Tuesday. I called them on Tuesday (record cold conditions) called again on Wednesday only to get a call back from some manager only to tell me i'm no longer covered by warranty. He wants to charge $600+ for repair, but will fix the venting problem for free. This should have been realized yrs ago. never mind venting repair will only cost them $20 in parts and 30 minutes to complete and they say it's a fair compromise.
    I'm going to call Carrier and see what they have to say about there Authorized dealer not properly installing there equipment.  Maybe they can give me some satisfaction. in the meantime i will have this fixed at much lower cost and hopefully with Carriers advice figure out why this happens over and over again. Best to get recommendations from people you know. There are some good service people out there who are honest and will go the extra mile. These guys obviously have to advertise to attract fresh prey. I don't think they could survive on just word of mouth.

I had an appointment with them for today.  We have a pipe that is clogged and preventing us from being able to wash dishes or clothes.  They're too busy and needed to reschedule.  The other option was for us to pay $140 for after hours work.  So because they couldn't hold up THEIR schedule, I either have to wait until Monday or get ripped for an extra $140?  I don't think so.  Goodbye!  -Click-

They came out about 4 yrs ago to rooter out a plugged mainline.  The guy couldn't get it the first time, so another guy came out and he couldn't get it rootered out either, but they gave us a bill of something like $465 for fixing NOTHING.  Before the 2nd tech left, he wrote up an estimate that included tearing up the sidewalk and the front yard from the house to the street for $10,000-15,000!!!!  Well, the homeowner rented his own roto-rooter and struggled with it for, at least a half a day, and then with the the help of myself and one other person, we 3 managed to yank, yank, yank-out out the 3.5 ft of roots that had clogged up that pipe.  I think he spent $75 on the rented rooter.  Anyway, I think those guys are a rip-off.  We got charged almost $500 for them fixing nothing.

If you have a clogged drain or sewer line - these guys are as good as it gets for their roto-rooter service...prompt, clean and the price is right.  HOWEVER,  they are outrageously expensive on major plumbing work.  I had a broken sewer line and their estimate to fix was just over 11 grand.  Got two other estimates from BBB approved companies and both were under 6k and provided better cleanup services (i.e. replaced landscaping and stonework).   Like so many other roto-rooter type companies out there .... they are looking to make way more than the $99 rooter fee.  But I'm not sure I would trust them with much more.

DO NOT USE. They quoted us $26,000 for a job another company did for $4,000. They are a bunch of salespeople that claim they're master plumbers. Pay a little extra for a sewer line clean. Don't be tempted by the cheap sewer cleaning. They will get their line stuck and threaten to charge you $500 to cut it and leave it. Other companies don't do that.
