Best Drain Cleaning in Seattle WA
Seatown Quoted me $900 to replace a toilet flange.
This quote only stands out cause I managed to receive quotes from other businesses ranging from $300-$550.
If you are searching for a plumbing service I'd highly recommend doing some research before shopping around for service providers.

Our Fixer came to help solve a quirky circuit breaker and GFCI problem; after discovering the simplest solution in a matter of minutes, he stayed on to take care of another small electrical socket fix while he was there. Great communication up front, timely notifications of his arrival, and polite and fun in person to work with and explain the situation to - would be delighted to use them again, and I even learned a little about our electrical setup for the next time.

Requested a quote on yelp and got a response within minutes of posting. Fast professional service during hours most other companies won't even answer the phone. Thanks Will

We had a pipe spring a leak on a Saturday night so we turned the water off to the entire house. Called first thing Sunday morning and Hunt's Services replied promptly and were out in about an hour to an hour and a half. Alfredo was very professional and knowledgeable and fixed the pipe to our complete satisfaction! Of course it did cost us a bit more since it was a weekend and fell under emergency service, but we were told upfront what the upcharge was and decided it was worth it to us to get our water back on to our home. Would definately recommend and we will be calling again the next time we need a plumber. Thank you!

My experience of Southwest Plumbing was that they were prompt, professional, clean, knowledgeable of heating units (both the unit and filtration throughout the house), and all around AWESOME.
I was in distress. I woke up at 6AM and discovered one of my cats was missing and the heating vent cover had been moved aside. I called down to him and a faint mewing confirmed that my cat had indeed fallen down the heating vent.
To top it off I went through my back door to get into the crawlspace under the house, closed the door behind me while still in my jammies, and effectively locked myself out.
A friend and I walked to the Fire Station a couple blocks away and got the phone number for Southwest Plumbing from the Dex phone book. We gave Southwest Plumbing a call and a woman named Theresa answered the call, realized our distress over our cat, and had someone dispatched within the hour.
Evan Pauls and his assistant arrived within the hour and got the specifics of the situation. They then went immediately to work. They were very prompt and professional -- my friend even commented on feeling bad about sending them down into the dirty basement since their uniforms were so clean!
Evan Pauls and assistant looked at the heating unit, opened some panels, and found my cat sitting in the return vent. They put it all back together for me, changed the filter, fixed the other vent we had opened before calling them, and saved my cat! I am ever, ever, ever, EVER so grateful to Evan Pauls and his assistant, as well as Southwest Plumbing!
Evan Pauls and his assistant were so knowledgeable, polite, punctual, and just immensely awesome.
At the end I turned to ask about the bill and Evan shrugged and told me not to worry about it. Later Theresa, who took our initial call, called us back to check and see if we had been able to get the cat out of the heater.
I am very grateful for the good fortune of such a professional and thoughtful crew - including the professional crew dispatched to my residence and the woman on the phone - all of whom made a truly chaotic and stressful experience much more personal. I am truly relieved the crew was able to get him out and that he is doing okay.

**I would not recommend - here's why** We went with Black Hills because they were an approved contractor on Tacoma Power's website for eligibility for a $1000 rebate for a new heat pump installation, and we also had them install a new furnace. They were friendly enough when I called and were able to get us scheduled quickly. Two guys came for the install and worked all day to get it installed. We were initially impressed. System worked great. But after a couple of months, our smoke detectors randomly started going off one afternoon. I pulled down the one in our bedroom to get hit with a decent amount of water that had leaked from the attic, through the ceiling and into the smoke detector which is what caused it to go off. My neighbor was home and crawled up there to see if he could identify the problem while I called Black Hills to get someone out here. There was a pipe that was fully disconnected, lying on the floor of my attic with a water puddle in front of it. The technician came out - I told him what my neighbor saw. He went up there, came down and told me that pipe was essentially useless and that it was only for cleaning and maintenance, that it didn't need to be attached- and that he couldn't identify the problem but put a sensor down so if we experienced another leak our system would shut off and we could call them right away. We didn't turn the system on for a couple of days. On the third day, we turned on the A/C, and within 30 minutes our system shut off. So I called back and they sent another technician out. My husband went up into the attic, and saw that the pipe that the first technician told us was not necessary and didn't need to be connected to anything - had been GLUED onto where it was actually supposed to be, connecting it to the rest of the system. Odd, since he told me it was not necessary at all and that couldn't have been the cause of the leak. The second technician was wonderful, educational, helpful and he corrected the actual problem (so far anyways, it's been a couple of months with no issues). Furthermore - I had placed several calls and sent several emails to Black Hills to get the documentation needed to submit my rebate application to Tacoma Power. I usually did not receive a call or email back but if I was lucky enough to actually speak to someone, I was met with resistance saying they only submit paperwork for rebates for PSE. I was not asking them to submit my paperwork, only asking them to forward the necessary and required documentation, which I provided them in a very simple list form. A gal from Tacoma Power even sent a few emails on my behalf with an even more descriptive list of the required documentation. I finally spoke with a manager at Black Hills who told me he would make my paperwork for my rebate a priority. I never heard from him after that and I was never able to reach him again - either not getting emails back or being told he was unavailable every time I called. I was notified by Tacoma Power that my rebate application had been rejected because it was incomplete - so we lost the $1000 rebate which is quite a bit of money to us. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed in the service that we have received from Black Hills and I would not recommend them if you're looking for a company to be helpful, responsive and transparent.

I'm so grateful that Ismael and Brian came today.
Our main water line broke underground between the meter and the house.
I was able to dig the hole and pin-point the issue, but I was unable to fix the issue myself.
I decided to call Beacon Plumbing 425-679-9500 based on google search.
The operator stated upfront that there would be $100 charge for the visit and that the crew would be at our place within an hour!
The crew called me before arriving to ask more details about the issue, so that they can come prepared with all the parts needed.
In an hour, Ismael and Brian arrived at our place (7pm), inspected the issue and provided clear price estimate.
They've been very detailed and explained clearly what they would be repairing and even shown me the materials they would use.
I accepted the price estimate and the crew started working on the repair - me watching them so I can learn.
Both Ismael and Brian were very professional throughout the repair.
They disassembled the fittings and re-done the connections. It was not an easy job as the main water line was quite deep underground and there was not much space to work in.
Ismael and Brian helped me understand what they are doing and why throughout the repair.
They've very detailed and made sure that no debris/dirt gets trapped in the pipes, they've even vacuumed the pipes before making the connection.
After the repair was done (9pm), we did turn the water on and let it run for a few minutes, from the outside hose bibs, to flush any debris, and to check if the new connection is not leaking.
Then in the house to make sure we have running water in the house.
Ismael double-checked the connection for any leaks before completing the job.
After the repair, the crew suggested and did put a yellow stripe around the hole, so that nobody can fall into it.
I'm so grateful for the amazing job that Ismael and Brian did today.

Fixer seems like it would be a great service if they were better about screening people out. We contacted Fixer for some help with an exterior door and they booked it without telling us that their contractors are not permitted to do structural work like reframing.
The Fixers who came out were very apologetic. It sounds like this happens all the time, and the Fixers regularly get sent on jobs they can't do.

I called while we were selling our house. All our outbuildings had no power all of a sudden. The technician sent was prompt and friendly. Our power was back on within an hour. Prices were very reasonable and I am very pleased with the service. With other electricians I have used I felt like they would find more problems than necessary to charge more money. That was not the case with Resicon. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

A week ago we woke up with no heat and power in a few areas of the house. We weren't sure it was the heater itself or an electrical problem. Called a few places, Dear was the only one that was willing to get someone out within 2 hours after I called, which was important to me because I have an 82-year-old mother. The tech arrived within 1 1/2 hours, we reviewed the events that led to us not having heat. He did his inspections and felt it was an electrical issue, so they had someone else come out to fix the problem. Dear always kept me informed of who was coming to the house along with a pic of the person. After further inspection, it came down to it was the heater that was the problem. T the fan was freezing up and locking up power causing the breaker to blow, which affected the other areas of power. After further discussion, we decided to install a new heat pump system. Because it was Friday it was going to take a few days before they could start the project, they brought us space heaters to use in the meantime. This was going to be an expensive project and one of the things I did appreciate about DEAR is that they had 3 financing plans to offer, we chose 12 months deferred no interest. The next morning we did get another quote from somebody that was recommended to us by our Handyman. And I will tell you they were about $4000.00 cheaper. I discussed this with the David and he was able to shave off some to be a bit more competitive so we did decide to go with them because of 3 reasons, 1) their customer service is excellent, 2) the equipment is a few notches better, and 3) the financing. We had a few delays in getting the project started, they did not get all the equipment delivered and they were working hard to get it resolved and the approval from our HOA took longer than expected. A week later the project finally (2-2-18) starts. They arrived promptly and got started right away. It was an all-day project, but now we have heat!!! I am completely impressed with their employees they are courteous and professional. The guys that they sent out to do the install were respectful, friendly and professional. Thank you to David, Nick, JW, and Sean, we love our new heating system, it is so quiet.
