Best Recessed Light Repair in San Francisco CA
Alex came to help us install some new lights, and replace some of the old electrical sockets. He was really excellent and we highly recommend iPowerSF.

Fearghal is the best! He helped me fix some lighting - he first helped me figure out over text and a phone call what the solution should be, then made sure I ordered the right parts by sending me the Amazon links, then came over to install it all.
That wasn't all. On his way out, I mentioned that a part of a lamp in my apartment had come loose. He took a look and said he'd think about what a good solution was - this wasn't part of his job, but he just offered to think on my behalf. He then texted me to tell me he had a solution and came back FREE OF CHARGE. He brought a tool with him that fixed my lamp, and he said he was happy to help.
I'm a fan for life.

On-line booking worked fine, with text updates to arrival.
This was a tricky bit of electrical work to make a ca.1960 forced air furnace connect to a Next thermostat.
Even with the correct transition equipment piece, it still required understanding mislabeled or unlabeled ancient wiring to tie it all together. John is clearly a master electrician.
Persistance, intelligence, and good attitude made it work.
Worth every penny!

Called them to request service to install outdoor GFCI outlet for my water fountain. The owner Lucas picked up the phone and asked me to send the pictures of the location where I want to install the outdoor outlet. Sent him the required pictures and information of the job that I want them to do and then follow up with few text messages. No response at all I guess they don't have courtesy to reply to a prospect client. Will not recommend this business.
Updated:
The owner called me right back after my review and apologized for their mishaps. Updated my ratings to 3 stars.

Their team was very responsive in giving an estimate, scheduling the work, and following up with any questions. Arrived on time, did great work, and was a reasonable value for cost. Highly recommend.

I Called the Rohnert Park location around the first part of August. Was told either Fernando or Estaphan would be out to evaluate and give an estimate. A few hours before the scheduled time Chet came by without any notice.
I was a bit surprised but was glad to see someone coming by.
When scheduling I asked for someone who was seasoned as I had not done business before and wanted to be sure that I would receive someone experienced. Chet assured me he was the right man and all that work are great at there work. He also mentioned he was the superior to those mentioned. So all good............great
After reviewing my needs and a brief discussion Chet said he would be back in a week to let me know an estimate as he was leaving for a weeks vacation. I didn't care that much about a week so I said OK. Close to two weeks go by and no communication. I thought best to call. Turned out the vacation was two weeks not one. Well OK. After that I waited till mid week with no contact so I called to see what was up. I believe I left a message asking for input. A day or two later I got a voice message from Chet saying that my electrical needs were in review and he would get back to me. Now Friday evening an d haven't heard anything?
So here we are 3 weeks later with no bid and no real communication.
I only called Reyff Electric as I didn't have a lot of time to discuss my needs and felt I would just give the job to him if it sounded anywhere reasonable.
In all fairness I am aware of how difficult it is in the contracting world to do things In a timely manner but in this case I feel that if you can't give the service requested then field it to another colleague and don't tie up the customer. It gets real old being in the dark from contractors who don't do what they say they are going to do and waisting the customers time. At least keep a minimal amount of communication in place.
Sorry but fair is fair. This is substandard.
Good luck all

We've had a longstanding electrical issue and that was quickly evaluated yesterday, much to our relief! We were also advised that we need to upgrade our panel (I know it to be true and not an upsell). I will use these folks again as I've added them to my address book for a quick call when needed - and for the panel change!

Great service!!
We needed to change a sensor light. Rigo the electrician gave me a couple of options. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Will definitely use them again for all our electrical needs!

Started out well enough. Made an appointment, but they had to reschedule last minute. Owner himself came over the next day and gave an honest assessment of the job, saying that we're better of doing time and materials instead of set quote, as it would save us money. Struck us as honest enough and wanted to book him.
He promised to text us to set an appointment, but that's where the review fell off. After at least two calls, texts, and emails each, they were totally non-responsive. Turned out to be wasted time.

Oswaldo and his team are amazing . They installed the light, changed outlets, rewired the electric wires for me. They came on time, are very polite and professional. Everyone wants to hire electrician, should call OG first.

We got an estimate from three companies for a challenging project and Mario came up with a solution the others didn't that saved me from a big hassle and a bunch of cash. You can stop searching, you found your electrician. Honest, reliable, quick and smart. Highly recommended, thank you Mario!

We've now found our go-to guy for electrical problems. We had him in because our driveway lights weren't working. He quickly found the problem.
We also asked him how much it would cost to put the switch for the lights inside the house instead of out in the garage. It wasn't unreasonable but it was mite than we wanted to spend right then. So he thought a bit and came up with a cheaper solution: put a timer on the switch. We're happy with the solution.
We had him back a second time to fix a doorbell which was every now and then deciding to take some time out. Both times we've contacted him, he's responded promptly and arrived on time and done good work. He's also relaxed, friendly and personable.
When I first contacted him, I did so by email and phone. It was email he responded to, so that may be the best way to reach him.

Quick reply to first outreach downhill from there. First the range they gave for my job $350-1250, ended up being estimate for upto $1400. Second they asked for photos ( better than visit during covid right?) and promised a quote . Advisor tried to get $125 from me to complete the estimate based on photos he wasn't convinced my requested outlet was possible . Extortion!!! Finally and worst of all cause well you can't fault a company for trying to keep money coming in during these trying times by hook or crook, he deliberately lied in his email to me over code vs permit process ( either that or this company does not take out permits much) either way if you are still reading this and you haven't clicked out and gone to next company I am afraid I can't help you because you are the type of person who accepts everything a contractor tells you without researching their words. This company is perfect for you then.

RB Electric is a wonderful family electrical business - hire them!
My husband and I are remodeling our kitchen and we needed all new electrical. Our house is very old, from 1926 so it's cloth and tube.
We spoke with several companies and decided to go with RB Electic. The owner, Rigo, came out and walked us through what we needed. He is a pleasure to work with - clearly an expert at his craft and eager to provide a really good experience for us. We found his prices to be reasonable given the complexity of the work.
Rigo and his crew showed up on time and were ready to get started. Our job took an entire day and he had all of the materials (boxes, switches, etc) ready to go with him. They removed all of the old electrical and replaced it with new wiring and the correct boxes for the oven and fan hood. They worked very hard all day long and ask me a few questions along the way to make sure it was exactly what I wanted.
I've dealt with a lot of contractors over the years. Rigo and his crew are by far the best electricians I've ever worked with and we'll be hiring them again in the future. I highly recommend getting a quote from RB Electric and considering them for your electrical needs.

Michael is my go to electrician. He has helped me clean up a wiring nightmare in a condo, which had switches mixed and hazardous wiring in the outlets. Then I needed help with an older single family home and he upgraded all the outlets, checked the switches, and installed an outdoor motion activated floodlight for me. He is quick to respond and is always on time. Most recently, I needed to get an electrical issue resolved before a tenant moved in and Michael was quick to respond, troubleshoot the issue, and resolve it.

Horacio and Edwin installed electrical outlets throughout my home today. They were on time, cleaned up after themselves, and most importantly checked to make sure each outlet was in working order. I have used Arc Electric several times now and I am always impressed with their ability to get the job done in a timely manner. I will always call them first, to take care of my electrical needs.....

We have a partial power outage in our house. Alex came within 30 minutes, and correctly diagnosed the problem. He also came in and installed a part on our roof needed to hold the wires securely. The service was prompt, the prive was reasonable, and communications were clear. Great service and I would recommend Alex to others.
