Milestone Electric Electrician
Pretty much super awesome. They were very friendly and since we are overly curious, we asked tons of questions to which they excitedly answered. Not a single complaint.

We had to have our circuit breaker box/panel replaced. Wyatt and TJ did a good job and got to our house on time. They were here from about 9:30 to 3:30. The work was estimated to take around 4-6 hours, but this old house had some issues to work around/fix (plus we were probably a little distracting.) Wyatt was also very helpful about giving us some hints about some other projects we are doing on our own. Milestone Electric is also way more affordable than another place we had come do an estimate.

We would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs an electrician. Really glad we found them.

Dependable Electric, LLC Electrician
I called Paul first thing on a Monday morning to see about upgrading a dryer outlet that I thought wasn't going to work for our new one. He fit me in for an estimate (with no promise of being able to do the work today, which made sense).  When he came over and we moved the dryer it turns out we were ok.

Paul took the time to answer some questions, go through a few things and even double checked some lighting work my husband had botched....errrr....did his best at.

Paul could have easily tried to charge us for a bunch of stuff or been ride and angry for the unnecessary work stop. He actually got a few calls while he was here, so I could tell he is very busy. He was absolutely professional and a stand up guy. I'd trust him to do work in the future and will definitely be recommending him.

AAA ELECTRIC Electrician
AAA and David did a large project at our private residence. I have nothing to say but positive things about our experience with AAA. They were on-time, efficient, and communicated very well with us on all of our needs. They even identified some potential safety issues and resolved them. I feel like I can trust AAA and will definitely be a return customer!! Highly recommended to anyone on the island needing electrical work done.

Live Wire Electric Electrician
We've hired Brian twice for our electrical work. First to install a ceiling fan in our master bedroom, and this past week to install a new bathroom fan and outlet in the laundry room. He was very prompt in responding to communications and the work was performed to a high standard. Definitely would hire Brian and his team again!

George's Electric Electrician
The guy they sent for our remodel over a year ago had a holier than thou attitude, slower than a sloth, was nailed on multiple violations by the county inspector, took considerably longer than stated, and put in canned lighting in the most dysfunctional pattern imaginable. He DIDN'T ASK about lighting placement (I was on site the entire time, and so was the GC), so the George's Elec guy starts putting putting holes in the ceiling willy nilly while we were doing other things (again, why would you not ask about placement, if owner and GC are right there!).  Can not imagine where they got someone so inept, as I have worked with contractors for decades through considerable real estate investing.

Fortunately, Seth came out to try and salvage the situation.  Will not use this company again, unless Seth is doing the work.

Honesty Electrical Services Electrician
Greg was very responsive and easy to work with.  We had a deadline with a new deck project and he jumped in to fix our outdoor electricity right away.  He even came out on Memorial day to finish up.  We are happy with the work and will definitely be calling Greg again for the next project.

Bothell Electric Electrician
Andrew is the ultimate professional: knowledgable, efficient, friendly and an excellent communicator. I needed to reconfigure the panel on our RV and I would still probably be doing it if I had undertaken it myself. Andrew has done other work around our house in the past and when there is electric work to be done, he is the first person I recommend. Trustworthy, caring, and dependable. I highly recommend Bothell Electric.

Keithly Electric Electrician
Their customer service has gone down hill.

Such a frustrating customer service experience. I had previously used Keithly and was happy with the quality of work and the technicians. However, the last two times I have tried to get a bid I've had a terrible experience. Most recently, I contacted them for a semi-emergency job. Their service model is that a customer service rep takes your information and then a project manager returns your call. This leaves the customer without ANY information about when a technician is available and whether it is possible to be seen quickly. It took four days for the project manager to even return my call so that I could find out when they are available. All the while, there is absolutely no electricity in half my home and a possible live wire in the wall.

Out of the other four companies I called, Keithly was the only one with this model. The other businesses I spoke with were able to quote wait times and schedules. I finally booked an appointment with someone else, since I was able to talk to a scheduler right away.

I will not be using Keithly in the future. I have some big needs in my home, and I have no desire to be placed in the black hole waiting for someone to get around to calling me back.

Daniels Electric Electrician
Too often, skilled tradesmen are terrible at the basics: showing up when they say they will, getting enough information up front so they can have the right parts, and estimating jobs correctly. John Daniels is good at these basics AND a consummate skilled professional. The fact that he charges reasonable rates is a nice bonus. I will be calling Daniels for all my electrical needs in the future.

Polarity Electric Electrician
Being new to WA, I wasn't familiar with any electricial specialists. I'm so happy I called Polarity Electric to help me with my electrical issues! They returned my phone call the same day and scheduled an appointment at my convenience.  Tony arrived on time and had everything he needed in his work van.  He repaired the ceiling fan which wasn't working correctly and also helped me with a few dimmer switches which were not working at all. The outlets in my townhouse were so outdated, he switched those all out for me too.  Tony was very knowledgeable and he also worked quickly and efficiently which I was grateful for as I had another appointment later that same day. Highly recommend Polarity to anyone needing electric work!!

Kwality Electric Electrician
I don't write many reviews on Yelp and tend to reserve them for times when I truly receive excellent service. From the prompt response I received regarding an appointment to the resolution of my electrical problem, I had a very positive experience with Kwality Electronics. The cost was very appropriate for the services provided. I highly recommend this company.

Blessed Electrical Service Team Electrician
Pros
Cheap and affordable

Cons
The owner I believe, his name was Ceicl arrived to give us our bid on a job and smelt like marijuana. Which wasn't a big deal but was very unprofessional and was not the best first impression a company could leave.
Second issue which was the bigger issue to us was the lack of professionalism and communication throughout the job by the team. On top of the lack of communication the technicians had a poor attitude when questions were asked or when I stepped out to see how the work was going.
Would not recommend this company unless your looking for the cheapest route possible.

Charlie's Electric Electrician
I have not had Charlie's Electric do any work at my house, but two of Charlie's employees were working across the street when our trailer came loose from our car. Without hesitation, these two men ran over to help and got our trailer hooked back up so we could be on our way. If this is the kind of employees that Charlie hires then I am all in when I need an electrician. I wish we would have remembered to get their names. They really saved our day, and we are so grateful.

Fixer Electrician
Our fixer was great in fixing our clogged kitchen sink.  He was quick to diagnose the problem, honest in his appraisal of what would be the best and most affordable solution, and able to get everything done.  We appreciate the convenience and honest and hassle-free process.

Varsity Electric Electrician
I made an appointment with them to repair a couple electrical outlets in my house. On the day of the appointment they didn't show up or call. I called and left a message for them to ask what and no one ever called me back. I guess they don't need new business.

Worldview Electric Electrician
I'm hesitating with a 4; it could have been anything lower depending on the day. Worldview took over the contract for a job previously bid and started by another electrical contractor, which is run (I think?) by a friend of Worldview's owner; I could never get a straight answer, which was concerning. Nonetheless, they sent out a tech to install a new circuit, ground a pool light housing, and connect the circuit for said light. Before the tech arrived, another one and his crew showed up ostensibly to drop off the materials (they claimed they'd bought them, but only dropped off a spool of ground wire). When the tech arrived, he had no materials (wire, conduit, circuit breaker, junciont boxes, etc) and no vehicle to go buy them which could hold 10' conduit sticks, so I followed him to Home Depot with my vehicle to transport the 10' sticks of conduit. By now it's ~6:30pm.... I assisted the tech until 9pm, and even grabbed my fish tape to run the wires since he didn't have one! He came back the next day and we completed all the work together. I'm pretty handy and was glad to help, but there's no way this would have been done in 2 days if I hadn't.
To be clear, the tech isn't to blame here; he worked on our job 3-5 hours each day after already working 8 hours on another one each day. Kudos to him!
Worldview did shoot me a Home Depot gift card due to all the inconvenience described above, and I appreciate it. I hope they get more organized going forward and can succeed.

Alpha & Omega Electric Electrician
Communication is trash.

When I contacted Alpha & Omega (email, my preferred method for communicating), I had already had two different electricians examine my wiring issue. They both recommended the same basic fix. I emailed the fix to A&O & asked whether the job interested them.

The owner said it did. A woman sent me their rates, I agreed to them, so we scheduled an appointment.

The appointment, in hindsight, was absurd. The electrician arrived only to retrace steps (slowly). I figured he'd get to work... eventually.

Nope. At minute 90 or so, he tells me he's leaving for another job. OK, I ask, What next?

I'll submit the information and we'll send you an estimate, he says.

He leaves. What the hey? He shows up to do a 2-hour estimate for a specific job request?

I get the estimate the next day. It's a fair price. But then, two weeks later, I get a bill for the estimate: $600 for a service I didn't ASK for or NEED!

(Should've watched the clock.)

Asked for an explanation over email... nada.

Providing easy answers for obvious questions is not a complicated endeavor. Other electricians do it. Alpha and Omega has been around since the 1980s, and they still communicate like it's... well, the 80s!

Konsker Electric Electrician
OK, I reviewed the wrong people first time! Sorry Konsker Electric in NY!

So here was my original 1-star review: Oh man, I had to teeter between the 1 and 2 stars. It's a shame; they are smart, courteous, and 100% able to do the work.. I mainly have issues with the payment processing. Robert himself came out to do the quotes and to answer questions. He was extremely knowledgeable and respectful; he quoted $390 to replace 4 breakers.

I know hardly anything about electrical work, but compared to the other quotes we got from other electricians, this was the best deal. We went ahead with it. Well two guys came out (they crammed me into their busy schedules, grateful for this!), and they found that they could not do 2 of the breakers.

Ok. Weird. So Robert called to explain everything afterwards, a great gesture. He explained that 2 breakers were in-operable, AS HE HAD EXPLAINED BEFORE.. Wait, what? I must have missed that explanation.. and I took the quote at face value, my mistake. We spoke on the phone about replacing the 4 breakers, but I guess he only meant 2. Apparently the guys missed that explanation too, because they were prepared to do 4 breakers.

It's embarrassing to be taken advantage of like this! How was I supposed to correlate that two breakers sharing a neutral equated to only two breakers being operable? I know nothing about electricity. Robert had told me that 6 other breakers weren't going to be able to be upgraded.. why not explicitly say that for these additional 2? I relied on their spoken word.. to our detriment. Well, we'll pay and move on I suppose.

Tip to future users; get everything explicitly stated in the quote! I regret not going with another electrician who specifically wrote in 4 breakers.. at least I would have had some ground to argue on. Things get mixed up over the phone. I'd like to believe that this interaction was just sorely garbled and misunderstood and only my experience, but from what I can tell.. it was always supposed to be 4 breakers, and somehow turned into 2 with some fancy electrical language that I couldn't understand. They all seemed like really nice guys.

EDIT: Robert reached out to offer a discount for only doing 2 breakers and explained the misunderstanding more clearly. He also offered to help come out and diagnose an issue another electrician caused. He wasn't able to solve it yet though, so we're teetering at 3 stars for now.
