These guys were great.  I needed an electrical outlet installed on the inside of a cabinet that I wanted to use for flat panel TV I needed mounted nearby.  Stephen answered my call personally and while discussing what I needed done said his company could do the entire TV mounting operation as well.  Stephen drove to my house in Laurelhurst within the hour and gave me an estimate.  Stephen sent Mike to do the work the next day.  Mike was as professional and courteous as Stephen.  These guys are great.  They charged me exactly what they estimated the cost would be.  I'll use Stephen and Co. every time I need electrical work done.

I have learned over the years that electricity was something best left to the experts, Seth was my first call--and my only call. I had planned to get bids from several electricians, but once I talked to  Seth at SMC Electric, I stopped searching. Not only was he prompt, honest, and very courteous, he was also extremely professional. Seth was very upfront with project costs and time, and had everything done well ahead of what was promised. Fantastic!!  Where to begin?  Going through a remodel of our 1986 Lake Wilderness home has proved to be stressful, dealing with contractors, scheduling, and living in the home simultaneously is crazy, but Rick (the owner), came out (on time) for his tour to go over the work we needed (which I'll explain later), gave me a competitive estimate, but more importantly, knew what I needed/wanted before I even did.  I didn't have to over explain if that makes sense?  
Enter Steve and Oreo.  These two guys have been working together for awhile, and it shows!  Steve walked the house with me a few nights before starting the work, he took good notes, he (like Rick), understood what we were going for and displayed a level of confidence that I just felt like I could trust.  I wasn't disappointed.  He and Oreo showed up at 8am everyday they worked to get the job done.  They communicated well with me while I was at work, they worked well with the other contractors in the house, and more importantly, did AMAZING work!  
Now, here's a brief description of some of the things they did:  We had 17 can lights installed throughout the house, all new switches and outlets throughout.  A few added switches also.  Installed 8 new lighting fixtures, wired our TVs in 3 locations (for hidden wire capability), removed old electrical wall heaters that were suppose to have been disconnected (but weren't all), and inspected them to be sure they weren't active anymore.  They were in the attic, in the crawl space, and everywhere in between knocking out their work like they knew what they were doing!  Our house is now safer, well lit, updated, and ready to be lived in right!  
Was it expensive?  Yes, relatively, but we wanted to do it right the first time, and not piece-mail it over many years, and boy we were not let down!  
I am definitely having them back for outdoor jobs in the future, or any other electrical needs we may have.  Professional, courteous, humorous, knowledgeable, and fast!  Go with Wilderness, you will not be disappointed!

David is a mensch, and a careful, efficient and effective electrician.  He responded to a sunny Sunday afternoon voicemail of distress in under 15 minutes and was at our location 15 minutes later.  He diagnosed our issue carefully and after assuring himself that the fix wouldn't cause other problems, got the job done and the power running again.

Over extended??

I called for an estimate. They explained they weren't taking any new projects and I should call back in 6 months... What!? 6? Yes, six.

I was told that my fan installation would be $75 per hour and would take about 4-6 hours. The person quoting left off the fact that it was $75 per man hours and that it would take a team of 2 to complete the job in 4 to 6 hours. Since this was a two person job, the total charged per hour was actually $150 per hour. This is pretty misleading when deciding on having the work done and leads to a bit of shock when the invoice is presented.

On a positive note, the staff performed the work as stated, they completed the job within 4 hours, and were very courteous so I cannot complain about the workmanship.

Our basement bathroom lost all power - not good - at the same time my neighbor's were having electrical work done.  The husband walked over and asked the electrician if he could stop by and take a look.  Not only did he make time for us, he found the broken connection, fixed it and was out the door in under an hour.  Really nice guy, fast, honest and affordable work.  What more could you want??

I was looking for a professional, no hassle, honest local electrician and after reaching out to half a dozen local businesses John responded the quickest and provided the best quote.  All other quotes were way out of range for the install and some required an initial visit - even though I provided photos, location and other specific details.

The job was to install a 50amp receptacle panel box Nema 14-450R 125/250V that I had purchased.  It was not a big job, and all that was required was an additional breaker, while the box was to be installed right next to the breaker box about 3 feet away.  All I did was provide photos and John was able to come out the very next day without an initial visit.

He was courteous, knowledgeable, professional, quick and above all honest.  The install took about an hour and I now have a trusted local go to electrician.  In short, speed, value, and workmanship rocked.

If you have a residential electrical job, you have to consider going with John and Sparks Electric!

Scott was the lead for the team that came out to install my Heat Pump, and he was absolutely fantastic.  The team members were so respectful, and the job was done in under 4 hours.  Incredible efficiency and very good quality units.  Bill came out for the consultation and recommended the best product for my need.  Incredibly affordable, worked the instant rebates into the estimate and provided me with everything I needed.  Amazing company, highly recommend to anyone in need of AC!  The units work so well and cool the rooms in minutes!

Do not count on this company ever showing up. I called on Monday, got a window of 11-1 for my business for them to show up today. I just called corporate, they didnt see me on the schedule and then asked me a couple of details and hung up on me after I confirmed two details.  

Pretty much worst service ever.  Avoid at all costs.
