4) What even is his name? You'll get conflicting information. Probably none of them are real.
5) Makes excuses for everything
6) Constant mind games

Derek was fantastic - efficient and effective.  We had a whole list of electrical issues, and he tackled them one by one.  He didn't just do what we asked, he advised us on better ways to make things work - like getting better LED bulbs so that we didn't have to change out all of our dimmers, which saved us hundreds of dollars.  He also solved some mysteries with our wiring that others before him gave up on - like finding disconnected transformers that were hidden in our basement.  And he was fast!  Took him less than 5 minutes to change out each old smoke detector high up in our ceilings, including adding new wire harness and mounting plate so that everything looks brand new.  He listened well and clearly explained the easiest, most cost-effective ways to solve our electrical issues.  His hourly rate was in line with others, but the quality of his work and his speed were terrific.  We hired him because he came highly recommended by friends.  It's good to know that we have such a great electrician that we can trust.

From the moment I contacted Dependable Electric I knew I had found the right company to rewire two outlets in a bathroom of our house built in the 1950s.  Paul was responsive on the phone and quoted me a cost for coming to troubleshoot.  Frank and Tim showed up right on time, were personable and professional, listened well to our telling of the problem, then got down to work.  My husband briefly checked in on them twice during two hours they were here and appreciated their expertise.
When the job was successfully completed, the charge was exactly what Paul had quoted.  We highly recommend Dependable Electric.

Dave is Seriously the BEST electrician out there!!

He's honest, ethical AND works his tail off when he's in your home. He wastes no time getting to work, nor does he waste time chit-chatting while he works. Coming from a large family of Italians from the South, I cannot help but be awe inspired by David's stupendous work ethic.

On top of it all, he doesn't take your wallet to the cleaners while serving you in your electrical needs.

My husband and I did a full remodel of the entire downstairs by ourselves. We didn't have extra money to be paying all sorts of people to do work that we were capable of doing ourselves.

Obviously we knew nothing about electrical work and needed to call in a professional. Dave is now our electrician until he retires. I will gladly give him my hard earned money because he works just as hard for it that I do.

It's pretty rare finding good contractors that are affordable. Greg has been a great help with troubleshooting our issue along with helping upgrade our existing lines.

Andrew and RJ helped me with a major condo renovation project by covering or removing blank outlets, installing new or relocating old outlets, adding LED wafer lights, and modern wall heaters. They were excellent at what they do and made sure that the quality was perfect before leaving the job site! They helped respond to installation questions to pass the final inspection from the city and I couldn't be happier.

I work with a lot of contractors, and it was refreshing to work with such professionals. I was originally confused about how to schedule a consultation, but Ryan responded quickly to my call for help and straightened everything out. He listened to what I wanted and gave a fair bid on the project. He was also totally patient and rolled with several changes I made before I decided on the final project to be done, a reduced scope of work, and he adjusted the invoice fairly and his adjustments were fair and no hassle. The team they sent out to do the work, Matt and Rudy, were great communicators and very careful in their work. They asked me before making even the smallest cut into drywall or siding needed to complete the work and explained accurately what that would be. They were also able to listen and hear (which is fairly rare I find) to what I wanted and were careful in measuring and placement of the lighting so it looks great, even to someone who is design focused. I appreciated that everyone on the team I worked with was honest, did what they said they would do, showed up when they said they would, listened and understood my wishes, was fair in pricing and payment, and made this project an easy transaction and I am very happy with the result. Everyone was also respectful and just good people, which is nice when having someone work on my house and also having them in my home. Thank you.

Dave and his team did a great job re-wiring old knob and tube in my turn of the century West Seattle home. Great communication throughout, super mindful of cleaning up after themselves, and were able to get the job done ahead of schedule! Good advice about possible future projects as well. I highly recommend!

I have used them a bunch for many repairs and find them to be very helpful. They care about making sure work is done quickly, correctly and are very clean. Bjorn is awesome! Its really hard to find an electrician who will handle small jobs and big jobs. This company loves doing all sizes of work and really knows what customer service means.

Reign City got back to us almost immediately with an availability the next day. Gerry kept us in the loop on our fixture replacements, and when we had the the wrong fixture for our situation he told us what we could do to. He charged us less because we didn't get the second fixture replaced but he did put the other light back up so it wasn't an unusable room. Thanks a ton, really trustworthy, helpful tech and easy experience.

Chad called as he was leaving the job scheduled before us and gave me an expected arrival time. He was professional, patient, and determined to fix a problem that ended up being much bigger than either of us expected. It is clear he takes a lot of pride in his work and he was even great with my pup who is not crazy about new visitors in the house. I didn't feel like he was rushed to find a quick solution and get to another job - in fact, very much the opposite! He was so thorough and by the time he left everything was up and running again. He gave me some advice on a future project to help save some money down the road, too. I had Hunts come to my home in November when it really started getting cold because my old furnace went out. They responded quickly and came out that week (2 kids my wife and I am freezing space heaters weren't cutting it) the guy that came started off well he wore booties dressed in work clothes seemed professional then he diagnosed my furnace that's a bit over 20 years old. He said the part that went out isn't made anymore so unless I can find it used they need to replace the whole unit. (Can't confirm this because they took the old one but talking to other professionals not very likely old furnaces are often able to be repaired) then the only furnace they had available was almost $10,000 but very efficient (no A/C with this unit gas unit) has a fancy 2 stage fan and things we weren't really concerned with. Luckily they had a finance plan usually would of shopped around but we were all freezing so we got the unit.

Once the unit was installed the house was nice cozy and warm again.... On the bottom floor due to the fancy fan it wasn't pushing enough air upstairs like our old furnace did. So we paid almost 3x what we could of and got a furnace that didn't work as well. Obviously the technicians get a cut for the more expensive equipment they sell and make the customer fell like they need it. I did give them a chance to try and fix it and the guy came and made it so the fan is always on basically making it less efficient than my old one. Only positive thing I have to say is the lady on the phone seems really nice and they were able to respond quicker than others although I wish I would of waited for someone else.

I hired Brennan to replace an older electrical panel, which needed a grounding wire and updating the service panel. Joe came out to give me a quote. They were the most responsive of the MANY electrical companies I had contacted for my job. The front desk staff was wonderful to schedule with, they worked with me for a later time. When Joe came out he was very honest and personable. I felt comfortable knowing that this company would be in my home.

They finished the project in two days and took care of everything. I would highly recommend them!
