After reaching out to several electricians to have a light fixture installed, and a TV mounted, I gave Fearghal @McEleney Electric a call. I am so glad I didn't go with 'Joe Moe' off Amazon, or another electrician. I got a same day visit from Fearghal; the job was superbly completed, and very reasonably priced. Moreover, Fearghal went the extra mile to replace all the electric outlets in my condo with the baby-safe kind, at no extra cost. I've never had such great service! Fearghal is professional, cleans up after himself (I love that), and does an excellent job. Highly recommend.

John is an excellent electrician and is thorough.  On a scale of 1 to 10, he is definitely a 10.  He has many years of experience.  He has a wonderful and friendly personality.  He is so easy to talk to that it seem like I was talking to my friend.  He is courteous, accommodating, and informative.  I couldn't ask for better service.

Natalie is fantastic. I originally hired her to mount my flat-screen TV - which she did seamlessly - along with hanging a large, super heavy mirror. She even hid the cords for the TV in the wall and was able to professionally route my cable to the other side of the room using a creative idea through the ceiling -- much more than I would have expected from a TV mounting specialist! Then I found out she's a pro electrician by trade, and quickly hired her on to do a lighting overhaul in my condo. She worked with me to make sure I understand how everything will look once installed, and sent me an estimate via email within a day. Her schedule is super flexible and accommodating, which is huge when you work normal office hours. She's professional, prompt and her work ethic is unmatched. If you need electrical work done in the Bay Area, go with Valencia Electric.

Edgar is very nice! He is very reasonable. He did the recess lightings on 3 of our rooms. He was fast and efficient! Would total recommend him!

This whole company is filled with awesome folks. I sent a few companies request for bid for installing EV charger and Fitch Electric was super fast and responsive. They even came out within hours to take a look at my project. Even though they weren't the cheapest, I went with them as they were the most professional, friendly, and responsive folks in town. Martin came to install the charger, he was fast and friendly! All in all, would recommend Fitch Electric to anyone who is in need of getting EV charger installed.

Got a quote from another top rated place that wanted to charge me $2,800. Well above the range for $500-1,500 that was the norm for this kind of work.

Reyff quoted just under $1,000, and worked me into the schedule quickly. Marcos and Steve worked incredibly fast and efficient. They were in and out by 11am and a pleasure to deal with.

The plug works better than advertised and I couldn't be happier. Will be hiring them again for my next project.

We have had Miro and his crew from BV Electric come out 2x now for different jobs, and they've done excellent work each time.  He sticks to his quotes, with no surprises or gotchas.  They show up on time as promised and do a great job.  Highly recommended!

Handyman Heroes really helped us out of a bind with relatively short notice, providing quick service, and being friendly and accommodating along the way!  The company sent Oliver, a young man who made two trips to our office with tools ready to go and smiles for everyone.

We recently moved into a new work-space and needed some wiring done for internet access.  Comcast came and told us it would take at least 60 BUSINESS DAYS to have anything done because, by their definition, running a couple dozen feet of panduit/wire molding along the perimeter of a wall to hide external cables for internet hook up constituted as major construction that required multiple levels of approval.

After no contact for about 40 days we got impatient and contacted Comcast who then informed us that they basically forgot about our request, that no one was scheduled for a site survey, and they weren't sure how long it would take to send out an electrician to do the wire work prior to internet installation.  With their permission we decided on hiring a third party service to do the preliminary wire installation.  We gave Handyman Heroes a call.  They came out within a day to do the site survey, provide us a fair quote, and went off to purchase the extra parts needed for job completion.  We made an appointment for installation for the following week, and the installation job was completed smoothly and without any difficulties.

Comcast finally made the effort to come to our office after 50ish days.  The site surveyor saw the wire work done and was impressed by how clean it looked.  He said there shouldn't be any problems.  A man from Comcast just came TODAY to hook our office up with internet and, upon finishing the job, also commented on how clean and professional the panduit/wire molding job looked, and how easy it was for him to work with what Handyman Heroes installed to get his job done.

Borin came out the next business day after contact. The work was minor (GFCI and thermostat) but it was so nice to have someone come out on short notice and take the time out of their busy schedule, especially at this time of year to do a small job and do it at a great price.
I wish all contractors were this good. Also nice to see someone based in Oakland.

RB Electric is a wonderful family electrical business - hire them!

My husband and I are remodeling our kitchen and we needed all new electrical. Our house is very old, from 1926 so it's cloth and tube.

We spoke with several companies and decided to go with RB Electic. The owner, Rigo, came out and walked us through what we needed. He is a pleasure to work with - clearly an expert at his craft and eager to provide a really good experience for us. We found his prices to be reasonable given the complexity of the work.

Rigo and his crew showed up on time and were ready to get started. Our job took an entire day and he had all of the materials (boxes, switches, etc) ready to go with him. They removed all of the old electrical and replaced it with new wiring and the correct boxes for the oven and fan hood. They worked very hard all day long and ask me a few questions along the way to make sure it was exactly what I wanted.

I've dealt with a lot of contractors over the years. Rigo and his crew are by far the best electricians I've ever worked with and we'll be hiring them again in the future. I highly recommend getting a quote from RB Electric and considering them for your electrical needs.

Michael fixed a faulty outlet for me the same day I contacted him.  Recently a socket in my house sparked when I put a plug in it.  My regular maintenance person (Richard Peltzman of RMS Maintenance Services) who has helped me enormously over the years, recommended the electrician, Michael Fairholm, with whom he's had excellent experiences in the past.  Michael was easy to reach!!  He uses both phone and email and I sent him an email.  He responded promptly (within less than one hour of sending the email) and even took the time to tell me in a phone message that he'd responded by email.  As it turned out, his response had gone into my spam, so it was good that he let me know about his email.  He came by and fixed the outlet later that the same day, so I didn't have to worry about a faulty outlet in my home.  He explained everything as he was fixing it, and gave a very fair price for the work. He provided a clear estimate before doing the work, and emailed a receipt for the work before he left.  He was very efficient, knowledgeable and capable.  I would certainly hire him again for any electrical work and highly recommend him.

We have a partial power outage in our house.  Alex came within 30 minutes, and correctly diagnosed the problem.  He also came in and installed a part on our roof needed to hold the wires securely.  The service was prompt, the prive was reasonable, and communications were clear.  Great service and I would recommend Alex to others.

My husband and I are going through a remodel and wanted to start by adding recessed lighting and ceiling fans. Ross was quick to respond to our request for a quote and he gave us an estimate on the same day he showed up. Approx 2 weeks later, he came and added/replaced 22 recessed lights and 2 ceiling fans, all in a day and a half. He purchased all the recessed lights and brought them to the house. He was very professional and did an excellent job! His price came out to be a lot lower than what we had expected! He comes highly recommended.

I contracted with Daniel to take care of a fairly complicated issue and I am very happy with the results. He was the second electrician to give an opinion and he was able to provide a much more detailed explanation of the issue as well as suggest multiple possible solutions. He was very responsive throughout the process and made sure to keep me updated every step of the way. At the end of it, the issue was resolved in a very timely manner and at the price at which it was quoted. I will gladly recommend Watts Electrical to anyone who needs electrical services.

I called Alley Electric based on the great reviews on Yelp. They did not disappoint! Wes and Alina were wonderful people to work with. I called them on Tuesday and although their schedule was packed, they squeezed me in for a 6-6:30pm appointment the next day. Wes diagnosed my electrical problem over the phone and quoted me a surprisingly good price.  When they came to do the work, they answered all my questions thoroughly and were very professional and friendly - downright likeable! The job was done in about 40 minutes without any problems. I wish all my experiences with contractors were this positive, I can't recommend them highly enough. Thanks, Alley Electric!
