I requested work on an electrical project with Yelp, and that is how I came across Red Line Electric.  Over the years this is the third electrician we've used  and Red Line Electric will be our only electrician moving forward.  For starters, of the five Yelp notified that we were seeking a contractor for our project, Red Line was one of three to respond.  Their electricians are very knowledgeable.  Good competitive quote, thorough review of site and job.  Once we agreed to work with them, our job was scheduled about three weeks out.  We had them install an exterior outlet, a new ceiling light electrical box for an existing electrical run, and a new custom light on the ceiling in the foyer.  They were fast, did a solid job, and clean.  If your on the east side and in need of electrical work, consider Red Line Electric.

Updated our meter and brought our mast to code. Reasonable and responsive and worked hard to do the job right and stick to the estimate.

I wish there were more stars to give! We hired Mirsky to do a know and tube replacement on our 97 year old house. We got bids from four different companies but decided to go with Mirksy based on their assessment, approach, and professionalism; they weren't the cheapest but also not the most expensive. Best decision for our house we've ever made! Mirsky was transparent, courteous, efficient, and timely. The way they worked together as a team throughout the house was impressive. They even got the inspection completed the day after they finished the work! We will definitely be hiring Mirksy for any additional electrical work.

Had to get an outlet installed on very short notice. After reaching out to several electricians, I was sad to learn that everyone was booked for months. But Greg and Sarah found time between bigger jobs to come in and complete the job quickly and efficiently. They were really cool to meet and talk to and I will definitely be using them again the future!

We had a light go bad at our entrance vestibule in the condo building. It is a safety issue because it's dark in the morning when we leave and dark at night when we get home.

An appointment was promptly scheduled, and I sent images of the fixture and the solar panel to ensure all the information was conveyed correctly.
They arrived on time for the appointment and had all of the parts needed to fix the problem within an hour.

The invoice was very detailed showing the charges for the parts and charge for labor. It was within the price we expected for prompt service and commercial parts.

Exact Electric staff and electricians are really good at what they do and communicate with you about what needs to be done and why. Very rare find for this type of trade.

Eugene and the team were great to work with! They were super responsive, affordable compared to others we called, and were able to come quickly to resolve an electrical issue we had. We would highly recommend working with the team.

Tapps Electric is either incompetent, dishonest, or both. The owner Will is rude, unhelpful, and does not care about customers. I lost count of how many times Tapps Electric provided false information and did not return calls and messages left to the office. Multiple estimates for different jobs I received were incomplete or contained false information. Due diligence and professionalism were totally absent. Only after work finished and failed was I told that if I wanted anything to actually work, it would cost 4x the original quote, even though everything was identified before work started. Either it was known the planned job wouldn't work but work proceeded anyway, or it should have been known the job wouldn't work based on the facts that were identified in advance. Those explanations reduce to dishonesty or incompetence. The owner says it's not their problem. Responsibility appears to be a foreign concept to Tapps Electric.

In addition to the false information, general incompetence, and waste-of-your-time  owner, Tapps Electric technicians also quit the company and left in the middle of a job, damaged my interior walls, left behind giant messes of debris and garbage each time at each site, left the job as done when it wasn't, caused my overhead wires to smoke and burn which could have burned down my garage, no-showed on appointments to troubleshoot a failed installation after I had paid in full, and wouldn't return phone calls about the no-shows. This install was supposed to take one day, and instead it took more than two months of failed visits, unreturned calls, and no-shows for the owner to say 'too bad, we took your money and nothing works, and we knew it wouldn't work or should have, but that's your problem'.

Do yourself a favor and avoid Will and Tapps Electric.

First of all, Kristen was very responsive to our initial inquiry and provided great customer service and communication throughout the estimating and scheduling process. Donald and Daniel did a superb job hardwiring our new video doorbell and some sconces. They made sure that everything was set up exactly the way that I wanted it. I would definitely consider hiring this company again for my electrical needs.

Great job by Dylan and Austin with replacing 2 exhaust fans in bathrooms and troubleshooting an outlet. Quick and efficient.
They will also handle product purchase as well if you don't know what appropriate one would be to use.

I had these guys come and help me light my business sign which was kind of a mess due to the rental unit having been remodeled so many times. Ricky followed up with the job to get it scheduled, stayed in touch about when the work could get done and figured things out in no time. He even cleaned up a bit afterwards. Great service.
