Best Faucet Repair in Seattle WA
Matt Miller and Justin Hardman are just winding up with the installation of two heat pumps in a home I just purchased in Seattle. They represent Seatown exceptionally, with both working hard throughout the day, yet taking time to answer questions. They are quite knowledgeable about their product ( Mitsubishi Heat Pumps) and you can tell, quite proud of their skills and work ethic. I highly recommend Seatown Electric if you are considering using highly efficient heat pumps for heating or cooling.

Eco Electric installed a QuietCool fan for us. This is a fairly new product in their offerings and one that is sorely needed in Seattle summers. I was very happy to find they installed them, because not many companies do. Seth reached out to me very quickly, and came over to check the feasibility and to explain the product to me. He was clear about the options open to me and helpful regarding helping me get the permits needed. Robin from their office helped me apply for the permits and even kindly offered to help me schedule the follow up inspections if necessary. I'm going to try to do it myself, but it is reassuring to know I can ask if I need help. Paul and Robert did the installation. They were on time, pleasant and did a great job, and tidied up meticulously afterwards. I also need to mention that Seth drove to get a grate that wasn't in the box (no fault of Eco's). I got them to give me an estimate on some future jobs as I would be happy to hire them for future works. All in all, a smooth transaction, done in a timely manner, and I can't wait to see how the QuietCool fan performs this summer!

Our fixer was great in fixing our clogged kitchen sink. He was quick to diagnose the problem, honest in his appraisal of what would be the best and most affordable solution, and able to get everything done. We appreciate the convenience and honest and hassle-free process.

An outlet in our kitchen stopped working and we had a few other outlets in our place with the same issue. I called Dean and he was just finishing another job and able to come over within 20 minutes. He was super thorough about the issues with each outlet and even taught my husband a few things about the wiring. Overall, we could not be happier with Dean's work and would definitely recommend him for any electrical work.

Will just finished a 3rd plumbing job for us. Each job has been done exactly as needed and for a reasonable price. Will goes above and beyond great service to give fantastic service. It's hard to find reasonably priced plumbing services that are done so well. Actually, on the 2nd job, he fixed a problem that a previous, very expensive plumber had messed up. We'd hire Will again.

Terrible experience. Cost $550 to replace a cartridge- 1 hour of work. Was originally going to do more expansive work that would cost $1200 and then we asked if there was another solution simply for a leaky shower faucet.- that is when the cartridge was replaced. Completed the work, apprentice on the way out stated It must be nice to be rich- something along those lines and left. A few weeks later it starts leaking again (this was in the fall). Husband did the same work, bought another cartridge that cost $50 and now its working well.

Called Beacon to unplug a bath tub drain that had a clog farther down the pipe than I could reach with what I had. They came out in a timely manner. Plumber finds the clog about 4 feet down and pulls up a giant fist size wad of hair with a long tail then proceeds to knock it off his snake and back into the drain pipe even though I had a bucket ready to dispose of it. I asked why he did that and asked what happens if it clogs further down the line. He said not to worry if that happens call them out again then promptly charges me $500.
Several weeks later I discover the kitchen sink on the lower level than the bath tub is now backing up if I allow the water to run for a minute. Thanks for nothing Beacon. Guess I'll call Southwest Plumbing this time.

If I could give zero stars I would. Came out and said everything was ok and we paid our bill for what they did. Only to get a new proposal just before our house was to go on the market. Terrible communication and felt like a scam. I've heard others had the same complaint about this company. I would never refer anyone to them.

Final Update: Fixer was finally able to come out to my house but unfortunately, they weren't able to fix any of my electrical problems. The good news is that they didn't charge me for the visit, but I had to get an electrician in to fix the issues (turns out it was a bad switch causing one of the issues and a loose wire in the back of another switch causing a separate issue.
The person who came to look at the issues was nice and very courteous, so that's a plus. He also told me that the issues during the storm has caused the company to re-think their automated system for booking and communicating with customers. I'm sure when this works it's great, but when it doesn't it's a huge PITA for you as a customer so I hope they get this resolved soon.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend Fixer for electrical or complicated issues but would give them another chance for more simple or straightforward issues.
For that I'm increasing my review from two to three stars.
Update: Fixer returns my call and will be sending a manager out to see if he can fix my issues. The person I talked to on the phone was apologetic and much more transparent about the real reasons for canceling, which turned out were not related to weather at all.
I'll update one more time based on how well this is resolved.

I called while we were selling our house. All our outbuildings had no power all of a sudden. The technician sent was prompt and friendly. Our power was back on within an hour. Prices were very reasonable and I am very pleased with the service. With other electricians I have used I felt like they would find more problems than necessary to charge more money. That was not the case with Resicon. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

I called this company. They showed up in a timely manner. Our water bill quadrupled in four months, They suggested and I agreed to a completely new waterline from the street to the house. They quoted me $53K. I mentioned I was a veteran and wouldn't be financing through them. They stated the best they could do was $41K minus 5%. That brought the total to $43K. I put a $1K deposit down. I then asked since I am filing an insurance claim would they work with them? They responded they don't work with insurance companies. My insurance also informed me that since the water leak was outside of the house they won't cover the necessary leaking waterline replacement. I told South West Plumbing to please hold on the agreed upon work. Since we are in unincorporated Snohomish, our local water company put me in contact with their contractor. He (his company) has worked with many of our neighbors. He quoted me $7,600. Of course I jumped on that estimate. His crew came and completed the work impressively in one day. He billed me for exactly what he estimated.
I have made multiple attempts to contact South West Plumbing to get reimbursed the $1K minus their show up charge to the house of course. First they told me they have no record of me putting a deposit. Funny since I have a copy of the agreed estimate, noting me paying the deposit, and my signature. Next call they put me on hold twice then I was informed that the account manager would call me within 24 hours. That was two days ago.
This company is untrustworthy and shady in my experience.
I will be getting my deposit back. That is NOT free money for them!!

I hired Black Hills to do a routine service on my heat pump in June 2021. They told me everything checked out and charged me $200. That was the agreed price, so no issue.
5 months later, the heat pump experienced a problem, so I called Black Hills back out. To their credit, they were able to schedule this pretty quickly, but things went downhill after that.
The tech investigated the problem and told me that the contactor welded itself closed and would need to be replaced. Interesting that this occurred not 5 months after it checked out fine. But here is where things went south. He charged me $467 to replace the contactor - in addition to the $149 diagnostic fee. But checking with friends in the industry, this should have cost no more than $50.
Why so expensive? Because the on-site techs don't earn much for making the diagnostic call, but rake in coin based on what they can charge unsuspecting homeowners.
Don't use Black Hills. Find a reputable HVAC contractor to avoid overcharges like this.

I would like to give a shout out to Bradley and co for their commitment to service. We had a problem with our heat pump and they sent Bradley a great distance on the weekend to troubleshoot. He stayed long after dark to make sure it was working before he left. Great customer service - they always pick up the phone and have very pleasant people interacting with customers. I always feel heard and respected and they go out of their way to get to everyone who needs service.
